Purchasing the warranty was straightforward and easy to understand. It was fairly easy to claim. I just call in the claim and the authorized shop that you go to follows up in getting in contact with Endurance. But sometimes it depends on the service as needed. Endurance has to send an inspector out, but then sometimes they don't.

The rear end of the car made a funny noise. This was a year after I signed up. I took it to the dealership. They diagnosed it and said it would cost $5,000. But they worked with me and said that they would call the representative. The representative from Endurance came and reviewed the claim. He diagnosed the problem to be a different problem that would cost less, which is fine. And they went ahead and fixed it. It worked fine after that. I’ve had a good experience. Endurance was very helpful.

Just wanted to get a quote from Endurance as my mfg warranty will expire soon. Customer service rep called I told her I was only wanting a quick quote. After she gave me the price, I said very good, she hung up without so much as a thank you, have a nice day, ** or anything. Worst customer ever, won't be doing business with them.

Endurance emailed me a packet after I was signed up. They said, “This is what's covered,” as far as the basic stuff. But they don't get into a lot of detail what is not covered. Also, I don't like that when I had to get my warranty work done, I had to get some of my seats repaired, and they asked the service advisor if I took my seats out of my SUV. I said, “Wxcuse me, excuse my language, but why would I take my seats out of my SUV?” And I don't like they said, “We got to see. Was this done?” Why would I damage something and they will get it fixed? My services on my Ford vehicle were when I had Ford's warranty service. There were no questions asked.

They will find a reason not to cover any repairs. Customer service is a joke! They will talk to you like you are an idiot. When you get to talk to a supervisor, they will not allow you to get 2 words in; they will just tell you that your repairs are not cover because it is due to “wearing out over time”. They are rude, disrespectful and do not follow through with commitments. I would not recommend doing business with this company at all.

I had a problem with my car and everything went real smooth. I called the Cadillac place and they told me that Endurance came out and did an inspection and that it would be approved in a couple of days. I called Endurance and the rep told me that I should be hearing something from them in a day or two. True enough, they contacted the Cadillac place. Then Cadillac contacted me and said everything went through. Endurance didn't hesitate or drag their feet. I was very pleased about it. Go to Endurance because they are the best in the house.

I bought the policy with Endurance about a year ago at Christmas, and I had a couple of small problems. The car broke down at a restaurant and there is a repair shop around the corner from the restaurant. They looked at it and they said that it was my thermostat. So, they replaced the thermostat. At that time, the repair guy said, “Oh, you got a fan motor that isn’t running.” So, he replaced the fan motor. It seemed it had taken care of the problem except about a month after that, it quit and my wife’s gone to work. Somebody looked at it and he said, “You need a new engine.” We had it hauled to the Ford garage, which was the closest one to where we were at. They looked at it and they said, “Yes, it needs an engine.”
They called Endurance and Endurance, right away, tried to find an excuse to get out of paying it. They kinda had 155,000 miles on it. They wanted to see every repair ticket we had. On a regular basis, we change our antifreeze at 50,000 and 100,000 and 150,000. I was always changing oil. I pretty much changed as the book said, but I didn't keep impeccable records. I didn't have any proof that I changed the antifreeze except that I had a receipt from Pep Boys that this one had been changed. The adjuster looked at the receipt, and it was for 154,000 miles. “The 4,000 miles over is lack of maintenance. We won't pay it. Goodbye.” I read the materials. There’s nothing that says you must have every receipt and that everything had to be done exactly as the manufacturer said. But as I talked to them, they said, “There's nothing we can do. You didn't take care of your car like you should’ve.”
I’m 90 years old. I've been driving since I was 14. I don't like to do things halfway. As a young person growing up, it's been a habit that every time I pull in a gas station, I raise the hood and check the oil. I always check and make sure there’s antifreeze in it. There was no excuse for that man being what he was. Endurance would not talk to me at all on the phone. All I have of options to do is put up some money and I’m going to arbitration, and I'm supposed to travel for this. I can't do it. So we junked the car and we bought a new car. We canceled our Endurance and they want to know why we were canceling it. I explained and I got no response from that at all.
Endurance never balked at changing the antifreeze or the thermostat, or at replacing the tire. I wasn’t happy there was only one tire. I wanted to change them all. They just paid for one, but I couldn't buy three more with it. They were too dictatorial. On this latest thing, I am extremely dissatisfied. I wish that they would make some changes in selling the merchandise. Never were we told that we had to have all the past history of our car's repairs, and everything had to be documented. We weren't told that we had to take the manufacturer’s manual and do everything as to the manufacturer’s way of saying it. This was never explained to us at the time we bought the policy. I won't go back to Endurance.

Too expensive for seniors on fixed income. Most people who drive older cars are seniors. Middle aged people with jobs can buy newer cars with warranties. Too expensive. Do I pay for medicine or pay for car warranty. Right now everyone is fighting to survive in this economy. Carshield was cheaper but Endurance happened to be in my area. What can your company do about this?

I used my Endurance contract for the first time this week and they knocked it out of the park! I have a 2015 Mercedes SL400 and had a covered repair done at the local Mercedes dealer. One of the hydraulic lines that operate the trunk lift has ruptured. The repair required 6 hours of labor, so you can guess what it would have cost out of pocket. Endurance fully covered the repair (minus my $100 deductible) with no problem. My service advisor said they were great to work with, covered the repairs, and were responsive when called. She said they were much better than some other companies they have had to work with. So happy I went with Endurance and am recommending them to others.

Endurance has been great. We did a claim when the car wouldn't start, and it was only a $100 deductible and they covered the rest. It was awesome. One benefit of having the warranty is them being there when the repair is needed. It's good to have that peace of mind.

Endurance came up to one of the best ones so I got it. The rep told me everything they were going to cover. overall, I've had some bad experiences with them. The first time I used it was about a year ago and it was up north. My car broke down and I wanted to fix it. Those people wouldn't call on the Endurance. They said they would give me the receipt and that Endurance would pay me if I send the receipt in. I did that and they refused to pay. That cost me $1,800.
The second time I used Endurance was down here a couple of months ago when the water pump went out on the car. The shop needed a radiator and a water pump. When they had the car all torn down, they found also the alternator should be replaced because the bearing was bad. He asked, “Why put it all back together and only in a couple of weeks maybe tear it down again?" The tech was gonna put the alternator in for cost and Endurance said they don't cover that because they consider that normal use. Also, I got rental cars but I didn't get anything out of that. In the end, Endurance only paid part of the cost. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

The plan options were good. The first time I used the warranty, it was a good-sized repair. Endurance was very nice. They helped the dealership quickly and took care of it. Recently, I had an oil change on my Kia Optima. The cost of the warranty is kind of high but it's that or being in a lot of trouble if I lose my car. I've been very pleased with Endurance. Both times, I needed it. And both times, I didn't have to come up with beaucoup money.

Endurance had good plans and I went with them. The only issue I have with Endurance is that they weren’t very upfront about the whole thing. I did a claim through them and I was paying on time. The problem I had was the amount of coverage that they did on my car ran out in December. It met the maximum amount they're gonna put out for my car but they never told me anything. They just allowed me to keep paying on a policy that wasn't going to fix my car if I had any problems. The only reason I knew of that is I had to have a CV joint taken care of. I made sure that was covered but they came back and said, “No, you met your maximum already. So, we can't cover it.” Who would want to pay a policy that you’re not covering anybody on?
Other than that, I've always had a great experience with customer service. No one's ever been rude. It's just that business practice is shady. If it came down to me suggesting somebody for a car warranty, I would have told them Endurance. Now, I have second thoughts about whether I want to do that. In fact, I got my mom into Endurance and she's got a newer car than mine. After what happened with me, she questioned whether she wants to continue.

Signing up with Endurance was a pretty positive experience and it seemed like a very promising warranty program. I had a few claims around Christmas time and I was surprised when they denied certain things that I thought were included, but turned out weren't included. For instance, my car has a turbo charger and the coverage that I bought included that. But they don't cover the most common causes of turbo charger failure. So they try to hide behind a lot of nitpicky. Where it looks like it's covered on page 12. But then you read further to page 22 and it says it’s not covered.
Another case was when there was a part that was damaged by one of the parts that's covered. When that breaks, they don't cover the parts that get damaged. So Endurance has some funny little things where they try and find loopholes. The next one was a part that finally was covered that they then denied. I called Endurance and made a little bit of a fuss and then they said that I was right and it is covered.

So, like many other good things in life I had to cancel membership and let it go too. Not my preferred move but not much options. Like I saying, everything is going belly up these days. I'm happy with them and I would recommend them. Some of the people that answer the phone calls are not as nice but the person that took care of me was very nice and helpful. I had to call during my break, and the time waiting period was long, until I had somebody to tell me that they were doing business in Central Time. We're Eastern and they told me I could call after 5:00 my time. The times were a little bit hectic for me because I’m at work 8:00 to 5:00. Endurance has 2.2 million people that pay them about $109 a month, so they have $238 million a month, times 12, which is $2.7 billion. They make more money than the auto manufacturers in the United States combined and actually pay the claims. Even if they paid 500 million in claims, they have the pockets enough to pay the claims, which is important to me. I find them to be a good company. They're very personable. They even have a little grace period on your warranty if you're late a couple of days on the payment. I did a small claim with them and they paid Pep Boys. The process was straightforward. They're good for the larger ticket items, too. They'll do transmission, every lubricated part. They do the air conditioning, the electrical systems, and the motors in the windows. They cover a lot of things. They're a reputable company and cost effective.

The first time I used Endurance when I had issues with my car, it was very annoying because it took too long to get paid. I had to have a rental car for more than a week, and they only paid for five days. I couldn't get some of the issues fixed at the time because they didn't cover them. So I had to put money for myself. I'm still waiting for the car to get fixed. I wasn't happy at all. That's why I cancelled my policy with Endurance and I haven't paid them because I don't want it anymore. Because when I was sold the product, I was sold one thing, and the service wasn't there the way it was sold to me.

It wasn't necessarily the best deal, but I liked the combination of price, how Endurance spread out the terms, and what I got out of it. I purchased a warranty through Endurance and canceled it for one car, then I purchased it for a second car. I canceled the first one because they misrepresented the warranty. They sold me a warranty verbally and certain examples for what I expected to get, but when I went and signed everything, they changed it. They didn't give me what they had offered me. I didn't catch it myself. So, when I went to go in for service, I found out nothing was covered. So, I canceled it because it didn't cover what I wanted it to cover. But I still went back to them only because of the pricing and what they got. I knew if it was covered, I had confidence they would pay. So, I had a good experience and a bad experience.

The last repair that I had with Endurance was extremely aggravating. There was something with a part they were disputing that was inside the oil versus outside the oil, and it was inside the oil. So it took taking the truck apart and Endurance denied it. Then, they went back through and explained stuff. They said that they would send out a technician. That was three days later. My truck was all apart so they couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t pick it up. They denied it and went back to it again, and continued to redescribe and send the pictures. It was about two weeks by the time they got it finally approved and through.
I paid the $100 deductible and there were other expenses that they wouldn’t cover so I ended up paying $800 on top of the $100. It was a $3,000 repair but I finally got it fixed. It was frustrating. The only one that worked on it was about 40 minutes away. The two people that I bring cars to locally, within 15 minutes away or right around the corner of my house, wouldn’t work with Endurance. Thy try to deny most of the claims. If you have a mechanic that’s willing to fight it, it seems like some of the time, it’ll work. So people should do it with a grain of salt.

The sales experience was excellent but it was frustrating the first time I needed to use the service. I was gonna cancel it. I provided the miles to the vehicle when I got the warranty. When I took the car to a BMW dealership to have an oil change, the mechanic penciled with the miles. But instead of putting 72,229, he put 72,300 miles. That number didn't coincide with the number that I had given Endurance, so they denied all my claims. I had to go back and get invoices from previous work I had done and invoices from work I had done afterward. I had to pull all that together and send it to Endurance to show them that what the guy at BMW did was wrong. I subsequently got it resolved. But I needed the work done anyway, so I ended up paying for the work that they didn't approve beforehand. But there was other work that needed to be done and Endurance paid for it because of all that. So it ended up costing me some money, but it is what it is.

Then they had to call Endurance, which took a few days to get through, and they had to come out and check it. In the meantime, I was having a rental car. It was for five days for $30 a day. That's a drop in the bucket of what you got to spend. When they decided what I needed, they had to ship their parts. They had to put a new transmission in and I had to get rid of it the last week because the transmission was acting up again and I really didn't want to mess with it. I don't think I would do it again because I spent a small fortune on rental cars waiting for Endurance to make up their mind and do what they had to do. And on my Lexus, they needed a new alternator, which was covered as well. So, now it’s running excellent. All I had to do was give the card and the list of those items covered to the mechanic when they brought it there. He called up and said he had no problem. I gave him the numbers and that was it. When I had to have a major repair that included timing chair work and alternator at a Cadillac dealership, the bill was 5,100. Endurance had an inspector come out. I was astonished at the amount of time it took them to approve the claim. We had two prior claims and those went through just fine. One for 800 and the other for 900. When the big one came, the car sat on the lot for a whole month, which was a great inconvenience to us because my wife was still recovering from COVID and that was our only car. We were catching rides and it was ridiculous. Once the inspector went out, he said they were only gonna cover $3,500 worth of repair. We had to come out of pocket for the rest.

So we put the brakes on and go to the next stoplight and stop and it died. We just took the car in and had it repaired. And it hasn't done it since. We used Endurance and I was shocked that it did not cover diagnostic coverage. They covered the repair. We just had to pay our $100 copay. So that ended up costing us $200 on the diagnostic fee.
We never got a list of anything that it covers until when we made a claim. They didn't send us anything. My husband talked to them on the phone, and they thought we all knew what they would take care of. Because in this case, it's always $100 copay. We understand that. But now, if we're going to have to pay a diagnostic fee every time we want to use it, they might as well say it's a $200 copay. And that was a little more than what we planned.

There was the sensor, the battery, the ribbed bed belt, the steering, suspension, a four point and they did a wheel alignment. Then it was some engine mount that they had to put on. Endurance covered everything except for one thing they were saying that they would not cover. I had to pay for the battery and the maintenance but they paid $53 worth of the battery because I had the Endurance Extended Warranty maintenance plan.
When I get an insurance plan, it should cover everything on the car because I'm paying for it. Even though I have the top-tier plan, the Endurance warranty still doesn't cover everything. They had to fix the ABS sensor but I was supposed to get the N80 valve fixed too. That would have been $1,100 and they didn't cover that. I told them to hold off on it. This last time, I paid $488.54 and the majority of it was labor, not even the part.

The car started to overheat while I was out of town and I took it to the dealership, and they processed everything for me. I ended up paying 500 and then, Endurance covered whatever was needed for them to cover. I was without a car for almost three weeks so that part was a little irritating because I had kids. I needed the kids to go to school and I had to get a rental. And that whole process was a lot. Then having the inspector come out to look at the vehicle took a long time. So my vehicle was sitting until an inspector came because the dealership couldn’t do anything until someone came and checked the car. Overall, I haven't had any problems. I never got a clear explanation from Endurance on why I had to pay 500 and something and neither did I get that from the dealership. But the dealership also said it was not up to them to approve. Other than that, I haven't had an issue with Endurance.

I had an issue with my car three months into my Endurance plan and the bill was $1,800, and my cost was $188.12. I had to pay the tax and my $100 deductible. Endurance paid everything else directly to Continental Tire and Auto Service in Sebastian and took care of everything. It was fantastic. They got me a rental car and paid for it. If I was out of town, they would have contacted the hotel and said that the car was gonna be serviced for five days. They would cover my stay for service five days and I just had to give my receipts for food. They haven't done me wrong yet. In the beginning, it was hard to navigate through Endurance’s system. Navigating from one person to another person was a little difficult and I never used them before so, the first obstacle was that, but it turned out great. I tell my friends about it, too.
The customer service is great. Setting up the towing was a little daunting because it's out of their hands. The person was supposed to be in my house at 7 o'clock in the morning and at 7:25, I got a message saying a new towing service is coming to the point that the appointment is gonna be canceled for my car to be fixed at the place. But I have this feeling that if I cancel the contract, then my car will break down. At the same time, I feel like if I have a major repair, that they will not cover it anyway, but I don't know what to do about it. They're not helpful.
My car had an oil leak and I needed a tune up and my brakes done, and the guy that sold the warranty to me was adamant that those would be covered, but they were not. And when I talked to Endurance, they were, “Well, no, ma’am.” That was it. My car ended up being there for nine days. They did the alignment and oil change, and those are what they covered. But I don't know why it took that long or why it ended up being that expensive. I plan on switching to another warranty company.

It started out as an alternator that went out, and I had my auto mechanic check the steering. And something else was wrong with the steering. Endurance had to send a representative, that took a couple of extra days. Until they decided that it was a bigger deal, before they would authorize a car, I didn't have a rent-a-car. I wasn't pleased with the last repair we had. The axle on the car went out and we ended up paying for a good part of that, so I'm kind of underwhelmed. I had to rely on the dealership to tell me what was and what wasn't covered by the warranty. Overall, Endurance helped some but not nearly as much as I expected it to. Also, I'm forced to take the car in to the dealer in order to have the warranty accepted, whereas I could have taken it into a shop that might be somewhat cheaper as far as the labor goes, but they don't take any warranties. So I'm not sure I want to continue the coverage.

Endurance's price seemed fair and setting up an account with them was pretty easy. I was traveling halfway across the country and had an incident from the time I left. The person that was helping me gave me the wrong information, and I sat for two months not knowing what was going on. When I finally followed up on it, I found out that nothing had been done. Then the people that helped me at that point were very helpful. I was told it was some new person, and she gave me the wrong information.
As far as the issue, one of the control module things went out, and it was causing electric components of the system not to run. I have a deductible, and I ended up paying almost $500. I'm like, “Well, that's $400 more than my deductible. What's really covered?” So, I called and asked about it. They explained I can get some back. Then I had a process to go through with it. My Cadillac had a component that went out. They ended up paying for what was there. The whole bill was almost a grand, and I had to pay $450. I got 300 dollars and something back from it.
I was not happy with the lady that was not very helpful when I called in. I took my car in right after the holidays. I took it in on the 27th, and I called them on the 3rd, asking what I should get reimbursed for. She kind of gave me some wrong information. When I finally talked to the right person a couple of weeks ago, I had a check in less than five days. So, it was exceptionally well. Had I just not had the experience with the unskilled worker, it probably would have been a great experience overall.

Also, when I was at the rental, I said, "Listen, I have an SUV because I have a baby, a big chair." and they gave me a regular car. They said that's what Endurance covers, a basic automobile. If you have a certain kind of car, they're supposed to cover for the rental for the time that the car is at the shop, and then they're supposed to give you more or less what you have. But Endurance refused to cover it. I ended up paying it out of my pocket and I was so disappointed. Because that's the main problem that triggered everything. If I did not replace it, it would do it again. It's gonna be stuck again, it'll blow up the engine again. Endurance just ignored me. And they don’t wanna reconsider.
At the time, they promised me a lot. And when the insurance got purchased, and I started to walk in, they told me they would cover the alignment. And it’s only $25 for alignment in one time for life. I said, “What’s the $25 will cover alignment for?” It’s not fair. They told me would cover alignment, but they told me it would be only $25 one time. The $25 is nothing, because you have to do the alignment at least twice a year. They also told me they would cover an oil change. So, I changed the oil. But because they were not working on Sundays and I had to pay out of my pocket, I ended up paying $102, but they only give me $50 for it “Because that’s what we pay.” I thought I got insurance, but it looks like it’s partial. I thought Endurance was upfront and the salesperson was very informative. But my opinion has changed drastically. I bought what I thought was a very expensive plan. It's close to $6,000. I wanted to make sure certain things were covered. I went to the auto mechanic because I have an issue with my car. For every one of the major repairs, I was told, "I'm sorry, that has to do with a gasket," or, "No, I'm sorry, that is not an internally lubricated part." I'm very disappointed. I was originally told certain things were going to be covered.
The ironic part of all of this was when I had spoken to somebody higher up, they said I could have just purchased the extended for $250 for seals and gaskets. I told them that I spend almost $6,000 to get the automobile covered. Why wouldn't I have paid $250 to have seals and gaskets covered? It was conveniently not mentioned. Also, Endurance covered an engine mount but they didn't cover a transmission mount. As I'm driving down the road, they don't care if my transmission falls out, as long as my engine is still going.
I called Endurance and I challenged it. My mechanic spent over five hours of his time on and off my car because I was having such a hard time getting feedback from Endurance. They then had an inspector come out. My mechanic said the inspector had no idea what he was looking at. He was not a mechanic and was just a figurehead. My car was in my mechanic's shop for over three weeks. This started in December and three months have gone by. I haven't lessened my total disappointment with the company. I have two cars with Endurance. Their customer service was great. Four weeks ago, I took my Chrysler in because it was making some funny noises. The shop here in town went over it real good. Everything went nice and smooth. It took him about four days to get the work done. They had me come in and they went over everything and then they called Endurance.
There was a little bit of a mix-up for the payment. Ended up they were sending it to the wrong email address. But they got that straightened out while I was sitting there, so the shop was happy and I was happy and the car’s been so much better. It was a $2,100 bill and Endurance picked up $800 of it. So I was pleased with that. When I first talked to the salesman, he said, “We even cover your oil changes and other required factory maintenance.” They don't cover a lot but I was just surprised they covered it at all. I paid for some of it. But every penny they paid, that’s less out of my pocket. I would definitely recommend Endurance to anyone.

I'm enjoying it well. But it would be nice if they'll offer a package that would allow users to have the rent to a vehicle for a little longer than a week. My vehicle was in the shop for a while and I was only able to get a vehicle for one week.

By far one of my WORST experiences EVER. I purchased this warranty for OVER $8,000 because I wanted to get the best package for my Mercedes SUV. I am a single mother who had just replaced 2 SUVs back to back and wanted to be safe the next time around. Also Mercedes replacement parts aren’t cheap. I opted to purchase because the sales rep offered me a dream if my car was to have any issues within the next five years. He said based on my past issue with my previous SUVs and the fact that I had a luxury car that this plan would be the best and I would be covered in any event in which my car was to break down or have any electrical issues. He even went as far as to research my car and tell my all the issues that have been reported with my make and model in the past. I was sold with the details and assurance he provided. But you guessed it, he lied.
So far my car has had 2 separate issues and BOTH times I was told by Endurance Car Warranty that my claim wasn’t covered. The first situation I had, my electrical unit stopped working. My radio, power seats, windshield wipers, power windows and a/c heat system stopped operating. Despite the manual saying they covered a/c, heating, electrical and luxury electric issues I was told they would not cover ANYTHING and had to pay out of pocket. When I inquired, the rep herself stated it should be covered but after talking to her supervisor I was told nothing would be covered because that particular electrical issue was not covered by the warranty. Now my car has an issue with the alternator. The belt that powered the alternator broke and damaged the alternator, the engine mount, pulleys and brackets. I was told a second time that none of the listed items were covered in my warranty.
When I attempted to get a resolution from the rep, asking her what can be done to help I was told I should have read the entire manual within the timeframe given. Absolutely absurd! Also the manual is written in a way to confuse women and those who are not knowledgeable about cars. The manual said they pay for “all pulleys” but then the rep says it’s only referencing all pulleys for the timing belt not the car. Someone like myself would not have understood that. All pulleys means all pulleys. Never again will I be tricked into purchasing a car warranty. I could’ve taken that $8,000 and put it towards my car repairs now and in the past and still had money left over.
The only thing I can say I received on behalf of ENDURANCE was a battery boost and a tile. They don’t even cover a comparable rental car in the event of an emergency. My car has been in the shop for a week and I was only given the option to rent a mini compact car for a maximum of 5 days. I have 5 children (hence the need for a SUV) and would have already maxed out the 5 days and my car is no where close to operable. Do yourself a favor and stay away from ENDURANCE. Be your own warranty/assurance and put funds away each month for an emergency car situation.. The down payment you would’ve paid to ENDURANCE can be taken and put into a savings account. Then pay $200 a month to that account for 3 years. At least if your car breaks down that account won’t tell you that you’re not covered. They can also teach their reps some customer service. Again….by far the worst, and I’ve flown Spirit!!

When I called Endurance, I was treated appropriately. They didn't try to sell me up on anything and explained how it all worked. I was satisfied with that call. The representative knew the product. The only glitch that I had was he didn't understand that I was in Florida talking with him. So when they switched me over to the sales department to do the contract, it was a slightly higher rate. I told them, "Wait a minute. You can't quote me one rate and then switch it to another." They immediately sent me to a supervisor who talked with me and explained and gave me some extra benefits by the fact that there was a misunderstanding. So I didn't cancel. Obtaining the contract was easily done through the phone call.
I went to the dealer when the camera wasn't appearing. The dealer pulled the claim up on the computer, called Endurance and said, "You're covered. It's going to be your copay." Then it was well taken care of. I was pleased that I filed a claim and it was handled expediently. So I didn't wait days to hear. I knew that it was under coverage within a matter of hours. I'm very satisfied with Endurance's performance so far.

I signed up with Endurance Auto Warranty and did everything while I was in a drive-through getting some chicken. It was quick and everything was good. When I took the car in on a weekend though, getting claim support and figuring out the rental car was challenging because the office hours aren't available on the weekend. There was a number for the dealer to call, but no one was answering. The main office was closed for customers, so I ended up having to call the dealer number to find out how to go about getting a rental car. Now, when I'm planning to take the car in, I need to take it in during working hours and take time off work.
Another point is, my car sat in the shop for almost a week for a day and a half's worth of repairs, because whoever was supposed to be inspecting it and the dealer weren't on the same page. They kept having to resubmit pictures. Since my account only covers rental reimbursement for five days, I ended up paying for an extra two for a rental car, which shouldn't have occurred. It wasn't like I was taking it to a mom-and-pop shop. I had a Cadillac and I took it to the Cadillac dealer.
I had an issue with the pump, and it seemed to be a standard repair job. I agree they gotta do due diligence and they couldn't come out on a weekend, which is fine. However, either the rental car period needs to be extended to cover the repairs if they expect it's gonna take all day to look at my vehicle, or they need to be able to have somebody that can respond same day so that repairs can get started. Also, with the reimbursement payment, I'm getting checks mailed to me. The money is getting taken out electronically. Why is the reimbursement not just a direct deposit or credited to my account?

Endurance is owned and operated by themselves. They weren't a third party and it's easier to get a claim through with them. I take my car in and I don't have to get another authorization. My most recent claim was for a burning smell and an alignment. I knew that wasn't going to be covered but they told me that it was my valve cover gasket leaking and they covered that. I paid $800 out of pocket for everything that they didn't cover from the total bill that was 1,900.
Also, I have the maintenance plan and it is useful because they cover up to $85 for an oil change. An oil change at the dealer is typically 100 bucks so that leaves me paying 15 bucks out of pocket, which is the cheapest I can pay for an oil change. Endurance has covered a lot and I've never had any hang-ups. I'm happy with them.

When my air condition was not working, I brought my car to Sarasota, Florida and they went through the Endurance process. It did take a little bit of time because of the cost. They had to get an inspector from Endurance to come out and inspect it. But then the inspector said, “Yeah, that’s the problem.” The evaporator was an item that was covered. The whole time, I had a loaner that their partner was Enterprise. But Endurance covered up to $50 a day for that loaner vehicle, which basically paid for it while my vehicle was being worked on. I have a 2006 Hummer 3 in excellent condition, but it reached 148,000 miles. Endurance said they will insure anything under 150,000. So they insured me and the radiator was covered. But when it went into Plaza Cadillac, it had a leak at the top behind. You couldn't tell it was leaking there unless you took the radiator out. Before the shop took the radiator out, they did a test to see and the pressure released because there was a leak in the radiator. But Endurance wouldn't cover the radiator because they said I drove my truck excessively. I asked every mechanic, “If I drove mine excessively while it was hot, wouldn't I have burned up my engine?” They said, "Yeah. Real fast." But I told them I didn't drive it excessively.
Endurance didn't agree with what Plaza Cadillac said was done about my car. So I kept trying to get back with the adjuster from Endurance, but they wouldn't talk to me. When they did, they just flat said, "We're not covering it." So I paid all of it because I wanted my car out. I took my car in before Thanksgiving, and I got my car out three weeks later. It was a long time and I wasn't going to fight anymore with Endurance. I took the receipt and I sent it in. I told them they can reimburse me because I paid for it. But they said they were not going to reimburse me for the radiator, and they didn't. It was a horrible experience. The customer service was lousy. I even had reps yelling at me on the phone when I asked for clarification and they told me, "No. I cannot speak with the adjuster, only the serviceman can."
They were going to reimburse me for my oil change and for taking another month out after I had cancelled the policy. I tried to cancel several different ways, but I couldn't get through on the phone. Then they said I had to email it in. They were going around in circles and I kept telling them, "There's laws against treating old people like this. And if you treat me like this, I know you're treating other people like this." So I'm still waiting on my reimbursement for the months they took out, which was wrong. I don't like their service. I also told them I'm gonna send them to Better Business Bureau. But it didn't bother them.

The experience signing up was pretty straightforward. It was very good. The only thing that I had an issue with was they were not very clear on their language. There's a waiting period. It’s 1,000 miles "and" one month, not "or". After I thought I had fulfilled the 30-day waiting period, I had an embarrassing situation where I took my car in to have it looked at, and that little “and” and “or” language came back to slap me in the face. I wanted to have all this work done and I couldn't because I didn't pay attention to the language.
I recently had a claim submitted and I ran into another issue, which was Endurance is not open on the weekends. So if you have any work done and are trying to pick up your vehicle on the weekends, you're not going to get it. There was no way for my service station to be able to process their claim effectively to get payment. So they wouldn't give me my vehicle back unless the bill was paid in full. I couldn't go without my vehicle because I use it to get to and from work. So I had to pay the bill in full, and then get reimbursement after the fact, which was a little frustrating.
The devil is in the details. So consumers should make sure that they are reading their policy absolutely thoroughly, and making sure that they understand how to process claims effectively. Other than that, Endurance has a great value. I like that I can budget it every month and know that there's not going to be a surprise expense because I have to get an oil change and that stuff is covered. That's nice for me because I like being able to budget. I live on a fixed income, so it's very effective for me.

But that surprisingly went smoothly. The only thing was I made my initial payment to Endurance and it didn't go out. I was late and they called probably five or six times. Every time I would say, “Look, I told you it's out. It's sent, you just haven't got it yet. Can you make a note of that?" What happened was a glitch on my end but they didn't have to beat me up with phone calls day after day. I set up an automatic payment through my bank account, which is working now.

The Endurance salesperson was great. We researched them and they seem to be considered the best in the marketplace. It's 2,500 bucks over time and then we're covered till 130,000 miles or seven years. It's for peace of mind insurance. We recommend it to people if they can afford it.

In order to fix their mess, they wanted to cancel the contract and have me to have the burden of starting a new contract. I almost canceled the whole thing. Whatever happened to GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Endurance gave me a good sales pitch. But their maintenances, I have to go read between the small print. I took my vehicle to the new Dodge dealer in North Knox. Endurance preferred to go to a chosen dealer but if you can go to a Dodge dealer, that would be great. I have a 2008 Dodge Avenger and it had 80 something thousands of miles on it. I had some problems with my transmission and I had some other noise with the front end making noises. The dealer checked and said the brakes were all good. The first time they checked they said the transmission fluid was a little brown but there was no metal in it. I told them it was shifting hard and there was a humming noise.
The dealer talked to somebody with Endurance and they said that it was a maintenance thing. I had to change the fluid then they would check it again the next time we had that noise again. I still had the noise and still the same shifting problems when I went back. I paid 300 something dollars to change the fluid and for the time they spent saying they checked my brakes out. Come to find out the next time I went there that my brakes were bad. I had new rotors put on it before I went to them. The brakes went bad on the left front metal to metal. I took it back to them the second time and they said, "Endurance would only pay for the brake shoes. They wouldn't pay for the rotors." But the brake shoes were the ones that caused the rotors to go bad.
Endurance said they would pay $75 for the shoes. I told them I would go back to my original mechanic and leave them. you.” My mechanic said he would change the rotors and brake pads and he won't charge you a penny. He said, "This is ridiculous what's going on for you. There's no reason for that crap." I agreed with him. I looked at the brake rotors after I got there and the mechanic took them off. The mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the rotors. But the mechanics at North Knox said there was. The rotors were too thin to turn. You don't turn rotors anymore. You throw them away.
I called Endurance and explained about the rotors and the transmission. I was told, "We had no information that they even did the work there." But I was there when the lady called them. I told them I would get ahold of the lady to call them. I'm waiting for the lady to call me back from North Knox. She hasn't called me back either. I'm not a fan of walking in and having to change my transmission fluid if it wasn't actually true. The transmission is still doing the same thing. I've had the wool pulled over my eyes. Somebody is not talking to somebody. Somebody is lying somewhere. If the brakes are bad and the rotors are new, why wasn't that taken care of instead of saying, the pressure was 135 pounds and I had to pay for them to read it all loud. I'm just so tired.
At the moment, I'm not pleased with Endurance. I had an extended warranty put on on my 99 Oldsmobile before. Unlike Endurance, those people didn't hesitate. They sent somebody out and they looked at it. It's not what warranty people do now. They just talk to somebody over the phone. I've been shafted. I've very dissatisfied and I'm tired of paying $112 a month for nothing.

When I was on the phone with Endurance, I questioned what the policy convers. The person told me everything including the difference between bumper-to-bumper and powertrain. He also told me how much it would cost and the initial amount. The policy covers towing anywhere and I could take to it any mechanic I want. The only thing they do not pay for is wear and tear, like tires and brakes. But they pay for things like anything with the front end. If I have to get a new engine, I'll get it and they'll deduct $100. I'm also entitled to rent a car.

I had the warranty for 45 to 50 days on my last vehicle and there were some stuff going on with my axle. When I called in to try to get it taken care of by my extended warranty, they wouldn't cover it because they said that it was preexisting damage already done to the axle. It was the first time it had been diagnosed for me and Endurance would not cover it. So, I had a bad experience before. But I've got a new vehicle and I decided to keep Endurance since I already had been paying into a contract. They said somebody had already taken care of it. When I went to have service on my car, I was told that mileage didn't add up. I've asked numerous times for them to send over a booklet that shows exactly what's covered. It's not different from the warranty paperwork that I had on another car before this where I was told that it covers all these things but it only covers the drive train and only part of that. I just called back in and told them, “I'm dropping the contract. Just keep the money. I'm outie. ‘Cause if it takes you guys this long to do this, then it’s probably going to be a problem if something happens to the truck.” So, I dropped them. I told the lady when I talked to her, “We're canceling this account. I don't want to have anything to do with it.” But she came back the next month and charged my bank account again. The person talked so fast and rattled of a lot of stuff while saying, "This is a recorded line" (which I didn`t hear) and I thought I was getting a good deal so I bought it. Well after I downloaded the paper work I noticed that we couldn`t use the warranty for 30 days, which is fine but I surely didn`t hear AND 1000 MILES. After I downloaded 38 pages of the contract and started to read it and I saw AND 1000 MILES I called and told them I`m cancelling. We are disabled and retired. We wouldn`t put 1000 miles on it for at least 4-6 months if not longer.
If anything would go wrong with the car within that 1000 miles we would have to pay for it ourself. PLUS we would be paying over 150.00 a month for the contract after paying 250.00 down at the beginning. If I WOULD of heard 30 days AND 1000 MILES I wouldn`t of gotten it in the first place knowing we don`t drive that much. So I cancelled and only got 230.00 back. Not my full 250.00 and I`m warning everyone about it.

When I spoke to Endurance, what they said made me go with them. The reason I cancelled my service is the dealership said they don't take Endurance. It took too long for me to get my money back and cancel. I had to go through different departments in order to cancel. It's crazy. Endurance emailed me something that I gotta get filled out, notarized, then get sent back. And it’s 30 days with them to process it. It took another two months for me to get the check. That was difficult. But everything is said and done now. You have to look around and find out who accepts Endurance. If you don't find anybody, it's pointless.

Endurance could work with the dealer and make it easier to pay the money. They're supposed to pay directly and not for me make a hundred claims and go through a hundred hoops to get the money. Today, 2/2/22 @ 2:25pm I spoke with a man who was initially nice but quickly became very pushy and rude once I explained to him that I wanted to review the quote with my husband. He tried twice, despite my objection, to transfer me to a manager to lower the price, basically insinuating I could not afford to pay the down payment, which is not the case at all. Once I stood firm in talking to my husband first, the man hung up on me.
If this is a representation of the customer service they provide, I would never go into contract with a company like this.
