    I had tires put on my wife's car at Sam's Club. We let our membership run out so when it came time to rotate the tires, we took it to Wal-Mart to have them rotated and balanced. This would have been free at Sam's, but I was willing to pay for the service at Wally's. I dropped the car off and explained to the associate checking me in, that one rim had been damaged, and I had a replacement rim in the trunk. The damaged rim was bent and caused an awful shaking at high speeds. I asked them to trade out for the new rim while rotating. The associate repeated back to me from his report all that needed to be done; four tire rotation with balance, and to replace the one rim with the new one in the trunk of the car. He told me it would be a little over an hour. After shopping around for about 1/2 an hour, I noticed the car sitting outside the bay. I asked the lady at the counter if it was already done and she handed me the key and took my money.

    Feeling suspicious about the short work time, I grabbed one of the workers and asked them in detail if they had indeed completed everything I asked. They looked annoyed and said, "yes, of course". I asked again and another worker came over and concurred that everything on the list had been completed. I asked if they changed out the bad rim and they both said there was no reason to do that, it was fine - "no leaks". I told them the tire never leaked, it had a bent rim. At this point a manager joined them and all three insisted the car was fine, that all tires were balanced and rotated and there were "no leaks". Again I explained the tire never leaked, and I never said it did. It was bent and throwing off the balance.

    I pointed out that there was no way they could have balanced all four tires and not found the bent rim. Seeing that I had made a valid argument, they finally put it back on the rack and found that none of the tires had been balanced and the rim was in really bad shape. They all joined in blaming the guy from the previous shift that wrote up the work order. I had the order (that they given me) in my hand and pointed out that it was all itemized on the order and checked off as "completed" by the workers that were still there. I made them put the new rim on while I watched. Then I rolled the old bent rim back to the trunk and they all got a chuckle out of watching it wobble as it rolled. They decided not to charge me any extra for the rim change. (Swell guys!)

    On the interstate, going home, I could still hear a bad vibration in the back. I'm taking it to an alignment shop to make sure everything is ok, but I'll never pull that car back into a Wal-Mart garage. What a joke. I can't stand to be lied to, especially in a business situation.

    I came in to get an oil change on my only day off this week. I checked my car in @ 1:45 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. my car is still parked in the lot not touched. Another set of customers are in front of me. They have been wait 2 1/2 hours. This is Memorial Day. I am grateful that Walmart is open for my business on this holiday. But, due to this wait I have missed a Family event.

    I hope you understand how frustrating this is. I would really like a call back or some type of correspondence back to address this. I really am disappointed that my Memorial Day has been affected to this extent. At this time it is 4:09 and my car has not been pulled into the bat. No one at the counter and people are gathering to check on this situation.

    On May 5th, 2015 took my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan in to have tires balanced and rotated. On may 9th we were leaving on a trip for the weekend. We were a hour and a half into the trip when we heard a continuous knocking coming from the front of the van. So we turned around and headed back to Warrenton Missouri were we live. On the way home we stopped at the same Wal-Mart to have them check the tires. They rotated them back and said "Everything is fine now." That was on may the 9th.

    On May 13 I was picking my daughter up from school when the knocking started again so I called my husband and he called Napleton Mid Rivers where we normally have work done on it. So I took it in on May 14. The technician called me back while he had the van jacked up and said "Here is your problem. Wal-Mart never tighten any of your lug nuts back on your tires are just barely sitting on the van." They told me that this situation was a lawsuit waiting to happen. They charged me a $110.00. Took my receipt to Wal-Mart - they would not even apologize then took them 40 minutes to refund me the $110.. I ask them what about my time and gas for their mistake - they just walked away!!!

    Went to Wally World today to get four general grabbers installed on old suburban. They were offering free installation online. Called to ask and the manager said that she would match online price. 40 dollars cheaper online. So I went for it. They tried to get me with warranty which I did not want. And were a little slow and not polite, but I went expecting that. So overall not too bad...especially with free basic install.

    A few weeks ago I went to the Walmart Lube and Tire Center to have 2 all season on my car and the winter ones off. The next day when I went out to the parking lot to go shopping, I noticed that one of the tires I had changed at Walmart was flat. I took it back to Walmart to have it fixed and I figured that I won't have to pay for it because the technician didn't seal it properly, WRONG!!!!! They charged $25 bucks to repair a problem they caused. They told me very rudely because it wasn't one their tires, the repair wouldn't be free! I am never going back there again, because they made me pay for problem they caused in the first place. What a rip off!!!! My advice to you is never get your car serviced at Walmart for anything. They are ignorant, rude and don't stand behind the service they provide!!!!!

    Purchased truck tires on May 2014 with road hazard for a total of 830.00. As of April 2015 with 11,000 miles the vehicle had been in for rebalance 6 times in 11 months yet tires still would not balance and tread wear at 50% on a 50,000 mile Bridgestone tire. On April 15, 2015 I talked to a manager and asked them what to do and they said they would fix the issue. They ordered new tires and said they would charge by miles on the tires. 11,000 miles on a 50,000 tire approx 20% and refund the tires less the 20% then purchase the ordered tires. I was told the total would be around $170.00 to fix the defect. On April 20th I was at Wal-Mart to have the tires installed but they were busy so I said “Take care of your customers and call me in the morning with final cost and I will bring the vehicle in.” Manager thanked me and said he would call in the morning.

    Next morning I got no call so I called Wal-Mart and was told the manager I had been dealing with was scheduled off for the next two days. I went to the store at 5:15pm and talked to one of the assistant store managers. He took me to the tire center and tires were getting installed. At 8:20pm I was told the total I owed was a additional 470.00. They didn’t go by mileage on the tires but decided to go by tread wear at 50%. (Refunded $40.00 of $206.00 defected tire and nothing for road hazard, mounting, balance or even tax. Charged me again for mount and balance on new tires and no road hazard.)

    They reduced the price to $311.00 after the assistant store manager told me there was nothing else he could do and walked away. He said “if he isn’t willing to pay the $470.00 then put the old tired back on the vehicle.” It made no difference that the department manager told me for the past several days told me 20% and now I have paid a total of 1,440.00 dollars for a set of 920.00 dollar tires. They worked the whole deal to their dollar advantage instead of standing behind the product they sell. I will never purchase from them again.

    I was standing at the check out/check in & another customer walked up with a large bag of dog food. She sat it on the counter since it was heavy. The employee came over & shot me a dirty look & proceeded to help the second customer. Even though she saw me there first. From then on, she was very rude & hateful. I don't know this person so I don't know if she is always this way. There were only 2 other vehicles in the shop, but it was going to be an hour & half to get 2 tires mounted. I really think she wanted me to go somewhere else the way she acted. On another occasion, I took my truck there to fix a flat & by the next day, it was flat again. I ended up going somewhere else.

    I took my car into for an oil change at the Rome GA store #825 and did not get the service I usually get. I ask for a standard oil change and to replace a headlight and was told they could do that, instead got a premium oil change for $45 and did not get a headlight. When I went back the man acted like it wasn't his problem. I have shopped with Wal-Mart for a lot of years and I did not appreciate being treated that way.

    Took my Chevy Cavalier in for an oil change about 11 am. They upsold me a fuel injection flush for 10 additional. While I waited, I shopped and put in pictures at the photo area. About noon, they called. I went up and they were looking for my keys, then someone came from the back and said they just started because they couldn't get the filter out. I joked with them and left to go shop more and wait for my pictures. Got my pictures, paid for other items and went back to check status at about 1 pm. Still not ready. The gentleman said usually an oil change takes 20 minutes, a bit more for fuel injection service. He couldn't say why not yet done. Was done at about 1:30.

    When I went to the counter, they first gave me a paper to sign saying I needed to get a new dipstick before my next oil change because it was broken. I didn't sign and told them it was fine before. They got the mechanic and stated it was already broken. I told them I was not happy or comfortable but knew I couldn't fight it so just signed and paid and went to my car. When I got to my car I found my back window open. This window is faulty and unable to close. I returned to the counter and asked why they had lowered the window and the counter guy just kind of ignored me cause he couldn't really answer. I got angry and told them to open the door to let me out, went to the front and asked for a manager.

    When she came I explained why I was angry and that I was going on a trip and the window is stuck down. I told her I figured she would probably do nothing, but I wanted to voice my complaint. She walked me back to auto telling me to wait and see what she can do. She got the 'pit boss' (who looked annoyed to be bothered) and they went into the back and got my paperwork. After talking, they came to me and said they were told the dipstick was already broken and they always roll down windows when they drive a car in… normal procedure and that I should have told them about the faulty window. I asked how a normal person would know to say that when you are just getting an oil change. The manager stated if it was her, that would be the first thing she would tell someone. I said “If you know procedure, you would, but an ordinary person would not.” There is no reason for a back window to be rolled down for an oil change. I left.

    When I got home I found I had been overcharged by 10, they had changed my arrival time to an hour later than was accurate and they lied about checking my blinker lights - which I know because my passenger blinkers don't work. I went back and was refunded my 10. I asked why they changed the arrival time and said they checked my lights when obviously they didn't… no pit boss or manager was available (boss at lunch and manager in office doing something). The cashier, ** - bless her heart, offered to have the car rechecked. I told her I trusted them to do it the first time and I didn't trust them to have my car again. I am disappointed at the lack of concern, no apologies, no mention that oops, they can't get the window up, just a blame on me for not telling them. Very unhappy with Walmart, where I love to shop on a regular basis and no clue if they even checked anything I paid for or guarantee it is right.

    I called the Walmart on Henry St. in Muskegon and asked if they had tires that would fit my car. They told me that they did and that there was only one person waiting for tires and that I should come right over. I got there within 5 minutes and told them that I wanted my 2 front tires replaced. They gave me a slip and said that they would notify me in the store when the car was ready, if I wanted to wait and do some shopping. After almost 2 hours of hanging around in the store, I took my purchases to the register in Automotive. That is when they informed me that they only had 1 tire that would fit my car. I guess that the inventory showed 6 on hand.

    Why did I have to wait that long to get this information? If I hadn't went back there, I would probably still be waiting. I skipped going to an appointment to get these tires installed. Even though I was thoroughly disgusted with Walmart at this time, I decided to call the Walmart across town (Henry St.) to see if they had the tires in stock. After calling 3 times without any one answering the phone in Automotive, I decided to give up on getting any tires from Walmart. How does a company stay in business with such poor customer service?

    I went to Walmart in Douglasville for an oil change. When I picked my vehicle up I noticed that the oil light and the engine light was on. These lights were not on before I dropped the car off. I had a doctors appointment for one of my children So I could not go back into the store immediately. I did immediately called them and told them what had happened. They said to come in when I got back from the doctor. When I returned to the store they took my vehicle. They said they drain the oil that was in there and put a thicker oil in there hoping that that would cause the light to go off. When that didn't work They started googling How to fix the problem.

    After about an hour Someone explained to me that it was a coincidence that the light came on And that if I drove the vehicle for about a hundred miles the lights would probably go away. Needless to say that did not work. When I returned to the store I spoke to a manager who told me that he would look at the video to make sure that everything was done correctly. He also told me to take my vehicle to a mechanic so that they can diagnose the problem and once I did that and if it was related to the oil change at all they would take care of it.

    When I returned to the store with the repair Order Stating that the oil pressure was low due to low oil level in the vehicle The manager said that that was something that Could not have been caused during the oil change. He also stated that he did not personally look at the video but he had another associate to do so over the weekend and that associate told him that everything was done correctly. He then reassured me that he will investigate the video himself and call me back. I called the store manager later that day and was told that no one had seen the video because their loss prevention person was gone all weekend and that it would not be until the next day before they could watch the video. I was concerned that the manager I spoke to lied to me and told me that somebody had watched it And told him that everything was done correctly but no one has access to the video.

    So when I asked the store manager about the inconsistency in that story she told me she could not discuss it with me. My mechanic says I need a new motor now and Wal-Mart isn't taking any responsibility for their mistakes. They called my mechanic and told them I bought my vehicle to them with no oil in it, but that is not mentioned on their work order/receipt and was never mentioned to me during my many conversations with several employees who said they worked on my vehicle, including 3 managers. The bottom line is, there was no problems with my vehicle before they had it. I had driven less than ten miles before bringing back to them. The lights were on immediately after starting the vehicle, which means they saw it when they were done and no one noted it nor did they mentioned it to me. Leaving me to believe they were hiding it.

    Took in for oil change - the tech broke my threads on oil pan, over tight the plug on my car. Walmart paid for towing to garage to fix. The garage tried rethread the oil pan failed. Car leaked oil - called garage to come get car. Walmart paid for repair. Now because it leaks Walmart blames garage for bad repair and says the garage didn't fix it like Walmart told them and garage wants to put on new oil pan and Walmart will not pay for anything. Refuse to fix my car blaming garage for not fixing it right so now I am screwed. Now I still have a broken car. I need to sue Walmart just don't know how. What a nightmare.

    On March 25th I brought my vehicle to Wal-Mart (store 3324) in Sheboygan for an oil change. It was an easy way to multitask -- I also had some shopping to do. After the oil change I went to work (part time job) and got home later that evening (it was dark out). For the next 2 days I left the house when it was dark and got home when it was dark. On Saturday afternoon when I got home from work, (first time it had been light out coming or going to work) I pulled into my driveway and to my horror, I had 3 large dark spots in my driveway. By large I mean 15 -20 inch in diameter. Not sure what the substance was, I called Wal-Mart to ask if I could have it looked at.

    The only thing that had changed in the last couple days was the oil change, so I assumed it was oil. In the process of trying to get a hold of someone in that department, I was disconnected 3 times. This just added to the dissatisfaction I was having with this experience. By the time I actually talked to someone, it was time for me to leave for my part time job again. I was told to bring it in the next day and they would look at it. The next morning I brought in my vehicle, explained the oil spots and my dissatisfaction with this purchase. I spent $8000 on my newly paved driveway and it looked like crap now. Very angry.

    The guys that looked at the vehicle came out of the garage area and showed me the air filter that they took out of the vehicle. They showed me that the top gasket wasn't smooth, it was a bit wavy. It was a Fram filter cor 6607 TLE. The mechanic said after this I should request a Purolator filter after this "because they are cheaper and better." Here's my 1st question. If they are cheaper and better, why are they not using them? Here's my second question. Has anyone ever been asked what air filter they would like? The mechanics said this type of thing happens every once in a while with the FRAM filters. I was asked if I wanted them to show me where the oil dry products were. Really? That's your answer to my complaint? I will never use the Wal-Mart store for any auto work ever again.

    Every 3 months I have taken my 2007 Chevy to be serviced, oil, fluids, vacuum. Referred a friend also, then referred another friend. Last visit first friend, they claim Oil pan leaking. No leaks. Had car checked elsewhere. My last visit, they claim "oil pan" leaking, had car checked elsewhere, no leaks. This visit occurred March 5 2015. After assuring me all else other than "oil leak" was fine, car began missing. Had NO transmission fluid left in car. I have no idea how much damage I, or Walmart may have done to a perfectly good transmission. When I returned to speak with someone, March 27 2015 approx. 5:30 pm, a Manager of another dept informed me I have oil leak only. Advised her NOTHING in oil was leaking. Advised NO transmission fluid in my car after I left Walmart. Again, only stated I have oil leak. Refused to assist even with an apology. Since this time I have spoken with countless people that have experienced the same issues.

    Walmart is making enough money that they should stand behind their product, replace what they destroy and at lease hire Caring Managers. This will stop me and many other from shopping for ANY product at Walmart. To top it off Manager walked away with receipt. Now I must spend another day searching for THAT manager whom I am sure will dispute taking my receipt. I am sure these records are in your system however as I charged.

    Took my 2013 Honda Civic with 11,702 miles on it for an oil change and tire rotation to Walmart in Greeneville Tennessee. The next day my son took the car to work and called me to tell me the check engine light was on so I told him I just had the oil changed and to look under the hood. When he opened the hood the oil cap was in the engine compartment and there was oil all over the engine. I called Walmart and they told me to bring the car back. I then called Honda and they told me not to drive the vehicle so I had it towed to Honda. Thank goodness I did. No major issues. They cleaned the engine and replaced a quart of oil. I filed a complaint with Walmart. He said he will have to review the video so this is probably not going to end without a fight. I will never take my car to Walmart for any work. My closest Honda dealer is 30 miles away but it is well worth the trip.

    I purchased 2 tires from Hudson Bridge Walmart in Stockbridge on 3/13/15. Within hours, one of the tires blew a hole out at the sidewall for no apparent reason. By the next evening (3/14/15), the second would no longer hold air. I went back to store on 3/16/15 and was told by 3 managers that I would not be able to get a refund or an exchange. When I had asked if they were aware of the complaints and bad reviews of the same problem with the same tire (which unfortunately, I didn't look up reviews until after the fact), the tire department manager responded with, "They are cheap tires and I wouldn't have sold them to you." But still was told nothing they could do. I might as well have thrown that money in trash. Then after looking at info received to go through manufacturer's warranty, I realize it was the wrong info! I would like to look into a class action lawsuit! A lot of people on the online reviews are asking for one as well.

    I bought a set of Goodyear tires at Walmart. (P265/70R17 TRACK2). At 8,000 miles I had a flat. Took it to an auto repair place to have it fixed. They told me the bead had split and was not repairable. They could not offer a replacement because it was a Walmart co-branded tire, and suggested I take it back. I had purchased the road-hazard insurance with the tires originally. So, went back to the Walmart I bought them from.

    Walmart no longer had a record of my purchase, since their automotive section used to be managed by Jiffylube. So, an elderly, rude woman who plugged my information in to an arcane handheld device with a plastic pen. After explaining the situation multiple times, I left my keys and went into the store. Thirty minutes later, I was paged. They couldn't find anything wrong-- with my SPARE. The flat tire was in the bed of the truck, and the older lady knew that. After I clarified, they asked again what I wanted done. They didn't have a replacement in stock and the tire had been discontinued, so they could not order one.

    I asked about alternatives. They showed me a tire that roughly resembled it (raised white sidewall). They had ONE in stock of my size. I asked them to replace it. As they were starting, I asked about credit for the original tire. They said I'd have to talk to "Mr. **" but they had not seen him in a while. As a side note, one of the kids working there said-- "oh, by the way, the one tire we had doesn't have raised lettering like the one we showed you." I finally gave up and asked them to put everything back. I will buy my tire elsewhere.

    There were at least 5 Walmart people I interacted with and none were helpful. I never saw the manager. All together, I wasted two hours there and did not get my tire replaced. Perhaps this is how Walmart avoids honoring their tire warranties, by frustrating customers into leaving. Lessons learned: Walmart offers of name brand products are NOT the same quality that you will buy elsewhere. Walmart does not keep adequate inventory of their own co-branded products. Walmart automotive staff are largely indifferent and not professional. Walmart does not honor manufacturers warranties OR their own hazard insurance. If anyone cares, this interchange was 3/14/2015 at Walmart store #1177 on Highlands Avenue, Manchester, MO.

    On January 23rd, I took my car to the auto service dept at the Walmart located in near our home for an oil change. When the technician asked for my information, I asked him for an oil change and to check everything because we were going to use the car for a long drive at the end of the week. I also asked if they could check and fill the power steering fluid if needed because the steering had become tight and thought it may need some fluid. He stated they could but it would be a while before the car was ready because they were very busy. I told him I would leave the car and come back later that afternoon to pick it up.

    I returned to pick up the car that afternoon and was told nothing about the car when paying. I stopped in the service area and asked a lady if I could speak with someone regarding my car. She asked what my question was and I asked about the power steering fluid because it simply said checked and no notation regarding filling the reservoir. She said "Oh yes, I know that one and it was fine. It did not need any." I left thinking maybe something else was wrong with the steering and would call to make an appointment with the dealer. I drove straight home which is less than a mile and parked the car until the next morning.

    I drove to work which is an hour away and noticed the check oil light came on. I thought maybe the techs had not reset the computer although thought it was strange because we have our oil changed regularly (3,000 miles) and had not noticed this light the day before. When I finished my work and began my drive home, a red flashing light came on and said oil pressure very low. Again, I could not imagine why this would be because I had just had it changed so I drove home but made an appointment for the next morning with the dealership.

    While I was at work the next day, the dealership called and left a message for me to call. When I called back, they asked when the last time I had the oil changed was....I said on Monday (2 days before). They said "You have not oil in your car. You may want to come up here." When I had finished work, I went up and they showed me that there was less than a quart of oil that drained from the car. They also noted that the power steering reservoir was down to less than half and as we looked we noticed all the other things that were marked "checked" had not been. The battery was corroded so that the plastic covering was stuck and had to be pried so that could not have been checked and cleaned; the air filter had moths and dirt in it, and 3 of the four tires had 26-28 lbs of air but were noted as having 35 lbs each.

    I called the store only to be put on hold and then transferred. One nice gentleman in the service area did speak to me finally but said the manager was on vacation. The next day I learned that my "case" was transferred to Case Mgmt, Inc. and they would call me soon. ** called me at 7:30 Friday morning to tell me that he would review my case and the video. The next week, he called to tell me they still had not received the video and then the next week, he called to tell me he had reviewed the video and it appeared everything was done correctly. I began to laugh and proceeded to ask him how they possibly could be sure and if all had been taken care of, how my car could have declined in 2 days. I also asked about the power steering. His reply was, "Mrs. **, they are not mechanics." He then said my case was closed. I informed him that it was probably not.

    The car is using oil now which it never did before and I would like protection from possible future issues from this.

    The Auto Care Center at my Walmart (6149 Old National Hwy, College Park, GA 30349) is full of slow, lazy, liars. I pulled up at 3:40 to get my oil changed and specifically asked if it would be done by 4:30 because I needed to be somewhere by 5. I was assured that my car would be done by 4:30 and I believed him since there was only one car in the garage, leaving the other four garage slots open.

    My car was immediately pulled into the garage and I went into Walmart to do a little bit of shopping while I waited. I was gone until 4:15, when I came out my car wasn't done, no problem, it wasn't 4:30 yet, so I had confidence that it would be finished soon. 4:28 rolls around and I asked the lady at the front (she's very nice) how long it would be because I was assured it would be done by a certain time. She checked for me and was hesitant to come back and tell me because they told her that it would be another 15 minutes before it was done.

    My car did not get pulled up until 4:50 and the mechanic didn't even have the decency to apologize for lying and making me 20 minutes late for what I needed to do! He didn't say a word to me after he pulled up, actually, nothing! The entire time I'm waiting, I see mechanics sitting around, talking, grabbing food, talking to women that don't even work in the auto care department, just lollygagging around, not caring about what I needed to do and what was promised.

    I asked for a reason! If I would have known that it would take an hour and twenty minutes to change frickin oil, I would have just waited until AFTER my appointment or the next day. Excuse me, I paid for a service. I was promised it would be done by a certain time, I expect you to do your dang job! Especially since my entire decision to pay you was 100% because I reassured that it would be done by a certain time and I would not be late. NEVER AGAIN! NEVER! I will be going up to the store tomorrow to complain about the workers there, their nonchalant attitudes, and their empty promises. Totally inconsiderate. Highly pissed off.

    I have anxiety issues, so it's important for my life to be very direct and punctual or I will either have an asthma attack or go into a crying fit. I ended up going into a slight crying for because of their excessive tardiness. I call it "slight" because I had my 7 year old son in front of me and I had to try and keep it together as best as I could for his sake and to keep him calm.

    I was a ASE Technican. I always buy My tires at Wal-Mart and sometimes have My Oil changed there, depending if I have time to do it. I haven't had any trouble and I have had three sets of Tires put on different Vehicles in the last Year. Sometimes the wait can be extensive but overall that's all part of it. I do wish I would see more Torque Tues being Used but I have never had an Issue. I would rather buy My tires and Oil changes elsewhere because they have taken over everything else. I just can't compete with The prices.

    In brief. I had Rain X wiper blades($32.00 a pair) installed at my auto parts store on 2/5/15. I had my oil changed (Mobile One high mileage oil) at Walmart Osprey Florida on 2/17/15. When finished was told that the bill was not correct and that the Tech added wiper blades. Ok fine. I didn't ask for the blades to be replaced as the ones that were on when I came in were new and very expensive. I told Doug to get my Rain X blades back on. He went out to the bay and said, not to worry sir the blades that they put on would be comped to me. I said no, I want MY Rain X blades that were on back on the van. Ok, he said he would have the blades back on. I watched from a distance as the tech took blades on put another set on. Out the door I went only to find out when I got home they were not the Rain X blades but a cheap set of blades.

    Went back to the Autoparts store where I bought the Rain X blades and had the clerk at the Auto store come out and check the blades that the Walmart Tech put back on. He showed me a Rain X blade, and there was no way you could mistaken a Rain X blade from any of the cheaper blades. Rain X has the name on the blade in plain sight. Back to Walmart. Told the man, who my wife thought was the Auto Manager, I wanted the Rain X Wiper blades that I had on when I came back on. No worries he says. Out to the Bay then out to me van. Back with the blades that were on the van, measured the length of the blade and went into the Walmart store and came back with a new set of Rain X blades.

    Questions needing to be asked. Why a tech who looks at wiper blades as a daily inspection would take off perfectly good Rain X blades. Answer from Walmart was that the Work order after mine had a note to replace the wiper blades. Really. Ok, then why did they not just put my wiper blades back on? And where did the original Rain X blades go?

The customer service rep manager gets every call only she can resolve. Next, line of 20 with only 3 has needs automotive concerns. Not a good wait time. Thoughts upon the estimate time 2-4 hrs. Go figure 3 mechanics on duty. Noted there's no system, who does what? Wait was time increase by 1 hr. Customer service failed!

    Worst Experience of my Walmart life. Walmart Store # 03093 located in Meridian, Idaho. I normally go there to do tire rotation and change my oil for my Touring Sedan, Sebring Chrysler. On January 16, 2015, IT WAS THE WORST WALMART EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE! I went in there for an easy oil change, but it ended up as a 3 hours in a hell hole.

    First, they paged me over the intercom system to come to the automotive department, stating that they couldn't change my oil because the cap cover on the oil tank is "orange" Walmart don't do "orange cap" they ONLY do "black cap cover" for the oil. And they made me look like a BIG FAT LIAR when I told them my last oil change was at the same Walmart, same location in August 2014. I even pointed out the guy who worked on my car on that day in August 2014, but he looked at me and said, HE'S EXACT WORDS: "I don't remember you, I don't know you!" He had that frown on his forehead, and he made me look like I was a lying **. I WAS HURT. And regardless, I've tried to tell them the truth but they believe him. And they kept telling me that my information are not valid in their system and they couldn't find any proof of my last car service in August.

    So I went outside in my car and get proof of my RECEIPT for my oil change on August 2014. And they pulled it up using the "service order" and they finally showed proof of my August oil changed. The manager pointed out that kid, who was still there mocking me, and taunting me with his evil stare. The manager told him that it was his name on the receipt. His name is **. But this ** was mean, unprofessional, unpleasant Walmart Technician. He made me feel like I was a liar, embarrassed and utterly HURT, because there were other customers (strangers) in line and he didn't even APOLOGIZE for his mistake. He just turned around, walked away and started laughing sarcastically.

    I don't know if that's HOW Walmart trained their employee to be so EVIL and so UNPLEASANT. But somehow he ticked that nerve. I contemplated for so long. I thought I could forgive him. But I can't. THAT SERVICE WAS THE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE. First, they put in a wrong color cap for my oil tank without telling me that they did that. And then secondly they embarrassed me in front of strangers mocking me that I’m a LIAR.

    I love to shop at Walmart. LOVE IT! But I don't think I will ever refer or consider that location to be the BEST for their service. Now I can't change my oil because somehow whatever they did, messed up my oil cap, and now they don't want to do anything to fix it. I'M SO UPSET, SO DISAPPOINTED.. Walmart needs to hire professional, true, and faithful people to provide an above and beyond service to make their customers feel at ease. Not to make them feel embarrassed, disappointed, and hurt. That particular employee (**) ruined the whole Walmart experience for me!

    I went into the Walmart on High Cross Road in Urbana, Illinois to get my light bulb changed. I had to come back the next day and wait because they had put the bulb in wrong and melted the glass so basically I had burning melted glass in my car. The day before, they ended up charging me double and did not catch it until the next day when I went in again. On top of everything, they left my car unlocked and trunk wide open in the middle of the parking lot unattended.

    I'm sorry many of you had problems with Walmart Tire Lube now called Auto Care. I work for a Walmart TLE as a service writer. If one of the technicians broke a part, we tow the vehicle to a shop just down the street from us and pay for it. The bill is faxed to us for claims and the customer is reimbursed if they did have to pay for anything. Of course the techs check the vehicle over for any potential problems to start with so we don't have that, but accidents can happen. (I.e. if you're missing studs we won't perform tire work for that will be unsafe.) The only complaint we get is the wait time, but we are short staffed and cannot make the store hire people.

    The real problem I face in my position is the lack of knowledge people have with their own vehicles. I cannot pull 7 numbers out of the air and just slap on any tires. If you don't know your tire size, I can look it up, but some vehicles have different sizes depending on the rim size. If you don't bring in the car for me to look at the door jam, then I can't give you an accurate quote. Speed rating is another big thing, but the door jam tells you that too and again I can go out and check. For instance my car is a 2000 dodge neon-- I can either have a 185/60r15 or 185/65r14 depending on the trim of the car. (a lot of people can't even tell me what they drive nor a year, or trim).

    Since mine is a base model, it takes the 14 rim size. My speeding rate is a S which is the lowest. I always go higher so I have Kumho Sense with a H rating. I understand people may not know this information on their cars, but don't get snippy with me if you don't bring the car in for me to check. I've had my oil change and tires done even before I worked there. And had been in those shoes not knowing my tire size, but I could at least tell you my year, make, model and trim of by vehicle. Never had a problem with those past techs and don't have any problems with the techs who work on my changes now.

    In June of 2014 I had Walmart rotate and balance my tires, as I was taking a trip to Las Vegas. I was in Vegas for about a week. When I was leaving Vegas to come back home to Mesa Arizona when I heard something hitting the bottom of my car. I pulled over and check to see if I had to run something over. When I stuck my hand under the vehicle I realize that it was my front right passenger tire that was completely shredded. This leads me to believe that they in fact did not complete a tire and balance rotation as the paperwork indicated. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and when the manager of the Walmart made contact with me to blame me for the tire being in the condition that it was and because I didn't report it right away, she felt as though I was lying and trying to get new tires out of her.

    Was having engine problems before I took my CRV in for an oil change. Engine code 0011. My Honda tech diagnosed I had a stretched timing chain and a bad tensioner. Repaired timing chain and tensioner and drove 6 miles and the engine light, and VSA lights come on. Code p2646 Vtec Valve switch. Honda tech replaced Vtec Valve switch. Drove car for another 6 miles and all lights come on - AGAIN code p2646. Honda tech then noticed the VERY small oil filter on my car. Honda tech changed oil and filter and the car runs PERFECT. Went to a different Wal-Mart and asked him what filter my car would take. He said it would be a 7317. I told him that I had taken it to another Wal-Mart and that's not what they put on it. He said wait, maybe they are using the 2014 filter guide book. It determines using a FRAM PH6607 which they installed on my car.

    The filter is about 1/3 smaller than what they were using previously. He also explained how FRAM only makes that filter for Wal-Mart. My Honda tech had told me that the PH6607 would not properly regulate the correct oil pressure throughout my engine and would not work. Who designs, engineers, and determines oil filter size and design for Wal-Mart? How and who test them? How many others have these problems?

    In July of 2014, I purchased a new driver's side front tire for my 2004 Yukon. There were (2) people working in the service bay. It took them 50 minutes to replace (1) tire and they did that wrong. One of the guys spent at least 20 minutes complaining that he was not Wal-Mart Certified and he had been repairing cars for over 20 years. The tire blew out 6 months later.     On January 23, 2015 that same tire that I purchased in July of 2014 had a blowout on the expressway. My family and I were traveling from Wisconsin to Illinois. After contacting roadside assistance they put on our spare but closest location to purchase another tire was the Wal-Mart in Plover, WI (store #01828). We were told that just the problem tire could not be replaced, but that all (4) tires had to be replaced because they were different sizes. I told them to replace all the tires and put the best tire in the spare rim. They said they could not do that because it was against Wal-Mart policy.     We continued our trip to Illinois, after stopping for gas we noticed the front driver side tire was low. I called the service center in Plover, WI and told them the tire was low. They said the tire regulation said it should be at 32 psi, I told them the instructions on the tire stated 51 psi. We drove a little further and noticed the tire was almost flat. We filled the tire to 42 psi and had to continue filling the tire every hour until we reached out destination. Basically we spent the next 3 hours nursing this brand new tire.

    The next day we told our Yukon to a local service center. After inspecting the tire (and the other 3 to be safe) they determined the cause of the problem was an improper bead seal on the rim and tire stem. This was performed at the Plover, WI location was the reason for the continue leaking tire. It was a $25.00 fix. Two incompetent Walmart locations.

    I recently had my oil changed at Wal-mart on Causeway in Brandon FL. After two weeks, my car started knockin' so I pulled over, checked everything and there was no oil. I then started calling Wal-mart to figure out why. Said I would have to make a claim and have it towed to a certified mechanic. So I did what they asked and now a week later, the claims people are still not calling me back, giving me the run around, and now they're saying they closed my claim before they even got video of the oil change. Dealership is saying, Wal-mart didn't do something right and should replace my engine, and now claims is saying they have to watch video first in the meantime. I'm without a car and they just don't care. I'm very unhappy with the way these people work.     I just recently took my Acura MDX to Walmart to have them repair a slow leak in one of the tires. After waiting for several minutes, one of the service guys came out and told me that all four tires needed to be replaced and that I needed a wheel alignment. This was perplexing, because the vehicle had just recently been inspected by a very competent and reliable mechanic to whom I have been going for years, and the tires had all passed inspection.

    I said that I would take the vehicle elsewhere, and I took it to a Pep Boys location not far from where I live, with whom I have done business previously. They told me that all four tires were fine and that they were able to patch the repair, for which they did not charge me. I should note that Walmart did not charge me because they did not perform the repair nor did I purchase any tires from them. However, either someone was not competent or they were trying to extort a sale from me. The tires for this vehicle are very expensive.

    I went to Wal-Mart, December 6, 2014 for an Oil Change to my 2006 Toyota Tundra Engine and purchased 6 qts of oil. Wal-Mart claimed the engine oil change was complete and on December 17, 2014 a loud knock was heard in the crankshaft and/or rod bearings. The Toyota Roseville Auto Service Dealer also heard the noise and wrote up a description on what may have occurred, putting the cause of the problem to the low oil content, causing a possible loss of oil pressure to the crank and rod bearings and thus causing the noise, which will ultimately lead to total engine failure.

    On 12/22/2014 I called CMI-Mark ** and sent him the write-up by the Toyota Dealer in Roseville, CA and Mark with CMI came to the conclusion that Wal-Mart is not at fault and further attempts to reach him or his Supervisor have gone unanswered up to today 1/20/15. I have still not heard back from CMI-Wal-Mart's Insurance Carrier for these issues. So for roughly $40 in oil and labor I'm left with an engine that will blow up in the very near future, without repair of engine replacement. Is there anything you can do to help?

    Went to Wal-Mart to buy new tires for my car and have them put on. Old tires were getting bald but never have had any problem holding air. Pay for 4 Tiger Paws (which are very nice tires, and have very good reviews) and 3 days later, I get a flat tire while driving on the highway and have a little rim damage. I go back to Wal-Mart and the manager tells me that they will put a new tire on, and pay for the rim. He tells me that if it under $200 then they can pay me from in the store, otherwise I would have to go through claims. So I ordered a new rim for $135, just to be told he was wrong and I have to go to claims anyway. 3 weeks later (still less then a month after purchase) a different tire goes flat. This time they said the rim is cracked and they cannot put a tire on it. So I file a claim, just to be told that because I left Wal-Mart with air in my tire, there is nothing worthy of a claim. I have now been stuck on the side of the road in freezing weather twice, have been forced to miss several days of work, and have had to pay out of pocket (even though I was told I would be paid back) and am out of my car for at least a week. Something, as simple as tires, has been a complete nightmare, and Wal-Mart refuses to do ANYTHING to make it right.

    I dropped off my 2005 Town and Country mini van for its oil change while I did grocery shopping. One hour later, I received a call from my wife, telling me that Walmart had called her and told her that they would not be able to change the oil in the van, because they had broke off the dip stick and could not tell how much oil they were adding to the van. I went straight to the tire and lube express, since I was still in the store. I have no idea why they just didn't page me and tell me to come to that department instead of calling my wife at home. Anyway, I took my groceries to that department and checked out. The associate spoke with me and informed me that he had accidentally broken off the dip stick on our van, and for that reason could not perform the oil change and that I would have to take the van some place else to have it fixed.

    So I did take my vehicle down the street to Kauffman tire and brakes. They had to order a new dip stick from the dealership for 30.00 and perform an oil change for a grand total of 100.00. I took the receipt back to Walmart and showed it to the manager. He said that they were not going to pay anything and that he did not care that I had to pay 30.00 for the dip stick that his employee broke while attempting to do an oil change on my van.

    I informed the manager that this van was just one of my four vehicles and that we also spent 26,400-30,000 each year in the Woodstock, GA store. I then told the manager I expected to be reimbursed the 30.00 for the dip stick I had to replace, and he refused. I then shook his hand and said that it had been nice doing business with Walmart and that this would be the last time. Hello Target, Krogers, and Publix. My three new best friends. And now Kaufman Tire will be doing all my vehicle oil changes and repairs in the future. What good business practices this poor Walmart manager has learned.

    I reluctantly went to Trussville, Al Walmart today for an oil change today. I usually go to express oil change, but they were closed today (Sunday). First off I had to wait about 10 min for an attendant to come to my vehicle, only to tell me that I had to go inside to check in because their handheld devices were not working. I checked in and went to do a little shopping. When I returned I paid for my oil change and was told that my keys were in my vehicle!?! Really!!! I got to my vehicle and my doors were locked.     After almost an hour they called me to show me something on my car. I was asked to go downstairs under my car because my drain plug was stripped & they could not do the oil change. The mechanic pointed to the plug & then told me the oil was overfull & clean? I said that’s impossible that it's stripped because I don't have an oil leaks & I check my oil - it was dirty & not overfilled. Then we went upstairs. Normally when a bolt is stripped it happens when you are putting it back in & then you can't tighten it - they said they never removed it?? The guy working on the car said as he was removing it he noticed it was bad?? My husband checked my oil. It's clean & low a half a quart now. He believes that when the tech emptied the oil & broke the plug when putting it back in, then just filled the car with oil to cover himself. That makes a lot of sense to my mechanic also. I will know more tomorrow after it gets to the shop. I will contact Walmart at that time again with my findings.

    I, too, had my daughter take her car to Walmart for an oil change. It died a few days after her oil change. This car had approximately 50,000 miles on it and ran perfectly beforehand. Like others, Walmart said they had video of them putting oil in the car but would not show me the video. I had two mechanics look at the car and both said the same thing - oil did not leak out, the oil was not put back in. There was approximately 1 quart in the engine when it blew. The engine got so hot so fast, the block cracked. This cost me $1,700.00 to get replaced. Walmart insurance said, "Sue us, we're Walmart." They know you cant sue a company who's owners are worth 149 billion dollars. Well you can try, but how much will that cost. If there is a class action lawsuit out there, I want in. I still have my dead engine block and all receipts. I will buy my 3,000.00 dollars a year in groceries elsewhere from now on. Wonder how much that will be over the rest of my life. Will never shop Walmart again. Will gladly pay more and not give another penny to the store that won't take responsibility for its work, and then say they are too big to sue but you can try.

    My wife had gotten off work that morning, after working the overnight shift. Walked outside got into our car, drove over to tle to have an oil change. Which takes 30 min. 15 min after she leaves the car, Walmart pages her to come get the car. Wife leaves to put gas in the car. After putting gas in the car barely moves 5 miles/hr. And now our car will not start nor does it have a spark!!! I was on the phone most of the day with managers at the store, got nowhere doing that. So I called corporate, got told to talk to the district manager. I (had) a talk to him, got nowhere with him either. A lady from the claims department calls, we are suppose to find a mechanic. Then have our car towed from our house to the repair shop, which we feel we shouldn't have to do. Since the car was running when she dropped off, now it's not running. Go figure.

    Yesterday morning, I went to Walmart to get new tires installed 12/18/14. I was the first customer and the only car being service at that time. My truck is a 2011 tan Rav 4 Limited, tires size is 225/65/17. I spoke with tech there and I purchase four new tires. The tech told me, "It will be about 35 minutes until your car is finished." I returned later, tech told me "your car's finished" so I paid . I took a walk around my car to see my new tires and noticed that my rims were damaged during removal and installation of new tires. My rims were a little dirty when I came in, but they had no damage.

    My car has 39,000 miles so these were the first set of tires put on this vehicle since factory ones were installed. I took a ride to car wash to see if this damage was just dirt. Then after I had washed, it was very clear to me damage was worse than originally thought. I left car wash and return to Walmart and I spoke with service manager and explained what had happened. He took a walk outside with me to examine my rims and saw the damage on all four rims. He then told me he would be right back, that he had to talk to store manager. This is Centereach Walmart located on Middle Country Rd in Centereach. So about 20 minutes later, service manger had return.

    He said he had spoke to store manager and they would like to offer me a 25-dollar gift certificate or we would have to go through insurance. I told him I want my car fixed. He went to speak to store manager again, came back, and told me he needs a bill for repairs. I left Walmart and took a ride to Middle Island Toyota so they can do an assessment on damage to rims. I spoke with service adviser John **. He confirmed that damage to rims were caused by Walmart's tire machine. He explained to me that duck head on their tire machine need to be replace and that's what caused the damage. I took pictures of the head on machine at Walmart and it was very worn. John gave me an estimate on repairs. The cost was $125.00 per rim, $500.00 for all four. So I returned to Walmart to drop off estimate and they told me I will be contacted by their insurance company.

    Went to Walmart to just have an oil change. Two days later transmission burned up. Why? They decided to check the transmission fluid on a manual car, which was stated in my receipt that they checked the transmission fluid. The mechanic I took it to said that they failed to properly replace the plug and the car lost the fluid over those two days. $1,800 to replace transmission. Four days of trying to get a response from Walmart (multiple voicemails and emails). And of course Walmart denies this is their fault.

By the way the services they say they provide for a high mileage vehicle, they don't. Forget even getting your windows washed. The worst service I have seen in a long time. So I came to pick my vehicle up and they tell me I owe $400 something. Not the case I have already paid for my tires!!! Horrible, horrible service. The wait alone is unthinkable.     I purchased 4 Dunlop tires online on Black Friday, unfortunately the closest Walmart to my house which is in the Bronx where I could pick up was the Walmart at Edison New Jersey which was an hour and a half from my house. Let's start with that... The email clearly states the tires are available for pick up and there will be a $12 fee per tire to install. When I get there I was ignored for the first 20 minutes by the man at the front desk, he was busy doing whatever he was doing and DID not bother to say "I'LL be with you in a few minutes" (as if that was so hard to come out of his mouth). When this man finally acknowledges the fact that I'M there, I explain to him that I was there to pick up some tires I had ordered and get them installed all of this happened at 3:30 pm and there sign clearly states they were open for business till 7 pm. Well he had the audacity to tell me he couldn't install the tires and that I could go back the next day and get them installed or just take them home with me.

    My first response is "uhhh why! First off I just drove an hour and a half to you and your sign clearly states you close at 7." He DID nothing but rudely tell me "no! I cant get them installed for you." I was so irate at the fact that I had been waiting all that time and drove that far for this bs that doesn't even make sense to me. It literally could have taken them 30 mins the most. One of the mechanics even offered to install them and he told him "no!" So he asks me "are you coming back tomorrow?" I said "no!!!" Again because he clearly doesn't get how far away from this place I actually live. Well then he gets an older lady to try to help me. It took her more than 40 minutes to find my tires. He had to help her find them. In the meantime I'M waiting and there's this lady that sees the situation and tells me "these people are terrible I will never come back here again. They've had my car since this morning for a battery change." Now there is no excuse, with all of the mechanics they have working there, they cant take 10 minutes and change this lady's battery. I knew I was better off never coming back to this place. Well the lady looking for the tires said "I found your tires" and brings only 2 of them out...

    After another 15 minutes I'M like where are the rest of the tires. They both say "ohh I thought you were picking them up tomorrow." "No didn't." I say. "I wasn't returning. I live an hour and half away." This whole time, what part of that DID they not get through??? They rushed out the other 2 tires and I was on my way from crazyslowville. I will never ever order through Walmart website to pick up from any place at all. This has been the worst experience for the service that I received from these people I was better off either getting them shipped straight to my house or buying them elsewhere period. These people lack so much professionalism it's difficult for me to comprehend how they have a job. I was treated like I didn't matter and ignored half the time and had to drive an hour and a half or more in traffic with the horrid smell of 4 brand new tires in my back seat. The smell had my head spinning. I was dizzy and my stomach was turning the whole time from that strong smell in a confined space. I will never deal with any of these people again. Ever. I paid Walmart good money to receive this type of service come on.

    My son took his 1997 Honda Accord to Walmart Tire and Lube Express in Cartersville, GA this past Friday, Dec. 5 for an oil change. Upon check out, he was told his tires were due for a rotation, but other than that, all was well. She checked this on the receipt. Shortly after leaving the service center, he heard a loud knocking coming from under the hood and then noticed the oil light was on. He pulled over and called me. I told him to check the oil and he said it wouldn't even register, the stick was dry. I told him to wait and I would call Walmart. The Walmart service manager said he would go check it out. After waiting 2 hours, my 17 year old son decided to walk to a truck stop and purchased 2 quarts of oil. He put them in the oil reservoir thinking maybe the man wasn't coming. When he turned on the car, he realized the knocking was still there so he called me again. I told him to be patient, the man was almost there.

    Upon arrival (2 hours after I called), the service manager told my son to back the car closer to a ditch so he could get a better look underneath the car. He told my son he really didn't know what was wrong with it and called me. He told me that Walmart would have it towed by Martin's Garage to my home, and that Walmart would pay for the tow and then file a claim. He told my son, "Evidently we forgot to put all the oil in the car. Don't worry we'll get you back on the road as soon as possible and we'll pay for everything." He took pictures of the car, the engine, the 2 empty oil containers, and the receipt. He never gave the receipt back to my son. Two hours later, the tow truck showed up and brought my son and his car to our home. He went all the way to Walmart first to get paid and then brought him home - which means my son was stranded from approximately 3:30-7:30 PM. On Monday, Dec 8th, I received a call from the insurance agent. The insurance agent, Joshua ** , told me that Walmart had a video showing oil was added, and after reviewing the receipt, it appeared that the car had a knocking when we brought it in, a leak in the transmission, and a cracked windshield.

    Therefore, Walmart nor the insurance company would be able to help us or pay for any repairs. This was never verbally mentioned at all while at the service center or while stuck on the road. The car does have a crack in the windshield, but prior to this service visit, we never heard any knocking or saw any leaks. We had no trouble with the car at all prior to the service visit. In addition, I called the service manager back and discussed further with him. Since he clearly heard the knocking sound when he made the road visit, I asked him, "Considering the loud knocking sound you heard, would you have changed the oil or serviced the car?" His answer was an emphatic, "No, not me personally. I would not have serviced that car with it sounding like that." We are at a loss for words and completely stunned. I can only assume that the paperwork may have been changed since the only copy we had was taken back to Walmart. We have not seen a copy of the video but plan to request one.

    I'm not really even sure what to ask other than we plead for you to help us try to get some kind of repair help and/or compensation for my son's car. This is his only mode of transportation to school. He was seeking a job, but without a car, is now at a standstill. We also would appreciate your help in investigating this service center to see if this has happened before or is just common practice. We are just so disappointed and in disbelief. We had a great running car, took it in for an oil change, and now the car is not drivable. We believe the engine is ruined.

    Very upset with my experience with the Belleville Illinois Walmart. Took my car there on 12-4-14 to get an oil change. Drove my car yesterday and this morning to work. Luckily I forgot my lunch at home so at 3:44pm I clocked out for lunch and went out to my car. I saw oil running on the ground but I just figured it was from the car parked behind me. Get in line at the drive thru, right across the street from the store I was working at that day, and my oil light starts flashing and my car dies. This happened 4 more times in the drive thru. Made it back to my job parking lot, parked, got out, looked at the ground, nothing was there. Kept my foot on the brake and gas to keep car from dying, let it run, turned it off, got out, looked at the ground, there was oil everywhere. Looked at the dipstick and there was barely a drop of oil on it.

    Called Belleville Walmart and talked to Curtis and he advised me to take it to the nearest Walmart. I told Curtis I would have to call my boss to leave work to be able to do this since I was scheduled to work until 9. On the drive there the car died several times due to overheating and I was almost hit by a car because my car died mid turn. Got to Walmart in South County where Greg was great and he showed me how the gasket was put on the filter wrong which was causing oil to spray everywhere. Greg spoke to Curtis in Belleville and explained the situation and Curtis said they had reviewed video and admitted it was their fault and would take care of it.

    I got to the Belleville Walmart around 6 and Curtis was very nice and apologetic. He said they would refund my money and give me a $75 gift card. I told him I appreciate that but that doesn't cover my loss of wages, what it's going to cost me to get the engine looked at to make sure the overheating didn't do anything to it, the fact that I was almost hit by a car because of something they did, my headache that I still have because of the stress of all this, I didn't even eat my lunch cause I was so upset and all the time I have wasted up here and the oil damage on my driveway Curtis said I would need to file a claim and to let him talk to Terrance again.

    I asked to talk to Terrance, the ASM over service who Curtis had to keep running back and forth to because the man didn't even have the decency to come out to talk to me about this issue and Terrance was paged several times and never showed up so Curtis and I walked to electronics where Terrance was paged again and another ASM named Michelle, who was very nice, came out and explained that Terrance was gone for the day. That really disgusted me because he not only didn't care enough to come out and talk to me from the beginning but now I'm being told that he's left for the day before this was even resolved. I asked Michelle if the store manager was in and she said he was and I asked to talk to him. Michelle went in back and came back out and said that Warren was in a meeting. Once again not even the store manager cared enough about the situation, a situation that could've gotten me in an accident, to come out to talk to me.

    Someone gave a claim sheet to Curtis to have me fill out, which I did but I feel that with a situation this severe someone in upper management should've had the decency to talk with me. I thanked Curtis, who should be acknowledged because it looked as if he stayed past his scheduled shift to try to help me when no one in upper management cared to. I got my car and moved it to the front of the store and came back in to try to talk to Warren and I spoke with another nice ASM named Sandy, who was also very apologetic and told me that Warren should be in at 7am. I will be going there tomorrow before I have to work to let Warren know how unhappy I am with the quality of service that upper management in that store provided this evening. I could've really been hurt because of a mistake this store made and no one seemed to care except for Curtis. I also called and reported this to the corporate number as well. I feel very disrespected and I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS WALMART EVER AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!!

    I purchased four tires from Walmart and got the warranty with no charge for tire rotation at the time I purchased them. I went there regularly for my oil change and rotated my tires every other time. The last time I went there apparently the mechanic put a different make and size tire on my rear tire. God only knows what happened to my tire that he took off. I didn't notice it until I went to put air in my tires months later (who checks to see if the mechanic put the right tire back on your car?).

    Upon noticing that my car had a different tire put on it I called Walmart’s manager and told him about it. Which took me all morning to do between getting hung up on and waiting for them to find him to answer the phone and leaving a message with a different Manager earlier in the morning. His response was, "Since it happens months ago they (Walmart’s Loss and Prevention) people and their management team decided they weren't negligent and would not be held responsible." They also scratched the inside door panel and attempted to cover it with some sort of oil?

    My warning to anyone who is thinking about going to Walmart for any car repairs --- STAY AWAY. They are NOT trustworthy!!! From this point on I will be going to Big O's or Discount Tire. All the years previous I had used them, never had any problems. I should have stuck with them.

    Friday Nov. 14, 2014, I took my 2002 Volkswagen Passat to 5730 W. Amarillo Blvd Amarillo TX Walmart auto center for tire rotation and oil change. Previously no issues with that vehicle's oil drain plug not tightening or leaking, I returned to Walmart after 2 hours. They informed me that my drain plug was stripped out and could not be removed. I always thought if it was stripped out it could not be tightened, but anyway this was their response. Also they said we damaged my oil filter to the point it could leak, so we went ahead and replaced it with a new one even though they didn't get to change the oil. And they charged me for rotating and balancing my tires. They said I would have to take it to a garage, they recommended a specific one which tells me this wasn't their first incident.

    I first took the car home when I noticed it had an oil leak it never had before. Upon further inspection, they didn't rotate the tires (I had marked them) and there was no weights or indication that they had balanced them. The bent up oil filter which they damaged was still on there too. They recommended I file an insurance claim through their insurance of which a third party administrator handles or is supposed to. If you miss a call from that person, it takes 7 - 10 days for them to get back to you. I've missed 2 and I still haven't talked to them and it’s been 19 days now. Walmart said it would be taken care of in 48 hours. Customer service is no help whatsoever. They say they have nothing to do with it, it’s all handled by their insurance which is a joke. I've tried to consult with the store, Walmart customer service and C.M.I. (Walmart's insurance administrator) with still no results at this point

    Well, this is not the first time. I usually go to do my van oil change at this location. When I get, I ask them how long it takes, he said between 1 hour to hour and half and easy it take them 2:30-2:45. When you ask them "I need to complain, I want to talk to the manager" and it end up the manager who did the oil change. Walmart auto center is the worst place to go to. They are like gangsters. You can't talk to nobody there and they look at you, "that's what we got, take it or leave it." It's a shame on walmart to have extremely bad management like that. The only good thing they have is the price. Otherwise, forget it.

    We had our oil changed and the fuel injection system done back in September and had to go back and have the fuel injection system ran again back it clogged up our exhaust and made it run like crap. We are spending a couple hundred dollars a week in gas to drive it. And we had to pull it home three time. Nothing was wrong with it before we took it there.

    My husband & I took our Honda Element to the Wal-Mart Auto Service in Tarboro, N.C. this morning to have the tires rotated and balanced. We had bought the tires from them about 2 years ago and had at the time purchased the Free Lifetime Rotation & Balance they offer. The tires have approximately 30,000 miles on them now. So, we left the keys with them and went to shop while waiting for our vehicle. After about an hour, we went to check on their progress. We were told they could not do the rotation and balance because the front tires were wearing on the inside edges and the rear tires were wearing on the outside edges.

    This is NOT TRUE! This set of tires was wearing very evenly! The vehicle had just passed N.C. State Inspection a week ago! We had looked at them thoroughly before taking the vehicle to them that morning. The entire time the work order was being written we noticed all the employees hanging around the window, looking into the service writing area. The guys were not doing anything but playing around, joking and laughing with each other. It was obvious that they did not want to do any work and therefore refused to do our rotation & balance! We will never buy any more tires from any Wal-Mart because of this! Tarboro's Wal-Mart sure needs someone to straighten out their Auto Service Dept.! It is the pits!

    Went in today to have 4 tires put on our van. Was told it would be an hour so went to do some shopping. 5 minutes later we were paged to come back to TLE. When we got there, they said that my gear shifter would not go into drive and they refused to work on it. I told them I have never had a problem with the gear shifter and could I go show them that it does work just fine? They said “No, we are done.” I asked for the store manager and the TLE tech said he wanted to stand there to make sure I had my "story straight". After a lengthy conversation that went nowhere, the store manager told the TLE tech to take her outside and show her that the gear shifter was broken. Of course right in front of her it worked just fine. They had no problems pulling it into the bay.

    After being forced to put the tires on my vehicle by the manager and taking up an hour of my time they took another 1 1/2 hours to put the tires on. When I went back to pay I was told that they could only put 3 of the 4 tires on for some bogus reason. By that time I just gave up and said I will just pay for the 4th tire and have my mechanic put it on. It took them another 30 minutes just to pay for it because they tried to charge me for installation and tire removal of the 4th tire that they refused to put on. I will never go there again. I saw them refuse service to two other people who just walked away angry during that time.

    Overcharged, underserviced at Bleachery Blvd, in Asheville, NC - I called the Auto Service department to find out what it would cost to change the oil and filter on my car - which required 0W20 full synthetic motor oil. Was told on the phone it would be around $45. I went to the store - at the counter I was told the cost would be $49.99. When I told the service person that I was quoted $45, he just said they made a mistake. So I said to go ahead. Was told it would take about one half hour, since I was first in line. When I came back a half hour later, they had hardly started. 20 minutes later I get the bill, $56.89. I objected since I was quoted $49.99. Was told that the 0W20 required a fill with a container which required an additional charge. I objected and was told a manager would have to approve. I said, fine. After about 20 minutes, including 4 calls for a manager, who never showed up, I paid the amount and left. This is the very, very poor level of service that this Walmart store is providing. Obviously I left very dissatisfied. I wonder if anyone bothers to read these reviews and complaints at Walmart. In any case, let the buyer beware. I for one would not go back to this store for anything, except perhaps a refund.

    I visited the Troy, Alabama Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Center yesterday afternoon to have my tires rotated and balanced. I was told it would take awhile, and I told them that was fine and I went into the store to get my shopping done. Approximately 45 minutes later, I was paged to return to the automotive department. I asked the guy who paged me what was wrong and he stated that all he was told was to page me. He then opened the window and asked one of the technicians what was wrong, then turned to me and said, "Your tires are dry-rotted and they won't touch them." I told the guy that was not true and he told me to go out and talk to the technician. I walked out into the car bay and waited for someone to come over to talk to me.

    I waited a few minutes and no one came over. One of them looked at me, but no one spoke. I finally stopped one of them and asked what was going on. He got an attitude and told me that my tires are six years old and dry-rotted. I told him to just give me my keys and I'd leave. I went back into the store and quickly finished my shopping and left. I checked my tires when I got home and I had my father check them as well. We agreed that there was no dry-rot. I took my vehicle to another tire shop and dealer this morning and had the tires rotated and balanced and the technician said nothing about any issues with them.

    When he was finished I asked him if he saw anything wrong. He told me he didn't, so I told him what the Wal-Mart technician said. He checked the tires again and told me there was nothing wrong and I have a good bit longer before I need new tires. I will never again use Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Center. They are lying and manipulating customers in order to sell products. I thank God I know enough about vehicles and tires to not fall for such despicable business practices.

    When I brought my car to get an oil change, balance and rotation and a nail hole repair, the mechanic said it would "be about an hour." It took two and a half hours to complete the job and when they were "finished" that hadn't even rotated the tires! The mechanic said "he was only supposed to balance the tires". I said "well I paid for a lifetime tire rotation too" and the mechanic said "don't worry I'll go ahead and take care of this for you". When I got there there was ONE car in the garage.

    They totally messed up my car and then worse failed to accept responsibility for it. The manager that attempted to resolve the situation spoke lies throughout the conversation in an attempt to cover up their mistake...I am disgusted by the whole ordeal and regret that I had the poor judgement to take my car to walmart for an oil change...I figured they couldn't mess up an oil change could multi-task and take care of some shopping, boy was I wrong...Horrible experience...tacky management...wasn't the auto manager but he was a manager at the store...I guess...but from the conversation he sounded more like an employee playing manager because his whole attitude and demeanor was baiting, petty and trifling.     My wife took her 2009 Traverse into Walmart IN Angleton, TX for a simple service. When picking the vehicle up she was told that a "check charging system" error was showing on the dash. Long story short I checked it when I got home from work and the warning message was off but the alternator and wiring around it were covered in oil. Took them nearly 30 minutes to come outside just to deny it ever happened. They claimed the video doesn't show any oil being spilled and that it must of happened somewhere else. So before I ended up saying or doing something I regretted I just left. The alternator cost me $162 and 2 hours of my time. I won't be shopping at Walmart again.

    I went to a Walmart located in Addison Tx, for an oil change and rotate my tires. I was waiting in the office for my car, after an hour they told me that my car was ready. I asked how much is the total and I paid the ticket. The rep gave me my car keys and I left the store. After 15 min I received a call and a rep told me "hey ma'am your car is ready", I told her "yes I know my car is ready I am driving my car, thank you!" Min after I received another call and that person was yelling me and she said "I will fine you, I will call the police", and I was like "what are you talking about?" and the person said, "you left the store without pay your bill, you have until 5pm to pay your bill or I will call the police". I replied "I have my ticket but give me 5 min I will go to your store".

    I was so upset for the way that the employee talked to me, when I got to the store I asked for the manager, and one of the associates called the person who called me. I told her that is not the way to talk to a customer, why she yelled at me and she said that she was doing her job and that is the way that she talks to the customers and because I left without paying my bill he called me. I showed her the ticket and explained to her that how I could left the store if they have my car keys, obviously I got my keys after I paid for the service. She replied that there were 2 order tickets and I just paid for one of them and I have to make sure to paid everything before I left the office, I explained to her that I do not work for Walmart, I asked how much was the total and I paid for it. The employee instead apologized, called the police, and she explained the police that somebody called me to let me know that there was another ticket that I did not paid and all I said was, "I already have my car. That is not true, the person never mention anything about a second ticket, all she said was that my car was ready", she changed the words.

    When I asked for that employee they told me that the employee was on lunch and when I told them that I want to wait for her, the police told me that I was harassing the employee and I have to leave the store. The police told me that I need to leave the store immediately otherwise he has to arrest me. He added, "you can't come back to this store - if I see you in this store I will need to arrest you", he said that I was disturbing the peace. This situation is so unreal and I am so upset that at this point Walmart did not take any actions regarding this situation. I opened a case 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for a response.

    I took a flat tire to Walmart on Sept. 28, 2014 to be repaired. It took 2 hours to fix this flat and put it on my car. I looked into the service window several times, and the guys were standing around talking to each other. My tire was sitting there by my car ready to be put on. After asking the guy at the desk what was going on, they finally finish my car. I get home, they could not even put the spare tire where it goes. Me being over 65 yrs. old had to pick the spare out and put it where it belongs. They finally get more guys in to work and one does not know what the other one is doing. They really need a manager in there that can straighten things out and run it like a service or tire center.

    They say they open 7:30. I arrived 7:42. The door at the auto service center was still locked. They unlocked the door around 7:50. I came in I was the first one, there was nobody there yet. I waited 5 minutes for the attendant, then I said I want to change the battery and rotate the tires. He entered my info and he said I'll have to wait a few minutes till after 8 for a technician. In the end about 8:20, the attendant himself was the one who brought my car in to change the battery. If I would work at my job with that speed I would've been kicked out head first in a second.

    Anyway, he looked like not in the mood of doing anything that day and I was right because he came in and said that he won't do the tire rotation because one front tire is starting to wear on the inside, which is very much untrue. But I figured if someone is not in the mood of doing something then don't have him do it because it's going to be worse than before, but interestingly enough he wrote on the receipt that I declined to rotate the tires. So it's all my blame, get it? So for changing a battery and arriving there almost 7:30, now as I'm writing this, it's 9:15. I think I said enough.

    I brought my car to the Union Landing Walmart to have a nail pull and repair from one of my tires. I was told it be around an hour and half. That was reasonable. It was 8:30am on a Saturday so it figured I can do some shopping. At 10:00am I went into the tire center to check on my car. At that time I was that the tire tech will not be in until 11:30. WTF!? Why wasn't I told this in the beginning so I wouldn't be wasting my day off? But I did wait until the tire tech came in, only to be told that she couldn't pull the tire because my tire was too worn. I was frustrated that I had to lose my morning to be told that. If that was the case when I first brought the car in, I may have brought new tires if need be. The following weekend I brought my car to Big O. They repaired the punctured tire and rotated my tires. The entire process was about one hour and half. Wal-Mart Tire Center - worst auto experience ever!

    Noticed smoke coming from under the car on way to vacation. Stopped at a service station. They found the oil filter barely hanging on. This was a day after a oil and filter change at Eatonton Ga.     Went in for new tires at my nearby Wal-Mart. My wheels had no scratches or dings in them before this. Got back home and was looking at my new tires and noticed two wheels now had a few spots of damage on them. Then I noticed that the areas that were no longer pristine were near where they had removed the old balance weights, not where the weights used to be but 3 to four inches in toward the center like whatever tools or method they were using to remove the old ones they had not yet mastered. This is the first time I have ever had cosmetic damage on wheels having tires replaced and if I go back and complain I would have to prove that It was their shop that caused the damage.

    A small price to pay to discover this consumer affairs site where so many people have had much, much worse and very costly damage done to their vehicles not to mention the potential consequences to their personal safety, their passengers and others on the road. I will not be going back there for auto service of any kind or at any of the other locations. Since I no longer trust their work I will have to check the tire pressure and the lug nuts myself just for some peace of mind. Good thing it's only been a few hours since the work was done. Thanks Wal-Mart for putting your signature on my pristine wheels. It would have been even more aggravating if I had brought in a megabucks sports luxury vehicle, or pickup and will continue to change my own oil!!!

    Went to Oakland Walmart for two tires for my daughter’s car who was home for the weekend. It took two men, one was the manager over one and a half hours to change two tires. While doing so they broke tpms. The manager said someone else had broken it before when the tire had been changed or she had hit a pot hole and broke it. I informed him they were factory tires and had never been changed and no way hitting hole could have broken it without damaging tire or wheel also. And then I informed him that I watched other man from the gate in garage area and had saw him break the tpms. His reply was that it could not be broken by changing the tire after just saying that someone else had broken it this way.

    I informed him that I had worked in tire shops and watching his tire tech it appeared to his first day on the job. Two more managers and a phone call later they replaced the tpms no charge. The next day my daughter on her way back to school ten hours away call and said her tire pressure light was flashing and then stayed on. She will have to take it somewhere near her school and have repaired. I have had problems every time I take a car to Walmart for tires. This is last time.

    My husband went to get an oil change Tuesday. August 26th. Everything was fine with the oil change but two days later, when he went to work (as a local DJ) he was missing his Beats pro headphones. He worked Sunday night and along with all of his other sound equipment, they were in his car. So, the only conclusion is that someone stole the headphones during the oil change.

    I called Thursday night and the manager on duty said he would get loss prevention to look at the surveillance tape and call us back. The next day, Friday, and another manager over Oil and Lube said she had looked at the tape and nothing was removed from the car. So on Saturday my husband went to Walmart and talked to three different types managers, all of which are denying any involvement and won't allow us to see the video. These headphones are $500 and don't have the money to replace them but he works every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is now without them.

    Two weeks ago I took my car 2002 Chevy Malibu to Walmart for an oil change! This was the first oil change for the car since I purchased it 3 months ago! After driving off, my oil light came on. (I hadn't left the store yet.) I drove it around the block thinking that the light would go off and it didn't. I took it back to the store and talked to the manager and he had another tech look at the car. They told me that my sensor was bad but reassured me that there was accurate oil in the car! I drove it home. By the next day, the oil light was off, but now there was a knock. The knocking got progressively louder. I have called the store and have gotten no response! Now I am without a car! With three kids, and little to no income, trying to find work, and take my kids to school, I am once again without a car that I just purchased using my last in savings. Now what am I suppose to do? Thanks Walmart. I just lost $2300.00 in three months because of your incompetence. The least you could have done was return a call!

    When I went to buy tires at Walmart today, I was told that if I don't have them installed there that the warranty would be voided. Is this correct??? From the sounds of prior posts on here, it sounds like my husband probably has more experience installing tires than some of Walmart's employees. My husband has the equipment and has installed his own tires for years. We have purchased tires from Walmart before and were never told that we had to have them installed there to have the warranty be valid. By the way, they are non-directional tires, which means they can be installed either side out... No way to screw install.

    We bought new tires on 8/15/14 for a 2003 Dodge Dakota for the safety of our son (16 years old) who just received his license 2 days prior. He was driving by himself Sunday evening (8/17/14) and one of the back tires CAME OFF the truck!!! I just now noticed on the bottom of the receipt it states to HAVE YOUR LUG NUTS RETORQUED AFTER THE FIRST 50 MILES!!!! This was never told to us. This is such important information - why isn't this mentioned to the customer. The receipt we received was not signed by me!! We are very lucky this child was not hurt. This could have been a very serious accident that could have been prevent if the customer was informed. I don't know the damage yet to the truck but this could have cost my son his life. He was going to be traveling on the interstate in the morning (Monday) from his father's house to school (40 miles). This is very bad business. I have read of others who have also experienced the same incident. Please tell me what Wal-Mart will do to prevent this from happening to others? This could cost people their lives!!!

    I simply went to Walmart to get a new tire and use my old one for a spare. First they put my spare rim on my new tire. After I told them, they corrected that problem. After driving about a mile, I noticed my car wasn't riding as smooth. I checked my tire and saw they put the wrong size tire. When I went back they put the right size tire. As I began to drive off, my car was making a weird squeaking sound. The mechanics witness my car was not making any noise prior to coming there. The managers were insensitive and simply said the thing they can do is have me fill out an incident report. I had plans to leave town for a family reunion but now I'm stuck here in California after spending four hours for a simple tire change. I am outraged and need some assistance on what I should do.

    We were in West Union, Ohio. My brother-in-law tried to get the tires replaced on his car because the threads broke and the tire was ready to blow out. The department refused to replace the tire because a lug nut and stud were broken. So they sent him down the road with a tire ready to blow out. This could result in a blowout that could cost him his life. It's nice to know they think of their customers enough to refuse service and let them drive with unsafe tires.

    I took my 97 Nissan Altima in for an oil change and lube and was declined. It was stated by the supervisor that I had a very serious oil leak. MAN, it was leaking from the oil filter and leaking from the oil pan and everything. No it wasn't, it was a quart low and the leak comes from the top and it is a small leak, requiring me to add oil every 3-4 weeks. I called corporate and complained and a few days later, the manager of automotive called me and wanted to know what happened. I told him everything and he began rationalization, he then threw corporate under the bus and said it was a corporate regulation. I just don't believe that, I just don't believe it. He closed the conversation by saying all the techs are certified. My complaint was with the one making the decisions that day. The techs are great.

    I got lured into the low price tires advertisement of Walmart and ordered two tires for my car, and began the two week long worst shopping experience of my life. The guys at Walmart promised that I should come back after the networking day and the tires would be there. Sounded very professional to me. They also said, they would call back as soon as the tires were there. So I waited the whole next working day and called in the evening. They said they were sorry, it sometimes take a bit more time. I was ok with it, so I let it go. Next day same thing...next day same thing......next day same thing. It was a week. I called them again and they said, they can't see my order and they will fix it asap. I still let it go. 10 days later I called again, same story! The tire was not there and they promised that they would call me as soon at it reaches.

    Nobody in the world still knew what went wrong with it. At this point I should have gone to another place for my tires, but as I still had to suffer more I decided to give it another shot. Worst mistake of the year! It was two weeks from the day of the order and I decide to call them, they answered that they cannot see my order. This made me actually go to the store to show them the "quote" they had given me to even prove that I had ordered tires. Now they had to accept that I had ordered tires but could not do anything. They accepted that tires were ordered, but nobody knows, whether they were delivered or if they were delivered, they were lost/sold in the store. No explanation of any sort was provided.

    I waited there to speak to the floor manager. He was as lost as I was and could not help me (I don't know if they really know anything about the Walmart system). He was rude and showed an attitude, like he does not care and if I wanted I could go to another place. Only thing he suggested was to call the customer care, which is another ordeal that I choose to go through. I called the customer care and the girl really could not help, so she kept me on hold for long and then purposefully disconnected. I called again to finally talk to the supervisor, who kept repeating the same stuff, that they "do not know anything about how the order failed".

    The funny part was that they "again promised that they can reorder and get it on next working day". This time I was saner and refused another ordeal. The amount of time and energy that I have already spent on this is way more than what I could ever save by using cheap tires all my life. Anybody who has any value for time or professionalism, please do not visit Walmart.

    I took my car in about 4,000 miles (5 months) ago to get a standard oil change at Walmart (my biggest regret to date). I rarely drive my car (only to work and back) and check my oil periodically to make sure I'm not low. On my way to work last week, in rush hour traffic, the oil light blinks on & the engine light comes on. I pulled over and my car locked up. It wouldn't turn back on. I called AAA to tow me to the closest dealership where they told me that the oil canister wasn't screwed on tightly enough - they said it looked as if it had been done by hand instead of using the appropriate tool for the job and there was oil "everywhere."

    I do have an extended warranty with my car (2008) and even though the service tech at the dealership told me they wouldn't cover it because it was WALMART'S fault, they still had an adjuster come out to look at my engine. If you guessed that the adjuster said the same thing, you're right. The oil filter had been screwed on by hand rather than with a tool, which caused it to come loose slowly over time & lucky for me and everyone around me, I was able to veer off of the freeway safely before my engine completely locked and 275 South turned into a news story.

    Now my car is stuck at the dealership and I'm getting the run around from Walmart. First they need me to come in and talk to a manager because the auto shop techs can't form a complete sentence, then they need me to come back and write a written statement, but they want to leave before I get off of work, so I have to come the next day... It's just been a nightmare. I want to shout it off of a mountain top: DO NOT EVER GO TO WALMART FOR ANYTHING CAR RELATED EVER EVER EVER!! ! I'm kicking myself because of this. After reading similar complaints on here it is becoming more and more apparent that I will end up in small claims court. What a nightmare.

    Took two of my work trucks in. 1 diesel and 1 gas engine. They had to come ask me where my diesel oil filter was. Put 3 quarts of oil, too much in the gas engine. Took them 2.5 hours. Then I drive the diesel to Alabama a week later and luckily make it to my hotel because for some reason it was 6 quarts low and my engine locked up!

    Oil & filter were changed on my auto at the Aiken, SC Walmart on 1/31/2013 @77,500 mi. On 3/26/2014 @ 84,700 mi, my wife was driving when the "Check Engine Oil Light" came on. She drove a short distance to reach a safe place to stop. The engine shut off & wouldn't restart. Investigation revealed the oil filter had fallen off the engine. I submitted a claim stating I held Walmart responsible since their associates were the last people to change the oil. No oil changes were performed between 1/31/13 and the date the engine seized. CMI replied that their "investigation" indicated neither Walmart nor their employees were responsible for my "alleged" loss. They stated further, the vehicle had been outside the care of Walmart for 14 months AND they said there was no evidence showing Walmart personnel were the last to have serviced my vehicle.

    The Buick Dealership, my repair shop and the Walmart Service Manager all agreed a properly installed oil filter should never fall off the engine. If CMI agrees with their expertise, there is only one reason they can state, Walmart is not responsible for my car's damage and it is this: They are taking the position that I AM LYING when I say no oil changes were performed on my vehicle between 1/31/13 (Walmart Changes Oil & Filter) and the loss of the my filter on 3/26/14! I believe claims against Walmart Automotive, and there are many claims similar to mine being denied by CMI, can only be resolved via the Legal System. This can be pursued via Small Claims Ct. in many states or the Magistrate's Court in SC. I am considering this path to obtain compensation for the loss of my vehicle which was valued at $3500-$4000.

    2004 - always changed oil myself, decided to have it done short of 3k miles on brand new jeep. The left cap off spilled oil all over and wreck paint on underside of hood and top of cowl. Wanted to give me a free oil change for $509-$1000 worth of damage. 2011 - did oil change on 2007 PT Cruiser with 40k miles, cork screwed plug cost me another pan and labor at Chrysler dealer.. unresolved..... Swore I'd never use them again. 2014, bought 4 new tires, put weights on outside.. My fault on putting ill fitting hub caps on, one flew off. 100 bucks had them rebalance the car and lifted it where I told them not to, resulting in susceptible damage which is why I told them to stay away from that area or use floor jacks and not the lift.

    I purchased 2 tires from Palm Springs store on 11/13/13. I have driven under 200 miles on the 2 new tires I purchased. On Wednesday 5/30/14 the tire was flat. I took the tire to Walmart in Palm Springs. Ca. A serviceman filled the tire up with air; I asked if there was a leak or was there a nail or something in the tire? The serviceman said, “I don’t see anything or hear any air coming out of the tire.” I asked him to dip the Tire in water to see if we can see bubbles. How in the world would he know what is wrong with the tire? The car was not even off ground.

    Also another Walmart employee was laughing at him. He said, “I HAVE TO CHARGE $20.00 TO CHECK TIRE.” Is this a way TO TREAT A CUSTOMER WHO SPENT OVER $200.00 ON TIRES THAT CANT HOLD AIR AFTER A FEW MONTHS? The next morning the tire was flat again. I took the tire to another tire shop who fixes tires for free whether you purchased or not. WALMART CHARGES TO FIX THEIR OWN MERCHANDISE. They told me the tire had been fixed before, not by me.

    Went back to Walmart, they checked the tire and said there were 3 patches in the tire. Perhaps the tire got put into stock by accident as I had no flats or problems until 5/30/14, now there is 3 patches in my new tire. The auto dept. mgr. said she would fix replace the tire if I pay a pro-rated fee and buy a warranty. I do not want the defective OR MANUFACTURER’S DEFECTIVE TIRE ON MY CAR. I paid good money for it and did not get what I am paying for. I am 73 years and cannot take a chance of putting a defective or manufacturer’s defective tire on my car and will not except THE PATCHED TIRE.

    IF THIS ISSUE IS NOT TAKEN CARE OF BY 6/5/14 I WILL PURCHASE 2 NEW TIRES FROM ANOTHER REPUTABLE TIRE SHOP AND SEE WHAT a SMALL CLAIMS COURT Judge has to say about this case. Everyone should take these types of issues to small claims court not only to get what you pay for and to let your neighbors see what a Judge thinks of this behavior.

    I went to Walmart to fix my tire that had a nail in it. Was told they could not fix it. It needed to be replaced. I agreed and they installed a new tire to my rear passenger. My car bounced all over the place at every bump crevice and uneven dimple in the road on my way home. I live 7 miles away. I got online to find out some of the possible causes and one said over inflated tires could be the reason. Simple enough I wanted to find out myself before I called and brought it back in. My paperwork states that all 4 tires pressure had been checked and they were all at 26 psi. My brand new tire gauge said my new tire was 36psi the driver side tires were 37psi n my front passenger side was at 40+. Psi almost double the required amount.

    I had noticed that that one looked a little low prior to bringing it in. I immediately released air out of each one but my car still wasn't driving right so I called them and told them the problem and came back in. The tech that worked on the car kept changing his story. He said he didn't touch the other tires at all but then I pointed out the paperwork states you did. He said he did then he didn't put air in my tires. They still had to release air on all 4 to get 26psi. But my car's front end still bounces all over and now I need to have someone else look at it to see what damage they did. My car came in one way and left damaged. The tech did not know what he was doing at all. Putting that much air in my tires then stating they were 26 psi was a gross negligence that could had caused a serious accident or death. Now my car has major damage and they need to be held responsible and pay to get it fixed. I need some info on how to file a lawsuit or claim against Walmart.

    For years, I've been purchasing my tires at Walmart because their price was reasonable and it was convenient to have it done while I did my grocery shopping. Also, I travel for work and there is always a Walmart nearby for the lifetime wheel balancing and tire rotations. I had my vehicle serviced today because I'm about to leave on a 1250 mile trip. The garage which is owned by a good friend informed me that all 4 of my Goodyear tires are dry rotted. He suggested I take my receipts back to Walmart and speak to the tire center manager and they should pro-rate my next set of tires.

    The tires that are dry rotted still have plenty of tread. I was informed at Walmart that it must have been the bad winters that caused the dry rot. This is very ironic seeing how I spend most winters down south where there is no snow or salt!! I was also asked if I used any cleaning agents on my tires and when I informed them I use tire white whitewall cleaner, he said that was the cause of the dry rot on the tires. Very disappointed Walmart!!! Won't be buying tires from you anymore!!! Thanks for nothing!!!

    About two or three weeks ago, I went into the TLE shop at Walmart on Hwy 65 in Conway to try and get a leak fixed in my tire. They told me they would try to fix it so I went about my shopping. About 10 minutes later I was called back to the TLE shop. A young man I believe his name was Jeremy or something close to it came out and explained to me he couldn't patch the tire due to the hole being in the sidewall and suggested I buy a new tire. He was very professional and explained why extremely well. he has restored my hope in Walmart!!!

    My car had a tires with a hole in it, so I took it to the Wal Mart on Portage because it was closer than driving half way across town to get the tires fixed. When I got there, staff was very much of willing to help fix the problem. I was called to the auto department and was informed that my tires in the front on the passenger side had some wear and tear and soon would give me problems. I asked the man that I was talking to what would he suggest he told me that he would replace the tires. I replied and said okay. I was called again and come to find out that whomever owned my car before me and whomever put the tires on put the stud on way too tight. So, the guy told me that I needed to get another stud and that his supervisor highly recommend him not to touch it. I forgot what it was that I needed, so I got something that I didn't need and brought the car back. Well we came to the conclusion that I should just brake it, so I did give the okay for them to brake it and that I would bring the car back at a later day.

    The staff informed me that it was safe to go anywhere and it was safe to go on the highway without that stud. Since then I have been to Michigan and my co worker had a fit because he informed me that when I am high speed it unloosens all the other parts on the tires. I did not have no idea that I was putting myself and my three year old at danger. I went and got the part and tried to take my car back. I was informed rudely by staff there on Wednesday that they do not fix or put studs on cars. So, when I began to question the staff about it, he told me that I had to take the car to some other place and to let them do it and then bring all the receipts back to Wal Mart. Then he called me back and left me this rude voice mail stating that I gave them permission to brake the stud. I am not debating that, but what I am debating is that, this is not the first time that I have been to that Wal Mart and have felt down right disrespected and spoken to like a nobody. I go to Wal Mart and spend hard earned money. I go to that Wal Mart every two weeks on Friday and buy money orders and pay bills and buy clothes and so on. Not anymore.

    I took my car in for a basic oil change, my car is basically new so it just needs minor upkeep. After getting my oil changed, I started hearing a noise coming from the car that concerned me, so I took my car to Burlington Kia (where I purchased) to see what the problem was. The mechanic looked at the car and noticed my car did not have the appropriate amount of oil in the car, due to a leak because Walmart did not install the filter properly and the was leaking out of the car (have a report from mechanic stating this). The mechanic said if I would have delayed with bringing the car in to find out what the problem was my engine would have seized. So my $30.00 oil change because of Walmart's negligence turned into a $300.00 bill. My mother brought paperwork to the store, supervisor and head mechanic although on paper did not want to own up to their faults and said it was my problem.

    I then proceeded to talk to the store manager where he gave me a 1-800 number to call and a claim number. This was in October, I called the gentleman at Claims Management on several occasions and to date have not received any settlement, or written information in regards to what is going on with my case. When the gentleman did call, he would leave a message with no information on what was going on. I returned his call and would only get his voicemail, he would NEVER answer the phone. This claims rep might have called me maybe 3 times since October. I can't believe the people that work at this company are so unprofessional. My next step will be to write a detailed letter to the president of Walmart so he can be advised what type of employees he has representing his store.

    I do not speak for Walmart and am no longer employed there. I started at a new Walmart before grand opening. A good 6 out of 7 of the TLE employees told upper mgmt time and time again that they needed training and every time we were told that our training would be on customers cars after we opened. When we opened we were told training was when we set up and stocked the store. After opening a bunch of untrained 20-year-olds were set loose with maybe 5 min a day of supervision. As for it taking two hours to get 4 tires and an oil change that's normal. If you can get it done faster any place else why go to Walmart? To save money? You get what you pay for. When you have no training and pissed off customers staring at you, you make mistakes especially when most of the day you're wondering if you're going to be able to buy food on this week's check making $8 an hour and trying to see anything out of cheap oil soaked disposable safety glasses that must last your entire stay at Walmart.

    Today, I went to Walmart in Gulf Shores, AL to get an oil change and tire rotation. I was the first person in the department. I asked for an oil change and my tires rotated. It took one (1) hour and 15 minutes for oil change and tire rotation, after which I found out they will only rotate tires if they balance them after I went back to pick up my car. I asked them for a sticker for 5,000 miles and they told me they couldn't do that either, I could only have one for 3,000 miles. This cost me $78.00!!!! I will NEVER return to Walmart for this type of service again. I would encourage everyone to seek oil change services elsewhere. Their service left much to be desired that is for sure.

    Took three hours to put on three new tires and during the process broke one of my Tire Pressure monitoring Systems on one tire. When they were finally done, they did not charge me the correct amount so I had to go back. Then a few days later, my TPMS stops working so I had to go back a third time. Only to be told they don't have the proper tools to reset my TPMS so I should go to the car dealership and have them reset my TPMS. I asked the lady won't the dealership charge me and she said no they shouldn't.

    Wow! It would have been nice to know before I paid except they mislead you by saying they can do this. So basically I was mislead and now I have to have someone else finish their job. I also purchased their warranty for my tires and now if I ever need a patch, I will have to go somewhere else to have my TPMS set. Would have been nice to know this from the beginning because I would have taken my car to a place that would be able to provided the actual service they promise. I would not recommend going to a Walmart Tire Center ever.

    Took my car for an oil change. By the next morning, my oil light was on, and all my oil leaked out within a two mile drive. I did not know this was happening, of course, until the engine seized in the middle of a busy street. Turns out they did not put the filter on right because there was NO filter on it when the two truck driver and mechanic looked at it. My car had to have the engine replaced! Their insurance company would only authorize a used engine, of course, and it took over a month to get my car back. They are not under the insurance commissioner's watch because it is private insurance. Don't get an oil change from Walmart!

    I went to get a battery for my car replaced today, 1/8/14, at the Walmart here in Oskaloosa. My brother had problems with this TLE a few months back when he came through town to visit and wanted to get his tires replaced and was told it was not possible an hour after he got there because of some random reason that made no sense at the time.

    I went in to get this battery due to my current car battery being so weak after the polar freeze going on in the Midwest that it would not start and couldn't hold a charge. I figured since I had not replaced yet it was due for a new battery. I checked online to see whether or not they had the battery my car needed. The website confirmed they did. I am very glad I did this, because when I went in with my daughter and were checked in, we were shopping and got called right back into the auto department not five minutes later. The tech came out and said that they did not carry the correct battery for my vehicle. To which I told him I had looked online and saw for myself they had this battery in stock. In fact, we were standing right in front of it! I pointed it out to him and he said he did not think that was the right battery and went to look in the book to make sure and sure enough, it was the correct battery. He asked me if I wanted to put this battery in my vehicle or not (Uh, YEAH? Why else would I be here?) and he went out to put it in.

    We finished shopping and came back 30 minutes later to see it was not finished yet. We waited around, and another tech there was glaring at me and making me uncomfortable yet didn't say a word to me, just flirted with a couple of girls who came in to get a battery. Finally, my car was finished after 15 minutes of waiting. I went to pay and while another woman was ringing it up (she was polite and gracious to me), the guy was glaring at me still. When I finished, the tech working on my car had me sign something with stated I should come back in for a re-torque on my tires after 50 mi because the battery in my car is placed behind the wheel well and he had to remove some stuff to get to it and replace. This made me uneasy.

    Then when I was getting my receipt, the glaring tech knocked some random keys in my direction as if to say "get out of here". I looked at the keys, stated, "Those aren't mine," turned and walked away. I got my car keys five minutes later and got out of there, but not before I was told by the tech working on my car that my car was 'the hardest battery replacement he has ever done'. This kind of says a lot about how many times this guy has been doing this kind of work and the experience with different cars he has. I would never get my oil replaced here, seeing the lack of experience and knowing how low they were paid I feel dumb for going to Walmart for anything vehicle related but since they are so close (less than half a mile) from me, I had no other choice, my battery was finished. Just wanted to warn people in the area to be more cautious and go to Kwik Lube or something instead of TLE here.

    On 12-3-13, bought left front tire for my Mazda pick up. Vermillion, SD Walmart put on the new tire. On 1-2-14, driving to Sioux Falls, SD and my left front tire fell off almost causing me to lose control. Needless to say, the lug studs snapped and tire fell off going down the highway at 60 MPH. Had to have it towed to Ford Garage and based on their experience, they state that some bolts appeared to be cross-threaded and all were over-torqued. Resulted in extensive damage to the underbody of my pickup. Per Walmart Vermillion, SD, they have an insurance company called CMI in Arkansas and adjuster Josh state it is not the fault of Walmart and denied the claim. Needless to say, we will let a judge determine in small claims court. We have a mechanical engineer that states that the bolts weren't loose because they would have had a wobbling effect on the rim hole. The bolts just snapped.

    Wanted an oil change on my 2001 Allroad Audi. Got checked in with no problem. After shopping for 20 minutes I heard my name on the store speaker. Was told they couldn't change my oil because my oil gauge wasn't working right. I don't have a pressure gauge so I asked the"tech" to show me. He starts the car and points to my Oil Temp Gauge. He didn't know the difference. I asked, "Can we change it now?" He had to ask the "supervisor", some gal hiding in a room/office and came out saying that they could not change my oil because my car doesn't have an oil pressure gauge. I told them this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I worked at an auto service shop years ago, you don't need a pressure gauge to know how to check if you put the right amount of oil in a car.

    At least they could have lied to me and said they didn't have my filter but to use a stupid excuse about an oil pressure gauge shows me they have been sued and apparently don't know how to change oil. Not only have they lost my business for my autos, forever, but I would ask people to think twice before having a non-skilled mechanic working on your engine. Just imagine if they put tires on your car. Can you trust them?

    I went to Wal-Mart in Rochester, NH to get two new front tires. I was told it was going to be a 2 hour wait. I didn't mind the wait because there was a car in front of me and I was also getting an oil change. So, everything goes smoothly as far as I know...I get my car, I drive it home. About 10 days later on 11/30/2013 I am driving to work I got to turn off the highway and I hear this noise. It sounded like something had fallen off my car. I get out, look around and don’t see anything. It was at that point when I realized my right front tire that had just got replaced was pushed into my fender...Now my fender is cracked.

    I have a 96 Saturn so the car is plastic which means that fender will have to get replace because it is now shattered. I later realized that my tie rod had blown out; the strange thing about this is that I just replaced this exact tie rod in October. The tie rod is brand new and held fine until I got new tires...something about this is not right. Wal-Mart checked my alignment...which means they would of had to loosen my tie rod, so maybe they didn't tighten back correctly? I'm not sure, but I am definitely not impressed and they will be hearing from me again until I am reimbursed. I will be taking pictures of the damages. Not impressed by any means.

    Walmart has changed the oil on my 2008 Avalon since new. I decided recently to start doing the job myself (as I have always done to my other cars & trucks). I bought the special oil filter, wrench oil filter & oil....When attempting to loosen the oil filter plug to drain the oil before removing filter, the entire canister turned! The plug was frozen into the canister...I took the canister to Walmart...It took 2 men with wrenches to loosen the plug. Seems they had (as they admitted) simply used the plug to loosen & tighten the canister...The small rubber gasket had never been changed! By the way, there was no gasket on the oil plug either. I don't know what kept it from leaking! Best to do the job yourself or take your newer cars that use this type of filter to someone who knows what they are doing!

    Walmart store in Hoover, Alabama filed a damage claim on my behalf with their claims dept CMI; however, the claim was denied. They stated the damage was not caused by their tire changer. I don't know how they damaged the rims, but my rims were damaged while in Walmart's employee control. Some one or ones also covered up the damage by smearing a whitish greasy substance over the complete side walls of all four tires and the edges of the rims. I have asked to see the film of my car taped while my 2012 Mercedes was in their store. This request was denied by two different managers at the Walmart store, and CMI has not responded to my request. I am another female being denied justice by Walmart.

    Whitish creamy greasy substance on all side walls and part of rims near all four new-tires installed by Walmart. When manager of tire dept was asked about the tires not being clean or washed, he stated not at Walmart. When I was washing the tires off at home with soap and water, I saw my rims had damage: grooves and rubbed areas as if they had been mishandled and/or improper tire removal and installation had occurred. I had to use a tire cleaner solution to remove the greasy substance. I filed a claim on 10/28/13. AM. I can't reach anyone to inform me of when the claim will be completed. I left messages. 11/04/13. I took pictures of the damage. I arrived around 12 noon and left after 4:30 PM. They told me they were waiting on someone to write up the work request correctly. They said it was written up as specialty tires. At least three people were with my car. I requested tire installation, tire balance and road hazard on four tires that I purchased online from Walmart. Even my sales ticket appears to be wrong. I'm very upset about this situation.

    Went in to purchase tires from Walmart and have them mounted and balanced. The employee had possession of the car for more than 15 minutes or so before he came and notified me that he had broken a stud on the right front side of vehicle while he was trying to remove the lug nuts. When asked if they could replace it, I was told "No! They didn't have the means to fix it". Now it's going to cost me to have replaced and they refuse to compensate me for the repair and my time and frustration over the matter. Had already called, as well as filed an incident report with Walmart. They took photos and the report and sent it to their "Consumer Department for review".

    I spoke with Dennis this morning, 1 800 527 0566, extension ** and he informed me that "it was not Walmart's fault and therefore they are not responsible for replacement". Seems Walmart is discriminating against women when it comes to these kinds of incidents. God help them if they did this to a man. Because they would know doubt bend over backwards to accommodate his complaint if it happen to them instead of a woman!!

    As a result, there are no consequences when an employee screws up a woman's vehicle. Regardless of who put the tire on last. The fact remains it happened while in their possession!!

    I took my van to have 4 new tires put on. They instructed me that I only needed 2 of them. So I was excited to save a couple hundred. Well when I went to drive off my steering wheel was jerked out of my hand & I almost wrecked. I couldn't drive over 5 mph. I pulled into the closest parking lot I could find, less than quarter of a mile from Walmart. I then called a tow truck to be towed to another shop. The mechanic at Walmart instructed me also that I needed to replace my wheel bearings. He said they were really bad.

    Well after I arrive at the other mechanic shop, they raised my van on a lift and proceeded to check my bearings. He tells me they are good, that it’s my front tire causing the problem. Seems that the Walmart mechanic had placed a bad tire from the rear on the front. The tire had busted on the inside & there was a huge knot on it. I pay the mechanic then take his receipt & my tow slip to Walmart w/ the tire, showed the lube center where they then yell at me & say it’s my fault. Said I had done it myself trying to get a reimbursement, which is false. I requested to see mgmt, (Edgar) then comes to see me and asks what happened.

    After explaining it to him he agrees the mechanic is at fault & agrees to reimburse the tow fee. I accept. I am upset. What if I had tried to drive & had a blowout & rolled my van, I could be dead right now, not only me but my kids, or even other motorists. Walmart needs to be held accountable. I am working to find an attorney now.

    I took my 2000 Ford Escort into the Ceres, CA Walmart and within 3 weeks it had lost (blew out) a quart of oil. I stopped in the Stockton, CA (Hammer ln) Walmart and asked them to take a look at my car. They are the ones that told me I was a quart low. They also told me that the oil filter that was on my car did not match what was on my invoice... Hmmmm, and that they would not touch my car. I had to take it back to the store where I had the oil change. I reluctantly did (I was nervous because they botched the job in the first place) and was told that my oil pan gasket was leaking and THAT was where my problem was. I NEVER had even so much as a drop of a leak BEFORE this "service"... I saved my money and bought all the parts & MORE oil and had the gasket replaced only to find out that the oil filter was what was leaking (STILL).

    So at the advice of an auto parts store, I bought a NEW oil filter and tried to put it on the car only to find out that the one that the Walmart employee (I was told by the insurance adjuster that they are NOT mechanics!) installed was put on wrong and subsequently cross-threaded... I took the part into the Ceres, CA Walmart and the managers and staff took pics and my complaint. The ins co CMI contacted me and told me the filter that was placed on my car (not the one that was on my invoice, mind you) is one that is made ONLY for Walmart and since I tried to fix the problem myself (at the instance of Walmart) they are not liable for the damages to my car...

    I have to prove they did something wrong and since I had work done on it (at their insistence) they won't assume liability! Nice racket!!! As I have just read MANY similar complaints. They think they've got a good racket, but I see a real common thread in how they damage people's vehicles and work real hard at not assuming responsibility. I wold like to put an end to this ** and welcome anyone to join me (or allow me to join them)!

    My husband took in his brand new four month old car for an oil change, wound up with a blown engine!!!!! They put in the wrong oil plug. The car was spitting, pulled over to the side of the road and it died right there with a giant, gushed out oil stain on the pavement. Had it towed into dealership they are the ones that discovered the wrong oil plug. Walmart does not want to take responsibility for their mistake. We are still squabbling with them. They said it was all on video, we have yet to be offered to see it. Walmart is the only place where that car had been for an oil change.

    This is a gigantic company with plenty of money. They should man up and pay for their mistakes and perhaps checkout their employees a bit better make sure they know how to do the job. I assume like all other things in today’s society the regular man gets the shaft. Maybe one of these days we will all learn and stop buying/using products and services from such companies. My family will not spend another cent in Walmart if they don’t make right. I know that isn't even a dent, one or two people at a time I guess. I'll spread my word. Time to start lawyer shopping. Hope I can find one with skills and morals!!? Wish me luck. Also, I just read on Google that Walmart was expanding their employees by 70K..... Geez Louise.

    I went in for a simple oil change. It took 3 hours. They put no air in the tires. This was a holiday weekend. I was having trouble handling the car. When I realized what it was they vehemently denied it. I received 10 calls by manager even the store manager. SO I BELIEVED THEM. What a mistake. Why would someone the same day as I get air put in my tires, take it out. When I went back, they were giving guys 50% off for waiting 1 hour. They said they had it on video but what they have is someone removing air not putting it in. I CHECK MY TIRES. For a stinky bit of money they will lie.

    Went to store #1521 to have oil changed approximately 1-1/2 months ago. My engine locked. ACSE certified mechanic advised oil filter was installed improperly (wasn't tight, removed with hand, not flush with seal). Oil leak only apparent when driving car, not when parked, which is why we didn't see any oil leaks in driveway. Walmart advised they would file claim with CMI. CMI contacted mechanic who told him same thing he told us. CMI then called me and said it wasn't their fault because the car had been driven 2600 miles since last oil change. Walmart has process and procedures in place to ensure no leaks before car driven away.

    They did not send anyone to look at the car or inspect the oil filter, didn't review any videotape as manager at location stated they would (supposedly they only keep video for 30 days), so I don't know how they are claiming they aren't responsible since they were last to touch the car mechanically. Just flat out said they were not responsible and Fram would be sending a kit to have oil filter sent to them for inspection. We haven't had this car over 6 months! Estimate to replace engine $1900, not to mention we have to pay for rental car to get to work. Mechanic indicates there is nothing wrong with filter itself, just simple case of Walmart employee not doing their job right and ensuring the filter was flush against the seal. Scheduling a consultation with a lawyer because I refuse to let them get away with this!

    I am helping my roommates out. They had an oil change done on 8/6/13 and on 9/1/13, the car said low oil pressure and it stalled out on my roommate. My roommate listened to her friends who suggested buy some oil and coolant and put it in the car to see if it helps to get it to start that did nothing. The store manager for tire and lube express came out and looked at the car and said everything is fine. There was some oil around the filter but he couldn't find a leak. He took some photos and sent them in to the claims department. Got a phone call from the claims department and they are saying it's not their fault the engine seized and that by my roommate adding coolant and oil, she tampered with car. The claim rep said that in order to prove that Wal-Mart screwed up, they need a full inspection report done on the car. My roommate had the car looked at by a repair shop and the repairs are gonna cost $4,000.00. What should my roommates do? Should they take legal action or go to the local media?

    I had tires put on and an oil change. Shortly after, my vehicle started tapping and knocking. It took some time to haul it to my mechanic. After he looked at it, it was surmised that the filter was not working properly (only a small amount of oil in filter when removed) thus ruining the motor. I took filter back and explained situation. After some time, I went back to check and they had just sent filter in for evaluation.

    I went through e-mailing CMI and went through FRAM evaluation. FRAM stated filter was fine and particles from engine clogged filter. Since this last e-mail, I have waited for a formal response from Walmart and have not received any. Over a week ago, I stopped at Walmart auto department but no manager around so I left my phone number with clerk and have not received a call yet.

    I find it very disturbing their lack of customer service and have taken my business elsewhere and do not plan on patronizing Walmart in the future if I can find an alternate provider. I have spoken to several friends and relatives about the situation and they agree the matter has not been handled very well. I do not know if it is a localized problem or corporate wide, but I will not have it again.

    OK again I will state for the record that I do work for Walmart but I do not represent them in any way nor will I lie for them on you, the customer. I will only give advise on procedures and how to get the best results for you the customer.

    Having said that, let me address the last 2 reports on here since my last post. To Brandon of Booneville, MS, I do not work at that store nor have I ever heard anything about it but judging from Walmart policies on tires and conditions there HAS to be a reason they deny working on your "tires." First and most of all is you the customer's safety. Is there broken lugs? Missing lug nuts? Are the tires worn excessively due to misalignment? Are the trademarks below 3/32" or the cross wears of the tires between the tread looks like "=" between the tread patterns?

    There are a number of things you can do. If any of these are not the case, but judging by your response, there is some kind of safety issue and they do not want to be responsible for any damages. Now if any above is NOT the case there is a few things you CAN do. First and most importantly "ASK QUESTIONS." Why is there a problem? What can I do to get it fixed? Is there any other issues with my tires? Has my warranty been voided in any way?

    See there are limits to any warranty. As with tire manufacture warranty, they only give you a warranty on perfect road conditions and normal wear. That's it. Walmart offers road hazard for other problems such as nails, flats, unusual wear, blowouts, curbing, and many others. "BUT" if there is ANY kind of alignment issues, that voids any and all warranties both from factory and Walmart. They cannot and will not stand behind any tire to hold up under alignment problems.

    So ASK QUESTIONS and get the answer from them and then you will be able to make a clear judgment on what to do and where to go from there. If they just do not wish to do the work and you do not fall under the alignment issue then you can ask to speak to the "Store Manager" not the service manager. The store manager will set things right and make sure that you are happy or at least content with your purchase. And if not you can then ask him for the home office complaint department's number.

    OK. Now to Christine of North Tonawanda. First let me say that I am sorry for your trouble and yes, unfortunately at every Walmart it is a "First Come - First Serve Basis" but there is proper procedures that have to be followed by the "techs" NOT "mechanics." They are only trained for tires, batteries, lights and oil changes. THAT'S it. As for the bulge in your tire, just to let you and everyone else know from this point forward if it stick "outwards" from the tire it's a factory defect and should be removed from service right away at the store's expense. They get reimbursed from the tire company for any defective tires. But if it goes "inwards" then it is very common and does not have any concerns with the tire. That is where the steel belts are fused together just like the hem on your pants. They overlap and are encased in rubber and poly lines to form the tire and keep it from coming apart.

    As for a broken belt, it's easy to see if there is a broken belt. First sign is not on the side wall but the top treaded part of the tire. If there is any hump or flat place on the tire THEN you have a broken belt, otherwise you don't.

    Now as for the policy for this problem, here is the solution that should have been in place or done. Since you were already there before and had a problem they should have put you next in line for the very next open available tire bay. They can not drop the ones they are working on at that moment because it would not be fair to those who have waited just as well as you did but as soon as whatever job they were doing was done then you should have been placed next in line until they resolved the situation.

    Since they did not do this then they did not follow proper policy procedures, SO take it to the Store Manager and explain the whole problem, what happened, what was done, and how they went about it, and he will see to it that it won't happen again and usually most store managers will see to it that your time and trouble are reimbursed and that you are satisfied with your purchase.

    Again I am sorry so many people have so many problems with the Walmarts in their areas but it's Walmart's own fault for hiring kids to start with who don't care or older people who have no pride in their work and it all pretty much stems from only paying the techs $8.00 an hour. It's pretty hard to take any pride that or go the extra mile to make people happy. It's sad but that's pretty much the jest of it. Well I hope this help you and anyone else who might have the same problem in the future. I will check back in a day or two to see if anyone has any more problems or questions that I can help with.     This is not the first time I have had poor service at Wal-Mart. About a year ago I went to Wal-Mart store at Corinth, MS. Got new tires with road hazard and lifetime rotation. Paid my money, they took my money, but will not honor their deal. They will not touch my tires so I am filing a lawsuit. If you have had the same problems, please join me.

    1540 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Oh wow is the top of my mind. Went to have tires installed. Paid for the whole works, tires, mount, balance, etc. After walking aimlessly around in the store for almost two hours because I was number 5 in line, I hear my name called, they are done; Yah. Left thinking it’s all good. I have my new tires, well not so much. I then went to my mechanic to have wheel bearings installed. He lives 10 minutes from Wal-Mart. He said "you almost lost your hub cap, it was just hanging there." Ok next, as soon as he takes off the newly installed tire he sees a bulge on the tire, says "take it back the belt is broke." He finishes the job on my wheel hubs and I go back to Wal-Mart thinking, "hey, it’s been an hour and a half and maybe 15 miles round trip since I left Wal-mart," right.

    When I go to the counter and explain that I just left my mechanic and he said the tire is defective because of a broken belt I see the look (you all know the look) the attendant says, “Well if there is a problem we should be able to fix it.” I said, “If there is a problem? Look, there is a bulge and ripples on the tire. It is plain as day.” Ok so I again begin my aimless wondering around Wal-Mart, now this is at 3:00pm. In half an hour, I go back to the counter to see how we are progressing and he says, “Well, it will be a while there is many before you in line.” Grr, now I already spent all morning there in the over crowed by bus loads of Canadians store that day.

    This gets me in “I have rights” mode and I ask to see a manager, thinking I already did my time, put the car in the stall and replace the tire next. Wrong. She said they have to do them in the order of arrival and it will be at least an hour and a half. Ok go to Subway, get a bite to eat, wander around, and hear my name. I go back to Tire and Lube and the tire worker guy (because he ain’t no mechanic) tells me he wants me to see something. I go out and he has the bulge marked with green chalk and begins telling me that it is a blemish and is acceptable to their standards, takes me in to look at a chart on the wall that reads about sidewall undulations.

    Sidewall indentations are purely a visual characteristic and will not affect the performance of the tire. There was nothing he could do. Well I found this completely unacceptable but the man was not going to help me so I asked for a manager once again. After sitting there announcing to all customers to be cautious of the work they were having done, I finely see the tire worker come back and say ok the manager said change my tire. Finally at about 6:00 pm I finally make it out of Wal-mart. Never again will I go back.

    I did a little research when I got home and it clearly states if bulges, other than indentations, appear on the sidewall or if there is any question concerning the sidewall appearance, the tire should be removed from service. A knowledgeable tire dealer or the manufacturer's representative should be contacted. Thank goodness I did not accept their explanation and followed my mechanic’s advice. If protruding bulges rather than indentations appear on the sidewall of a recently installed tire, it reveals that there is an undesirable gap between some of the body ply cords inside the tire. The tire should be removed from service and replaced under the tire manufacturer's defects in materials and workmanship warranty.

    First, I would like to say that I do work for Walmart's TLE and in no way do I represent them, their views or policies nor am I a spokes person or speak for them. This is only my own views of things, how they work and why most people are not happy with the service they receive. I will not lie for Walmart to you, the customer, nor will I fail to show the shortcomings of you, the customer.

    NOW having said all that, let me start off by saying, "Walmart is NOT a mechanics shop. They do NOT work on cars nor do they repair them or ever even ALLOWED to touch ANYTHING they are not qualified to do. They are simply a "Maintenance" shop, meaning that they only provide the simplest of tasks that you, the customer, CAN do but do NOT want to do. They do - oil changes - bulb replacements - batteries - wipers - and so on. There is one thing that they do that is other than that and it's "TIRES" but I will get to those later because that's an issue all to itself and will require a lot of explanation .

    Okay, I will give you my perspective and what you, the customer, can do and should do when considering taking your automobile to Walmart for service. When you come up to the TLE department, please keep in mind that these people are not high paid shop mechanics. They are just employees of Walmart that barely make min. wage. The adv tech makes $8.00 an hour. They do not get any additional pay or commission of any kind so they will always try to take the easiest way out so they don't have to work as hard. They will get paid the same pay whether you're there for an oil change or wiper replacement or even if you're there for 4 tires, a new battery and every service they offer. They will still get the same $8.00 an hour... SO here is what I suggest:

    If you don't care about your automobile, then feel free to just bring it in (drop it off and roll the dice) or if you do care about it, ASK QUESTIONS like how many techs are on duty? Is there any 4 star techs available? Are there any new techs that will be working on my automobile? If you have any doubts about the quality of work once they are done, here is a very simple and efficient way make sure the work is done right. Ask for a service manager to go do a Quality Check. It does not cost you anything and will ease your mind. They will go do a full check of all the work done and will have to put their own name on the report so they tend to make sure it's right. When work is being done to your automobile, it's no big secret that new employees are allowed to work on it, but usually only up to a limit of certain things such as air-pressure in your tires, washing your windshield and filling your reserve and vacuuming out your front floor until they are properly trained to do otherwise and receive their certification.

    NO EMPLOYEE is allowed to touch anything under pressure what so ever, such as brake fluid, radiator fluid levels, air condition pressure and so on, only oil, power steering, washer fluid and transmission fluid. If you want certain items checked or filled, make sure that they put it in comments as they are taking your order and do not sign the order until they show it to you. Yes it makes the process a little longer but it gives the tech clear instructions and you peace of mind. Be sure of what type of oil is being put into your automobile. It's listed on your oil cap or the sticker under your hood or if all else fails, it's in your owner's manual. Be sure of the oil you're putting in it, not just the cheapest oil change. Believe me if everyone only knew the mess Quaker State makes in an engine, they would not ever allow it to be put in their automobile. If your oil cap says "0w-20 or 0w-30 or 0w anything, that means it is synthetic oil ONLY. Do NOT let anyone put anything but synthetic into it. Yes, it's expensive but is made to last longer , give better gas mileage and engine performance then regular oil , adv oil life is 3000 miles , synthetic is anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 depending on the brand of oil and weight so check it before you even start.

    Okay, enough on that. I think that pretty much covered most of it on oil changes so let's move on to wipers and batteries. Wipers are pretty basic and easy to install, but if your wiper arms are in bad condition, it can cause big problems so inspect them before you have your wipers replaced. If they are not in good condition, take your automobile to a mechanic shop and have it fixed and they will usually throw on the wiper free. Techs are informed that if there is any way that it can cause any damage to anything, they are to refuse it and send you elsewhere for liability reasons.

    Batteries. No one will tell a customer this so I will be the first (Batteries are installed FREE). You only pay the price of the battery itself. There is no installation cost so if you need a battery, bring your automobile to the shop and have it installed. Why? Because then there is a clear service record and no way they can refuse you warranty on the battery. If you install it yourself, you have already pretty much voided any and all warranties on the battery and will have a ton of issues trying to make them stand good for it. So ALWAYS have a Walmart tech install a Walmart battery so they are forced to stand behind it.

    NOW for the Tires. Hang on to your hats people because this probably the single most important decision of your life and it will also be the most expensive one you will ever make if you choose wrong, such as the guy in the van did in this forum. Not saying he did anything wrong. He just made the wrong decision, is all.

    Tires are service that Walmart has chosen to provide with great expense to the company. They literally do not make hardly anything on the tires themselves but off the extras they provide and the fact that it's going to take time to put them on, it will keep you, the shopper, inside the store shopping and spending even more money on other things while you wait. They lose more money on tires than anything else you can imagine but if keeps you in the store they will provide them.

    First thing to know about tires is KNOW what you need. By that let's take for "Example" the guy with the van. A van is a "Utility automobile" and should have had "Truck tires" on it not "passenger Tires". The reason I know this is because he clearly stated they were Viva 2 tires which are passenger tires only and made solely for cars and mini-vans. I saw in the pictures that he had 8 lug wheels 14 mm lugs and require at least a "C" rated tire with a load limit of 1400 lbs and since he went the cheaper route by getting passenger tires, they ended up blowing out under the pressure or weight of the load he was carrying.

    DO NOT be afraid to ask a ton of questions and let the person know you're not sure what to get. If there is any question, pull your car to a parking spot and go inside and talk to the service manager. He is there to help you, so ASK QUESTIONS. Tires are expensive but they are what you are trusting your life to every time you climb into your automobile so how much of your life and the lives of others is worth to you?

    Tires come in all different sizes and tread patterns and made for every different type automobile you can imagine and getting the wrong one can be costly so check out the internet. Look on the sticker on your door or owner's manual. They will all tell you what you need to make your automobile safe to drive and hold up for whatever tires you put on it. Also be sure to keep your tire pressure as it shows on the door. It will make your tires last longer and perform better. Keep in mind that these same $8.00 an hour techs are the ones installing your tires and most will not go out of their way to do anything special or let you know of any problems. They simply do not care nor are they paid to. I, on the other hand, do care or I would not be sitting here wasting my online time doing this rather than playing a game or surfing the net.

    Be sure that if you get tires because there has been so many incidents involving lug nuts being over tightened and stripped off. Walmart put into effect a hand torque policy, meaning that the guns will only go up to 90 lbs so every lug nut has to be hand torqued in order to assure they will be safe to drive but not over torqued or stripped out and as such, after the installation they offer a "FREE" service of what's called a 50-mile re-torque. So after you get new tires and drive it 50 or so miles, you can come in at any time and do a quick re-torque at no cost just to 100% safe. Is that not worth a few moments of your time to keep your family safe?

    Tires are the biggest problem and hazard for a tech than you can imagine and I will try to explain why. If a tech gives you the wrong tires, strips out a lug nut, does damage or anything wrong what-so-ever, guess what? They lose their job. That is why if there is ANY question to dependability of a tire or wear or dry-rot or anything else, they simply will NOT do it. It's not worth losing your job over just because some guys wants us to repair a rotted tire because we know it's only going to blow out and cost us our job because someone is too cheap to buy a good tire and protect their loved ones.

    Anyone who is not a (4-star) tech is either NEW or unwilling to go the extra mile for you. A 4-star tech is pretty hard to achieve because it takes knowledge, ability to achieve, customer care and skill ) so if for any reason you have ANY questions about TIRES, find one and ask his advice or the service manager. They are there to help you, assist you and make the right decisions, so ASK. Okay, that is about it and I hope that this in some ways helps you in some way with your decisions and keeps most of the problems to a minimum and for those who have had problems, please keep in mind that Walmart has the biggest turnover of employees in the world and that they are replaced as fast as they leave. So if you run into someone new, don't get upset. Just simply ask = can I get someone with a little more experience please? Or talk to the service manager? And they will not be upset. Trust me. The last thing any employee wants to do is upset a customer. They will be happy to give you to someone else.

    Well, good luck and if I upset anyone, I am sorry but I am simply stating the facts. I know it's a lot to read but hey, I think it's a pretty informative post and if anyone has any questions, I will be happy to try and answer them to the best of my ability but keep in mind, I do NOT speak for Walmart or against them.     I went to Walmart for an oil change. My car did not have any service lights lit up on the dash at the time. When I picked up my car and turned it on, the brake light was lit up. When I told an employee, he said there was brake fluid leaking out of my car and I should not drive it. I told them I thought they were responsible since my vehicle did not have any lights on when I left it for the oil change. They said the line was rusty and they did not break the brake line. I had to have my car removed and fixed in order to drive it. I believe they should be held accountable.

    I purchased a set of tire from Wal-Mart, with the lifetime warranty and road hazard. I went to the same store Pinhook Rd. Lafayette, LA to balance and rotate my tires. They messed it up so bad I had to bring my car to another to get it straightened up. This week I needed to balance and rotate my tires, and decided to try Wal-Mart again. Same thing happened. My car is now sitting in Hyundai shop to fix the problem. If your balancing system is not accurate, fix it. Don't offer the lifetime warranty if you can't stand by it.

    I took my car to Wal-mart in Oakdale, LA about three weeks ago for an oil change. Everything seemed fine till yesterday. I'm going down the road and my car starts making a horrible knocking sound so I pulled over and cut it off. It was smoking so I hurry up and popped the hood to see a rod blown in my motor. I'm completely confused because Wal-mart is telling me it's my problem and I have to pay to fix it. The only way to blow a rod is no oil and to say it was only three weeks ago. What is going on?

    My wife got a simple oil change at Walmart. I thought everything was fine but something told me to check the oil. The first thing I saw was the oil filter was still on. I thought strange then I pulled the dip stick and there was a little drop on the stick. I had to go buy oil to get her car driving again. Thank god the engine didn't lock up. I heard all the bad stuff about Walmart and know I now never ever go to Walmart. Why trust someone who gets 8 bucks an hour to take care of your car?

    I bought two tires at the Smithville TN store for my Chevy Avalanche. I asked them (twice) to return the spare to the mount under the truck when finished. Two hours later, I paid for the tires, went out to the truck and the spare was in the bed of the truck. There was no mention from the Wally World folks about not doing the job. I am presently disabled and not capable of mounting the tire under the truck - I can barely lift the darn thing (it's a big tire). I complained to the mgr. and the response was that their manual jack only fits Ford trucks, and the lift jack blocks the access to the spare. I asked them to use my jack, but they refused citing liability issues. I angrily walked out without realizing my response should have been, "YOU DON"T NEED A JACK to store it away! I removed it without jacking up the truck..."

    I worked at Wal-mart for almost 2 years. There is a liability form they make you sign if you don't have oil on your dipstick that states if anything happens to your car, Wal-mart is not at fault. Just to let you know, read before you sign. The second point I want to make is what Wal-mart needs to be called out on. If an associate gets into your car and drives it in for oil and/or tires of some sort and breaks something (from your window, door handle, or even dents your car), as long as they put on the paperwork damage was done p2s (prior to the service), Wal-mart is not responsible for what was done.

    And if the customer did not say anything before the service, they are reliable for it at their own cost. Wal-mart has at least 3 cameras per bay door. They have and record everything that goes on in the shop. If a file is claimed on a customer’s car, they can look back and see what went wrong. If it was Wal-mart’s fault and on the paperwork an employee said it was not Wal-mart’s fault, they will fire the employee and make the customer pay for the damages. That way, Wal-mart doesn't pay for anything...ever.

    I worked at the TLE in Brookings, SD 57006. I graduated with an automotive degree from the Universal Technical Institute and have my ASE certifications. I was fired for telling a customer I did not feel comfortable working on the tire that was brought into me for it was bald. I was called in a week later to the office and told that customer service is more important to my job. I should never turn a customer away, even if their tire is bald. In my 7 years of automotive experience, I could tell you if I would have patched that tire, it would have blown out a couple of miles down the road. But that's what you get when the managers above you came from the groceries side of the store to be a manager of an automotive department. Long story short, I will never bring my car to Wal-mart and neither should anyone else. They might be a cheap place to get stuff done, but I've seen what goes on and what happens when people goof off in the shop.

    On a late Sunday afternoon, I went to Walmart to have oil changed. Long story short, the technicians overfilled the oil unit. I left the store and drove around the block after experiencing a jerk when the ignition started, drove to the end of the drive, circled around and went right back to Walmart. I asked the men to check the oil as I thought they had not refilled. They checked and said it was okay after checking other units and checked to see if brakes okay. Smoke was pouring out the exhaust system by this time also. I happened to have left my cell phone at home, drove about 2 miles, parked the car and borrowed a phone from a passing motorist to call my son who unfortunately was on a golf course, but he finally got my message and rescued me.

    He had to drive the car another two miles to my home, parked the car in the garage and left it. This was on Memorial weekend so I called the store late that night and left a message for the manager of the department. I talked to the manager on Tues. morn. and offered to have her check out the car at my home which she declined. I told her I was having the car towed to my Subaru dealer on Wed. morn. She had to go to the Subaru dealer to check it out before repair work started. This she did along with another person, the oil and gone through all systems and it is still in the shop, but I have been promised that it will be ready by midweek next week. My dealership filed a claim for the total repairs on Thurs. morning after checking the car. I filed a claim for the towing and car rental. The adjuster from Walmart corporate claims office called me on Friday and said I will have the check by Tues. before the car is released to me.

    I know that accidents do happen, no matter where you do business. So though I was not happy, I am completely satisfied with the manner in which my case was handled. The main thing is that you document every step of the way, which we did. The first was documenting the accident as soon as possible. My dealership too had photos of the oil dip stick showing how much it was overfilled and documented the repairs.

    So Walmart is a huge corporation and much maligned, but I have found that they will treat you fairly if you are fair yourself.

    After one close call regarding an oil change at Walmart Tire & Lube Express, I resolved never to take anything on one, two, three or four wheels back there again. Since I always check under the hood after any maintenance on my vehicle, I found that the oil filler cap for my vehicle was left sitting on the radiator. When I brought the matter to the associate behind the counter, he feigned concern as if to say "OK?" and "Lucky me, the oil pan plug had been replaced properly." I had it checked at another garage. After reading of toasted engines, I resolved to pay a little more and find a reputable dealer with ASE and real factory trained technicians. I always cringe when I see Cadillacs, Lincolns, BMWs, Mercedes and Jaguar luxury cars parked outside the TLE at a Walmart awaiting their turn on the rack.

    What in the wide, wide world of sports were their owners thinking?! I own a luxury vehicle and I wouldn't let just anyone touch it. Apparently, as with many other facets of retail, Walmart does many things and none of them very well.

    I took my Tahoe in for an oil change. They checked off all the boxes that everything was fine (tranny, wiper fluid, transfer case, lights, etc). A couple of weeks later, I drove across the state to my daughter's college for a visit. On the way back, something started rattling. When I got home, I took it to my mechanic. He said the transfer case was completely empty and had been leaking for some time. The chain had worn a hole through it. I also had several light bulbs out. Walmart says I can't prove anything and I should have noticed the leak. I have pics and out $2,000.

    I waited for four hours to get my tires installed and mounted, and I even brought my own tires! A thousand miles later, my wheel came off my truck while on the highway. I had it towed back to my house where I took multiple pictures of the damage to Eldersburg, MD Wal-Mart and they told me to call their claims dept in Arizona. What a joke. A week later, they called and denied any wrongdoing. My wheel came off for Christ's sake! Eldersburg Wal-Mart gave me an unsigned receipt and at the very bottom, it says to have my lug nuts re-torqued after 50 miles. No one told me that, explained that to me or gave me this paper with the disclaimer on it. I had to repair the truck by myself, in my own driveway, using my own cash. Never again, Wal-Mart. And believe me, I am spreading this incident to everyone like wildfire!

    I have been taking my 2009 Nissan Altilma to Wal-Mart to get the oil changed since I moved to LA and recently, my car lost all power and shut off on me. One man pulled over to help me, so he pulled the stick on my transmission fluid to notice that I had no transmission fluid in my vehicle. I received a call from Lisa ** at Walmart Claims who had a very nasty attitude like I paid Wal-mart to mess my car up.

    Shortly after my last full service of Oil and Lube on my wife's car, she told me the brake pedal went straight to the floor before it came to a stop. I took it to the dealership the next day for warranty service. They came back and told me that there was transmission fluid in the brake system and it was destroying the seals. Upon taking it back to WM to find out why trans fluid was used in the brake system, I was told that they do not check brake fluids. Since when? Full service includes all fluids under the hood and it still does not explain how trans fluid was in the brake lines. So now, I'm looking at a $800 repair bill to replace the brake system.

    My son went to Walmart Supercenter store #35, 101 Bluemont Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502 on Thursday, March 14, 2013 to have his oil changed in his 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt. When he returned to Manhattan, Kansas, the car seized up because there was no oil in the engine. The car stopped running on Thursday, March 28, 2013. As a result of Walmart never changing the oil, the engine seized up and had to be replaced at a cost so far of $1,970 plus a $75 tow to get the car to the repair shop.

    I will keep this plain and simple. The Wal-Mart at which we returned the tires we originally bought from would not pro-rate our tires. After only 30k miles, the two rear ones were bald (and had been rotated), though they were "warranted for 45k". Spend your money elsewhere.

    6259 College Dr, Suffolk, VA 23435 - I want my flashlight back from the black guy with the dreadlocks. It was a Christmas gift from my son. It was in a canvas case and the flashlight was a small flashlight with a powerful 110 lumens and strobe also. This was the first flashlight stolen by an employee from Wal-Mart. 1500 Armory Dr, Franklin, VA 23851- The second Flashlight was stolen when I had 2 new tires put on my car. That flashlight I had ordered to replace the other stolen one. The second flashlight was called a Redline, 220/110/20 lumens, strobe and a mayday option; and it had a magnet on one end.

    I have taken and removed everything I could possibly remove from my car, vacuumed it, and I still cannot find either flashlight. I have searched through my coat pockets, pants pockets, looked everywhere, and I still cannot locate the flashlights that I always left in the console. I want both flashlights replaced! I was not going to say anything but after being robbed twice by these employees of Wal-Mart, my family insists I say something.

    I purchased two Michelin ATX-2 tires. I had to order them. Tires arrived on Sat. I told them I would be in on Monday. I arrived after calling ahead 1 hour as requested by the employee on the phone, did all necessary paperwork and signed a release for them to place tires on the front end. I had matching number tires all around (all 6) tires. I decided to put these on the front 285/75R16 all terrain. I was replacing 315/75R16 mud terrain because I no longer need the mud terrain style tires. The manager told me (a 30-year mechanic) that they did not possess the correct socket to remove the wheels. (It's a standard size socket.)

    On Saturday, March 2, 2013 at approximately 10:30, I took my Ford Explorer in to have a nail removed from the driver side front tire. My passenger back tire was a little low on air, and I asked them to check it. The young lady writing up the work order took my keys and said they would give me a call over the intercom when the repair was made if it could be repaired. That "if" was my first clue. A few minutes later, I was called to the auto service department for "a matter concerning" my truck. That was clue number two.

    When I got there, I was informed by an older man that my back tires need to be replaced. He was looking for the tires to replace them when I got there, but they didn't have them in stock. I told him I wasn't buying tires from Wal-Mart. He apparently didn't hear me because he told me the clerk (now an older woman) could special order them for me. I told her no need to do that because I wasn't buying tires from them. I asked him if he could put air in the tire, and he said he would. I waited for them to finish up with my truck.

    In just a few minutes, they were done and my truck was taken down. Another gentleman brought in the paperwork, and the clerk told me there was no charge for today's services. I asked if there was no charge for removing the nail from my front tire, and she said they didn't do it. I verified with her that the older man said it was the back tires that needed to be replaced, and she heard the same from him. She went out to check and came back and told me he would not fix the front tire, because I needed new tires. Because I wouldn't replace tires that didn't need to be replaced, they refused to fix the tire I asked them to fix. They have lost a customer. I will not spend one red cent in another Wal-Mart.

    In December of 2012, I purchased four new tires from Wal-mart in Alliance, OH. They were quick and friendly. In February of 2013, while driving on the highway at 65mph with three of my grandchildren in the car, I observed a loud noise coming from the front tire area. We did make it home, but fearing a wheel bearing, I had the car towed to my local repair shop (Uptown Auto) and rented a car to get back and forth to work and to return my granddaughter in MI. It took a couple days for Uptown to get my car in, but their discovery was that the lug nuts on all the tires were only hand tight. I met with the asset manager at Wal-mart who stated that the video showed that the tires were in fact tourqued, and I should have retourqued at 50mi.

    At 192K miles on my Honda Accord, I've had three sets of tires and never had to have them retourqued. They claimed no responsibility and offered no compensation. Not only will I not use their auto center, but the thousands I spend there every year on food and merchandise will no longer hit their bottom line.

    On Feb. 13, 2013, I went into the Walmart Auto Service to get a simple oil change in Cape Guirardo, MO. One guy that just got there was complaining that it wasn't his job to do the oil change. After they charged me $49.95 for an oil change, tire pressure check and a new filter. I left. After I got up the road, my information on my dashboard was flashing check engine oil. I went to another place and had them check my car. They said nothing was done to my car. They pulled out and showed me a dirty filter. They had to put oil in my car and check my air pressure in my tires after I just left Walmart. So I wasn't happy that I had to pay again for what Walmart was supposed to have done. I will never go there ever again and I will tell my family and friends of my experience as well so they don't go through what I went through.

    Wal Mart Trinidad, CO - On Feb. 13th 14:30, I asked for tires for my car. The Tire Dept Manager(?) was a lady with red hair. The attendant checked the computer for tires to fit my car; they only had two in stock. I said ok and wanted them put on the front of my car. The tire mech came back in a few minutes and said he could not put them on the front, only on the back (Wal-Mart policy?). I believe the front should be the best for new tires for safety but I finally agreed. I would change them later at home. Then, the mech came back and said the 232 rule (?) - my front tires were not safe enough to allow them to put any tires on my car? My tires were not that bad. Then suddenly they found another two tires that would fit my car that were not in computer? But they wanted me to buy some warranty in addition to mounting and balancing to get the two other tires? I held my temper and told them the purchase was cancelled and I left as soon as I got my car back. (Bought tires at another store, happy to have my business, same price!)

    Very suspect rules. It was also suspicious that they suddenly found tires not listed in the tire inventory, and the customer service was indifferent at best. The dept manager was subservient to tire mech? I promise not to shop in any Wal-Mart from now on. And will recommend to all friends and family to avoid Wal-Mart in the future.

    I visited the Walmart in Kingsville, Texas, for a simple flat repair. As I walked through the shop area, I noticed no one around (no cars in the shop or in the parking area). As I entered the automotive office, there was a female Walmart employee assisting a customer at the checkout, but I noticed she was having a problem checking the customer out. At no time did she acknowledge me or make eye contact to me to merely say I'll be right with you. She had called a CM on the phone but wasn't having any luck. Shortly thereafter, a guy named George came out from a back room and he never acknowledged me either. I was there about 20 minutes with no help from anyone. While I was waiting, I noticed about four Walmart mechanics walking around doing nothing.

    When I finally decided to leave, she had to activate the door so I could leave. She then asked me if I needed any help. I asked her how long for a flat repair. She wasn't able to tell me, so she had to go find one of the mechanics out in the sales floor to ask him how long for a flat repair. He told her as they were walking out into the shop that he didn't know, that it wasn't his job. He then told her to tell me it would be at least 45 minutes. Now mind you, no cars in the shop, four guys doing nothing, and no cars in the parking lot of the auto center.

    I've got other things to do than sit and wait for 45 minutes. I went down the street to a real tire place and ended buying two new tires. In and out in thirty minutes. I will never go back to the Walmart auto and I will tell my friends about my experience there. These people aren't qualified to ring out a customer ticket, but most of all, have no customers skills.

    On November 8, 2012, my son went to Walmart TLE in Texarkana, TX to get my oil changed. The work order showed they put 6 qts of oil in the vehicle. He got a mile and a half down the road and his Jeep started making a loud noise and quit running. He pulled over on Interstate and checked his oil and it was empty. I picked him up and went to Walmart and explained to the lady behind the counter what had happened. She said that it was Walmart's fault because it was their policy to not change the oil in a vehicle that had an issue (they had noted on the work order that the oil pressure gauge was not working properly) and that they would have to pay for it.

    The TLE mgr came over and said that he would take a technician to where the Jeep was and put some more oil in it. He followed us and they put another gallon of oil and tried to start it and the oil just ran out from under the oil filter. Walmart towed it to their store and put more oil and another filter on it. They did admit that there was an oil trail leaving the bay where the oil was changed. They had their claims dept call us with a claim number and told us to come have it towed to a mechanic and let him look at it. The mechanic said the motor was locked up but since it was full of oil, he could not say it was due to lack of oil (keep in mind they had filled it with oil 3 times).

    Their insurance company said the burden of proof was on us. They never received the oil filters or the video and would not allow us to have them either. They covered their tracks by filling it with oil again before having us tow it away. Now my 18-yr old son has no vehicle and almost lost his job because he has to walk or depend on someone to get to work. He had just gotten his own apt and had to move home so he could be close to his job. We called corporate several times, but all we got was a promise that someone would call us. It's one thing to do me wrong but you're messing with my kid now. I will not give up until they do what is right by him!

    On August 2, 2013, my husband bought two new Goodyear Viva 2 tires for our van. Our van is only driven locally for him to go to work so we do not rack a lot of miles on it. One of the tires blew out this morning. The tread still looks great but the inside wall had its wires hanging out. The other tire still looks great. I called the Gaffney, SC Walmart store where we bought the tires. The lady on the phone said the tires do not have warranties, and she can only help me if I bought roadside hazard. This is not a roadside hazard issue. I did not run over a nail. My tire is falling apart abnormally. I asked about the 60,000 mile tread warranty that is advertised with the tire. I was told there is no tread warranty on any of the tires, and other than the roadside hazard, the Gaffney Walmart store only has a 30- to 60-day warranty on tires.

    I was transferred to the store manager Gerald. Gerald restated what the tire lube express associate had said about them not having any tires with warranties past 60 days. When I asked about the tired tread warranties, he said he did not have time to argue with me. Do the tires have tread warranties, or the Gaffney Walmart saves its time and money by blowing its customers off; or is it false advertising? Either way, it is great to know Gaffney Walmart only stands behind the manufacturing of the tires it sells for 60 days. I will never buy Walmart tires to carry my grandkids on again.

    I went into the Super Wal-Mart Tire and Lube express to buy three new tires for my car. I had a bad experience with rude staff there during my previous visit, so I was a little on edge about going there again. I walked up to speak with the woman at the counter who seemed to be talking to me while looking the complete opposite direction. "No, hello. No, how are you? No, how can I help you? Just what tire size do you need?" I didn't know but had a mechanic looked at it and told her?

    She argued with me about what each tire location name is called and then proceeded to laugh and jiggle to herself. When it came time to give her my keys, she told me to remove the key from the chain. I asked for a coin to be able to remove the large key off the ring without ruining my nails and she said, "You seem like you don't know how to do much" which struck a nerve with me as I am a hard working kindergarten teacher and just got through with a long day at work. I was very insulted and embarrassed in front of a line of waiting customers. I'm never going back there again! I will be finding a new tire and lube location in the future.

    I went to my local Wal-Mart (Springfield, MO West Sunshine) to have my battery terminals cleaned. They got my car right in when I got there at around 4:40. I saw the guy jack up the wrong side of the car, and after he figured it out (about 20 minutes), he went to the other side, jacked it up, came in, flirted with girl at counter for a while (10 minutes), then went back out and been walking around. It's now almost 6:00. WTH? What are these idiots doing out there? Good thing they don't get paid by the car!

    I went to my local Wal-Mart automotive center (Wilmington Pike, Sugar Creek, Ohio) for a simple oil change. I dropped off my car and was told that I would be called via phone when my car was ready (around 3:30 pm) according to them. It got to be 4 pm and no call. I called the automotive center at 4:15 and they told me, "Your car is ready." When I arrived, I was notified that my tires had not been rotated because they were "dry-rotted" and I was unsafe to rotate them. These tires are three years old with less than 30,000 miles driven on them. They are not "dry-rotted". Unacceptable. The center was scheduled to close at 5 pm that day. At 4:45 pm the workers had already closed up shop and were standing around talking. Maybe they should have used that fifteen minutes to rotate my tires. This adds to the list of reasons why I hate Wal-Mart.

    I went into our Wal-Mart located in Beloit, WI to buy two tires for my Isuzu; which they said due to the fact of the car having both 2 and 4 wheel drive, they have to sell me four tires because of safety reason. I didn't need four tires at that moment, just two. It made me feel like I was being forced to pay out to the bully world of Wal-Mart. As far as safety goes, there shouldn't be one tire that comes from your business not spend balanced that's a big safety problem, because control is a big problem to others' safety. Everyone isn't made of money. Money isn't the problem. It's the way you make people feel cheated.

    Last July, I purchased four tires for my Lexus SUV and they out the wrong size on my Lexus. One tire blew and they replaced all four - wrong size again. In November a year later, I went to Discount Tires to have them rotated and was told they were the wrong size. Wal-Mart offered to replace them at the tune of $120. Why should I have to pay for a mistake that was theirs, not mine? Because of this, my speedometer is off and the upper part of my Lexus is sloshing around. I have my three grandkids in my Lexus at least four times a week. Maybe if something awful happens while driving it like this, something will be done about this problem. Time to see a lawyer!

    I took my car in to Walmart Lube Service to get my oil changed on 12/7/2012. While driving my car, it started to smell like something was burning. When I got home, my husband kept saying my car smells like it’s burning. The next morning when I was getting ready to leave the house, he noticed a trail of oil leaking from my garage into the driveway and out into the subdivision. When he checked my car, there was no oil in the car. He purchased a quart of oil and put a half of it in my car to take it back to Walmart which is across from our subdivision and all of it had leaked out by the time we got there. As the service tech looked at the car, he stated that my front seals were busted. They gave me a number to their claims department and said they would take care of it.

    I had my car towed to an auto shop and was told that this was caused by too much oil being put into my car causing the seal to break. After the mechanic spoke to the claims department, he advised me that they were going to say it was my fault. Well the claims department called me back and told me that I needed to prove that Walmart Lube tech had put more than recommended oil in my car and that an oil change doesn't cause a seal to break. At this point they have denied my claim. When I asked my mechanic what would cause a seal to break, he stated the excess oil. He also stated that if my seal was going out, I would have had oil leaking from my car which Walmart never noted on my service sheet on this oil change or on the one before. How can I get this resolved and paid for?

    While visiting in Phoenix Az, I needed to replace two of my tires. I went to Walmart on 75th ave. and they quoted me 153.00 dollars. Then when I returned to the store on 59th ave. and Bethany, they said the tires would be now $201.00. When I then went to Walmart back at 75 th ave. they then told me the tires would now be $187.42. So, I left and went to 83rd ave. Walmart, letting them know that Discount tires had quoted me $157.00 plus tax. They said they didn’t match prices, not even with their other stores.

    I did a lot of research believing WalMart would be my best bet only to learn they are full of nothing but lies. All 3 stores I went to, they did not match prices. They lie to you over the phone about their prices. False advertisement. I will let everyone know of the experience I had at WalMart while in Phoenix. It’s a shame; the store I always trusted in is all a lie. Shame on you for your false advertisements. WalMart does not match other stores’ prices and has a team of lying sales people in their Tire Department in all 3 stores.

    I purchased four tires for my wife's ML 350 Mercedes at Walmart.com. I received an email stating that the tires would arrive at the Beaumont store on November 28, 2012. I took a vacation day off from my employer to ensure the tires were correct and installed. I was instructed to see the Tire & Lube department. The car was checked in and we were told approx. one hour for installation. Not having received a call after two hours, I checked with the department. A tire installer came on the phone and stated they couldn't find the lug wrench. I told him it should be with the spare tire under the back floor mat. An hour later, the installer called and said he couldn't find the lug wrench. I drove to the store, asked for the installer, went to my wife's Mercedes, opened the back floor mat, and saw the lug wrench. I asked him what that was and he stated, "Lug wrench."

    Now, 3 and 1/2 hours had passed. An hour later, he called me and said the lug wrench was not the correct one for the lugs on the wheels. The lugs have a stylized star shaped cap. I drove to the store (4 and 1/2 hours now) and picked up the ML. We drove to Riverside, Walter's Mercedes (32 miles) to ask for a star shaped lug wrench. The service department manager said there was no such thing. He then showed us that the existing lug wrench fit over the star-shaped caps and locked onto the lug. Embarrassed, we drove back to Beaumont Wal-Mart Tire & Lube Department (32 miles) and showed the installer that the lug wrench fit the lugs. He then used the wrench and removed one of the lugs (6 hours now). He stated that we would have to recheck in since we were no longer listed as having been in the service bay. We stood around waiting for the department manager for another half hour (he was out to lunch at now 3:45 pm).

    He finally arrived and said they couldn't install our tires, since the lugs were not standard and he wouldn't take the responsibility of damaging them. I told him we would absolve Wal-Mart for any damage to the lugs and he said no. I was incensed and told him to get our tires and we would take them to someone else to install. He said okay and left. We waited another half hour (now 7 hours) and he didn't return. I saw my tires in the service bay and went to the dot com pick-up department for assistance. The installer argued with the dot com store assistant that he had no authority to give us the tires. She assured him we had paid for them when I ordered the tires on the website. Finally, we were given the tires (7 and 1/2) hours and traveled to another tire garage to have them installed. I will never ever buy the smallest thing from Wal-Mart. Totally wiped out!

    Wal-Mart Auto/Tire Center 81st and Lewis Tulsa, OK - I arrived at 6:55AM to purchase some tires and knew the center opened at 7AM, so I thought. At about 7:10AM, I called the store and got someone in auto - said the key with the keys to open the door wasn't there and it should be only a few minutes. Another customer arrived, asked if the 7AM on the sign was an approximate time. I told her I guess so. By 7:20AM, I called again. By 7:30, an older man arrived to take appointments. I asked why it took so long and he said no one came. I told him I need 4 tires. He said the tire guy wasn't here. I asked to speak to a manager and he said, "If you could find one." I left and am writing this. The service at this store and another one I visited was terrible. I am a stockholder, or at least I was, until this. Sam would roll over in his grave if he knew the service has gone to hell in his stores.

    I got my oil changed at Wal-Mart on a Friday. On Tuesday, I noticed the car was rattling and the check oil light was on. I pulled over just as the car died. I called a tow truck and he showed me all the oil under the car. My mechanic told me the filter they used was the wrong size and my motor would have to be replaced. Do not use Wal-Mart for car repair or oil change! We are still trying to get their insurance to pay for the motor replacement, towing and rental car (over $5,000). They are dragging their feet and giving us the runaround even though our mechanic has given them plenty of evidence and stands behind us 100%.

    At 2 pm on Nov. 15, I walked into the Auto Service department to get an oil change and two tires mounted. I stood around for 40 min. without getting waited on and walked out. The service writer spent 15 min. making keys for customers for a total sale of $1.28 each, wrote an order for an oil change later that day, the rest of time talking to a lady about different tires. After 30 min. I interrupted him and asked if someone else could help. He said no, he was the only service writer; the other one was out to lunch and would be back in 5 min. I waited 10 min.; no one showed, then left. When I walked in and for the whole 40 min., there was not one care in the shop and the three service techs in the shop were standing around visiting. I know Walmart is all about low prices but with an operation like that, the margin must be too high some place to be making money. This happened at the store at 180 & West Center Road in Omaha, NE.

    I took my car to be serviced at Walmart on Gosford Rd., Bakersfield, CA. The service tech changed the oil but he overfilled the oil. The oil ran through the engine into the catalytic converter and my car is not drivable due to smoke from the exhaust that was caused by the oil and it will not run safely. The exhaust is completely plugged. The oil being overfull caused my converter to melt down. I called the supervisor and explained to him the issue and he was already aware of the problem because we took the car back to them to drain the excess oil from the engine after it failed smog as a gross polluter. The supervisor was rude and said that he was not going to fix it and hung the phone up on me. I really need my car because I am the caretaker for my parents due to their disabilities. I want to file a complaint that my car was incorrectly serviced.

    Walmart changed the oil in my car and ruined the engine in the process. While changing the oil, they knocked off the mass air flow sensor and the car would not start. They left my wife stranded there, pushed it outside and left her to deal with it. Needless to say, I fixed it in their parking lot. A few days later, the motor started to tick and I took the car back to Walmart. They said they would fix it, gave them an estimate from a GM dealership and they gave me a phone number of their insurance company. I come to find out there was a seedling from a tree that must have blown into the oil filter cartridge holder (the car does not have a conventional oil filter, it has a drop in cartridge) during the oil change.

    Walmart employee must not have looked at it before he put filter in. Now there is something (seedling) clogging the oil passage to the passenger's side of the engine causing it to not get oil to that side of the motor. Now I have $1,000 in replacing filters in the car and the whole time it was from the oil change. Now I need a new motor and my car that I still owe $12,000. I cannot drive and this has been going on for over a month. They are not doing anything about it. Thanks Walmart for leaving me stranded.

    I went on 9-28-12 to get my oil changed. The customer service was lacking - no smiles or good communication by any of them. They said they would call my name over the speaker when it was done. I ate at Subway in the store, then walked around the store after. I never heard my name. If they did indeed say it, then they need to fix their speakers so you can hear it in the entire building. Once I got my car & drove home, I noticed a light that wasn't on before was now on. Also, I didn't like the way my car felt. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't feel the same (I have never had any issues with my car).

    I called Walmart to find out what the light was. It was the tire pressure monitoring system. She stated that the front tire they couldn't get the plug off to fill it up & that's why the light is probably on. I found out that evening once I got to my friend's house that my rear tire was flat! I checked & the plug wasn't screwed on tight, but I was told that shouldn't make it go flat. So what did they do to my car?! My friend aired my tire up & then again today, Tuesday 9-30, I woke up & the tire was again flat. I went to Pro Muffler, and, I think, the guy there filled it up & checked for a leak. He didn't find a leak. After I left there though, the light went off in my car. And so far, the tire isn't flat. We will see tomorrow morning. I will never get my oil changed or any car serviced at Walmart ever again. If it is flat tomorrow, I will be going to Walmart in person to complain.

    Walmart Palmdale, CA - My daughter took her car for an oil change on 10-28-12 at 8:40AM. She waited for an hour. She noticed the mechanic walking back and forth, going underneath to work on her car. After an hour, he told her they don't have the special tool that is needed to work on her car. He pulled out her car and sent her on her way. She went to Jiffy Lube, the technician there took one look and said the oil plug had been stripped. He then said, "This looks fresh. Was somebody working on your car?" My daughter then informed him he had just left Walmart. I called Walmart and spoke with the supervisor, and she agreed to write an incident report.

    She explained the 3-day procedure to me. I explained to her that this needed to be expedited due to the needs of transportation. She then told me I can speak with the assistant store manager that comes in at noon. I explained to her that I would wait and get the incident report at that time and speak with the other manager so I wouldn't have to make two trips. I went to the store at 1PM. The supervisor was paged, and the person who paged her told me she is bringing up the incident report form. The supervisor told me the manager is reviewing the tape. I asked her if I could view as well, and she said, "Yes, he is coming up now."

    Of course, the manager came up and told me the technician never touched the car and he had no tools with him. I asked them "I thought the tools are already down there?" He replied by saying yes? That didn't make sense to me. I then asked him to view the tape with him. He said because I'm a customer, I'm not allowed to view the tape. Of course, how convenient. They are hiding evidence. Meanwhile, the supervisor was supposed to investigate what happened with my car. She agreed to give me the incident report but the assistant store manager didn't. I would not recommend anybody to take their car for an oil change to Walmart. They are a very dishonest corporation and will not own up to their wrongdoings.

    I got an oil change at Walmart and they used bad filter which caused oil to leak and almost damaged the engine. On 07/21/2012, I went to Walmart to change the oil. I started to hear noises in the engine. So, I set an appointment with Town and Country Ford to see what was causing these noises. On 10/11/2012, I left my 2008 Ford Edge at the dealer. Two days later, Mike from the service department told me that whoever changed the oil put a bad filter which caused oil to leak and I am lucky the engine was not damaged. I went back to Walmart and spoke with the store manager and explained to him my situation and asked to refund me my money that I paid to fix the leak. He refused to do so and told me to do whatever I wanted. I am in contact with the claim department. If I do not get my full refund plus the cost of the rental car, my attorney will file a lawsuit in small claims court.

    I have a 2012 Honda Civic and I went to Walmart today for an oil change. After my oil was changed, I got on the interstate to head into town. Once I hit around 55mph, I heard a loud banging and then felt something hitting the ground under my car. I pulled off on the shoulder and looked under the car and saw the metal flap guard hanging down and the front part bent slightly backwards. I immediately went back to Walmart. When I went inside, I told the technician at the front counter that I was just in and what had happened after I left. He took my keys and walked to the back. About 20 minutes later, another technician came out and asked me to come outside. Once outside, he stated he remembered my car and that one of the bolts had been missing and that's probably why the flap was hanging! I could not believe they knew a bolt was missing but let me drive off without mentioning this fact.

    I asked to speak with the service manager. The service manager seemed annoyed after I asked him why they did not inform me of a bolt missing and why they would just allow me to drive off. I explained the situation could have been a lot worse had the flap came completely down causing me to wreck. He just shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't know what to say. I demanded a full refund for my oil change. He then stated he could not do refunds over $25.00 and paged the store manager to come to the service department. About 5 minutes later, the store manager called the service manager. The service manager explained the situation over the phone. The service manager proceeded to tell me that all they could do is give me a $10.00 gift card, but no refund. I demanded that the store manager come speak with me, but no manager ever came.

    Finally, another gentleman in the service department said, "Just refund her the money" and they did. After almost an hour, I never received a proper apology from anyone at Walmart. I had my 14-year-old daughter and my 72 years old mother in the car with me, and if I had wrecked due to Walmart's neglect, would I get an apology then?! I will never shop at Walmart again and I will let my friends and family know how I was treated.

    I bought two front tires at Heath Ohio Wal-Mart. Tires went low after a year and a half. I was told they would not replace them because they were driven low - 50k mile tires with only 20k driven. Their service sucks. I had to buy two new tires to replace my two slightly used tires. I'm tired of getting gouged by these people.

    I just attempted to return a battery to the store where it was purchased in, I believe, Aug 2011. I am going by the punch-out dated on the battery. The cashier tested the battery and it showed dead cell/replace battery. He stated to me that he thought the battery was purchased in 2001, not 2011, because with the old system, two of the numbers as well as the month would have been punched; and he could not replace the battery. I have misplaced the receipt for the purchase and had no other proof. In my defense, (1) I know where and about the time I bought the battery; (2) that store did not exist on 32nd Street, Yuma, Az., in 2001; (3) I did not arrive in Yuma until 2003; (4) I did not buy the truck or the battery until well after those dates; (5) 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, which two numbers would indicate 2011? Is there some other way to identify batteries that you have sold at that store such as the barcode? Can I get some help here?

    I have recently retired from a career in the automotive service field and have come to the conclusion that Wal-Mart does business because they are cheap (not inexpensive, cheap). Their customer service rates about as low as it goes. It took me 5 1/2 hours to get an oil change last Friday at the Burgess Road Wal-Mart. I ended up at another shop because the technicians at Wal-Mart could not put in a new oil plug. I was initially told it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours, which was ok with me. When I returned after 1 1/2 hours, my vehicle was in the shop, but no one was working on it.

    I saw several employees standing around talking. I waited, then approached an associate, and then said, "Excuse me." She looked at me and stated, "I don't know what’s going on." She said she had other things to do and that she would find out. I finally had to ask a technician who said they were having a problem with the drain plug but they would have it fixed shortly. After another hour of employees avoiding me, I approached someone who looked in charge. She was trying to find a drain plug. Finally, I was told that I would have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. The second shop fixed it by installing a drain plug, and I was on my way after killing a whole day. I know things happen, I've been there, but to be treated like I was a pain because they screwed up my car was intolerable. I will never go back to Wal-Mart for car services.

    On 9/12/2012, my fiancee and I took our 2008 Corolla into the Nampa, ID Wal-Mart for an oil change. We asked for the lowest oil change package and asked them not to touch our transmission or anything else as our car is still under warranty with only 45k miles on it. When the oil change was complete and we were called back to TLE, we were told that our car had a transmission leak and that they filled the transmission fluid. Our car had absolutely no problems until Wal-Mart touched it. We drove our car home and the next day when we drove it out of the driveway, we had spots all over our driveway that had never been there before due to this leak. We immediately called Wal-Mart and went in to file a claim. We were met by two assistant managers who gave us a statement too and took pictures of where they said our transmission was leaking from.

    The next day, we were contacted by Wal-Mart Claims, Jeremy, who said that it wasn't their fault that it was a preexisting condition and that they weren't at fault. I fought and fought on the phone with Jeremy and he just continued to give me the same response. Feeling like we had gotten nowhere with Wal-Mart, we took our car into the Toyota dealership since it was still under warranty to get the transmission looked at. Toyota called us the next day and told us that the damage to the transmission could not be covered under warranty, because it was caused by an outside force and that we needed to come in and look at the car.

    We immediately went to Toyota and they showed us our transmission cover sub-assembly had a large crack in it. They explained to us that damage like this could occur to the bottom of the part by a rock hitting it on the road but that the only way the damage to our vehicle could have been done was by the part being stuck by something because it was on the top on the part not on the bottom. We asked the technician if he could tell us about when this damage could have happened and he said that it was to have been recent or our car would have been totally broke down. He also asked us if we had had our car serviced lately. We told him we had just had it done at Wal-Mart and he told us that that was when it must have occurred because there was no other way that damage could have happened.

    We then went back to Wal-Mart with our broken piece in hand to speak with the Wal-Mart store manager. The store manager refused to speak with us and would not even come out of the back of the store. We were again met with another assistant manager who tried to tell us that they had already made the Insurance Claim and could not make another one. I then told the assistant manager that I was going to call the police on him because Wal-Mart had made a fraudulent claim and did not give them the correct evidence. He immediately went to the back of the store and got a camera and took more pictures of our broken piece, and sent us on our way saying there was nothing else they could do as a store. About two hours later, the store manager finally contacted me over the phone and I told her that Toyota said that we could all go over there and that they would explain to them what was going on.

    The store manager finally agreed to meet with me at Toyota to look at the car. The Wal-Mart manager and the assistant manager that originally took pictures of our car took more photos of our car at the dealership claiming that they were going to send them into the Claims office. The customer service was so terrible that we decided to contact 1-800-Walmart to tell them about our experience. While on the phone, we were informed that the Nampa Wal-Mart had closed out or claim and that nothing was being done with it. This wasn't even two hours after we met with the store manager at the Toyota dealership! Due to this experience, Wal-Mart has lost us as customers and many more as we tell our story!

    Last December 2011 and today, 09/11/12, I had a flat a few miles away from your store. I refill my tire and drove to your store at Alamo, TX, Expressway 83, I arrived almost flat. I asked the tire to be fixed. Later they called me in and told me that my tire could not be replaced due to it having a gash on the side. They told me it was road hazard damage and I had to replace the tire. I looked at the gash on my tire and it was not rough, had no signs of dirt road or stains, it was a clean cut very thin like it was made with a knife. I should have taken a photograph, but I did not. This is the second time that it happened in this store, I could be wrong but you need to look into this. The cut was just too clean, and by the way, it was a brand new tire that I bought in another Wal-Mart. I almost forgot, I talked to **, a store manager about this on 09/11/12, around 7:10pm from my home phone.

    I went to Wal-Mart Oil and Lube for regular oil change. I haven’t made it out of the parking lot yet when the check engine light and transmission light came on. I went back and asked them to check it twice, and they said they don’t deal with the lights and I would have to go to dealer. I understand that, but those lights were not on when I got there. I was very worried. I drove 10 miles home and transmission started slipping. I called a friend to come and look because I could not get to the dealer and the transmission fluid was empty even though the receipt said they checked it. I’m looking now for damage. My car is a 2010 model. I am not happy! I will never go back.

    I went to Wal-Mart on Monday (Labor Day) to get a nail out of my tire and was told they would be going to lunch from 12 to 1. I returned at 1 to find a note on the door inside the store saying: “Closed till 2.” I waited around and finally a worker came back and I asked him if I could get it fixed. It is now 2:10 and he said it’s going to be another 25 minutes before they will come back. I talked to two acting managers. A man in a wheel chair requested to have a rad hose installed and he was told they were too busy, but there were no cars in the bays. Wow, this department is a joke.

    I went in to buy 2 new tires for my grandson's truck at 3:02PM and were told shorthanded. We were told probably be close to 5:00PM before it will be ready. We did some shopping as we didn't want to make another trip. We got no call or page saying the vehicle was ready and when we went back shortly before 5PM to see if it was ready, we discovered it was ready since 3:58PM. We'd been waiting all this time, afraid to get refrigerated items because of delay. My husband and I are both diabetic and it delayed our meal time. To make matters worse, there was nobody at the desk and then another person walked up and got waited on before us. I can promise that I will never use that department of your store on Central Avenue in Hot Springs again and may take all my business somewhere else. This was very poor customer service and this is not the first time there has been problems in this store because of the way people are being treated.

    I have a shaking in the front tire on the right side of my car. I took my car to Alignment Pros in Sioux City, Iowa and had the front end aligned. They have been around for over 30 years. They aligned the car and said that everything was fine with the front end, but that one of the tires had an issue because it pulled to the right if you had the right tire on the right side, so they rotated the tires from one side to the other side. Now, the car pulled to the left. They said that one of the tires had a problem.

    So, I went to the Walmart where I bought the tires and they rebalanced the tires and said that everything was fine. I drove off and guess what? I had the shake in the front and it pulled to the left bad and you still cannot drive over 50 miles an hour without having a shake. So, I went back. That was when they told the manager that I had a bent rim that they never told me about and Alignment Pros never told me this.

    Alignment Pros would have told me if I had a bent rim, and they never did say it was a tire. Anyway, why when I got the tires Walmart in South Sioux City, Nebraska a month ago in July, they never told me of a bent rim and when I was there today, 8-29-12, the tire shop never said anything about a bent rim. The Walmart store only told me when the manager came and said they could not do anything about it. I said, "Maybe I need to go and get new tires elsewhere," and the manager told me that he would refund me all that I paid for the Viva 2s that I had on the car.

    I took him up on this because I will get my tires at another Walmart to prove the the manager of the South Sioux City store that it was the tire and they need to get rid of the high school student that they had working for them and Walmart needs to fix tires when they have a problem instead of telling people that they cannot replace tires that people pay for in their warranty. Besides, everyone that has gotten screwed by Walmart needs to write their congressmen and have them shut down all the Walmart stores lying to their customers and not taking care of warranties when people pay for them.

    Battery installed wrong - I came to Wal-Mart on Aug 25, 2012 at approximately 9:48 am to have my battery recharged and the technician stated it would be an hour, so I waited until 10:48 am. He came back to inform us that the battery was dead. We asked him how much does the cheapest battery cost. He stated $54.98 without tax. We purchased the battery at 11:08 am. The technician installed the battery and we came home. We live about 10 minutes away from Wal-Mart. We parked the car and we didn't leave out again until 5:45 pm. We started driving North on Providence before we got to the storage when our car turned off. I immediately made a right turn in Rooms To Go parking lot on the left hand side and my children was in the car. When the car finally came to a stop, I popped the hood. My husband lift it up to find that one of the port or prongs, whatever it's called, on the + side had pulled out and battery acid covered the wires and other parts of the car and smoke was everywhere. So, I waited for my brother to come pick my husband up because somebody had to stay with the car and kids because our windows were rolled down and it was dark with the kids in the car.

    My husband and brother arrived at Wal-Mart at approximately 8:00 pm. My husband stated that the technician installed our battery wrong and he didn't place the brace back on to hold the battery in place. Since battery acid was coming from the damaged battery, CSR had to contain the leak. Once they contained the leak, the service desk rep stated she was going to get a manager because the information didn't match. After a 30-minute wait, the CSR stated that the manager was in a meeting. My husband contacted me and we talked as we waited on the manager. My husband kept asking when the manager is going to come because he has his wife and kids in a broken down car. They stated she was coming. After 45 minutes elapsed, I asked my husband for the phone number to customer service. I called and asked to speak to a manager and was placed on hold. After 5 minutes, a manager came to the phone. I told her my husband brought back the damaged battery and asked what is taking so long to do any exchange when my battery has a year warranty on it. She stated they still had to contain the leak. I told her the leak was already contained about an hour ago. I asked what’s going on because my kids and I are in the car waiting for my husband to return.

    Pat asked me to hold on and she didn't return for 30 minutes. Then, she stated that she authorized the return and they should be finishing up now. But instead of rep. doing an exchange, she did the transaction as a return and gave my husband $60.44 and we got discounted $9 because we turn in our old battery earlier that day for the core. I got off the phone with Pat and switched over to my husband. When he went to the automotive department with Jonathan, they double-checked the book to make sure we had the right battery before we left. During checkout, they told my husband he owed $9 because that's the core charge. My husband stated they needed to stop playing with him because he has been inconvenienced for over 2 hours waiting for her manager to get out of this unknown meeting and his kids and wife were in the car at Rooms To Go and his brother-in-law and kids were being inconvenienced too. They had already taken our old battery earlier today plus they had the damaged battery so there shouldn't be a core charge when they had both batteries in their possession. And they didn't want to give my husband the battery so another rep. came and handled the issues because they already had the battery in their possession, so it shouldn't have been a core charge because it was returned.

    My husband asked for the store manager’s name. Pat stated the store didn't have one so we asked for the district manager’s name and number. They all stated they didn't know it. So finally after another 15 minutes elapsed, they finally stated Judy ** is their district manager and her number is **. I believe I need to have a lawyer to represent my case for damages and negligence. I felt this issue was handled very carelessly especially since their auto technician didn't install the battery appropriately and my entire family was strained, not to mention the car could've blown up or caught on fire from all the battery acid pouring out. Now, I have to get my car checked to see if the battery acid is going to damage all the wiring and other parts in the car. So now, I might be out an entire day and they want to utilize bad customer service when our safety is at risk.

    I was on my way to work (about 2 miles from) when my low tire pressure light came on. The car was riding okay and I didn't hear any noises or feel any difference. So, I figured I would drive to Walmart after work and have it checked out. Someone from my office came in and told me that I had a flat. I called AAA and had them remove the tire and put the spare on. After work, I went to Walmart to have the tire repaired and was told that because I drove on the tire (2 miles) that it was not covered by the warranty and I would have to buy a new tire. What was I supposed to do? Stop driving immediately in the middle of the road and call for someone to come and help me? I didn't even know that I had a flat because there were no signs until after a co-worker noticed it later.

    On August 15, 2012, I took a tire in for a flat repair. My arrival time was 7:15 am. While I was waiting, they took me into the shop to look at the tire; they said I shouldn't run the tire on the vehicle for the inside was a small scuff. The hole in the tire was in the middle of tread. I told them this tire is almost new and is under warranty from where I bought the set in Omaha. They insisted that I shouldn’t even run it on the car, but they finally did after much resistance on doing so. The employee was even told to comment this on the work sheet about not to run the tire on the vehicle. When I got back to Omaha, I had Jensen Tire and Auto check out the tire and was informed that Walmart was trying to just get me to buy a new tire which I didn't need. I feel they are scamming people that don't know much about tires and needs to be addressed. This is from the Walmart tire center in Eldorado, Kansas.

    I went to Walmart and I got my oil changed. Everything was fine until I went to change the oil myself for its next oil change. I went to loosen the bolt and they had stripped the bolt. Oil started to leak out. I took it back to Walmart to have it fixed. It turns out that the guy that tightened the bolt used the wrong wrench and did it the lazy way. So, Walmart had to replace the entire piece that the oil is in. I will never go back to Walmart for anything that has to do with fixing my truck.

    The assistant manager of Wal-Mart’s tire department named Vince with no last name (a co-worker woman claimed she don't know - after all the years working there) refused to honor, balance and rotate a warrantied left front tire, which I paid $20.00 a tire for the warranty besides the full price of $86.00 plus tax per tire. He claimed that the tread-wear reached its limit policy of 3. I asked what the reading says. He said it's 3. I said, “It's not below 3, so you're in the grey area. It will be okay,” but Vince still refused to honor the warranty.

    I found out today that Walmart lies to get your business. I had an oil change done on 8/3/12. Customer service said it would take 35 minutes. Two hours later, they called me back to have me start my truck. I was told by the department manager that he was unable to call me sooner because he was busy, but others who got there after me was already done. While waiting, another employee told me they tell customers a shorter time than what it will be to keep them there, and then they tell them later "sorry for the wait." Then they told me I needed air filter but didn’t carry a model for 2008 Dodge Ram truck (Good place for auto repair shop, wouldn’t it?). I will never have my oil changed there again.

    I went to get my oil changed at Watson Rd, Walmart in Buckeye, AZ. I told them to change the air filter. When I went to pick it up, they said they didn't have the tool (star driver) to change it. It's an 06 Chevy truck. If you can't change an air filter, they need to close their doors and the staff acted like a bunch of idiots. I'll never go back.

    I bought four tires and they did not last 60000 miles, not even close. I even bought hazard warranty. I had a nail in my tire but they refused to fix it because there’s not enough wear on the back tire. I asked for a prorated cost but Phil refused and offered only 15 dollars off a new tire. I got angry. I paid over 400 dollars on tires, at least cover one out of the four! I bought four other tires for my wife’s car, same brand (Goodyear) and they are not lasting either. I was with my family when all this happened. Phil’s two male and one female shop workers (total of four people) were bullying me out the door. I had to walk fast or Phil and his crew would plow over me and my family. I said, “Give my money back on the warranty bro please.” “Bro,” he laughed at me, “my name is Phil.” I explained to him that I am talking slang, my wife and I both have lived in the South where that term is used a lot and we have on both sides of our family African American descent. I felt insulted.

    I arrived at the Walmart Tire and Lube around 3:25. I was told what was ahead of me. It will be about 1 hour; 4:55 comes around and I notice my vehicle was parked outside. I asked how long it has been parked there; paperwork shows that they were done at 3:58. I waited an hour when my car servicing was complete. There was no paging of my name, no phone call. No one asked me what I was waiting for. I think there was a change of shifts because I ended up dealing with someone totally different. The unnecessary delay caused issues that I wish not to discuss. Signed, not too happy.

    My husband and I own a business. I do at the least $400 a week in shopping. Well, we are traveling through New Albany, Indiana and we needed a tire changed, and for one tire we waited 10 minutes before the man ahead of us found him in a stockroom with a woman and wanted $10 to air up his tire. He then told my husband he was refusing to change our tire with no reason. Yeah, it’s Sunday and it was the only place to get a tire. If anything happens to me, my husband, or our trailer, or anyone else, I will let people know it was Walmart’s tire department’s fault as they would not change my tire.

    We have people that want to work like the men and women who went to war for us. Why would you hire lazy people when we have people that really want to work?! The man would not give me his name. He has no name tag. I called the store and he was no help either. I will let people know about this and want something done to this guy - cut his hours, make him work with a manager so he will work and work his butt off. He likes the stockroom with girls in it.

    My dad loves the old Wal-Mart that Sam Walton built, but he doesn't understand that when Sam died, that Christian love died with him. Now Wal-Mart is just a money factor for the boys. I listened to my dad and took my VW Passat to Wal-Mart automotive for a headlamp. That's right, folks, a simple headlamp. I thought it would be complete in 1 hour, so I went back to retrieve my car and found a very young man dismantling my front end. He was unscrewing the frame from the front of the car. I said, "What are you doing and put my car back together." He said he had to remove the front parts under the hood to get to the lamp. I told him that I've watched VW change a bulb and they never dismantled the front end. A very young female tech chimed in and said, "Yeah, you have to do this for this type of care, because I've changed a bulb on these cars before."

    I got to the Winter Garden Village, and my computer panel indicated a malfunction. When I opened the hood, parts were just laying on top of the engine. I raced back to the Ocee Wal-Mart, and the manager was shocked when I showed him the 4 parts that were left sitting under my hood. He called the store manager, who was more than competent. She immediately said she would have the matter corrected. I said, "I'd go to the dealer." She said, "We'll take care of the repairs needed to make you whole." The VW dealer said, "You took a $40K German car to Wal-Mart. What were you thinking?" The dealer laughed so hard. He said, "We'll repair the damage they did for free if you promise never to take a $40K German sedan to Wal-Mart. We have to charge you for the bulb." I went back to the store, and the manager was super; she paid me for my gas $20 and apologized for the service.

    Take your Kia to Wal-Mart, but not your German sedan. Lesson learned! I came to find out they didn't even have the headlamp for my German sedan, and they don't typically do headlamps. Also, they have very immature automotive staff. I felt like I was talking to my secondary education students.

    I was charged for TPMS reset ($20). The tech didn't know how to reset, but charged anyway. I told them one tire was low. The light comes on and the tire’s still low. Checked items on the checklist weren't done (vacuum carpet, not sure about other things). When I complained, I got a $20 credit. I wonder how many are charged when services were not performed. I don't plan on returning to a Wal-Mart service center any time soon!

    I got a price for an oil change that includes an oil filter. They then said they did not have the oil filter for a 2010 Kia Sedona. If I bought it, they would take off from the price. The filter cost $10.98. After the oil change, they give me a $2 credit because I supplied the filter. If they told me they were not going to cover the cost, I would have gone someplace else. What turned out to be $58 (with tax) oil change, it cost me $67. I will never use Wal-Mart again. I complained to the manager but got nowhere. That is it for Wal-Mart.

    On Saturday, 30 Jun 2012, we were on I-64 headed from NE to WV when we noticed a wiggle in the right front tire. Because we travel a lot, we have used Walmart tires for years, counting on the nationwide service. I checked the road atlas and found New Albany, IN was the closest. When we pulled in right at noon, there was one car waiting in the lube line and one in the tire line so we thought things would go fairly quick even allowing for lunch breaks for the mechanics. When the tire paperwork wasn't in the dash, we were frustrated but figured things could only go up from there.

    Instead, they went down-down-down! First, they were checking people in outside in near 100-degree heat, and the sun was glaring on the little computer screen so the lady could barely read it, through no fault of hers. It was only her second day on the job and she was repeatedly apologizing. I moved inside to get out of the heat but my husband didn't have that opportunity. The paperwork shows we were finally checked in at 12:37 (remember, we arrived around noon). Why would anyone have a policy that didn't include checking people in inside during inclement weather? If it had been hailing, wouldn't they have moved inside? What's the difference? No customer, especially an elderly one, wants to stand out in the heat that long. I noticed they had moved the car into the lube bay and asked my husband about it. He said, "We might as well get that done while waiting on the tire bay."

    I went to get Subway's for lunch. After we finished eating, my husband went to get a few other things in the store while I stayed in the waiting room. I started thinking it was a long time for a lube job (the paperwork shows they didn't finish until 1:28 p.m.) and looked out. The car was back outside rather than in the tire bay and nothing had been said even though I was right there. There were now no cars in the garage and where there had been 4 mechanics, now there were none. No one was at the counter either and I couldn't locate anyone in the vicinity. I called my husband on the cell phone and told him I thought we had a problem. By the time he returned, there was still no one anywhere. With the door to the outside locked, we had no choice but to stay on the inside and wonder what was going on.

    Finally, another car came and a mechanic showed up from somewhere to check it in, still outside in the heat. It moved into a tire bay! We started pounding on the door glass to get the mechanic's attention and he finally came to see what we wanted. We asked what was going on. When would they look at our tire? He came inside and found our paperwork. There was nothing even on it showing we needed to have a tire checked and that was our only reason for being there! At 2:06, we were finally checked in for the tire. Since the car was loaded for our trip, my husband had specifically asked them to lock it when they finished just in case we weren't in the waiting room. When they went out to pull it back in, it wasn't locked.

    They found the tire did indeed have a belt separating. Ultimately, because of the age of the tires rather than the miles, we decided to replace all four tires. It shows they finished at 2:34 p.m. Now, again, no one let us know they were done even though we were right there. To make matters worse, when I checked and saw it was back out in the lot, it not only wasn't locked - the windows were even rolled down! By the time we settled the bill and departed, it was 3 p.m.! So much for getting through KY before the 105-degree heat hit. On the wall to the rear of the counter, it says your goal is our satisfaction. What a joke. Take down the sign!

    I have used Walmart for my tires and oil change but from now on I’ll never walk into another Walmart again. I will tell everyone who will listen to a dangerous situation your employee put me in. I went in to have my oil changed and my tires rotated on May 7th. I was very excited to see the girl who has checked me in since I got my car and we chatted. She wasn’t the one who was rude and treated me like I was garbage. My oil got changed and I was called.

    The lady behind the counter slapped a piece of paper down on the counter and said in a very rude voice sign this. I asked what I was signing and she said we couldn’t do your tires, they are bad. I asked her if they had any tires, and she looked at me and said go online we will put them on when you buy them online. Well, I had a cut in one tire and a gouge out in the other one. My tires at any time could have blown out and I could have been in a serious accident. Her nasty rude bad customer service isn’t the first time but it is the last time I’ll deal with Walmart.

    At Christmas time when I was trying to find Hanukkah items which no Walmart seems to carry, I got to listen to men talking about how they would treat a woman and it wasn’t very nice. And as they were on ladders, they were also laughing about tapping some woman’s bottom. Also, they were making comments about the store manager being off and they were so happy because they didn’t have to do half their work. As my husband and I were both looking for jobs at that time and having to watch every penny we had, these 2 men were talking about not caring if they had a job.

    This Walmart is disgraceful. The only reason I kept going back was because of a little cashier named Wendy, who no matter how tired she was, she had a smile and was extremely fun just to talk to and she is the only reason I went back. But now, I will not give Walmart my money anymore. I’m so hurt and tired that your employees think it’s okay not to care about customer service. This is the Kannapolis, North Carolina Walmart.

    I purchased tires at Shamokin Tire and Lube. The tires were the result of a vibration in my car as per a mechanic, in writing. I returned to Walmart, they replaced the tires. I arrived at 7:00AM and my car was serviced immediately. I had to be at the hospital for tests, which was why I made sure to be there early. I had to wait for more than 45 minutes, after my car was done, to leave because we had to wait for the manager to come and check to make sure the lug nuts were on securely. I do not know if this is common practice at all Walmarts, but I assure you I will not be returning to a Walmart for anything if I can help it. I am very disappointed and angry. I should also add, the person who waited on me originally offered to replace my tires for $100. I, however, informed her that I have it in writing that my tires, put on at this store, were defective. It was only then she did not charge me, but informed me they would only replace them free that one time. One very unhappy, former Walmart customer.

    We bought a motorcycle battery at our local Walmart and it would not take a charge. We called the service desk and were told, "No problem; bring it back." We returned to the store and were told to take it to Tire Service to try to get it charged. We did this and the man told us, "Sorry, battery is no good, take it to service desk for an exchange." We don't know how but we do not have a receipt for this battery and were told, "Too bad for you, we won't exchange without receipt." So, we paid forty dollars for a bad battery from you and nothing can be done about it? Rest assured, it will be the last forty dollars I ever spend in this Walmart.

    I have gone to Walmart many times and why so many is that this small town doesn't have many choices. I have asked the MGF many times to not overfill my engine. They didn't listen. The specs call for 6qt and they always put 7qt (I think this is to sell more oil). I never had much problems other than the check engine light will come on for the first few hundred miles as it is overfilled. Once the engine burns off that extra quart of oil, the light will go off. However, this last time, the vehicle left for a 1000+ mile trip. Once we returned to town, we found that due to the overfill, some minor damage was done to the engine, which I was lucky to be minor as it could have been a major repair.

    The minor damage could have been avoided if it was not for a new young driver and if Walmart did not overfill the oil. If Walmart would have put 6qt, the young driver would not have any problems whatsoever. The repair shop said the overfill of oil caused two of the spark plugs to fail as the computer read two misfires. The shop explained to me the overfill will cause the problem.

    I went to Walmart to get a tire replaced. It had blown out and I had some concerns about it. I asked the tech and said it was fine. That was a few days ago and just looked at the work order. The work order said the rim was bent even though the tech said the rim was fine. I've been working with cars and trucks for years and a bent rim is not something to overlook. I had a friend check his work order, same deal. The tech told us the rims were good even though on the work order it said rims were bent.

    This is dangerous, unprofessional, and I would think illegal. I was talking to some of the techs in the shop when they were doing it and they didn’t even know how to get the spare off of my friend’s truck. I feel they are improperly trained and as a safety precaution they tell you on a work order (not physically). They fold the order up and you place it in your glove box. Seems shady.

    Walmart bad lube job ruined my transmission - Tiffin, Ohio Walmart destroyed my 1977 924 Porsche transaxle. They said they checked the fluids and well, they didn't. I had the lube job done for a trip I was taking. The car barely made it back from the trip when the transaxle blew.

    I took my K-1500 4WD pickup to Walmart to get new tires. They checked the tire size I wanted and told me that "by law", they could not install those tires as they were too big. Well, I've been using those tires on that truck for many years and never had any issues. The truck is not stock and has a lift kit installed. I asked the guy which law was being violated and, of course, he did not know because it does not violate any law. I ended up taking the truck to Goodyear which installed the tires I wanted with no questions. Later in the day, I spoke to a friend of mine and he related that he had taken his car there to have the oil changed. When he pulled the car into the bay, a belt was squealing. They told him that it was "illegal" for them to work on his car since it was making a noise.

    These guys don't know the difference between their company policy and the law. That makes me question if they know the difference between oil grades, tire specs or anything else. I will never do business with these idiots again.

    Today on 5-20-2012, I went to the Wal-Mart in Weslaco, Texas to get a tire fix on my Pontiac Solstice. I arrived at 12 noon and was told it would take 1 hour to fix my flat. So I walked around the store, until I realized it was going to be 2:00 pm. So, I went to the automotive department to see what was going on with my car to see if they had fixed the flat yet. Man, to my disappointment, they had not even touched my car in almost 2 hours. So how long does it take to fix a stupid flat tire. I was told that they had gone to lunch and whoever was going to do it did not let anyone know. I would like to let you all know that I am very upset about this because of the lack of service and respect your store had for me as a customer.

    Reading some recent stories about Wal-Mart, I decided to share mine. A few years ago, I took my wife's car in for an oil change. It was late in the day and the service person at the desk said they had time to change the oil. Surprisingly, I didn't have to wait long. I drove the car home. After getting out of the car, I immediately noticed oil dripping from the bottom of the car. I popped the hood, and to my surprise, the oil cap was laying on top of the engine. There was oil everywhere.

    I called Wal-Mart which was going to close in 10 minutes. The tech said to bring the car back, and they'd redo the oil change. I checked the oil level and I had lost a little over a quart. I added a quart to be safe on the ride back to Wal-Mart. Upon arriving at Wal-Mart, I simply asked that they change the oil again, and clean the oil off that had blown all over the engine. They changed the oil and cleaned it as asked. Just as I was pulling out of the parking lot, the engine started to misfire.

    Apparently, they had dumped so much simple green on the engine to clean it, that it filled the spark plug holes. I ended up driving home with only 3 of the 4 cylinders operating properly. I am pretty positive on this due to the total lack of power. I took the car to a friend's house, who cleaned out the spark plug wires and got the car running correctly. I've dealt with a lot of idiots, but Wal-Mart Oil and Lube takes the cake. I have never brought a vehicle of mine back there again, and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

    I had the oil changed in my 2004 Buick Rainier on 5/4/2012. The low oil pressure light now comes on frequently. I never had a problem with this before the oil change at Walmart. I took it back to them and they said "it's nothing we did" and that was it. Now, I will have to pay to have this problem resolved, and that's after spending $50 on an oil change! I will never use the automotive services there again, and I will make sure to tell my friends and family not to either.

    April 28, 2012, while driving my 2004 Honda Element, it braking by itself, and came to a complete stop. I couldn't press the brake pedal, it was very tight. I had the truck towed by an AAA Auto authorized auto repair shop. The mechanic said that oil was put into the brake fluid line. Wherever I got my oil change, it had to have happened then.

    I got an oil change from the Walmart Oil and Lube in the Torrance Store in mid January 2012. The mechanic said the oil caused all the rubber to swell, causing my braking system to automatic stop. It took this long for it to flow through the braking system. I was out of $1,200.00 to have my brakes, calipers and master cylinder replaced. The only proof I had that Torrance Walmart Oil and Lube store changed the oil was the sticker in my window. I didn't keep my service paper work. Never imagined this would happen.

    Goodyear tire, dry rot on inner tire - This is not about what happened, it’s about how this was handled! I bought 4 tires from Walmart at the end of 08 and just this past Saturday, went to have an oil change at Midas Tire. They asked me to come take a look at my tire. They had never seen anything like this before, neither had I. I was planning on going to pick up my daughter that Wednesday from college and I was sick to my stomach because I was not supposed to change the oil in that car on Saturday. The guys at Midas discovered something that they never had seen before and I have not seen myself.

    So I went back to Walmart and they said they could not help me nor would Goodyear help you need new tires. Not once did they look at it, they just put a tire gauge on and said these 2 tires pass and these 2 need replacing. They stated at Walmart, "Oh that’s normal, your at the end of life with these and you need new tires." I said, "Thanks Captain Obvious." So, I went back to where my oil change was done at Midas and spent $805 on four tires and it wasn’t a Goodyear brand, it was Firestone. Not that I expected anything, I wanted to let someone know what happened.

    On 5/1/2012, I took my car into Walmart for an oil change. I did not drive it until 5/4 when I left for work. While driving, I noticed oil leaking from the car. I immediately drove it back to Walmart. The guy looked at it and said they overfilled the oil and caused damage. He suggested taking the car to a mechanic, then filing a claim. I left to the mechanic and was told a part burst due to the overfill, and I was charged $234. I filed a claim, and had a very rude person from the claim dept. call me back on 5/10. I was told that I could not prove it was their fault, even though the Walmart mechanic and the BrakeMaster mechanic said it was overfilled. My car was working, and no broken parts or oil leaks were mentioned when my oil was changed. Then, upon getting my car back from them, there is a broken part and leak. I think that is proof.

    When explaining my thoughts to the man, I was told that I was not speaking professionally enough to him. I was not yelling or using profanities, only asking why they would not cover an obvious mistake. He then said he was done answering my questions. When I asked for someone else to speak to, he told me to get it myself off the website. Never ever ever go to Walmart Service Center. I have crossed all Walmarts off my list. Why give money to a store who does not value its customers? I would rather pay more to a business who will fix its mistakes. We are not asking for a day lost of work, or even additional expenses, only the money for the part.

    I bought four (4) Douglas X-Trac 175/70R13 tires for my Honda Civic on 20 Nov. 2010 (odometer reading 190740) under service order **. The wear tread started showing on two (2) of them. I went to Walmart on 10 May 2012 (odometer reading 204486). Since the tires were sold to me with a 40,000 mile warranty and they were worn after only 13,746 miles, I was confident they would be pro-rated like at any other dealership when this occurs with tires or batteries. To my bewilderment, I was informed that Walmart does not honor tire warranties. I was confused because I thought maybe they thought I wanted free tires or some nonsense like that. So I chatted and explained that I could not comprehend how could they sell me 40,000 mile tires that last only 13,746 miles and claim they have no part on it. I was convinced I was missing something. But no, I was told they simply do not honor tire warranties at all and it was my luck they did not last.

    I picked a box of 12 candy and asked if they were selling 11 candy or 9 candy boxes under the 12 unit label, walked up to the tire rack and asked if the 65,000 mile warranty on the label meant anything or they may just last 7,000 miles and it's not their problem and I was told the answer was yes. They have nothing to do with the tires they sell. I asked if we could call the tire manufacturer together and their reply was that they do not participate in that. By then my boss was calling me back to work. I have had the same conversation with three different people and had to get back to work after losing the morning so I bought two (2) new tires ( service order **) since I could not take another morning off and it was too late to head to another dealer.

    Please understand this, everyone was polite and nobody tried to make any excuses. I was directly informed in no unclear terms that Walmart does not honor tire warranties. When you buy a tire at Walmart, they have no regard for the product they are selling you. It may last or not, and it is none of their business.

    It is well understood that nobody will honor damage from nails or glass, neither wear due to misalignment or imbalance, as these problems have nothing to with the tire quality.

    A similar experience at Sears with Michelin tires ended up in pro-rating the price of new ones. A similar experience at a Toyota dealership ended up in the dealership dealing with Good Year and getting tires at pro-rate price. It is the first time ever I see a clear premature wear and the seller telling me to take it with "Douglas". I do not see how I could possibly drive to the "Douglas" factory (where?) and deal with whom?
