I have a 535x BMW and I put in an issue because my compressor and starter went. I called Omega on June 5th, I told them it was hard to get in contact with them because they're on a different timezone. I spoke to the guy who got my contract together and he was very nasty to me. He was talking so good when I first got them. He even said, "You got an expensive car. If anything should break down, you know it's going to be right there. And when taking out this insurance, you don't have to worry." But that's a lie. As far as the compressor and the starter, they did that, but not the serpentine belt. It was $700 and he told me they’re not covering it, that I’m on my own. He even said I might have not read my contract when I told him I understood differently. I did read my contract and it didn't say anything about that belt not being covered. This car is very expensive that's why I have got the insurance. And I never miss a payment.

When it was time for me to get the car towed because my starter went, they told me I have used that before for a roll service. To which I had to disagree because I always had Auto State which is coming out of my pocket, extra $15 a month I pay for. They did have somebody come here, he closed my car. And I have all wheel drive. He pulls it out of the driveway without putting on the wheels, messing up the transmission.

They took my car to the shop, it was a $1000. When I was to go pay the deductible, BMW is charging me $106. I wasn't supposed to pay the $6, I'm only supposed to pay $100. The second time, I paid $100. So they did charge me for deductible the right way but the second time, they did not. And then BMW left my car on the side of the road where it was in fact the 5th but they left it out without the serpentine belt being on it so they never test the car. They never knew what was going on with the car after they put the compressor on because I had to take it to another shop to get the serpent belt on. And that cost me another $300 something to get it on.

My husband was in the hospital. He's on dialysis. And we needed a car. Omega gave me $30 a day for rental but that won’t even get a car for $30 a day. I had a rental car for three days and they weren't going to pay for it. So I paid $318 the first time I got the compressor. The second time the starter went, I know they weren't going to rent me a car. That was another $93 that Omega never paid me. I'm pissed off with them and they know they were wrong for treating me that way. And that's why I'm taking it to the Lemon Law. I didn't like the way they went off on me like that. What good do I need Omega for? I cancelled my policy with them. Why would I pay them another $204 for the heartache that I went through? I only had four final payments with them. But I definitely cut them off. And I don't care. I went through hell with them. I will not ever, ever recommend nobody to them.

There was an electrical issue with the trailer wiring for my F-250 Super Duty which we had repaired and claimed for from Omega. When I bought the package originally, I asked certain questions about what was covered. I was told these repairs were covered. And so I provided the dealership the information so they can file the claim. The dealership called Omega and then the electrical claim was denied. I had to call the company back and the guy on the phone told me it should be covered. He's in contact with the adjuster and the adjuster contacted the dealership and told them to do it whenever.

I picked up my truck from the dealership. The adjuster was now arguing with the dealer that when the guy who answered my phone call said it was wrong, that this is not covered. They authorized it but there was that back and forth because the service manager made a point of telling me that "You're just protected." I called them and they got through standing. Somewhere in the training protocol, someone needs to be boned up on what is and is not covered. In the end, I’m satisfied that it was covered but getting there wasn't the easiest.

Omega Auto Care has been everything I would expect paying for. Maribeth, my rep down at Long Mercedes, always dealt with Omega on what needed to be repaired and replaced. She was the middle person and I never dealt with Omega directly. I've had to use the $100 deductible a few times, which was well understood, but they've taken care of everything that they were asked, so it was nice.

Omega is efficient and I'll recommend it to a friend. I had a stress free experience with them.

Omega Auto Care covers my F-150 however, their claims process is a very difficult and long. You have to go through too many minutes to have something done. It’s so much trouble trying to get in contact with one of the representatives or claim officers. I took my truck to the dealership and they could never get in contact with someone from Omega Auto Care. And when the dealership finally got in contact with them, they’d say they were getting ready to close. They said they have several call agents but then if you call back later, the same person answers the phone. How is that remotely possible if you have more than one agent and you have an 800 number. There's no way in the world, I would get the same agent all the time. Plus, I got transferred three or four times and got nothing.

The dealership here opens at 7:00 am and I would try to call Omega Auto Care an hour prior to me going there to try to have someone on the phone by the time I got to the dealership. Once the car got fixed, the dealership can't release my car because still, no one is answering Omega’s phone. So, then the dealership kept my car overnight. I didn’t have my vehicle because no one answers the phone at Omega. It's difficult getting anything done. I might as well pay for everything on the pocket because I don't want to get a headache. It was a horrible and displeasing experience. I expected more professionalism from Omega Auto Care and I never received it.

Another claim was when I had a rental car. I don't know if Omega didn’t receive the paperwork but I didn’t get any money back. Other than that, I'm happy with Omega. Their process was good and their reps were helpful. I asked if I could take my vehicle to Pep Boys and they said that it's okay as long as they have their insurance. Also, when they had to tow my vehicle, they're helpful and were here right away. I would really recommend Omega especially for a diesel vehicle since everything comes out really expensive. In fact, I didn’t really pay much at all with these two times that I've dealt with them.

We have our Ford covered by Omega. Previously, we needed a tow for which we had Omega's 800 number. They work fast. Our recent claim was for a transmission assembly. The claiming process was easy. I was able to go to whatever mechanic I wanted and I chose mine. My mechanic got in touch with Omega directly. Essentially there was a deductible that I had to use, which was minor. The car runs fine now. It worked as I had anticipated it. I was contacted by the people from Omega due to falling behind once on a payment. We obviously had to use Omega a couple of times, and that always helps. I’d hate to not pay for it and we're paying over $100 a month. We do a lot of driving, so we wanted to make sure that if the car did have a major and we’d be protected. I was satisfied with Omega and they worked smoothly. This aftermarket warranty that we purchased worked good and it was an easy experience with Omega.

I've done two separate claims for my Jeep Liberty. One was when I had a bad brake sensor and the little 12-volt lighter didn’t work. The other time, I had a leaking radiator and they fixed that. The claims were handled through the dealership and it was a relatively easy process. I never got anything back for the rented car that I claimed though. It was a hundred bucks. There was a bit more paperwork - I had to fax and they said they never got it.

Another thing also is we get phone calls everyday for car insurance and some of them are either scammy or they sound scammy, so initially when Omega called, I was very hesitant because I don’t know who they were. But they were pretty cool about it. Every time I had a question, Omega answered them. They send me all the paperwork. It’s nice if there's a better way to sell this type of insurance other than just over the phone. They also don't have an actual website for their services just like some other company. This makes it a very very weird process. Other than that, it's been fantastic. I definitely benefited from them so, I definitely promote them.

Would give zero stars if I could. I've had nothing but troubles with this company. When I signed up I was told my coverage covered pretty much everything from bumper to bumper especially all the components in the engine. Well I made a claim on my valve timing actuator and guess what they didn't cover it. Luckily I didn't cancel my other extended coverage with the dealership I bought my car from because they covered it. I was going to keep this coverage and cancel my other but that ain't going to happen now.

Another problem I'm having is with customer service. It's been over a week now I've been trying to cancel my coverage, I left a message with customer service but received no callback. A couple days later I call again and finally get ahold of someone, they extend me to a different number to cancel my coverage, I sat on that extension for over 30 min to be told they're unavailable. So I leave a message and of course I get no callback. Now the last couple days I've been calling that extension everyday, just to be told Every time that they're unavailable, and Every time I call customer service they just want me to call that extension. So for the last week and a half I've been trying to cancel my coverage but no progress has been made. It's sickening how they treat and scam their customers.

I had some suspension work done on my Chrysler 300. I brought the car in for service and they did some repair on it, but when I took the car to drive it for a little bit, I thought the repair wasn’t enough. It was doing the same thing so I brought it back for a second time. There was good service even though the car had to wait there for a few days and that’s the only car I have. When I got that insurance, they told me I have rental and towing. Even if I was out of town, they would even get me a hotel. They were able to give me a car the second time. The first time, they gave one only for a few days.

It’s a good service. Unlike some other insurance where it has to get a few days to get the claim ready to get the checks from the mail, it wasn’t like that with Omega. As soon as the car was ready, they were able to get the money and give me my car back as soon as possible. I drive a 2013 car every day and it’s still making a little sound. It’s not big but I’m gonna have to take it back and have it checked again to see what’s going on with it. Aside from that, everything is good.

I have a BMW X5 that’s covered with Omega Auto Care. When the car was running rough, I took it in to a BMW dealership and they diagnosed the problem as engine core. They called the Omega Care claims department and the claim was approved. The claims rep was very good, patient, and knowledgeable. Omega's claims process is a great one as long as one has the correct number.

However, there are some times when I take my car in and they notice something else that can possibly go wrong, I don't like the idea that it has to go wrong first when they know that it will go wrong. When I first took out the policy, I was told to take the car in and get everything done at once because every time I take it in, it's $100 out of my pocket. I’d rather pay $100 one time rather than paying $100 multiple times when it’s been diagnosed that something else is going to go wrong. Nevertheless, Omega is one of the better extended warranties that is out there. I spoke with a number of other extended warranty providers and people call me all the time trying to get me to switch, but I'm satisfied with Omega. And if I had to do it again, I would go still with Omega.

I was called by Omega when my 2014 Mini was close to being out of manufacture warranty. They said this policy would pick up where our manufacturer's policy left off. I had an extended policy with another company on my previous mini and they were very responsive and took care of most of the issues. I should have gone back to them. Omega's policy was much more expensive but boy did the Omega let me down big time. Turns out the policy they sold me does pick up where the manufacturer's warranty leaves off with a bunch of exclusions.

I have a good relationship with the dealership we get the car serviced at on a regular basis and I asked them if they knew of Omega. They had not but assured me they had worked with several extended warranties. I've had the policy for several months now and I have not had any major issues with the car. But today was different. It turns out I had a rear light malfunction that welded the light bulb to the socket. The short also damaged an electronic routing module that also includes a sensor to detect if the air bags were deployed (obviously the sensor was not damaged since the airbags were not deployed but other circuits in the module was shorted) and damaged a seatbelt restraint module.

The policy I had with Omega excluded "any safety features" and "any body damage." The minute the service representative mentioned the seatbelts and airbags, Omega denied the claim (even if they were damaged because of another electrical issue). As for the light, Omega said because the light was welded into the socket, it became a body part replacement and would not fix it. I learned my lesson the hard way. Don't trust any extended warranty company calling out of the blue (especially Omega Auto Care).

    Hello Mr Galloway,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Im glad you had a good experience during the first claim that was filed on your water pump which is listed for coverage and we were able to save you $568.32.

Regarding the seatbelt and airbag. In your review you clearly state that these items are not listed for coverage which is why they were not covered.

Omega Auto Care honors our contract for covered components the same way we do for non covered components and the items listed below would not be covered by any aftermarket service contract unless otherwise stated.

Sorry for any confusion regarding your policy, but hopefully we showed you that we do adhere to our policies in every situation. Please consider us in the future should you purchase another service contract.

I have a Ford Escape and I made a claim with Omega Auto Care for the back hatch. The bracket in there was broken so they had to get that replaced. I also made a claim for the fuel pump. The only time I can usually take my vehicle in was on a Saturday and Omega closes at noon and no one was there to authorize. So, I had to leave my vehicle there over the weekend which costs me two days of extra rental and Omega wouldn’t pay for which I wasn’t too happy about. The 2 claims I had weren’t that big of a deal as far as cost-wise but it's irritating because I didn’t wanna leave my vehicle and then have to come back Monday to get it.

I bought my vehicle from the dealership and they’re always really good. We had great interactions and they took care of all the claim process for me. After I okay the claim, they called Omega and get the authorization to do the repair. They send whatever paperwork by email and tell what’s wrong with the car and Omega approves it via email as well. I haven't had Omega long enough to really have any issues but I would recommend them. Omega covered my claims that the dealership didn’t do and they didn’t squabble about it. They were fine and they didn’t ask them for extra stuff. It was good and I'm satisfied with the experience.

I have my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta covered with Omega Auto Care. The light keeps burning up in the car and I have to put lights in the car probably every month and a half or so. I buy them for $60 a pair and they only last a month and a half. On Google, if I go and check up on the reviews people leave in there, it seems like a lot of people are having trouble with the headlights. I would think that pretty soon they should come out with a recall. It's something that's causing those headlights to burn quickly. I took it to a shop but they have not called me yet.

I filed a claim for my AC compressor and the process was easy. I called them and at the beginning, I didn't have any response so, then I called the lady that I made the payments to. She apologized and put me on with somebody and on the right track. She split things up for me and it was so helpful. I called the cheapest that I pay the money to. Within the next day, it was done. I also talk to her every month because I had to give them the approval to take the money out of my debit card so, they call me every month. Everything's fine and I'm very satisfied. I would recommend anybody to get it. It's very helpful and my experience was awesome.

When I had an issue regarding the passenger window, air conditioning and another part, I took it to GMC, submitted the insurance card, and GMC were the ones who dealt with Omega. However, the repair process took a while because somebody from Omega had to come and look at the car and see if those parts are really wrong and if they're something they’d approve. From there, my car got fixed, and I was satisfied. It was a good experience but it was also a little nerve-wracking that I had to wait for them to come to that place to inspect the car.

I have my Captiva covered with Omega Auto Care and I filed a claim for an issue with the valves in the engine. I took the car to the Chevy dealership and they diagnosed the problem. However, the claims guy was giving us a hard time about what was going on. At the beginning of the process, they weren't listening to what the dealership had to say. There was something in the engine and the dealership couldn’t tell me exactly what it was until they opened up the engine and Omega was not giving them the permission to look in the engine to see what it was. So we had to argue with those guys to finally give us permission. I had to sign a note saying that, if they didn’t pay the claim, that I would have to go through, to examine what was wrong with the engine. So it seemed like they were trying to get out of repairing the car before there was even a diagnosis on it.

I wasn’t swearing at the guy and I was just trying to ask him permission about the valve. He was trying to tell me that the valves were anything that’s lubricated in the engine. And I’m not mechanic but in my position, I know what the lubricated part is. I was saying, “Well, right here in Chilton’s it says, it’s a lubricated part.” So he just hung up on me and I was pretty fuming about that. But I wasn’t yelling at him and I was just trying to get to the bottom of the situation. In the end, I was pretty satisfied. Other than them being a little difficult, they took care of everything even though we had a bit of an issue and they paid for the repairs. It just seemed like they weren’t as friendly and helpful as they should be.

They said it wasn't covered but it took a whole day for me to get my vehicle back and we had to make several calls to the people at the dealership. I told the man there that I needed to hear from Omega myself that it wasn't covered but they couldn’t get in contact with Omega to get the clearance.

I know the dealership can rip customers off like that and say that it's not covered when it actually is just to get the money. And I won't know because they say that the dealership has to be the one to call to get that information. That's not fair because I'm the one paying for it and I work hard for my money. In the end, there weren't a lot of things we thought was covered that was actually covered and we wound up paying for them. Next time, I'll know that when it comes to these extended warranties, once you get in there, you can't get out of it. It is what it is.

When I took the vehicle in for other service work, I told them that the AC had shut down awhile back, then after a while, it's not going to go in about 10 miles, so I shut it off and got back in then it worked okay. They gave it a check and found an error code in it. They knew what it was, so they fixed it. The issue was on my end and it was the fact that we didn’t know it would be covered under the warranty until it had already been fixed. If we knew it had been covered, then the claim would have been submitted before they fixed the vehicle. It was ignorance on my part too since it was the first claim I'd had with them. Instead of paying them directly, I ended up having to pay for it and then Omega reimbursed me.

When I got reimbursed for it, the only question I had on the whole thing was the fact that the labor reimbursement was significantly different than what I had to pay to get it done. Omega didn’t pay me for what they paid for the part, or at least in their breakdown the expense I paid for the part. They only paid a portion of the labor and then deducted their deductible. That wasn't to my liking. I didn’t feel that I got an answer on that thing to really understand what the problem or what the difference was.

I have my Chevy Malibu covered with Omega Auto Care. I have filed a claim for a bunch of stuff and one of them was the wire harness. The claim process was very easy. I take the car to the dealership and they find out what the problem was. Then I call the people I know if it was under my warranty. Some of the stuff I had was on a warranty. I had over $700 worth of issues that was on my car over a period of time. None of them seemed to be on my claims. So, they reimbursed me the payment with my one item, which I know is pretty cool.

But I had one issue with the representative that I spoke with on the phone. The guy from the other company had a very nasty attitude and hung up on me. I knew electronic stuff wasn't covered but since I had someone that dealt with my car and I was dealing with my reimbursement. He was very rude. I was pissed off. Other than that, the guys at Omega answer so smoothly. They emailed me right away and kept in contact with me. It was great. It's very affordable and it was easy to get them. Anytime I have something wrong with my car, I go to the dealership. They let me know what they did and I call Omega to take care of it from there. It's really a breeze, so overall, I'm very satisfied.

My 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan is covered with Omega Auto Care. I filed claims for the blower from my heater and I had my passenger side window replaced. They had to change some mechanism in there to make it work. I had both of the jobs done at Tires Plus and they helped me with the claims. I had good interaction with the people at Tires Plus and everything was carried through well. I'm very satisfied with the claims process.

Everybody from Omega is very nice. I'm trying to get my finances together and they've been working with me real good about my payments. It's hard to find good people that care about you maintaining what you have with them and they've done that with me. I was paying on a plan at one time and it lapsed. My wife pays the bills and I thought she was paying it. They tried to reinstate me because I didn't know it has lapsed but then, they couldn't because I was too far behind. So, I had to get a new plan which is pretty much like I had before but it was like a new enrollee. And I told them I'm not gonna let that happen again. I would speak highly of Omega. They're excellent and have done real good to me. And when my wife talks with them, they're very nice. I have told other people about my coverage with them and I'd recommend them to a friend.

There were some issues going on with my Chevy Aveo and I went to the Chevrolet dealership in Orangeburg. They did a diagnostic check and then they called Omega Auto Care and told them all about it. The dealership fixed the issue and Omega Auto paid for it but there was some stuff that I had to pay for like the gasket that they don't cover. I was told that a gasket was bad and I will have to replace that and they were talking about $1300 worth of coverage plus the rest of the stuff that they did not cover. Omega could have more stuff on the vehicle that they cover. None of the stuff that they cover is what's wrong, and it almost defeats the purpose of paying for the extra warranty. But some things were great like when my air conditioning went out. That was $1300 and they repaired all of that, so it was wonderful.

Took my car to my mechanic & told me that a hose broke & that my water pump went bad. So I had my mechanic call Omega & they were able to cover my water pump replacement. Saved me over $900. I had to come out of pocket for the hose replacement & labor for that. I decided to replace my brake fluid as it was time. All in all I only paid $600 out of more than $1500. I'm glad I had the warranty as that huge of a hit would have left me reeling.

I specifically went with Omega due to the coverage as well as the available rental car when my vehicle is in the shop. I have had it about a year and have not needed to use it until now. I took my vehicle to the shop to get repaired for a covered item. After diagnosing the problem I received a call back from the shop informing me that the repair was covered and my vehicle could be repaired the same day. Except when they ran it through Omega, the price for the part was too high. Omega then ordered a part to be delivered late the following day.

Since it was my only vehicle I rented a car while mine was in the shop. When I contacted Omega for rental car reimbursement I was read the rules which state that labor charges must exceed 4 Hours to qualify for rental reimbursement and the shop charges were only 2 hours. I was without a vehicle for over 2 days due to Omega's need to order the part when the shop had one on hand. I feel that a rental car reimbursement was justified due to Omega's delay however they did not see it that way. Not to mention the shop is still awaiting payment for the repairs. Make sure that you read and understand the contract. If not it will get read back to you over the phone.

It looked like a rebuilt motor would be put in, even if it got 124,000 miles on it. It won't work too good so they have to put another motor in before it's over with. The last couple of weeks ago, Omega decided that they're gonna pay for it. It took them that long to decide to come look at it. They're gonna warranty the motor for 100,000 miles. But I don't want to go through this again. This insurance company isn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend Omega Auto Care to anybody.

Due to similar experiences, we implemented a new process that will eliminate the same issue happening in the future. Hello Mr. Eaton,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!

We're happy to hear that your vehicle was fixed and the claims process met your expectations.

Your rental car should have also been covered. The rental car benefit works slightly different than your repair benefits. In most cases, the rental car is separate from the repair bill because not all repair facilities have rental cars on site. If you choose to use the rental benefit, you would choose a rental car company thats convenient for you, rent the vehicle yourself, then submit the receipt to us via mail or email, and we submit the reimbursement check to you within 7-10 business days of receiving the receipt.

I bought a 2005 Lexus car and the initial warranty on the car was gone, but the car has low mileage and I know the parts are going to be expensive if I’m going to fix it. I know the car’s labor trying to get it repaired would be expensive so I meant to get coverage. When I took it in to get my oil changed, they told me that I had some gaskets that needed to be replaced because they were leaking oil. Omega Auto Care did what they were supposed to do but there were certain things that they don’t cover, which wasn’t what I signed up for, so I’m left to take care of it myself.

I called them to see what the coverage was but they said they don’t cover that. It was $900 to fix it but they didn’t want to fix it. I don’t understand why because they cover everything else that was going wrong with it except that part. So I’m paying a $150 a month and they can’t cover something like that. They're supposed to warrant all that needs to be repaired mechanically. If that's the case, I’ll just get somebody that covers bumper to bumper because if I’m not covered, there’s no sense dealing with them. If I’m going to pay my money, I want to get what I’m paying for. I bought an extended warranty so I wouldn’t have to pay for it.

My 2013 Malibu was covered with Omega Auto Care. I filed a claim on wheel bearing and tire and it was very disappointing. I called Omega to find out what the procedure was. The people at Omega told me that I should be calling the Claims as there are two different levels but were both under the same phone number. So I made that call and after sitting on hold I found out that I needed to text somebody else for the part. I did that and the guy said he doesn't have the part, and I was like, "I need my car fixed."

In the end, I had a young woman who was very helpful. I asked if it was covered and the lady said that it should be as long as there's no damage that I caused. She said to have it diagnosed, so I did. I went and had it diagnosed by our wonderful mechanic. He was very good. Then along the way, my mechanic called Omega. Omega told the mechanic that they haven't gotten a go ahead to fix the vehicle because they're not sure that it's covered. I had to make another call and they said that it's already given the okay to that piece of the issue and I asterisk on it, exclamation marks that they should pick up the part, and it is okay to go ahead and fix it.

It was Good Friday at that time and Omega would have called back my mechanic and give him the okay to fix the car and they didn't. So we had to wait the entire weekend. On Monday, I called again and Omega said that they'll send the confirmation that it's okay to fix it but it didn't come that day. I called back and they said that they'll make sure that's sent.

I didn't understand the reason why they never did it. It sounded like Omega is a company that is responsible for selling the warranty and then the actual work side of it is a whole different group and they don't work together because I kept getting told, "We're not the entity that you need to talk to." And yet the numbers were the same so that was very frustrating. I never thought it would be this difficult. My mechanic is a very busy person in Des Moines and has an amazing amount of jobs to go through their business per day and they do these warranties many times. He said that they've never had one this hard to get resolved. So, that wasn't very encouraging.

Now once the repair was made, I made sure that they had all the information they needed to send in the claim. And by the time that was all done, my repairman received their money immediately so that was nice. But they watched me struggle trying to even get this so that my repairman could receive the confirmation to even fix the car. That is something that really needs to change.

I'm a little bit concerned when we have the next issue and how that's gonna pan out because I certainly don't wanna have to go through this hoop jumping over and over and talking to three gentlemen on the very first day. Also, I'm not sure I would recommend them because we're still not assured that the next time we have an issue, it won't be another problem to get resolved as quickly as we should. Then if they're gonna have phone numbers that look like they come from the same business, then that's how it should be instead of saying, "We're not really affiliated with them. We just do this for them." Then the phone number should never appear to be in sync with each other.

The engine of my 2004 Chevy Silverado blew so I made a claim for repairs with Omega Auto Care. It was not a good experience. It took them like three months to get out to even look at it. We called and they're like, "Oh, yeah. Someone would be out within 24 hours." No one came. And the weather was all nice those times then they came out in the middle of a snowstorm. They denied the claim because there's a little bit of sludge in the pan. I know it's in the book but I think it was a failed oil pump. I've done all the maintenance and I have records since 2012. So it was definitely not poor maintenance contrary to what they said. I wasted my money. I'm dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend it. Never buy anything from this place again.

I recently filed a claim for my transmission and the process was easy. The dealership told me the reason why the transmission went out was because the transmission cooler was bad. Omega Auto Care didn't want to replace the transmission cooler so they put a brand new transmission in there. The same thing happened to the new one. The new one overheated a couple of times too right after they did it. On the wall in the Ford dealership they had in print, "If you change the transmission, you must change the transmission cooler." They told me they tried to flush it out versus changing it. The one who evidently did it didn't get it qualified. I came back to the dealer and told them, "Of all the many transmissions in here, why is it overheating?" They said, "Well, that's because your warranty company did it."

I asked to speak to the managers. I spoke to a guy with a higher level that deals with the company. He said, "No, we told them that they can change the cooler. I told them that." And then, they called back and spoke to somebody else and they said, "No, we denied the cooler." So it's just a couple of different things. But either way, they didn't change the cooler. I had to pay out of pocket to get that done.

The other thing was when I needed a rent a car, I had to prepay everything and they reimburse it. I had the dealership getting involved and jumping in saying, "Look, we're gonna go ahead and get the car for you. And we're gonna get that and reimbursed up." They even gave me the day pay for the rental car. At that point I was asking myself, "Why did I even I had it? Why did I have warranty?" But I haven't been through it before. I haven't got cars on payment where warranty comes with it. And then, I complain about bad things and they'll only go and take care a couple of things. They gave me only half of the job. I was unsatisfied since then, I let them go.

    Hello Mr. Adams,

We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience. In the end, I'm glad we were able to put a new transmission in your car and save you $5213.46.

Your shop reported the cooler to us and we informed them it's not listed for coverage. With that said, they should have notified you that the cooler would be your responsibility and that would have eliminated the additional headaches for you.

The rental reimbursement is a standard benefit in regards to aftermarket service contracts. Not all shops have onsite rental car providers, so this allows you to choose the most convenient option available. Once you submit your receipt, a reimbursement check is mailed within 72 hours of receiving your receipt.

But now that I tried to use it, it's not working again. I had to put my car in the hospital over there two more days. I called Omega and filed a claim on it. They told me that I would have to authorize dealer call with the price and the work then they'll tell me what they can cover. Then the dealer came back and let me know what they cost so I never really got to sit in on that process.

The customer should be allowed to try and make the claims instead of going through all the hoopla with the sales person. They make money 'cause they're gonna call this and that. Then the customer would call about what's wrong with the car and what the warranty covers this so they'll just do that. It also takes so long to get to a person when I call. But I'm okay with the service and it's good so far. The warranty basically pays for its repairs and cost so far. So all in all, it's a great experience.

The Chevrolet House here took it out. The guy, Cody, from Country Chevrolet was on the phone back-and-forth at least four times a week. They sent pictures and faxes. And Omega still wouldn’t pay and they sent their own investigator. Paid for a plane ticket for somebody to come all the way to Borger, Texas just to agree on the same thing, to verify everything that had already been said and done. I got my van back. No rent-a-car. No nothing from Omega and that's why I was going to cancel. The guy I talked to waived my next payment for me to go ahead and decide whether to or not. So, I went ahead and I kept it through June but I'll probably cancel it. Omega sucks.

I have my car covered under it also and I think it's a completely different thing but it's through Omega too. I've been having a problem with it but I'm afraid to take it to the shop because I'll be going through it again. But hopefully, if I take my car in and they find something bad, I won't have to go through all of this like I did with my van.

    Hello Mr Hale,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. In the end, Im glad we were able to cover your transmission and pay the repair facility $3644.17 for your new transmission.

Because of similar feedback regarding your claim being delayed, we recently added a new process by employing representatives whose main focus is to be a "claims advocate" on behalf of the customer throughout the claims process, which will avoid instances like yours where we would not receive a response for several weeks from your repair facility. Before, we relied on repair facilities to relay information to our customers regarding the claim, but the message relayed to consumers would usually put blame on us for something thats out of our control. So going forward, our claims advocates will keep customers informed throughout the entire claims process.

One of our representatives was able to speak with you earlier today to clarify some of the comments made in your review, hopefully she was able to thoroughly convey some of the notes we have in our system.

In regards to your comment regarding the inspector, we use 3rd party inspectors when inspecting any repair. This process is standard in regards to all aftermarket service contracts. This process is two- fold; it ensures the repair in question is in-fact needed, and it ensures that our customers are not being taken advantage of.

In your case, we had a lot of difficulty getting responses from the repair facility. We understand shops are busy, but in some cases we did not receive a response from your facility for several weeks which prolonged the repair.

You mentioned that you are currently having issues with your engine. We would love the opportunity to change your opinion regarding our services on your next repair. Please take the vehicle in as soon as you can for a diagnostic so we can help you with this repair.

We are sorry for the past inconvenience regarding your previous claim, but look forward to making it right in the future!

My extended warranty paid for a fuel pump in my Subaru Outback a few weeks ago and the experience was very satisfactory. Also, I needed lockout service on my Subaru Forester last week and the experience was great.

4/6/17 I was surprised that instead of my copay of $100. The garage told me Omega is not paying another $100. So I had to pay $212. w/ tax. I looked in my contract and couldn't find??? Please give me the reason?? So I can understand. Thank you!

I highly recommend Omega!! I was in a panic this Feb-Mar. Rattling sounds under my car. So I took my Jeep to my mechanic in March showed him the coverage I had signed up for, in December 2016. They submitted it to Omega and with a few questions they said, 'Fit it. We will cover'. Again I thank you for being there for me!!!

I took my Chevy into the shop due to an issue for the AC however found out we had an oil leak as well. The auto technician called Omega so they could submit the claim for the two items needing repair and we were told by the Omega claim agent that since we originally went in for the AC repair they could not cover the cost of the repairs for the oil change since that was a separate issue. Furthermore the claims agent instructed us to go back to the shop at a later date for the oil leak repair and they would cover the cost, however, we would have to pay another $100 for the deductible. We were totally put off by this. A month later we did have a representative call us back concerning our service and they made note of our issue and gave us guidance what to do should a similar situation arise, he also credited us back the $100.
