Intuit could write a book called "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People." Once an innovative and customer-friendly company, Intuit has turned into a drudge whose main interest is keeping an eye on its customers and figuring out how to charge them ever higher upgrade and add-on fees.
Longtime users of QuickBooks are especially upset. QuickBooks became the industry standard for small businesses but Intuit's insistence on constant updates and its always-on spyware have infuriated many of its longtime users.
