    I have no problem, with the technology. However, beware the company will steal your money. I had cancelled the membership last year. This year, I got a charge of $99.00. When I called, they said they would like into it and they said I did not cancel it. Eventually, I got a $50 credit and they insisted that I did not cancel despite the fact that I showed them the charges from last year and how they reimbursed me. I am going to change my credit card number to keep them from stealing any more money next year. Beware of this dishonest company.

    Told item was $19.99. Was charged $39.98 for two. Only wanted one. Then found out after I bought it was going to be charged $99.00 annually. Told FIXD to cancel order minutes after purchasing the unit. I was told it had gone out before they could cancel the order, but once I received the unit, I could send it back for a full refund. Sent back and was received August 27, 2025. Emailed FIXD September 2, to report they had the item back, but I have not received my refund, nor a reply to the email. Feel am getting a run around, and still getting several emails a day asking how I like the unit. I rated them with a one star, but would go lower if I could. SCAM Stay away!

    I got my FIXD scanner a week ago. It claimed no subscription was required to use it. Not true. They would only let me download my scanner if entered a card number. A card they claimed would not be charged without my approval. Wrong answer! I had not even finished getting the app from them when my credit card company called. Fixd had made a 35.00 withdraw on my bank. I wasn't even able to get the app before they ripped me off. They said the 35.00 was for two days and at that time I would be charged another 35.00. WOW! Wrong, I canceled my card. Don't deal with this company!

    I purchased this product from an ad on Facebook. Wish I had read more than a couple of reviews beforehand. Received my sensor in May 2025. Then I was immediately charged 99.00 for a yearly subscription, I did not authorize this being taken from my account!! I was leaning towards the 12.99 a month subscription NOT the yearly. I was given no option. Immediately that didn’t sit well with me. So customer service is nonexistent. You get links to use that are useless. So I needed to use my sensor it was an emergency situation, tried it and was told I needed a subscription!! Well now have one! So I tried using their chat feature and all I was told no email associated for me?? That just wasn’t true at all. So in order to use my sensor I had to sign up for the 12.99 “free trial“. Unbelievable! Well I was immediately charged the 12.99… there was NO free trial.

    The sensor itself worked ok, unfortunately it’s not as detailed as truly needed for a diagnostic tool. Just a waste of money. I through numerous emails (that’s the only way to communicate) did get my yearly subscription honored, even though I never consented to the yearly subscription. Absolutely never was refunded the 12.99 and I never will be.

    Just an overall frustrating, awful experience. I would never in a million years recommend this company. If you could speak to a person things could have been different, that is not an option however, they deliberately don’t offer an away to communicate with them… it was an endless round of emails just to get FIXD to honor my subscription (that I never agreed too). I have filed a complaint with the BBB

    I just realized that Fixd signed me up for a subscription where they were charging me $99 a year! For WHAT? I overlooked this one time charge but caught it this year! I reached out to the company to discontinue this subscription and to get a refund. I was told by Eric that you are only allowed a refund for the first 30 days of the subscription. They have been charging me for 3 years. He canceled the subscription but would not issue me a refund. I don't even know why there was a charge to use the device. They kept my payment information from purchasing the device and continued charging me without authorization. If there is ever a class action lawsuit against this company I want in on it!!

    The product works great until they update their software (every 6 months), and your phone's OS is no longer compatible. Updating phone OS doesn't help - You have to buy a new phone, or throw the things away. It is "Planned Obsolescence."

    I Purchased 2 of these sensors. The advertisements made this equipment look appealing. Once I got them, they felt cheap. Then after 2 weeks of owning these sensors I got a unauthorized charge via PAYPAL for $106.99. How are they able to take people's money without any authorization? PayPal tried to make sense of it but, they couldn't in my eyes. I never agreed to pay for any additional anything and am waiting for my money to be returned. It's been more than 5 days and I damn sure am not waiting for 30 days to get my $$$.

    I was scammed by this product too. They keep trying to charge my card 99.95. This is not under the promotion that you advertise and it’s called false advertisement. What I should know was a key factor it comes from China, which does a lot of schemes on American citizens. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT.

    I made my purchase from TikTok. There was no mention of paying for a subscription to be able to use the product. I am Not paying for a subscription, so I would like a refund for the 2 FIDX I purchased

    BE AWARE OF THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR OFFER. First of all, their premium subscription does not worth the money. If you run into any engine code issue in your car you can easily search online and it's free. Their offer was $50 for a year I wanted to try it. Main problem starts with this app/company, when you try to cancel your subscription. They offer %50 discount for premium subscription renewal but at the end they don't apply it. By the time you noticed you're charged full amount of renewal fee, it's being too late. They don't honor their offer and they keep full renewal fee. While some users might find this code reader beneficial, it doesn't quite live up to the promises made in its advertisements.

    I bought two units and was not able to make them work on my iPhone, ok. I just eat the cost and forget it. Then, I was charged $99.98 monthly subscription that I didn’t request, is added when you buy unit, very convenient. I will NOT recommend this thing, is a legal SCAM. It's better to get a regular scanner, it's cheaper.

    Purchased the product and it did not perform as expected. I have a 2007 VW EOS. On the console there is a warning light for the ABS, Tire Pressure Sensor and Rear Taillight. Did not detect anything! Additionally, I have been charged $112.99 US for a premium subscription which I did not authorize. Why would I if I was not happy with the product in the first place. I suspect it will not be an uphill battle to get $112.99 back

    You make the purchase. Within 1 week. They will charge you $105.00 for a bogus service. Check it out. They charged others between 104.00 and $106.00. Took me 2 weeks to get my money returned. Sad part is 2 weeks they're collecting interest on your dime. Have to pull teeth to get cash back. I almost gave up. Not a good company.

    Compared FIXD report with a report from a real mechanic. FIXD was not accurate and missed many issues. Also, APP demanded $99/year subscription in order to use the product. Company refused to honor guarantee. I threw it away as worthless.

    Good product but it's always too good to be true. Who wants to pay a monthly fee on something like this? Seems like a scam to me. There is no monthly fee with no other OBD2 scanners. In my opinion it's not worth the buy.

    Had it for about a month. I did not nor need the monthly subscription. But they attempted to charge my CC. $99.00. YES, almost a hundred dollars for a monthly subscription fee. My credit card company did well to alert me. Sounds like they are their radar already

    I was in need of a code reader, and it appeared that FIXD would satisfy that need. As I was ordering, their system glitched and I wasn't sure if I'd ordered or not. I wound up with two: charged twice. I attempted to return the unopened second device, but was not successful in getting an RMA. Their return/refund process is a nightmare. THEN I discovered that I had unknowingly been signed up for an "annual service plan" to the tune of $100+. What does that get you? Daily emails for services you don't want or need. I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for a dedicated code reader (with no subscription!). You won't like being inundated with endless the sales pitches, and the actual reader is very limited in it's functionality.

    I purchased the sensor a year ago and have no issues with the product. I also purchased the Premium subscription at the same time and and was just charged $110.00 to renew as I had to initially pay with a CC. I accessed the APP on my phone and saw that the email address associated with my subscription was my old employers email address and realized you cannot edit this information easily on the APP so I as there is not Customer service line to call I was forced to send a email to a support queue. It has been 4 days and many emails to the support que and no reply. Even though the sensor is a wonderful tool the FIXD customer service is non existent and SUCKS. I will be cancelling my subscription and for this reason would not recommend this product.

    When you subscribe on phone app you have to add a credit card to activate the software to use the device. I thought it was fishy. They say there is no charge for activation, but what they don't tell you is that the credit card is farmed out to a sports information publication. Several of them. Your credit card will be hit right away with a $34.55 charge. The sports publication is called SPORTSSPLASH. See image below to cancel. On top of this the sports publication implies that your card could also be used to sign you up to other publications if you do not cancel them. Fixd may be and I hope a good product, buy their tactics are shady and underhanded.

    I am simply considering purchasing the FIXD DEVICE, and was about to purchase for their current Black Friday sale price, and then I read a review that stated after a couple of uses, it’s worth it to go ahead and purchase the Premium Service. After looking into it and going to their site, I saw that it costs between $50 and $99 per year, or $12.95 per month depending on which source you trust in.

    I emailed FIXD support directly to find out the correct price and get a better idea of how worthwhile the Premium subscription is and how limited the device is if you elect not to buy the annual subscription or simply can’t afford it like me. Hope that helps! I gave it 5 stars and indicated that I would recommend to my friends because I had to fill in both fields to submit my review. I do feel that FIXD should be more transparent about the probable need to purchase the premium service for anyone that wants to use the device in the way it’s advertised. There’s only one small line in italics that is easy to miss, stating that the device comes with two free weeks of Premium service. But, there is no mention anywhere about the device’s functionality with or without Premium subscription, nor any listing of how much the service will cost you. If not for this, I would have bought the device for sure.
