I bought an LG phone. My daughter put the phone on the ground at an angle and it cracked. However, the phone still worked. About 2 months later LG required that I download an update. The update shut down my phone and would not let it work. When I called the company they were unable to help me over the phone. They asked me to send in the phone and they would fix it. I received an email saying that they were going to charge me $160 to fix the phone. I told them that I just wanted to have the software fixed that they required me to download. They said that they would not be able to do that without fixing the screen and charging me because the warranty had been voided when my daughter cracked the screen. I pointed out that the software was required by them to download and that nobody else could fix the software. They responded that they do not do partial fixes.

I am upset because they are the ones that caused the issue. They put the software issue on Google and said that it was their issue. My question is how can all of these companies fix a car or computer over the internet but LG requires you to send in your phone. Why can they not fix their own operating system? It seems very shady of this company not to stand behind their own products. If I required you to do something shouldn't I stand behind or be required to fix the problem if one was created. LG does not stand by their own products and blames Google for their software issues. How can you trust a company like that? I can't. I would highly recommend not buying an LG phone. That is something that I feel I can stand behind.

I felt uneasy. Send phone off. Got a call claim. It was not under warranty and claim they done diagnostic. Charge me 20.00. I never sign form. Few days later got another call. 145. How can LG break laws. I told them if warranty did not cover it ship it back. They are try keep my phone. I paid for phone as well. I never sign anything as far as diganose. They claim they did not know what wrong with phone. What they do is they take phone. Refurb it and sell it illegal. Need is class action lawsuit and keep report them to Federal Trade Commission as well.

Horrible customer service - purchased V20 in April 2017. By Feb 2018 the phone was not charging properly. Phone got replaced under warranty at that time. Now, Aug 2018 battery is not holding a charge again. Verizon states I need to go through LG to get battery replaced. Spoke with LG today, after rounds of going back and forth (they claimed that my year warranty only applied to original purchase - April 2017 therefore my warranty replacement which is 6 months old does not qualify for warranty battery replacement) supervisor then agrees to replace the battery under warranty.

But wait I have to send my entire phone into LG to get battery replaced and that will take 2 weeks!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to replace a cell phone battery. I even offered to pay for the battery to get a new one until my old battery was deemed under "warranty". $ 700 + phone 16 months old - replaced once already. Now another issue in that same time frame. I will never buy any LG product ever again!!

I got the LG G6 (H871) phone through AT&T. It had a one year warranty. The phone lives in my left front pocket. On the 13th month I started getting a "Moisture detected at USB" message. This kept alarming and would not let me charge the phone. The phone has not been in water, maybe some sweat for when I was working around the yard. I found nothing on LG website and AT&T says LG does not work on the phones if they are water damaged. (It isn't water damaged, the phone just says it is.) AT&T tried a total reboot and load. Same problem. AT&T says I will have to buy a new phone. My opinion is that there should be a switch to shut the feature off if it is going to be that unreliable. This was my first LG phone, probably will be my last. I had great cellphones in the past, Nokia, Motorola, even the darn Windows phone lasted longer w/only minor problems. Not being able to charge my phone is a major problem.

I purchased an LG Fiesta smartphone from Walmart back in mid-March of 2018. It was very reasonably priced and it said T-Mobile on the box. The warranty is for 1 year and written by LG. Unbeknownst to me they assign their warranty to other companies like TracFone who are offshore businesses. I had a problem with the USB cable not the phone. When I submitted a report for warranty both LG and TracFone said the other was responsible for the USB cable.

TracFone doesn't even carry the USB cable or know what the part number is. TracFone is a Philippines owned company and that's where their help desk is located so you don't get anybody who can speak English properly or understand as far as what the problem is. I told him that a problem with Walmart Family Mobile up until now when they transferred me from being billed by T-Mobile to being billed by TracFone even though T-Mobile is the cell phone Communications carrier. If you want a real run around as far as getting Satisfaction by a LG phone you will be very disappointed. Again this has nothing to do with the product. It has to do with the warranty and the lack of physical and corporate responsibility to the consumer. Remember LG is a Korean-based company not in the United States.

I have a Nexus 5X (made by LG). I have a bootloader issue. I bought the phone on eBay. They refuse to fix the phone because it was bought on eBay. LG is responsible for this problem, and they do not want to solve it. I will NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE buy an LG product... And I will tell every friend and family to not buy anything from LG. I am not surprised the average is one star. It would be 0 if it was allowed. Don't ever buy an LG device. They are not the best at anything. A big mediocre company.

While my LG phone was charging sitting on my chair like any other day, Jordan was climbing to get balloons she was playing with and started screaming and crying in pain. While myself and my friend was trying to figure out why he had grabbed the phone to move it amidst a crying 3 yr old so it didn't fall and he was also burned but not anywhere close to the severity of Jordan's burns. Charger port melted. I never would have thought it could happen to me or my family. You hear of these cases happening rarely but watch out for these electronic especially LG. I loved my LG but after this experience I will never buy another LG product again. My poor baby was severely burned and traumatized to even want to hold one of her favorite things to play with and steal from mommy.

I have emailed LG directly and my carrier is Boost. LG sent an automated response back wanting more info so we will see what happens. EDIT TO ADD. It was the original LG charger that came with the phone when purchased. I also have 2 other lines belonging to my grandmother and my oldest daughter (10 yrs) on my account of the exact same phone and recently they had been experiencing higher temperatures while charging but didn't think anything of it at the time.

Have had three LG "Smart" Phones starting with the V10 which I chose after switching to T-Mobile and finding that the store I was in at the time didn't have any Google Nexus phones in stock (V10 was closest to a Nexus they had). I liked the V10 and was going to keep it until the dreaded boot loop glitch killed it. Wanted the V20 at that point, but wasn't going to pay 800 plus bucks for a V20 (no phone is worth that kind of loot in my book period), so opted for the G5. From the get go, noticed that the phone got VERY hot and battery life was basically not sustainable. With the G5, I experienced pretty much all of the complaints documented in this review blog about LG phones, overheating, poor performance, screen freezing, etc., and basically it got SO bad that I went to T-Mobile to find a way out of it as it was basically unreliable. I mean, wants to pay for a "premium phone" with a premium service and not get what they paid for?

T-Mobile was gracious enough to work with me (Verizon wouldn't work with me on such matters, hence my switch to T-Mobile) and by this time, the price of the V20 was much more reasonable, so I got it. Was very pleased with the phone at first and honestly, had no issue until after a couple of OTA updates were installed and BAAAM! The V20 began acting like its little sibling, the G5! WTF says I!!

Me being a techie guy who has rooted Android phones before, but was trying REAL hard NOT to root the V20, decided it was time to root the phone so I could at least install Greenify to kill any runaway processes automatically when a factory reset or two didn't do the trick. Well, it turns out the current firmware version of my V20, 10t, is not conducive to current rooting exploits and a flash to an older KDZ is needed therefore. As I was concerned about "bricking" my phone, thus having no phone at all, I opted not to do that (but I did unlock the boot loader in the process).

So with rooting the phone with its stock OS was not an option, decided to try LineageOS (the successor to CyanogenMod) which WOULD give me root access in the process and upgrade the phone to Android Oreo. Nope! Not happening as LG has disabled the flash command on the V20 and to get it back would require downgrading the KDZ which I was trying to avoid for fear of bricking the phone. At this point I decided my best course of action was to live with the POS until early next year and then upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S whatever and have done with it.

But wait, there's more! Did some further research on LG "Smart" Phone overheating issues and on the XDA Developers BLOG happened upon a post by a very competent fellow who simply stated, "Remove the FaceBook app and FB Messenger and simply use Chrome to access FaceBook and you'll be fine". Knowing that the FB app at best is "buggy" and that it has been responsible for many an issue on mobile devices, I took the gents advice and VOILA!! The V20 has been WELL behaved since doing so and the battery life has become quite acceptable for such a large device.

Am still going to switch to Samsung next year as I've read repeatedly that LG does not stand behind their Smart Phones and will even charge a customer 20 bucks to have the "paperweight" shipped back to said customer, which I find NOT COOL. Also, I have quite a few family members, friends and associates that have Samsungs and they love them, so there ya go! Bottom line, late model LG Smart Phones are ALLERGIC to FaceBook!

I had 3 LG Stylo 2 phones in the span of 2 years. They are cheap (good for my budget) but they suck. They over heat fast, battery drains fast and charges slow (I always thought it was because I bought bad wires) and the keyboard freezes up all the time. Not to mention out of all Android phones I ever had for some reason LG is highly susceptible to viruses and malware. I decided to look at the iPhones since my cousin uses them exclusively and found for my needs it is better than any Android out there. But do research for yourself.

Same issue as another review. My LG G5 went into a bootloop. I contacted LG and they said they could fix it. If I changed my mind then the diagnostic fee is 19.95 plus tax. I sent my phone in and then they claimed that there was physical damage and that the phone doesn't qualify for warranty service, both of which I doubt. They never offered to repair the phone for any price, nor did they diagnosis what needs to be repaired, or if it can be repaired.

My two options are to give them the phone, or pay $20.00 to have them mail a useless phone back to me; without me learning anything more than when I sent it in. As far as I can tell they aren't going to fix it, or they can't fix it. (Great Repair Service.) It seems to me to be almost like a scam. They don't provide any real service, they don't provide any specific information as to what the problem with the phone is, and then they take your property when you don't want to pay them for doing nothing. This is the last LG product I will ever buy.

Just today (3.17.18) it has locked up 4 times and I had to take the battery out each time to make the phone work. BUT... I called LG and told them that the water damage indicator was white, they said the water came in through a side button. I accused them of lying and they said they would send pictures of the water damage. I asked them how come the Sprint tech and 2 independent techs said nothing about water damage. They told me they did not know where to look. Apparently water damage is the go to answer they give the customer when they have a software issue. Bad business. Bad company. LG satans for lies good.

I explained the phone is too hot. I am afraid it will blow up. They just wanted to replace it. I had to go out of town so I just kept it. Another phone was ordered but I was not in town to pick up. Jan.2018, I am in the same spot. The phone is just pure garbage. Frustration is not the word and I have to rely on GPS as I am new to the city. The screen changes when the wind blows. This time I am stuck with getting another phone with the possibility of paying an additional 175.00. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau as I feel I have been sold a defective product and only choice is to replace with a refurbished defective product. Don’t buy this garbage. The reconditioned phone is bowed - curving screen side out. I can set it face down on a flat surface and spin it. Battery is bowed and also spins on flat surface. Straight Talk is sending new battery. Straight Talk requires that you ship your phone in before they send you a replacement which is a used reconditioned phone. That means at least two weeks without phone service and lost data - again. Both LG and Straight Talk are problematic. Are there recalls on LG58VL? I have contacted the LG warranty department (Boost Mobile) in regards to my LG Stylo 3 cellphone overheating in addition to blackouts and severe screen freezes. I had this phone for less than a year. The agent asked if my Data Usage and WiFi is on together in which makes no sense. Those two operations are mostly required for function of your cellphone nor should it cause overheating. There has been no notification from the phone indicating that the memory is full or too much data usage.

She threw random reasons to me in question form. The operator proceeds to offer that the phone be sent in for repair (of the unknown). How do you fix something that you do not know what the problem is? It will take two weeks after receiving the cellphone before it will be returned. I am one of the few that need their phone for work purposes as mentioned to the rep. and stated that I will need a loan phone. Loan phones are not offered and I will need to go to a service center as per the rep.

In rebuttal I stated that an approval will still be needed by the warranty office and the rep. said they cannot do that. There was no diagnostics ran for the phone, no history check for defects or common complaints. I even inquired if the phone was refurbished which should have been an automatic check by the rep. LG provides no accommodations nor empathy for their customers. There is no practice of customer satisfaction modeled. This is very displeasing.

Then the other day the phone refused to turn on and after some time I realized the battery was hot. Six months and already broken I was pissed but figured I would buy a new battery.

The company that sold me the phone didn't have a battery nor any other store. Once again in need of a phone and still not having much money the lady told me the Aristo was now $10 cheaper and so I bought another. Day two of this new phone it's super slow, keeps freezing, keeps turning off, and dies even if it's charged. This company is selling low income people cheap phones and getting the money back by creating problems that is not covered in their warranties or selling products that you cannot get parts for unless you mail it in and then they hold hostage 'til you pay a fee. I bought my LG Stylo 3 Plus in August of 2017. Within a week, I discovered that the flashlight on my phone gets far too hot and it will burn my skin if it's left on or turns on randomly as it sometimes does. I have burned myself multiple times because your phone physically harming you isn't what comes to mind when you actually use it. I have lots of small circular scars, same size as the led light on the phone. I contacted LG fairly quickly after learning this happens because I have small children and I need to get rid of this phone obviously. I called and when someone got back to me, it was to tell me to mail in my phone and then they'd send it back as soon as they received it.

Well for 1, this leaves me without a phone and I am on call at work for a good portion of the time. For 2, I don't want another LG phone! This is my first experience with LG phones and it's not great. They didn't contact me back for months and that was because I sent angry emails. I have wanted communication. I wouldn't be submitting this review if they actually cared about their customer. Most recently I was calling everyday for over a week, just to find out the status and to get someone to call me. It seriously took them over a week (probably closer to 2) to ONLY EMAIL me. Still no phone call of course. They basically told me I'll get an LG phone back after I mail this one and they will review what I think I should have after testing the phone.

I've been told this since the beginning but they just don't care that I'll be without a phone and possibly lose my day job due to their procedures. They literally can't bend rules at all whatsoever. It's not enough that I lost my contract with a prestigious photographer to shoot for free in exchange for my portfolio. Portfolios are expensive. I lost out on a great opportunity because of scarring from this asinine company, that creates dangerous devices and would rather let people get hurt than to have to spend a few bucks more than they deem necessary. I emailed about getting in trouble with my job having to wait for a terrible replacement. Guess who contacted me back right away? Definitely not LG! I have had several LG phones and can tell you that they are ALL junk! They have all had multiple issues and no matter how much you upgrade the same problems come up over and over again. They also all seem to die at around the one year mark. I have heard others with the same problems no matter how expensive the model they bought. They have multiple problems that drive you nuts and then at about a year they have a catastrophic failure and die! The batteries charge SLOWLY and discharge fast. The screen shrinks for no reason then goes back.

You’re on Google it clicks back to the home screen, repeatedly. It's like having a gremlin inside of your phone. The older the phone gets the worse it gets until ultimately it dies! But not before it drives you crazy. It's just one thing after another and then you are FORCED to buy a new one. Right now no one can hear me when I make calls but then sometimes they can and now the voice typing won't work. So I know it's going to die soon. Please don't buy one of these worthless pieces of junk! Not if you value your mental health. Trust me I know.

I have been with AT&T for more than close to 20 years, enjoy the iPhone and I'm used to them but recently had to get an LG Phoenix due to financial reasons knowing that it would be temporary hopefully. I bought one that was around 50 bucks on their month by month option. The first one I bought lasted eight hours after being activated. I dropped it maybe 2 inches from the asphalt barely had no idea I'd be cracks at all. I was getting a ride finally from Uber cuzI was stuck in you know. You can't call over without your cell phone and it was not only cracked like it had been run over the screen but the whole phone was broken and the button on the bottom was extremely hot to the touch. So I just pulled the battery out before caught on fire... who knows.

I went down there at the next day. I said how come my iPhone that I had you know this so beat up looking holes in crashed my bike (but also knew this battery was going to die soon on this phone and I was going to have to get a new one) but it still work. The LG broke after 8 hours after activated. Barely hit the ground and cracked and broke. Doesn't work at all. What's the deal. My hands are tied though. I need a cell phone and wasn't going to buy the $20 version of this thing and like I said knowing hopefully this phone is temporary and I get another one in a month something better and went ahead with it and got another LG same model and I have never encountered so many issues of being ask to do things by Google employees in my life. Their banners pop up everyday telling me to fix this fix that.

Some apps recognize my emails. Google has some sort of bad news for me everyday usually related to my email account. One day they wanted me to change my password again which I already had for them. They kept telling me to do this 10 times one day. I did finally that same day then I noticed an hour later they disabled my account because my password was changed and if I didn't get a hold of them and explain why it was changed it was going to be disabled permanently. I got a hold of them by email the only way I could and said, "You wanted me to do this. What I don't understand." So then finally they put it back up, turn it on or whatever. Most of the time they don't.

One day they kept telling me to change my password for my email 10 times after I've already changed. For the many other times I did change it my account was disabled, my password was changed because I did it for them and if I didn't get a hold of them and explain the reason they would not have it turn back on at all which is ludicrous to me. I did not get it. Never heard of that. My point is everyday there is some sort of issue with this phone. The text I can't hear it when I'm actually getting a text but it makes texting sounds when nobody's trying to get ahold of me. The email is a joke and now this is been two weeks after I got the second phone what do you think last night I dropped this phone or slid on a bench the screen is cracked but I don't know why it didn't actually break. The whole phone is still working but I advise anybody do not buy this phone unless you like to be frustrated or you have no other option.

I've never encountered a phone that had so many weird problems everyday so I'm going to have to go down there again tomorrow due to the fact of the phone being cracked and also reading on this site about other people with the same issues and people around town. I heard a couple I ran into have the same cracked screen issue so I'm not the only one. Oh yeah and I also don't understand why customer service at AT&T is excellent when I have my iPhones there. They're knowledgeable, know how to fix things right away. Since I this LG phone it the customer service at AT&T same store/company etc they're Rude, mean, say everything's fine and if they do help me fix something and will take an hour or two literally. And as soon as I hang up the problem comes back. I don't get it I don't.

I would only buy his phone if you extremely had to. I've had phones from gas stations in the past that are 50% better probably more than that so beware. Hopefully my review is understandable. I'm speaking into the phone. I cannot type into it since the screen is cracked. I cannot see really what the word you're saying. Hopefully everybody gets the gist of it. Do not buy this phone unless extremely necessary. It's very fragile and it will only make you want to rip your hair out. Seriously I had high hopes for it but I guess you get what you pay for.

I felt like a hostage in my own country. Well it's been over a Month. I have sent the cell phone back twice as they keep sending me an LG G4 locked to AT&T and not a T-Mobile phone. Today I just received another phone with the AT&T logo and probably locked to them. I am tired of calling to this address in Texas and them not understanding what I am saying. Try as I might I have given LG every break possible yet every single phone I have ever had from them has a very strange thing that always seems to happen. It just dies. The screen cracks through no fault of my own. I can barely afford to replace them. Now this phone situation is with Boost Mobile. In my opinion maybe they're selling inferior phones to Boost and they're passing them up is good phones new phones but the case is not good for them.

I attempted to get a refund back from Boost because of a defective phone Optimus F7 LG and was told I had to contact LG. I sent the phone back to LG. According to their timestamp they had it like 3 or 4 minutes sent it back to me saying the phone was unrepairable. The board was dead. I couldn't believe it so I called the manager their customer service and he basically told me that this phone was a disposable phone. To $300 I put was a disposable phone and they were not going to honor the warranty.

I was Furious I couldn't believe it. So I took it to a reputable cell phone repair technician who looked at it and said that they totally lied that everything they said and showed on that board was a lie and wrong. In fact he called LG to get the part that he needed and they refused to sell it to him. He wouldn't bought three or four different phones to find this one piece for me and actually fixed it. LG warranty services is corrupt deceptive and they should be punished.

After less than 6 months phone was stuck on - could not turn the screen off (or put in lock mode) the volume turns up and down on its own... Per LG I was still in warranty but per LG I would have to send in the phone - be without a phone for 2 weeks. There is no other solution for customer assistance but to send in the phone and be without for weeks. I don't understand who that helps - as a mother of 2 I need a phone and to simply say be without is not an option especially because the phone I bought is defective of no fault of my own.

My GPS went out around 4 months into owning the phone and wasn't sure why, but a quick google search showed many other G5 owners with my same problem. Next to go was the headphone jack. I only get high tones when listening to music, no mids or bass. Next my camera went out. It will not focus and constantly makes the shutter noise while tilting the phone, even when the camera is off. And my final reason for this review is the charging port automatically detects any USB C as RECEIVING POWER FROM MY PHONE. I have to manually go into my settings and set the phone to charge EACH AND EVERY TIME.

So now I cannot enjoy music, take pictures, use my phone for GPS, and it is a nuisance charging my phone. I have contacted LG and Verizon about my issues and LG recommended I send my phone in for 3 weeks without replacement while they fix my GPS. Phone crashed. Verizon instructed me to call LG customer service as this is a known issue. LG does not send a replacement phone. They send a free shipping label, tell you they will repair the phone and send it back to you in an approx. timeline of 2 weeks.

After 2 faulty phones with same issue and being told that they corrected the issue when the second one was sent who would want a 3rd one? I explained that due to security features from my employer that I could not even access my work laptop because it is setup to send my cell a security code that I need to approve to get into my work emails. LG could have cared less, again telling me that all they will do is try to repair it and it be at least 2 weeks before I received my phone back. Still 3 payments left to Verizon's edge plan before this piece of junk is paid for. No offer to send a refurbished phone or even a newer model with no know issues.

Worst cell phone ever and worst customer service ever. LG should have left the phone owners know of the issue and sent refurbished phone or a better model when they discovered these issues more than a year ago. They do not stand behind this phone. Ridiculous to spend $700+ on a phone with known issues and no communication of these issues. No recalls to have the issue corrected either.

About 5 months after that it broke yet again and I sent it in to repair. It got repaired but I'm sure it wasn't totally fixed since it broke yet again about 5 months after that. I resent it in and they claimed they couldn't fix it and it was out of warranty. A phone should not break 3-4 times within a couple years.

The worst part is the lady at AT&T told me that LG knew about their faulty G4 phones yet they didn't do any recalls or send customers new updated phones or offer any rebates. Just continued to let it break and not fix it. Completely unacceptable. I wanted to break away from the iPhone craze which is why I went with LG but definitely going back to Apple. My wife and I were using the original LG Stylo phone. Within the past month, an apparent LG software update caused a failure of the "double-tap" feature to close & open the screen. This failure caused REAL problems. I could not wake the screen to answer an incoming call. I had to press the power button on the back to wake the screen & that would cause the call to be rejected and sent to voice mail. I would then check the call log and quickly call the person back. In addition, the software operating system became more sluggish.

Not being able to improve the matter, and reading blogs about this issue, I purchased the new LG Stylo 2 phones. I put the first one in service about five days ago. The "double-tap" feature work very well, until last night, when the phone started an automatic upgrade from Android 6 to Android 7. Immediately, the double-tap feature quit working. Back to the old problem.

Today, I noticed that for a period of time the double-tap worked. Now my confidence in the phone is sinking even more. Reading blogs from others, there seems to be a lack of qualified service reps capable of actually helping with tech problems, an apparent lack of communications by LG to assure users that they are aware of the problems, and are responding.

I spent some years writing code for control systems. I can assure you that this is a mistake in the coding process. Someone caused the problem in a system-call, sub-routine, or something related, and did not pick up on it. For one, when LG made code modifications to the shortcuts across the top of the screen, they didn't (only my perception - perhaps flawed) fully test to see what other functions were affected. It's probable that similar code blocks utilize calls or routines that are generic to several functions. I hope that someone will listen and pass the word to the software engineers. They don't willingly intend to damage features that distinguish their software features from others. The double-tap feature is valuable, and I'm sure that I'm not alone in wanting to keep it working. Thanks.

So I was advised by my cell phone carrier since the phone was not even 6 months old to call LG because it was clearly a manufacturer defect and they're responsible to fix it. I called LG and they sent me a shipping label, asked for me to send a copy of my receipt proof of purchase of the phone and I sent my phone to them. They 'fixed' it and sent it back to me. Now when they sent me back the phone in June 2016 the phone had the sticker on the back of it missing. At the time I didn't think anything of it. I just assumed this sticker had to come off for the repairs that needed to be done just like they told me I had to take off the tempered glass on the front even though there were not working on the front of the phone. They were working with the back of the phone.

I just thought maybe they had discarded the sticker while in the process of working on my phone. I didn't think this was an issue at the time just as long as my phone worked which it did. Fast forward to May 2017 the LG V10 shut off again and won't completely turn on again. So again I call LG but now I'm angry of course since I sent my phone back already to them not even a year ago. Why has this happened again? Are the parts in the phone no good? Did they even fix it right the first time? LG can't answer these questions. Customer service just says "send back the phone and we'll take care of it" as long as it's not because of water damage or from a fall or physical damage that I did to the phone. If it is internal something like a part manufacturer defect they fix it free of charge always. This is what the rep told me on the phone. I said "ok so I got another shipping label".

The rep says "I have all your information already from last time and from what it seems like what you're describing it's the same issue". I said "yes". So I send back my phone, annoyed yes, since I won't have a phone for 2 weeks since LG has no time management whatsoever. But I was happy to know as long as it was gonna get fixed that the company stood by their products and if they had a faulty part they fixed it. Then a week and a half later I received an email saying they were not gonna fix my phone, that I had to pay for it 380 dollars to fix it because the phone was not in warranty. I called and asked what they were talking about, why it was not covered, why I was told it would be and not it's not. Then I was told because the sticker on the back of the phone had been taken off and that voids the warranty.

At that point I was shocked. First off they were the ones who sent me back the phone in June when I sent my phone the first time without the sticker on and second I was told to begin with that no matter what as long as this was an internal damage a manufacturer part/defect which it is, and not water or physical damage like a break or cracked screen or damage from a fall that this would be covered. I told the customer service rep that I had received the phone without the sticker, that it was taken off back in June 2016 from LG and I was told that I should of called and had it documented. Now I had no idea this sticker was a big deal. They make me take off my tempered glass so why would I think anything about the sticker on the back. The rep then says "our techs would never take that sticker off so it had to have been you".

Now at that point I was pissed. I asked this women if she had proof that they sent this phone back to me with the sticker on and she told me no. I tried to stay calm. I talked to a supervisor and again same thing "our techs would never take the stickers off". I said to her "Listen. Mistakes happen. It makes no sense how I'm taking the tempered glass off the front but you leave the sticker on the back. It's an honest mistake. Mistakes can happen. Can you really sit there and say for certain the techs never take the sticker off?" And she said to me "I can't say that it doesn't happen." So now her story changed but then real quick which I couldn't believe that she said this. She said "but you can't prove our tech took the sticker off just like we can't prove you took the sticker off. Can I help you with anything else today ma'am."

I asked to speak to someone else. 7 different people I spoke to that day and no one would help me. I just wanted my phone fixed and these people could care less. I went as far as to email LG cooperate and ask if they could do an investigation since I felt taken advantage of and treated very unfairly and the customer service I received was horrible and that in June 2016 I was sent back the phone with no sticker and I wanted them to investigate that. I received an email pretty much telling me that their records show my phone was fixed, that there was no record of the tech making note that the sticker had been taken off and that without that sticker they won't fix the phone. Regardless if the issue is the fault of a faulty LG part or not no need for an investigation. Said sorry that my phone was broken and told me to have a nice day.

I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service. Never. It's not even customer service. With customer service they're suppose to help you find a resolution. These people do nothing. I could completely understand if I damaged the phone, if the phone was broken for something I did and they won't fix it. I wouldn't expect them to. But this is a manufacturer defect, a part inside the phone that broke not just once but now twice. Clearly something is wrong with the part and it is a manufacturer defect and they should be liable for it. All I want is for them to do what they promised in the first place and fix the phone. Instead all they want to do is fight with me about a sticker that they took off but won't take responsibility for it and tell me I have no proof that they took it off.

Sticker or not if it is an internal issue they should be responsible to fix it. It is their part that is faulty or they didn't fix it right the first time. This is the worst experience with a company I have every had in my entire life. I will never buy an LG product again. They may have nice, shiny products but they are made cheap and poorly. They advertise well but have no customer service. I will tell everyone I know never to buy their poorly made products. I paid hundreds of dollars for a phone and expected a good quality phone and got a phone that keeps breaking and now won't turn on and LG won't fix. Very disappointing. I have had a lot of cell phones before and never experienced a problem with a company like this. Avoid LG like the plague.

I called them several times and explained I have never dropped the phone in water and I take very good care of it and I rarely use the charge port as I always carry a spare LG battery. I purchased an LG v10 phone, I am a computer IT director and put the case directly into a waterproof secure case. No need as I go from my home to my office and don't take my phone out much anywhere. One day in the middle of a business week while sitting in a meeting the phone rebooted and got locked on the LG screen. I found this happened to thousands of people online and attempted to factory reset to find it was stuck exactly as people described. When I called LG they said "send it in. It is a common problem."

When I did they shipped it back and said it was water damaged, but will not tell me how they could determine this as I personally know this is impossible. I want them to show me and prove it. They refuse to even talk to me now that I have complained on their support site and they are not replying to my messages except with automated emails. LG will not sell another phone to me and I am happy that I buy hundreds of them a year and they will not get any of those sales.

I bought my LG G4 in Jan of 2016. I took it in to my Verizon dealer when it stopped charging. They informed me that my one year warranty had expired the day before but I had taken out the extended so I was still covered. After sending me home to jump through hoops, which are hard on a 66 year old, they finally agreed my phone was not going to work and sent me a refurbished one. This one always had charging issues, since the charging port was loose. It gave out on me in March, when I was about 1,000 miles from home, literally, by myself, and counting on it for directions. They replaced that one, after I got home, after I spent money on a TracFone and minutes.

Now it is May. I'm having lots of trouble charging, have bought countless chargers in the 17 months I've been dealing the these phones and have better luck with the cheap ones, even though they constantly break in, telling me I can charge quicker with the original charger, when in reality, I can't charge at all with it. It does, however, still work with other phones. I so look forward to my 2 year contract being up, if I can stand this stinkin' piece of junk that long.

I had an LG G3 and kept it in immaculate condition in a protected case with the glass screen protector, etc. It was never dropped and never exposed to liquid, only charged with the LG charger. In fact it was often turned off and in airplane mode most of the time. After 2 years I got the dreaded "No SIM Card" error. The phone was erased, factory reset, a new battery was used, etc. The error still persisted. Turns out the manufacturing of the motherboard is done poorly and components eventually disconnect on their own. The still immaculate phone is now unusable as a mobile device. LG had similar complaints with the G4 and V10 models and a class action lawsuit in California. Who knows if the G5 and the G6 will start having the same problems in time. Motorola and HTC smartphones are known to have much better manufacturing processes and build qualities.

I was first told by the BOOST Mobile phone sales person where we got the phones from to just let the battery wear down and the phone would shut its self off then recharge it and all would be good. We did that and everything was fine for 2 weeks when it did it again. This time I found out that to "Re-boot" the phone to hold the "Volume Down" key and the "On/Off" key at the same time and it would re-boot. It did and all was fine once more. This had to be done 3 more times in the next 2 weeks. Then one day my phone once again locked up but this time when I rebooted I got a GREEN SCREEN! Then I got a Battery Icon with a RED? in the icon. My Phone is no longer working. My phone ONLY 45 days old no longer works.

LG said to mail it into them and they would fix it and it would ONLY take 2-4 weeks. I am a businessman and need my phone ALL THE TIME and this amount of time not only loses me revenue but loses me valued clients. I asked them to send me a REPLACEMENT phone and when I get it I would mail them back the now PAPER WEIGHT I have. LG REFUSES to comply. WARNING!!! Just because there is a WARRANTY it DOES NOT mean SERVICE. It in no way means that they understand that the loss of your phone will cause severe loss of income. It does not mean that they give a Damn about your business or your value as a customer. I told them I had to have a phone BEFORE 2-4 weeks or it would ruin my business and they simply said "SORRY". I told them I would NEVER buy another LG product.

A similar problem happened a few years ago with my Wife's phone a Samsung, and they immediately sent a replacement phone, no waiting, and I told LG so and still they refused to comply. WARNING!!! Last year January, I was very excited to bring home my LG V10, the camera was amazing, the screen size was huge. Initially I was reluctant to buy an LG phone because my previous phone the LG Lucid 2 glitched out. The software became corrupted. I would turn on the phone Verizon Wireless startup screen with loop around on and off several times and I could not start up my phone. Although I wasn't considering to buy another LG Verizon salesman showed me the V10 which seemed like an enormous upgrade to what I have had and it seemed better than even the Samsung in terms of specs and camera and storage capabilities. I did not expect the phone to my brand new LG V10 to crap out on me the same way my old Lucid 2 did.

Unfortunately my one-year warranty for my V10 had expired 2 months ago and I still need it almost an extra year for a brand new contract through Verizon period. Luckily there was another phone on my account that was due for an upgrade. Mind you I had to pay $70 in taxes and other see you but I was not expecting to pay this year. The Samsung Galaxy 8 comes out later this month. I could have gotten them however I would have close to two weeks ago the phone which I need for work so I had to settle for the 7. What herbs me the most is the LG V10 was a $700 phone and it didn't even last a year. The warranty should be as long as the contract period.

I have a stark suspicion that all the mandatory software update had a malicious intent to bug my phone. Trauma same goes with my old Lucid 2 in which I noticed my phone becoming more sluggish and buggy after the updates. Also from the time that I got an issue we got my LG V10 I went through over 15 charging cables. The original charging USB cables did not even fit my phone properly. The Baywood eventually break and stop working and any other cable that I use would break period. The only cable that seems to have worked without eventually breaking on me were these $5 cables from Dollar General. I see I am not the only consumer with the same complaint.

I refuse to buy anything LG ever again, even my past LG flip phone with just as much of a disappointment. Really great features but the quality and durability of product are not even worth half the price especially considering how much the value of phones depreciate in value. Let's see how long my Samsung Galaxy last now period. I do feel disappointed but I had to downgrade in screen size, internal storage and other great features that my LG 10 had. However I refuse to get the LG V20 considering that this may happen to me again period. Totally not worth it.

These cheap ass phones are not worth 50 cents let alone 400.00 dollars. It is intent to commit fraud, it is selling cheap bad products at a high price. It is not standing behind what they sell... yes you can suspend the line for a short time but still have to pay for the crappy phone. This is highway robbery and needs to be stopped, if I or anyone else sold crap like this to anyone we would be in jail... Verizon needs to get sued for their inferior product. I also mentioned that I have a small crack on the screen that doesn't bother me and I don't want it replaced. It is one of those things you put up with, until it finally damages something crucial to your livelihood and sanity. The first casualty, after an update was the accessibility of the browser. (Google for me.) Before, I could minimize the browser, but after an update suddenly I could not do so. There was no help from the internet. I figured it out myself. Now I had to swipe, make it a dual window and delete it. Annoying, but I can live with it. The second casualty was the mic icon which I used extensively for using the browser hands free and asking for directions. (One of the selling points in getting the phone in the first place.) An update came and, wallah, suddenly the icon vanishes from my home page AND from the browser.

I try different things. Settings tells me that it is on and working. In fact FROM settings I can access it, but no way to get it back on the front page OR my browser. That is a serious loss of functionality. Again, internet, no help. Now I have to type in everything, THEN when I am getting directions the mic magically appears, after the fact. This annoyed me greatly but I lived with it. However, this Monday arrived the update that not only broke this camel's back, but made me scream profanities into an uncaring ceiling (standing in for the universe). Most know; to transfer files (photo and video for me) from an LG phone, the best way is to use a USB cable. This had worked fine since I got the phone (two years ago?) Now, suddenly, after an update my desktop doesn't recognize the phone. Again, internet totally useless.

I try different things. Finally under some secret lair deep in the OS I see that, in fact, the desktop does see it, but just doesn't recognize the phone. This is getting long so I will skip the numerous things I tried: installing the suddenly missing drivers, transferring to Google Drive, (looked like garbage!) etc... Of course, I called Customer service. When they were clueless, admitting it was an update issue that could not be resolved, I asked to talk to a supervisor and after 10 minutes on hold with the same message about how much "we appreciate your business", the supervisor came on and was utterly useless.

Like many of the disgruntled customers here, their only options were for me to send the phone in "for repairs." (Um... yeah, so you they could find non-existing water damage, NO THANK YOU!) or to send me a refurbished phone. (Yeah, so you could leave me dangling for months just to send me a garbage replacement, um...No thank you! And please sod off you stupid git!)

One of the main reasons I have THIS phone was the camera. I have made MANY videos (300 and counting on Youtube) with various cameras over the year. When I saw how good this camera was, I started doing videos ONLY with the cell phone. (Yeah, crazy, but true.) I now have 80 video bits (yup, all in the course of a weekend!) stuck in my camera. I can't film anymore because I don't have the space. I can't go back to an earlier version of the OS before the update, Google Drive sucks like an Event Horizon, and I am literally out of options. I am not happy. I will NEVER buy another product from LG. EVER.

After another week passed I contacted them again, they replied that the phone had water damage and I needed to pay 150$.

Now, if this information had been provided initially that would have been fine. However, after all this wasted time I was hoping to speak to a manager about their repair service and possible compensation for the wasted time. After finding a way to call them through my laptop on Google Hangouts I began the process of calling their support and basically being told to call back another day. LG will tell you their supervisors are busy to avoid having to deal with you, I was told that I would be able to speak with a manager one day, then the next day I was told they had no managers and that only supervisors would talk to me.

In the end they have told me they would approve the repair and I would have to wait for it even longer. It's now been well over a month and still waiting, repair was approved yesterday. Overall, there is a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers within LG. One of the most prominent examples was when I was told by an employee they would patch me through to a manager and THEY HUNG UP. This kind of situation is extremely frustrating because it makes you realize that as a consumer you are not respect and powerless to these companies that promise services for their products you pay for but do not deliver. Based on this experience I would really recommend anyone with an LG product looking to have it repair to skip it, and go look for another product with a company who cares for their consumers.

Bought my LG G4 in June 2015 and it stopped working about a month ago because of the bootloop issue. I called LG and the phone representative stated it would be repaired and sent me a shipping label. I shipped the phone to them and after about a week of it sitting in "diagnosing" status they declined to repair stating it was out of warranty and physical or water damaged. I never dropped the phone once and always kept it in an Otterbox Defender case since the day I bought it. The phone was never once near water. When I called to find out why the phone repair was declined the rep stuck to the script saying, "It's no longer under warranty or physically damaged". She said they can repair it for about $75 or refurbish it for $150.

I declined to have it repaired and demanded a supervisor but the representative kept saying the supervisor will advise the same. I had the phone sent back to me, broken and useless. I am still making payments on a phone I can no longer use as the 2 year payment plan is not quite up until June 2017. I really don't think I am liable to make good on the remaining payments for a broken phone I can't use. I will never buy another LG product. I cannot believe after all the similar reviews I've read there is not a class action lawsuit filed against this company.

All of them eat up internal storage. The camera on my K10 only has a 4X zoom. Pitiful. Seems like a ploy to get you to buy more expensive phone with more memory. Will never buy another LG product.

My LG G4 suffered from boot looping after less than a year. LG acknowledges this defect but failed to recall the affected phones. However, since my phone was still in warranty, I sent it to LG for repair on Dec 30. FedEx lost the repaired phone so after being reimbursed by FedEx, LG sent me a replacement. The replacement they sent me is not compatible with my carrier, Sprint. LG, depending on who I talk to, says that either the ESN release needs to be filed or that the release has already been processed. I have made at least five requests for the ESN release to be filed since Feb 3, but my phone still doesn't work on Sprint's network. I've been without a phone for nearly two months now and have given up hope that LG will ever help me. They will not activate the replacement, send me a replacement that works with my carrier, or refund me. Their customer service is a complete joke. Avoid LG products at all costs.

I told her that I found many other customers with the same problem on the internet while trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone and she told me that they never had a complaint. This is a fault of LG. They should fix the problem for the customer without an extra charge. I am not happy with LG. 3 months after receiving my refurbished LG g4 phone I started having problems. I would not be in control of my settings. Either it would be blocked out or not be there at all. My phone would download things all the time even if I tried to stop it. I would receive fake lg legal agreements. My phone would turn off when I would try to record it with my other cameras. I would get redirected to fake websites as well as fake 1 800 numbers. It would turn on repeatedly when I would try and factory reset. It would have this vibrating pulse about every 3 seconds that would drain my battery extremely fast. It would delete any photos or videos that I would record of it. It would know when I was about to make calls or report this to someone and turn off my phone before I could dial number, as if it could see my every move. Amongst a few other things that happened in last 30 days them are just a few.

I'm 100% convinced that someone was remotely controlling my phone and was able to see through the camera because it would stop me from doing something seconds before I could dial number or record it or anything of that nature. It could change setting right in front of my me and had total control of my phone. After 3 factory resets nothing would stop this hacking attack to my phone. I cannot google things now because I won't agree to the google agreement. I'm limited to phone calls and texts. Of which I had never received missing texts and tech support said it showed texts leaving their phone but would never make it to mine for starters etc...

If anybody else believes they were actually hacked and not just victim to malfunctions of the phone please let me know. I'm not going to give them my phone back for refund after reading in the reviews what a nightmare that will be. I'm going to get a different phone and never buy anything lg again. I might try to find a tech who can inspect it carefully and see if he can detect any tampering with because I'm 100% know I was a victim of a hacking scam.

LG G4 phone still on lease program will not reboot after one year and one month. Sprint rep made us aware of LG G4 issues, told us to go directly to LG. After sending phone back for inspection LG claimed not under warranty due to damage. I have never dropped the phone and have always kept the phone in an Otterbox for protection. The only damage the phone has is a cracked camera lens from my carrying in back pocket. The phone has been able to be used with the lens cover damage.

LG said they could fix for $85 for the lens and $185 for the other issue. Having contacted LG support and speaking to someone from? The rep was on script and kept saying “Due to damage your phone is not under warranty. You can pay to have phone repaired.” After continually asking if a diagnostic had been run to verify a software issue has been done and asking if there is a known issue she reluctantly admitted there was an issue of people not being able to boot up beyond the LG screen.

We researched and noticed many complaints about this phone have indicated that numerous persons have and are experiencing the exact same problem. I just asked for them to repair the software issue, don't worry about the lens I can get a replacement for $13. They are sending the phone back as I sent them. I am S.O.L. and having to continue paying for a defective phone. Out of frustration some have tried repairing themselves. Some have found that by taking a hair blower and heating the chips so they will fall back in place can sometimes repair the phone.

How can a company out of good conscious knowing there is an issue continue to treat a consumer in such a manner and stay in business? How can we as consumers come together and file a suit against LG??? To make an issue right? The attempt to contact LG has been impossible after having missed the call from Alabama after I complained the previous weekend. I get caught in a loop and am unable to make contact with a real live person... Only having to hang up…

I have a LG TV. After 4 years of use, it started to show different type of failures. I searched the web, many people encountered the similar problems. By baking the PCB (main board, or the IO board) can fix the issue, sometimes it will work for a few months. In my case, different issues popped up. I baked it again and fixed it. I am a computer HW engineer and this points to the flow soldering issue during manufacturing. Apparently LG does care because when this showed up, it would have passed the warranty.

In Oct 2015, I purchased their flagship G4 phone. After 14 months of use, the phone is in endless boot loop during power up. Again, many people complained about this. Youtube showed user how to bake the phone. Again, this is the manufacturing SMT soldering issue. I baked the phone and able to get it to work for 24 hours. After a full backup, the phone died again. It is out of warranty. I shipped that back to LG yesterday, and I am not sure how much it will cost to fix it. THE BOTTOM LINE IS: I will not buy any LG products.

Will never own a LG phone again. I bought the beautiful LG G3. Was an amazing phone that was simple yet packed with features. I was a big fan of the phone. I woke up one morning to find that my G3 had bricked. It was stuck in boot loader. I had the phone for little over two years, so it was out of warranty. I ended up buying a new LG G4 for $350.00 (even though the G5 was out). Not even a full year later, my LG G4 bricked. It stays on the LG G4 boot loader screen. Supposedly it's a hardware / mother board issue. Saying that I'm very frustrated is an understatement. These phones are expensive to fix out of warranty, not accounting for the time it takes to fix them. Save yourself time, pain and money, and just stay away.

My LG Nexus 5X was affected by the bootloop issue. One evening it just randomly began restarting, and then never turned back on. I had the phone for 8 months. I had to send it out to LG to be inspected and possibly repair. About 2 weeks later I was told it could not be fixed. They offered to "upgrade" me to a G4, which I didn't not want as it has no fingerprint sensor. They then agreed to ship a G5 instead. About 3 weeks later (one month after my phone died) I get a package that has a refurbished G4 in it. I called and was told a new order will be shipped out with the G5 and I can then send the G4 back. During this whole time, I had to go out and purchase a new phone.

About two weeks later and no G5, I called Customer Support who had no record of the G5 ever being shipped and was told they could do nothing about it. I emailed Customer Support and only get generic "Sorry for the inconvenience" emails back, but nothing is being done each time I call for an update. It 100% safe to say I will never purchase another LG product again. I am glad this happened before me and my wife purchased some new LG washers and dryers we were looking at just before this.

The nice clerk did some checking and then told me to contact LG. Well time for doing something I LOVE nagging companies that did not let others there was a problem. Well first on to Facebook to contact AT&T and LG and posted in the open about my problem. AT&T was so helpful and told me that LG will take the phone back and fix for free. I got the nice agent's name after telling them that I was thinking of just going to another carrier after 14 years.

Next step. Contacting LG, I went a few rounds and I got the info on how to get the phone serviced for free. Granted it will be almost a month before I get it back. Oh they do tell you to pull your SIM card and extra Memory as they toss them in the trash if it is sent to them in the phone. Granted It took me almost 3 hours. Then I got in touch with AT&T and did an early upgrade. In the morning I will be getting my Kyocera DuraForce XD. Once the LG gets back it will be use it as my UBER only phone. Summary: Paid $72 to have phone repaired and back within 5-7 business days. 25 business days and counting with no phone. Details: I sent my LG G Flex 2 to LG Electronics for out of warranty repair in December 2016. It was received on 12/19/16. It was diagnosed on 12/20/2016 as "Power Completely Off/Components on Board" at fault (This is technically incorrect as I noted it does communicate via USB with a PC and registers as a "Qualcomm 9008" device - physical components were fine, only the software was wiped from memory. Nonetheless LG diagnoses the whole motherboard as faulty and charged $72 to swap it without replacing any housing).

I paid $72 by phone on 12/22/16 at the number provided. Payment was accepted. I verified on my banking app during the call and the service representative verified payment on their end. She stated it'd be "3-5 days for the repair" and I'd get a FedEx tracking number when repair was complete. The email from LG Electronics Alabama, Inc. also stated, "You will receive your repaired unit within 5 to 7 business days from the date we receive your payment." I received no calls or emails and the "Track Repair" page on LG's website still read "Repair In Progress" as of 1/11/17. I called again and the same representative told me the board was on back order and would be available on the 13th. Repairs would begin then, and it'd be 5 more days after that to wait on repairs.

A week later on 1/20/17, I receive an email from LG saying to contact them, that repairs could not be made at this time. This email was sent late business hours Friday afternoon, so I was unable to contact until the following Monday, 1/23/17. The phone number was different, apparently Customer Service division. The previous calls were with the Physical Damage/OOW repair department. The email address was verified as LG.

After half an hour or so of this new representative checking my account, he tells me the board for my phone is actually on back order until March. I informed him that wait is not acceptable because I was already told the part was available as of the 13th by the repair department representative, because the original statement is "receive repaired unit 5 to 7 days from date of payment" and it was a whole calendar month later and because, more practically speaking, I'm moving mid-February and phone is at risk being permanently lost/delayed in mail. He apologizes and offers a refurbished LG G4 instead of my G Flex 2 if I do not wish to wait any longer.

I refused, stating the G4 was well-known to have boot loop issues, not reliable and expressed I preferred my G Flex 2. He then offered a G5. I was unaware of anything defective with that model at the time of the call so I did accept a refurbished G5 to replace my G Flex 2. I was given a second authorization # to track the G5 with and told I would not be receiving my G Flex 2 back. I asked for a FedEx tracking number and - you guessed it - was told I will be sent one by email in 5-7 more days (In retrospect I should have pointed this statement as being an unacceptable wait too, but I maintained the same politeness I've had in all these calls. I felt the issue would be resolved soon).

As of this morning, 1/30/17, my tracking page for my G Flex 2 still reads "Repair In Progress" over a month later. The tracking page for the second number I was given on 1/23/17, to track the G5, has read "Awaiting Customer Shipment" for one week. This is the only message it has said since the representative gave me the tracking number. 1/22/17 when payment was made until today, 1/30/17, is 25 business days. I paid $72 to "receive your repaired unit within 5 to 7 business days from the date we receive your payment." I have made three phone calls to two representatives from different LG departments and don't even have a shipping tracking number yet. I am following up with another phone call during business hours today to try and escalate and expedite my case with LG. This wait is unacceptable and is bordering on unbearable now. Will update with details here moving forward.

My mother and father purchased the "Best Phone on the Market", the LG G4 with the stylish leather back! Yeah... Pure sales tactic garbage. Due for an upgrade and in dire need of new phones, my parents went to the Sprint store. When arriving, they were greeted and shown around to new cell phones. Of course the phone that they push the hardest is always the best right?

With high expectations and excitement for a new phone, my parents were swindled into buying the new $600 dollar LG G4. Not just one, but two of these phones! Long story short and not getting into dates, my father's went bad 11 months after they bought it. I kindly called and got everything situated. I packed it up, sent it off and everything was perfect. I receive notice that it will be 6-8 weeks. Take in mind, my father travels the country working and my mother stays home alone sometimes. This became a large inconvenience to our family. He went four and a half months without his phone. Not the 6-8 weeks. We called and called again. Finally dad got pretty pissed off and raised some hell. They placed us on the urgent rush list. My dad's phone comes back and it's all good!

My mom's phone goes bad 3 weeks out of their one year purchase warranty. I call and raise suspicion to the fact that both phones took a crap right within a year. The "Best Phone of the Year" right? I call and complain saying it's out of warranty and I want it fixed. Told them it was the same issue as my dad, the motherboard went bad. The man kindly says they have a 15 month warranty for that issue. I get the label created and ready to ship. Takes me a couple days to get it over, but that's because nowhere to drop for FedEx around. I drop it, and receive notice that the label wasn't "Clear enough" therefore making my product become out of warranty by a month.

Now I called to find my situation, and the guy tells me they can't take it and won't send me a label. It's out of warranty and I have to take it to a special place to get fixed. We paid 1300 for two phones that are junk!! Now one is worthless because they will not accept it for repair after I opened the case two months ago!! It didn't start to work again, and his excuse was "well if the product isn't in our facility when the warranty is in effect it's no good".

I asked today to speak with a higher positioned person and am waiting to do so right now. My mom had to go buy a new phone to hold her over, but needs this one fixed. I am practically blown away at this point. I have new 2015 LG washer and dryer, a Lg TV we bought this year, our phones, my parents appliances and TV are LG and the list goes on, but how do they just neglect a customer that spends THOUSANDS!! I know that from this point on, I will be spreading the word that LG is a untrustworthy company with cheap products. I will never buy from LG again and I also advise other people to do the same.

I have the LG inspire gold and it has been giving me issues since the 2nd day of ownership. I purchased the phone 11/14/2016. It is now 12/29/2016. So in this short amount of time the phone has been nothing but a headache. It keeps saying invalid battery even though the battery that came with the phone I never use anything other than the charger it came with but it doesn't stay on. It registers me off my wireless network majority of the time. I would say this device is trash and I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time or money with LG and from the looks of the reviews I've read it doesn't seem as if the LG manufacturers care that they are distributing faulty products and are doing little to nothing about it to meet customer satisfaction. If a suit is going to be placed against them please inform me. I will be willing to join. This is ridiculously unfair to us as buyers.

In October 2016, I was forced to upgrade my LG G3 to LG G5 due to a malfunction of the LG G3. I received a "NEW" phone on October 7th 2016. On December 20th 2016, the "NEW" phone went black, got hot, and a pink screen which looked like a computer blue screen came up. I took it to our local US Cellular store where I had received it and they could not save it! Everything was lost on my brand new phone. The supervisor said I would receive another phone the next day and I did but found out at that time they replaced my new phone with a refurbished phone!!! AND, I still am paying for a "NEW" phone. I've asked for an adjustment and they responded that LG only replaces with refurbished phones. So, NEW phones crashes in 2.5 months but I have to pay "NEW" phone price for 3 years!!!! No adjustment. No new phone.

I have bought many Bluetooth headsets from LG but over the course of time they only last for 6 months. When you send it in, they either repair it or send you a new one; but as soon as you begin to use it, within the next 3 months, you have to call up the company and tell them it is no good. This constant back and forth of exchanging is wearing me out. Why can't they make their product to last. It seem that this was designed this way so that the consumers have to keep buying their product. I have decided that I will never buy another LG headset again because the workmanship is poor, and the customer service is not helpful. Until I hear that things have change as to the quality of their products, I will never buy any products from LG. I am sending this evaluation out to all who read this review, DO NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS. YOU WILL BE IN FOR A GRAVE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Purchased on the Google w-site in Oct. 2015 and then USBC connector broke in Dec. 2016. Got RMA and dropped phone off with RMA label at FEDEX retail location. Phone never made it onto a truck at the local FEDEX consolidator. LG says they will take care of it but offer no details when pressed. Wild guess is that it takes a month or more to get a phone back from LG.
