I've had my LG for almost two years now. Since my economic status has changed so has my phone and plan. Meaning this phone is an embarrassment to phones. I have never been able to watch a YouTube video, it just streams and streams. Also since a recent update my google map and gps don't work.

I had my LG G2 sitting on the table overnight. Check the phone in the morning and there was a crack on my screen. No one touched it. It wasn't in the sun or the heat or the cold. How does a screen crack for no reason... I haven't even started paying on the phone yet and no one will fix it.

I've called two times because 2 phones that I purchased on May 8th 2014 after installing the 4.4.2 update GPS doesn't function. First time I called they told me I could send my phone to the repair department and try to fix the problem. I told them I could not go with my cell phone as I am disabled and rely on my cell phone. They told me that they don't send out a replacement phone until they try and fix this phone. So I would have to go without a phone for as long as they take to be shipped there and try to fix it. Meanwhile I was waiting on hold for over 56 minutes for them to look up information then this is the news I get. And this is before I knew the second phone my son has the same issue. Then a week later I called them again to tell them that my son's phone purchased same day and updated the same day is having same problem. So I told them to see if other people are having issues as well.
The people I've talked to both times have not spoken good English and sound like they are just reading from a screen and not really listening to me. She told me that there have been other issues reported but wouldn't give me any specific information on those issue like I wanted to know seeing how at&t are sending me a replacement phone and I'm hoping I don't have the same issue. I've dealt with other manufacturer companies like Samsung and they have actually sent me a replacement and allowed me to send in the damaged phone after I get new one so I don't have to go without it.
I'm very annoyed and frustrated with Lg and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. So basically Lg did absolutely nothing to try to help me and I felt like trying to get any kind of information from them about my product was like pulling teeth and never did get info I was looking for. Very unsatisfied. I will never own another Lg product after knowing how they deal with, I mean, really don't deal with consumers like myself that spend a lot of money on the product.

I originally contacted LG in February this year about my LG Optimus 4X HD (P880) to arrange a repair as it was turning itself off and crashing randomly. It was sent to their repair agent 3 times and then to the customer service department directly. When they sent my phone back from customer services, they sent another customer's phone to me. Now nearly 5 months on from the initial date of contact I am still with a phone that is not fit for purpose and LG are still trying to get out of refunding or replacing my handset by finding totally non plausible reasons for why it wont do what its supposed to. Their advisors are rude and constantly talk over the top of me and they take every opportunity to get out of calling me back when I ask them to and this has led to me spending almost 20 in 4 months just trying to get them to resolve the issue.
The phone is still in warranty and they have offered me a new handset, but when it came to organizing it I was told that head office said I should try checking the network coverage in my area to make sure it wasn't a signal issue. I have lived at my current address for nearly 16 years and have never had an issue with my network provider. So I know for a fact that it isn't that is causing the problems with my phone. I am at a dead end with LG and really don't know what to do anymore. I just want a phone that works and until they provide me with a refund or replacement I am in no financial position to be able to get another phone. They just don't seem to care and I am so fed up of chasing round in circles to try and get a resolution.

If I haven't read this reviews, I would still think that my LG P715 phone has hope. It has very low signal reception especially on SMART/TALK&TEXT mobile network. It works on globe but compare to other phone, it is still non receptive to mobile networks unless you are near a transmitter. I have tried inserting the same sim to another brand of mobile phone and it is working well. It is very annoying and it affects my daily chores especially in my line of work. I THOUGHT, LG STANDS FOR LIFE IS GOOD BUT IT IS A BLUNDER WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR PRODUCT. Well, the camera is good so, that's the only compliment I got.

I bought the LG OPTIMUS only 4 weeks ago, it malfunctioned the second week, now it doesn't work at all! The worst phone ever, this phone was about $250. It never kept the write time, I couldn't send text, then I couldn't make calls. It would un-check all the settings I had set.
I am now waiting for a replacement. In the meantime, I haven't had a phone in 3 days. I will never buy this brand again. I had a Samsung for over 3 yrs, never had a problem. I figured I would try this LG, big mistake. Since the Samsung galaxy is over $500, it's not something I can afford now. So, I'll be stuck with the replacement that's being sent to me, which I'm now sure won't work right either. Companies just don't have any respect for their customers anymore.

I bought Nexus 5, about 50 days ago from Google play store online. Three days later, I accidentally dropped the phone from only two feet high (it fell off from my t-shirt's pocket when I pick up something) but the screen glass shattered. I called Google to explain them, the Google representative transfer phone to LG company. They charged $170 to replace the screen and I received the phone two weeks later. The phone is not receiving signal from T-Mobile sometimes received one or two bar of low signal but that was E or H signal which is very slow, not even 3G, 4G nor LTE. I did not get any signals indoor at all.
I called LG service again to explain, they told me to return the phone again to their service center with provided return label which was not overnight service. It was Fedex ground service. I have to wait another two weeks to received my cellphone back. Two weeks later, I received phone back from LG but it was same condition. It seems they did not even looked at it. It did not received any strong or fast signal from T-Mobile. I called LG again, they told me same thing like two weeks ago. "Send it back to LG". I bought Nexus 5. I used it for three days, I could not used my phone for more than a month now. LG seems not to care. They will send me another ground shipping label to send it back; I have to wait another two weeks. I will never buy LG product again. It broke very easily and their service is very bad.

I contacted LG customer service numerous times via email chat and phone to find out what was going on with my phone. Every time I check the RA number they gave me to use, it stated waiting on customer to ship unit.
On 3/3/14 after no one getting back to me, I called again and spoke with Kimberly, another representative who stated she would fast track it to a supervisor and get back to me in 72 hours. She called me back in 30 minutes and stated they received an empty package. I have to follow up with Postal Service. I have been calling them every day for a replacement phone. I also have emailed the VP of communications John Taylor. I spoke with a MC manager Alisha in Alabama who states there is nothing they can do the package was empty. I shipped to one state and she works in another. How does she know someone did not remove the phone and tell the package was empty. They never try to contact me, I always contacted them. Ok, I get that this is not the best cell phone on the market. That being said, I would expect the phone to last longer than a few months. This is a slide phone, and it disconnected at the slide. First one place, and then by the end of the day the phone was in two pieces. LG refused to fix it, saying that the phone was damaged. How? By lying on the table. My daughter didn't drop or damage it in any way, it just simply fell apart. Now we are stuck with it because we refuse to ship it back to them so their technicians can decide if it's a manufacturer's defect or not. I already know what their answer is. LG-Lousy Garbage. Never again.

LG Phones need to get their act together on fixing the solutions to their phones and as well as Verizon's REFURBISHED contracts. LG Intuition phones and all other LG phones has major issues - battery doesn't hold & doesn't connect to 4G network. They're not even looking for a solution to fix the phones. Now the phones are FREE! Any phone you see in the Verizon Store marked "FREE" stay CLEAR! Buyers beware! Those phones have major bugs and issues and can't seem to fix the problem. What kills me is that you buy a new phone from a Verizon store & you pay for insurance on top of everything else, and when the phone goes bad in a matter of weeks, you get a REFURBISHED Like New (someone else's headache).
While you paid for that brand new phone which by the way is under a two-year warranty contract from the company, Verizon ships you someone's else phone that had been worked on and you get their headaches in return. REFURBISHED HEADACHE! You get your Refurbished phone activated only to find more flaws, and bug issues with someone else's phones. I've gone through 5 "Refurbished Like New Phones" and still can't find a phone that works. Verizon refuses to budge on a new phone even though they're so called "FREE" or to accommodate on the issue. Their protocol is "We'll ship this one out since it's not working and send you a 'REFURBISHED LIKE NEW PHONE'!" How many phones does a person need to go through before one works? Well, I'll accommodate to the issue. Goodbye, LG and Verizon!!!

Purchased LG Model 970 from Sprint. Phone was less than 3mo old when phone heated up during a video when a phone call came in. That had never happened at the same time since ownership. Within 5sec of returning to the video after the call, the phone heated up and cracked glass in center in upward spiraling pattern from the center. Thank God I was wearing glasses because I picked out a sliver of glass out of my forehead right above the bridge of my glasses. Call Sprint immediately. Was told to go to the service center. Went to service center by my home. Spent 1.5 hrs there because they bounced me back and forth to whose problem it was. The final conclusion was I had damage to the phone at that it was LG's problem. Well duh…My phone just blew up. Even melted the case it was in.
So at my expense I sent the phone back to LG. Packaged it properly. Their operators were very condescending and not real helpful. Wrote the authorization number all over (maybe 8 times) it as well as 2 contact numbers. Even included a personalize note of exactly what had happened. @ July 16th, I sent phone back to LG. On Aug 3 the phone was returned to me more damaged than when I sent it with a note that said no customer response. They even kept the melted case. I took pictures before I sent the phone again Thank god.
So I call LG again to ask when they called me? They said July 24 one time and left no message. One time? Never did LG ever leave me a message anywhere at any time. I would have call them back. I live on my phone. So I check my phone records. Sure enough no call from LG any place anywhere...So I am now left with a burned out phone, having to call them back because no supervisors work on the weekends and probably having to send my phone back at my expense again. I will never buy an LG phone again. Oh and this the 1st time I have ever written a review due a bad product and bad customer service and I’m 52 yrs old. Always felt life was too short until now.

I still don't have a phone after nearly a year, and it is the end of May 2013 already. Last summer, in July of 2012, I purchased an LG Connect 4G Smartphone, and the battery would only last about 15-20 minutes. I followed the initial charging instructions that came with the phone to the letter, i.e. I charged it overnight to fully charge the battery before using it. I was able to have a 13 minute phone call the next day before the battery died. I charged it up again, and then I got a 15 minute phone call before it died. The following weekend, 8 days later, I took it back to the Metro PCS where I bought it. They said I was past my 7 day period, so there’s nothing they could do. I took it back 2 more times to get a refund. Again, they said, "No, you're past 7 days. You need to go to the service center (nearly an hour away).” So, I go there.
I drive it to the LG Service Center, and they have me standing in line for 2.5 hours. I'm trying to be civil because they left me sitting behind a display and took other people first. I am handicapped, so they told me where to sit. At the counter, they are quite condescending and telling me that I bought a bad phone; they can't undo all the apps from the factory, and it drains the battery. So, now it's my fault that I bought a crummy phone. The box says it should have 4 hours of talk time and over 200 hours of standby time. In their own records, it only shows 28 minutes were used after numerous proper battery charging.
So, there is false advertising about how long the battery will last due to battery drainage from their factory installed apps. They wanted to see the battery discharge rate. They tell me to stay there for 4 hours while it charges so they can watch it drain. I asked if I can leave it there and they said no; they can't be responsible for it. I left totally disgusted. Then, I began a campaign where I contacted LG directly. I got a total runaround with rather condescending emails. I have tried everything they told me to do, with no results. Now, they wrote me and said this is taking so long. They will just send me a new battery. But, that hasn't arrived.
Besides, according to their service center, that won't fix the problem anyway. I did everything they told me, but now the phone is nearly a year old. I've spent $380 on 28 minutes of phone calls. This can't be the way a consumer should be treated. I have been investigating what it will take to sue the company in our Small Claims or our local District Court. The complaint would have to include claims of unfit for merchantability and fitness of purpose, false advertising, and consumer protection claims; along with other counts. Are there other people that would like to sue LG?

My LG Revolution phone continues to have the incorrect time. I have exchanged it for a new one four times now (and many hours later). Each time, the same problem occurred. Nobody could figure it out and when I finally said I wanted a different kind of phone, Verizon referred me to LG, the manufacturer. Some automation on the phone repeatedly told me that they would not replace it despite the fact that there is obviously a defect and they can't fix it. In essence, they do not stand by their products and I would urge you not to purchase an LG product given this. I am now stuck with a phone that continually has the wrong time and the frustration of knowing I gave my money to a corporation that does not stand by their product or treat their customers right.

It does not really matter what I try to download. I know that Facebook stays on the phone and will not move to the SD card, but Adobe Reader can be moved but does not. I also downloaded an anti-theft app and the SA weather app. All these apps were downloaded into the system memory (bottom of the storage page), which is only 157MB left after all the system tools and apps that come loaded on the phone. I believe they should download in to the internal memory (top of the page 1GB) by default, but they do not. After about five apps, the phone will not accept any more or even send an SMS as it says the phone's memory is full.
If the apps were downloaded into the internal memory, then there is enough room there to accept probably about 40 to 50 apps. As you are aware, these are quite small files. When I download an app, the menu below the apps asks me if I want to download it to the SD card. When I press it, it asks for permission to do so. I then give it permission but it still downloads in to the system memory. If I go to Locations and Security, it gives me an option there to install from SD card and again, it asks for permission to do so. I have given it permission but the apps continue to download in to the system memory. If I go to Manage Applications, I open the app and there it is. I have the option to move to phone, but this is not lit up on any of the apps downloaded except for Adobe.
This is, as I said, the second phone I have had that has this problem. I also read a review on the E400 and in one of the reviews, the reviewer complained of the small amount of apps (max 5 he said) the phone would download. He obviously was having the same problem I am having, but had not spotted the 1GB of space available on the internal memory. Hope this helps as I like the phone, but would certainly like to have more than just 5 apps available and stare at an empty internal memory or SD card. To have apps downloaded to the system memory without an option seems strange as their space will be severely limited to a miserly five apps at the most. I have also given permission for the apps to be downloaded to the SD card, but still they do not.
Something does not seem right to me that nothing is being downloaded to the internal memory. None of the apps I have directed at the SD card have actually gone there. I use only the LG site or Play Store. I am sure the phone would not sell if the user is only restricted to a limited number of apps. Is there something inherently wrong with the phone?

LG Optimus P500 does not work properly. I am with Koodo. I have been trying to get a phone that works and I have yet to get one that does what they are supposed to. I have to go outside to talk on it, it doesn't ring half the time and goes to voice mail. When I send or try to receive pictures, they won’t download. Even when it is locked, it still dials numbers on its own. Set the time out screen for 2 minutes and while trying to dial a number, it will not stay on. I have gone through at least 4 of these phones and I am currently waiting for the next one to be sent to me (which I am almost 100% sure it will be going back also) - that is if Koodo even wants it back. The last 3 they don't even want returned to them. So what does that tell you? I try to download even from the market and half the time it says "error”.
The consequences are they keep sending me new (at first they were pawning off the “refurbished” phones) but after 2, I told them I will not pay for a phone that already is known for having problem. But I am finding that there isn't a single one, new or refurbished, that will work as it is intended to. I have been with Koodo since August 2011 and my tab still is $150. I will never, when asked about which cell phone company to buy from, tell them an LG. I like and want to keep my friends too much! I will never buy any LG product again unless I get some satisfaction from this company. I am also going to put this info in any and all publications I can. I bought an LG Optimus V for Virgin Mobile back in January. Never before in my life have I experienced a piece of electronic equipment that can malfunction with such regularity; it's just expected. Freezes started to occur within 2 days of purchasing the phone. The gallery function (used to store pics and other media) is a joke. Sometimes it works; sometimes it gives you a blank screen; sometimes it does nothing at all. Functions seem to have a mind of their own. This smartphone (it really shouldn't qualify to be called that) would be awesome if I could just go one day without having a freeze occur that requires restarting (rebooting) the phone and losing whatever webpages you had opened, emails, etc. It is a hell of an inconvenience.
Some days I have to restart multiple times. This seems to be the cure all for this phone. Something doesn't work as it should? Turn it off, turn it back on. The phone freezes and won't do anything? Take the rear cover off, remove the battery, replace the battery, turn back on and voila! Speaking of battery, some days my battery is down below 20% before 1PM after an all night charge. I don't expect excellent battery power with a smartphone, but this one is just absolutely ridiculous. Like watching YouTube videos? Cool. Just don't get too entranced and forget what you're doing. Your battery will go from charged to half, to almost nothing in no time flat.
I don't know what else LG makes, but they should leave cell phones to Motorola, Apple, Samsung and HTC. They don't belong in this segment. People spend good money to own a device to download, store and modulate whatever media they're using or looking at, and this device just isn't consistent with a regular, working smartphone. Again, I would not recommend anyone go out and purchase any LG smartphone on any carrier. I have lost my temper so many times trying to do simple things with this phone. It's not even funny. Simple things as opening a web page, looking at a pic, checking a message, scrolling through something. I use this phone with the understanding that it can and will quit, freeze or crash at any moment. In this day in time when people are disseminating their personal info onto the Wi-Fi waves and networks, it's too risky. I deeply regret having ever laid eyes on this product.

I got a new LG flip phone 2 months ago and noticed after 2 months use that the outer screen no longer showed the time and date, but had a strange design on it. I went by the Verizon store and they said to send it off and I would be issued a replacement. The phone was usable as it was, but since it had a year warranty, I did so.
Verizon told me that this would not be covered by warranty and said that I had "damaged" the phone. This is absolutely untrue as in the 2 months I had the phone, I had never dropped or mishandled it. Supposedly, the outer screen was cracked on the inside. The ouside was perfectly smooth and there were no marks or cracks of any kind.
I requested my old phone back since it was perfectly usable and was told that they could not do that. I was charged $99.00. I have been with Verizon since they were Cellular One and have never had a problem or filed a complaint.
Two things will result from my experience:
1. I will never buy another LG phone again since there is an obvious defect in their product if through normal use the outer screen cracks on the "inside".2. When the time is right, I will no longer be one of Verizon's "valued customers".

The phone continued to freeze and shut off at least ten times that day. I called the LG Company to advise them on what was happening with the cell phone since it did come with a 1-year manufacture warranty. I was asked a bunch of questions, like what I did install on the phone, in which I didn’t have time to install anything. So finally, they gave me the address to send the phone back, in which I had to pay for postage. It cost me $10.
I did not send the phone back until Oct 28, 2011 due to the fact I would be out a phone. So, my friend allowed me to use her phone then I sent it back to the company. It was returned to me on November 1, 2011. As soon as I got the phone, I turned it on, went straight to the internet, and started browsing. Within a minute, the phone froze and shut off. I called this company again. Obviously, I was very upset. I refused to pay for postage to once again send this phone back with the same issues, so they agreed to pay for postage.
I sent it back for the second time on November 10, 2011 and received the phone back on November 29, 2011. The same thing happened as soon as I turned it on and started browsing the internet. The same thing happened within minutes. The phone froze and turned off. I am not sure who is looking at this phone and why they can’t figure it out. All I want is a working phone or my money back. I have asked for my money back. They refused and told me to go to the store where I bought it, which I don’t understand because it’s their defective product. I have now been almost 3 months with no phone.

I bought an LG Optimus V. I can't get any 3g service. Many people online are saying that since VM is "piggybacking" off Sprint mobile, Sprint is giving priority to their "high end-high dollar" contracts, rather than "low-end" pre-payers. Also, VM is the provider to these new free 250 minutes a month cell phones via Life Line. Since this British owned company was awarded the cellular Life Line contract, the influx has overwhelmed the Brits/Sprint. Never buy a smart phone from these idiots. When I called LG, because Verizon couldn't do anything but give me LG's number, they told me it could take up to 6-8 weeks to inspect the phone and would not send a replacement phone for the time being. Then while the phones were down or we were being sent replacement phones, Verizon continued to bill us for the service that we were unable to use. Customer service has been horrific for Verizon and LG. I will never own another LG product intentionally again. No TV's, electronics or anything. I'm very disappointed in Verizon for not backing their customers up with these issues. These phones should have been recalled.

Renewed my contract with Verizon wireless. I purchased a new LG enV touch 11,000 and started having constant problems with it. Verizon said it had to be reprogrammed; still didn't work. Then it had to have a new program put in. It still didn't work. Finally I had to except a reconditioned one. It still does what it wants. One day you have the time showing, next day it’s gone. Today I had a hard time getting it on and when I went into the car the blue tooth and radio didn't work. I took my wireless out and it decided to call someone, so I finally got it to hang up. If you're at this site you will see many people have had the same problems and Verizon doesn't want to help you except give you a reconditioned one so you could have more problems. They should replace it with another brand free of charge, but they want you to upgrade this way all the extras like the case and charger. The car charger you bought is useless. I brought it to my cell phone company who was able to get the screen going again, but had to put a different face plate on it. They told me they ordered a new phone for me just in case the fix didn't stay. Since the only face plate they had available to put on it was all scratched up, I asked if I could get the new phone anyway because I had kept my phone in mint condition. They told me that I could, but that it would be a reconditioned phone. That was all they were able to give me due to LG’s policy.
I emailed LG and explained that the phone was only 2 months old and had been taken very well care of and that a $300 phone should last more than 2 months and I hoped they would stand behind their product and give me a new phone. They explained that they will not and that their warranty states that.
I did not pay for a used phone; I paid for a new phone. If I wanted a used phone I would have bought one on Ebay for $10 instead of paying $150 (on sale) for a brand new phone. They will not give in. So, $150 later, I am going to be stuck with someone else's used junk. My daughter had one of their phones a year or so back and also had nothing but problems with it.

They started turning themselves off and on, and our text messages were not being received. Sometimes, they would shut off in the middle of a conversation.I called Sprint tech support and they tried to run updates but were unsuccessful. They advised me to call LG and submit a warranty claim as we have had the phones less than a year. I called them on the 18th of August. They gave me authorization to mail in one of the phones and after that one was replaced, I would get authorization to mail in the other.
I sent in one phone on the 18th and they claim that they did not receive it until the 21st. They asked me to include my proof of purchase (I sent a copy of my invoice from Sprint showing all three phones on it and a copy of my extended contract with Sprint showing all three phones). They called me on the 26th claiming that I had not sent in a copy of the proof of purchase. I told them I had sent it in and that if they had the phone, they had the paperwork. They proceeded to tell me they were going to charge me $42.00 to fix the phone and that my phone had passed the one-year warranty.
I told them it had not as I had only picked it up on the 13th of September 2008. They were rude and unhelpful. Finally, Armando said he would submit my request for escalation and it would take a day or two for a supervisor to get back with me. I called Sprint and was transferred around until someone named Zach told me I could have LG ship the phone back if they continued to give me the runaround.
Well, LG did not call me back so I called them back and spoke with Michelle on the 28th of August. She also claimed my phone was past the one-year warranty date and that they did not have a proof of purchase. I told her what I had told Armando and she said she would submit my claim for escalation to a supervisor. I told her it had already been done and that a supervisor had not bothered to call me back. I gave them the model number and they told me that I was sold an international phone that did not meet for the US. So I was not covered unless I sent the phone to Europe and called long distance. I told him what the problem was; he said that this was not true, that it was his business and he knew what he did. So I called LG and put them on speaker so the owner could hear.
After he heard that the phone was for international use and not meant for US, he got very rude and loud. He did not let me talk. He said he did not give money back, the sign is on the wall and I can read it. That was not his problem. He offered other cell phones that were from T-Mobile but because I have been a member of T-Mobile, I knew the value was a lot less than what I paid. My cell phone was getting poor reception. I took it to my local US Cellular dealer. They, in turn, sent it a LGE repair location. The phone was still under warranty. I was informed approximately two weeks later that they had found my problem. The phone had been set (by the manufacturer) incorrectly between two channels instead of on a channel. They then said that they would not fix the problem unless I paid them to fix corrosion on the phone, which by their own admission had no bearing on my reception problem. I told them to forget about the corrosion and just fix the channel. They refused unless I paid the fee to fix the corrosion.
We ended up asking for the phone back AS IS. They never fixed the reception problem, that resulted from the phone being defective in the first place. It is my belief that they were extorting a fee from me in order to receive my phone back in working order. It is also of note that the warranty on the phone expired the day after I brought the phone in for repair. I talked to a customer service rep, and I use that term lightly, and it was of no use. I asked to speak to a supervisor, which was also of no use. The phone has been well-taken care of and stored according to manufacturer direction. (Normal usage by only one adult)
I now have a phone with very limited use through no fault of my own. By their own admission, the phone had been programmed WRONG! They have an obligation to fix it at no cost to me.

The LCD screen on my phone cracked for no apparent reason within the first 45 days of use. LG denies any responsibilty for the shoddy design of this product, and offered no satisfactory remedy.
Since cell phone purchases are bound to long term cell phone service contracts, the remedies offered for repair or replacement are very expensive, and much higher than the original price paid for phone.
