On April 16, 2026, I had a scheduled 10:00 AM appointment at Andean Chevrolet for an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived early at 9:30 AM and was taken in promptly, but after waiting over two hours, I was informed at approximately 11:40 AM that the tire rotation had not been performed due to a worn lug nut, and according to staff, they did not even touch the car. This is concerning because the last time my wheels were serviced was at this same dealership when I purchased four new tires, and when I asked for clarification, staff could not provide clear answers and failed to address the issue or communicate during the entire wait.

A few days earlier, I had been turned away for not having an appointment, yet when I returned with one, I still waited over two hours while staff attended to other customers, including those without appointments, with greater urgency. Since this dealership was the last to service my wheels, this raises concerns about deceptive or incompetent work, as well as inconsistent and unfair practices in how customers are treated and prioritized.

Keep advertising a vehicle that is not on lot, keep saying it will be back today, since late October. Is this type of deception a normal thing? I am not a marketing person but this seems like loss leader or similar without doing anything but advertising it.

Unethical and deceptive dealership. They advertised a vehicle for $90,000 across multiple online platforms including their own website with photo attached for over four days, yet when I contacted them, they suddenly claimed the price was $98,000 — and had the nerve to say they’d “give me a deal” at $95,000. That’s not a deal — that’s bait-and-switch. This is dishonest, misleading, and exactly what gives car dealerships a bad reputation. If they can’t be truthful about their pricing, imagine what else they might hide once you’re in their office. Save yourself the frustration — take your business somewhere that values integrity and transparency.

While my experience with Andean Chevrolet started off well — I found the vehicle I wanted, and my salesperson (Mark) was responsive and easy to work with — a series of issues at the end of the deal has left me deeply disappointed and questioning the dealership’s integrity. First, I paid to have the front windows tinted as part of the vehicle prep. When we picked up the car, my wife and I both suspected the tint hadn’t been done. Mark repeatedly insisted it had — until we pushed hard enough that he finally admitted it hadn’t been completed. Only then did he offer to schedule the tinting. This kind of misrepresentation is unacceptable and erodes trust.

Second, we had a “we owe” agreement for all-weather floor mats and a cargo tray, with a clear plan: use the GM rewards I earned from this vehicle purchase, and the dealership would cover the rest. But when my wife went to pick them up, we discovered that not only were the new reward points used, but they also pulled $175 in points I had earned prior to this transaction — without consent. While Mark acknowledged the mistake and escalated it to the sales manager, we’ve yet to receive any resolution or reimbursement.

In both cases, the dealership’s actions suggest a willingness to mislead and avoid accountability. If you choose to do business here, be extremely cautious. Get everything in writing, verify what you're told, and check your accounts closely. A few good individuals don’t make up for a dealership that cuts corners and dodges responsibility when it matters most.
