All of them - Rob, Josie and especially Alex helped me find the right part for my vehicle. It took a while, but they remained positive and kept at it until we found it! I wish I had this kind of service everywhere I went!

My 77-year-old mother went into the Orangeburg OReillys to purchase a lawn mower battery. She asked the cashier to get the battery from the floorboard of her car for her. She told her that it was too heavy for her to pick up. The cashier refused. My mother went to pick it up. She cut her hand on the edge of the battery case and was profusely bleeding. She also hurt her back. My mother was so upset. I had to go and get her as well as retrieve the battery. I refuse to do business with this company. There were 10 employees in the building when I went in the store. (A few were dismantling a counter.) There is no excuse for laziness and lack of consideration for the elderly. This is disrespectful and doesn’t reflect well on the company.

I got my Hyundai Azera back on Monday afternoon. Did a Quick Look at the repairs, look good. Paint on the other hand on the bumper does not match the rest of the car. Seems darker and not as glistening as the rest of the car. Had a chance to take a good look at what was done the next day and was not pleased at all! First issue was the door pillars, they were covered in something and were scuffed up. I buffed them and used some fine polish on them and it didn’t bring them back to the scratch-less shiny condition when taken to O’Rielly body shop. They were shinny black when I took it in for the repairs now they are dull and I couldn’t get whatever they used on the car off. Buying a new set of covers to cover them up. The dealership should cover this cost! The Windows had the same stuff on them as well. I managed to get them all cleaned up.
The Next issue was the white dust in the engine compartment and inside the car. It may have been from sanding or paint. I got it all cleaned up for the most part. The Next issue was the hood struts don’t hold the hood open. I almost got knocked in the head, as it came down quickly. I’m sure, they knew they were bad. They should have told me about this. I’m having them replaced. As for my deductible, they only had me pay $25 and the rest was my reimbursement for the rental that I had paid, as my insurance only paid for so many days. As for the timeliness of the repairs, I kept getting told by the shop foreman, that it should be done within a week, which turned out to be close to two months.
I had to call him for updates for the most part. It was the same excuse week after week. My insurance agent would contact them and get me updates as well and it was the same information about the progress. Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair facility. I will be contacting the general manager about it. They asked me to give them a topnotch rating. On a scale of 1 to 10, this a 2 at best. I need to mention that when the car was transported to them, they couldn’t locate it, as it turned out to be in an overflow yard. This happened twice, once in Green Valley and again in Tucson. A four day delay occurred. The real issue for me now is the mis-matched paint. Not shaper camper at all!!!

Unfortunately, I have lost my faith in O'Reilly Auto Parts. I placed an order online about 8 days ago, and it was guaranteed to be delivered by August 30th. I received half of my order. When I called in and spoke with customer support, they said that my order had been delivered, and they would open a claim. This wouldn't be a big deal if I wasn't moving out of state soon, and had an appointment to get my brakes done before I moved. The missing items were Brembo brake rotors, and a caliper guide pin boot kit. Now, I had to put out an additional $300 that I couldn't afford to spend, due to half of my order missing. Yes, I may get refunded for the parts in 10 business days, but having to go through the hassle and scramble to find new parts and the funds for said parts has left a really bitter taste toward the company.

Just go somewhere else, the locations everywhere have no customer service, they provide the wrong information and when you try to get help or inform them over the phone through customer service they're just as bad, this whole company is trash. Went to get low beam lights, employee was basically laying over the counter watching TV on his phone and acted like I was a bother just walking in and then didn't even do his job correctly. Gave me the wrong part. So I'm down 60 dollars BECAUSE of course I had to open the package to put the lights in my car only to find out it's the wrong part.
Tried to exchange it at a different location because I was traveling and pay the difference because the lights I needed were more expensive but they said 1. It had to be from the original store and 2. It's opened so I can't exchange it. Then the second employee was trying to do back alley deals. Terrell from the Crawford rd phenix city al location was wanting me to pay cash for it at a lesser amount without a receipt! What does that tell you, he was going to give the light to me and pocket the cash. I don't know what type of people they hire but it's obviously not trustworthy ones.

8/24/2024 - Called the Main St (Cabot, AR) store today from across the highway at the Chic Fil A restaurant where the batteries of myself and another person had died at the same time. I asked them if they could come over and jump our pickups. They said they would see if they could. Twenty minutes later, I ran across the highway (bad knee and all) and asked about the call. There were no less than four guys in view standing around doing nothing, and they all looked at one another like they had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, one of the guys acknowledged they took the call and told me they 'technically' couldn't come over and jump our vehicles. So, instead of calling me back, they sat there and did nothing nothing while my daughter and I sat in the heat for twenty minutes. I and the other fellow took our business next door to Autozone, and I probably will keep it there... because they were helpful.

Like many of us I bounce between O'Reilly's and Autozone often. This was a small request however after this I believe I will stick to Autozone. I went in to get a brake part. Their computer said they had. 3 employees and a manager each had to take a turn at looking in the exact same spot as the person before them. Not sure if that dedication or waste of employee time however I don't pay there wages. So I asked if I could get the one that was 3 dollars more since their computer had said they had it, as well as online. Which was why I came to a place so far from my home to get the part I wanted.
The young lady helping me stated she didn't see why not since it was only 3 dollars and they didn't have what their computer said they did have. I figured based on the 20 they all took to look for it that would be great. So she asks and returns with, my manager says no. Huh? I know it was only 3 dollars but damn did that get to me. I don't do reviews but this 3 dollar denial has me very upset. Now even if it's 50 dollars more to go any but O'Reilly's I will

It took me over an hour to find what I needed at the store near me. So for wasting my time if I could give you a rating below a one star it would be a negative two star.

The short, pudgy front desk guy wearing a hat at the Grand Forks ND store on South Washington Street should be fired. On his phone, didn't offer to ask what I was looking for. When I did asked him a question he looked annoyed I'd bothered him. He was annoyed when I asked him to show me where the OBD2 Scanners were located. He showed me a store sign that showed all the models of scanners and then left. I saw no sign of the actual scanners on the shelf. I came close to flipping him the bird for his terrible customer service but thought better of it and left the store. Treat your customers like crap and you lose my business. Ultimately, it's a poor reflection of the store manager. It's not rocket since, managers: Treat your customers with respect or you will lose customers. Consider me done with this store.

Picked up front brake pads on 5/26/24. Finally was able to get car up, tired off and find out I was given the wrong size brakes by Freddie at the 3400 W Lincoln store. Guess what, Freddie was there today, when I had to leave my garage open as the car was on stands half in and out of the garage with tires off. All Freddy could say was, "Well I charged you right, but grabbed the wrong box." Thanks Freddie. I asked if they give any kind of a discount like 5 or 10 % off for this inconvenience and their mistake. He said no. Once again, Thanks Freddy. Maybe he should verify the item he picks matches the item on the screen before he hands it out as he did when I showed up for the correct item, that would be a nice thing that Freddy could easily do at first purchase, not at return. Any comments back are welcome at **.

I had a terrible experience at O'Reilly Auto Parts at 15303 SE 37th St, Bellevue, WA 98006 that I feel compelled to share. I went in to purchase a new battery for my car and was "helped" by two knuckleheads who assured me they were giving me the correct battery. Unfortunately, their incompetence led to a disaster. Not only did they sell me the wrong battery, but installing it caused significant damage to my vehicle, amounting to $1200 in repair costs. The car essentially blew every fuse when It was installed, leaving me facing an enormous repair bill. When I returned to the store to explain the situation, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive.
The company refused to take responsibility for their mistake, leaving me to cover all the expenses out of pocket. I am extremely disappointed with the service at O'Reilly's as well as the LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND ABSENT COMMUNICATION EFFICIENCY FROM THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR, Ulises **. Due to the lack of accountability from the staff I will never shop here again and urge others to be cautious when dealing with this store. If you value your vehicle and your wallet, go somewhere else!

I purchased a part for my car that has a lifetime warranty. The part went bad and while at O’Reilly, they suggested I replace it with a different manufacturer part, so I did. I brought back the old part for a refund, they agreed and tried to refund it to my debit card. My debit card was fraudulently used after the original purchase and the bank issued a new card, so refunding to my debit card wouldn’t work. I asked if they could just give me the cash since there was no issue with refunding it to my debit card (which is different now) but couldn’t be done due to have a new card, I was told no and that all I could get is a store credit. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on 4 different cars for my family over the years and they stiff me on $102??? Horrible customer service!

Without their help we would have been stuck, we needed new ball joints and barring they had everything in stock and what they didn’t have in terms of tools they went to the other location to get for us. To those who would consider purchasing Laclede Chain’s tire chains, My wife purchased a brand-new set of Laclede tire chains from O'Reilly Auto Parts for a brand-new 2020 Ford Explorer. We took a trip to Mammoth Mountain in California in December 2022. On the trip we were required to install and drive on the tire chains. En route to Mammoth one of the tire chains broke and chewed up the felt fender well on our new SUV. Additionally, the remaining tire chain links broke loose and tore up the remaining fender wells.
O'Reilly Auto Parts sold my wife the Laclede tire chains reportedly designed for the 2020 Ford Explorer. However, when confronted regarding the defective tire chains, O'Reilly Auto Parts store employees tried to blame my wife for not purchasing the right size for our SUV. After talking with the store manager, O'Reilly Auto Parts, we were able to get a refund for the defective tire chains. However, we now needed to file a complaint with Laclede Chain to repair the damage to our Explorer that did not even have 6,000 miles on it. The warranty claim was reportedly submitted, but I never heard anything back. I engaged with the O'Reilly Auto Parts store manager on multiple occasions with no updates.
Finally, one year later, I must pay for the replacement parts myself, totaling $707 in repairs. All I’ve asked was for Laclede Chain to make it right and to repair the damage to my vehicle, but they were unwilling to try or even contact me regarding the issue. The O'Reilly Auto Parts store manager stopped communicating with me as well. Therefore, based on their unsatisfactory business practices, I will never buy nor recommend that anyone buy any Laclede Chain products. They are unwilling to stand by their product and pushed the cost of their defective tire chains on to their customer, me.
Lastly, Laclede Chain may not be solely at fault. O'Reilly Auto Parts should bear some of the responsibility as well for two reasons. First, they may have sold my wife the wrong part, and its employees did not verify the accurate tire chain part number to ensure they were not at fault. Second, the O'Reilly Auto Parts store corporation should carry some form of insurance to protect its customers, while forcing its suppliers to maintain reliable insurance and warranty policies. These items were not reflected in my current dealings with O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Finally, after a year of trying to make it right, I wanted to share my unsatisfactory experience with both organizations. Furthermore, I want to caution anyone in need of auto parts and more specifically tire chains to rethink purchasing items from both O'Reilly Auto Parts and Laclede Chain. There are more reputable organizations that will carry insurances and warranties to protect both their customers and their corporations. I urge anyone and everyone to purchase their automotive needs from those businesses and not O'Reilly Auto Parts and Laclede Chain.
Respectfully sent:Tracy

I went into a O'Reilly's store to buy a headlamp bulb for my vehicle. I was looking at the bulbs and an employee wanted to help me, so I said, ok. I had pulled a package and was looking at it, when the employee pulled a double package off and said for a few bucks more you can get 2. So, I agreed to get the double pack for the price it was showing on the shelf (it was the last one). When he rang it up and tried to charge me double, I said, "No, that's not what was marked." So, he got the manager who said they would not sell it to me at what it was marked on the shelf after the employee talked me into buying it.
Items are to be sold at what they are marked. If they can't keep track of their inventory and mark items correctly, that's their fault, not mine. I contacted corporate, who would do nothing, to the district manager, who would do nothing. Most stores would honor their mistake. So, it is on to Federal Trade Commission and Attorney General. All this after I have been a regular customer of this store. It is very aggravating.
