I had to rent a car for five days and pay 930 something dollars before I could even find out whether my car could be fixed. I paid 934 and Endurance is just paying 150. I just ate the 150. They fixed my transmission. I had a lot of other stuff wrong with my car that I didn't know. I had to pay $4,800, but it would’ve been more with the transmission. So, I’m satisfied. It just took a while.

My first repair for my AC compressor was very smooth. The shop gave me a quote and Endurance paid. I had the car back in three days. But my engine went out and it has been treacherous. The rod bearing went out and I needed it fully rebuilt. Endurance didn't cover the full request. They covered 6,000 then I paid the 7,000 out of my pocket. The claim is still not completed.
My vehicle went in on September 21st and we're now going into November and it's still in the shop. Also, communication has not been so good. The shop would provide a quote to Endurance and they would say they didn't have it. They had to call Endurance and tell Endurance the quote over the phone. The quote was also passed off to an underwriter who had to confirm again. There were too many people involved.

Signing up with Endurance was relatively easy. The lady that I worked with was able to answer all the questions that I had in reference to Endurance and the different options that were available to me. She explained it in great detail. Endurance's service has been perfect. I needed an air pump changed. The length of time that it took to get the repairs done using the warranty was concerning, but it is what it is. Outside of that, it was good. They answered all my questions, and they gave me a heads-up on what was going on and when the auto inspector was coming out. They're nice on the phone. Even though I can get agitated, they kind of kept me calm. So, so far, my experience with them has been excellent.

I spoke with a representative and asked them different things that were covered under the warranty. When I set up for my coverage, he contacted me and gave me the information. I told him I would give him a call back and asked him to email me the stuff. He emailed it to me, and my husband and I looked it over and made a decision. Recently, I had a claim for some pistons in my engine. I brought the car to the Ford service on a Monday, and they contacted Endurance. Endurance told them that they were going to come out and see the car on Wednesday. They did not come and see my car till the following week. It was done almost till the next Wednesday, and I didn't get to see it till then.
At that point, Endurance said they were sending somebody out in 24 hours to check it, but nobody came. Two days into it, I contacted Endurance to see what the problem was. They contacted Ford and asked for my information for my oil changes. The lady said the ones that she was sending, they kept on declining. So I sent her some copies off of mine that I went to the places and got the copy. They accepted those, and to my understanding, they were supposed to make the payment. I'm not satisfied though. They should have never said that they were gonna send someone out to look at the car and take the entire week to come out and do it.
On top of all of that, Endurance charged more than the rent-a-car place. I noticed the rent-a-car place is there for $45 or less. Endurance had their own rates and it was $65 a day for a compact vehicle. I asked them why were they high, and the lady said, "You have to take their rates and they're only paying $30 a day." I had to pay the extra $35 a day. I told them, at that point, I really didn't even need it because I could have just used my own.

My experience was good, except the rep could have done a better job explaining the coverage. Once I started using it, I felt I was left with unexplained options. Things I thought were covered weren't. It was all good in the end though. I understood it once I went through it and spoke to my dealer. He explained more to me. Endurance covered quite a bit for me, so far. So, I got no problems.

We bought Endurance's warranty and utilized it for some repairs on one of our vehicles. And it was a smooth process. I had to get a transmission replaced. I took the car to a dealer, and they handled all of it. I paid out of pocket a bit, but there was a lot of stuff that was covered. I'm happy with Endurance. I had one claim, and the mechanic took care of it. My car needed a new transfer case and it was a pricey repair. For the most part, I did have to make a couple of calls just to find out what the holdup was. Other than that, Endurance covered all except for my $100 deductible. I was very thankful and impressed. The only frustrating part was I had my car towed to my local mechanic, and they wouldn't let him do a diagnostic. So, they made me tow it to the BMW dealership. Then they wouldn't take BMW’s word for it either. They had to send out their own adjuster. I was without a car for about three weeks. They said that they only cover the rental once the repairs are approved. By the time they were approved, BMW had it done already because I had to get it done whether Endurance was paying or not. So, their rental vehicle policy is not very good.

Endurance does what it says. So, I'm satisfied. They offered me three oil changes a year so I took advantage of that. Also, my CUE screen in my Cadillac was broken, and they fixed that. After the part came in, I was there for 30 minutes tops. It was quick. If they had my payment coming up a couple of days earlier prior to me getting paid, they would have had it fixed on the spot.

I took my car to the dealer and they found that the compressor wasn't any good. I was assuming that if the compressor isn't good, it's, essentially, the whole air condition system. So, they decided that that was the reason. Along with that, they did a whole diagnostic of the vehicle, and they realized also that one of my engine mounts had collapsed. So, they brought that to me, and then, in turn, brought that to Endurance. Endurance told them what they will or will not pay for within reason, and it went from there. I did pay my deductible and got my car back.
It was important for me to have a company that would cover the extent of the engine because if you're only going to cover certain things for an exorbitant amount of money, then there's no point in me having it. Endurance does. Also, I thought their pricing was reasonable. The enrollment process and just going through the whole process itself were seamless. On top of that, I wanted a company that wasn't going to push me around when I needed them the most and with this being my first claim, it did work. I had Endurance before, and then I went out of the country, and somehow totally forgot. They didn't call me. What they did was send some emails, and I was out of the country. So, it ended up lapsing the first time. Then I had to get them back again. Once I got them going, I felt like it was easy.

I recently had a run in that I was not pleased with. I'm on their Advantage Plus program and I have three vehicles with Endurance that I pay for monthly. I talked to two reps before getting an oil change and both reps told me that I would get a reimbursement for the oil change because that's something that's covered under the maintenance with these packages. I got the oil change but they denied my request. They said that the invoice wasn't written properly. I told the reps that I use Groupon for my oil changes and they both knew what Groupon was. They both said that it would be fine. I just needed to have certain information written on the invoice. I made sure all of those steps were followed but when it went through processing and claims, somebody else who's not familiar with Groupon rejected my reimbursement request.
They cut me off a whole lot when they were communicating. They were just trying to get their point across versus actually listening to me. A couple of other reps said that they would always put in the claim and then they would call me back but I never got that call back nor did anyone reach out to me through email. They could communicate a bit better. But I'm still all right with Endurance. I've used them a couple of times and they seem to pay out well.

Endurance's service is bad. There was a claim a few months back and they agreed to pay my dealership. My car was stuck at the dealership and I had to pay about $24,000 out of my pocket. They promised to pay 41,000 and in the end, they withdrew and said, "No, we're going to pay only $19,000." I was literally blackmailed at that time. I have a BMW 7 Series and I was with Endurance, and I've never had a claim for many years and I was fine. Then, I was in an accident, so I bought another BMW and I went to Endurance because I thought they're a good company. I wanted to sue them for the way they handled me when I filed the claim. I'll tell others to not even go near them. When I was in a jam, they screwed me. I'm going to resolve this issue and then I'm gonna switch.

I gave proper documentation, the mechanic did as well. Endurance blind transferred me several times, no answers, rude customer service reps. I was only asking for why it was denied and what would be needed to get it approved. Put on a silent hold for 45+ min to “wait” until the adjuster emailed the rep back. They say they will ONLY speak with the mechanic. How does one mechanic have ALL service records to a vehicle? This company is a scam.

I was told, dealing with Endurance, that I have to pay $100 and go from there, but Herrin-Gear charged me $4,000 to get it fixed. Endurance paid about 1,900 for it. They asked Herrin-Gear to get a used part to put in there, but if Herrin-Gear got the used part to put in there, it wouldn't have been on a warranty. I went through some stuff dealing with that. I recently purchased a policy back in August of 2022 and it has been an nightmare. So I was told that I would be fully covered and all needed to provide was mileage and vehicle information and had a wait period of 30 days and 1,000 miles. Which they said they would contact me to get the information. So I gave them a guess if the mileage, and was told I would be contacted the same day for exact mileage. Well they never contacted me like they said they would and so I called back to see what the issue was and they again assured me that I would be called. While on the phone I mentioned that the mileage probably wasn’t right on my contract and again gave them a random estimate off the top of my head which was about 139,552.
Well fast forward to October and I have issues with the vehicle and they get to have contacted me to update anything, they tell me I am denied due to incorrect mileage on my policy. Their excuse for not calling me was that I called them and didn’t give them an estimate for example 140,000 miles but instead gave an exact number and they ASSUMED this was correct due to many people not giving estimates with random numbers like that. They also went behind my back to check the CARFAX to try and find out the exact mileage by looking up repairs I had done in the past and taking note of the mileage quoted by the repair shops. So instead of contacting me like they should have back in august they waited until I made a claim to do the work to try their best not to have to cover the repairs. The repair shop mileage ended up being higher than the estimate I had given them so they said this was a “discrepancy in mileage” and denied me.
They also said a certain component of the vehicle was not covered due to certain conditions in the contract but I wasn’t told any of this when I signed up. I was told I had full power train warranty for anything and that I would be contacted to get all correct details of my vehicle. Both were lies. When I told the customer service representative all he kept saying was, "This is unfortunate and we can’t do anything, but cancel and give a refund or restart your policy and you’ll have to pay out of pocket for your current repairs." Total scam. Now I have to pay a tow truck to get my vehicle back to my house which is 180 miles away or pay out of pocket for repairs, and I will probably never see a refund from this scamming company!!! Don’t use Endurance. Try someone else.

I put my mom's car on Endurance and I tried for 10 days straight to get ahold of them. For the first week, I wanted to ask them a question. On the second week, I was trying to cancel that policy. I was on hold anywhere from a half hour to two hours, and still nobody was coming on to talk to me. So, I never could cancel the policy. I just called my bank and told them to stop payment on this reoccurring monthly charge. That was the second incident.
I have my 2013 Dodge truck insured with them and I had a claim that had something to do with my motor. I needed a new motor, and it took over five months to get anything accomplished and done. The body shop I was working with only gives out a little bit of information instead of, "Hey, this is what you need to do, 1 through 10, then you're done." They should say, "Well, she needs three oil changes." I need to prove that I had three oil changes. I tried to explain to them. I said, "I had two and the place that changes your oil has your records. I've only owned the truck for two oil changes. I don't know what happened prior to that." They weren't satisfied with that. The dealership called Endurance when I had a claim. But for whatever reason, they showed that the policy wasn’t up to date on payments. I was on vacation when I dropped off the car. They called me and they asked me a question. I said, “No. When I first signed up for it, I paid it in full, because it was a good savings by doing that.” They called me back and they confirmed that I paid it in full. I definitely recommend Endurance.

For our recent claim, the things that were repaired were the transmission and a water cooling valve. There was an old transmission with something to do with a transmission pan. There was also a timing belt. We paid our deductible for it. There were some other things that were not covered that we ended up paying for. But, all that stuff was transparent. That claim experience was good. The service advisor did a lot of the legwork. One time, we had to call in and speak with some of Endurance's technical support then linked them up with the dealership, but it was hard to figure out who dropped the ball on it. So we just tried to resolve that by getting both Endurance and the dealership on the phone at the same time.

That put my truck down three days for no reason. But they replaced a couple of parts on my truck. They covered the labor too. So, that's the good part. However, there was stuff that we were told by the rep that was covered that we found out later that wasn't covered.

One thing was not covered that ended up being a $4,000 fix, and I ended up having to come out of pocket. It was the gas valve pipe. I later found out that Endurance doesn't cover that once looking over the review. At that point, it's like I'm eating up the cost so I was a bit bitter about it. The service has been better than I thought. I bought a car in February. It had a bit under 100,000 miles on it, so I wanted to make sure to get everything done at 100,000, like my contract said. But the auto repair shop didn't put something on my invoice that they did. Endurance came back to me and wanted to deny a claim because of that, which I understood. At the same time, the shop told me they did this. I jumped through hoops and got the paperwork from the shop and made sure that they got it over to them. But I never knew why Endurance reached out to me specifically as opposed to the shop. I'm sure they have a service record. Outside of the struggles I've had, they're good. They cover things that you would expect them to recover.
Endurance should have the customer send in service reports just because I know what's going on with my car so their customers would feel they're not being put in a position. Because I did. They still cover things. If it's doing what it's supposed to do and you're abiding by the contract, you're covered. That is what has been happening ever since I worked through the last issue I had.

I called Endurance when I was living in California and the gentleman who signed me up let me know that I couldn't get the coverage when I was in California. But I was getting ready to move to Gulfport, Mississippi at the time, so I ended up getting the service. I had a 30-day wait period, plus $312 deposit and a thousand miles to comply with. But the trip was 2,000 miles from California to Gulfport and I was moving almost within that 30 days. I got here before the 30-day expired and I had the thousand miles, so everything was good.
After I got here, my radiator started to leak. So I took the car in and got that done. Then recently, my transmission started acting up. So I took the car in and ended up getting it replaced with a used transmission. They had some difficulties getting the right transmission so I had a rental car for a month instead of a couple of weeks. I sent in a copy of the rental agreement and all I'm waiting for now is reimbursement for part of my rental car fees.

Endurance has been fairly well. They're good in certain ways and they're bad in other ways. They try and protect themselves too much. I've had some transmission problems. My sons got them. And I just bought the vehicle. Between them and the Chevrolet place where they bought it, they didn’t put more than 250 miles. Where they bought it did the warranty with them before they left the Chevrolet dealership. Now, they're having problems between Endurance and Chevrolet. The policy was paid out in cash with Endurance and it all was paid for. So, that's something they're not liking too much.
When you buy a vehicle that’s a 2016 and you leave the yard and the man tells you you're covered as of now with the warranty, and you leave and you come to Montgomery from Tuscaloosa, and you leave and ride around a bit in Montgomery doing normal chores, not even for a week. They didn’t have the truck for a week and something's going wrong with it, and Endurance didn’t wanna stand that they bought the policy from them. They say it's something that happened before.
The way they explained to me the policy was when I bought the policy, that if there was anything wrong with that vehicle before, I didn't know about it, so they would cover. It didn't matter what it was. But now, they told the person I told about my experience with Endurance, to try and get Endurance some more business, they said that because something was wrong with it when they drove off the lot before they bought it, that they wouldn't gonna cover what's wrong with it. So, I said, “Will it go around in circles finding out if that is right?” And I'm sure nobody would think that right, but it's between Endurance and the car dealership.
They did me right on my truck in certain areas, but it had its problems, too. And they did a few things that I didn’t like about it. But they said it was a hose to my air condition that went bad because the Chevrolet garage said so. But it wasn’t a hose. It was some O-ring inside of a steel hose and they wouldn’t cover that. But that was the Chevrolet place in Prattville messed up. The warranty with Endurance ended up messing up my whole compressor.
I talked to the customer service. They're good. They want to renew my policy and all that. I had to cancel it because there were some I didn’t understand with the limited liability on that. When they sell you a policy, the limited liability is only what the value of what they say your car is worth. My truck’s a $10,000 vehicle, but its book value was 3,500. So, that's all they would pay for. So, if I had any more problem after $3,500 or $4,000, it wasn’t more than 4,000, then they wouldn’t allow me for.
In other words, if I still pay the $105 or whatever it was a month, if I had any other breakdowns besides something that was minor, that would have cost maybe $30 or something, or maybe an oil change, they would stuck up to it because I still had the policy. But I didn't end up doing it. I ended up having to cancel the policy because I had no more warranty with the vehicle. So, I'm on my own right now. But it's better than paying $105 like I was doing with it. It's all good, but it's all bad, too.

When everybody is on the same page, it's okay. I had one repair at Mercedes Benz that cost me $700 because they were only covering so much because of the amount of the hourly fee that the mechanics get. Endurance was covering 135, and their mechanics got 175 or 180. It was high. So, they didn't cover that. But recently, when Endurance came out and looked at the car, the whole thing was approved. They said they had to rebuild the whole transmission. I just wonder if I went to a bigger transmission shop if things would have happened sooner. But I'm done with it and I'm driving. So, everything turned out all right and I just had to pay the $100.
Once things were hashed out, they took care of their end. It cost 4,500 to fix the transmission. They ended up taking care of the whole problem. They took care of the whole problem when everything was in the works and they didn't say, “Well, we're not going to do this or that.” They just signed off on everything. So, I'm happy.

I did have to initiate a claim to Endurance and it was easy. I was able to get the vehicle towed to a dealership, and I got it in there for service. They went ahead and gave me a diagnosis immediately. The bearing failed, so it dislodged and it was rotating, and it damaged the front of the housing. So, it was causing a leak because the seal wouldn't seal anymore. Because of the way the contract is written about gaskets and seals, they weren't going to cover the water pump even though it was not repairable. So they had to send an investigator out. They went ahead and looked at the part and approved it but my vehicle was in the shop for 16 days when it could have been in and out in three.

My experience with Endurance was horrible. I chose them because of suspension and I had a claim recently. I thought it was covered. The policy that I have covers suspension. But they never specified exactly what. I have a 2016 Chevy Suburban, fully loaded, LTZ model. It's a magnetic suspension. My suspension alone is about $3,000 worth of work. When you buy the part from GM, it says strut shock. Because it says shock, I'm not covered. So, it's almost like they kind of bamboozled me into it.
The turnaround time to get your vehicle back is so long and excruciating because of their ways of doing business, having to send out an inspector after the mechanic had just told them, “This is what needs to be done.” But if it exceeds over a certain number, they have to send an inspector, which takes a number of days, and then a number of days for whoever sent that inspector to approve the job. It’s so time-consuming, it's not even worth it.

Endurance sent a bad transmission, and now they have to redo the transmission again. I've been out of a vehicle for over a month. And the guy that sat there and sold me the policy told me there were a bunch of different things that were included, and now they're saying that the one that I got does not include that stuff. I feel I got misled a bit. But I'm hoping that they fix this transmission that they sent that is draining the battery. Because that mechanic shop said that it's something in the internal parts of the transmission that the electrical stuff is just staying on all the time so it's draining the battery.
I can start the truck with a jump in the morning. I drove it three days, and every morning, I have to get a jump. And it does fine once it gets a job, but it's draining the battery. And the only way that they figured out it’s nuts is you unplug the transmission from the actual plug that does all the sensors, and it does fine. There are no problems with the truck. The battery is fine. Brand new battery. Because they thought that it was the battery, so I had to buy another one. The alternator is going good. It’s the transmission. So as you unplug the transmission, everything runs great. No codes, no signals, no nothing. And I’m getting frustrated because I'm spending a lot of money out for a service that is not saying that anything is covered a lot of times.
I've got mixed feelings. I thought it was cool how fast they were willing to do the stuff on the transmission when that happened, but what's going on with the door actuator thing? That is not covered, but the guy told me that I would have some type of Elite Package and everything would be bumper to bumper just like if you had a factory warranty. If that was the case, the door lock thing that, for some reason, the passenger side rear door doesn't work anymore. And I took it to the mechanic. They sat there and did all these diagnostics. They said that was what the problem was. And I was, “Okay. It's supposed to be covered under the warranty.” They called to and tried to get it done under the warranty, but it wasn't. And I ended up paying out almost $300 in diagnostic fees for it to not even be covered. And the door actuator’s another $300. So I told them I couldn't afford to fix that right now.
Everybody else has been nice. And it's almost like they get you to get in, but it's, “Well, no, sir. This is actually what you got.” And I wish that they would actually send out a paper copy instead of going over there and doing a little app thing on the phone. And even when I talked to the guy the last time, he said, “I can send you one if you want one,” but he seemed like he was aggravated when I said something about it. But to me, if I get a car insurance policy, even though it's online, they still send you a hard copy. The warranty is no different than a car insurance. It covers the parts of the car if something is to break down where otherwise just in case you get an accident.
I like how they give you some maintenance and money towards maintenance. Something that got me also is they required me getting a transmission flush, even though it wasn't due for a flush with the mileage. It hadn't reached the manufacturer suggested to get the maintenance done on it. They did put $25 towards it. But I had to pay my mechanic $600 to flush a transmission that wasn't even an issue, and they still sent me another transmission. So, I had to pay the $100 deductible. I paid $600 for transmission fluid to be put into a flush and filter and fluid change to be done on a transmission that’s not even mine anymore. It went back to Endurance.
Luckily, it worked out in the right time, because it ended up replacing that transmission, but still ended up having to deal with all the other stuff that was going on that it seemed like I was not getting the help from Endurance that I was hoping for. Because I shouldn't have to pay $600 for transmission fluid flush that wasn't the problem. If they opened it up, and they found out that that was the problem, that should be a maintenance issue that I needed to take care of. But if they found out that that wasn't the issue, that's where Endurance should have paid for it and I should have just only had to pay my $100 deductible.

I was without a car for that long. It was very difficult. I don't know why it took so long. They sent their representative to look at it and take pictures. Then they had the repair shop take it apart and then take pictures of the failed parts. It took them another three weeks at least to decide to pay for only one part. Paid for the rear end and then paid for the other, and we were out $3,500. They didn’t cover the part. They said because the gasket leaked on the transfer case, that they would not cover it. But the problem was with the parts where they couldn't be serviced. They were non-serviceable parts. If I noticed that it has been leaking, if it was a normal part, I could have put fluid in it. But there was no place to put fluid to service it, neither the rear end nor the transfer case.

There have been some questionable moments with Endurance, but I guess that's with any warranty contract. Some things are covered, and some things aren't. I don't know what the contract entails for how to get top-of-the-line coverage. There's a Basic, a Plus, and then there's everything that's included except wear and tear items. I don't know how to get to that point. It would be good if there was a clear tier system where it shows if your car falls under this category, you qualify for these types of warranty coverages, rather than calling and not being able to read or look at the contract beforehand.
I did have a problem once with a driveshaft issue that was related to the suspension. Apparently, that was the only thing on the suspension that is not covered, which is weird. They were pretty good about the other claims. In the beginning, it was kind of troublesome when I first had the contract because there was a disagreement with the mileage. All that got resolved. The person looking over my account was very helpful with that.

Endurance's website was easier. I was able to find the information to contact them. And I liked their pricing model, because I had different options. My recent claim was huge, and I'm thrilled that they covered it. It was for the turbocharger in my Volkswagen. We would have fixed it out of pocket just because there's still value left in the car, and that would be my daughter's car when she starts driving in the year. I met the deductible, and there was stuff that I still had to pay. So, I had to pay for the diagnostics. There was additional work that they recommended to be done that we went ahead and did that wasn't covered. So, all in, we're still about $2,000. But it was better than 6,000 that it would have been.
All in, it was about a month. So, that was a drag. But the claims process was fine. It’s a couple of days there, it’s a couple of days there. It’s scheduling time in the shop, it's waiting for parts. All these things. And it just adds up. There was some miscommunication around getting an inspector out. That cost us a week, so that was frustrating. But in the grand scheme of things, I work from home. So, it's not like I needed the car. I don't like feeling stranded, but it wasn't a huge deal.

I like Endurance. Endurance is great. They offer good service. This is my fifth car with them, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. It’s peace of mind. Most recently, I did a claim on a hood that would close on you if you're under the hood. Another one was for some weird vibrations when you drive. There was an air conditioning issue as well. It’s like a strong whistling sound with the air conditioner when you turn it on. It's super annoying. Once we did a diagnostic trying to figure out what it was, it turned out to be the compressor.
I've only had a couple of circumstances where Endurance denied a claim. With one, I talked to the manager and they turned it around. They fixed it. The other one was ridiculous. I have referred Endurance to my friends and both of them had bad experiences. I was kind of embarrassed that I referred them. I was like, “Dude, I'm telling you. I've had so many cars with them. I've never had that problem.” My friend was like, “This is really one of the worst warranties. I don't know why you recommended them.” I was like, “Well, I don't know your car and your situation, but I know my car and I know my situation. I know what falls under the warranty and what doesn’t. So I don't bring it in for wear and tear items. I bring it in for things I know should be working and now they're no longer working.” I would still recommend Endurance regardless of the occasional bad experiences.

I was sold a 5 year warranty contract and upon reviewing contract there were several errors in it. It states I have 60 months of coverage yet the contract expiration date is in 1.5 years. I called the company and was told it was obviously an error and it will be adjusted in 2 business days. That was over a week ago. I sent an email to find out when it would be resolved and have not gotten any response back. Today I called and was told that since my vehicle is a 2019 they can only have sold me a 2 year policy which would have been fine if that's what I was initially sold. I am being charged for a 5 years policy but am only getting a 2 year policy so the company says.
To add further insult to injury the expiration date is only a year and a half away and not 2 years. How can a salesman not know what policies he can sell. I am beginning to believe that this was intentional and not an error on their part. I have tried contacting the company for a week to get this involved. No one has returned my emails or calls to get this resolved. Again to summarize this I am being charged for a 5 year contract and money is being taken out of my account but I only have 1.5 years of coverage.

I did a claim with Endurance and it was a bad hassle. I was about to leave them because they straight declined everything even when the things were covered. So, I had to get it reopened months later after fighting for it. My sunroof had messed up and I thought it was an easy pop and fix because when I hit the button, it just made a weird noise. I went to the drive-thru of the service lane at the Mercedes shop and I spoke to the visors if they could see if we can just pop them. He said it was gonna have to be replaced. It got jammed. I said I didn't know if that was covered in my warranty. But I spoke to someone prior to bringing the car back in and it was.
I told the visors to do a diagnostic if they find anything else while I was in here. I know that my warranty covers it and to let me know and just submit it to the Endurance. So, they did. Then, Endurance called me and said that they received a phone call and they declined everything due to pre-existing. I was confused and asked what they meant by pre-existing. They determined that everything could not have had happened all in one bunch. I said it was just a sunroof and it was out of my 30 days, 1,000 miles thing. And they did a diagnostic.
Every time I called, every representative was saying they just worked there and didn't see any notes in. All I could do was resubmit it to them and wait for someone higher up to say something. I contacted multiple people through their emails as well. They stopped being responsive at the time that I just reached out to figure out any update. Then I came across one representative who told me what it was going to be and Endurance reopened it, brought the car back in and they were able to get my sunroof fixed. But everything else was still declined. I wound up paying out of my pocket for the stuff to get fixed.

Two claims were denied because I didn’t have the right mileage done on my car. And the last one was approved because I had the mileage on my car correctly. In order to use Endurance, they told me that when I first filled out the application to use them, if you’ve got 340,000 miles on my car, they said I got to add 1,000 miles more on your car before Endurance warranty kicks in. I was still under that 1,000 miles. Even though I waited three months to use it, I still wasn’t over that 1,000 miles. So, I had to wait until I get over that 1,000 miles, and it was active then. Also, the process was a lot of time. It took a week before they did my claim. And I had to wait two more weeks to get my car repaired. It was a time-something thing. I’m thinking about canceling them.

Everything’s been favorable with my experience with Endurance. Yesterday, I called them to get them to reimburse me for my windshield wipers. I'm an Elite member and that’s one of the things that they cover. But they explained to me the only way they could cover the windshield wipers is if I would have gone into an auto repair shop, to have some work ticket. I said, “Why would I go into an auto repair shop to buy some wiper blades when I can go to AutoZone to buy for quite a few dollars and put them on myself?” But I understood the reason, so I didn't get upset at that. I just said, “Okay, no problem.”
I also filed a claim on my timing chain that needs a replacement. Initially, I took the vehicle in for an auto shop. But, they did not contact Endurance. They also took so long to do the work. They kept my Cadillac for two weeks. So, I took the car from them and took it to the Cadillac dealership. The Cadillac dealership did it in four days. They also contacted Endurance. They did all the legwork. I didn’t have to do anything. All I had to do was go to the original shop and get a zeroed-out invoice because that was what Endurance wanted because I moved it from one shop to another.

Every time I take my car to the dealer, they had a problem with it. Everything they claim they cover, they don't. They didn't cover one of the shocks and the thing that holds the brake lines from the shock. They also didn't cover the mirror and the electrical. Recently, the alternator went on my car and I had to pay part of that. They didn’t want Volvo to use theirs. They had this third party company send the alternator to them. They put the alternator in and the car still wouldn’t work. They wanted them to send another one and the guy said he wouldn't. Endurance made them pay for putting it in and I paid 300 and something. I was gaslighted. The rep said I got the highest package and things will be covered. But when it came down to getting my car fixed, everything was denied. I had to spend $5,000 getting my car fixed the past month and that's the price of the policy. I've been paying Endurance monthly. So, I'm wasting money now. When I first got the policy, the guy told me everything would be covered on my motor. I went to get my oil changed and that was the first thing Endurance didn't accept. They said they couldn't accept the receipt for me to give me my credit. It was $150 because it's a Mercedes. So they were supposed to give me a $50 but they didn’t give it to me. So I said okay. I wasn't worried about it. It had to get done anyway.
Not too long after the oil got changed, my ABS light came on so I took my car to the shop because that’s a part of my brake system. I told them to contact the warranty people because I got a warranty. My ABS module was out and Endurance said they didn't cover it. I said fine and got it fixed. When the rep ran the diagnostics on my car, my check engine light came on and she said that I needed a alternator. She said the alternator was covered but I had to get the battery. So right now, I'm still at $2,000 for this service for what I had to come out of pocket.
A few days after that, my ABS and my check engine light comes on again. The policy says the manifold is covered. On my particular car, you can't just fix the manifold. You have to replace it and it says manifold base. When they called, the rep said the manifold wasn't covered. So, I had to come out of pocket for that. I looked at the policy this time and it says intake manifold. It also says exhaust manifold on there. The rep said Endurance was saying it was not covered. I called Endurance and talked to customer service who said my manifold was covered. They were asking for a piece of the manifold and I said that was impossible. She said my manifold has to be replaced. You can't just fix the part that malfunctioned on the manifold and they shouldn't have denied my claim.
I went back to the shop and the rep calls them, and the exact words were that nobody in customer service should have told me anything about claims because it's not covered. And the rep said it snappily. So I said that there was no point in arguing about it. I’ll just cancel that policy when I get a chance to, because right now, I gotta figure out how to get my car out the shop. I have to fix it. This is the worst experience I've ever had at an insurance company because I don't have this problem with my other policies at all.

It's messed up that Endurance doesn't tell you that you gotta add certain stuff in your plan before you find out that you need to add it while you're doing the plan. That’s a big miscommunication that Endurance might have with people. What you’re paying for is messed up. They pay for it, but they don't tell you you gotta add certain stuff for certain stuff to be covered. You get tricked a bit. They just paid for a seal on my transmission. But at first, I had to upgrade my plan. Because I initially had a different plan, and I had to upgrade my plan. So that was a big hassle when I thought that it was already covered, but it wasn’t.
I had some minor stuff. But you pay for everything you gotta get done. But that heavy stuff, like engine and transmission, you pay for. It's not good because you still gotta pay for $800 shocks. You still gotta pay for $400 brake jobs. It’s so much stuff you still gotta pay for. Why do I have this insurance stuff? If I’m paying them all this much money, it should cover all that stuff. But it doesn’t. And it would be specific. It would be, “We’ll cover this. But if this part on this goes bad, we won't cover it.” If you replace this thing, you had to replace the whole thing anyway. So it would be half sometimes. They did a good job. But it’s stuff that needs to be fixed and need to be brought to their attention. That's not just them. It’s all extended warranty companies that I'm talking about.

I made sure before I purchased the extended warranty, that I had a very long conversation, which was also a recorded conversation, with the lady that helped me purchase it and made sure of a lot of the entailments, including how she strived on the fact that Endurance uses new parts, and anything that's damaged is taken care of. She reassured me on everything, that Endurance was this outstanding company. My vehicle went into the shop for a rocker roller that was down, which damaged the camshaft. It also stopped up the oil pump. Anybody that knows anything about vehicles knows that these rocker arms in a 3.6 liter are notorious for going bad. This isn't something that just happened because I neglected something. Not to mention that I have outstanding service records on the little bit of time that I've had it.
I spoke with the shop and they sent me photos. And even though it was a used vehicle, it was 170,000 miles when I bought it, there's not a drop of varnish or sludge in it. It's a super well-maintained vehicle, even before I got it. So, Endurance claimed that it’s continued operation, even though the vehicle was taken to a shop as soon as the noise was noticeable. I couldn't help it that there was no check engine light nor was there no noise presented. I can't determine that there's a part that failed internally in an engine until it gives some type of reason that it has a failed part.
Nobody in my area that's close takes Endurance. The customer service is zero help when it comes to getting my vehicle taken to a shop as far as being towed. I've called multiple times to try to figure out where to take it, how to do it and all the process. I had to do it all on my own with no help with that. I drove my vehicle to a first shop, which is an hour from my house, and the vehicle sat there for three weeks. I was told I couldn't get a rental vehicle, even when I have three disabled children, until something was approved. So, after sitting there for three weeks, the shop still hadn't touched the vehicle. So, it needed to be moved to another shop that could get it in and look at it so that I could have something to make sure my kids could make it to school instead of having to beg people for rides.
I drove the vehicle again to another shop. So now, there are two continued operations where I've driven it. But it's no fault of my own. The shop was to put an engine in it because there's metal contamination. After the engine was declined, they stated that they would replace the rocker arms, lifters and camshaft. At this point, I didn't even realize that this was only on the front thing and I had already authorized the shop to do a teardown, willing to pay out of pocket if need be. So, I agreed to the shop because they were only willing to cover that. I told the shop that it was pointless because I spoke with a supervisor with Endurance and explained the whole situation to him about it and he told me that he has seen some vehicles that were just horrible looking from this and full of metal. And that I can change the oil a couple of times and they can be fine on it.
I either take the little bit of help that Endurance is willing to give me or I take nothing. So, I paid the $1,200 and something out of pocket to have an oil pump put in there myself, which helps protect Endurance because that's another part they are gonna have to cover. Then, while the shop was doing the job, they removed the rear valve cover and saw that there was another rocker arm that was down and another camshaft. Endurance argued with the shop and instead of paying for all new rocker arms and camshafts back there, they approved one camshaft, one lifter and one rocker arm. So, I still got all the other ones that are old. My vehicle could go back down at any point for one of those older ones that have 180,000 miles on them now, which I'm terrified because Endurance is just going to stiff me again some way and I'm going to be out of pocket again.
It’s costing me more money than just going out and fixing the vehicle to begin with, by the time you get done paying for all this. And then, Endurance doesn’t want to cover anything. They’re trying to find any way they can to get out of something instead of doing what's right on something that is out of my control. I’m still keeping Endurance but I’m not happy with it and I have zero faith that if anything goes wrong with my vehicle, they’re gonna cover anything. They’re just here to get my money.

Endurance replaced my turbo. That was a big covered part. The problem that my service advisor had was getting ahold of the customer service. Also, Endurance should be covering more than what is advertised. If you have an oil pan that needs to be replaced, it's not going to be replaced unless it's damaged from a covered part. That doesn't make sense. I had a gasket seal that needed to be replaced. Even if they can't cover 100%, they could give an incentive to have it because I have the extended warranty service.

My transmission started going out on my Nissan Rogue. I was driving down the interstate, and all of a sudden my engine started racing like it was out of gear. I pulled over and I was barely making it home. I took it to the dealership. They diagnosed it and contacted Endurance. The problem was Endurance doesn’t have enough inspectors or appraisers. It took him almost two weeks to get over and approve it. But other than that, I was very happy. It was 5,000 and I just paid my 100.

Endurance gives peace of mind that if something happens, you don't have to worry. I had a claim and everything was fine. We went to the dealership and they handled it all so we didn't have any problems. The claim was for the alternator, the battery, and something else. There were the struts or the bar line. The dealership had my car for a few days each time.
I like the fact that the payment company sends reminders to let you know. That helps out. We get set up on auto pay and we've never had any hassle. It's been a pretty smooth transition from day one. I also like the fact that if you want to cancel, you can cancel. So far, Endurance seems to be really fair and honest. I recommended two people to the auto warranty and one of my friends went with them.

I took my car in for transmission work. The mechanic took forever to do it even after I called him and Endurance said they’d cleared the funds. Three days after he did it, my car stopped while I was on the highway. I ended up having to get it towed to a new place. I asked them if they took Endurance, but they told me, "If you already got it fixed, you should be able to take it to the same mechanic and he should fix it.”
The mechanic picked it up with one of his tow trucks and claimed he fixed it. I'm driving it now, and it doesn't go over 60 miles per hour. I'm scared to accelerate it past 60 because last time, it stopped on the highway. Something inside the hood rattles aggressively. It wasn't doing that before I turned it in. I'm not sure if I should talk to him again or if I should tell Endurance or what I need to do going forward because it doesn't feel fixed at all. But as far as Endurance's service, it's quick. They wanted to help me. The service was delayed, but it was the mechanic more so than Endurance. There was something about Endurance saying that they needed the part number, but the mechanic was taking forever to give them that.

I filed a claim to Endurance and their claims process wasn't so good. I brought my car in to Cadillac, and I told them that I had Endurance, and they asked me for my policy number and some kind of other information. They called Endurance and arranged for the claim for clearance. The car had to sit there for a day or so because Endurance had to send an inspector to look at the car. Cadillac couldn't even start working on it. Then the inspector verified it and supposedly approved the repair. Cadillac found that after they made that repair, there was another problem, and Endurance didn't want to pay for the other problem because they had some excuse that it was due to a clog.
Endurance paid part of the repairs and then they said, because the other repair was due to a clog, it was not covered. So, I had to pay an additional $1,500 plus all the taxes on all the other repairs and the $100 deductible. They specifically said that the air conditioning was covered, and it wasn't really covered. So, I feel like they just make up a bunch of excuses when your car breaks to pay for as little of it as possible. Even the dealership told me, "Well, they made up some kind of reason that didn't make much sense to me. They said you can call them back." It was too late. The repairs were done, and I had to pay for it so I could get my car back. I feel that Endurance lied to me when they told me everything was covered. I also had to have a touchscreen replaced, and I had to pay for that too.

There was a motor leak and from the time my vehicle got to the shop to the time I brought my vehicle home, the communication was unbelievable. Every step of the way, I had to fight Endurance to even cover it. It was the worst experience I ever had in my life. I just brought it back to the shop the other day because the guy told me to bring it back after a couple of weeks. They wouldn’t put a new motor in, so he ordered everything that was on top, which probably, they should have put a new motor in. So now, the main seal is leaking. They’re waiting on Endurance to okay it.
Nobody ever told me that I was covered for oil changes and maintenance. So, the argument that I had back and forth with Endurance is that my son owns a car repair place and because my son just did my oil changes and stuff, I purchase the oil. I had to go back to Advance Auto and make them pull up the receipt showing that I bought the oil for my son to change it.

I had a claim recently, which they paid off, which was great. But I had to rent a car and they only reimburse $30 a day. The car rental I can only get the cheapest here in Knoxville, Tennessee was 44.75. So, I had to eat the difference. They only go up to $150 max and I had to rent the vehicle for two weeks. They need to update their rental reimbursement. With inflation, you can't get a rental car with what they're reimbursing. That's the only complaint I have about Endurance. Other than that, everything else is fine.

Endurance has a target plan in mind. I went with almost the top tier but they didn't go over how much difference there was between that and the top tier. They could have gone a little bit more in-depth on the details of the plan and on the maintenance portion of it and how that all works. On my first claim with Endurance, I called their 1-800 number that they give you off the bat for the towing. I had the vehicle towed right away and it was not an issue. Then, the dealership took care of dealing with them. I gave them my policy number, paid my deductible and I was done. The second time was a little bit more severe. My transmission went out. So that was a little more in-depth because they had to send out an adjuster. That involved multiple phone calls.

The contract needed to be rectified before we could even execute it so a customer service manager had to get involved finally to fix it. I reviewed something on Carfax and Endurance said that somebody entered my odometer readings wrong last January that completely violates my contract, but they were happy to sell me a new one, which was beyond idiotic. If you can't figure out that a tire place entering your odometer reading wrong is the fault of the tire place and not me trying to game the system when they have lots of correct odometer readings, that's not a reason to invalidate a contract. So that part of it was poor. But the actual services rendered was very good.
Endurance fulfilled their contractual obligations. The problem came from super long wait times to get in touch with anybody to rectify the issue with the contract and the complete inability of most people that I spoke to over three and a half hours in one day to do anything about it. But when somebody finally in a position to make a change and with the time to listen to me, we finally got on the line. The customer service manager that I finally spoke to was fantastic. He totally got it and was very apologetic. He understood how frustrating it was and fixed it. In the end, Endurance got it resolved.

I love the type of insurance. It helps to have that security and peace of mind. You pay every month, and they cover big expenses, if they come. However, the process, at least here on Maui, of getting something cleared, can take sometimes up to two weeks to get it authorized. You're without a car in that time. The speed with which Endurance authorizes claims is not ideal for us. There could also be more communication from them. There's only one person here on Maui that does all of their adjusting, which is why it can take so long.
We took our car in last time for the transmission. They cleared it to be fixed, but the Endurance adjuster told the dealership where we get all of our work done that this was the last claim that they could do because we've maxed out the policy over the six years we've had and that we would need to apply for a new policy, which I did. But I didn't hear that from Endurance, I heard that from the dealership. Weeks went by, and I still hadn't heard anything from Endurance about that. Then something else happened with a car, and I brought it in just to see. Again, the adjuster said that no, they couldn't do anything more in the car until the new policy got done. I still haven't heard anything from Endurance which I didn't think was the best. But I like them enough, and they have helped out enough that I am continuing the service.

Absolutely the biggest scam going! After purchasing an Endurance warranty product on my 2007 GMC which had approximately 180,000 miles at time of purchase, I went through the 30 day waiting period, and accumulated over the 1000 mile probationary period. As original owner of the vehicle since new, I was headed to work one morning, and the vehicle would not shift out of first gear. I took the vehicle to my local GMC dealer, and they advised that the transmission would need replacement or rebuild. The dealer contacted Endurance with regards to vehicle diagnostic repair status. Endurance was very quick to advise that problem was preexisting, even though I never had this problem prior to this event.
Endurance said that the transmission had low fluid, was slipping, and gears were worn out. The adjuster was a total jerk and was disrespectful to the service director. Endurance has no basis to deny claim as pre existing since there was never an issue prior to this event. I am still driving the vehicle and experiencing this intermittent problem. Endurance did not open the transmission and gear box therefore only assumed that the transmission is worn out. Their customer service is horrible, when you sell a high mileage vehicle warranty they are assuming an inherent risk of mechanical failure of the vehicle. That's why I purchased the warranty to protect me against such failure. Endurance is useless and I recommend against purchasing their product. They lie, and try to weasel out of any liability. Do not consider purchasing their product.

the finding, even though I called. It was weeks later, Endurance did. It’s more of a no follow-up did not occur, no communication. That’s why it dropped that. It was a lot of miscommunication between Endurance and the automotive shop. It was so much pointing fingers. When I put in the car, it was a monthly payment for them. If there's a request or a repair, they should be following up. It was just, “The people said they’re waiting on parts.” “Okay. But did you talk to Endurance or something?” It was too much. It could have been handled better. More communication. I took the car to the shop. They made sure I wasn’t walking. I had a loan. But I’m the one who paid my premium, not them. Or they could have been seeing on the repair shop to see what’s going on with my vehicle. It was none of that.
Once I got in touch with them, they got in touch with the field person, they immediately went to see the car. But I had to call to find out why they haven’t been there. They told me to take my car Monday. “We’ll be there to look at the car Monday or Tuesday.” Monday and Tuesay came around three times before he got there. So, that was very disappointing on that part.
Everything was dropped. But they did not let me know my payment was still coming out of my account. They need to make sure it doesn’t become a repeat for people. Because it’s bad. I get a lot of sales from different companies. And I’m not gonna switch. But my first experience at purchasing a warranty for my vehicle wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

There was also a wheel hub that was acting funny and the air distribution box stopped pulling out of one of the vents. Generally, the repair went good. I had to wait for the parts which was the bad part but that was because they were coming from Germany. Endurance covered everything but my deductible. But every time, for each item, they had to send an inspector out. That would take two days then it’d take another day for them to input what they thought then approve it. I understand they got to protect themselves but that added more time. The total time of repair from the time I put my car in until I picked it up was almost two months.

To purchase Endurance was easy. However, they don't answer the phone. They offer you all these incentives when you purchase the warranty, but you can't use them because the app is not friendly. There's no substance to it. Even when I had a claim going, all it does is, “Your claim is in process.” It gives you no updates. There's just no content or substance to the app. Also, their website is atrocious. And the office hours are horrible. You're an auto warranty, and an auto service, emergency roadside. You should be 24/7. You call them on a weekend, they're closed on Saturday and Sundays.
From the process of when we contacted them, it took a few days. And it took a weekend to get them to approve the claim. So, it was extremely slow. And they nickel-and-dimed my mechanic. And they didn't pay for certain things. So what I thought it would be my deductible, cost me five times what my deductible was. For example, in order to pull the transmission out of the vehicle, you got to take the fluid out of transmission, correct? Endurance refused to pay to put the fluid back in the transmission.

When I took my car to the dealership, they said, “You need a transmission,” then I said, “Plus, I hear some noise in the car.” They saw what was wrong with it, then they called Endurance and told them that the car needed fixing. Endurance said, “Wait until we send our guy out to check it out from the dealership.” I said, “I know, but it's the transmission, so I'm not going to be able to drive it. We already know that it needs a transmission. So, I'm going to need transportation.” It took forever for the guy to come out, and I was stuck with no car for two weeks. I had to take Uber back and forth to work. The other bad part is they did not cover everything, and I had to come out of pocket about $7,000. Endurance is still good, and I'm still with them now, but they can be a bit faster.

I was under the impression, when I got this warranty, it was more of a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The way the salesman explained it to me made me think that I had full coverage on my Chevy truck, and I thought I would never have to touch anything on this truck. I can understand normal wear and tear, but when my first problem happened with the truck, and I was talking to Endurance, apparently, I didn't have the coverage I thought I had. So, there are things that aren't covered that I thought would be covered.
Endurance gave me the book to read, and I never read it. I’ve had it for so long, and with my Dodge, nothing ever went wrong. I bought it new in 2012, and it had a three-year factory warranty. I knew I was coming to an end and figured I'd better protect myself. I started looking at extended warranties and ended up calling Endurance. It sounded like something I wanted, so I went with them and I’ve had it for quite a while. The extended warranty has been very good because I think I bought a lemon. I’m having multiple problems with my Chevy truck, and it’s only got 30,000 miles on it. It's a 2019 Chevy High Country, which is the top-of-the-line truck that Chevy makes, and it was $70,000 when it was new. I should have kept my Dodge.
When my passenger window wouldn’t go up, I took my Chevy truck in and the dealership called the insurance company. They had to get the okay from Endurance before they can look at the car. They said, “Go ahead and fix it,” and within two days, I had my truck back and the dealership charged them $500 for the repair. Endurance was fantastic. I paid a little extra, but I got zero deductible, which I really like. One time though, it took them a while to get their appraiser out there when the power steering went on the truck. It turned out to be $2,500 in repairs.
I can understand if they have to send their appraiser out to look at it to make sure the auto place isn’t ripping them off but the truck sat there for quite a while and the the dealership wouldn’t give a loaner. They said, “Well, that’s up to your insurance company.” I thought I would get a loaner, but I didn't. Other than that, I've been perfectly happy. If there were more stars, I would give it to Endurance. Within the last three months, they have dished out close to $4,000 in repairs at the shop. New trucks are absolutely ridiculous. You can't even put new pads on a truck without going to some kind of system because everything's electrical. Now, I'm having problems with the brakes, and I'm afraid it's gonna have to go in again. I hope Endurance doesn't drop me.

My car broke down in the middle of the highway. Something happened with the water pump and one of the hoses. The dealer fixed that. And then they said my transmission was acting up. They changed the whole transmission or they fixed it. My car was in the shop in Orlando for over two months and I live in Miami. Endurance only gave a five-day rental. I asked them to give me an additional five later on because I still have to rent a car. We were lucky to have another car that we could use but it was an inconvenience for us.
When there's a breakdown that's that big. Endurance should have probably given an extended rental that was more than just five days because sometimes, it's going to take a long time. The reason that car was at the dealership for over two months was because there was a lack of communication between the dealer and the warranty company. I kept waiting for no reason because they told me at the end that they were waiting to see what happens. The other party said the same thing. If I didn't get on the phone and started talking to both, it would have gone longer for me. In the end, they managed to resolve whatever approval they were waiting for.
Now, I'm just still waiting to see if Endurance is gonna call me back regarding the additional five-day rental that I did. They haven't followed up with that. I called and they haven't called me back. I was on the line with somebody for a long time and talked to him. The guy was looking at his notes and saw something that they talked about that with me but they haven't done anything with that. It’s been about a month and I'm going to call this week to see what's going on. That aside, everything else was okay because my car got fixed. The warranty did what it had to do. For the first 5-day rental I did, they sent me a check that was $150.

Every time I call for a claim, they come through. The last claim that I went through with BMW was like pulling teeth because they kept denying it until they spoke to the BMW foreman for them to explain to them exactly what was the problem with my car. Then they asked for all this paperwork. Eventually, when they proved to them that it was a problem, they proceeded. They paid for it. Other than that, they’re good and reliable. Whatever my car is covered under, they took care of it. I'm satisfied with Endurance.

The shop called me, told me what was wrong, and submitted the problem to Endurance. They said that they would send somebody over to look at it, and if that was covered under warranty, they would fix it. Four days later, I got a call saying that they were gonna cover it. Your adjusters act like they know what they're talking about, but they totally backtrack when speaking with a trained professional (and regardless of what the professional says...they still don't listen). They make false statements and try to justify paying as little as possible (even when it's clearly stated that the problem with the vehicle is covered in the contract). Zero sense of urgency (unless they're trying to get your money to sign up for a new or more expensive plan). This has been a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend Endurance to anyone. Unfortunately, I paid in advance for my coverage and now I'm stuck dealing with this for an entire year. Not a happy customer.

I used Endurance for my Dodge Ram pickup truck. I had come back from a trip and the transmission was not shifting correctly. I took the truck to my mechanic and he said my transmission has two clutch packs that were going bad. He told me how much it was gonna be and he reached out to Endurance. Endurance gave him some paperwork to get everything processed and within a week, an inspector came out and validated what he had said about the truck. Two days later, they approved it and in a week, the transmission came in and the truck's back on the road. Being that it was an aftermarket warranty, I kind of expected a little bit more of a hassle but there wasn't. The more stalking thing was having to have to validate what my mechanic said but I understand they gotta protect their investment. Other than that, the process was really good and smooth.

I had an issue with the transmission and I paid $2,195 out of pocket for it. I wasn’t pleased with that at all. I thought they were gonna pay the whole amount from what they were saying and what I was advised they would pay. They should have had better communication. Also, there was an adjuster that needed to come out and look at the transmission. But before that happened, I had to take the vehicle somewhere and they needed to do something about the heating and cooling and I needed to pay $300 for that. I thought that was awful. I’m out of pocket $2,500 for something that the adjuster at Endurance should have given a couple of phone calls and reached out to us. They should have been upfront with what the car needs and what they're willing to pay towards it and not just out of the blue, “Here you go. Give me your money.”

In the beginning, I had a bad experience with Endurance. When I filed my first claim on one of the vehicles, they gave me a big problem saying that I had altered or changed the tires so they were denying my claim. It was very frustrating to me, as a consumer, that they kept saying that I altered it when I didn't. I had to go through the dealership and get the dealership to write a letter to show them that nothing had been modified and everything was the same. It was a big hassle and I was very displeased. Then, they never contacted me directly. They contacted the mechanic shop and told them that it was approved.
They could be upfront and explain the policies instead of just selling a policy. Take time to explain, find out what we have, and find out what we're paying for. Their reps were very good at selling it but I don't think that they were experienced or had the knowledge to go in depth with what I was purchasing. There should be additional training provided. The last lady that I talked to when I purchased a policy the second time because I just got another car, she went through it a little bit more. I really like Endurance because of the research I did on it and the price was reasonable. I'm still there because I want to do business with them. I just want them to be fair.

Our Ford had to go in the shop and it was a month before I got it out, and that was because of a vendor that they selected and the time it took. I was out a lot of money on a rental. It was not a good experience. They selected the wrong vendor. That vendor sent a transmission that didn't work and then the transmission had to be programmed both times. They dragged their feet to get a new transmission over. That place was horrible. But Endurance kept trying to help, but it was not completely something they could work with that easily. They would call them and tell them they needed to take care of it. I like Endurance and I definitely wanna stay with them. But I don't like that they cover the rental for five days and that's it. Then you're back on your own. They should extend. If it's not the customer's issue, and the customer's been trying to work with it, they should try to work with you a little bit harder there.

I had to file two claims with Endurance. One was for a small oil leak, which was coming from a gasket. That was no problem. Easy peasy. Had the car in the shop and it was done the next day. Then I had to have some transmission replaced and that was a nightmare. I called them to make the claim and they proceeded to tell me that I had a warranty with another company.
I got this warranty from my mom's passing and I took her car. I had already called them. I've changed the policy over to my name. I said, "There's no other policy. No other warranty on the car." They were saying, "No, that's not what the CARFAX says." I said, "I don't know what you're talking about." I kept calling but nobody would give me a written answer via email. They said, "We're denying your claim because you have another warranty on the car and you need to prove to us that you don't have another warranty on the car." They are so shady.
After a week, finally, the guy called me and said, "We found out that there is no warranty on the car and that we're going to proceed with your claim." I said, "Okay." They said, "We're going to send an adjuster, to look at the transmission to say if the transmission is bad." I said, "Okay. How long is that going to take?" They said, "Probably that's another three or four days." The guy came out there and said the transmission was bad. Endurance came to me and said, "The transmission is bad. Did you have any work that you've done on the transmission?" They wanted me to show them that I've done my part of maintenance on the car. It seemed like they were looking for every possible out to pay for that transmission.
They ordered a transmission. It was a used transmission and the transmission got there. That took a couple of days to ship the transmission. That was another four or five days into this repair. Endurance sent the transmission over, the dealership said, "I'm not gonna put this transmission in your car. This transmission's **." He said, "I've talked to Endurance and they're gonna send another one out." He was having to deal with them, which was another issue too because, he said, "Trying to get ahold of these people is a pain."
I called Endurance and said, "They got a bad transmission. Now, I'm supposed to turn the rental car back in in a couple of days." The lady at Endurance said, "We'll add in another additional five days." After dealing with Endurance and all the shadiness that they had already done, I made that lady email that to me. I said, "Can you email that to me?" And she did.
I'm currently fighting because, now, when I went to go turn the rental car back in, I called Endurance and said, "Why didn't you guys add another five days? You just added five days to the rental. Why didn't you just add another five days?" They said, "You need to get in touch with our reimbursement department." I've done that and I've sent them a receipt. I said, "I've forwarded the email from the lady from Endurance saying that you guys were going to pay an additional five days. Why aren't you paying it?" I'm arguing with them for $125 because of something they said they were going to do. From the time I first made the claim to the time that they approved the claim, ordered the transmission, and were gonna send it, took 18 days. I felt like they were dancing around. They didn't want to fix it. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

I learned about Endurance through my pastor. He was scrolling through the net and looking at it trying to get an extended warranty. I had the opportunity to talk to him while he was signing up. They were talking some good deals that I could not refuse, like if you're on the highway, away from home, and your car breaks down, Endurance will put you in a hotel. They will make sure you get through each day until your car gets fixed and that everything is good.
They do everything in a timely fashion, which I love. I just had my transmission that went out on me and my AC, and both of them were done in record time. I had to wait for the transmission ‘cause they have to send somebody out to make sure it was really the transmission, but once they sent that out, I got a phone call from the transmission shop. All has been approved, and by that Friday, I have my car, and I've been driving. Overall, I would recommend Endurance to all of my friends. People that I don't even know, I tell them they need to drop their extended warranty and go to Endurance. They're good. The payment is a little more, but I said, “Well, you pay for what you get.”

I talked to a manager about the cost of the warranty and he came down in the cost of the contract for us. So he worked with us at the very beginning and we were very happy with all of that. But I am very upset with Endurance because they did not take care of my car in a timely manner. My car went in for work in July, and they didn't send somebody out right away. They finally sent somebody out, and they turned around and waited a while. Then they wanted to know how many oil changes I've had, which meant nothing to what the problem was. So then the guy from GMC sent the oil change information. He called a couple of days later. They said they didn't receive it so he sent it again. He called back again. Endurance said, “We didn't receive it." He said, “Yes, you did because I've sent it. Look into your files.” Sure enough, there it was. Now we're waiting a few more days for them to look at the oil change stuff.
Endurance said they needed to send somebody back out. All this time, days were going by and rental fees were going up, and it ended up that they sent out somebody again. Then they put us on hold again because somebody had to read the report. Finally, they okayed to have the car done. But it accumulated $800 for rental fees. They were going to reimburse me 150 of that, but I still have not seen it. I've called and sent emails and I still have got no responses. I called Endurance yesterday and talked to a person. We were on hold for quite a while for him to go to another department to find out if the check for 150 had been sent. Finally, we both agreed that we didn't want to be on hold anymore and that he would call me back later in the day, but he never called back.

When I was in Orlando, when they were trying to get in contact with Endurance, the wait time was too long to secure payment. So, I wound up paying out of pocket. They reimbursed me with no issues for the first segment, but it was too long of a wait. But all of that is driven to the personnel and COVID.

Endurance had the best offer at the time. Also, the initial consult was decent. Their rep was very helpful. I had several claims on my vehicle. The first three claims were denied. And the last claim was a camshaft on my Mercedes. There was a process in getting that approved. They wanted two to three oil changes and prove that those were legitimate oil changes. So, it took over a month to get it approved. They dealt directly with the service provider, who informed me that they declined initially because of one of the oil changes. They said that the mileage was not in order with all of the other mileages on the oil change. So, I had to call and speak with a representative to let them know that I did not falsify any information.

Everything has been super good with Endurance. I'm very pleased with the way they've paid on claims. I've had the hydraulics on the hood and the tailgate on my SUV repaired and my vehicle had a leak in an oil pan. They took care of that. It was a very, very pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Endurance has some of the better coverage. So, their total coverage is what you need on a vehicle such as mine. But I don't like that they put in third-party parts. Other than that, everything is going perfectly.

Very Bad customer service in claims. Treat people very rudely and ask to speak to a supervisor she said someone will call me in two weeks. I had my turbos go out and need my vehicle repair. Give me a hard time.

Endurance gives you a hassle. Sometimes they are not a reliable company because they send you through hoops. They try to look for the smallest thing to drop you or say they can't fulfill the claim. I've been having to prove myself for the last year, and I don't like that. I told them I was gonna take that up with a lawyer too, because I couldn't keep trying to prove myself to them because of something they didn't wanna pay for or them trying to find something in a loophole that didn't look right. For instance, they say the mileage is off by 1 mile. On my first claim, they said the issue was preexisting. I had to prove to them that it wasn't. They don't run smoothly and I explained that to the manager. I recommended them to four people. They didn't pick up the claim for my next-door neighbor who had them for three months.

My claim experience with Endurance went okay, but it took over a month to get the vehicle fixed. They gave us the number of Hertz to go get the rental car but none of the dealers that we went to had any cars. So, I ended up spending almost $3,000 out of pocket on a rental car. I would still recommend Endurance to a friend, though. We had some out-of-pocket expenses, but that was for a repair that wasn't part of the original claim. So far, there was no money out of pocket. My only complaint is they need to extend the rental car coverage if the repair takes longer than five days.

I've had this policy for 2 months and this is the first time I've used it. I needed new brakes on the front of my Lincoln and my mechanic didn't think the warranty would cover any of it due to its being a normal wear item. He put it through anyway and was surprised when they said they would cover $140 of the repair plus the oil change for $50. Although it didn't cover the whole bill I was happy that it did cover $190 of the total which was a big savings to me.

The air conditioning of my vehicle wouldn't work. They said it was the evaporator coil was leaking and they had to replace that. They had to pull the whole dash out for the replacement. The claim process with Endurance took a while, but stuff like that happens. I was satisfied 'cause they fixed it. They covered it 100%. I would recommend them. They did what they said they were going to do.

The mechanic and the person I dealt with at Ford were very nice. But Endurance refused to give me a transmission that was rebuilt. They wanted to put in a used transmission, which was a terrible idea. So I had to pay $2,500 because of that. I'm not real happy with it. Also, I still haven't received a refund from the car rental. I'm thinking of getting out of Endurance. It's not worth it.

The warranty with Endurance was good and that’s what made me purchase them again. I had a good representative and a bad one. I reached out to the representative that was good, and she got things squared away for me. Everything is going well. One thing I do not like is the wait time for an inspector. I get that it’s the process but in the meantime, I’m out of a vehicle while I'm waiting on the inspector. It's a 48-hour window to wait for the inspector then 24 hours after the inspection. It’s three days before we get an authorized repair. The plan is also overpriced on one of my vehicles. Other than those, I have no other issues. I’m happy with Endurance.

When I put my vehicle in, it was a problem in the beginning because I asked for a transmission, and they gave me a bad transmission. So I had to go back to the shop. When I went back, I was pretty sure Endurance couldn't give me another rental. I thought the shop would give me a rental because they gave me a bad transmission. I was asking them for a rental and they said they would give me one, but we got to talk to higher people up. So at the end of the day, I just got a rental myself and left my car in the shop for three weeks. But Endurance worked with me. So far, so good.

I'm very upset with Endurance. Although I don't wanna cancel my insurance, it's just unfortunate. It took 53 days to get my vehicle back. If there's anything that walks slower than it's now, it would be Endurance. It was like sitting, watching a snail walk, and there was nothing I could do about it. I just had no choice but to sit back and wait it out. I also got a new transmission but I have hotter transmission numbers than I did before. I just wanna be free and clear and think nothing of it and move on, yet I still have some transmission problems. With this situation, I'm very dissatisfied.

My claim with Endurance was for the front end that was shimmering and my engine light was on. The claims process took long because I was constantly waiting for the place where I had taken my car. They told me that one of the arms had come off, the reason why it was shimmering like it was. The guy told me he couldn't take it for a test drive because it was shaking too badly to put it out on the road. But when I had gone back, my car ran well. There was one thing that was supposed to have been done.
The mechanic there showed me a paper for 500. The guy in the service department that deals with parts and service of the vehicle showed me them putting in this piece for $520. He said that the work was supposed to be about two and a half hours to put that part on. But putting the part on didn't finish until they gave me my car back. The engine light was also still on. As far as my timing chain, I couldn't see anything wrong with my timing chain. When I got my car back, it wasn't right. There were some things missing.
It took seven and a half weeks before I got my car back. That was way too long, especially not having any transportation and trying to go here and get around. That was really a big inconvenience after waiting all that time. I was also told at the beginning that I had a new car warranty and all these parts were covered. But then once I got there and we were talking about the things, they said those things weren't covered up under my policy.

My service advisor told me that there were some companies that they had a harder time dealing with. And they told me that Endurance was one of the easiest ones that if I put in a claim, it was one of the easiest ones to process. I have a BMW X5, and I had a message on my dashboard. I brought it to the dealer. When I took it to the dealer, I told them that I had the extended coverage through Endurance. And they said not to worry about anything. That they would contact Endurance and file all the paperwork with them. And when they checked it out, it came out to almost 24,000. I ended up paying 800 out of pocket total for some things that weren't covered. But everything else, the dealership handled for me. So, I was happy that I had the coverage. If your car is out of warranty, look into it.

My air condition unit was messing up so I took it to BMW because I have an BMW electric car. They said they were having an issue with Endurance paying the bill so I had to pay half. Endurance paid one part. I had to pay the other. The guy at BMW told me all the parts were covered. But Endurance sent somebody down here who said this part did not need to be covered. This part could have been put back on to my air condition unit. And it's still good. And the mechanic said, “That’s an electric car. Once this part goes out, you have to replace the whole thing. Because all that's gonna do is go down the line later on. He recommended me to do it. I said, “Okay. Cool. I’ll pay the other half.” But he said that when he looked at my policy, the whole air condition and the hoses are covered.
When I called Endurance, I asked if the the guy that they sent down knew anything about electric cars. And the lady told me, “I don't think so. I don't know.” So I said, ”So how can you tell me, talking to the guy?” And when the other guy from Endurance talked to me, he said they got to make sure that the people I send my car to is a reputable company. I said, “Yeah. They own BMW.”

I purchased the plan with Endurance because of how smooth sailing it usually is on my half when I'm dealing with other customer vehicles. It's always very straightforward. I'm a service advisor, and I dealt with Endurance almost two years from an advisor standpoint. They were quick on approvals. But that wasn't my experience when I had to have something done. It felt very combative. I was out of a vehicle for almost two and a half months. It was almost a three-month period where they were doing as much as possible to not cover the repairs included instead of having my motor replaced, which was what BMW called for. They only did the timing guide. Down the line, my motor is going to fail. I'm okay with having gotten it fixed but it was a Band-Aid. I'll probably be calling another claim in soon.

I took the car to the dealership, and the advisor made the claim. They had to get a part. But also, there was a dispute on something, whether it was covered or not. It took a few days for an inspector to get out there, so I lost a few days because of that. The communication wasn't great at all. I had to call to find out what the status was. It was a bit of an argument. Parts of the electric gauge panel weren't lit. I said, "If this isn't operating how it comes from the factory, then it should be replaced. It says it's covered." Endurance dug their heels in and said that the part was not gonna be covered based on the service advisor's verbiage of the condition of the broken part. So I had to talk to my service advisor and he had to convince Endurance to cover it, but I never got word from Endurance of anything.
Originally, the car was in for an air conditioning blower motor, which was covered. But then there was a fuse block that was burnt out that supplies power to the air conditioning blower motors. Even though the complete electrical wiring harness is covered, fuse block wasn't written in there, so they did not cover it. So that is shady. In the end, whatever they decided to cover and not cover, they never came to me and said, "Okay. We reevaluated, yes, your gauge panel is being covered and moving forward." I had to get everything from my service advisor.

When I signed up with Endurance, their reps were good and they explained to me about the covered. Recently, I took my wife's car to the shop since I've been having problems with it.
