I took my jeep to Firestone this morning after realizing I had two nails in my tire. They replaced the tire with no issues. They let me drop my vehicle off, and I picked it up when it was ready. They let me know they did find an issue, but there was no pressure into fixing it today. I really appreciate Rick and Paul.

I wish, I could rate them negatively, I took my car for tire change and alignment with appointment at 7:15, mechanic did not showed up till 8:00, gave me estimate and around 10:00 revised my estimate to 10 times of original, finally gave me my car with only tires changed at 11:00 and with many error signs blinking on my dashboard which were not there when I came in with. No one is ready to answer. Pathetic. This is the worst experience of my 50+ years of life.

Very disappointed in their service! Constantly trying to push other repairs on customers. Recommended a friend to this location, and my friend almost disowned me. Todd, the store manager, thinks he is in the right regardless of the issues. Relies on manufacturer for his defense of poor service. I used to feel like a valued customer once, but now not so much. Had the same tire repaired and it is not, and Todd insists it is not his issue and won't stand by his work. NOT a friendly and personal place.

The Firestone center on GB Alford HWY in Holly Springs does not honor the warranty they have on their tires. Manager makes up rules that are not listed on the warranty paperwork and does not tell people what the rules are when buying tires from them. The center currently has a 2.8 out of 5 stars rating. Message Firestone on FB about the problem. We were told that the manager would contact us in 2 business days. There was NO contact. Now we are being told that the complaint will be bumped up to an area manager and, once again, contact will be made in 2 business days. We are not holding our breath. They think that if they can kick the "can" down the road far enough that we will give up. What they don't know is that we will kick it back at them every time. The lack of responsiveness from management just gives us more time to warn people to stay away from this company.

The Firestone Robert St in West St Paul, MN location admitted that their service tech had damaged my radio sound system and air conditioner when installing a new alternator. They said to take it an Acura dealership and then bring them the bill for reimbursement. Acura fixed everything and informed me that there was no way the alternator on my car had just been replaced. I found that the manager was replaced and the new manager didn't feel it was his problem. I mentioned that he could have a tech person check the alternator so we could resolve everything, but he said his techs were too busy. He also disregarded the reimbursement as the other manager's problem. Now a year later, Firestone area manager Joe ** is saying that it's late for the reimbursement even though Firestone was the one pushing me off all this time. This was the last straw as even now they are attempting to disregard what was promised.

Manager was polite and tried to get else a price close to what was online but it was too far off. Tried to file a complaint with corporate and they wanted to file one against the store for me. I explained it was the corporate side. Then they gave me a bogus number to a "president's desk." Bait and switch tactics. Pretty scummy.

I had made an online appointment for the date and time on the receipt as submitted. On the day of the appointment I went to the shop and I was told that the appointment was incorrect and was on the 18th instead of the 15th. I showed service guy “Tim” the verified text from Firestone for the 15th and the reservation number and he said it was wrong because I was not in the system on his computer. He also said I should have received a revised date of service. I showed him the 3 emails I received and none of them showed a revised day of an upcoming service appointment. I think he should have made an ASAP service appointment but he said there was nothing he could do because he was booked up for the next 3 days.

I was totally upset because I was going on the highway the next day and I wanted to be safe. His customer service was unacceptable to say the least. I’ve been there and gave them work on my other vehicles in the past but now I’m done with Firestone forever and not recommending them to anybody looking for service!!!! Goodbye Firestone!!!!

The TV was blaring some typical, anti-white person nonsense and another customer who had been waiting hours was having a coughing fit the whole time. A new attendant came up. I finally approached him after a couple of hours, I was polite and asked for my keys back. Without hesitation he got them and I left. I can't help but wonder if they just didn't want to help me even though I had an appointment and a work order. Regardless, I won't waste any more time with this company.

I took my SUV to Firestone Tire in Hidenwood Shopping Center in Newport News to get a slow leak in my tire repaired. In the process of removing the tire from the hub, they slashed a slit in the sidewall of the tire. I was told that since the SUV is AWD, I would have to replace all 4 tires at a cost of over $1000 (nice try). I checked with Volvo and was told I only need to replace the 2 that are on the same axle. Firestone told me there was a sale on two tires coming soon and that discount was better than the minimal compensation they were offering, for the perfectly good tire they damaged. I decided to take my business elsewhere. At least they did not charge me for the tire repair.

This review is for a particular Firestone store located at 7844 Kingland Dr West Chester, OH 45069-2533 (513) 370-2316. We have been doing business at this location for a few years now. After purchasing new tires, we were trying to get them routinely rotated. After one visit we felt as if they never rotated the tires because the car ride felt the same. So, before the next scheduled rotation we marked the tires and videoed it so we would have something to stand on. So, the car was dropped off for the maintenance which one item was to rotate the tires. After picking the car up we verified the tires was not rotated. Called and complained to the store they said tech didn’t rotate for safety reasons; that the tires on the back had more tread and they didn’t want the car to fish tale. Well, the tires have the same amount of tread on them and the car is front wheel drive and will not fish tale.

So, after getting caught in the lie, they tried again to lie about the reason they didn’t do the work. And yes, the receipt showed that they rotated the tires. This morning at 7:50am 2-7-2025 I was called by the manager from the store, he said he wasn’t sure about what happened but then explained to me how the tech is going to get a talking to. In this exchange he cursed using the Fbomb not at me but throughout the conversation. So now he said to bring the car back so they can rotate my tires. Does this make everything better? And when I got upset and started cursing, he said he wasn’t going to listen to that and hung up. So, what is the repercussions of them not doing what they said they did then lying about the reason they didn’t do it. What other things are they not doing like changing the oil filter or engine filter when they say they are.

This store will sell you services you don't need, and then they won't stand behind their service when they do something that causes your car issues. I brought my car in at 68k miles and they told me that I needed new spark plugs. I didn't know at the time that spark plugs are supposed to last 100k miles. And a mechanic was telling me I needed it; so I listened. 8k miles later, the end of a spark plug (that this Firestone installed and told me I needed) broke off into the 4th cylinder because a technician tightened it too much and the end of the spark plug cracked. I drove around for ~8k miles before the spark plug actually broke off, and now it has ruined my engine. So, I wouldn't even be in this position if they A) wouldn't have sold me a service I did not need for another 33k miles, and B) if the technician would have done their job correctly.

My dad is a mechanic and worked at the highest grossing (and privately owned: aka, not corporate) Firestone in North America for over 20 years as their head mechanic. One reason they were the highest grossing is because people from all over our state would come BECAUSE my dad is an honest man, and because he wouldn't sell someone something they did not need. I would not recommend this Firestone location to anyone, knowing what I know now.

I am also a woman, and the woman at the front desk said to me, "Maybe you can talk to your dad and he can explain it in a way that you can actually understand." I know I am a woman, but I am not an idiot. I have a degree in Physics and understand mechanics very well. I also understand that something can crack, but it won't actually break until enough force has been applied over time. Again, I wouldn't be in this situation if I wasn't sold a service I did not need. I have had issues with this store before, but because it was "under new management," I decided to give it another try.

After they came "under new management," they installed windshield wipers wrong; when I went to use them while it was raining, the rubber part flew off and then the plastic part scratched my windshield. They also forgot to reset my oil life (I thought maybe they didn't change my oil, but I checked it and they did). And they have not rotated my tires before and claimed they did. I know they also have to reset the tire sensors, but they didn't even rotate them, and I knew that because of a mark I put on one of my tires.

Another thing I think people should know: A corporate Firestone works like this: a mechanic recommends replacing x fluid. Then the person upfront will type that into the software, and the software will give them a bunch of other recommended services related to replacing fluid x, to add to your ticket. So now your mechanic only recommended "replacing x," but the person upfront (who earns commission) will also tell you, "You need a flush of x as well." So now, you think you need this done in conjunction.

Now let's add another layer: mechanics and technicians work on a set estimated time per service; a.k.a., billed labor time. So, for this fluid replacement, the mechanic only gets paid for their labor time. If a service takes longer than the set standard, the person doing the labor doesn't get paid for the extra time. So there is this value system that has been cultivated in corporate Firestone that ends up being mutually beneficial between the person upfront and the person in the back.

This also drives up how much the store itself makes. All of which screws over the customer for the benefit of a billion-dollar company. You may want to say, "But at least the employees are also benefiting." Let's do a thought experiment on that: Remember how I said my dad ran a non-corporate Firestone, and it was the highest-grossing location in North America for 20 years? Well, they didn't do things the corporate way. They paid their technicians, mechanics, and service members fairly, and it cultivated a team of awesome professionals who wanted to do right by the customer. They were not incentivized to screw over the patron. Thus creating trust and community, and that is EXACTLY the reason that this store was as successful as it was.

Corporate Firestone ended up purchasing that Firestone, and they implemented the "corporate way" of doing business, and within the year, it was no longer the Firestone it was. My dad ended up leaving because he hated screwing people over. He opened up a shop and took all of his loyal customers with him, and he is now the proud owner of an amazing shop with loyal customers across state lines.
