Absolutely amazing, so easy to set up an account and upload it. The information of what you want to shift. I got an excellent prize and dispatch kept me apprised at every step of the way the driver was so kind in helping me load the vehicle. And the delivery happened 3 days early, which was amazing. I hope we know that customer service like this is rare, beautiful. These days and I hope if you ship anything that you call this company.

I went to Uship thinking it might help get a reasonable cost for shipment of an 11,550 pound skid steer to Hawaii from Indiana. I ended up not using them and paid for the directly these amounts: Trucking to the West Coast from Indiana was $3,300 including broker fee and no cost for insurance on load. Shipment cost for ocean transport from Port of San Diego to Hilo through Pasha lines was $4250. For trucking the load by a very reputable local firm from the port of Hilo to my home, $350, So my total cost door to door was $7,900. By contrast ll of of the bids were well above that in the mid $20,000 and up to 27,000 range. Here is an example from a recent email. "$26,999. from CPL Logistics." In short my experience was a complete waste of my time and I would never use USHIP again.

We had a small shipment of furniture between Bellingham, WA and LA, CA. Several offers came in, starting at the high side. I finally found 2 for 1/2 the amount of the 1st offers and settled on one. The driver was easy to work with and communicated well. The package was delivered in less than a week after pickup (the driver shrink wrapped and covered the items with a tarp, so it was unnecessary to pay for wrapping) and arrived in great shape. I would use USHIP again.

Good exposure to options for shipping....I used uShip now for several years and if you're not in a hurry eventually you will get a good deal. But some are definitely giving you premium quote.but like I said you can get a good deal if you have time to wait

I had my 2 motorcycles shipped from New York to Wyoming. This was my first time using UShip and I will 100% use it again. The quote was inexpensive and the driver was wonderful. He kept me updated and communicated so well. What a great experience!

I made a phone purchase at a retail outlet store and the company did not do delivery. I was recommended UShip by the salesperson and gave it a try. Simple process and step by step completed delivery to my home. Juan delivered on time, no damage, and the payment was handled safely. I will use UShip again.

Very disappointed in my experience with U-Ship. We hired a shipper who supposedly had a 5-star review history to move a king size bed for us. He committed to a particular pickup day, then after multiple days of delays, he canceled pickup completely on the day he was supposed to finally pick up. Making matters worse, U-Ship customer service was not helpful. They told me they do not guarantee their product, and if a shipper cancels on us at the last minute and forces us to scramble to find backup options, that's our problem and not theirs. Because U-Ship does not guarantee their product, I will not be using them again.

I highly recommend uShip for anyone needing to ship an item to another area of the country. Within an hour of creating my account and writing up my item to ship, I had several companies interested. Uship provided a very secure platform to communicate with the bidders and to transfer funds when service was delivered.

Seller on Facebook marketplace recommend uShip. As previous reviews, I had a lot of anxiety purchasing a previously owned sofa 3 states away, and having it shipped as well. Seller highly recommended uShip. I immediately received about 5 delivery offers. Read reviews and choose KGM LLC. Full communication every step of the way. Price was great! I would advise any consumer to avoid purchasing the uShip Protection Plan. After a piece of furniture was damaged in transit, my Protection Plan was useless. First, I was not sent a detailed list of "exclusions" related to the plan due to an internet problem on the company website. I was told that my policy would not be honored due to a detail that I was not aware of when I signed the documentation because I did not receive the full contract. Secondly, I was asked to send in a large volume of information TWICE about my case (so that the case could be resolved) only to have my case denied. I am now seeing so many complaints on line about the uShip Protection Plan. I wish I had seen these reviews earlier.

Everything was handled in a good way. The towing service in an excellent fashion. The person doing the haul kept me posted to progress all along the way. When he arrived he helped us launch the boat and made sure everything was working.

Having just lost $700 using Shiply, I very much appreciate uShip making sure that I am satisfied before they released the payment. I had 4 prior uShip shipments and I should have never ventured away. Shiply just said "Sorry, the company we set you up with was a scammer."

I've used uShip on at least four separate occasions and consistently I've had great experiences. Some shipments were local, but others were ~7 hours away and every team I've used has been professional, timely, and fairly priced. I'd recommend uShip to anyone needing to ship things nationally.

Sent 2 E-bikes from Miami to LA over a month ago, still haven't arrived. ETA was 7-10 days. UShip has been no help; I filed a claim with insurance, but there is no help. U-Ship doesn't vet the drivers or the vehicles. There is no quality assurance. I ship often and thought I'd try U-Ship, but never again. Terrible service. Avoid.

I shipped with uShip because of the immediate response and fair rate quoted vs. two other carriers I had contacted. Everything went smoothly until couple of days before the expected date of the shipment arrival, when I was promised a notification would be send confirming exact date of drop off. That never happened, and in short, they only call upon arrival at the delivery site. Creating a non delivery since no one was there to accept it. Long story, it took another week for the delivery, and just today 3/4/25, exactly 3 weeks after delivery, They poste an additional charge on my cc on record for $139.12 no explanation!
BOL #** additional payment processed. If they charge that amount for Re-delivery, it is disappointing since the online tracking system does not have a gps function, only tell you approximately when the shipment will arrive, so it is on them to keep the customer informed, which I was not. So I feel cheated. Since uShip is not the carrier but the logistics, neither one took responsibility for notifying exact arrival, it is. Just left to driver to call and he didn’t!!! PS. Shipping crate was in pieces at delivery and and contents dented.

I have used UShip twice with excellent results. It is essentially a broker for small independent shipping and moving companies. UShip provides a convenient and easy to use system for soliciting bids on moving different kinds of items. In my case I used it to ship furniture. The manage the bid process, provide optional insurance coverage and act as an escrow agent for ensuring payment to the shipper but not until after delivery. I found it to be an excellent service.

I had no problem with anything until I had to file a claim for damages. I had an antique rocking chair shipped to me (family heirloom). I purchased the “Protection Plan” because I understand that things can happen. The bottom rail of the chair was cracked during transport. I filed a claim, they denied saying the damage occurred either before or after delivery not during. I have pictures proving the damage that happened during delivery. I filed an appeal, I heard nothing from them even though I kept sending emails asking for an update. It wasn’t until I threatened to report them to the BBB I immediately got back a denial on my appeal saying just see the reason for the first denial. There is nobody to actually speak to, you have to do everything through email, which just lets them easily have no accountability.

I loved the husband and wife who moved my precious chairs from Charleston, SC to Miami, Florida. It was so much less expensive than me hiring a mover. The people/ movers were so polite and communicative. Loved the whole experience.

This is my first experience with uShip. I bought a set of four expensive pieces of furniture on eBay that needed to be shipping from Ohio to Maryland. After researching other shipping options, such as moving companies, I landed on uShip, whose options were a fraction of any mover’s cost. It is unsettling enough to buy anything of value online, sight unseen and even more anxiety-provoking to have the valuables shipped by an unknown shipper.
I gambled on uShip because of its reviews and fully-vetted site. The result: it took about ten days for my shipment to arrive. The shipper was a small family firm that excelled every step of the way, from picking up and wrapping to delivery and unwrapping. I couldn’t have asked for more - at a very reasonable cost. Extremely satisfied. Would highly recommend and use again!

I found Uship through a quick online search. After a brief review of the website, I decided to give it a shot by getting a car from Ohio to Texas. Signing up and getting quotes was pretty straightforward with a number of vendor options returned. Only downside is that both Uship and the company I engaged are brokers; with the transaction going between two platforms. The company that fulfilled the service did a good job. The workflow is all digital and easy to track.

Great service, good price, as well as communications. They work with your schedule and make it pretty simple and smooth. You receive several quotes from different drivers. You can check their referrals and see photos of their vehicle as well. You have options. It was really important to me that my things weren't mixed with someone else's things. I have had movers lose my things on every move I made.

I used Uship to move from AK to SC. Had delivery issues for a week. Was charge storage fees from time of pickup and some of my things were missing. Can't get a response from the carrier. I would not use this company.

I had to get a large iron garden sculpture from St. Petersburg to McLean Virginia. Too big for the plane. Uship was about $200 cheaper than Fedex. They delivered it within a week. Kept me informed of progress. The gentlemen were very courteous. I had used Uship once before and will use them again if the need arises.

I went to UPS. Wanted to charge $700-$1000. I had to find something else, then I realized my sister used this service once before. I then put a bid for $30 and they accepted. My driver was amazing. He got it here on the day promised and kept me up with all his updates on ETA. Great service. Great price.

We needed our trailer shipped four states west. This was our first time ever needing this type of service. We googled a few options and chose UShip. This was very easy to make happen with this company's website. Just answer a few questions about your item/s being shipped, post, wait for bids, which come quickly through email or app, and wait until you choose the transporter you feel is best fit. Highly recommend.

Communication was excellent...that was the most important thing for us. Also, car was loaded in California and unloaded in Illinois with care, and suffered no damage. Also, worked with my schedule. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have moved guitars, a concrete statue, and now two cars with UShip, and it has always been a great experience.

Terrible experience! I hired Uship for car transportation services, and the job was assigned to a subcontracting company (TEMPUSLOGIX). I called and emailed them multiple times with specific instructions for the pickup and delivery. They assured me that my requests would be followed. However, when the car was delivered, I discovered that none of my requests had been fulfilled. Additionally, the car was delivered with a dead battery. The driver connected the jumper cables incorrectly, which blew a fuse and damaged some components of the car.

Poor experience from the delivery side. Not sure it was uShip's fault. But they chose not to get involved. The actual price and serviceability of the engagement worked as expected. I got the lower price. Bought the insurance. The boat arrived early (was out of town) and wanted to be paid. Shipper would not release the boat. Shipper did $900 damage to the boat. He cried the blues and promised to pay out of his own pocket, After many calls he did NOT. Asked UShip for assistance, they said it was beyond the timeline they could assist.

Under any circumstances, don't do business with uShip. They quoted me $355, billed me $683.40, and when my shipment (insured) arrived damaged, denied my claim, & then they sucked $990 out of my credit card account.

I have used uShip several times now and had great success. I receive multiple offers almost immediately and have never had an issue getting a shipment delivered. The transporters I have hired have all been timely and no damage to the item was found. Setting up the request for transport is slightly difficult, but necessary to get accurate quotes. This is my go to when I need a tiny house trailer brought to me. I like that I can negotiate pricing for my shipment and review each offer. Price, ease of use, communication and timely delivery are some of my favorite things about uShip.

Vehicle was damaged during pickup and pickup driver spoke no English and didn't have any translation software. Scheduled pickup time was over 4 hours late without any notification. When the company was contacted, they responded stating they were just the broker and go after the driver who never responded. Buyer beware.

They charge an absurd fee. That includes the shipper and the carrier $67 on a $200 contract! And it confusing, the carrier agreed to 200, I paid that, then it only gives 175 to carrier and he shows me his side of only 175, out of which he only gets I think 133, so what do you do? Costed me another $25. Was trying to be fair to him…

I would highly caution anyone from using uShip. They take no accountability or responsibility for the shipping experience claiming they are the middleman only. They do take your money as a service fee with absolutely no value added. They do not vet their shippers. What's the point of using a middleman if they add no vetting or value. It’s better to seek out shipping companies or independent shippers. Save your money.
The shipper (driver and helper) picked up my $6000 Roche Bobois leather couch at my residence in MA. Upon arrival in IL, the receiver of the couch was meet by just the driver who attempted to deliver the couch to a third floor walk up himself. He was not able to deliver the couch to the condo. The shipper knew the delivery was on the third floor of a walk up. This was part of the contract and noted on the BOL. The shipper left the couch outside on the ground level and departed. I had to hire movers to bring the couch into the condo 2 days later. The original delivery was on a Friday night and was not able to get movers until Monday morning. I reached out to UShip Saturday with no reply until Monday stating they were just the middleman. I had purchased insurance but they wouldn't recognize the claim.

Very bad experience. I had my motorcycle shipped across states with an enclosed transport. When my motorcycle arrived it was severely damaged. The kickstand was sheared off, the engine block was cracked and all the oil drained out, the front rim was bent in two places, and the guarding around the left cylinder head was cracked and damaged. This damage totaled my motorcycle. I paid for the protection plan when booking shipment. I filed the claim for the damage with uShip upon delivery and they have been completely unresponsive. The claims department is unreachable by phone. Can only email. I send emails daily asking for an update but no response. I am now out the value of my motorcycle, the shipping cost, my time and currently no transportation. Because of my experience I would not recommend anyone to use this company. I will be taking legal action next.

Advice? Find someone else. Quoted, accepted, paid. Weeks later I get an invoice from UShip for an upcharge. I know you’re a third party but stand behind the quote. Go to bat for your customer. Load was listed as NOT being able to be stacked. So the pallet was inches higher than originally thought. You couldn’t use the space above the pallet anyways! So why did the few extra inches need an extra charge? I’ve heard size matters- but really?! Must need to charge for airspace. Also, shall we talk about timing..? Delivery was a week late. I know that’s Central Transports problem- don’t use them either.

They are liars, asking me to pay another $450 after they send me the quote and delivery date .. You not have to to do it. They can reject but then they baked the shipment and delivered. They go to charge your credit card for extra money.

My car needs to be revved 1 minutes before starting. Told driver. Not sure if he had to move my car, while arranging vehicles. Got my car safe. There was slight disagreement on the place to drop off. But the nice driver understood and helped me. Don't do it on purpose. Be accurate with your location of dropoff.

I needed to send 20+ boxes, residential delivery from Baltimore area to Cleveland area. In preparation to ship this pallet of stuff to family, I expected a nightmare. My actual experience was more like a dream. UShip made the process simple. After creating my order, I had questions and requests for clarification within minutes and had competitive price quotes from several companies in a few hours. The company I settled on (Lower48Freight) was incredible. The representative I dealt with (Leon) was kind and always available with shipping status and answers to any questions. Worst experience ever. I thought they were a credible company however they don't vet their drivers. So practically anyone can get on their website and that's how they managed to Steal my brand new motorcycle. When I contacted uShip they said they can't do anything so I'm stuck now without a motorcycle. A $15000 lost. After reaching out to them and asking for help they just canceled my account stating they can call my account for any or no reason. Please don't use them. uShip scammed me! I bought a shipment, it went fine. Then uShip started spamming me with requests for a positive review. After about 3 or 4 emails coming in jamming up my inbox, I blocked them. No big deal I thought. Here comes the scam - Almost a month after the completion of the shipment, the shipper decides the price should have been higher for no particular reason (the classification information and weights I provided were all accurate). How much higher? 33% higher!!
They sent out a notification by email that was shuffled into my spam folder. They used the same card information I provided at the time of purchase to hit me with a charge. They say I had 72 hours to respond to their email which went to spam. I'm trying to dispute the charge with my bank but will probably have to pay for this very underhanded scam. I'm sure if I had given them a positive review when they spammed me asking for it, that would have been used against me when disputing the charges. This is all clearly on purpose. uShip should be called uShifty - because they are a scam!!

Where do I even begin. The app is not user friendly. The app constantly crashes or just won't work. Website is equally as bad. Very hard to navigate. Forget about trying to call them. Email responses to issues take days. Good portion of the drivers have no ratings, or tons of cancellations and clear customer service issues. They charge a commission on the price you pay, a service fee and insurance because the drivers who are 1099 don't have their own insurance. Beware!!!!

My wife and I were told to expect our car on a certain date so we took off work to be home to take delivery. While tracking our car, we noticed it traveling 3 states in the WRONG direction because the driver contracted thru uShip went to pick up another vehicle and mine had to go along for the ride. We then had to take off work a second day. They were unwilling to reimburse us for the trouble. Save yourself heartache and hire a driver directly instead of using a 3rd party broker.

I transported my car from KY to IL with their help. Overall I had a good experience with them. If you have a company it would be more efficient to transport it through ** as the broker that I hired on uShip used Central Dispatch to get me a carrier who will actually do the job.

The experience was great and simple. I am a cabinet build and woodworker. I Needed to ship two cat litter enclosures cabinets to a customer in Staten Island. Had multiple bids for the delivery. Ultimately chosen a carrier who could deliver it same day and not with other shipments. The UShip process was smooth. Made the payment and then released the payment once I had proof of receipt by the customer. All went well and just as described and expected. Will probably start using this service over the big carriers like UPS and FedEx who sometimes damage the merchandise or have delays.

Price estimated by uShip was hundreds of dollars less than what I ended up paying to ship motorcycle from Reno to San Diego. Had to cancel original listing, then relist at higher price since no shipper was offering to ship motorcycle at the price estimated by uship.

I would not recommend you use this company. They connected my daughter to a company called Diesel Auto Express. The company is a FRAUD. The driver lost my keys and the company refused to reimburse us for new keys. The customer service is horrible and the communications was horrendous. DO NOT USE USHIP. FRAUD.

As a service provider/carrier, your terms and conditions mean nothing to uShip and they will hold payment and eventually "absorb" it if the customer doesn't agree to settle things. Had a customer damage their own banister while taking in a couch, blaming it on us in April 2023. Our terms explicitly stated that we do not take liability for damage if loading/unloading assistance is requested, customer jammed the couch against the banister, customer of course wanted to blame it on us, and all we were told was "uShip is just 3rd party, so they cant do anything until customer & I come to an agreement" and then take the $ for themselves if you never do. They do not care about carriers or enforcing anything on their website (and on top of everything take upwards of 20% of every shipment from customers AND carriers.... I will be sure to get my lawyer involved here as these quotes are contractual obligations and this is a clear breach, even as "3rd party".
I am sorry to hear about your experience with the uShip shipper. If the shipper refuses to release payment, our best course of action is to open communication between both parties to see if they can come to a resolution.
It's important to us that carriers are paid for delivering shipments, and the Member Support team will do everything in their power for both parties to seek an amicable resolution. Unfortunately, sometimes both parties cannot come to a compromise and we will advise to seek resolution options offsite.
I think it's important to note that we advise shippers to release payment at delivery regardless of the conditions of the items, however, we cannot release the payment without their consent.

I used Uship to find a transport for my motorcycle. They sent me a company named Ultimate 123. Ultimate doesn't have any cargo insurance. They put a driver on my transport who dropped my motorcycle off the trailer and decided to try and fix the motorcycle himself with tape, Bondo and spray paint. There was significant damage to the motorcycle and to top it off Ultimate 123 will not cover the damages because they do not carry cargo insurance. I had to hire an attorney to collect payment for the damages.

Do not hire these people, or if you do beware of the protection plan. It is written in such a way it protects them. Had a truck hauled with the new wheels and tires on the back. I received missing a wheel. Nothing they can do, sorry paperwork? No one is accountable

I contracted uShip for a truck to be shipped on certain dates. A shipper took the offer and then after deposit was made shipper changed dates. I contacted uship and was told they could help. I had to leave on vacation late and go out of my way to get item shipped.

If you enjoy the circus with football bats and clown shoes, then you will enjoy working with Uship and SGT Auto Transport, as this is all they provide you…a three-ring circus with endless hours on the phone, emails, and live chat attempting to get the order correct and finding ways to overcharge you. In my case the partner company “SGT Auto Transport”, should rename their company properly to “SGT Fraud with a Twist of Bait and Switch Transport”…as Uship sets you up for the fraud, SGT Auto Transport finishes you off by holding you and your car hostage until they get an extra 43% CASH fee from you. I agreed to $595.10 ($541.00 to ship car UShip charges 10% or $54.10) of which $54.10 is a service fee from Uship, which is NOT disclosed until you sign the contract. Total I was forced to pay to get my car delivered was $845.10.
I contacted Uship to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with their service; they sent back a robot email: “We are sorry to hear about the experience with this shipment. Though uShip is a neutral third party that connects consumers with independent carriers, we always try to assist when issues arise.” They could care about you, your shipment, or the fraudulent way they and SGT Auto Transport do business. Sad because their delivery driver was great, caring, and a pleasure to deal with on the delivery day, even after all of the headaches, hassles, and fraud.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you're unsatisfied with your uShip experience. To provide some context, when booking there is a service fee paid directly to uShip. This is not a set fee and is calculated based on the commodity you are shipping. The service charge is clearly listed along with the official quote price and total amount due on both active quotes and at checkout.
The only time it’s acceptable for a service provider to raise the price post-match is when there are additional shipment details that come up after the bid is accepted. When this happens, the service provider may need to adjust the bid price accordingly. In situations like this, the best way uShip Member Support can assist is by opening communication with both parties so they can discuss a potential resolution.

Wife and I are artists here in Florida. My wife does 3D mixed media. Shipping large (30x60)+ size pieces that project 3" + can be very challenging... especially when using the usual suspects... You have no idea of they will lay flat and stack other packages on top... which will almost certainly destroy her work... unless we pack in a wooden crate, which would only cost the customer considerably more. We have used Uship several times now with EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE from end to end! And knowing exactly how the art is being handled really is most important! Will absolutely use again and again, and refer others!

I sell large furniture items on eBay and Etsy and ship cross country. I have used Uship now for the second time. It is a fraction of what other shipping companies charge. The process is really easy. You set the price you want to pay and drivers reach out with bids. Upon the drivers reaching out you are able to look at their personal reviews and decide if you want to accept the bid or not. Nothing needs to be done if you don't like the bid, you can simply ignore it. Once you accept the bid of your choice, you work out the details with the drivers personally! It's amazing! I still track shipments so my customers can track them but the drivers communicate with you personally. Communication is excellent. My last driver texted me with all of her updates along the way and even communicated with my customer along the way with her cellphone! So convenient.
I still insure items (for a very reasonable cost as with FedEx and UPS) however, there is simply not even close to the same likelihood of your shipments showing up damaged as with other standard companies because these guys/gals are personally accountable. Typically it's their own company. My furniture is hand-painted and restored and I would much rather have it get there safe than go through refunds and repairs and receive bad reviews myself!, etc..... Really appreciate this company a lot. This company keeps MY furniture prices down for my customers because of the savings.

This is the third time I've used uShip, and the second time I've used the specific movers whose bid I chose. It's a bit pricy, but the convenience is unmatched and the guys are just so incredibly helpful and careful. Releasing payment is simple and the booking process, though it can get a bit confusing with questions and canceled bids, is relatively easy to navigate. Can't recommend enough.

They took a long time for pickup but the delivery was well worth the wait. The price was fair and the delivery was good, but the long pickup incurred storage fees that I could have done without. Overall I was satisfied with the delivery and will continue to use them.

We needed to ship some family heirloom furniture items from Texas to NC. Went with uShip after a lot of research (be sure to do your homework within uShip as well). Our shipper provided a competitive price and a very attractive delivery schedule. We contracted on a Sunday, our pickup was on a Wednesday afternoon in Texas and was delivered in NC Thursday early evening. Outstanding. Part of it is luck, getting a quote from an independent transporter who happens to have other scheduled jobs close to the same route.

A close friend passed in early December and she had an antique cabinet that needed to be removed from her apartment by mid-month. Original plans fell through and I had to scramble last minute calling several overly priced moving companies who would deliver in 2-3weeks! Found UShip online and although apprehensive, I created an account just to see what would happen. Within two days, I received an offer from a mover. With a 4.8 star, I decided to proceed. In three days, I received the antique cabinet without a single scratch, crack, or dent. I am so grateful to UShip (words cannot express) for making this experience much less stressful and reasonably priced for an item so personal and sentimental.

I found a shipper through Uship to transport a newly built strip built surfski (kayak) from Portland to San Diego. This is a piece of floating art. The shipper had great references and many happy customers after 10 years of experience. We agreed on a price and I opted to pay USHIP the EXTRA fee for insurance just in case there was damage or theft of this newly constructed boat. I know things happen in the best of circumstances so insurance seems like a good idea, right? Apparently wrong if you are dealing with USHIP.
Unfortunately there was some damage and the shipper has proven to be a stand up guy and confirmed that the damage had occurred on his watch. Of course I am not happy about the damage but I did buy the insurance, filled out a Bill Of Lading upon dropping the item off at the shipper's location and took before photos. So, I am covered, right? READ ON. When the surfski arrived I spotted the obvious damage, took photos, etc. The shipper has signed off acknowledging the damage on the Bill Of Lading and took full responsibility for it. The damage happened on his watch. So, no problem, right? Wrong! Danny at USHIP is probably a busy man since he repeatedly requested the same items via form letters for me to support my claim as if he hadn’t taken the time to review them.
The photos are clear and it is irrefutable that there was no damage at the time I handed the item over to the driver. The photos taken upon delivery show the new damage, the Bill Of Lading signed buy the trucker supports this finding. Well, much to my dismay, USHIP claims the damage was there before shipping. USHIP obviously has not reviewed the supporting evidence and sent me a form letter telling they won’t pay the claim since the damage did not occur during shipping. Any reasonable person would be able to see the lack of damage shown on the before photo. This was a brand new item. So, don’t waste your money on USHIP insurance. I will appeal this decision and hope that they take a closer look at this case. Let’s hope it was an oversight and not a sleazy way to do business. They could take a lesson from the driver who admitted the damage, took responsibility and is willing to help me make the right.
UPDATE - I was told I could appeal their decision to not cover the damage. I went through the appeal process and was told I would have an answer within 72 hours. Well, it has been close to a month and it appears I am being ignored. I spoke to their Consumer Support line and was told I would have an answer by days end. That was a week ago. Clearly they have a policy to wear down the consumer in hopes that they won't have to pay a claim. I can honestly say I have no memory of dealing with a company with such sleazy tactics in many years. SKIP USHIP if you can. Buyer beware!

I had nothing but issues in trying to ship a motor using uShip. To be fair, most of the issues were with the freight company that bid through uship, but when things went sour and the delivery and pick up were messed up, and I was charged extra on top of the original already paid quote, uship’s customer service was not really interested in my complaints or making things right. It took a heated argument on the phone with a uship representative and getting hung up on to resolve the issues, that they did not want to take any responsibility for. In the end, the extra charges were refunded, but I will not be using uship ever again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone else.

I needed to save a couple $100 dollars more than I needed to have something shipped immediately. Uship came through. And I don't anywhere else I could have gone. USPS and UPS were both at least $300 more for a one way shipment that ended costing me just $225.

uShip is a very good service, but you arent dealing with uShip per se... you are dealing with mostly unknown shippers. BE AWARE of who you are dealing with and expect very good and clear communication. Most of the time I have had problems with shippers delivering late... even months late. Since you don't have anything much but a phone number or email, they can ghost you anytime they choose. How easy is it to deny a call or just throw a phone away and start over again.. leaving you with no property.. Just be sure you have communicated your expectations clearly and ask for very clear contact info, even a copy of an ID or DL. Once this person has your property, what power do you have to get them to deliver?
uShip I can assure you does very little to nothing when it comes to these issues. At best they can block the shipper from doing business (in that account) in the future.. so what? Anyway... best of luck,... I have used uship dozens of times and had no real issue with uShip.. I do wish they could control the vetting system better, and create a stronger connection from the client to the shipper so we have legitimate ways of managing the process.. because now you just have to stay lucky.. Lucky you got a good honest responsible shipper.

I’ve only had one bad shipper who didn’t pickup my furniture but UShip handled it like the pros they are. I’ve used them to ship items and have items delivered. Love them! In my opinion, they are the best shippers out there.

I needed to have furniture and boxes moved from California to Texas. I had contacted other shippers and wasn’t thrilled with a pick up, then store, then pick up, drive, then store until they could deliver. The average wait was 3 to 8 weeks depending upon the carrier to receive my belongings so I checked out uShip and within a few days connected with a shipper for $1200 to bring four pieces of furniture and six boxes. He was in contact with me the entire time Picked up the items Wednesday and delivered them Saturday. I would use your ship again without hesitation, and have already recommended them to others.

I've shipped personal cars previously and the UShip platform works well. Ultimately shipping is a per mile, logistical business. Have patience as it's not an exact science so the pickup and delivery is never exact. May be few days earlier or later than you expect. The hauler was super nice and the pickup/delivery was perfect using an open rig. Thanks again and I'll need a return quote in 6 months! :)

We put our shipment out for quote again and the company that we chose was wonderful to work with. This was done on a tight timeline. He kept in touch and picked up furniture on time. Wanted to buy a recliner in Yulee, Fl and I live in Kansas. Thought about driving to FL to pick up the chair. Scoured the Internet and found uShip. Didn't really know how it worked but got it figured out. Once I put in my information, I received "bids" from various companies. For $350, the shipper picked up the chair in FL at about 1:00pm on Friday and delivered it to me at my Kansas home on Saturday at 11:30pm. The shipper maintained contact and phoned my earlier in the evening to tell me that he was just entering southern MO and should arrive around 11:30. He was willing to wait until Sunday morning. I told him that I was retired and 11:30 was not too late for me. The chair had been covered with a heavy blanket and arrived without a scratch. I would use this service again in a minute!

uShip was a seamless means for me to not only ship my ATV, but also gave me the freedom to choose what quote I wanted to go with. I also like that shippers sent quotes to me and I could then evaluate the company who sent the quote and if they were the lowest quote. The company that had the quote I accepted was thorough on what they needed from me and was prompt in getting any necessary information that I needed back to me. Overall, the next time I need to ship a large item I will be using uShip to make my booking.

We sourced a shipper on uShip to bring two chaise lounges from NJ to FL. They were picked up on October 1, promised to be delivered by the end of October, and still have not arrived (it’s Dec 10). We were in contact with the shipping company, Sims Custom Carrier LLC numerous times over the period and heard a myriad of excuses about why the shipment was delayed. As of November 17 the shipping company stopped responding to us and disconnected the phone number we had been given. uShip did refund our fee, but has no answer about getting our chaise lounges back. Thank goodness we didn’t send something more valuable! uShip’s follow up was generic and unhelpful, and said that there is nothing they can do to get our chaise lounges back. It’s highly unlikely that we would ever use them again.

I needed to move from one storage space to another while being overseas. My things were in a small town (Binghampton/Vestal). For things that could fit in about half of a 5x10 space it would have cost me around $1000 since most companies have a minimum. I made my offer of $300 & I got a hit. I didn't expect they would do the packing and unpacking so I upped my offer to cover that. This was my 4th time using uship but I didn't know I could have gotten people to do my packing for me! All my experiences have been positive. They took photos for me and even mailed my keys to the address I asked them to.

The carrier, Eric **, lied about having insurance coverage on my shipment. He did so on the Uship website. And even after Uship learned that, they continue to give this guy business. They call that being neutral. But of course that is not being neutral, that is accommodating deception. He did $7500 in damage, and then admitted to Uship that he did not have insurance and would not compensate me.

I bought some larger items from an auction and needed them delivered to my home. They recommended UShip. I had never used or heard of them. Very easy set up and had responses within hours for prospective drivers. Had a wonderful diver with a 5 star review. He kept me updated the whole way till delivery. That’s when you release your payment to the driver! Wonder service!

I’ve used UShip a number of times. My biggest problem is that I keep forgetting how easy it is for big items. Easier than getting a trailer, round trip travel, loading and unloading. Shipped motorcycles, flooring, boat lift, etc. Read the reviews! Pay a little more. I’m all for helping someone start out but know what you’re getting yourself into.

There are other sites similar to Uship. With my experiences with Uship though? They're always willing and able to help. Bonus! The representatives I've always talked to SPEAK ENGLISH!! They are very helpful, patient and get results. Sure, there are bad experiences, but you may need to know both sides before passing judgment. I've Uship 3 times now. The first time was to list a trailer I needed to get moved to WY. ($14,000.00) The 2nd time was to deliver to me a Can-Am Spyder ($7500.00) and the 3rd time was to deliver a large concession window ($2,300.00). Each time the trek would have been a minimum of 2000 miles round trip. Each time that I used Uship, I had absolutely the best experience I could've expected.
All three were delivered by different drivers/companies. Each driver was in contact with me all the way, the inspections were detailed, and quite often during the transporting of my items. To some, 14,000 dollars isn't much, but to me? That's a lot! Longer review shorter? It would take a LOT for me to quit using Uship. They have the most options, a very wide network of companies to make the shortest to the longest haul a success!

I bought exercise equipment on eBay and used Uship to deliver it to Michigan. It was picked up ok and the directions were confusing and I accidentally paid for the delivery before I received it. It specified the delivery to the upper peninsula of Michigan. The driver was from Grand Rapids area. He brought it to his home town but refused to bring it to the destination that he agreed to which was about another 350 miles. I was able to find a friend to bring it to me but this is unacceptable for a delivery company.

First time shipping my car using UShip and TempusLogix. The experience is horrible. Driver from TempusLogix doesn’t speak English to begin with, car was not picked up according to schedule and delayed in delivery. Driver received my car with no damage except minor dents at front bumper. Since I’ve been traveling frequently and relocating, TempusLogix delivered my car without letting me know that they damage my rear bumper without letting me and my friend know. I just noticed the dents when I take the car to the car wash. I filed a claim/complaint but Uship said it past 7 days and my claim has been denied. Long story short, I will never recommend this company to anyone. Poor service experience.

I can not stress enough that this is where the scammers are. Paid over $700 after fees for boxes and couch to be picked up. I got rid of the couch but had more boxes and the mover agreed, as the space for the small boxes would be much less than the couch. I should have known when he arrived to the wrong address, then said he was going to keep my payment because I wasn’t there and he left. He took a picture of the wrong door, and when I pointed that out to him, which took a while of him yelling at me over text and not answering my calls, he arrived at the correct one. He picked up my belongings, and once his driver left, he began harassing me and my friend, for more money in order to deliver my stuff.
He was trying to hold my stuff hostage for more money, until I got uShip involved to require updates on the location of my stuff. But once he got a hold of my belongings he harassed me every day to give him and additional $300. My stuff was also suppose to be in a covered truck but it was on a trailer with a tarp. I have yet to inspect it, as I’ve been out of town for work, but the boxes look crushed and I’m sure my stuff is all broken. I should have thrown everything away instead of use uShip. I’ll be filing a claim with my credit card, as well as a complaint against the BBB to report David ** for his unprofessional and false ad of services. Do not use this site, do not use that carrier. I don't understand the wide array of bad reviews. I have used uShip twice, different carriers, and each time, I had a fantastic result. I guess it just depends on the carrier you choose. This last time, I moved plants from MA to NC. RoyalShippingNC was absolutely fantastic, great communication, fair price, timely pickup and delivery and most importantly, things got done when they were supposed to. I couldn't be happier. I'm sorry for those who've had a bad experience, but mine have been great and I totally recommend uShip as a connection service.

Both times I have used this company, it has been an awful, costly experience. I should never have given them a second chance after the first shipment was damaged, and UShip tried to say I only insured it for half value until I sent them a copy of the policy FROM THEIR OWN SITE! The second time, HALF the shipment was lost in transit and I have been fighting for 3 months to get reimbursed. What they sell as insurance on their site isn't actually insurance at all, THEY decide what they want to pay for it. No refund for the shipping that wasn't completed, and absurd "processing fees" that are 15% of the claim. Next time, I'll know better and deal directly with the shipper.

My son purchased an arcade machine on Facebook Marketplace in Lufkin, TX, but he lives in Austin. We didn't want to drive the 8 hour round trip to pick the thing up, so we listed it on U-ship. The driver was a real friendly guy and texted us updates the day he was picking up and dropping off. The arcade machine got to us in perfect condition, and all in all it was a great way to get it shipped to our house. Do not use uShip. They don’t get their brokers. I shipped a crate using u-ship for $400 and 6 months later got a bill from FedEx for over $5,000 saying they never got paid for the shipment. U-ship refused to help and it looks like the broker is out of business now.

I was bidding on helping ship people's stuff across the US in my U-Haul truck coming back from New York to Utah. uShip suspended my account for no reason out of the blue. I had perfect ratings on their site. I asked several times what the problem was. First they told me I could not do interstate transport. After I told them that there is no law against me transporting stuff across the country without a business license, they made up more excuses. They then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't use a rental uhaul truck because it was against their policy after I told them I was bringing a uhaul truck back empty to Utah and looking to cover my gas and rent costs coming back to utah. This was a lie from them as well as nowhere in their policy does it say this.
After calling them several times, one of their customer service people admitted to me that a big commercial customer of theirs complained because I bid on 2 jobs that they really wanted, so uship put my account on hold. And he admitted this happens often to small shippers like myself. The owners of this site are corrupt as can be. Protecting their commercial customers by censoring the small guys is just wrong. I was just trying to help people get their stuff moved cheaper than these commercial rapists.

Your account is held because you were interacting with an interstate household move shipment that requires you to have an active Motor Carrier Number. Upon signing up with uShip, you agree to the terms of the uShip User Agreement which states you’ll only offer quotes on items that you have the proper authority, licensing, and permits to haul. Specific commodities, namely vehicles, heavy equipment, and household moves, always require a DOT or MC number. To learn more about operating authority and insurance, please check out the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration - https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov.
Service providers can use rental trucks on uShip. That being said, they are not allowed to use rental trucks for household moves because customers' goods are often not covered by insurance in the rental agreements.
The Trust & Safety team emailed you on 7/14 informing you of your account hold. I advise you to read over the email and respond in order to release your account.

We moved from WA to MI, we signed up for Uship. We paid the deposit and was contacted by the shipping company. They said they take 2k deposit. Everything was great until the day they were scheduled to show up. Crickets... I got ahold of the guy and he said he had mechanical issues and made another date. We never heard from him again. Uship only refunded the portion they keep, we were out the rest.

Request for payment via a non-bank, instant cash service, such as MoneyGram or Western Union, is a violation of uShip policy and typically an indicator of fraud. If your service provider requests this type of payment, please contact Member Support.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They facilitate criminals to steal your belongings and because they facilitate it for you the thieves have permission making it a civil crime. This means you can not file police reports or have the criminals arrested. You have to pursue them in court. I used uShip to transport a vehicle and they picked it up and began to ransom me to get my property back. My vehicle is now still missing and uship provides you with zero help! They are accessories to the crimes! The thieves know it too as I said this is theft and the thief replied it’s civil issue. This company needs to be held accountable.

There is an online Company called “Uship.” On their website, it says "Ship With Confidence Guarantee." What they do, is they list thousands of third party providers (shipping companies), who will offer bids on the items that Consumers need shipped, from Antiques, to cars, to household items, long or short distances. It says it will automatically compensate you for up to $500 in the case of damage or loss. It also advertises "all risk protection," and "faster reimbursements."
I offered a listing of 2 Antique Church Windows that I purchased online, that were located in Athens, TN. I accepted bids through Uship for a shipper to carry them to me in Trinity, NC. I paid $525 for the windows and I have a receipt. I purchased $50 worth of insurance on Uship, to cover my $500 item that I listed to ship. Apparently Uship claims to insure items up to $500 anyway, so was my $50 of insurance I purchased to help me regain an additional $500 if lost, stolen or damaged? If not, why was I not informed the $50 was not necessary? That was very unclear. I have shipped other items before using Uship, and luckily had no problems. I accepted a bid from a Stevia ** for $290 to bring my church windows from Athens, TN to me in NC. I was charged a $27.90 service fee by Uship, and $50 for the Insurance, making my total bill $367.90
The way it works, is the consumer receiving the shipment should only release the payment once the items are delivered. The Shipper very quickly began to show signs of negligence and dishonesty. I gave her to contact name & number of where to pick up the windows. She rescheduled approximately 4 times, and I decided I was going to cancel the shipper and try a different one. Before I could get to the computer to cancel, the shipper picked up the items, and while they were in her possession, she asked me to release the payment before they were delivered. She said she didn't have gas money to deliver the windows. This was very alarming. I refused to release the payment.
She wound somehow in Nashville, TN with my windows, and said she could not deliver them after all. Luckily I had a friend in Nashville, who I was able to persuade her to drop them off with. My windows are now 3 hours farther away from me than they were before, and in my friend's way, as they are being kept in his garage and are very fragile. I have placed another listing for the window delivery on the site, not knowing any other way to get them here. It will certainly cost more than the $290 I agreed to pay for delivery now that they are 3 hours father away.
The bids I am seeing online now to bring my window from Nashville, TN to Trinity, NC are almost $800! Uship refunded me $317.90, but they won't refund me the difference I will have to pay to get them here now, which is looking like it will be around $500. They won't pay me any of the $500 they claim I paid to insure this shipment, or any of the $500 they claim to automatically offer with every shipment. Instead they gave me a “credit” of $50 to use their site again. I have reached out to Uship to inquire as to whether the $50 credit would include another insurance policy on another shipment, or if I would have to pay an additional $50 to insure the next shipment, when it already says they guarantee every shipment up to $500 automatically. They said the $50 credit is only for their “service fee,” so if I have to ship using them again, I now have to pay them an additional $50 which I will never see again.
I would not have purchased the windows if I had known this could even happen. I would not have used Uship, had I known they would not refund me the entire amount, or even for the difference it will now cost. Their practices are deceptive, and the average consumer cannot know that they are deceptive. Their policies are fraudulent. Uship should not offer words on their site like “We help you ship with confidence,” and words like “All Risk Protection.” All risk should be all risk. Even when a shipper goes awol for two days, and delivers an item farther away than they were to begin with, leaving me to find another way to get my shipment to me. Instead of faster reimbursements as they offer, I was given none. Only a credit, so essentially I paid a Company $50 to make my delivery harder to get, and I will lose more money as it will cost more to get them delivered now.

When booking, there is a service charge paid directly to uShip. This is not a set fee, and is calculated based on the commodity you are shipping. The service charge is listed along with the official bid price and total amount due on both active bids and at checkout.
While there is a default amount in the uShip Protection Plan, it has to be accepted before a transaction can move forward. There is also a pop-up that details the terms of service. DO NOT USE Uship.com for anything! They do not investigate carriers before they go on the site--you could be hiring a thief, a scammer or worse! I used Uship.com and my property was stolen by the carrier and held for ransom. They hid my shipment 2 months ago and I still have not been able to recover it. Turns out they've done this before...USHIP.COM has been very UNHELPFUL and still has my money! USHIP has not paid the Carrier because they didn't deliver--but won't return my money until the carrier contacts them and says they can release it! Thousands of dollars--what a racket!!
I even bought extra insurance and THAT was worthless too! Their insurance company had no interest in helping get my shipment back and was going to give be 25% of what it was worth. It's impossible to talk with anyone with any authority and Uship wouldn't give me any information. They only give information to "lawyers and police". I highly discourage anyone from using USHIP.com EVER. They are pathetic worthless losers who are only interested in their bottom line.

This is a great place to have your cargo stolen, had a nice Kubota ZD1211 stolen by these clowns. They don't verify the truckers they let on the board, unlicensed, uninsured, fresh out of jail?? No problem. Come ship with us, get it loaded and disappear. Talked to an old neighbor who had the same problem.

The moving company through uShip was to deliver 15 items. Three of them were broken. The shipper delivered these three broken items 3 weeks after the delivery of the 12 unbroken items to a granite countertop company (random, right?) with the instructions that these three items be prepared and delivered to me by the granite company. Then the shipper skipped town not completing paperwork or documentation. Uship company is designed in a way that they completely abdicate responsibility for failings. uShip points fingers either at their insurance company or at the Independent shipper. I am very dissatisfied.

One of Uship's providers tried to scam me on a Friday afternoon. Customer support was NO help. On weekends, you can only leave an email which they don't answer! Read the fine print! They aren't liable. They only connect shippers and service providers. You are supposed to do your due diligence. When you finally do get someone on the phone, they "take notes" and say they will escalate your issue to the next level. Then you get some generic email (NOT a phone call) and it is obvious that they have no clue what your complaint was about. I reported this guy for extortion because he picked up my items and refused to deliver them until I paid him AGAIN outside of Uship. I reported this by phone in detail more than once and the email response I got was "Please confirm that your item was NOT picked up so we can process a cancellation". Seriously??? Beware! When it's good, it's good. When it's bad, you're screwed.

I had an extremely bad experience with uShip and their Provider "L&M Trusted Transport". I had booked "L&M Trusted Transport" via uShip to move a Highboy Dresser from Cumming, GA to Ashburn, VA. This was an Estate Sale purchase. L&M Transport confirmed to pick up my furniture on 8/14/2021 Saturday Morning 9:30AM from Cumming, GA. The Service Provider names were Mary ** and Lando **. They did a complete no show and were not reachable on phone or text. They did not return my numerous calls or text messages and left me completely in the dark. I had to waste whole of Saturday to find alternate options to pick up my furniture and transport. I wasted time & money, and this caused a lot of heartburn. "L&M Trusted Transport" is completely untrustworthy and fraud provider. They don't deserve your time or business.
As for uShip, they don't care about their customers at all. 1) They don't have Customer Service coverage during weekends. Although lot of their moving business is conducted over the weekend. I called uShip, but there was no one in their Customer Service to resolve my issue. 2) Their website asked to lodge an email complaint, uShip has not got back to me or taken any actions to resolve my case in 2 days. Please do not trust uShip or their provider "L&M Trusted Transport" with your business. They are not worthy of your trust or business.

The only thing that bugged out of this experience was that my money was taken immediately besides when my item was dropped off to me. But it is what it is. I needed to ship a newly purchased vintage motorcycle from NC to Oklahoma. I placed an ad on Uship and within a day had a very reasonable quote that fit my time frame. The motorcycle was picked up in a couple of days and delivered in a timely manner. Communication with the shipper was excellent and the motorcycle was well protected and arrived in perfect condition.

Used uShip and the carrier accepted. After a few days passed no contact. On 4th day called him and was told he was coming on Monday. Upon pickup the driver said the BOL was not necessary and he handled it electronically. He said the same on delivery. This prevented him from being responsible for damages. USHIP must allow this behavior, and the illegitimate delivery drivers use it to make themselves look good. Very poor business. Now the insurance I bought thru USHIP denies claims...

Higher charges than industry standards to both the person shipping and the person delivering. When an issue arrives uShip provides poor service on trying to resolve an issue but still takes their portion. Worst experience with a company I have had. If you can find an alternate source, I would not use this company.

I've used Uship several times now and have been extremely satisfied with them, and their customer service. My only advice would be to take extra CARGO INSURANCE before you checkout, because you cannot add it later if you change your mind. Not that I needed to use it but it gave me more peace of mind. Overall the shipment was successful and I would use again as well as suggest others to use. The interface is rigid in the attempt to keep shippers from getting to close to the carriers initially. This caused a delay of almost a day but it worked out. I would also suggest more oversight of the package in transit. You literally give to a stranger with feedback then wait for them to call with the request to drop off.
