Stopped for fuel (Gulfport, MS), Easy Pay not working, employee said we had old card and they no longer use them? Hum, we've been using everywhere else. He acted like he was being put out by helping customers. Very poor customer service. I looked around and they had the same cars available for signing up.

Stopped at this location yesterday and tried to fill up on pump 11 (high speed Diesel). Pump cut off at $175 (34 gallons). I noticed I only had less than 3/4 tank. I Drive a Chevy 2500 with 35-36 gallon tank and I wasn't completely empty before getting fuel. I went inside to discuss with manager. I was told there was nothing wrong with the pumps, must be my truck and she alluded that I might be scamming them.
I came back this morning with a 5 gallon container and pumped (per the Pump) 5 Gallons. There was only 2.5 gallons of fuel in the container. I filmed and made pictures. Went back inside, ask for a manager, was directed to a different cashier. Manager in black uniform didn't acknowledge me. I explained the situation from both days. Then the manager in Black said "why would you keep coming back if there's a problem". I said to prove a point! She then said to leave my information, someone would Call. The Point is, I have been robbed of at Least $100! And no telling How many other people have too. I have left a message with Customer Service. No return call. Now I'm trying this avenue.

I visited Circle K last week to get a fountain drink. The inside is nice and updated, with all their technology. They had Dr. Pepper stocked and when I went to check out, I was able to use their new self-checkouts for a speedy checkout. I was in and out in under a minute. I recommend getting your food or drinks at Circle K every time, because of their easy and fast checkouts.

This is the letter I sent to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: I am writing to figure out if a company fraudulently used my checking account by gaining access and ultimately wanting me to pay a surcharge of $25. I've attached an email I received and could not get an answer by contacting the company or both of my banks. I've spent hours on this and don't know another option. On 7/16/22 I made a gas transaction at a Circle K gas station in Phoenix, Az. I paid for the purchase with my Circle K Easy Pay Rewards Card which is linked to my checking account and allows me to get a discount on gasoline. I signed up for this card in 2016 using my Vantage West Credit Union checking account and provided the routing and account number.
I signed up through the company they use called Zipline (www.myzipline.biz). The process involves them making 2 small deposits of a few cents to verify the account. Once they did that, I responded to an email to complete the process and everything went smoothly for years. With the high cost of gas recently, I decided to use my Circle K card along with earned points from a grocery store named Fry's in the area. By doing this, I was able to fill up my tank for $3.99/gallon instead of $5. On 7/20/22 I received an email from CheckRedi, a debt collection company on behalf of my transaction. They pointed out that I need to call and set up payment for the denied transaction and a $25 surcharge.
I contacted my Vantage West Credit Union and they could not find any denied transactions on my account. I then called CheckRedi and told them what my bank found. After going around the mountain several times, Latonya advised me that this was involving a Chase account that I used to sign up in 2019, not Vantage West. I told her I signed up with Vantage West in 2016 and asked how they got my Chase checking information. This is the problem. Since I closed my Chase account on 7/6/22, I do not have access to any information and went to a branch office. They can't explain it but do show a denied transaction for my gas posted on7/20/22. I attempted to access my Circle K/Zipline account and it's locked.
I called and was told that unless I pay the amount + surcharge, my account will stay locked. I told them that I acknowledge the transaction but, until this is rectified, I will not pay the surcharge. They would not allow me to pay for the transaction only. I am now in the process of trying to put my Vantage West account back on my Easy Pay card to see if I can access their information but can't verify the small deposits because of being locked out. The end result is that I'm in limbo with this and cannot access my accounts to provide any supporting documentation I may need such as when I signed up, etc. Someone needs to provide proof of how that account was changed but I don't have any means to retrieve it. I can request banking statements from Chase if needed but they have to send them by the United States Postal Service which could take up to 30 days. I applaud what you do and hope you can help me. Thank you.
The result was that after 2 weeks Zipline sent them a blah blah blah letter that did not address the issue. I called Circle K Corporate Headquarters and received a lot of "sorrys". Anyway, I paid the $25 ransom to CheckRedi so I can have my acct. unlocked and will investigate for myself. This is far from over...

I was close to my house and needed gas. The Circle K at Clarke and Gantt in Sarasota had gas prices flashing, I thought R was 3.58 but the R was $3.89? Sitting at a light so I saw that the $3.58 price was for easy pay. I went in the store to ask about it but the person just pointed at the info. I took it with me and decided to check it out online. There were many sites saying neg things, but I looked here and saw all the one star reviews. In this day and age when identity theft is rampant why would I give all that info to anyone, unless it was a serious situation..like getting a mortgage or voting. I drive 3.5m to Costco for gas @$3.55. I thought this would be perfect .75m from my house, but unless they are deliberately trying to discourage people from easy pay or gathering data for resale, there is no way I’d deal with this company…the only good thing was the $1 any size soda.

He was disrespectful to me asking me what is my boyfriend problem because he was on his phone watching YouTube and I told him, "It's not your business what he is doing on his phone. His property." I ask was this other man the manager to report his behavior and no manager was there. They both are rude and racist and discriminate against people. They don't need to work there period. If you have people working there like that then you don't need a business in our neighborhood at all. This is disgraceful to our community for you to allow this behavior to continue in your business.

Caution, Circle K Easy Pay may be a possible scam: So, it claims you can get up to 3 cards and link to your checking account. I went to the application process, provided my driver's license number AND my personal checking account information. It claimed that it cannot verify who I am even after giving up all this information, including my address, email and phone number. They wanted my personal bank statements, copy of my driver's license and a utility bill (and my first born child). Then I tried to download the app. It wouldn't download. I called 'Zipline' customer service. That was another crock. Said they couldn't help me because they don't do the enrollments. Needless to say, I requested my account be terminated, assuming this was even something affiliated with Circle K. Unreal!!!

I got Circle K easy pay card for the .30 off the first 100 gallons which was a lie, but that’s neither here nor there. I kept using the card as I’m prone to actually dropping my own debit. Easier to replace a easy pay than a debit. Me my husband and my daughter use this card which resulted in quite a few uses. Never had a problem until last week. My payroll check was for some reason 2 days late. Within those 2 days charges that were made prior came through, 6 to be exact. My bank rejected them and sent them back. Circle k easy pay retried 2 which is ok of course. But where the major problem is coming in is, they are charging 30 dollars per all six. None of this I even realized until I looked closely and realized the two Retries were actually 2 30 dollar fees.
I’ve had to make payment arrangements just to pay off my debt when I could’ve paid the other 4 plus the 2 that went through plus the 2 30 dollar retry fees but they insisted on making sure I paid 4 more 30 dollar fees totaling more than all six of those transactions. Remember, it was a fluke and they know this because I had plenty more before those 6 with no problems. I simply wasn’t paid on time for the first time I can ever remember and they aren’t willing to help in the least. I could see if I had history or continual problems. It was a fluke over 2 days that’s it. They don’t care that it’s during COVID and they are taking food away from my children in doing this. No compassion. Sorry for the jumbling around, I’m just so upset.

On a Sunday evening in June '21, I did what I normally don't do and went inside a Circle K convenience store. I normally pay at the pump but I was there to buy some PowerAde. I was surprised to see that the PowerAde 32oz bottles were on sale - 2 for $3.33. The store was very clean and I was impressed with that. However, that's where it went south.
I got in the shorter of 2 lines and there were 3 others in front of me. I noticed the cashier took the most time with the customer immediately in front of me as they joked around a lot conversing and laughing for at least a couple of minutes. However, when it was my turn the cashier acted confused...and said I need some change to the other cashier. I waited patiently while they broke quarters. Then he scanned my 2 PowerAdes and it rang up like $6.
I pointed out that they had a sign on the door they were selling them for 2 for $3.33 and feel free to check. He stammered and muttered for a full minute before he came back with a response which was, "Ok...that will be $4.59." I was like..."Sir...did you not hear me - I just said you have a sign on the door that it is 2 for $3.33." He looked even more confused and fumbled with the drawer and then asked the cashier to the left that he needed a correction. She seemed like she was a manager. I had 4 $1 bills on wanted to them to give me the exact correct change like most places do and was prepared to wait until they did.
He whispered to her the amount he thought it was and ignored what I said and when she came over and said I'm adding a discount. When she walked away he made no effort to adjust the amount and just handed me a few coins. I called him out on it and the line behind me was growing. He got mad and shouted aloud..."You make me sick....that's why I hate ** like you"....then walked away and said I'll take someone in the next line.
I told the other cashier. Having witnessed him act out she came over and corrected the correct change issue. I told her his behavior was inappropriate and he is not mature enough to work there and probably needs to be let go asap. She nodded in agreement, I got my correct change, walked out with my 2 Powerades and left. However, things could have gone very differently and I've witnessed violence from customers who responded when it was a moneygram or western union that involves a couple of hundred when the cashier was disrespectful.
I have heard of bad reviews from other patrons of gasbuddy and getupside of Circle K claiming they like to shortchange people so you gotta watch them like a hawk. I've also heard stories of when altercations break out between 2 immature ** minded people of any race. My goal was not to fight or have fired some saggy pants wearing young "boy" playing cashier who wasn't mature. However, I share this because I know of people who could potentially have jumped across that counter and put themselves, him and others at risk b/c once the irrational behavior line is crossed people often fail to think through consequences. Management, please do your best to screen against hiring hot heads that could cause more harm than good.

Girl at the counter said that she was all by herself and if I could wait out by the outside caged cabinet, she would send the other person out as soon as he got back. Waited for 10 minutes and no one showed up so I went back in the store to see what was going on. Asked they guy why no one came out to exchange my cylinder of which his reply was, "they have no cylinders left to exchange." Why in the world didn't they come out and tell me that? Easy pay enrollment requires drivers license number, bank account information, last 4 digits of social and then I got an email saying they needed a copy of the first page of a utility bill or 1st page of my bank statement. This seems way too extreme to me so I cancelled everything. The IRS.gov website didn't ask for even half this much information when I set my account up with them. It certainly isn't worth saving a few bucks at a gas station.

This is a store I regularly go to because it is so close to my house. I've never really had any problems with the customer service before but the other night was very different. There was a woman named Linda, that I have never seen working the night shift, working that night. I'm assuming she is relatively new given the way she handled the situation. My gf, her friend and I went into the store and the girls were looking at the ice cream machine which had a caution tape sign on it but nowhere on it said do not use. Also there was water all over the floor in front of the machine but no sign notifying us not to go down that aisle or wet floor sign. All of the sudden she runs over to us and was almost yelling at us to get away from the machine and was like "can't you see it's not working! You cant be over here!"
Then to my surprise she says "actually the store is closing! Buy your items and get out! The store is now closed!" At this point I'm extremely shocked by her reaction. I'm not sure if it was really the ice cream machine she was freaking out over or just us because we were the only ones in there besides one other man. I refused to purchase anything and we left to go down the road to QT. As I'm driving back to go home I noticed almost the entire parking lot was full and she in fact did not close the store. This honestly made me feel like she was judging us for some reason and I just can't seem to think of any reason she would have done that to us.. Not sure if I'll ever be going back there past 10 pm.

I had not made it to the bank overnight and they ran the account again for the $51 & the $40 separate. So that way it charged my account $30 twice, before 9 o'clock the following day. At about 2:45 PM this afternoon, I stopped at the Circle K in Milan Ohio to get gas and a small snack. I stopped at pump #6. I walked in the store to use the restroom. I then went to the coolers and chose an 89 cent package of string cheese to buy for a snack. I then went to the counter to pay for my snack and to put the gas in my car using my cash miles card that had fourteen dollars on it. I paid for the gas using my miles cash card and then put the string cheese purchase on my debit card. I went out to pump the gas. The pump did not show that my fourteen dollars had even been put on the pump. I went back inside the store to see what the issue was. The lady that had rung me up for both transactions was not able to find my transaction for the gas. She was only able to find the transaction for the string cheese. (She was an assistant manager)
I told her to take the customer behind me so that she would not have to wait. The customer saw me starting to cry because the assistant manager had told me that there was nothing she could do about my fourteen dollars being missing. The customer paid for my gas out of the kindness of her heart because of what the assistant manager had told me. I felt so humiliated! The assistant manager just shrugged her shoulders and said again that there was nothing she could do. So, I went outside to pump the gas that the customer paid for. After pumping it, I went back in to ask the assistant manager for the miles cash card back. She gave it to me and told that the card had a zero balance still. She also told me that both pump numbers 5 and 6 had been "acting up for a day or two now". I told her that the pumps should not have been put into use if they were not functioning correctly. I went back out to my car crying.
I called the number on the back of the card hoping to speak with someone who could help me fix the card situation. The lady that answered the phone was in Mexico. (She said so herself) The phone rep also told me to "calm down" because her "English was not very good" and that she did not understand me. I had to respell my first name at least half a dozen times. The phone rep still was not getting the spelling. The phone rep told me that since I was still at the location I should have gone back in the store and had the assistant manager call your Tech Support department. I told the phone rep that I did not feel comfortable going back in the store because of the Covid-19 pandemic. (The store had several customers inside by then)
So,l I started to cry again. She had no right to talk to me that way. I am a paying customer and should be treated with respect. Instead of continuing to cry, I just hung up after several minutes on the phone trying to deal with the phone rep and her poor English comprehension skills. I was brushed aside by the assistant manager. I was humiliated and degraded all the way around. Sure, the customer that paid for my gas did so out of the kindness of her heart but it was not for her to make right! THE ASSISTANT MANAGER should have made it right! I should not have been put on the spot in front of the everyone in the store! I should not have been yelled at by the phone rep either! Circle K should be using phone reps that can speak, read, write and comprehend English.
It was over 30 minutes of my time trying to get the gas in my car and calling the customer service number on the back of my card. I also called a lady named Connie at the Great Lakes Division. She did not answer her phone so, I left a voicemail. She has yet to return my call as of the time stamp on the message I am sending you now. There have been pricing issues on the sign at the same location before. (One price on sign and another on the pumps) It happens quite often. I work in Marblehead Ohio and used to work in Sandusky, Ohio. I have been stopping at this store at least 3-4 times a week for the past two and a half years. I am an STNA. If I were to treat any of the patients or their families the way that I was treated today, I would not have a job.
At a minimum, I want the fourteen dollars put back on my card since I did not get to use it for the gas. I also want to be contacted directly about what transpired today. I work till 3 PM typically. (Today I got off early because of low census at work-we can't admit new residents until the Covid-19 Pandemic has calmed down and the stay at home order lifted) Circle K has fourteen dollars of my hard earned money. Not to mention that all of this made me late for a job interview. I used to work for Englefield Oil. They own the Duchess Stations. I worked for them for several years. That is why I know why, when and how the pumps should be bagged etc.

After about five visits, I politely asked why my ID needs to be scanned constantly considering the clerk who is working obviously knows I am over 21 because they have verified my age many times. She went on to explain that it is company policy to do this for anyone that appears to be under the age of 40. I asked her do they ask for identification for people that appear over 40 and she said "No". I insisted since she knew my age and knows I am over 21 could she not scan my ID. She said she had to and refused the sale.
This gave me pause. Why would Circle K refuse a sale on a product to a person of legal age because they don't want their ID scanned? It then came to me that maybe they are possibly harvesting information and selling it. I have called their corporate headquarters three times asking specifically what information is collected when they scan your ID. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. I am taking this complaint to the Ohio Attorney General's office for review. If they are in fact harvesting data, my consent must be given for this. There is no reason that my ID NEEDS to be scanned each time I buy something, especially if you are dealing with the same clerks. I believe something nefarious is taking place and will be getting to the bottom of this. I will update this review if I ever receive a response.

I got the Easy Pay card as a way to save money on my tight budget and like many people I didn't read the terms and conditions all the way. Well I had the correct amount of money in my bank account to accommodate my payment but because of their B.S. 1-3 business day withdrawal amount it ended up returning from my bank but I wasn't notified until a week later. When I was notified I was told that I had to pay an extra $25, then was told to read the terms of service again and found out that that is the maximum and I mean maximum in my state that can be charged for a return fee.
They were not willing to charge me less than the maximum instead I was met with an attitude from the person I was talking on the phone with. Their complete lack of customer service and their complete lack of understanding of people's financial situations and their false advertisement about the ¢30 off per gallon (that I am echoing from other complaints) makes this card a complete waste of time and effort and just a way for the greedy company get more money.

The easy pay program say you will receive 30cents off on gas... straight BS. You received 6 cents off at pump & 24 cents On savings on the back end. That’s not what was advertised. If the advertising say you 30 cents off them that’s what expected not 6 on gas & 24 cents saving. The advertising is very misleading. When you call them they will argue you down saying you receive your savings. I didn’t want 24 cents savings. I was expecting 30 cents off gas period, not savings on the back end as explained by a rep. These companies say what they have to say to get you to sign up only to disappoint in the end. I will never again sign up with anyone w/out verifying what they offer is what you actually receive.

I’ll start by saying that it is a new, very nice and clean store. On this particular occasion my wife, daughter, and I stopped there for ice cream from a soft serve machine. A small cone was 99 cents and a bowl was $1.99. Since the bowl was a bit bigger we decided to get those. However, when the bowl was less than half full a notice popped up on the screen saying STOP along with a rather loud beeping sound. At first I thought maybe the machine was broken but since it kept working we filled the bowls and got in line to pay.
That was when I was essentially admonished by the cashier in a long line of people (not that I’m necessarily blaming the employee as she said they can get in trouble if they don’t say anything). I was told that management considers it stealing to not stop filling it when the machine says stop. I will say this: How is this any different than buying a large coffee cup, but being told you’re a thief if you fill it up? Or going to a Dairy Queen, buying a large Blizzard and they give it to you half full? Completely ridiculous and insulting. Needless to say, I will never be back.

As I was checking out, she started asking me Passive aggressive questions about my dog being in the store, to the point of yelling at me. Told the lady at register gas pump 3 and went outside to put gas and it wasn’t working so I went back inside and the lady had a attitude. Tried explaining to her and she snapped at me said, “Hold on maam” so waited. The line kept getting long and waited about 10 min people kept coming in. I asked her "how long are we going to have to wait people keep coming in." She said, “There nothing I can do. Someone pumped the gas. What do you want me to do?” I tried explaining to her I never pumped gas then the assistant manager came out tried explaining to her what happened then her response "what are you trying to say." I’m like, “I paid for gas and didn’t receive my gas.”
They looked for the receipt and turned out the lady at the register put it on pump 5 so the response from the "assistant manager" was, “Well maam there’s nothing we can go. You said the # 5 and that’s where she put it." So I’m like ok but that was an error on the lady at the register. She started walking to the back. I don’t know what you want me to do. I’m going to call my boss. It’s your fault" went to the back. I was shocked. This is the assistant manager who is yelling like she’s crazy in front of alllll the customers.
Well both the assistant manager and the lady who was at the register went to the back and he's back there so I call the cops. The Circle K at 1610 E 6th, 85705 continues to be a place of many who loiter and bother the paying customers. It is often trashed out, specifically on the East side, where they hang out. And it always stinks! The employees seem sincerely frustrated as are all of us who live nearby. I was just there, as an employee asked two young clean cut men, to take their small (and clean) dog outside, as one of the homeless guys bathed at the sink, near the soda machine. I see that action often, and it seems very unsanitary. I do not want to come in and buy anything, when someone is splashing dirty water, from their body, having not bathed for weeks. I also do not want to be asked for money and have my windows washed every single time I come to my local convenience store. Do something Circle K Corp. Please. Now I understand if I use their cup etc., but I had my own cup and they trying to charge me .59 cents for ice. Now they sell any size drink for .79 cents using their cup and soda. To me this is very poor customer service. I decided that if I was going to be charged 59 cents for ice I might as well get the drink along with it for an extra .20 cents.
What made me write the review is this. When I went back to get the soda I saw a lady getting 2 cups of ice. I was curious about the whole thing because this was the first time anyone tried to charge me, so I carefully stayed back and watched the same clerk not charge this lady for the two cups of ice. The only difference was this. The clerk was **, I am **, the lady with two cups of ice was **. Now that is racist any way you slice it. Besides that, if Circle K needs to charge for ice like they are not earning enough then it's time for me to take my business to RaceTrac. The store is located in Ocala, FL.

Been a regular at the Circle K at 1619 Sycamore since they open. They have this sign on polar pop like any other Circle K that reads 89 cents any size. I bought one of those oversize Pepsi mugs and they charged me 89 cent. I have used a larger mug and they charged me 89 cents for some reason. The worker they now have wants to charge me 2.09. I feel the larger sign that says 89 cent any size is misleading and to just up the price on a regular shopper without offering a chance just rude. Was there just two days before all this and they was out of cups so I brought my own mug then to find they want to charge more. Lucky there's another Circle K in town on Shaffer that just charges 89 cents.

So I've been living in a corporate accommodations apartment in Greensboro NC for about 3 weeks for work and will be until the end of September. The Circle K on New Garden Road in Greensboro is right next to my apartment. I have been going there nearly every day for personal drinks and snacks and also chewing tobacco, and also is my main place to fill up the company truck with gas 3-4 times a week. My ID is a Minnesota driver's license, as I actually live in Minnesota and am staying at the Greensboro apartment through and paid for by my company. Yesterday I went in to buy some chewing tobacco, the clerk examined it for a while (I have purchased it through her multiple times). She asks me if it is fake a few times, I assure her no and explain my situation. She doesn't believe me and asks her manager.
She tells me that it is supposed to "shine" under a certain light, I say. "Okay shine it." All while there are about 7 people behind me in line waiting with only one register open. She tells me that she cannot sell it to me, I am annoyed and tell her, "Okay I will take my business elsewhere." Today I thought I would give it another shot because the location is so convenient. I walk over and attempt to purchase another can of chewing tobacco. A different clerk looks at it and feels it and again tells me it is supposed to "shine", and uses his North Carolina ID to compare and show me what he means. I tell him it's a different state and that it is made with a different material (Minnesota IDs are made of Teslin and are flexible and have more of a matte look).
He tells me he cannot sell it to me, I am annoyed again and slide the can back to him, it falls off the counter and I apologize saying I didn't mean to fling it off the counter, he get's annoyed with me and threatens to call the cops. I say okay call them, he glares at me and tells me to get out. I will not be purchasing Anything from any Circle K location, personal or business.

I have worked at this store for about a month. The lady that runs the store (Aster) is a very nice lady. She is a hard worker and a good trainer. She is from Ethiopia and does speak with broken English but still easy to understand. From what I was told, the general manager (Chuck) does not think he has to abide by Tn. State law in giving employees breaks and lunch. Yesterday he told me on the phone that Circle K has its own break policies and guidelines. The problem is, this does not adhere to the State Labor laws. One day I worked 12 hours total at two different stores and was not given a break or a lunch. I was told to go outside and have a couple of quick puffs off of my cigarette and get back in here because we have a lot of work to do.
From what I have witnessed, none of the employees are getting breaks or lunches. I will be contacting the State Labor Board today and have contacted an attorney. It is not my intent to sue for any monetary damages, just to right a wrong and have this company adhere to state laws like every other company is supposed to in TN. I also witnessed Chuck raising his voice at Aster in the store in front of customers. She was so embarrassed. I have also witnessed Chuck being degrading to her at a managers meeting in front of the other managers and assistant managers that attended the meeting. Some of the ladies even told him to quit it. This man needs to learn some business and people skills. I would not suggest for anyone to work at the Middle Tennessee circle k stores under the management of Chuck. He is a very mean and unhappy person.

I frequent this store, 1 sometimes 2 times a day. In the evening there is one specific cashier who is quite rude and doesn't really care about certain people that she deals with. I go in for Lotto tickets or Lottery tickets here in FL often. I NEVER ask about numbers if there is a line. I've been a cash register attendant at a gas station before and it's time consuming. One day she had the audacity to tell me, the customer, that this is the most aggravating thing and she doesn't like doing it. I told her I didn't care and that by the time she was done arguing with me there was a line. I always buy a scratch off if I ask her about it, whether I like it or not because it's pretty damn rude if you don't.
Tonight I went in there specifically 15 minutes before 11 PM, which in FL is when lotto machines shut down. She told me she couldn't sell me anymore because her lotto machine was already shut down and she already wrote her numbers down. I told her to change the number for the ticket I bought but she flat out refused. This is not the 1st time I've had a prob. I've complained on her, one time she was behind the counter unbraiding her hair and then touching people's items, which is disgusting anyway you look at it.
She's rude and if you aren't her skin color she doesn't seem to care about you. This is sad because I get along with everyone else in the store no matter who they are. The manager is awesome, the associates are pretty damn cool themselves, even the new ones. I'm an easy going person but something that keeps happening when she's, it becomes uncalled for. You NEVER tell a customer that what they want is annoying, we don't have that kind of relationship and even if we did I'm still A CUSTOMER.

The haters habitually set up the customers who originate from the British Isles and are seriously sick/dying by intentionally running into them / blocking them with (needless) devices including crutches / (non)service animals while shouting, "EXCUSE ME!" to transpose attitude/circumstances and make it appear that the customers who originate from the British Isles and are seriously sick/dying are inconsiderate of the elderly/injured. I purchased a refillable cup at the Circle K on Hampden Ave and Chambers Rd at a clerk's prompting because I frequently buy their slushie product. This clerk advised me that the refills would be $0.36. In addition, there was coupons in the cup. The first few refills were $0.36 but, one weekend I encountered a clerk who was not only extremely rude, she insisted on charging the full price of the refill as the regular purchase without the refillable cup. When I advised her of the refill price she became indignant and threatened, in front of other customers to call the cops on me. Embarrassed, I left the store and opted to report this clerk to the store manager. I called the following day and was told Pete was this store's mgr. I spoke to Pete who told me the discount key was not working on the register but, he'd refund me for the refillable cup and honor a free refill if I wanted to come back in the store. He also said if he was not there, he'd leave a note for his staff.
Pete was not there! No note left with staff so I left the store and decided to call when Pete was there. In the interim I encountered the same rude clerk! As I entered the store she announced out loud, "I'm still charging you full price for a refill and if you don't like it I'll call the cops on you." Neither time did I provoke this clerk. In fact, as I filled my cup I recorded her intimidating me. I purchased another cup to show her coupons in the cup regarding the refills, she refused to acknowledge me or the information. I was able to contact Pete, Tuesday, September 20th. Pete's story has changed. Now Pete is blaming Corporate for changing the policy on the refills for the refillable cups and that corporate informed the store refills now must be at full regular price, there's nothing he can do about it!
Either this is the worst case of false advertising or this store is charging the full price for the refillable cups and pocketing the difference. At any rate, because of how this matter has been handled, I was advised to once more allow the store mgr to remedy the matter and if not contact the corporate office. I started being a regular at the Circle K on the corner of Madison St/HWY 111 in August of 2015 (this year). Became so regular I got to know a lot of the employees by name and other regulars alike. This store is one of the worst managed stores in California but because it's located on the fringe of Indio/La Quinta where many know limited English I guess everything gets "dummied down" anyway. The 1st form of "just being stupid" were the gas pumps themselves. They had no big large letters telling you which pump you were on. So if you forget your number and are in the actual store you couldn't see which pump you were on. Three weeks ago corporate came in and fixed this problem.
Next up are the dumpsters which are never locked so it is a wide open game for people/businesses dumping at will... Always smells like rotten fish which is not appealing if you just pull up too near the dumping facility. The back gate to the store is unlocked likewise so the transient/homeless have a great camping area directly behind the store. These homeless can hang out for hours and although most are alright the few that are not? It's just terrible for any business to have to endure and it's not fair to the customers. Upon walking into the store most of the employees are downright rude... The worst one being the main manager whose name I can't remember for good reason? I won't tell you the reason right now because in all fairness certain things are best left unsaid.
Beyond the rude employees (not all of them mind you), the bathroom facility is something out of the Civil War - try not to touch anything. Paper dispenser never works. No sanitizer. Safety issue here likewise for robberies because the restroom (asexual) is out of sight and when you leave the bathroom 33 feet in front of you is a small office with the door usually wide open. If you are a good thief just come to this Circle K. The way it is laid out is done under the unconscious umbrella of whatever you want and you want it bad enough - help yourself! They are taking a bath.
There are three good employees here - the best one a male on graveyard and his relief Sunday/Monday. They are both courteous, no-nonsense, clean efficient employees. As far as the business itself? Fire most of the staff - 75% who are always late anyway and shut it down for 3 weeks and don't open the door until you have a professional business once again.

I left my bag up front like you should and made my purchase. I forgot my bag so I went back to get it because I forget sometimes and that maybe due to my learning disabilities. The next morning I went into the store when she said "hey you" twice. I'm hearing impaired so I did not hear her. The third time I looked up and she snapped in a very loud voice "you heard me. GET OUT!". I asked why and she said "don't ask stupid. you heard me GET OUT so and so saw you take something". I started to say "I had a receipt for my purchase" but she screamed "GET OUT NOW!!!"
Other times I went into the store I would talk loud because I'm hearing impaired and that is what I do because I can't hear too well and at times have to use sign language. It was clear she could not handle that, had an issue and had to find some way to get me out of there. On occasions also when I saw homeless disabled people walk in and homeless disabled people in wheelchairs go in to pay for something she would walk over and tell them to leave because they smelled. These people clearly had no way of doing laundry because they were homeless and that is to be expected. They cannot help it. They wash clothes when they can. The way this woman treated me and others is clearly a violation of the ADA and American Civil Liberties rights. This woman has to be stopped or others may suffer.

So here is what’s going on, I have pictures of their signs, and cash register receipts to prove that they are ripping off their customers. And this is not the first time I’ve question what I’m being charged. I’ve brought it to their attention more than five times, still, there is nothing they will do about it.
I went in a few days ago to buy a 6 pack of Mich Ultra priced at $8.99. With tax it should have been $9.53. However when the cashier rang it up, it was $10.06. When I questioned the price, she got the price tag, called a manager to review the price and receipt, and told me there was nothing they could do about it. I went in last week for 2 cans of Mich Ultra, priced at $1.79 each or 2 for $3.00. However, when it was rung up, it was over $4.00. I asked the cashier, “why is it that every time I come in here, I’m overcharged.” I was told there was nothing she could do about it.
Now, for over a year I’ve had this problem every time I go in there. I’ve reported it to them so that they could correct the problem, however, nothing is corrected and there is nothing they will do about it. I don’t know if all Circle Ks overcharge their customers, but for sure the Circle K at 2790 Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers does, and there is nothing they are going to do about it. She's quite rude and totally disrespectful towards customers. I let it go a couple of times, due to fact I wasn't the victim, but I did find concern for others. Especially when I witnessed her addressing a handicapped gentleman in such a derogatory manner. People can't change the way God made them physically. I prayed for this woman. I don't know if Circle K did background or previous employment checks, but if so, they'd know this young lady has been terminated, from a numerous of stations locally. I don't like going to the stations owned by foreigners, but at least their level of respect prevail MY OLD STOP.

I'm 18 and he is 20. Luckily he had his that day but now if I buy something, he cannot come in anymore because they will refuse to sell even though they've checked our ID'S many times. They even scan the ID like I'm going to have changed to a minor overnight.

I went in to get my normal beverages which total in 1.73 at the local buckeye circle k on Watson Ed. After leaving and getting ready to get back in my car the cashier came out and wrote my license plate number down. Which I didn't think anything of because I had done nothing wrong. After driving two blocks, I was pulled over by the police, asked to step out of my car, and sit on the curb. After talking with another officer who had just pulled up I was informed that I was being pulled over for using stolen credit cards at circle k the day before. I was so confused due to the fact k pay cash for all my transactions at this place as it is never more than 11 dollars of I get a pack of cigarettes. I was asked to hand my wallet to them so they could search for the stolen credit cards, which I happily did as I had no idea what they were talking about. After that I was told I would get a phone call back from the officer after he talked to circle k.
After waiting 5 hours I was called back and informed that, they had "confirmed" it was me, but that I had been driving a totally different car than what was originally stated and also with another person at the time of this incident. So at this point I'm even more confused as I the only person I ever go to this place with is my fiance and they were saying I was with another male. From there I was also informed that circle k was wanting to press criminal charges on me for trespassing, because after the police speaking with circle k again I hadn't been using stolen cards but in fact supposedly been asking their customers if I could purchase gas with my card and receive a few dollars less. Apparently the police officer asked to see video proof which they could not provide, so the officer did not choose to honor their criminal trespassing charge.
All in all I have to say this is one of the biggest headaches I have ever gone through for two 44 oz. sodas. I will never go back to this place after the embarrassment they caused me and the serious accusations they tried to claim. I would recommend to anyone who goes there make sure to get a receipt and what ever else you can get to prove you're doing what you did, so they can't make false accusations about you. If they did it easily to me they can do it as easily to you.

I asked for their names, one of them hid her badge. As a Retail Manager myself. I know you are not allowed to accuse anyone of stealing, and second, a clerk should never hide her name. I also picked up a pack of cupcakes and asked for two lottery tickets. The total came to $3.91.... My pump read that I pumped $14.38 worth of gas. I expected my money back. The clerk gave me a receipt of $15, after she asked me for more money. I told her that she was incorrect, and I needed my money back before we proceeded any further transactions. She stated that her register rang me up for a total of $15, which she could not correct. She then stated that I never gave her any money for two $1 lottery tickets and a 2-pack of cupcakes. I had to floor the accelerator pedal at 4000 RPM for about 15-20 minutes to get the slug of bad fuel out. I filled about 11 gallons into my 2003 Buick LeSabre. I never had this happen before.
Saturday, the Digital OBD2 Diagnostic Gauge was used as my vehicle was running and no error codes can forward. This attachment is stating that not all gas has the same quality standards. I hope this helps you out from running into any fuel problems in the future.
For added protection, have you ever used Sea Foam Motor Treatment? I bought some this morning at Auto Zone, buy two cans and get one can free. I put one can in my gas tank to mix with the Circle K bad gas. The publication that I sent you is only for GM Mechanics and is not for general public knowledge on fuel supplier ratings. Just buy all of your fuel from Shell in our area and you can get the additional additives for about the same price.

I then picked up my bag and continued to walk out the door when Paulette yelled at me as I was exiting the store saying "YOU HAVE A GREAT NIGHT SIR!!". Now correct me if I am wrong but the main focus of a cashier at Circle K is customer service. This girl has absolutely zero customer service skills let alone communication skills. At the moment I went in yesterday September 12, 2014 and as usual she is always to busy to help the other cashier. Usually she is having personal conversations with people in the store. I guess that she knows it was about 9:00 pm.
The other cashier was soft spoken, seemed very sweet but you could tell that she was bothered by having such a long line while miss I am too busy was doing something else. One of the other customers was complaining about how long it was taking because they said they also always go to this store to get gas and that the big girl always has her register shut down for one reason or another and this is very true and the line was so long, it was at the cooler and was even longer by the time I got to the register.
The big Caucasian girl is always rude. She said something back to the man complaining in a rude manner as she always does if anyone said anything about her register being closed. She does not smile ever. She always looks sloppy and she is just totally the wrong person for that job and I would like to see her removed from that location. It is too busy for her to always be too busy to open her register. Usually if I see her working I will pull out and go elsewhere but I was just wanting to hurry to get home today. Now if the blonde nice young man, funny guy who smiles is working I will stop and get what I need because he greets you, asks how are you doing, asks "is there anything else I can get you or will that be all." He is a people person, perfect for the job and there is a older woman later at night who is there that is very sweet as well and great for the job but the big mean attitude I am too busy and cannot even say, "hi how are you."
She needs to be fired she is driving people away from the store. I hear people in line all the time saying the same things I am saying about her. Today August 28th, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. I entered the above name store and I was treated with disrespect and rudeness. The employee's name is **. I do not have his last name. There were eight people waiting in line and ** was behind the tall part of the counter away from the register so you could only see his head and he was talking to someone saying that he was in love with someone (personal conversation).
The man ahead of me stood there with his product on the counter for 3 minutes. I was behind him and I checked my cell phone clock. I am a patient person also, so I waited and waited. ** did not even look up and make eye contact with any of the customers to let us know he would be right with us. So I said, "Excuse me". ** looked and yelled at me and said "Excuse me, I am running a EPT!" (Whatever that is). I said "Ok, sorry. I didn't know, sounded like you were having a personal conversation while we are waited for service." ** replied, "Patience is a Virtue!"
I said, "I really don't need the added attitude." I said, "You are rude and you have not shown good customer service here, you could have looked up from what you were doing to let us know you would be right with us. At least make us feel that we were welcomed here." He finished the EPT thing another 2 minutes and then by that time, the line was very long and he asked the man in front of me if he wanted a bag for his two sodas, the man said no, and ** still tried to bag his stuff. The man took his stuff out of the bag and politely said, "I said I would not like a bag, thank you."
Then I was next. He asked if that would be all for me, and I said, "I really would like less attitude and better customer service." He took my money without a reply and I stood waiting for my change and ** said, "IS THAT ALL?!" I said, "No, I would like my change." ** opened the drawer and got my change. He handed it to me and before I could move, he was reaching for the next product in the customer behind me and he bumped me with their stuff. ** never said I am sorry or offered any explanation for his behavior.
Plant City once was a small town, but recently it is starting to grow and booming with new business. Customers have choices now. They do not have to subject themselves to this type of treatment. I have been a customer with Circle K for several years. The incident occured at the Circle K establishment on the corner of COORS blvd. and Paseo Del Norte in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
An employee by the name of Kelly, a man in what I believe to be his thirties, has complete disregard for customer service and was unbelievably rude and disrespectful today. I have never been so insulted in my life! There was no reason for his outburst, I would understand if he was being threatened or there was a disturbance in the store. However, neither of the two were the case. A friend and I were trying to make a Lottery purchase and he requested that we both show I.D.s, so I went back out to my car to retrieve the I.D. and when I approached the counter and showed him the I.D. he refused the sale, claiming a
"two-party sale."
We tried showing him our I.D.s were in fact valid and he refused, saying he wasn't going to deal with our "********", and continued to act disrespectfully towards us, in front of other customers, yelling and eventually telling us both, "**** YOU, go **** OFF." I couldn't believe it. I requested a manager and he gave me a card that has a 800 number for a job opportunity and the number to a person only identified as "Crystal", Which later proved to be a disconnected telephone line.

I purchased the Marlboro Light Menthol 3-Pack today at Circle-K that has the "Free Pack When You Buy 2" label and was charged for the package that was advertised as being "free".
When I inquired about the charge, the cashier indicated that the "regular" selling price of Marlboro is $4.48 (including 7% tax)??? despite the fact that the shelf says $2.99 and all other cigarettes in the store range for $2.50-$2.99 per package???
Clearly what this store is doing is raising the package price on only Marlboro and saying that this is the "regular" charge so that the store rather than the consumer benefits.
Interestingly, the receipt I recieved was rang up as a "miscellaneous" sale.I am pretty sure this was done to cover up what is going on. I do have a copy of that receipt if you would like a copy.
Obviously this is a scam and this store is not letting the consumer benefit from the free package. Unfortunately, I believe that the long run net effect of this type of pricing will be to drive consumers away from purchasing Marlboro because the shelf price has been artifically inflated over the other brands. Consumers who believe this is in fact the "regular" price will most likely choose other brands in the future.
Because I am a Marlboro smoker and was in a hurry, I paid the higher price this one time but I will not pay this price in the future. I believe strongly that the store owes me a refund. If there is anything you can do to get me that refund, I would appreciate it.
P.S. I called your cutomer service number listed on the pack today to report this and the lady I spoke to said she could not help me and gave me another 800 number to call. When I asked aobut whether I could turn in a statement about my concern online she daid that there was no way to do that?? I found this site by doing a Google search.

As usual, I will say, "Can I have a carton of Marlboro, regular menthol, sized 100" when I buy the whole carton of cigarette at any convenient store. My instant reply was "what! I am
sorry...! what...!" and this reply was even earlier than I spoke out the complete sentence for what I requested for. The tone and the scowled face accompany with this reply clearly
indicated that she did not want to serve an Asian guy like me (even less than 2 minutes), and the English not as fluent as the local people like me. This eyeglassed white female
cashier, with a piece of unignited cigarette in her mouth (I did not notice her name on her uniform) finally "understood" what I requested for and handed me the cigarette.
I paid the carton of cigarette by credit card, I was told to sign my receipt with a voice and tone that made me feel I was a prisoner or felon of some sort after incredibly carefully scrutinized my ID. I can not control my emotion any more, I still kept silent, I slided my signed receipt with a bit excessive force to her but not throwing it as she claimed I did
afterwards. "You don't have to throw it to me like that," she shouted. And she also shouted to me with 3 words before I left the store - DON'T COME BACK! Her colleague (an older lady)
also stopped to wipe the floor and turned her head to look at us with a shock. I said I won't! I really have no idea of what I have done to make her so upset about me.
Believe it or not, this is not the first time for me to encounter things like that at this store. Last time, couple months ago, same store, different person (also white female),
similar story, but not as outrageous as this time. I wonder if racial discrimination is one of the must-have employment requirement for this Circle K. As I said I just can not control myself any more, I rushed to my computer when I went home and googled out a site like yours by typing "orlando racial discrimination", and faithfully document what I just experienced
at this Circle K AGAIN.
I know racial issuses are rampant and omnipresent in this country. I learned that from books, I also learned that from what I personally experienced. But I know I should not keep silent any more, I know I need to do something this time, that's why you are reading my "story". I still believe I am lucky enough to live in a country which claims and is famous for having the soundest mechanisms to protect the rights of individual since some 2 or 3 hundred years ago, no matter what skin color this individal is, no matter how good the English language this individual speaks! I hope I am right about it!
I DESPERATELY hope that someone can do something, not necessarily for me, but to stop the things like that happen and happen again, at the same place. At least, let the employers of this Circle K knows what kind of person they are hiring. Be honest, I am a kind of scared, I won't go to that store again no matter what!
