I purchased a key on Monday, March 11, 2019. I had an issue with getting the key to work and let me download. I called and spoke to Andrew in tech support, he walked me right through the process. It was my lack of sleep while traveling that I didn't follow the prompts as instructed. It loaded and was working much faster, burning much less background resources than McAfee. I had another issue unrelated to their software where after doing the Dell updates that mangled my OS. I called tech support again and spoke to Hunter, then Josh. They stayed on the line with me for quite a spell, fixing my issue in safe mode. I only wish my Admin were as adept in solving issues and providing solutions. Thanks so much.

I've had Webroot SecureAnywhere since May 2014. I never had to contact them for service until today 3-5-2019 and only because I needed to add my new laptop to my existing account. This has proven to be one of the worst experiences that I have had with a company to whom I was paying for service. On a call into their 800#, I pressed the '2' for Consumer Service Support and it played a recording that directed me to use their online support. The online support wasn't working for me so this is why I called to speak with a Tech.

A previous review stated, "Customer service is also very friendly and extremely talented." That is nothing but ** and is doubtless planted by a Webroot shill. First of all, if you try to buy one year's worth of anti-virus coverage for $29.99, they will instead charge your credit card over $80.00! BAIT AND SWITCH IS ILLEGAL!!! If you try to dispute the charge, they will continue to screw you over by refusing to speak with you, send you to dead end voicemails, and using their automated voice messaging system to just terminate your phone calls. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I didn't renew my Webroot Antivirus. I was planning on renewing it over the weekend but before I could my computer stopped working. My neighbor (Geek Squad ordinaire) helped me troubleshoot. Within 30 seconds of rebooting something was kicking off 1000s of processes and slowing my computer to a crawl. Working in safe mode he determined it was Webroot. Uninstalling the program solved the problem. Not cool Webroot. You shouldn't impersonate a virus to cause us to renew.

Purchased total protection for 5, used on only two. One of them got infected and started getting slow, slower, and now it won't even boot. Got no help from Webroot, called and left messages via emails. The PC is now useless. Immediately went back to my old provider (McAfee) to save the other PC. Still have not heard from Webroot, however, got emails for renewal...which I'll cancel. Stay away from this product. I am a current customer and my review is based on my experience, giving one star, which it does not deserve.

After my Webroot subscription expired the program slowed down my computer to the point it was no longer starting up or running. I was also not able to renew the subscription because of it. I tried all kinds of ways to troubleshoot, however only after I uninstalled Webroot in safe mode was I able to use my computer again. I will never again buy this program.

I recently purchased a new iMac at Best Buy to replace my old iMac 2013 that was running Webroot Secure Anywhere and which was installed on my 2013 iMac at Best Buy. I brought the new iMac home and started the process of transferring everything from the old to the new iMac. The exchange was flawless with the exception of Webroot now interfering with my ability to operate my new iMac. About every 30 seconds, Webroot (which now WAS NOT protecting my new iMac) kept interrupting me on my computer regardless of if I was on my wifi or not. I finally had to go through a long process at home to uninstall it.

I renewed my subscription by buying a new keycode and adding it to my account. Been doing that for years with no issues. But the last time I did that all my saved passwords in the password management got deleted. Apparently 'cause the last keycode didn't get renewed within 45 days and didn't care that I had an active keycode subscription still on the account. I contacted support and their resolution? Disconnect from the internet and export the passwords by downloading and saving it to cvs file... um... "disconnect" from the internet and "download" a file that apparently is empty 'cause they deleted it? Did the laws of physics change or did Webroot hire the dumbest IT people they can find? Thanks, now I have to recover usernames and passwords from hundreds of sites I've accumulated for years.

Wouldn't install on new CP. They told me it was a Trojan virus on my IP address and told me I can't fix it or get a new one but he said I could pay 250 to fix it. He insisted over and over that I should pay 250 otherwise I cannot download Webroot. Well I Googled it and it took 30 secs to get new IP address and voila. I had a new IP and Webroot was able to download. Thanks again shady agent in India.

Purchased the $29.99 Webroot AntiVirus then cancelled the auto-renewal on Aug 30, a month before the my subscription ends and not only I was charged for auto-renewal but I was charged for the most expensive subscription at $79.99.

Apparently it's time to renew my subscription. Unfortunately, Webroot has locked my computer. I either have to renew or uninstall. Problem is the reviews online say if you uninstall it shuts off your internet and creates other problems. I can't research it any further because it will not allow me to use ANY program or search engine. Very poor marketing gimmick. Makes me lose any trust I may have had in them.

Yesterday, July 16, 2018, I opened a request to "fix" several attempts to access my password; MISTAKE. I watched, horrified, as my apps and firewall were deleted; Webroot agent Alex entered my screen because my Webroot security "flagged" this as "suspicious activity". To summarize a long frustrating day that followed this agent used his incredible patience with me to repair the damage done by intrusion. PLUS he installed a very thorough security system leaving me with visual instruction on its purpose and use. I am so thankful I had Webroot, this "guard" on my computer and agent Alex ** who worked tirelessly with me. Awesome. Grateful.

I have had Webroot since 2014 and it came with my new computer then thru Best Buy also! I am totally satisfied with this product and would not use any other! Used to use Norton but thought I would give Webroot a try and have used it every year since then! Easy to use and easy to install. Have not had to worry about viruses and attacks! Totally great product and their support is unbeatable! Keep up the good work Webroot!

I first dealt with WebRoot many years ago back in 2008 and back then they were a very reputable company. I could count on them to do the right things, to protect my computer. Now it is more of an invasion. After I downloaded the latest version of WebRoot it kept wanting me to open up my phone to its intrusive searches telling me I had all of these problems that needed to be "fixed." The issue and the thing that I could not believe, is that WebRoot had not run one scan, so how could they possibly know that I/my phone had any kind of problem?

Webroot came with the computer I bought at Best Buy. I typically use McAfee but haven't had any complaints about Webroot and haven't wished once that I had gotten the other one. Webroot is Easy to use and there are not a lot of pop ups. I do not have any viruses and have had the computer almost a year. The icons are easy to use and are nicely designed. Works with my computer nicely. It was super easy to install, just go to the website and type in the code and it works! However, Webroot could put out a weekly summary report showing what they removed and when. That would give a better idea of how it's working. I don't even really know it's there because I barely receive notifications. Nevertheless, I would recommend anyone get this. A friend can even use the code you get.

Webroot has software that will automatically scan everything that you already have upon initial installation or originally have. For example any usb sticks, external hard drives, all the drives on your computer, burned CDs it basically can scan everything you own right off the bat. This is a very nice feature because no matter what antivirus you have had before you can already be infected and not know that. The second biggest feature that I like about Webroot Antivirus is that it has a multiple application suite depending on which you get, you can just use it for everything and be done with it. Anti-malware antivirus and I'm pretty sure it detects malicious connections made by programs although I haven't really had to mess with the networking side of things. This means one application does it all at once.

Webroot was recommended by my college professor from my A+ class and so far it has served me well. I enjoy the fact that this software does its job and I don't pay anything for it. I am always open to products that are cheap and or free. I have never gotten a virus while using this product. Faster scans would be appreciated though.

Webroot AntiVirus is very easy to use and effective. It's also affordable and allows you to put it up to 3 other devices. And I love the extreme clean that it does. It digs down into hidden files and scans and does a full search after it finds the problems it allows you to kill. And still does a full clean afterwards. Customer service is also very friendly and extremely talented. I loved my experience with it. I choose this antivirus over Kaspersky and will continue to use it for a long time.

Webroot AntiVirus comes with the Geek Squad service, which is great in general as they helped me with computer issues and I have a lot. It also helped me detect malware before they could harm my PC with great damage. However, the looks needs more lively green in it as the green it uses is bland and generic. Overall, my experience with this antivirus software has been very excellent while McAfee has not been good and Norton ended up messing up badly.

It's proactive defense against more than just viruses and ability to catch viruses as well. When Webroot AntiVirus first started out, they only protected against spyware and had a firewall but they've become more complete now. However, I don't love the numbers they put up at independent anti-virus review sites. Those numbers need to be improved. Prices are always something that can be decreased as well.

I like that while I had this antivirus software, I had fewer pop-up ads and no issues with viruses, whether high or low risk, getting through the software. I also like that I could rely on the software and it was not necessary for me to think about it unless I received an alert, which actually never happened, since Webroot apparently caught everything that came up. And as long as I don't have any issues I am happy with the product. This product satisfied that requirement and I have no complaints. Overall, I had a good experience with this product, which was recommended to me by the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Although I don't have that computer any longer, I would be willing to use Webroot again when I get my replacement.

McAfee causes viruses as I have just bought a new Dell laptop at Sam's Club and one of the first things the tech told my husband and myself was to uninstall the McAfee. On the other hand, Webroot AntiVirus gives great protection and would recommend to anyone who uses a computer on a regular basis. Anyone can install the virus protection and feel reassured to have great success with it, with no complaints and is reasonably cheap. However, it would be nice if it would protect against trojan viruses which seem to be roaming the computer world.

Webroot AntiVirus has good online info and download. It has many good features to protect a computer. It really helps to make America great again. It is a good product and scans efficiently although deep scans could be faster. It takes forever sometimes. Still, it is easy to use and works good. It is also available in CD and is easy to install. The price was the cheapest on the shelf at the local Walmart located in the town over. And I like the name of product. Also, the quality is good for the overall price.

It was recommended by a Best Buy salesman when I purchased my mother's Sony VAIO laptop. Webroot had a low local imprint on the computer meaning the software itself did not take too much space on the computer. The software was always up to date using cloud technologies to update virus definitions. On the other hand, I wish they'd make a basic version that is free and comparable to Avast's free version. Avast provides completely free decent protection while Webroot charges for the continual use of its product. But the overall experience was good and simple.

Webroot AntiVirus did the job that it said it would - detected and removed threats. Scans were very quick and just took a few minutes. Cost was minimal for me as my son had a multi-device license. I liked the software. However, my pc at the time that I used Webroot ran slower and I was never able to get it to run faster. Pc tended to freeze up and had to be shut down and restarted.

The software was too easy to use, and offer different types of design. Also, the software offer me the opportunity to fight off virus. However, I would want to change the price and offer it free to use not on a trial basis. If they offer at a lower price then more people might be able to afford it. It does automatic scans which is good because I'd forget otherwise. They rarely bother me until it's time to renew. I have used this for several yrs and I keep renewing it. Webroot has fairly good reviews, though I was a bit nervous about its Cloud involvement. Sometimes, I'm not sure what is going on unless I click on it. Also, there is a feature that may interfere with my FF browser, but I'm not sure if it does, or not. But overall, Webroot has worked out pretty well. Upon purchase of the computer the Webroot virus protection was part of the package. The program was easy to install and did its job. We had no issues with the way it functioned and I liked that I could have help online to fix problems. But the understanding and questions about the program could be a little more in untech language. Also, Webroot could be offering more promos.

I like that it really help with the software. It's easy, fast and the best so far. My kids, family and friends love it. But it really don't protect against all virus and need a little more work and choices. Never heard of this product until it pop up and that was at least once. I had received it for free when I bought the computer new about 2 years prior but it expired and they wanted money to renew it. It was pretty high and I could not afford it, so I switched to Windows Defender for free.

This is my first time using the software and it does a good job protecting me from any attacks. I chose this software because it was the better price compared to others. And for the price I paid it was well worth it. It has a malware protection and it protects me from malicious websites and files aimed at stealing my information. But Webroot could still do a better job given that it does not detect all malicious websites and files. So I have a second software that is free installed on my computer to detect what my realtime software does not detect.

My dad suggested Webroot secure anywhere because of the cross platform antivirus protection. It not only protected from viruses but also spyware and malware. I love that you can put it on multiple cross platform devices such as computers tablets and even android and Apple phones. But best of all it catches all the viruses coming in. However, I dislike that everyday a popup comes up asking me to upgrade and that after I upgrade it tells me how long I have till I need to upgrade again.

This antivirus software is what came with my laptop purchase. I liked it better than when I had Norton antivirus, so I continued to renew my subscription with Webroot. Webroot was very good at sussing out spyware and attempted browser hijacks - which are the most annoying, and how many malware programs (like spambots and even ransomware) then get into your computer. I don't like the trend in current software to make all the UI look like it's a tablet app. The majority of us don't have touchscreen computers. Microsoft wants you to design that way but hey, information density is KING. Give me resizeable windows and the abilty to see lots of data on screen at once without wasted whitespace. I last used this AV in 2015. I found others to be superior. My current antivirus is Avira. Webroot was good, but then something better came along. I always look at the antivirus testing websites and then pick one from the top 3 or 4 that have the best multi computer license price.

It was offered through Best Buy and I have Geek Squad protection. This is a great tool to have and protects your computer completely. This antivirus software is a great addition to my protection. This software works really well but I would improve the length of time you get it. Nevertheless, the price is a great feature and it is very affordable to the average consumer.

The store where we buy our products offer Webroot AntiVirus and we can take the products to the store with any problems. The software itself is pretty cool. Webroot tells me if I am having any problems downloading a program and if it’s going to cause me any issues. I like the tech support and how it alerts me with problems immediately. The tech support is 24 hours a day and they solve most of our problems. If they don't, they send it off for us so that it can be fixed. They also help us by phone or online teleconference. I consider them very efficient and knowledgeable. But sometimes you have to wait online for a while before you get helped. The face they put on is the face they give. When you take into the store, one may run into a problem of the salesperson not being able to fix your issue. However, there someone else there who can.

The Geek Squad is knowledgeable and the support is for more than the anti virus program. I am comfortable with computers but by no means an expert. They helped me to understand the program and the benefits. Webroot works easily. It has been easy to download, install, use, and understand. The updates are automatic and the program explains what it is doing and why. Webroot has been reliable for me and it has stopped several viruses. It does not slow down my computer and I like that it prompts me for renewal.The chat option with the customer service is new for me but I have found it surprisingly helpful.

It runs efficiently and seamlessly in the background and I feel safer browsing the web. But I would like it to do a system scan automatically more often, at least four times a day. Webroot AntiVirus is simple and secure. My husband trusts the software and I like that it is possible to manually check for viruses and other spyware, etc if my pc starts to become sluggish or show other signs it may have come down with a virus. However, the checks for viruses seemed to take a while. I understand it takes time to go through a lot of files, but it's hard to wait anxiously, especially if it's possibly a financial security I'm worried about.

McAfee is the product name that was most recognizable but price is generally the driver for me when it comes to making such purchases. It can detect a virus/malware as soon as it is downloaded to the computer, and then removes it and rescans the computer. It also scans every day at certain times. I don't even know it's at work as it is so fast and quiet. I have to call Geek Squad from time to time though because it doesn't control malware very well but it seems to have done a good job thus far. I've never lost any data.

By continually scanning your hard drive for obscure or maliceware type files it continually sweeps for viruses and malware to protect your system and computer. It is a very good software program for protection and viruses. The Webroot software is continually updated with new and recently discovered viruses and malware to ensure the software is up to date and current.

It was easy to install and use on my computer and other devices that I had connected to the software on the website and everything else that I had used for it. It's fine just the way it is because it's already a good software program with good features. The price was good at the value of it as well. Overall, it was a very good experience.

It is a great experience that I have with my antivirus software as it helps me to prevent viruses that I can get with any web that I am opening. It makes me feel more secure that I am protected. I am also confident that it will help me get prevent with identity theft. I trust their product as they're made with a quality and I can also contact the customer service from where I bought it. The Webroot AntiVirus came with the computer. I like the way it warns me about getting into dangerous sites, and blocks me from getting into certain others. I like that it is associated with Best Buy and Geek Squad. However, I would like stronger anti virus features. I once took the computer in to be cleaned and they found quite a lot of viruses on my computer. I know it can't catch all viruses but still it could be better.

I have used Webroot for over one year and renewed the contract online. It was recommended by, and originally purchased at, Best Buy after they fixed my computer following a hack. Since they work on computers all the time, I trusted their recommendation, and I'm very pleased that I did. The price is reasonable (i.e. within my budget) and I am very satisfied with the product. I use my computer for word processing, ordering supplies for hobbies, emailing, and searching the internet and I have been alerted to some potential problems.

Webroot does an excellent job. I like that it is very light on my computer and doesn't slow it down. It routinely scans my computer to keep me safe. I've had 3 computers and on each one I've gone with Webroot. The price is excellent, and it's only a yearly charge.

My overall experience with Webroot was a positive one. It's easy to scan when you are looking for a virus. Was able to find some and remove them easily. Renewing took me just a bit then it keep popping up after I paid that I need to buy again. Other than that Webroot has been very very useful to me and helped protect my computer.

I like having the extra protection on my computers. You can scan and clean computer all in one click. You can optimize your system. And you can defrag your system all on same software. It monitors computer and looks for possible viruses and malware. I run sites I have used for many years and on updates to Webroot it all of a sudden says my work site is dangerous, along with many of my normal sites. It should be a lot cheaper in price though. Saying there are free software sites I can upgrade for $20. McAfee, Norton, Webroot and other programs like this should be around same price range, not $70 - 100.

I chose Webroot AntiVirus for the price and reputation and it works great. It was easy to install and run on all of my machines with easy to use functions and auto-running scans. There is a low profile on my resources. The software does not take up much space on my hard drive. But the subscription service renewal process could be updated so there is an automatic renewal. Nevertheless, my overall experience with the software was positive.

The Geek Squad said to choose it so I did. The fire wall is one of the best I have ever had on my computer, and I have gone through many different programs, I also like that it gives me a running tab of how many more days I have till I have to renew it. It's a great program that keeps out the bad stuff and only lets in the good. I have never had any problems with it in the many years I have used it. It's a perfect program and I would recommend it to anyone who needs it for their computer.

I have had an overall good experience with Webroot AntiVirus. I used it a lot at school and a friend told me that it worked really well for him, so that's what got me to install it in the first place. I like Webroot AntiVirus because it was easy to install and was successfully able to keep my computer free of viruses without slowing it down significantly. But I would make it cost less money or offer a free version with only the necessary features included because I really don't need that much protection when I am using my computer.

I had heard about Webroot in Best Buy, but I was sold on MacAfee. Webroot was suggested to me by the computer expert that repaired my computer as a better alternative, so I chose it for my computer. Webroot AntiVirus protects my computer from virus intrusions and malware. I like it because it does not enter into my life and I don't have to deal with it. Once you upload the software you never have a virus problem again.

We had McAfee first which was alright but I remember it would pop up a lot. The Best Buy employee told me to try Webroot AntiVirus and it was really great. I like that it does automatic scanning and deletes threats for you. I also liked that it blocked unsafe sites and that it wasn't intrusive or always popping up. But sometimes it would block a site that is safe. It blocked Yahoo once and maybe a few other popular sites. But other than that I have had no problems with Webroot AntiVirus and would buy again.

I was at the store one day and several technology sales associates recommended it to me. I have had nothing but good experiences with Webroot AntiVirus. It is incredibly easy to understand and run on my computer. And I like software features which are not overly complicated but still do their job. It has kept my computer virus free and is incredibly affordable. But I would like this software even more if it offered an even wider variety of scans, and if it had a way to set up computer antivirus scans at certain set scans during the week so I know exactly what is happening when it is happening.

Webroot AntiVirus was recommended to us by someone we trust. So far we are happy since our computer has remained protected. We have used other antivirus websites in the past, but feel Webroot AntiVirus is the best to use... it gives you warnings beforehand and does the daily scans and updates like clockwork. Somehow I got two accounts and noticed I was paying twice. I called in. I found no phone number on the web page, no surprise for cheap companies these days. The number is available on the web Google search. I finally got that issue fixed. Then the next day a pop-up appears right across my coding editor that I need to set-up Webroot, new access code requirement I think. A bit put-out because I was setting up a multiplayer game on Unity3D, I clicked the pop-up and it did a error. "Can't find website". Now I'm mad. I call Webroot and the tech remotely hooked-up and said I needed maintenance on my computer and it would cost $200, that's funny, this is the only problem I have.

After installing Webroot AntiVirus I have had PUP infections constantly. Never had this before with Trend Micro Antivirus. I have since installed Malwarebytes and it removed 12 PUP files. It also warned me of fraud sites which never had happened before. Webroot is not what they claim to be.

Webroot is low cost and the impact on my computer running is very little. This is a key factor picking this product. There are many programs out there that are way bulky and slow your system down. I chose this application because it seemed very streamline and did not impact the operating system. But, they try to keep selling or pushing programs I do not want or need. I hate pop up unless there is an issue. Overall, I am okay with Webroot but when it expires I most likely will be looking for better apps and fast ones. It’s very important for anti-virus programs to stay updated and sometimes it does not a hundred percent clear that this has been updated.

I get the Webroot AntiVirus as part of my Geek Squad so not only do I get virus protection but repairs with my purchase. This makes it easy to protect my computer while I visit various web sites especially the many surveys that I do. Because of the addition of Geek Squad there is nothing I need in for this antivirus software. But I would like to understand how these anti virus software works and what else I can do to protect my computer. I know very little about antivirus software except that you need to have it to protect your computer. For me the best thing is not only is a great antivirus software it comes with Geek Squad so you can call them to fix any problems.

Webroot AntiVirus was the best one by all the media at that point in time. I also trust the FixMeStick or what it's called was created by a college student for his Mom. That right there indicates to me that he is ethical and will deliver on removing the bad stuff. But it's been a while since I used any of them mentioned. I quit using it because I felt that it was slowing down my laptop as well as I didn't feel that it ever found anything, but other sites did. I would love to try the FixMeStick and I prefer the idea of removing it physically is better than it going to where? Space? Don't allow it to slow down the device and have better CSP-ones that live in the USA so that communication is easier. I am one that will ask where they are located. If overseas, I politely request that they transfer me to an USA CSR. Only once did a guy start verbally assaulting me via the phone.

My software experience with Webroot was effortless. I chose this software due to a promo with buying a computer. I didn't have to do a lot to install the software as Webroot installs itself when entering the product key on a website. It's very light on computer use. I like the product package design and color scheme. But they could make it more effective and less expensive on a yearly basis. I try to avoid buying antivirus software when possible because it's so expensive. Also I am unsure how effective the software is because the product doesn't have any clear statements.

The Webroot AntiVirus does the best job of scanning out the viruses. It was first installed by my son in law as he always used it and had very good results. It was very reliable and there were very few problems that I ever experienced when something questionable has come through. But as soon as I detected a problem I would contact them and they would immediately fix the problem. Webroot AntiVirus is quite inexpensive and very effective. The dashboard was intuitive and easy to operate. It cleaned virus from my hard drive quickly and thoroughly. It took only ten minutes to eradicate the infected files. However, downloads could go faster. They took several minutes over a digital subscriber line and sometimes took nearly half an hour to update the software. It also took three tries to get everything updated. Nevertheless, Webroot AntiVirus is an affordable solution to a virus issue I was having with Windows 8. Once the software was updated it cleaned the virus from my drive and deleted all affected files.

I get this software as an incentive to have a account with Ally Bank and it's completely free. They don’t make you have large deposits either. This saves me at least $70 per year over Norton. Also, the software offers decent protection. I do not generally visit risky sites anyways so it works out. I have no complaints with their software unless it was to say it blocked a virus occasionally or show that it was updating from time to time and sometimes I wonder if it’s on.

The program is great and I like everything about it. It has worked good for me so I have had no problems with it or learning how to use it and the scans. My dad chose the Webroot AntiVirus and told me it was a good one to use and it made sure all the virus and threats were not on the computer and the experience has just been amazing also with how the app is set up and how the button are set up. Everything is right there so it's not hard to find the right scan that you need to use. The scan that you need to get done are organized by what you want to scan on the computer.

I am still using Webroot AntiVirus and my overall experience is great... it works!!! It's a solid program for a very reasonable price. It keeps my computer clean and safe from viruses and it warns me it I try to go to an unsafe site.

When I call them on the phone they are very nice and very helpful to me. Their software program works very well and have had no issues so far. Their program keeps your computer secure and protected. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I downloaded Webroot and installed it (with a free 14-day trial). I set it up and started to use it. Then I needed to sign back into the website (which requires a password and a PIN). The site wouldn't take my password and locked me out. I got an error message and sent it to support because it wouldn't let me change my password to get in. "Support" would just keep sending me the same password to use to log in and that password didn't work either, ever, locking me out. THEN I see a charge in my bank for my "free" service. So 3 days into my attempt to use Webroot I had to contact "support" to tell them if they couldn't get me into my account today and return my money ASAP I would be leaving immediately.

I have confidence knowing that help is just a click or phone call away. In the past I have contacted Webroot for the removal of a threat. They were able to solve the problem I had in just a short time.

I have been in the computer industry for 30. I have rarely seen a program as well written with footprint as small. It just works and works very well. I have installed it on 3 separate networks and I have yet to have do a forced removal of any virus or malware in 5 years of use.

Webroot is a very affordable software, it can cover multiple computers, is easy to use. And it works a lot better than the Norton software I have previously used. Webroot was fairly priced for the amount of computers it covered and consistently found viruses Norton missed. So I wanted to get rid of Norton because it keep missing viruses that would get on my computer. I have enjoyed the Webroot software very much. It is a very useful and helpful software and I would buy again.

I'm generally very happy with the product. It does its job very well, is user friendly and has a very small footprint on my machine. The best AV I ever had. However there is a small flaw - lately - as so many others posted online who have the same problem - as of December 2017 WRSA.exe needs permission from UAC at every startup - very annoying. When UAC is turned off it does not occur but UAC should be on. All measures have been taken to no avail. Otherwise - love Webroot.

I have Webroot Security Complete and have been using them for more than 15 years. I like Webroot because it finds issues that other utilities could not find or ignored. The program has a small footprint on whatever it is installed on and will alert you only if there is an issue that needs to be resolved. The price is also reasonable compared to some of the other "top guns" in the field. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for solid protection.

I chose current antivirus "Norton" or "Symantec" because it had been recommended by "Staples" where I bought my computer. It was also recommended by "CenturyLink" my internet provider. Also, when I tried "McaAfee" I got virus in computer which was removed by CenturyLink technician. Webroot was installed on my computer when I purchased it. It automatically renews annually. It has the reputation of being one of the best. It updates on a regular basis. I can easily run scans anytime I wish to, plus it notifies me if I have not done so for some time.

I have had Webroot protecting our computers for about a decade or better already and truly like it. Since having Webroot installed on my computer and my wife's laptop we have never experienced any issues whatsoever. I have tried to load on my cellphone but can't get it done. I have followed the instructions given on play store but when it comes to register it, it skips that part so have given up trying! Unfortunately as a long term user of Webroot when it comes to renewing my term or should I say extending there is no patronage discount, this is my biggest dislike, but I do love the protection it provides.

This is my first time using this anti virus. I am not a techie but I know that my computer functions well and performs at the same speed. The only thing is that the price of subscription is a bit higher than some antivirus but this is one of the best and trusted antivirus out there, it scans your computer fast and I am loving it. I like the fact that this antivirus pops up at the start of my computer, showing me the status of my computer, if I have viruses or not, if I have to remove potential threats or not. It is very responsive so I know which apps or websites I can open or let alone download. My experience is excellent overall because not only it is an antivirus, it is also an anti-malware. It stops the viruses and worms that exist to infect other computers, and also protects me during web surfing sessions by blocking harmful websites. Never had a problem with viruses, it protects my computer.

The previous anti-virus I had (Norton) took over some aspects of my computer that I didn't expect nor that I wanted and it was very hard to overcome these problems and difficult to uninstall. Had to take it to my computer guru to completely wipe it out. But Webroot AntiVirus' simple to download, install and use. It provides good virus protection and has updates automatic feature that kept the protection up to date and functioning properly. However, it was a little pricey. And I wish it had come with a disc for back up just in case something went wrong and had to re-install.

Webroot AntiVirus has very good reviews as well as came very highly recommended from our friends that were familiar with computer virus software. It was easy to use and had good reminding program already included. It thoroughly check for viruses and malware and was able to clean them and isolate anything for and on your computer. It was relatively inexpensive and cost-effective. However, it would be nice if it didn't take quite as long to run a full sweep as well as it did not do a very good job at removing Trojans and copycat viruses that duplicate and replicate themselves.

Webroot AntiVirus is worth the cost and experience. Also, they are supported by local brick and mortar store with knowledgeable staff and products needed for personal computer and printer and blocks suspected sites and was chosen by local support to block unwanted offsite support. However, it slows some programs and blocks some sites that were before accessed probably before but better off without and also upgrades should be free or with discounts.

Webroot was recommended by repair shop which fixed my laptop and IT Department at my job after a bad experience and failure of McAfee antivirus to protect my laptop. Webroot was installed by repair shop and I appreciate and like that it has been more effective than using McAfee. Webroot has been a better experience than McAfee by far.

Webroot AntiVirus protects all my personal information and important documents from malware giving me a peace of mind when I'm online. It has many features that help you organize, and it adds that extra protection. I know that my laptop is fully protected from hackers and so are my other devices because I am able to use this antivirus program on 3 devices for the price of one. However, it is a very big program and slows down my laptop a lot. Overall it's a really good antivirus software to have and I recommend it to everyone. It's great and I really enjoy it.

I have used Norton and McAfee security systems previously and when I purchased a new product and was looking I saw Webroot. You could upload to multiple devices and so I went with it. Everything appears to be working as expected at this point in time. My overall experience has been fine. I chose Webroot because it had good reviews. I already have McAfee installed and included on my computer so I feel better knowing I have added protection.

I’m satisfied and confident in my choice. I like the ease of installation, the user-friendly instructions and simple dashboard with all simple clicks. I like the list of user settings that I can decide what I want and don't want. I would like the software to be able to approve or protect certain areas to cut down on the scan time. But I am glad the program does not try and do too many other things and take over and slow down my computer. My overall experience is positive. I choose the software due to the price and reviews that I read about it.

I have been with Webroot for over 8 years. Last month my cell phone was hacked and many of pictures was stolen by someone or some organization. Shortly I tried to get in touch with Webroot support with every way possible on-online, but all ways were dead-end with no way of letting me send my claim in. It was terrible, I won't use or recommend Webroot products after this experience that proved to me that Webroot is weak and worthless. Don't count on Webroot.

I like the virus protection and the price. It’s easy to use and easy to understand and the quality was amazing! It was also very easy navigating and understanding how to set it up and how it works and runs. It’s absolutely brilliant!!! If it was free that would be just amazing. I would save so much money and my computer and devices would all be covered and protected. It would be absolutely awesome!!! The price and quality was my main concern and they blew me through the roof! I'm so glad I purchased it! It's kept me protected in all of my devices and it gives me peace of mind knowing that I won't get a virus or get hacked.

Webroot AntiVirus is easy to use and gives me immediate warning of dangerous websites. I then can know when to surf safely. I also can see a report of what each scan finds in my system and what information has been quarantined. The software operated efficiently in the background and only notifies me when I am in dangerous territory and it doesn't seem to have any glitches. I also like that the program notifies me by email when it is time to renew rather than like McAfee which holds your computer hostage by unending popups. I had Mc Afee software and when I updated this software installed I was informed that it was not compatible with my operating system. I was unable or unwilling to pursue the matter till I got my refund so I simply uninstalled the program and installed the new program and have not had any difficulties since then.

I've been using Webroot going on six years now after it was recommended to me by a friend who's a software developer. I love this program and would (And have!) recommended it to friends and family. I have not found an option within Webroot to add my android cellphone for online protection. It now appears that my phone has been hacked as it was doing random things and now I am unable to even use my phone! Thanks for nothing, webroot!

I've used it for years and have never seemed to have issues with protection. However there is an issue when one purchases a new key code rather than renew. Often you can find the software on sale as being less expensive than the renewal price they force on you. But when you add the new key code the old ones stick around so you end up with a console for every key code you have ever purchased. And unfortunately it seems the customer cannot simply remove the old key codes. I think it's sort of a pain that a customer has to contact Webroot to remove old, useless, expired key codes rather than letting the customer declutter their account on their own of the products they have purchased.

I bought Webroot through their website. I could have paid half as much through Amazon, but I thought I was doing the best thing. They send me a confirmation email with a link and my security code. The link does not work. I called them - after waiting for 30 minutes, they hung up on me. I called again - same thing. I am going to try to get my money back---wish I had bought it on Amazon, then I could!

I have had McAfee before and it is really irritating. I have found Webroot to be very easy to use and understand. My customer service with them is through Geek Squad and has worked extremely well.

Since I started using Webroot I don't have any problems with viruses. I have even installed webroot on my cellphone. When I used other antivirus software I would have to click this or that, do this or that. With webroot it is automatic. Also it does not take up so much space on my computer or cellphone.

Overall would be a 5 if product were more widely recognized and effectiveness was always rated as 100% on all types of threats. Product suite is easy to use but comprehensiveness does make for perception of complexity at first passes.

I received Webroot with my new laptop and really love it. I have received warnings when the site could be infected, this is a real plus. Great value. This will block sites that look like it maybe spyware.

If you go to a lot of questionable sites like I do then I would definitely recommend Webroot to you. Even if you don't go places that you shouldn't be going you need to be using Webroot. I know because I have gone places with my computer that you definitely will not want to be taking yours to. Trust me, it's a great product that does its job!

I have had Webroot since 2007. Simple, Accurate. Any time I had a question, a live person helped me. I bought a new Refurbished Computer & it was acting up & the seller in Canada could not help. A Gentleman Skilled in Computer came to my Computer & Reset & cleared all the problems which the company who refurbished & sold it to me had left behind.

I have been a Webroot customer now for over 5 years. I've found myself in some bad and scary situations and Webroot have never left me down. They always have had my back. I have always be able to reach someone by telephone to put my computer back on track. As far as I'm concerned, Webroot is the best.

Very small footprint. Super easy to install. Extremely fast scans. The best customer support I've ever seen. They will remote in to your computer (at your request) and remove infections and clean them out of the registry and other areas and give you back a clean computer. Very friendly team also. Cost is low too. I am a lifetime customer now.

Here is my experience. The product appears to work as advertised. I check it occasionally and it indicates that it has checked the computer for whatever it's checking for and I haven't had any problems. So it appears to work as it's supposed to which is all a product is supposed to do.

I have had this program in my last two laptops. It installs fast and is up and running as soon as it is done. The renewal process is just as easy as the original install. When there is malware suspected the pop up occurs and can be quarantined quickly. At start up it is running and there is no lag time as I have experienced with other programs and when the program is coming towards its renewal it does not shut you down and prohibits you from signing on until you renew, as another program did to me. The options are easy to operate and quick scans are fast and the price for renewal is within fair market price structure. I will renew again in the 2018 year without any hesitation. Very satisfied with this product.

As an older computer user, with little training, but I do install modded cars and tracks into various racing and truck driving games. With Webroot I feel better about installing these into my computer. I have never had any problems, if I go to a site to get a mod and Webroot tells me there is a problem, I don't go there. It tells me quite clearly if the site is dangerous. Plus my computer runs smooth and quickly, none of that slowdown some similar programs will give you. I have never had a problem, even when I take a look around in porn sites, I feel pretty safe. I have only had one time where I went somewhere like that that triggered an alert, and I left quickly and unscathed. Yeah, I am sure you could get yourself in trouble while using this program but you would have to disable the protection to do it.

I have had Webroot installed on my PC for several years now and have never experienced a problem. My PC has been protected from many potential viruses, spyware and malware programs that have tried to gain entrance into my PC. I have it set to do a daily scan at a predetermined time plus I do frequent other scans manually when I feel I may have been on a website that could have tried to install something not wanted or needed. I personally feel that Webroot is one of the very top, if not the top, antivirus systems on the market today...

Whether you need a lightweight app, or a centralised dashboard, or even executive reports, Webroot provide the tools and the know how to get the job done without wasting time. I really know next to nothing about computers so I asked my son for a good product to keep mine from being attacked. He recommended Webroot and I've been very pleased with the results to date. I've been using Webroot for at least ten years and I've tried others. It's hands down the best on the market. I use it on my laptop, phone & tablet. And have it installed on all my families devices as well. It's always up to date with the latest protection and runs automatically in the back round with minimal battery usage. If you want the best, most up to date, efficient, user friendly security software there is no substitute.

Very fast scans... Takes up little computer space... Password protection and a bonus registry optimizer... Stays current with all the malware. The online support is terrific. I've had other internet security programs in the past and when the last one expired I tried Webroot. I'm going on my third year soon and I plan on renewing.

Have had Webroot for many years and never looked into any other products. I think that says it all. No reason to change. Identifying and removing threats a plus. Regular scans several times a week. Updates regularly a positive action to avoid security breach.

I was helped by a very personable and competent young man a while back. He did resolve my issues plus he did a great deal more to help straighten out my computer. I can't thank him enough!! He was polite, knowledgeable and able to fix "my mess". I am not computer illiterate when it comes to repairing problems... I am quite astute at developing problems.

The best protection just operates behind the scenes until an issue comes up, then gives simple choices on dealing with it & you carry on. I just use mostly default settings and it was easy to set up. I've only had one issue with a threat & it was handled very effectively.

I purchased the first edition of Webroot when it came out. Over the years this software has done an amazing job in protecting several of our computers.and mobile units. Once loaded, you don't even know it's there until it catches an infection attempt. Easy to use and understand. Peace of mind is one of its greatest strengths.

After having problems with several security suites I saw an ad for WEBROOT and after doing some research decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Webroot runs quietly in the background and does not bother you with a lot of popups and approval queries. The scans are the fastest I have experienced and my computer performance is not compromised. The dashboard that controls it is easy to navigate and use. The secure anywhere suite has many useful features including a password manager and 25GB of backup for important documents etc. I relied on the reviews to pick this security suite and I wouldn't recommend it if it hadn't performed as promised and I have no reservations in recommending it to others.

I have been using Webroot for several years now and have been very happy with it. If a site is not safe it will block it so I cannot go on it. It will always ask me if I want to continue on it anyhow, I always say no and it takes me back to safety. It is very reasonable and it works great, that is the most important thing to me.

Easy installation, low impact on performance, solid performance and always running in the background. Will not let you access a website that is suspicious and put a green check mark by the sites that are safe for you to click on.

I have had WEBROOT installed on two of my computers for 8 years and never had a problem with my computers. No viruses whatsoever. I highly recommend WEBROOT. It is automatic. You do not have to do anything. WEBROOT does it all for you.

So far, Webroot has pretty much kept garbage out of my inbox. Every now and then I receive some spam or questionable email, but that's only happened a couple of times.

Our company recently purchased Webroot and several of us installed it onto our work computers and home rigs. The new security has interfered with various software that is used daily. I tried contacting the company and no one has responded. This is frustrating as you would think someone would be available to troubleshoot the product, but apparently, you have to try to source answers on your own with other frustrated end-users. I just want it uninstalled and my rig restored. BTW, do not purchase Norton either. It is useless and troublesome as well.

I've been using WEBROOT for at least 4 years. I started with one computer and now I have two laptops and a tablet that I use it on. I have used other big name programs before, and none of them have done as good of a job as WEBROOT! I would highly recommended this product and I'll keep using it on everything I have.

I like Webroot better than Norton or McAfee that I have used. We paid for Avast and never got to install it. Even call and they just ignored us.

This provider has never failed me and I've recommended it to all my friends. And while the support staff is a bit "techs" they have been very helpful. Price reasonable for product too.

Super efficient and never slows down the computer. But downside is the WRDATA directory which should be megabytes but goes to gigabytes. Have worked with support about 5 times to lower it but still GB. Messed up my LastPass installation and replaced it with their own PW manager without asking. Really angry about this. Their backup software really doesn't work which makes it a dangerous feature. But the anti-virus seems great.

I have been with Webroot about 3 years now for all of the PCs in my house. They have the very best customer service and provide the best protection of all of the antivirus and PC security systems available. I have never had a virus get through Webroot but it did happen with other brands, and when it did the other brands then wanted me to pay again to remove the virus their inferior product let on my PC. Webroot scans are fast and easy and they work. I highly recommend Webroot as the best PC security and anti-virus product available.

I love it for Windows! Small footprint, fast, dependable. Good and responsive support when needed (for false alarm checks for example). Highly recommended for Windows. However the multi-license (5 in my case) also covers my Android phone. There it seems in need of development, there seems to be no real time protection, only possibilities for manual initiated searches. On the other hand that seems to be the case for all Webroots competitors as well!? I wonder who will be the first with a level of protection for the mobile phones that is on par with the protection of Windows?

I acquired Webroot several years ago free with TurboTax and have used it with Windows versions XP, 7 and 10 with no problems. It rates websites from suspicious to safe when using the Yahoo search engine but not DuckduckGo or not recognized by Microsoft Edge. In the past Webroot also has identified malware not recognized by other products according to my tech support person.

I purchased Webroot for my security needs in June 2017 and I must say, I have never been so happy with any other security product ever!! Webroot is absolutely fantastic. It does everything I need and then some. It is quick as can be, does not conflict with anything on my PC or my Android phone. I placed it on my Dad's laptop and cleaned his huge mess up and he too, was and is very impressed, that alone, is something that never happens, with a stuck in his ways, very older "Scottish man"!!!!

I've had Webroot on my computer, and laptop for years. Keeps viruses off my systems. Automatically scans and reports if anything needs attention. Will continue to purchase every year. It's a good price and if you renew early it adds those days to your new subscription.

I have had Webroot for over a year and just added a 2 year extension with an upgrade to Security Complete. I have had no issues since purchasing Webroot, and dropping Panda Security. Webroot has worked great on all my devices.

A couple of reasons why I like this software: 1. Cost for both IMac and Apple laptop is very cost effective. 2. Downloading was simple and easy to complete. 3. With Cox cable, MacAfee was only available for download on certain days, and at a much higher annual cost. 4. The control panel is basic and thorough each time the auto scan is completed, with results feedback.

I have had nothing but great help with this company. I have had several issues in the past and they have fixed them for me every time. I just renewed my subscription with Webroot for another 3 years. If I have an issue I usually can speak to a tech or chat almost immediately and I can understand every word that is said. Love them.

I had my first computer in 1987, a 8088 processor running Dos 3.0. I go to computer shows and have built several computers from the ground up. I have been around the block and then some. I have used every security package out there over the past 30 years. NOTHING compares with Webroot, period. McAfee and Symantec are bloatware. Kaspersky somewhat better. For a while I liked ESET but some recent test results bothered me.

I had to reinstall Windows 10 cause my pc was messed up due to a generator I guess. Anyway it sent me on a long trip of headaches cause it wiped everything off my computer. Well Webroot stuck by me and they finally helped me get it back but Best Buy I will never use them or shop at Best Buy again AFTER THE TROUBLE THEY GAVE ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH WEBROOT! YOU GUYS ROCK!

They advertise protection for up to 5 devices including iOS/Apple products. But it's a scam. Apple does not allow third party virus protection. It has that already built in its products. What Webroot offers Apple products is sync and back up (which you already get with iCloud or Google for free) and secure web browser which is also free in App Store. It's a big scam. Do not buy this product under any circumstances... Their reviews are paid for by a company that charges to get positive reviews... When I called for a refund I was prompted to email refund@webroot.com. Or something like that which lets an automated system refund my money. I guess too many people want a refund they can't afford live operators to handle all the complaints. Cheers. Call a computer fix company and get their advice on spyware. But DO NOT BUY THIS. IT'S FRAUD.

I purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere in June 2016. Having used other Internet Security Suites by other companies, (Kaspersky, and Trend Micro), I found nothing wrong with either, with the exception of constant 'upsell' reminders. When the Geek Squad representative asked me to consider trying Webroot, I thought, "Why not, they all serve the same purpose!" Well, not only did Webroot prove to be simple and straightforward, they also proved to be 'no pressure' by not immediately trying to offer improved versions or extensions. They simply stated that my subscription is good through a certain date and they keep me informed of my status and steer me away from potential malware sites. I love the simplicity and straight honest delivery of what's promised. I will continue as a Webroot customer and recommend them whenever asked. Thank you so much for delivering, as promised, security for my computers.
