Saw tires online at the Goodyear website for $219.00 each. Called the local Goodyear store and they had them in stock. The store wrote up the tires at $240.99 each. I told them they were $219.00 currently online but they would not honor the price even tho Goodyear policy is to price match. Be aware that the stores are much higher than what the website lists and they will act stupid about prices matching their own price. Do not purchase from the store.

Brought in my 06 Dakota for a O2 Sensor repair after failing state inspection. Code P0058. I declined the diagnostic check as the emissions report stated that the sensor Bank 2 sensor 2 was faulty. I picked up my truck and continued home. After getting home I checked and the sensor was changed in Bank 1 Sensor 2. The store is closed Sat and Sun. Opinions looking at the paper work there is no info on the location of the 02 sensor change. But they were sure to list the tire depth of my tires. Clearly looking to push a up service.

I foolishly allowed these so called Technicians to change my spark plugs and coils. The fact that I had to call back multiple times like pulling teeth just to find this out was ridiculous. I should have trusted my gut and took my car to the dealership, but I previously had oil change and minor things done there so figured oh these are professionals they can change spark plugs. I drove my car there perfectly fine, it was not making any noise, jerked a few times, but no weird noises. Definitely didn’t smell like gas/exhaust in the car. They claimed they couldn’t get an old spark plug off and had to contact another store, wow what! Still waiting for the District Manager to contact me! They played me for a fool for real.

Now my car sounds like a motorcycle when started and smells of gas and exhaust. Didn’t even have the nerve to put the coil back on the spark plug so I could at least drive it to the real professionals to check and fix, instead I’m stuck with paying tow fees. Estimate coming your way Goodyear. I’m actually praying that there is no other damage, but these folks need to be held accountable, hire people with experience or just be honest and say we don’t have a tech with the experience to service your car. Oh and let’s not forget how they lied on the invoice claiming that they told me all this stuff when they didn’t, making it appear as if I decline all this work to be done when this sales dude only told me three things that need to be done, I accepted the two spark plugs and coils- declined the 3rd. Yet you look at the invoice added all this extra stuff claiming that they discussed with me. It’s clearly.

We took our BMW to Goodyear for a review of a strange sound. The car was driving fine otherwise. They told us it would be $1800 to fix it. That was September 29th. We were told it was fixed, quite a few times. We paid them over $6,000 after they changed the price again and again. They still didn't fix it. Each time we went to pick it up and each time the car performed worse than before. Once, the car didn't start at all. All they kept saying was that "...a BMW is a very different kind of car...". If they were not qualified to fix it, they should not have taken our money. We would like a refund for the labor so that we can take it to a specialist. This is mid-December and they still have our car. To make it worse, they are now asking for more money and the car is sitting off at the end of the parking lot, exposed to the elements. This is unacceptable. Can you help us?

I have been a loyal customer of Goodyear Tire /Goodyear Auto Service store (6950 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tennessee) for SEVEN years. There aren't enough words to express how truly satisfied I am with the service I've received at this particular Goodyear Tire location, but also with its previous Store Manager, ** (who has retired), AND now, the new Store Manager, Mr. **! He listened attentively to the issues I was worried about relating to mysterious sounds in my car. He showed kindness (and patience) as I was attempting to explain things. But equally important is the depth and breadth of his vehicle maintenance background, which is over 15 years! My endorsement of this Goodyear Store at Lee Highway, Chattanooga 37421, AND its Store Manager, Mr. **, AND their terrific mechanics, is wholehearted.

Bottom line: I have trusted these experts for seven years, for ALL of my auto servicing needs, and will continue to do so. Goodyear Tire Store is far more than "just tires." It is also, and equally-important, for a company to not only perform full service, but have kindhearted experts who will respect you and provide answers and remedy through their deep-level expertise. My car now runs at peak performance and not more mysterious sounds.

They know I'm waiting so I go sit in the waiting area. After 4 pm, I'm called to check out. I complain about the amount of time that I've had to sit here and I had an appointment. He acts as if he doesn't know anything about an appointment and they have my check-in time at a much later time so that it looks like I haven't been there as long as I actually had. To add insult to injury, the price is nowhere near the discussed price. The guy was basically like, "Well I don't know who you talked to." Then I showed him that the quoted price was the same price online. He tells me that the extra fee was for oil beyond the 5 quarts, my engine takes 5.1 quarts.

Are you telling me the an additional 0.1 quarts takes the advertised price of 64.99 + tax to 99.99 + tax? He never did actually explain to me why I was being overcharged. Plus they advertise free tire rotation with oil change services and I didn't get that either. The free tire rotation was one of the selling points that made me choose them over others. I left with my back hurting from sitting in that chair for so long, angry for being cheated and overcharged and downright pissed that after all that they didn't even rotate my darn tires. They offered me a "free oil change" for the next time. My vehicle did not run well and I took it right back the next day. My vehicle has not run well since taking it there. These guys lie to your face and have no consciences at all. They probably never changed the oil, but they did change the sticker and the sticker is only out to a 3-month period which means they obviously did not provide me with a full synthetic service as requested. ATTN WIDOWS AND WOMEN. BEWARE of Levin Tire (Good Year) in Highland IN on Indianapolis Blvd. I went there on Saturday, July 15, 2023 because my normal guy isn’t open on Saturdays. I was told they don’t take appointments and it’s first come first serve. There were 4 people in front of me. So, I decided to wait. The wait turned out to be 3.5 hours to get a tire sealed. They charged me $63 to seal the tire. I left with 38 lbs of air in the tire. Sunday, I woke up to a tire that had lost air back down to 25 lbs. So, I put air in it to get me through the day. Go back to Levin Tire on Monday and again, first come first serve, they put air in the tire so I could make it to a Dr's appointment and returned after my appointment and waited another 2.5 hours. This time they told me they sealed the air valve. On Tuesday, I wake up with a tire with air pressure it was lower than it was on Saturday when all this started.

I go back to Levin Tire and tell them it’s even lower than it was on Saturday. Then they start telling me I’m going to need to buy 2 new tires @ $400 because it’s an AW drive vehicle and both front tires should be replaced at the same time. Also, they said both of the rear tires will need to be replaced in a couple of months. When the air valve sealant didn’t work they said they would give me a refund for the $63 or give me a credit on the tires if I bought them. I went back on Tuesday later in the day and asked for the refund and was told the girl that did that leaves at 4:00 and they would have her take care of that tomorrow. I called back Wednesday and again I got the runaround. I still haven’t heard back from anyone.

By the way, my guy fixed the issue for $40 and saw NO evidence of there ever being any new sealant on the valve. Since my husband passed away, I am tired of being taken advantage of and have learned to stick up for myself. So, ladies I would BEWARE of Levin Tire and Goodyear tire because neither stand behind their employees or what they try selling unless you want to be taken advantage of.

Goodyear Rebates program is a scam. They scammed my 74 year old mother with an offer to buy 4 tires and get $100 in rebate. This purchase could have been done online or in person at any Goodyear auto service center according to the promotion. "2022 NPP4 Goodyear Keep Moving Ahead Rebate Promotion 10/1/2022-12/31/2022"

My mother chose to buy the tires online and to pay with her newly open Goodyear account. She was able to open the account thanks to her credit history. She opened a new line of credit with Goodyear and got her Good Year credit card, which she used to ordered the 4 tires and this purchase made her to qualify for the rebate. But Instead of keeping its word, Goodyear is after your money and it does not matter who you are, so this company called Goodyear lies and scams and steals from anyone, no matter what. How? Goodyear sets roadblocks on the way to have the busy working class struggle by demanding documents that do not exist in the first place because the order was DONE online.

We cannot force any Goodyear Auto Service Center to provide us with a receipt because first, it was an online purchase, second we cannot force the store clerk/manager to provide one. The store gave my mother an invoice showing the work done and we submitted it to the program at the address specified by Goodyear Rebate program: https://www.goodyearrebates.com/existing/ Sometime later, in the middle of the process, they communicated my mother that she needed to provide a copy of a paper receipt but the purchased was done online and the store did not give my mother a receipt because it only performed the installation.

My mother did not buy from the store, she bought her tires online and had her statement from Goodyear. During the online purchasing, she was aware that she was getting the rebate, she qualified because of the purchase and she did all is required to apply for the Goodyear credit card, purchase qualifying rebate tires and submitting the paperwork required on time. Because there was no receipt, I submitted the Goodyear Credit Card statement PDF showing the purchase, charged to my mother's newly opened credit card. However, we know now that she was fooled and scammed $100, made to purchased 4 tires to later never give her the rebate offered by Goodyear.

I am copying and pasting this facts to alert and complaint all over the internet because I must alert the people of the world the deceiving tactics of Goodyear so that anyone who reads my review can be spare from this criminal organization called Goodyear and its rebate fictitious program that allows thief and scammer employees take advantage of the public to fat up the vaults of the Goodyear CEO, so that he can have an easy life.

Before my mother choose Goodyear, we argue about it and I strongly advise my mother to visit Wal-Mart and get Cooper tires, but my mother likes Goodyear and she service her vehicle at the service center where her vehicle four new tires were installed. I will never go to this store and I will never do any business with this company and I hope that my mother never ever returns to the store and hopefully cancels and close her Goodyear credit card account.

MounatinViewTire and Auto Service 34-700 Monterey Ave in Palm Desert CA failed to honor the road hazard warranty I purchased with my Goodyear tires. The tire had sidewall damage, about a one-half-inch slit in the rubber that leaked. Since I have a Chevy Volt with no spare, I used an inflator to do a temporary repair until I could reach the tire dealer. When I arrived the staff immediately tried to discourage me from seeking warranty coverage. It was claimed that since the tire was not visibly leaking the warranty requirement was not met. However, I did have to use a temporary repair inflator which accounted for the obvious temporary repair.

The inner sidewall was exposed and the structural integrity of the tire was compromised. Since the manager would not honor the warranty, I had to purchase a new replacement at full cost. At this point, I declined to buy another warranty because a valid claim had just been denied. I would recommend not using this dealer and seeking out one that responsibly honors the warranties they sell to people.

The manager and I were able to go over some things today and come to a resolution. I was wrong about some things and Bill, the store manager, was kind and patient with me in walking me through the work performed. I was compensated for the alignment program and they gained some trust from me, a new customer.

    Original Review: Aug. 10, 2021

What a mess. Yesterday I setup an online appointment for tires and oil change. Today, when I arrived for my appointment I decided to also get an alignment and have brakes inspected. I received a call later stating that front pads needed to be replaced. I was quoted costs and approved of the repair. I was also offered some "100k mile" fluid exchanges. Again I was quoted and again I verbally approved for the work to be performed. I received another phone call about an hour later from a mechanic at the service center stating that the rear diff fluid could not be changed as it did not have vacuum ports and that it would cost an additional $80 to repair as they would have to remove the ten bolts for the diff cover and replace the gasket. It was at this point that I declined the service.

My vehicle was ready approximately 8 hours after dropping it off. I arrived and spoke with the same person I had earlier. They stated that they did find a way to exchange the fluid in the rear diff. Ok, great. I paid my bill and headed home. New brake pads were great and the new tires improved driveability. I was happy. Of course I get home and I can't help myself. I just have to check the oil, looks good, definitely changed. I see brake fluid reservoir and uh oh, the fluid is well below the full step. It hasn't been touched despite having paid $110 for the service. Ok, probably a mistake. I then look at the power steering fluid reservoir, again, hasn't been touched. The fluid is the same as when I brought it in, new fluid is RED, not reddish brown. Ok, another $100 for nothing.

I slide under the rear end to look at the diff, it hasn't been touched and there is no way to access the fluid except the traditional 10 bolt cover. Another $200 charge, again for nothing. I also paid for a fuel injection system treatment which I have no way of knowing was performed, but based on all of the other services in this "fluid exchange package" not being performed and having been lied to directly to my face I think it's safe to assume it was not. Also, when I checked the invoice I wasn't charged for an alignment, but was charged for a 3 year alignment program ($155). That is not a service I asked for and I should have been made aware of that. To fellow consumers I would advise you to only use the service center's basic offerings (tires, oil and brakes) and avoid any additional services offered. Hopefully I can get this resolved with little to no headache, but regardless these are despicable practices.

Well 4 came around car wasn’t done so I sat, watched and the car wasn’t done till 4:40 which why would you make an appointment if you have to wait 3+ hours for tires???

I was happy though till I saw it costed 600 dollars after the insurance and labor on each tire but whatever. The thing that floors me is that right after I left I stopped for coffee and as I was walking out to the parking lot I noticed they literally forgot a lug nut but not only that closer inspection they completely mangled the stud to the point where I’ll have to get it replaced now.

I show up the next day and told them what happened and the gentleman tells me that he can’t fit me in that day or even the rest of the week...That’s the service you get for paying 600 dollars to these kinda shops I guess. I also tried to write a review on Google and come to find out they turned off the ability for people to write reviews, I wonder why. First time and last time I’ll ever go to a Goodyear. We have an 07 PT cruiser and had a problem with the air. There was none. Took it to Goodyear Auto at Chapel Hill in Akron and had fan replaced. Was ok for a few days then car started overheating. Come to find out fan went bad. That quick call and was told it would be 3 weeks before I could bring it in and if it was that important I’d wait. Not a nice person. It was warranty work so called the state RD Goodyear and took it there and the next day was informed there was need for a complete overhaul of the system when all that was bad was the fan. So realizing age of vehicle I opted to change it all at a cost of 1300.00. Got it back 3 days later. Was ok for 2 days and then no air.

So called and took it back a 2nd time. More parts needed after I was told all was replaced. Kept it 2 days got it back and over the course for 2 days no air. Took it back again. No 3 time. Was told gaskets need replaced when I was told it was a complete repair. This time lasted 5 hours. Called, took it back. Called claimed need more parts. Have it back next day. Didn’t happen. Didn’t even call us to tell us they were keeping it. Get a call at 415 and was asked if I was coming to get my car and we told them we didn’t even get any kind of call period so on the way to get it now. Got my fingers crossed. Funny thing is I already got the bill and they had the car longer than us. I won’t go back there for this problem anymore and feel we need compensation for all the aggravation. Thanks for reading.

Goodyear review. Warranty of Goodyear is tricky, never spend extra money for it before you read the note below! I bought Goodyear tires in April 2018 with 65000 mileage warranty for $600 ( invoice attached). There was bunch of the offers $399 for 4 tires, with 30000 mileage warranty on the other places (stores). Person, named George, who sold it to me, told that, warranty will be valid if you come back for rotation every 5000 mileage. When I came back first time after 5000, he wanted me to come back another day, then, when I came back another day, according the schedule made by him, he forced me to wait long time (2-3 hours) like he is busy with other customers. I think it happened to me, because, it was free of charge service by warranty.

After, what happened to me, I hated to go there again and I went to another place for rotation. Just keep my tires in good condition. My tires got worst in 32000 mileage anyway. It is BOLD now. I called, to Goodyear corporate office 3 times, e-mailed them, went to service 2 times. Finally, after all, they offered me to pay half price: $300 for 4 tires, and told me that, I have to come for rotation each 5000 mileage, no matter what happens, if I want to get warranty. I told ok and asked them: if I will come for rotation every 5000 mile, will I get warranty? Answer: no! She said: "You will pay for mileage anyway."

As I understand: each mileage cost $ 0.009, which means if tires get worst, customers have to pay difference of mileage depending how long they last, so, it is kind of TRICKY. Customers have to pay anyway. And in total, customers get same mileage of tires, for much more high price and wasting time, nerves and get headaches. Result: If I bought tires for $399 with 30000 mileage warranty from any other places, I would save my nerves, time, money and I would not have to go back for rotation to have headache. Trust me, never go for more mileage or warranty with Goodyear, go for regular tires with 30000 mileage. Good luck to everyone.

I know without a doubt they did something wrong or installed a faulty tire. I should not have to replace a tire that never functioned properly. Do Not Purchase from Good Year!!!!

I purchased 4 brand new tires like 3 - 4 months ago. I kept having to put air in them at least once a week. Every time I went there I was brushed off about why my tires needed so much air. According to one of the technicians, it was because I needed an alignment. Got the alignment and problem continued. Come to find out, one of my tires had a nail in it. I went back to Goodyear and was given run around about the nail and never got it removed. Thank god there are other tire shops that are more than willing to help out and that is how I resolved my problem. The techs there are lazy and good for nothing. Never will buy tires there again. It's the Goodyear Tire and Service Shop in Spring Valley off of Hwy 94 on Sweetwater Springs Blvd across from the 711. You guys suck!!!!

Back in February 2019 - I had a complete rear brake overhaul done (calipers, rotors, pads and brake fluid change) along with an oil change. Total bill came out to $1,125 - parts were marked up over 100% OEM I could have bought myself - and were either remanufactured or inferior quality over OEM. I had also asked for an alignment as I had the 3-year alignment package during a prior repair (they said wheel bearing replacement require it - I doubt that's the case) - but they never provided the alignment paperwork showing that the work was done as any other auto shop would provide. So my guess is they never did the alignment. 150 miles later the oil light came on. They never changed the oil. Took it back and they finally did the oil change.

Now 28,000 miles later (of mostly highway driving) - I'm getting a grinding noise from the rear brakes. The rotors are scored - likely from contaminants in the brake pad material. But with a 24,000 mile brake job warranty - I'm out of luck. The original brakes and the last brake job I did myself I got nearly 60,000 miles out of them. I only went to Goodyear because it was in the middle of winter.

Finally, this summer I brought the car in for a new wheel hub bearing and state inspection. They said they didn't do the inspection because the 'check engine' light went on. They cleared the code and as a result - the car idled/ran rough for about a week until the car could 'relearn' its ignition timing after a number of warm-up cycles. I had to get the inspection done elsewhere which was done without any issues. I also asked them to check the alignment. Again no paperwork - they said that the tires are worn evenly so there wasn't no need. So again - they didn't bother putting it up on the alignment rack.

I have to say - never again will I use Goodyear. I should have known better and done it myself. Either the employees are completely incompetent, purposely not doing work customers are paying for and/or the shop management is overlooking these issues. The cost of parts is almost double what you would pay if you bought them yourself from a parts store such as NAPA.

I ordered four tires on Goodyear website for Maserati (Model - Levante) and selected Goodyear auto service center (41 S Dean St, Englewood, NJ 07631) for installation. I dropped the car on Thursday, 3rd October for the tire change. When I went to pick up, all the four rims were significant damaged. I also sent the pictures of the damaged rims to the supervisor for the record and he said that he will look into how the damage happened, and asked me to bring the car next day again. Next day, the supervisor told me that the damage did happen due to negligence of the mechanic when the supervisor was away on a lunch break. He said he will get it fixed at their expense but I am having hard time working the service center to get the rims fixed due to lack of communication from the supervisor/manager.

There is lack of sensitivity to the customer's damage, poor communication, and lack of communication skills when talking to customer. The way they come across is bullying the customer when the customer to working in most cooperative way to get the damage (due to mechanic's negligence) remediated. I went to Goodyear service center and not to any other local shop because of the Goodyear's brand name but I am really disappointed for the lack of professionalism in doing the job right, and harassing the customer for the repair due to their mistake.

Needed an alignment due to uneven tire wear so I had them put on two new front tires and an alignment, $300 was fair. The issue was a week later when I go to take the tire off to do my breaks 3 out of 5 lug bolts snapped off. I look inside where the bolts are and the nuts where literally so far inside the holes that it's dented inwards. I called them to explain this and they said they could get me in by the next day charging me 80 per broken bolt. They obviously over tightened them but deny responsibility. I showed some pictures of the threading to a mechanic at the dealership I normally go to and he quickly stated that they were obviously severely over torqued which is a common reason for the studs to break off while removing the wheel.
