Due to Covid-19 I was granted a deferral for 2 months. Lexus is charging their customers $78. 26 per month. As a customer, I feel Lexus is taking advantage of their customers through this difficult time. I live in Maryland and the State is not fully open and my small business depends on providing services to the community but if our clients are all teleworking this prevents us from providing such service which decreases our revenue. Instead of Lexus trying to bleed their customers they should be more understanding and waive such fees especially since they only charge $25.72 for late payments. Why would I pay $156.52 to defer a payment when I can just pay late for $51.44.

We are all trying to manage our mental, finances, and safety through this pandemic and the last thing we need is companies taking advantage of consumers/customers. Lexus Do Better!!! I will no longer be your customer after my lease comes to term. Mercedes and BMW are looking a whole lot better to me right about now!!!

Doesn’t matter to LFS how many cars you’ve leased or if you’ve paid on time every month. If you don’t double pay property taxes which they charge when you re-lease another car at the end of the prior lease. THEY DO THIS TO EVERY CUSTOMER WHETHER YOU NOTICE IT OR NOT. I’ve paid my property tax every year. But when I leased another car at the end of my present lease, they want me to pay the full property tax on the one I turned in and the full property tax on the new car I leased. So they want over $430 for property taxes!!! Their side of this ** is that Texas doesn’t pro-rate. I don’t care about Texas. I didn’t lease the car from Texas. That extra property tax is LFS cost of doing business. Why do they think that a customer should pay 2 property taxes to lease another car from them?

The only way to avoid their double taxation is to lease every car on January 1 of every year but they aren’t open on January 1 of ANY year! Plus they always send out renewal lease discounts at least 3 months prior to the end of your current lease. So they end up charging you 24 months of property taxes although you only had 1 car in your possession for the entire 12 months. You may not know you paid 2 property taxes in the year you leased another car from them because they've added it to your current lease and it may not show up under the new lease for sometimes 2 years after you’ve turned in the prior leased car. Beware these thieves (LFS) are ripping you off.

Currently they have reported me to TRANSWORLD FOR the 2015 Lexus PROPERTY TAX WHEN I LEASED MY CURRENT 2017 Lexus in 2017. Although I did pay my property tax on the 2017 Lexus for that years property tax. I PAID $229.34. I only had the 2017 Lexus for 4 months but paid property tax on it for 12 months. See they want 12 months of property tax on the 2015 Lexus I turned in after having it for 8 months. They want an additional $217 for the 2015 Lexus I turned in.

This is on top of the $445 LFS/TFS service fee the salesman added to my 2015 lease and nobody from Park Place Lexus to LFS/TFS can explain what the service fee is for. The sales person assistant told me they use to build in this double taxation in prior leases. I'm going to arbitration to find out if these thieves can legally screw their customers like they have been doing for years. Until then LFS has Transworld calling me everyday.

I’ll never do business again at Park Place Lexus or LFS again!! Both organizations are totally stupid to run off a customer over $217 but there you have it. After 5 cars and no late payments I’d say they’ve ** in their mess kit. Lexus financial is one hateful company. Get this- I have been dealing with the CEO’s executive’s office the entire time. The CEO is having Transworld to call me everyday!!!!

I recently sent a request to Lexus Financial for a negative credit rating to be removed from my credit report. My family have been loyal Lexus customers for the past 8 years with either a lease or purchase and have never missed a payment. During the initial COVID-19 situation in mid March I missed a payment but discovered it shortly after. I then paid the current month and next month online however I came to find out that there was a malfunction with payment online system and the payment never went through. I immediately sent the required payment and called customer service who waived the late fee. However Lexus Financial declined my written request not once but 3 times. They just lost a loyal family.

I've had my Lexus IS350 F-Sport for 2 out of the 3 years, my second Lexus lease by the way. And I wanted something new, I was interested in the Tesla Model 3 but they do not accept trade ins. So I needed to get out of my lease. I listed my car on Swapalease.com and have had about 6 interested buyers, every single time I called LFS and requested an Application I got a different answer, first they would email it to me, then I got a email saying they would mail it to me, month later I call back, they said they would get back to me. I emailed support 2-3 more times and they just told me to call the dealer, called local dealer 3 times, nobody there had ever heard of a "Lease Transfer"... Yea right. They tell me to call LFS back. I've requested it at least a half a dozen times now by both Phone and email and they REFUSE to issue me an application to get out of my lease. I'll never buy a Lexus again. Garbage company.

Lexus makes great cars. Unfortunately their LFS financial "services" is horrible. I recently decided to buy out my lease for an LX-570. I don't live near a dealer so I was told I could do this my calling LFS. There is no option on the LFS phone tree for someone who just wants to buy out a lease. You are told your information will be sent to a dealer who will help. So you just work your way through the phone tree to "other".

I was told to mail in a cashier's check along with a form they would send via email. I mailed in the check and two weeks later I received a title that was not signed and notarized by the Seller - as required in plain English on the title. A useless title. So I called LFS and they told me to send a form in for them to sign and notarize and I could then give the form to my county clerk. They gave me a fax number to send the form - which I then faxed to them.

Two weeks later I had not received the form back so I called. The person on the phone said they did receive the form but "did not know what to do with it". The person then said I should have sent the title back so they could sign and notarize it. The person said I could FedEx it to them and they would sign and notarize it and FedEx it back.

So I sent the title back via FedEx and waited a week with no title returned. I called to see what was going on. The person this time said they did receive my title but it takes them up to 10 business days to process. I told this person that I was told to FedEx to them and they would Fedex it back. The person seemed insulted that I said this and repeated it would take up to 10 business day. So I waited another three weeks and finally my title came in the US Mail, not FedEx. Don't lease a car through Lexus.

Our lease term was up on October 10, 2019 on our NX200T. In mid-September my husband called LFS to confirm all payments were current and to get instructions on how to turn in the vehicle. The LFS representative confirmed our contract was fully paid. He said our contract was up on October 10th and we had until October 20th, 2019 to turn the car in and to simply contact a local dealer for instructions. My husband called the local dealer twice to confirm and to find out how to check in the car. The dealer told us the same info (that we had until the 20th to bring the car in) and that the person who handles lease turn ins was available M – F, 9 am - 5 pm. When it came time to turn in the car we noticed that the 20th fell on a Sunday (we were out of town thru that Friday), a day that no one would be at the dealer to check in our car, so we brought the car in on Monday morning the 21st, the next logical business day.

LFS is now attempting to collect an entire extra month's lease payment because we brought the car in on Monday the 21st instead of Sunday the 20th (despite the fact that there was no one at the dealer on Sunday the 20th). We have attempted to get someone reasonable to discuss the situation, we have offered a compromise, to pay a prorated 1 day or 10 days and every rep we have spoken to simply says they are not authorized to do anything except collect the full extra lease payment. They call every single week with no one ever seeming to know the previous conversations we have had and, despite numerous phone calls, emails and actual letters via USPS, we have been waiting for almost 2 months for anyone in a higher level position to call or email to discuss a resolution.

We have owned 4 different Lexus cars over the years including this NX200T and believe our request is more than reasonable in light of the above circumstances. LFS representatives have been rude, condescending ("read your contract" one told us) and unhelpful. Supervisors are no different than the the people they supervise. For a supposed luxury brand this is the worst customer experience I have ever had in my lifetime for any product! If I could give them -5 stars I would. Final note, we just received a semi-form letter response with a stamped signature today, January 16, 2020, to a formal letter we wrote to the President of LFS on November 29, 2019. The letter is from customer service person (they couldn't even pretend it was from the president or have a simulated real signature) stating that they would not prorate any payment and that the full extra $408 is due and payable.

Not that I think Lexus cares but I have already, in 2 months influenced and steered 4 car purchases away from Lexus due to this experience -- we just bought an Audi and a Lincoln, my mother in-law was going to look at Lexus and instead went with Volvo and my sister's Lexus lease is up this month and she said she won't lease another one based on how we have been treated in this situation.

I had a previous Lexus lease through LFS in which I was paying off the balance on my mileage overage. I set up an automatic monthly payment to pay this off. In November of 2019, I called LFS to see how much was remaining on my balance, so I could pay of the remaining amount. I learned through this call that my account had been satisfied, paid in full and closed as of September. Not only was I never notified that it was paid off, but LFS continued to collect 4 payments worth of over payments from me (I was paying $75 twice monthly).

After months of trying to get my money refunded to me - having to submit evidence via back statements, copies of checks and notarized documents, and waiting for all this to be reviewed by several different departments - I called yesterday to find out through the customer service rep I spoke too that the money I was due in a refund was applied to my current lease with LFS back in September and October. Not a single person I spoke to over the last 3 months was able to tell me that. LFS wasted my time and effort asking me for evidence for a refund I was never going to receive because it was already applied to my current lease. Meanwhile, with them applying this money to my current lease, I was now overpaying there. I will never, ever - ever - lease with LFS again.

I leased a vehicle from Lindsay Lexus through Lexus Financial Services back in 2015. After three and half years of use, I decided to return the vehicle as I wanted an upgrade. Before making the arrangement when to give in the vehicle, I called Lexus Financial to understand my liabilities. They confirmed I'd have to return the vehicle anytime before the next payment cycle which happened to be the 5th of the month. So, having gotten the confirmation from them, I made arrangements to return the car on April 4th, 2019. By that time, I'd already paid my March payment which would have made it okay for me to drive the car until the 5th of April.

But the incompetent Lexus Financial Services folks sent me a closing invoice for wear and tear and excess mileage which I was expecting but also $523 for the month of April. I immediately got ahold of someone at LFS and explained I shouldn't pay for the month I have not used the car. The representative I spoke to understood and said that they would send me a new bill. I never got a bill from LFS and today (November) I got a letter from a collection agency for the exact amount they billed me in April. First, I find it aggravating that they sent my account to collections without attempting—even once—with a corrected invoice themselves. Secondly, Why wasn't the bill corrected? Thirdly, the radius collection agency they use probably have high school dropouts who don't even understand simple dispute that I don't owe the lease portion of the bill.

I had no option but to call back LFS who, apparently, blamed me for not following up on the bill. With countless bills flying everywhere, I don't see how I'm supposed to call every vendor to remind them to send me a bill (had that been the expectation). The people who get to office to work and make sure their company collects money by following up and making corrections where need be are unfortunately expecting the customer to follow up. Unbelievable! Why not get rid of all the employees and have the customers do everything then? Incompetent is an understatement!

I recently turned my Lexus ES350 in early due to going over my lease miles and not wanting to continue accumulating excess miles. I turned it in August 2019 and it wasn't due until May 2020. The other car company that I went with paid the remaining 9 month lease payments. On the day that I turned it in everything was fine. But then I start getting phone calls stating that I owe $2500 for wear and tear, broken windshield and taxes.

Now I know I had to cover the excess miles but these other charges and taxes were never disclosed or discussed. Also, it's very interesting that I still haven't received anything in the mail on paper about these charges and I have asked several times. I called today to make the final payment and I asked if they would mail me a receipt and I was told by the young lady on the phone, that the payment has to be on file for 30 days. She never stated that after the 30 days if they were going to send a receipt out or not. Lexus has truly lost a valuable customer.

LFS is a shell of the reputation for customer service the brand portrays in their marketing and dealerships. I’m on my fourth lease through Lexus Financial. After turning in my 3rd vehicle, I bought a new home and had a change of address as a result. Several months after turning in my 3rd Lexus to the dealership, I got a call from a # claiming LFS had sold my delinquent debt to them for unpaid lease-end mileage charges. This debt collector was incredibly aggressive & rude like I’d committed some sort of crime. I thought it was a prank call, as no one from LFS ever called me directly or emailed regarding lease-end charges. When I called LFS to ask about the call, they told me they have “no visibility” but the call is legitimate.

Apparently, LFS has send a statement for lease-end fees to my old address. I was still a customer of theirs making payments on my new lease. I never got the statement and never once received an email or voicemail message letting me know I had unpaid charges. It had to get to the point of being sent as a bad debt to a 3rd party before I even found out. LFS acted like they couldn’t have cared less. With technology today, LFS needs to take ownership of trying to reach folks via email and leave voice messages when they have a bill versus relying on paper mail. The entire experience made me feel nickled & dimed with zero value as a repeat customer. This is NOT #customerobsession. Sad because the product is good, but you have to treat people right & make things right for your loyal customers and LFA has proven they will not do that.

At the expiration of my 3-yr lease for a Lexus is-300, I returned the car with 8,500 miles. I returned it at the dealers's location, as I was advised, thinking that a visual inspection would be performed in my presence. the individual who took over the car told me "your car is like brand new, etc., etc.".. And I thought that was the end of it. He also told me I will get a bill later for $374.50 -the fee for not renewing the lease (also a rip-off, but I was told about it at the beginning). After 3- 4 weeks, I received an invoice for $816 - 374.50 penalty for not renewing the lease and $442 for "excess wear."

    1) How can a car with 8500 miles on it have excess wear?

2 ) When I called the finance co.- leasing services - they were adamant in their position that the car had several bumps and a scratch on the front bumper. They inspect the car after you leave it - not in your presence; therefore, there is no arguing. Mind you - I was told at the beginning of the lease that for normal wear there would be no charges.

    3) Their profit on the resale of a lexus with 8500 miles is enormous. It was just logical to compensate whatever work they had to do to bring it in tip-top condition from the substantial gain they make on the sale. Instead, their greed and daring make them pass the cost of the work for putting the car back on the market on the consumer.

I am in the process of discussing the matter with an attorney. I advise all those being ripped-off like me to seek legal advice. It's not the amount only, it's the dishonesty of it all. Unparalleled charlatans!

Having leased a total of four Lexus vehicles over 12 years in our household, I was told that each subsequent lease would have the same terms. This was not true for the Lease Disposition Fee, which increased each time. So beware on your subsequent lease contracts. Also Lexus Financial Services keeps giving different answers as to how they can "courtesy" waive the Lease Disposition fee. They will not provide anything in writing but their guideline is someone in your household leasing another Lexus within 30 days (but after this experience, I won't be doing that again). The second having 3 (or 4 depending on which representative you speak to) Lexus or Toyota leases yourself (or within your household again depending on which representative you speak to).

The representatives are varying levels of helpful (from not at all to possibly competent but just want to transfer you to somebody else) and spent most of their time blaming the dealer or saying I was wrong. Even after providing the information requested, they denied the waiver with no additional information and seem affronted when you ask for additional information, so you can provide them the information required. Terrible experiences with Lexus Financial Services.

Shortly after taking delivery of the new 350 I received an end of lease claim on the first for $720, $600 for "bad vehicle repair for a minor accident and the balance for a scratch on a seat. The seat scratch was fair but the $600 was a "let's see what we can screw this customer for". I called to dispute the $600 saying it was fixed through an insurance company and suddenly it was dropped.

Then we got to the end of the second lease and I decided not to release until I see what happens with the end of lease assessment and it was "here we go again". Claiming a damaged tire and $200 + for a new tire. When I took it to a tire dealership they were shocked with the claim. Glad I didn't release, went back to Honda. I have lease from BMW, Acura, Honda and Mini and every time I have turned in the vehicle with no issue; not Lexus! I wrote to Lexus at the end of both leases and guess what? NO REPLY. The issues started in 11/18 -- it's 4/19 now. My car goes back in August (OEM lease) and I can't wait. It's a long set of problems and the short version is: the payment system is glitchy, it doesn't process, you get a late fee (undeserved), then they'll take out double payments, and could not care less. My bank had to put a stop payment on them because of their unauthorized payments (multiples). I make it a point to say, "Please make a note and let someone know" because I know it has nothing to do with the person that I'm talking to, but their apathetic attitude is ridiculous. One person told me their server was having issues and 6 other people were in the same situation. Also, they opened a 2nd lease on my name and then closed it -- also unauthorized.

Every month I'm stuck in a situation with calling them and wasting time because their system doesn't work properly. Online is slightly better than over the phone, but I've gotten locked out (without reason -- all of passwords are saved) of that system and had to call them before to fix that. LFS makes me not want to lease or buy another Lexus or Toyota (since they're the same) again. I don't know if they have a cheap processor or shady people, but the whole thing is a complete hassle.

I have 2 experiences to share. After 2 years of on-time payments, I did not notice when I made some bill pay changes that my auto lease payments stopped. I did not get any sort of communication from Lexus that my payment was late. OK. I happened to contact them for a totally unrelated reason at which point they asked if I would be addressing the late payment. I jumped on it immediately.

A couple of weeks later, my credit score was hit because they seemed to report my late payment ASAP. Is it their right to do it? Yes, I recognize that. I called them and explained the situation. The agent looked up my account and admitted that I should have received a notice and a call prior to having my credit dinged and wasn't sure why that did not happen. "OK, could the credit hit be undone then? "No, sorry. It's your responsibility". So that was the first learning that Lexus Financial considers you a bother.

I was in an accident with the vehicle. It was totaled. My insurance offered a payout HIGHER than what was due on the vehicle. I contacted Lexus Financial to confirm I would receive the excess part of the buyout. Time went by and I saw no check. I contacted Lexus Financial - for some "unknown reason" the check had not been cut as expected. The agent said she would look into it and that I should call back in a few days to check. So let me get this right - if I make a mistake you hit my credit, giving me no chance to address it. If you make a mistake, I need to just sit down, shut-up and wait? Avoid Toyota and Lexus if it means you need to deal with their financial arm. They Do. Not. Care. About. You.

This company had me wire them money through Western Union because their system wasn’t working properly. I sent them payment. I had sent payment with the account number and included all the details they asked me to. They claimed that they had never received my payments and they started sending me repo notices. I paid them more than the amount needed to cover my payment because they kept saying they weren’t getting payment and that I needed to pay right away. Then after paying again and again, I ended up having to fax all the account details... All the receipts for the payments I made because it wasn’t registering in their system.

After they received all the info in their escalations dept that I had sent, they corrected my account. However, they reported to the credit bureau that I had been late on payments and it is next to impossible to get them to remove it. If you want good credit, stay away from Lexus. Their financial dept is horrible. They need a better system. After paying for a $54,000 car, you would think they would treat you better than that.

Buyer beware! Do not lease a Lexus. There is nothing that you can do to appease these people. I took immaculate care of my lease I asked to 50 and brought it back virtually spotless. I received a $350 bill for unusual wear and tear on a vehicle. They refused to point out what wear and tear that was. They did not mention that I was almost 15,000 miles under my allotted mileage.

When I lease of the vehicle the salesman and the finance manager said "just bring the vehicle back and drop it off and we will handle everything." The hair on the back of my neck started to use stand up when about three months before my lease was over a salesman from the dealership where I are used the car started talking about waving "disposition fees". I asked them about it and they said, "you know just the normal fees when you bring the car back". So, I went and put a new set of tires on the car. That wasn't enough apparently as I just received a letter wanting $350 plus tax and "fees". Apparently everyone needs to get scammed at least once by leasing a vehicle, at least that's the way that Lexus apparently sees it.

I have had the worst experience with Lexus Financial Services. We started the process back in Oct to take over a lease and it's now 12/31 and I do not have the car. I have had to make multiple phone calls and each time I call they give me another line about another 7-10 business days for the next step. I was sent a letter dated 12/18 saying the lease was now in my name and my first payment is due 1/1/19, but it is now 12/31 and I have not yet received the title and registration from Lexus. So I can't get plates, and can't take possession of the car, but I am expected to make a payment on 1/1??? Really???

I called again today and now they are telling me that the registration is still being processed. Again, really? What is the point of the lease transfer effective 12/18 if they don't have the ability to get me the registration at the same time or soon after so I can actually get the car and drive it? They had no good answers and blamed Christmas and now say they can FedEx something to me to receive by the end of the week. Bottom line, I hate Lexus and think they have done a terrible job. Other friends who have transferred leases have said it was so easy. 3 months in unacceptable and I will never lease from Lexus again.

I took both keys with the car and returned it to the Van Nuys, CA dealership who provided me with the mileage form and wrote in their book that I returned the two keys with the car. The guy said they don't give any other forms. Now Financial is charging me $350 for the "missing" key that I returned. Now finance puts it on the dealer and dealership puts it on finance. Very professional of them.

I've been calling them for the past three weeks and faxing over any papers that I have and they will not accept it. They want a letter from the dealer. I called and went to the dealership who will not provide me with a letter and stated that, "The mileage form should be enough and that finance can see on their end that you returned the two keys with the car." No one is being helpful at this point and they are putting it on each other and charging me for a key that I returned ($350). Horrible and I will never ever get a Lexus because of this reason.

I am an engineer and my wife is a physician who works in the operating room. Our profession requires us to be efficient. My lease transfer experience was the most inefficient and poorly coordinated process I have dealt with - truthfully, I feel like I've been lied to during this entire process. From initiation to credit application approval, it took about 30 days - this is with providing Lexus with my FedEx account and using 2 day shipping.

What boggles my mind is that Lexus Financial Services will give you different status updates depending who you talk to within the same hour. Here's an example: I called to check the status of our 2nd round of paperwork. Anthony (LFS employee) stated that there was no update to whether LFS has received my paperwork. I updated the third party seller, to which he said he contacted LFS earlier that morning and was advised to resubmit paperwork via fax. I had my wife call about 10 mins after and LFS again gives a different story. This to me is either laziness or flat out lying to a customer.

LFS requested in their package a "binder" OR "proof of insurance" for the 2nd round of paperwork. We sent "proof of insurance" after confirming with a local Lexus Dealer who had an LFS employee because this was the weekend. The keyword in the package was "OR". However, LFS requested our third party to submit, via fax, an insurance binder with the Lien Holder and Address...

Here's the problem, the address that's printed on the paperwork and the address the LFS employee gave us were different. The third party went ahead and submitted his insurance binder with both addresses - and called LFS to confirm they've received and reviewed the document... LFS responded with, "you need to give us 72 hours to review the paperwork". My wife called back the next morning and LFS initially stated that they didn't receive the paperwork - my wife called them out on the lie and stated we spoke to someone the day before, and this employee corrected their story. It's been a full 5 business days since we submitted our 200 dollar lease transfer money order and documents - still waiting to hear back. The worst part? You won't know if there is error in your paperwork unless you're calling every hour hoping one of the LFS employees will give you an honest answer.

Finally, from the start (mid-September), I advised LFS that my wife's due date is coming up and that we would like to have this lease transfer taken care of before our due date. Well, here I am 4 days before my wife is due writing this review because I still don't know if LFS has completed our paperwork or if we need to resubmit paperwork.

What would Lexus Financial Services to do if you are on medical disability, lost your job, and were hacked? They would fine you, ruin your credit, and not take responsibility for providing mis-direction when setting up your payment accounts. I was in a serious car accident (in my Lexus), and because I knew I would have trouble closely monitoring my accounts the way I normally do, I reached out to Lexus Financial Services to help me set up a recurring payment account for my new car.

The payments did not go through because they were not set up correctly. Just ONE month was missed, and Lexus nailed my credit after just 30 days. And, I was not notified until 60 days later. Please keep in mind that I tried to make payments, not suspend them during this difficult time; and I paid the balance immediately, even paying a month ahead, just in case. Considering my circumstances, I figured this would be a simple fix. NO. After multiple appeals, Lexus Financial Services kept to its mantra that it has a policy to report any missed payment after 30 days; and that there is a statement on the website that discusses recurring payments. THAT'S IT. TOO BAD.

WHAT?! So Lexus does not care that they gave me faulty instructions; that I paid the balance immediately; that I had a stellar Lexus account beforehand; that I was given no time to rectify anything; that I have health issues; that I have extenuating circumstances; that in good faith I did everything to make sure they received their payments; that one supervisor actually LECTURED me about monitoring my accounts better, and another who virtually LIED to me about needing to submit certain documentation. I have spent no less than 10 hours on the phone arguing with this service to no avail. I might as well have driven this stupid car off the road... I would have gotten more satisfaction! The short of it is this - I have had an app (Prism - great app) paying my bills for the last five years. Two years ago I bought my GS 350 and synced it to Prism. In those two years I never had a problem, that is until Lexus initiated a "Verification Code". Prism goes into the billers website to pay, since Lexus now refuses to recognize the app it sends out a Verification Code, which in turn makes you re-sync Lexus to the app... so I learned the hard way.

When this was first implemented I called Lexus financial and was told that the verification code was not from them and to ignore it, which I did, in turn missing a payment, which hit my credit! I have owned two Lexus' and in the six years that I have been making payments I have NEVER MISSED ONE. Since I was not notified by Lexus of any missed payment I had no reason to think anything was wrong. If I am not notified by the bank or a biller I 'assume' everything is OK. I have been using this app for five years and have yet to have a problem.

Recently, I received a phone call from an unknown number... As usual I did not answer it - does anybody? However, the area code was from Chicago and since I am doing something in that area I thought to Google the number to make sure it wasn't someone I needed to talk to. It turned out to be Lexus. I immediately dialed the number and that is when I found out that my June payment was 45 days late and my July was 15 days late.

I paid the bill, as finances were not the issue and started to make phone calls. After making multiple calls and explanations as to why the payments were missed (the new implementation of the verification code) they refused to budge. Prism wrote a letter to them on my behalf explaining the situation and still they refused. The dealer called his rep when I told them that I will not be purchasing/leasing Lexus because of the way I am being treated after being a loyal customer for years and still nothing.

LFS stance is that it is not their fault and that there are multiple ways to pay and know that you missed a payment. Look at your statement, check your bank account, answer your phone. Seriously? I don't look at my statement as I have an app that has never failed me in five years. Check my account - well, I keep enough money in my checking account to pay all my bills, I rarely look at it with a fine tooth comb (I will now) and more importantly, I DO NOT answer calls from unknown numbers! Lastly, I do not need a lecture from an hourly employee of LFS telling me how to handle my finances... How dare they.

What was clear during these calls was that not one person knows why they are told not to leave a message... not even the executive office, just that they don't. When I pressed them I got several different answers. 1). It's illegal - back to training for her! 2). It's our policy - OK, show me where it says that on my contract. 3). We just don't - great answer. 4). Because we don't know who is going to listen to the voice mail and if we say they owe money it will be embarrassing.

Great training on LFS' part. Let me translate what all the above is actually saying. We, at LFS, are mitigating our chances of being sued for 'potential disclosure of personal information' by implementing an automated system that does not leave messages, thereby not protecting our customer's rights to information that will allow them to rectify a potential problem. We, at LFS, are more interested in protecting ourselves because of improper training of our employee's than our customers"

I am now speaking to a lawyer regarding whether making an 'automated phone call' is legally binding if 1). The majority do not go through, 2). They do not leave a message so you are unaware that there is a problem. 3). As a company they know the vast majority of customers do not answer calls that are unknown. 4). Not all automated calls go through. I will accept the late payment as a 'punishment', but not the ding on my credit. I am far from done with them and depending on what the lawyer tells me will consider a class action suit against this practice. If this has happened to you and you are interested (depending on the laws of your state) please feel free to contact me at **.

Called Planet Ford and they said they placed all the necessary info on the check vin number, acct number/loan number, social security number etc and they didn’t wanna accept without the correct last name. Now they have reported me to credit bureau for payment as of now 45 days late! And they are continuously adding late fees. Every time I call, the payoff amount is different. Since initially finding out, I have been in contact with both Planet Ford and Lexus and each time I speak with Lexus it’s something different they need which further holds up the process!

This last time they wanted an upload my driver license and ss card In which they received and the following week they said they needed me to sign an authorization form before they could officially change it! WHAT??? I just spoke with you guys the prior week and there was no mention of that. In speaking with Lexus rep today she advised me to call Planet Ford, have them stop payment on this check coming and reissue another check with vin number, ss number, loan/ acct number. Planet ford told me they placed all that info on the last 2 checks and the 3rd one that’s en route. I’m just afraid no matter what is done, they will still find a way to not accept it and it’s me and my credit that suffering. I'm just another totally disgusted customer. What I don't get is why this bad actor continues to aggravate good people, although they were forced to do business with these clowns if they wanted to lease a Lexus, but isn't there a CEO or someone who is concerned how the company is perceived by customers and the general public. I mean I don't know of another company engaged with the public that is more hated than Lexus Financial Services. It seems like they go out of their way to piss customers off just to use the most over-used corporate number 1 phrase bar none - "I'm sorry you feel that way". For the second time back to back leases they have wrongly reported my account to their Third Party Credit Partner i.e. Collection Agency. They retracted their "mistake" (it wasn't a mistake) but rudely and begrudgingly fixed things by contacting 3 credit companies and getting my account straightened out.

But they did so with a ** attitude. Now here we go again on the 2015 RX350 I turned in and unfortunately leased another 2017 Lexus. I love being abused by these people. I owed them $5781.83 for excessive mileage and some property tax, (which is a scam in itself) according to the letter I received and in the letter my due date was 11/15/2017. I have no dispute with the amount of money they said I owed. I called on the due date to pay the $5781.83. After getting my share of abuse by being transferred multiple times, I'm told my account was moved to their Third Party Credit Partner, the dreaded deadbeat collection agency. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Days later I get the letter from collections dated 11/13/2017!!! Two days BEFORE MY DUE DATE!!! That 11/13/2017 typed on my letter was the day they began writing my letter so no telling how long they had my account before processing my letter.

So would somebody tell me why Lexus Financial Services sold or gave or moved my account to a collection agency BEFORE MY ACCOUNT WAS DUE TO BE PAID??? Why do they constantly and continually piss customers off and then lay low in the weeds like a snake and avoid talking to you. I asked for supervisors multiple times and even left a voicemail on their automated system used for that purpose after waiting on hold for a very long time - all my efforts failed. Nobody again NOBODY CALLED ME BACK. I have been dealing with these --- since that day of 11/15/2017. Today is 11/27/2017. I was filling out forms and investigating my rights on THANKSGIVING DAY!!! I want JUSTICE.

I don’t think this ConsumerAffairs website will do any good either but I'm going to keep telling this story (so much more could be said) until I reach somebody who will make these bad actors stop harassing their customers. BTW My credit rating was one of the highest my salesperson had seen when I leased the current Lexus I have now. IT BETTER BE BACK TO THAT SAME NUMBER. And the amount of time I have logged on this mess is getting higher and higher and my per hour cost is going to be offset against the $5781.83. In fact, they will owe me. Wonder if I should use the same third party credit partner?

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had! I returned a lease vehicle and received a generic form letter that said there was excessive wear, mileage or disposition fee. It said to go to the website to see the details. After much searching and putting in my information, it said the information wasn’t available, and it said to call the 1-800 number. After calling that several times and being on hold for 20-30 min, I finally got to speak to someone who told me “Oh, that’s a different department, let me transfer you,” and was immediately disconnected — twice.

The next time I called I asked for a direct number to call. Once again I was put on hold for 20-30 minutes listening to the same annoying message. When I finally did get to speak to a live person the connection was so bad I could hardly hear what she was saying. She wasn’t overly friendly about my questions nor caring when I recommended she send a complaint up the chain about their terrible phone system and the generic form letter that was obviously incorrect. I expected more from Lexus.

I transferred my lease for my 2016 Lexus when I moved to Manhattan. The process was extremely frustrating. Each time a call was made to Lexus Financial Services a different answer was received. It took much longer than necessary to transfer this lease all the while paying parking fees in Manhattan. Lexus Financial originally sent an important document to an incorrect address, not one I have ever lived at. It was mistake after mistake after mistake. Weeks later I tried to have them complete forms needed to receive a refund on my registration in my state. It took 7 phone calls, from July to November. Each time I was told it would be taken care of. Finally I received the forms and the signature of the rep. was not notarized so they are no good to me.

My brand new Lexus IS 200t was totaled 45 days after I had leased it. Within a week my insurance company AAA Insurance was quoted the payoff amount and submitted the payoff. A month later, Toyota/Lexus Total Loss Department falsely stated that AAA had not submitted the documentation to request title and close the account. Now, over a month after my Lexus was paid off by AAA, and after I demanded they expedite my refund of $875 for the excess wear warrant, and my $450 security deposit, I was told by a "resolution specialist" that the payoff amount quoted to AAA over a month ago was not correct, and AAA owes them a balance of $179.59, and I will not be receiving a refund.

I then told the "resolution specialist" that I had read the hundreds of consumer complaints about Toyota Lexus Financial Services aka RIP-OFF scammers, and I would be submitting a formal complaint to corporate and demanding an internal investigation of the fraud. As soon as I threatened to pursue an internal investigation of the fraud, I was assured that Toyota Financial Services would accept the original quoted payoff amount, and issue me my refunds within 2 days.

They also falsely reported a late payment for the one and only payment I made ON-TIME on May 17th, and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told as usual that "a supervisor isn't available." Every single person so called "customer service representative" who works for Toyota Financial Services and their Total Loss Department are a bunch of incompetent and rude dead heads. It's a total waste of time and effort to call them. I will NEVER lease or purchase another Lexus or Toyota vehicle ever again.

I turned in a leased Lexus ES350 at Rohrich Lexus on 5/2/17. Prior to turning in the vehicle, I had it inspected by a certified body shop. I purchased 4 new tires and made sure the vehicle was in great shape when it was returned to Lexus. I even tried to have the inspector who Lexus uses, come out to do a pre-check of the vehicle, but the 3rd party company made this impossible. Rohrich Lexus told me that when I called the 3rd party inspector, they would get someone out within 1 week. When I called the 3rd party inspector, they said that it would be 3 weeks to a month before someone would check the vehicle.

Prior to turning in the vehicle, I took photos of every angle and the vehicle was in great condition. When I received the bill on 7/31/17, I tried to access the inspection report via the website that was given on the bill statement. When I entered my login information, there was not an inspection report available and I was given a message that I would have to contact the dealership for the report. I am being scammed for $641.16 worth of excessive wear and use charges.

A few years back I purchase a CPO Lexus LS460L. This past November I was fortunate enough to have paid off my vehicle in full. Very satisfied with the vehicle. I decided to keep it since it was paid for. I contacted Lexus Financial Services in regards to the title of my vehicle. The first two months they assured me it was in the mail. After the fourth month I was told my address on file needed to be updated. This struck me as strange because the address where I receive my statements has not changed. I called Lexus Financial again only hear the same story of how it will be in the mail asap. As of today I have still yet to receive the title to a car that I've owned and paid for nearly 8 months. I've read many reviews about this company and it seems like the same issue; poor customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Typically when you first call the people in customer service are helpful, but mainly because all they do is connect you to other people. Which is honestly what happens every time you call, you get connected ten times to never speak to anyone who can help you, and each person has to ask the same questions over and over to say "I'm the wrong dept." I have never been treated so poorly and rudely. I get this is a company out to make money, but this is insane.

I lost everything in a fire a few years ago, and with it was a key fob. After calling and asking for the fee to be waived at the end of the lease, showing evidence of such fire and loss, they told me no. They wouldn't even speak to me about it. They also would never let me speak to a manager (said they don't have any and they report to no one) and then was I asked for the team lead, I was told I wasn't allowed to speak with them and have been hung up on. What is $375 to them? Why is there a fee they are so stuck on for a good reason? Especially when the car being turned in was in excellent shape for them to turn around and lease or sell. This is one of many terrible occurrences dealing with this company. I will never lease a Lexus again, which is unfortunate because the team at the dealership was delightful to work with. I realize this is a small amount to fight for, but it was the last straw of being treated terribly.

Lexus Financial Services is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with and after reviewing almost 40 complaints I see that many others agree. I recently leased a RX350 and signed a lease for four years only to find out about three weeks lately that they would not do a four year lease so it had to be changed to three years. I already paid the first month in January so I went along with it. I was told not to make the February payment but wait for the bill in March. I was assured LFS was aware. Before I received the March bill got a letter that I was already late. Paid the late bill in March the day it arrived only two weeks later to say they were reprocessing if I didn't pay. I call numerous time and they didn't show any payments. They were rude, left messages on my recorder. Never a name though.

Every time I called, they said they would check into but never called back. They immediately went to my credit and ruined it even though they had the money and cashed the check. I had my agent and finance person contact them and they assured them they would straighten it out. Only to get calls, messages and letters to pay what was already paid. Even after calling and they said they would call me back and straightened it out. They never called back, continued to add late fees and never corrected my credit. I paid again on May 1. They sent me a letter with yet another late fee saying now I made 4 payments instead of five with yet another late fee. They are thickheaded, unknowledgeable, unpleasant, rude, just about every one I talk to.

One night I even received a threatening call. That organization should be shut down. They haven't a clue or even care. It took from January to end of May to get it resolved. But now I am supposed to submit something if I want my credit corrected. They ruined it. They need to correct it. They say they would one time, then said they can't. I know that they can. My agent said it is finally correct as of today but I've heard that before. I like Sheehy Dealership but am angered LFS can threaten you when they caused the problem. They are horrible to deal with, never ever called to say things were corrected, no apologies, no letters. They should not be allowed to operate or represent Lexus. Worst company ever to dear with.

One correction, I believe they did call twice, once only to say they would check into the problem but never called back. Never corrected anything. It is amazing to me they can ruin your credit when it is absolutely their fault and they don't fix it. Now I'm told I can mail them something and they will submit it but why bother. They won't know what to do with it. They are worst than worst. I haven't receive a bill in two months now but the last letter had yet another late fee on it. Surprised fully they are actually affiliated with Lexus. Worst uninformed group that I have ever dealt with, Betty.

In all my years this is the worst, the worst experience I have ever had. And after reading all the reviews most feel the same way. LFS are very rude and don't expect any apologies for their incompetence and rudeness. Leased my RX350 in January and it has taken until now, end of May, for them to supposedly straightened out THEIR mess. I paid every month way before due date, by mail and bill pay. They could see the money but didn't know how to apply the money appropriately. They ruined my credit, won't fixed it. Never once called only to leave messages of repossession and nasty messages that I need to called them about my lack of payment. I called the dealership, they tried to intervene with no avail. They ignored them even.

Five months later it is supposedly straightened out. Never once contacted me, never apologized. I absolutely did everything right on my part. In my view, they are horrible, they suck at what they do and give nothing to the credibility of the Lexus name. No return calls, rude, make no effort to help the consumer, don't care if they ruin your credit. They don't help you after they make the mistakes. DO NOT LEASE A CAR FROM LFS UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. NO PRIDE IN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS. Read their reviews. They should be sued for ruining Lexus customer's credit unjustly and unfairly.

That company needs to take courses in customer service. They certainly do not understand that or I wonder if it is that they just don't care??? Who has to reap the benefits of their very poor customer service... Always the customer. What a shame such a large company in the USA could so poorly treat their customers for their own errors and mistakes.

They allowed me to defer my loan the first time, but only twice; each for a maximum period of 1 or 2 months. Yes, that's right, only 1 or 2 months. The thing is; it was a hassle to even get my loan actually deferred. I called the customer representative to help me do it, and when the time came for my next car payment, I saw that I was billed my regular monthly loan amount. I was wondering why. Then I called to do it again the next month. They said it will be deferred but yet again the next month I was charged again. It was so annoying. On the third try, I was able to get it deferred. That's terrible.

What I also didn't like was that I wanted to defer my loan again the next year. They denied my request to get my loan deferred! They didn't go into specifics about the exact reason I couldn't defer; just that I have had too many deferments. If Lexus Financial Services only allows you to defer a loan twice for a period of 1 or 2 months, what the hell is the purpose of having a deferment anyways??? Most college student loans are allowed a deferment for a period of 6 months or more if you are having financial difficulty. This just shows that the business is there to extract as much money as fast as they can from customers; not to serve them.

While the person was on the phone I check my bank account, said payment was made on time, checked my Lexus account and it said the original payment amount due and paid, but yet I was short. I honestly had no clue what was going on.

Then LFS brought to my attention the payment change per the contract. Oh yeah, yeah I acknowledge this but they had no concept that they had a fiduciary responsibility to change the amount due on my account to reflect the new payment amount, nope, they just kept deducting the original amount. Then LFS said, I was supposed to inform them of the new payment amount. From month 2 of the contract I did auto deduct. Never and I mean never once did I receive a "monthly statement" from LFS and I still don't. They just keep deducting the original amount since then. And my cussing and swearing at them, oh what do you know I have statements showing up online, but not in the mail. You know what, Lexus - nice cars, overrated - many others out there just as nice. ALL lease contracts have the terms and conditions spelled out clearly, and a lease is VERY SPECIFIC in its requirements. If there is an end of lease charge, IT'S IN THE CONTRACT, if there is a mileage limit, IT'S IN THE CONTRACT, if the car has damage, YOU HAVE TO FIX IT, the car is NOT YOURS! I returned my 2015 Lexus this month, 2 year lease with 7500 mile limit per year, with 14700 miles. The car had NORMAL wear and tear, no overt damage, no accidents ever. I was charged the $350 turn in fee, AND NOTHING ELSE. A little over three years ago I financed a car from Lexus finance. For three years I paid them consistently never made any late payments or missed a payment. July 2016 I paid of the whole amount of the car before the maturity date. The amount I paid was almost $12,000. Lexus said once I paid this my account will be closed and I will have no more payments, which is what happened. They sent me the title of the car and closed my account. Around August 2016 they sent me a check of $600, which I cashed thinking that it was overpayment money. Well around October they send me a bill of the 600$ plus interest. Once I got in contact with them and asked them why I was being charged, they said I was not suppose to cash that check and I had 10 days to pay them back with the interest.

Upset and all about their mistake, as soon as I got off the phone with them I payed the $600 plus interest. They said if I paid that my account will be closed once again, which it was. Well two months later I received another bill of $14 for interest charge to be payed by December 10. I paid it. But called Lexus finance immediately trying to find out why I had to pay them more interest if the account was once again closed when I payed the $600 plus the interest. They responded that I had a past balance due of $623. Surprised and upset I asked them where is the $623 coming from if I paid everything I owed and then the mistake they did I paid it back with interest. I still haven't got an answer from them. Every time I get in contact with them they are never able to tell me why I have to pay $623 and where it's coming from. They just say it is a past due balance.

I have gotten in contact with them numerous times and no one is able to give me an answer. I have collection calling me multiple times a week trying to collect that money, and also in my credit report they put that I made a late payment to them when that is a not true. I have never made a late payment and I have always taken care of my credit and it is upsetting and frustrating that they are accusing me of owing them more money and have collection harassing me for money I do not owe them. I have never been sent to collection so you can see why I am disappointed and upset about this. I payed Lexus finance everything I owed them and even when they made a mistake I paid them back with interest. My account was closed and now again two months later here they are again opening my account for an amount of money I do not owe them.

Also customer service is not helpful or has told me where the money is coming from. I haven't received not one phone call from them to address to issue horrible services. It is upsetting that I have to deal with Lexus finance trying to steal money from me and ruin my credit when for the past three years I paid them an incredible amount of money over $30,000. I never once paid late and they have made my life a living hell since I paid off the full amount of the car before the maturity date.

Over the last 15 years I have leased or purchased approximately 8 Toyota Camrys, and for the last three years my husband and I have EACH had one. In July I turned in one Camry and leased another. Not long after I began getting calls on my cell from a number not familiar to me, so I did not answer the phone. They did not leave any messages. Three weeks later, I finally answered and was told that the dealer had not paid off my previous Camry, that it was my responsibility to pay and that they had reported me to the credit bureaus. For more than 15 years, I have never missed a payment on any of my Toyotas, and now I have a ding on my credit. I asked why they hadn't left a message and they told me that they are not allowed to leave any kind of message, by law. I know this to be a lie. I called my dealer who took care of it. The calls finally ceased.

This month, I turned in another Camry and leased a new one. The calls are already starting. They tell me that it is not their responsibility to speak with the dealer, that it is mine, which does not seem like good customer service. They tell me that they can see that I turned in the car, but the dealer is not paying off the car. So, again, I call my dealer.

Two more phone calls have come in since I called the dealer. I try to explain everything again, without using any curse words - how I have been a loyal customer for 15 years, how I have never been late for a payment, and how I do not find this to be good customer service. And by the way, can't they go back and see my good record? In the middle of the second phone call today the young woman told me - "Oh, I see that the dealer has made a payment." "Well," I say, "isn't that something you should look at before you call me on my cell at work?" "Oh," she says, "We're not allowed to look at your report before we call you."

So, great job Toyota Lexus Financial. Your customer service is stunning. And I mean that with absolutely no part of my rational mind. You have terrible practices: You don't leave messages, you file credit reports on customers who have never missed a payment, you don't allow your employees to look up information prior to making a call and you don't communicate FIRST with the dealer. I will never, ever, ever buy another Toyota or Lexus. Which makes me sad, because I love the cars and I love my dealer. But you sure know how to drive away a loyal customer - pun intended.

In the event there is another issue I never want to have to contact them again.

Hello, I have been dealing with Lexus financial for a week and still have no resolution. When I originally leased my vehicle I was told that my contract stated that my miles allotment was 15,000 miles per year for a two year term equating a total of 30,000 miles for the term. Recently, on July 20th, I contacted Lexus financial to confirm this. As I spoke to the first rep, I was informed that my lease is for a TOTAL of 15,000 for the two year term. That's 625 miles per month! That's basically good enough to drive to the pharmacy and back. After explaining to the representative that has to be a mistake or asking if I can I purchase more miles, she said we do not offer to buy more miles and you are responsible for the excess miles at 25 cents per mile and there's nothing they can do as I signed the contract.

Then I was transferred to a customer resolution specialist (his name of was Gentri) who then after some research said that my lease for 15,000 mile PER YEAR and the system is not reflecting the proper information and he will make the necessary changes which will take 2 days and he will notate the account for the changes. He assured me that changes will go through and not to worry! On July 22nd (two days later) I called and they said it has not been changed and the issue was forwarded to a higher department to make the changes and it will take another 24-48 hrs and I will get a phone call when the changes apply. On July 26th, I called again to follow up only to be told that the department that was suppose to make the change did not approve it and my lease agreement says 15,000 miles for the full term of the lease. No one called me to say it was not changed!

If I did not call myself to follow up how would I have known it was not approved?! If I gave the car back with 30,000 (15,000 per year x 2 years lease =30,000 miles) I would have $3750 in overage fees. The rep told me that she apologizes for the previous rep who gave me wrong information. I was then transferred to a supervisor (named Jovan) who also told me that she apologizes for the previous rep and their is nothing she can do. How is it that a consumer calls in to a financial customer service and be told the wrong information that would cost me thousands of dollars in fees and all I get is a "sorry"! Sorry doesn't cut it when it's costing me money!

I have been lied and deceived and no resolution from Lexus financial or Lexus customer satisfaction. Only suggestions I was given by Lexus was go to a dealership, which are all privately owned and see if they can do anything or just pay the overage fees myself at the end of the lease. NO HELP, NO SUPPORT. JUST LIES! THEY PROMISES ONE THING AND THEN THEY DON'T DELIVER.

Hello, I leased a 2014 Lexus IS250 for 27 months. I returned the car in pristine condition 500 miles under my allowance of 22500 miles. When I returned the car the dealership told me that I will have to pay a $350 deposition and they will send a bill for it. I was aware of this fee as I had been told about it when leasing the car, no issue thus far. So after about a month and a half of not receiving any bills or follow ups I call LFS and the rep. told me that the dealership has decided to buy and flip the car, in such cases you do not have to pay the disposition fee. I was like wow awesome. So after about a month from my contact with LFS I get a surprise bill. $350 disposition fee and a $250 excessive wear and tear charge. I call LFS up immediately and explain the situation about my previous communication with their representative and they basically tell me "No you will have to pay the disposition fee and wrong info was given to you."

I asked about the $250 wear and tear charge and she tells me it's because of over mileage. I told her I returned the car 500 miles under my allowance (and I have proof, image attached) and she puts me on hold and comes back and says "No I'm sorry. It's for a dent." which the car had none; it did not even have a scratch (again I told her I have images of all around the card) and she puts me on hold again and comes back again saying "I'm sorry but the charge is for a problem with the right front tire!" Unbelievable!!! So after getting frustrated again she tells me "The department you need to talk to is closed right now and call them tomorrow." which I'm doing right now. Please read other reviews and decide for yourself, but I know I will be staying away from Lexus/Toyota for good (at least their financial services). Even if I buy I will go through my bank, not LFS/TFS.

We returned our IS250 2014 Lexus on time and after they did their inspection they sent us a bill for $2563.37!! I was beyond belief and was told that the bill was correct. I have since called 8 times and spoke to many different representatives. The only thing they did for me was deduct $55.00. After paying on time for 27 months and using the car for that time there were a few scratches and markings on the car but I made sure I got it fixed before I returned it. I did go over the mileage but was never told it would be $0.25 cents per mile so of course that charge was $1200.00. I was aware of the disposition fee of $350 and was not surprised but to my disbelief I am being charged for 2 BRAND NEW TIRES!!

The car was returned with 27,000 miles on it and I know that tires last more than that amount of time. I HAVE NEVER heard of anything like this and am so upset that I have to pay the bill or it will affect my credit! My parents and I have leased other cars in the past even from Toyota and never paid anywhere close to the amount they are demanding from me. I have already alerted friends and family that this is the way that LEXUS conducts their business and not to ever do business with them. They did give me a payment plan but it has to be paid in full in 5 months. I am also calling and writing a letter to the corporate office. I will never do business with Lexus again.

The lease was completely paid up! The mileage was way under the allowed amount. I talked to Lexus Financial Services and there was no mention of more costs.

Today two months later I get a bill for $694.16! Disposition Fee and excessive wear and tear! Believe me, I could have sold that car for more than $1,000 more than the buy out cost. They did not inform me of these charges at the time of the turn into the dealership of their choice. I would have kept the car and made money. Is there a Class Action suit to represent all of us who were and being overcharged? After 2 months, how can they prove excess wear and tear? They said they would send me a photo of someone's tire. Lexus financial services are ripping off their customers. I did a 26 month prepaid lease with Lexus. Turned the car in 3 months early, so Lexus not only got the car back with very low mileage, but was able to reap the benefits of me turning the prepaid car in early. The day I turned the car in I purchased another car at the same dealership. Two months later I receive a bill from Lexus Financial Services saying I owe them $350 for a disposition fee because I did not lease another car from them nor finance the new car with them. No one mentioned this fee when I leased the initial car... And to add insult to injury, I received this bill on 2/27/16 with a payment date of 3/14/16. Not even allowing a month to pay the bill.

I pleaded my case with Tustin Lexus dealership, Lexus Financial, and even called Lexus corporate. Corporate tried to get Lexus Financial service to waive this charge, but to no avail. Seems there is a total disconnect between dealership, corporate, and the rip off Financial Service Dept. So now I call to pay this "extortionistic" bill that said I could pay by phone with any credit or debt card. They put me on hold 4 times to transfer me to different associates - which took 1/2 an hour. Then tell me I cannot pay the bill with my credit card nor debit card because it was a Visa and needed to be a mastercard. I said "that is interesting, I have a Lexus credit card that is through Visa." Someone needs to investigate these "clowns". They are ripping consumers off.

During the phone call I cleared told them that I moved and have changed my address, and double checked with them that they knew I've changed my address.

Then I waited for almost 25 more days and heard nothing. I called their customer support asking where my title was. They told me California DMV would issue me the title but not them, and they had no idea where the title is. I then asked what the phone number is to reach DMV and who I should contact to get the status of my title. The customer representative told me he didn't know. I was so pissed off by their customer support. My car is now still parked somewhere near the border on the US side and I'm still paying for the parking every day.

My issue was finally resolved. Of course, in an ideal setting, it could have been resolved without having to go through this long lasting turmoil with LFS, but I am grateful at this point that it got resolved in both of our favors after all. What could be better than happy returning clients! Therefore, I updated my stars. I think LFS must consider revising their policies and making them more comprehensive for customers and trying to be a little "less-corporate".

    Original Review: Dec. 14, 2015

I contacted Lexus FS twice prior to returning my 2014 RX350 to Keyes dealership in Van Nuys (another HORRIBLE Lexus dealership). I specifically asked 2 questions: 1) whether they sell mileage at a discounted price (like BMW or Audi), 2) if they would waive my last 3 payments if I got another Lexus. Both times I was told they didn't sell discounted mileage, and I did qualify for payment waiver. So, based on what I was told, I went ahead and purchased another RX350, 2015 before I returned my old one.

Today I called them to let them know that I returned my vehicle on December 5, 2015 and to give them heads up. Well, here is the catch: I still had to make the last 3 payments because I did not purchase the 2nd vehicle at the time of returning the old one. Did anyone EVER mention this to me as a condition for a waiver? NO. I asked them to pull my previous 2 conversations and they told me that I did not ask a specific question so they gave a general answer to a general question. Moreover, I still have to pay $350.00 disposition fee even though I have a new Lexus because, once again, I did not obtain it at the same time of the return, add the over mileage. I am about to have a heart attack. This is a cheap shot by Lexus FS for a valued customer like me who got two Lexus vehicles, who has a credit score over 800, who never had a late payment.

I told them how could a dealership promise something they cannot keep? They told me they were not responsible for what dealerships promise or guarantee. I asked them how was that possible if the dealerships act from Lexus FS behalf and they should follow their guidelines? They said they do not answer for dealerships. They follow strict guidelines and policies. This is a total absurd. I am at a loss and so angry that I am going to seek legal advice as to how to return my new vehicle and simply NEVER deal with Lexus FS again. This is such a low-balling that I am speechless. I wish I read all the reviews here before I considered buying a Lexus. HORRIBLE, DISHONEST, MISGUIDING, AND CHEAP SHOTS...

I then set up automatic payments, or so I thought.

On July 24, I received a late night call from Lexus Financial stating that I had an account past due for more than one month, so they had placed a mark against my credit and were requesting payment. I told them I made a payment on July 6, but they said that the bank could not find the account, so the payment was declined. Lexus did not notify me by email or phone or letter. They said they telephoned me, but left no message when I did not answer. This is for my "security."

On July 24, I made two payments to be withdrawn from my bank account. Yet their website still says payment is still overdue. I have tried to call them repeatedly. Unbelievably, after holding for more than 6 minutes on one call, and 8 minutes on the next, the line is simply disconnected by Lexus. The third call they simply state on their recording that they are "unable to take your call."

How is one to do business with a company that has such poor customer service that one cannot contact them in order to make a payment? This is unbelievably short-sighted of this company. I was also told to write a letter to appeal the negative mark against my credit which was reported by these jerks to the credit agencies. I can imagine how this company will simply trash all mailed correspondence, because they have no "customer service." DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I wish that I had used my credit union. The closest dealership is over 150 miles away in Mobile. Last week, my car wouldn't start. Roadside assistance came and said it wasn't the battery so the car would need to be towed to Mobile. I called roadside assistance again and requested that the vehicle be towed, which required an authorization.

I asked that the rep call the Mobile Lexus location to request the authorization and he preceded to add a service rep from the dealership onto our call. He told me he would have the car towed but it that it would require a corporate authorization for a tow back. I also asked for a loaner and was declined, but he did say to get an Enterprise rental and they would attempt a refund. I did without a car, not confident that I would be reimbursed, and waited for my car to be repaired. The dealership called once the repair was completed and told me that Lexus Corporate denied the reimbursement for the tow but they, as the dealership would pay for it without payment from me.

Although the Mobile, Alabama dealer was courteous, my fear is what happens in the future. If we keep our vehicles through our lease, one of the two is surely to breakdown. I want resolution in writing that Lexus will tow, repair and reimburse for rental through the life of our lease. We leased two Lexus vehicles, over $100,000, in one day. We should not be penalized just because Lexus doesn't have procedures or better yet, a dealership closer to us. I am requesting a call from Corporate. I am not a complainer, just want resolution after spending for a luxury car and getting non-luxury service. I have owned many Mercedes and BMWs and never had these issues. I would like to express my frustration and utter disappointment with Lexus Financials. I called a month ago to check on the process to sell the vehicle that they have a lien on, the customer rep explain based on his believe (they don't have a written procedure for that) and the procedure sounded very long and almost impossible to get the vehicle to sell to a private party if the vehicle is not paid off at the point of private sale. So I decided to pay off the vehicle and get the title, especially when the customer service informed me the process will take from 10 days to 30 days for me to receive.

I proceeded and sent the payment overnight to expedite the payment (cashier check). However, though they got the check and cashed it out on July 3, the title has yet to be mail out to me. I called them today (July 28) and they said, it will take up to 2 months to receive, that a total of 3 months after I paid off the vehicle. I see Lexus/Toyota financial holding the vehicle "Legally" all this time and they should be responsible for the depreciation especially when I got several offers to buy the vehicle but can't proceed because of the missing title. They have basically taken my money to pay off the vehicle and refuse to release my vehicle. Based on above frustrations and poor efficiency in their system, I give Lexus/Toyota financial process and management a ZERO star if that possible. However the customer service rep were polite and tried to help but there is nothing they can do since there is no efficiency in their system and my situation is left unresolved.

We wanted a brand new ES350 the next day after the purchase of the 2007 vehicle, but the dealership refused to do so. We were planning on purchasing a brand new ES or LS in 2013, but now this incident with Nicole and the salespeople at Santa Monica Lexus have turned us completely off from any further Lexus purchases. We're extremely disappointed with the service we've received from the dealership as well as LFS.

I returned my leased car 3 months early with 12,000 less miles than contract. Dealer told me tires were fine and then I get a bill after turn in for $871.50 for tires. They reduced it to $651.50 but I do not feel this is fair. The car was in very nice shape.

I am Personal Representative for my Father and Mother's Estate. I had covered completely with Lexus Financial the fact that they had both passed away and that we were returning the vehicle. I instructed the bank to not pay the automatic payment anymore as the final payment had been paid just before my mother;s death on November 9, 2007. My mother could not drive, the car had very few miles on it, and would be considered a cream puff. I offered to buy the car, but Lexus wanted to much for it ($28,000 I was told). The bank official did not follow my instructions, and the next payment was made on November 19 for $484.98. I notified Lexus Financial about this and was asked to forward all my identification by fax to a girl named Dawn. She wanted death certificates, tax ID number, Testamentary etc. I did that. Tonight I received a call saying I would not get the money returned. I have a total pit in my stomach. I have owned 6 straight Lexus automobiles.

This makes me furious to say the least. Also, my folks owned two Lexus vehicles before this one we are speaking of. I would recommend they do the right thing and refund the money. To say I am upset is a complete understatement.

Lexus financial agreed to defer my car payment. They sent me the necessary forms which I completed with a check. The form didn't have an address. I called Lexus, and was told it was okay. They had an agreement with the post office which allow the mail to be sent to Lexus. (2)wks. passed and Lexus had not cashed my check. I called them, they said they sent the wrong form, it should have had an address, now it's your choice what you want to do you only have (2)days before the payment due date. Which would be late if I mailed it.

I told them this is not my fault can you extend the date, something help me out. I did what was asked of me. After going around with (4)different rude people. I spoke to Adam who said he was an supervisor. He had me fax a copy of the form (which I had made for my records)to him and I gave him my check info. Lexus cashed my check. And are now calling me everyday for a week, saying although they see the notes from Adam, they don't have the form, they don't know who he is, and even though they cashed my check, they are going to come and take my vehicle. Isn't the money binding?
