I purchased a brand new 2025 Ram Rebel X in September, and with only 7,000 miles the front tires are already ruined due to what appears to be a factory alignment issue. Unfortunately, my experience with both RAM Customer Care and South Hills Dodge has been extremely disappointing. After noticing the abnormal tire wear, South Hills Dodge initially agreed to perform an alignment under warranty, but refused to cover the cost of the two damaged front tires — even though the wear was clearly caused by the alignment problem. They instructed me to open a case with RAM Corporate to seek tire coverage.

RAM then told me the truck had to be dropped off at the dealership before the case could be escalated to a case manager. I dropped the truck off on Monday, 4/27, where it sat outside for days without being touched. I asked the service manager for the current alignment readings for my records. I was told they “couldn’t get alignment measurements because the tires were too badly worn.” Wanting documentation, I took the truck to my local mechanic without having anything adjusted. They were able to provide alignment readings immediately, showing both front toe measurements out of spec as well as caster being out of spec — indicating the truck was likely misaligned from the factory when sold new.

To make matters worse, one of the RRTs performed on the truck involved the EPS (Electronic Power Steering) system — a component that can directly affect steering geometry and tire wear if not functioning or calibrated properly. That only adds more concern that the abnormal tire wear may be tied to factory-related steering or alignment issues that existed from the beginning.

Meanwhile, I could not get responses through RAM’s text support system, and even my assigned case manager stated he was unable to reach the dealership. After my truck sat untouched for four days, I was then told I would need to pay $19.95 for a tire rotation before they would even perform the warranty alignment. At that point, I took the truck to Jim Shorkey, where they completed recalls and RRTs, but said they still needed approval from the RAM case manager regarding tire coverage.

After weeks of wasted time, multiple dealership visits, conflicting information, and no meaningful communication, RAM Customer Care ultimately told me they could not cover the tires because the original dealership had already stated the tires were “not covered under warranty.” In the end, I’ve spent a significant amount of time and money going in circles over what appears to be a factory steering/alignment issue on a brand new truck with only 7,000 miles.

I have owned 3 Rams. They were all great trucks. I bought a 2026 RHO 1500 and I will never buy another Ram. It codes all the time and makes it to where I won't drive it. I called customer service and can not understand a word they say. It's been in the shop several times and I was told I would have to pay for a loaner? Seriously $92000??. They see the codes stored but, nothing they can do. I can go on and on but, just consider buying a Ford. I will go back to Ford if I can sell this thing with 3000 miles on it.

2026 Ram 3500 with 2k miles on it. Been in the shop for almost 60 days out of 100 of ownership. Been to 2 dealerships to fix multiple issues, and to date, still multiple are not fixed. Between dealing with dealership and Customer Care, it's very evident, that neither one cares to take the time or even put effort into fixing them. I attached photos of the most recent DEF gauge issue that has been attempted to be fixed 4 times. Upon the vehicle being released back to me, I was informed that the fix for the DEF gauge is to "Just don't fill it up". This came from Ram Engineers from STAR and sent me on the way... Was told they drove it for 2 days and did not notice any gauge fluctuation.

Drove the truck for about 30 miles between picking it up and the next morning and had 5 different fluctuations, but they didn't see anything in over 100 miles. These are the photos attached. So, what @ramcares is stating, is just because you spend 105K on a vehicle, you don't really expect it to work do you? We put a 7-gallon DEF tank on for convenience while towing, but really, we don't want more than 2.5 gallons in it at a time, or the gauge malfunctions. Would not really care if the truck would not go into Limp mode if the gauge went down to empty and doesn't fix itself. I have tried to get this dealt with and done the proper contacts and @ramcares does not care to fix this, or even properly deal with Recalls on these vehicles.

There is no way I would purchase another vehicle from anything made by Stellantis or recommend anyone to purchase one. Until they make it right and put effort into fixing not only these issues but everyone else's that are having them also, @ramcares is going to have to change their customer service and handling of these issues or will continue to lose loyal patrons to their brands.

My wife owns a 2018 Ram 2500. She constantly get warnings of traction and ABS failures. Cruise control shuts off with these warnings. There is a recall, but cannot get it fixed due to parts not available. The part has not been available since the recall, well over a year ago or better.

My Ram 1500 battery light turned on then my vehicle turned off and restarted while driving. Dealership contacted RAM for the part. RAM customer support tells them the part will be in April 7th, it is currently February 24th. The dealership told me to contact customer support for a loaner because the RAM dealership doesn’t have any. Customer support then transfers me to 7 different departments over 2 days giving me multiple different answers and unable to connect me to a supervisor for 2 days. Was then told nobody started my process and if I need a vehicle for the next 6 weeks I need to pay out of pocket and they only cover a specific amount. I will never purchase another vehicle from RAM, Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler. Customer service is appalling along with their bs policy for a situation they caused.

I am not 90 days since I have had access to my new Ram 1500 leased on October 2025 as it sits at the Aventura Dodge Ram Service Center awaiting for engineers and mechanics to determine why the brake module continues to malfunction. 3 months have gone by since I was traveling in the express lane on I95 and experience break failure. This was now the second time I was out into a dangerous situation by the make of vehicle, something I had never experienced in the past with Jeep which has always been my choice of vehicle make. But I took a chance and went for Ram. Big mistake! Not only has the vehicle caused me much stress and anxiety, let alone the amount of time spent managing calls and emails and trips to the Aventura Service center, the poor customer service has been what really stands out.

I have all the emails to prove that they just rely on the minimal communication and try and keep you hanging there while you deal with the frustration. Of course, they are trained to tell you how much they empathize with you and how they understand your frustration, but they don't do anything to try and expedite your vehicle's repair, nor do they offer any compensation for the fact that you are making payments as agreed on time and yet your don't have access to the vehicle. I leased a truck because I needed the additional capacity for work and personal reasons and I have been relegated to a Jeep Wrangler as a loaner vehicle! I'm paying a lot of money for a vehicle that is underperforming for my needs. But that's something they conduct care about.

I sent Stellantis a Motor Vehicle Defect Notification dated February 6 and have yet to receive any formal written reply. Other than a couple of calls from various Customer Care agents that repeat the same language they are instructed to say.."we are looking at the all the way to expedite your vehicle's repair and will get back to you shortly.. we understand your frustration". I really have lost patience with these calls. I have asked each one to escalate the situation to Corporate and have yet to hear back. You would expect that someone from Head Office would consider that a new vehicle that has spent more days in service than in the possession of a customer would immediately be flagged giving rise to a higher level manager to call the customer and offer some form of consolation. This is why I am writing this review and hoping that it does trigger some form of concern for the manufacturer.

At this point in time, I can truly say that I have lost complete confidence in the product and the manufacturer. I ma not confident about even getting back in to the vehicle once repaired simply because I am always going to feel that the brakes are going to malfunction once again and I spend a lot of time traveling in express lanes.

I have a sinking feeling that Ram will eventually just hand over the car with what they consider "epaired brakes" and send me on my merry way. No consideration for the amount of time and frustration, no compensation for having provided an underperforming loaner. Simply no regards for the customer.

I would have expected much more from a major car manufacturer. Having a new vehicle out of service this long is unheard of, as explained by the Service Center Director. He is also baffled by the numerous engineers that can't fix the problem. Hence, why hasn't Ram just accepted that this is a faulty vehicle and taken it away and given the customer a new vehicle. That would have made everyone happy and I could have just moved on with my life!. Ram vehicles and their customer service deserve less than 1 star, but I am not able to save this review unless I give it a star!

Avoid buying a Ram 1500 at all cost. I own a 2021 Rebel, 46K miles and needing to replace transmission already. And of course out of warranty. Very disappointing, especially as much as these new trucks cost.

They can sell overpriced cars which don't work as advertised? SCAM! Never buy this car. Such a bad experiences.

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. I own a 2018 Dodge Ram EcoDiesel, and with just around 100,000 kilometers, I’ve run into a major engine problem. This truck was a significant investment for my family, and we’ve always relied on it for daily use. Now, being out of warranty, the repair costs are quite daunting. I’m curious if others have faced this kind of issue at a similar mileage and if you found any solutions or received support from Dodge. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

When a auto company (RAM) fails to take care of SAFETY recalls, that should tell you what they think of their customer base. My 2017 RAM 3500 had two SAFETY RELATED RECALLS and in both cases failed to repair. The first recall was related to the drag link that loosened with the possibility of losing steering control. Instead of using solid steel hex bar for the drag link, they used a cheapened stamp steel unit that allowed the tie rod ends to loosen with possible loss of steering. Their sanctioned fix was to weld the tie rid ends to stamped metal unit. By doing this the owner was no longer able to align their RAM without cutting the welds or replacing the unit with a solid steel unit at the owners expense. If they cared about their customer they should have replaced the faulty part with the known safer part.

The second safety related recall was for a faulty brake hydraulic control unit (HCU). My 2017 RAM received the safety recall for this HCU unit on 12-08-2024. They advised me that a repair procedure with parts availability will be released in the first quarter of 2025. It is now several days before 2026 and customer relations advised me they do not yet have a remedy for this brake failure. When a company has no care about steering and/or brake failure of their customers vehicles, they have no purpose being in business. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A DODGE, RAM, CHRYSLER, JEEP PRODUCT FROM STELLANTIS CO. EVER AGAIN.
