    Rude people. The lady that answers the phone and talks to you is a representative of your company. She needs to learn how to have professional phone conversations. She is very rude. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    My true score for them is less than zero!!!! Last year, my car has some major repairs needed. The cost was right at 10k. My car was in the shop for 3 weeks waiting for Ox Car Care. When they finally approved the repairs, they only covered $1,400 and pretty much told me to kick rocks. So I had to pay out-of-pocket. This year my water pump needed replacing. The repair shop charged $954. I paid it then submitted for reimbursement from Ox Car Care because I couldn't go 3 weeks without my car again. Ox Care Care only agreed to give me $638 back.

    This was back in October 2025 and I still have not gotten the check. I have called 3 times and get a update and can not get one. I ask to speak to a manager and I'm told there's no management on site. What kind of company is this? Please don't waste your money or time. It's a rip off. One other thing, they advertise fee oil changes. Well my oil change is $120 and they only reimburse me $60 stating that's all they will pay for a oil change and it's because of the type of car I drive. Well, you knew what it was when I signed up.

    I heard about this company, via their advertising. I called, add 3 cars to my policy. Due to unexpected financial problems. I had to cancel my policies. I called, they told me to email 3 canceled policies for cancellation. I called back regarding turn around for refund and was told 30 to 45 business days. This in September. Received 1 payment in Oct. Called back to be told now it 30 to 50 business days. Now it's December 19th and they tell me it nonrefundable due to it a month to month case. This was never explained in writing or verbal from the beginning. Just beware

    One piss poor company. They do not pay their claims. They have all kinds of excuses to put you off, but keep taking the money each month. Could not even get reimbursed for an oil change. Avoid at all cost. They are a lying company.

    If there was lower that 1 star, that is what OxCarCare deserve. In my opinion, they are a huge scam and I don't recommend at all. I have be paying in on this coverage for years, I have be denied twice. I have maintenance for life on my truck and I take great care of it. After 218,000 miles My truck need a major repair. I did everything right maintaining my truck, but their claim department said my oil drank plug needed to be replaced. My mechanic said bring it in next oil change and we will replace it, It didn't leak, just was wet on pan, this is reason the claim department denied my claim. The mechanics couldn't believe it wasn't approved, such a scam The customer service is difficult to reach; I was forward to several numbers just be put on hold for 45 to a hour. I wish I could be a refund on my monthly payment. Please stay away for this company.

    Been with them for 3/4 months, contacted customer service numerous times, hang ups and some more. Requested a copy of the agreement numerous times, they said they would email, as of 12/04/3025, I have no policy numbers or anything to even show I have a warranty. The overall rating is 6.6 FAIR

    All seem great until the next day I canceled. They claimed it would be easy. I canceled on 11/28/25. Never got cancellation email. I sent the required email they requested which seem like unnecessary extra work for the customer. Why can't they just cancel over the phone. Ok, so after sending the email they say I will get a confirmation email in 15 minutes or so. I call back, never got that confirmation. I called 5 times, you wait on hold forever even though the hold time say 15 seconds, if about 50 minutes not 15 seconds. I called and waited over an hour. Hung up called again, waited again about 25 minutes.

    Finally this guy answers, checks with the cancellation dept to ask about my letter, comes back and say the say words I've heard before. Check my email in 15 minutes. I did that already days ago. I asked for a supervisor and after explaing to him how many times I've called and held. Instead of giving me the supervisor like he said, he just throws me back in the holding cue all over again. I Hung up. Poor. Customer Service.

    Won't cover repair. Cause I do my own oil changes so I can show maintenance logs. They took months to decide. Playing get my money games. I am left in cold without money and no vehicle..they are worse than Ford the maker.

    Ox Car Care called me in August 2025 and informed me that my towing reimbursement was approved and I would be refunding $100.00. After I watched my mailbox daily for the next two weeks, I started calling every other day, told it was pending to be mailed out. It was still pending the last week of October, so I told them I wanted to cancel my policy because there no way it would take over two months to print a check, put a stamp to mail it to me and they told me cancelling my policy would forfeit my refund. I still cancelled the policy November 1st. They have been calling me everyday since to make the $109 monthly payment. It is November 20th, I am tired of them calling and I really need the money I went on CHATGPT. I not only found out they are required to reimburse me but CHATGPT composed me a rebuttal and complaint to use as needed.

    Very bad. I am trying to cancel my subscription but they are playing games with me. I called them, He told me I would get my refund of $130.00 but never did. Stay away from Oxcare they are not on the Up and Up. Might call my Attorney and sue them.

    Ox car care is nothing more than a supplement to your car repairs. It is not a warranty. My understanding of a warranty is that if you need repairs, the warranty covers it and that’s not what car care is doing for me. My car is currently in the shop, needing a rack and pinion steering assembly and ox car care are not covering the repairs. According to the representative that I spoke with it’s because I took the car to a dealership. Please be mindful of this company for they are not what they advertise to be.

    I have been waiting approximately 45 days for my approval to get my vehicle fixed. They want to blame it on shortage of adjusters, but that isn't my problem. I have had to rent vehicles, borrow vehicles and Uber to get around. I have probably put more out on getting transportation to get around. Looking forward to what excuses they come up with this time.

    If I could give them a -10 stars I would. They are absolute scam artist and they do not hold up their end of the deal whatsoever. They take your money and don’t do anything for you. Please stay to get a refund and drag it out for months then all of a sudden you don’t qualify.

    This is the worst warranty company ever. They never answer the claims department phone. It will ring for 15 mins and then you are asked to leave a message but they won't return your call. The tactic is to make you so frustrated that you quit trying to call them. Do not buy this crap warranty.

    Oxcarcare is nothing but a scam, they jusy take your money and don't honor thier contract, my car had a mechanical breakdown that was clearly covered by my contract and my car sat for over there weeks, the mechanic and I gave them everything they needed to for the ajusters to approve the work to be done but they never did, I couldn't even get a rental car which was in the contract also, they will keep you on hold for 30 mon at a time then keep transferring you to wrong departments, and when you get upset you're the problem. Go figure! I finally paid out of pocket to get my car fixed and had to go threw hoops to get my contract canceled, BUYER BE AWARE, STAY WOKE, TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW, FRIENDS, FAMILY, THEY'RE JUST A BIG INSURANCE COMPANY TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS!!

    Predator company that feeds on the elderly. They tried to scam my 80 year old mom who has dementia. I called to cancel and explained her mental condition and that I was her power of attorney and took care of her finances. I was told that the cancellation process was started and that I would receive a confirmation call. The only calls I received were from OxCar saying that they had not received payment. I was told to write a letter and email it to cancellations@oxcarcare.com.

    The cancellation guy said that I could call back after a few minutes and verify that it had been received and cancelled. I called back and was placed on terminal hold. While sitting on hold, I checked mom's bank account and found that OxCar had attempted to withdraw payments from her account but were unsuccessful because I had already blocked them. I never was able to make contact again but I have received several calls that hang up when I answer instead of her. I also forwarded her home phone to my cell so they will keep get me instead of her

    This company representative has lied more than one time. I ask to cancel. Representative stated what I need to do. I follow their instructions. I even played their game they stated that I could get my money back. Dealing with another company called Exclusive National Auto Club who suppose to be affiliated with Ox Auto Care. What happened? Needless to say still did not get money back. In fact this company stated that it takes 30 days for the process to take place. I called Exclusive National Auto Club representative stated that I needed to wait 45 days to get my money back. After playing their game I decided that this company is scam. They're telling people what they can do when they're not doing absolutely nothing but taken people's money. Shame on these companies. A risk that I took to think that there's good companies out there.

    It's now day 13, my customer is waiting for approval for a repair which they say is 15-30 days. I've never had to wait this long to get an approval or no approval from a warranty company. Buyer beware if you're thinking of buying from Ox, your car will be broken down, and you'll be left waiting.

    I purchased the policy around June 2024 and made monthly payments. However, I later discovered that I already had an existing extended warranty with another company. On the same day my most recent payment was taken, I contacted Ox Car Care to cancel my policy. I was instructed to send a cancellation letter to the Maintenance Department, which I submitted right away.

    Despite following all instructions, making multiple follow-up calls, and speaking with both representatives and a manager, my refund was never processed. I was later told to provide proof of mileage, which I submitted to the Claims Department. Even after resending the same documents several times, I have still not received a refund or any confirmation that my cancellation was completed. During one of my calls, I spoke with a team lead who was dismissive and unprofessional, further adding to my frustration. It has now been several months, and Ox Car Care continues to withhold my refund without justification.

    Ox care has no consideration about their clients. The reason I made this statement is because they can not give you a clear answer on why they can't give the service that they promise and you are paying for. My mechanic submitted claim almost 4 weeks and still haven't heard anything. I call and they say still under evaluation with me still being without transportation. To me that's a breach of their service contract that they promise.

    I had some bad wiring in my truck. I took it to the dealer. To have it fixed. Afterwards Ox Car Care stated they do not pay for wiring problems. How convenient. Maybe this is why they only have a one star out of five review.

    We had put in a couple claims and called Ox care. Said would cover then the dealership calls and says it is not covered. Put in 2 claims on towing. Did get 1 back. Called on our other one and they said that there is no information on the claim. Been paying for 4 months and they did nothing but take our money. Stopped now, done with them.

    DO NOT USE OX CAR CARE. MY CAR HAS BEEN AT THE DEALER FOR 2 MONTHS WAITING FOR APPROVAL FROM OX FOR BASIC REPAIR. It is a complete scam!! I call every couple of days and there is absolutely no help from customer service. It’s a basic radiator fixed that is clearly covered by their plan and every week I call they tell me it’s pending final approval… This is literally been happening for two months straight. I’m lucky enough to have a car to borrow, but when that runs out, I’m going to end up having to pay for the repair myself anyway. Who can live without a car for two months? Total scam.

    I waited 2 1/2 months and my mechanic still hasn’t got an approval. And when I call customer service the last time, customer service got smart with me. I had to pay out of pocket for a second diagnostic $139, because I refused to pay $300 to the foreign mechanic, who had plan on fixing my car. I will be canceling my plan, because I am still paying out of my pocket for car service. So what’s the point of having Ox.

    I signed up for Ox Car Care back in October of 24 and now had to use it. I took my vehicle in to dealership for repairs and Ox Car Care idiots delayed giving approval for almost a month of my vehicle sitting in dealership and having to pay $35.00 per day storage after vehicle was checked. Plus, I had to rent a vehicle all this time at my expense, as well as pay storage and diagnostic check out, which they don't cover. Then, after playing with themselves for almost a month, they decided to give approval on some work and only covering a percentage of labor and parts and with me having to pay out almost $2500.

    Plus I need a head gasket which they claim is not covered telling me I am over mileage so after being completely screwed for 30 days without my vehicle and having to pay car rental plus storage out of my pocket and now having to pay for basically my own repair to get my vehicle back to working condition and spending over $4500 after 30 plus days and still not fixed and being completely screwed by Ox Car Care I would definitely not recommend these scammers to anyone unless you want to totally be screwed. Ox is the worst and lies to you and give you attitude when you inquire. Ox is the worst. Stay far away from them!!!

    This company is predatory and will not honor a repair. Their marketing practices are to bait you in with offers that won’t be met. My story started with needing a repair and trying to do what is required. We are a one car family. I took my car in to a certified establishment for a diagnostic check. My car is not incapacitated. I got a rental and knowing my surgery was my concern. With that I got the estimate and never got full approval. Any insurance I've purchased across the board require you get an estimate and approval before anything can be paid for. Understood for all insurance companies Ox Car have somewhere in their policy.

    Read all these reviews this is the one thing they make money from. If you get a diagnostic done you must leave your car at the repair shop or you breach your contract even if it's not approved. That's how they have trained all customer service agents to address your repair needs. Their practices are stacked in their favor to get your money and leave you needing repairs they won’t pay for. It's a demonic convoluted way to trap you into receiving nothing. Customer service leaves you on the phone then drops your call and this merry go round continues. This is not a company I would not recommend to anyone.‼️

    I would give zero stars if I could. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with any company. My vehicle has been sitting at the dealership since May 27, 2025 waiting for Ox Car Care to do their part. It is now August 26, 2025 — nearly three months later — and nothing has been resolved. The dealership tells me they can’t move forward because Ox Car Care claims only one person in finance can release payment. Meanwhile, I am left without my car, without reliable transportation, and still being asked to make monthly payments to Ox Car Care for a service they are clearly not providing. This is unacceptable, disgraceful, and shows a complete lack of care for customers. Ox Car Care is quick to take money but will not step up when it is time to fulfill their obligation. No one should have to go through this nightmare. I strongly warn others: do not waste your money with Ox Car Care.

    My vehicle has been in the shop for 17 days awaiting approval for covered repairs. Today I was told it may be another 5-7 days before a decision is made. All the requested paperwork that was required was submitted in a timely manner. This process should not take almost a month. Very little regard for the customer’s inconvenience.
