I been a customer with FIXD for years and never really used the service. I have 3 devices, I forgot I had the service. On 12/30/25 my card was debited $99 by FIXD. On 12/3025 I asked for a refund and was denied. I emailed them asking for the refund because it was same day and was emailed by George **, stated that no I wasn’t getting a refund. So I emailed John Gattuso THE CEO who didn’t have the guts to return my email, he had Mr. ** email me once again stating I wasn’t getting my money back. They are getting money from people for unused services. I’m only asked for the money that was taken on the same day I requested a refund. Times are hard but millionaires don’t care about us little people.

Although the product may be worthwhile the attempt to cancel subscription and receive a refund is not. The company will cancel my subscription but will not refund the payment they deducted from my bank account on the same day of cancellation.

This product is garbage. If I need a mechanic it definitely won’t be one they suggest. It does not do what they advertise it to do. Just buy a code scanner. It will do much more. All it does is show a bunch of generic things wrong with your car that are fine. They want you to get a subscription and also skim off any profit.

I saw the ads for FIXD for $19.99. I purchased it for$19.99. I received an email saying I need to download download the app, so I did. I see a $99.00 charge I know nothing about. The scanner says my car is fine. I don't think it is. That's why I purchased the scanner. I need to call them about the charge.

It doesn't read codes beyond a simple 29.00 scan. Furthermore, this company charges an annual fee of 106.59 as soon as you download the app to put it on your mobile phone, which they don't refund. And if you call the customer service number, you can never speak to a representative; it's not worth it.

I didn’t know until a week after setting up the app, FIXD tried to charge my card an additional $100. The ad only read FIXD for $20. I had only set the app up and never used the device, so that was a surprise but I fault myself for not diving deeper before purchasing.

Product/service probably has some value, however, the sales team should be fired of their tactics. Ordered the device directly from them and had no idea they would automatically charge my credit card for the premium service. Then try to cancel and it's a complete pain. Click cancel and you think you're good, nope, another "offer" to keep you from leaving that you must click through. 3 or 4 different offers before I could finally get a cancellation confirmation. Because of this ALONE I am not interested in EVER using your service.

I ordered and received the FixD module for $20. Within three days of receipt, my debit card was illegally charged by FixD $107 for “Premium Service” that I did not order. Further proof of scamming customers was the great difficulty I encountered trying to find where to cancel this unauthorized transaction. This company is clearly scamming consumers by charging for services they neither want nor likely need. Note that upon threat of reporting FixD to my state’s Atty General Consumer Affairs, I received a legitimate refund to my debit card within 48 hours.

This racket has an F rating by the Better Business Bureau, based on years of complaints that it signs you up without consent to a subscription that is automatically renewed each year for a service that you didn’t want or even know about, apparently. Search the record online, look at the complaints on Better Business Bureau site. Buyer beware.

When I purchased my FIXD device, I inadvertently subscribed for the annual plan which was going to cost me $99.99. I sent a request to cancel my subscription, and I received a confirmation email that my subscription was going to be canceled and my subscription fee was going to be returned, but the next morning the idiots at fixed charged my account again instead of refunding my money. There is no way to contact the company by telephone. All communication must be done by email. Now they can't find my account and have no fucking idea how to refund my money. Clearly they don't know how to read the flurry of emails back and forth documenting their promise to refund my money and their failure to do so.

This is actually useless. Should have known when I saw all the ads on social media. I got mine. Plugged it in and did the first scan. Said it couldn’t connect. I hit scan again and it worked. Did an emissions scan said it should pass emissions. Then the bottom fell out. I did a scan for the check engine light and it said the light was off. I was looking right at it, on and shining brightly. Did it again, same result. I but the bullet and tried the upgraded version. Same junk. I cancelled it an hour later. Save your money.

I have another OBD2 that is much more reliable and you don’t have buy the subscription like FIXD. $49 for a junk app. Stay away from this thing. Blue Driver works a lot better. Word of caution about Blue Driver “Some of the vehicles that this device is not 100% compatible with our VW, BMW, Golf, Hyundai, and Volvo”. I’m guessing FIXD is that way as well. I have a Hyundai. Supposedly compatible. I have a regular mechanic OBD2 reader. That’s what I’m staying with. Pretty sure the other junk comes from China.

I ordered FIXD in July. I then tried to set up their app with no luck. So 20 - 30 minutes I cancelled my order. They sent anyway. I found on my step a few days later with no chance to refuse. Took it unopened to post office to send back. Post office told not to bother because address did not come back to that postal code. Told me probably a scam. Next thing I get is another $104.00 US charge on PAYPAL that I did not OK. That garbage must have been in the fine print that I did not see because I did not open the package. Try to contact, with no response back from them. PAYPAL should not have put through without permission as well. Have no idea whether product is ok or not.
