They advertised a room for 249. My fiancé booked a room for one night. They sent me a bill for $675.75. When I called to question them they referred to me to the accounting department. I called them three times with no luck whatsoever. I called And talk to the manager. He told me I could try again tomorrow. I told him I’ve been trying with no luck and in two minutes he looked up the account and said that that was the price and explain to me that we made a mistake and didn’t read the fine print in regards to the Room. Talking to him he was very nice and explain that’s my bill and that’s what I have to pay and he could care less about anything else. I felt I had a very bad experience with the Sheraton. They had no cooperation and understanding of the problem and told me That was my bill. I hope if you book a Sheraton you’re careful and confirm the price you have to pay so you will not be surprised like I was and I was very disappointed with how it was handled. Good luck chuck.

At approximately 11:57 PM, on August 12, I was going to go down to speak with the front desk clerk to report excessive noise. I exited my room and saw 2 fellow guests as they were exiting the fourth floor staircase which was located next to my room. These guests were going to their room. Then the female guest made a comment to her male companion. “Told you to be quiet” I then proceeded to the elevator. I made a comment of, people are trying to sleep. She started yelling shifting her focus to me. Began yelling horrible racial slurs continuing well after 01:00.
Knowing what room I was in, the female guest proceeded to harass me by yelling and slamming the doors. If you choose to stay here, keep your head down! Racism goes both ways and I was victimized and bullied. The security guard did absolutely nothing and allowed this incident to escalate. I was there for recovery after a painful medical procedure. These were just inebriated gusts under the influence! Michael, are you reading this now? It all adds up brother!

This review is for the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, FL- they should have a less than 1 star rating. Made reservation 2 months in advance. Check in time was 4 pm and at 8 pm our room still was not available. There was NO attempt to get us another room, no discounts offered and no offer to help us find another hotel. After driving for 5 hours to get to the hotel and waiting an additional 4 hours to get into our room, all they provided was our refund. It was obvious they over-booked the hotel because they never gave us an option to get another room. I will never stay at another Sheraton and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from them. We reserved a room with a view, so we were willing to pay a premium price, but this experience made a lasting impression and not a good one. Even Motel 6 gives better customer service.

I love the Sheraton and going into their hotels. Every year in Seattle, they do a Gingerbread House contest and it's always one of the highlights of the season. I think events like that are really want make a company stand out, and make you feel at home even when you are on a vacation.

I stayed at Sheraton for a staycation. Went in the week so it was not that crowded. Did enjoy the pool and gym of course! Highly recommended for a weekday stay, I feel it might be crowded on weekends. And swimming in a full pool is no fun.

Now I had the opportunity to stay in both back to back. I CAN ASSURE YOU THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! Both stays were for business. HOWEVER if I had to pick it would be Four Points hands down. That choice was based on a factor of things due to preference. They are both with awesome security. Both locations have visual and hidden security as in cameras and personnel-which is very assuring to those as I concerned of their safety. Now in amenities HERE IS WHERE based on one preference it gets VERY VERY DIFFERENT. I personally reside in Rancho Cucamonga. On that fact living in the suburbs in gated community in luxury resort style-Sheraton Lagos hotel wouldn’t be something I’d prefer, Four Points would be something more like home to me.
Sheraton Lagos hotel is much more bigger than Four Points which I’m overly sure is the factor in why their rooms are so much smaller. I’m sure they have bigger rooms at different cost but in what they just have to offer you isn’t much for the price of the stay. I wasn’t impressed at all by or with anything in regards to the room. Four Points rooms are much larger, cost more BUT the amenities “in the room” ARE FAR BETTER as well as the luxury of room service. Sheraton lagos hotel has HIDDEN FEES that they're NOT HONEST UPFRONT ABOUT!! Technology for payment method, customer service/desk staff etiquette is of a better quality-FOR DAMN SURE! Both establishments have well groomed, approachable staff. The amenities within the hotels are a similar and worth a try.
**Now both locations are aesthetically pleasing. There is a but, the surroundings included in that for me would be Four Points in my opinion. Both are equal in reserving a decent clean room for whatever your purpose is, be it business or pleasure as in the capability to sleep in a bed, have access to a toilet, shower, tv and usage of wifi**. The food is decent and was more in quantity than Four Points. The room at Sheraton lagos hotel did have compatible plugs whereas Four Points only had the country's traditional plug. Sheration lagos hotel had larger portion of food servings than Four Points.
Traveling from the airport, Sheraton lagos hotel is easier accessible and easier to travel to most things. Four Points is walking distance from the mall, banks and food establishments. I personally don’t intend on returning to the sheraton lagos hotel. I have already made reservations to return back to Four Points’s 2021. It’s a fair review of my experience while lodging at both locations back to back. Hopefully it assists others with their lodging plans.

I was staying at the Sheraton Reston and booked the room through my Mileage program via the Airlines in conjunction with booking the flight. There was no warning that the hotel was undergoing renovations, I was shocked to find loud jackhammer-like sounds at 0800 the next morning upon awaking. After calling the front desk, who acted like they were SHOCKED there was noise, moved me to a different floor. It made no difference, as I was to stay for 2 weeks, the noise would be a problem for conference calls and generally, just very stress inducing.
To top it off, they turned off the water without notice, I had to go to a meeting that day without showering, or going to the restroom. Again, the front desk feigned ignorance. The employees were rude and gave a "you should have known better" response and complained it was hard on them as well. What an awful and stressful experience, I left early. As for this hotel, you have a choice to pay for a similar experience, or go with a different chain. I stayed in a budget hotel (Candlewood near DIA and it was marvelous by comparison- and cheaper).

Do not purchase anything from this vacation club unless you like spending large amounts of money for absolutely nothing, not to mention the potentially crippling debt that lasts a lifetime and can then become your children’s debt. I attended this “presentation” that was supposed to last 90 mins but turned into 4 hours of negotiation because I initially said no to their offers. I was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics and felt I could not leave the presentation without making a purchase.
During this presentation there was nothing but lies, the sales rep claimed the timeshare was a great investment that would enable me to rent and make a profit, what he failed to mention was that there was no guarantee I would be able to reserve the rooms during the timeframe I wanted or the fact that the company forbids the rental of their getaways; which was something he suggested I do to make a profit. He also did not mention the maintenance fees that rise every year and must be paid whether I go on vacation or not, so I am basically giving money away. They are nothing but scam artists who prey on people and their ignorance; their sales tactics are manipulative and illegal. Please if you do make a purchase read the ENTIRE contract before the 10-day cool-off period and make sure that this is something you want because it is very difficult to be rid of.

I contacted you guys due to I had no running water in the Sheraton hotel. Ok first you should’ve notified the guest. I was not notified. Ok then when I called down to the office about the water that was off for more than four hours and the patio door not opening and the Wi-Fi not working I was not offered a room. Instead I was very rudely talk to and he just didn’t even help with the Wi-Fi so I had no Wi-Fi, no running water, no back patio door open then instead of calling corporate I figured I will go ahead and you know try to talk to the manager. I called the manager today. He was a nightmare. Hung up the phone on me.
Would not give me corporate’s number and then said that he did all this because I cussed at him so we hung up. No that’s not why you hung up. He hung up because he wanted to hang up. The only thing I said was **. There was nothing that was so bad towards him so and then I get offered for no running water and not being able to take a shower to go to work I get offered to upgrade to a Junior suite or discount room. That is very alarming that is the way that Sheraton treat their guest with no running water.

Stayed here before and loved it, the staff are Professional, courteous and responsive. This hotel offers "Smoking rooms" in special floors, you can imagine they sell out fast, in spite of me having booked a non smoking room the staff were kind enough to find me a suite, yes that's right, a "smoking" suite, so sweet of them, so it seems that it was available for the duration of my stay (2 days). It maybe a good idea to consider remaining calm when faced with unexpected circumstances (like accidentally booking a non-smoking room) and appreciating that the staff ALWAYS do their best, therefore, I always offer kindly response, so here's an invitation to be willing show appreciation, and ask for what you need.
Other reasons for the rating, are: Clean rooms, VERY Reasonable price, close (literally 2 or 3 blocks) away from a pharmacy, hair dressers, and huge shopping mall ABC, with coffee shops, open spaces, restaurants, cinemas. Also a close to the shoreline promenade to take a stroll, or a nice jog, any time. Also close to Hamra famous district, just a wonderful location.

I made a reservation in this hotel for one day, in its own website, using my credit card. The card was and still is working perfectly, but as I arrived at the hotel to check in they told me it was declined. My mother used two of her cards, that she was also using regularly (and still is) and they were declined! Their system obviously has some problem, but what happened was they denied my check in with a valid reservation, and even though I offered to pay it in money!!! It is an absurd! I talked to the guy making the check in and asked him to allow me to talk to who is in charge, he answered, "I am the supervisor".
However, before we left the hotel, at the lobby, he reached out and said the manager "allowed us", as if it was a great favor, to pay in money and check in, leaving extra 50 dollars as a security deposit they would return afterwards. I am deeply disappointed with the treatment they gave us, considering it is a Sheraton and we expected way better than this. There is no breakfast included (and even if you pay you will get nothing more than TGI's menu). The pool area is not as nice as the pictures show (way smaller pool). They advertise you get 80 dollars credit in the casino by making the reservation, but it is actually 15 as you get there, without actually paying. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

My family was trying to book 10+ rooms for our family reunion vacation. My brother Lonnie and I was on three way phone calls and he left numerous messages for sales manager to call - no response - and call front desk manager and she appeared to be aggravated by my repeated phone calls. I think they are very unprofessional, and I will no longer be calling them. If this is the treatment that certain ethnic groups received I can imagine how we would have been treated during our stay. They didn't deserve that one star. It's been since January 15 and still not a returned phone call. I will be posting this review on several sites. Also read the reviews first.

When I made the reservations they did not tell me this. After seeing the soil sheets I brought it to The hotel managers attention wherein he advised I would get a refund. Last night which was the 27th we had something on a plate that looked like someone had used the bathroom on the plate, noodles were cold. All in all the food was not even good enough to feed a hog. Fast forward, three drs visits and an exterminator inspection, we learned we had bed bugs from the hotel. The hotel has denied our claim for compensation for the bed bug remediation stating the 3 weeks it took us to ascertain the cause of the bites relinquishes them of any wrongdoing. Do don’t stay here. My daughter was getting married in June 2018, the only hotel in the area was Four Points Sheraton on Roosevelt Blvd. Being the planner I am I decided to book my rooms early. I booked 4 of my reservations via Expedia. In February when browsing through Expedia I booked a Deluxe room for Thursday evening for my mom of 79 years young. Then in April I booked my reservation and my daughter's reservation for the same type room (Deluxe Room) the photos on the website at the time were showing a King size bed with a little living area on the other side of room with bathroom, this what the photos were advertising at my time of booking.
Upon arriving at the hotel checking in this was not room I received for this reservation or any of my reservations. Four Points stated that Expedia had the incorrect photos online and was false advertising and the photos were replaced when I arrived at the hotel. Four points stated the photos that were previously show was a Jr Suite and cost $1000. I thought to myself am I in Dubai or tropical island? I was then told the room was unavailable. Knowing our other guests were to be checking in next day this was not a very good start. I can go and on. What a nightmare. The rooms are terrible, there was construction going on right by the elevators. The website stated the pool was open. No it was not.
I heard other guests wanted to be moved to a different hotel due to all the inconveniences. This hotel receives vouchers from the state to house overflow of people on section 8. People begging for money and food. I requested to see this so call $1000 room. There were big cobwebs hanging from the inside window, cracks in the tile and leaky air conditioner. I think I and my guests of about 40 people were misleaded and cheated. I would like some sort of refund from Expedia/Starwood. I have more photos to share once located. I wouldn’t mind a legitimate lawyer to contact me.

I stayed in the Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando Florida. Upon checking into the hotel I denied housekeeping because I don’t like people coming into my room while I’m staying at a hotel. I checked in on a Monday and checked out on a Friday of the same week. I checked out between 9-9:15 am on Friday morning because I was meeting the bus at Publix for a free ride to Bush Garden. When I got to Bush Garden at 11:00 my fiancé realized he had left his wallet in the nightstand at the room. I immediately called Sheraton and told them exactly where the wallet was in the room and what room I was it. She told me she would send security to the room and call me back. I never heard back from her through out the day. When the bus picked up back up from Bush Garden and took us back to our cars, soon as I got in my car I called back to the hotel as I drove to the hotel.
The security officer I was talking to on the phone told me they never got a report to check the room and that they would let me in the room. When I got in the room, the room had already been cleaned by housekeeping and my wallet was gone! They say the wallet was never turned in. I had to file a report and the next day the lady I spoke to emailed me apologizing for never calling me back the day before but said the wallet wasn’t in the room, which is a lie. Between the woman I spoke to, security and housekeeping they took $220 from him and all his important information that he needed was in that wallet. I had to file a online police report that might not get me very far but it was worth a try.
We had drove 9 hours to get to Orlando and stayed somewhere we thought we would be safe and trust the people! I went to a presentation at the hotel and I’m so glad I didn’t buy into the timeshare cause I would be really pissed right now to be done bought into a untrustworthy chain of people! This type of act gives a very bad name to a business. I’m a human resource manager and no one have tried to reach out to me to resolve this problem! All credit cards had to be canceled, social security card, birth certificate and other important documents I’m still waiting on to be replaced! $220 in cash I feel the hotel should’ve replaced considering someone from their staff took his wallet!

Upon check-in at SHERATON GUILDFORD BC CANADA we were greeted by an UNFRIENDLY female staff member who checked us in, gave our room key cards to us and did NOT advise us of our room number nor which floor, room or where the lifts are located and just walked off. Next unfortunate event to occur is that of the open gate leading into the secure parking lot, which we pay money each night to securely park our car in. The gate was WIDE open when we arrived at 3am, with a homeless man walking through, INSIDE the hotel's property with no sign of any security or management in sight. For this, we DID NOT FEEL SAFE within this hotel.
To make matters worse, we arrived at the parking lot gate at 11:24pm. We buzzed the hotel staff through the intercom in which we gave in our details and they began opening the gate, and we proceeded through. HOWEVER, before we could completely drive in our car through the open gate, it CLOSED HALF-WAY and HIT THE TOP OF OUR RENTED CAR which then SNAPPED off the metal antenna from the top of the car and DAMAGING it. We have been driving into this parking lot and doing the same process for the last three nights without any incidents. For some reason on this night, whomever the hotel staff was, they decided to close the gate VERY quickly before we could enter the parking lot.
We then stopped our car instantly and buzzed the intercom to request a manager to come deal with this situation. When the manager arrived, by the name of KENNETH ** who had EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, approached us with a very CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE. We were very distressed for what just happened, and we explained the situation and he had no remorse, or empathy and proceeded to talk down to us. He kept INSULTING me, saying to stop speaking to him in that manner, however we did not lose our temper, we were merely distressed about the situation. He also kept trying to prove that you can glue the antenna back on to the car and not taking any responsibility for what happened.
We then went to the lobby and requested for him to fill in an incident report in which he kept declining. We stressed to him to he needs to do this right now while it is still fresh. We then called in our Canadian relative whom saw the condescending attitude the manager had towards us and he also was very rude towards our relative. He went into my relative's PERSONAL SPACE, in a THREATENING manner and kept prodding into my relative that he was “wasting both his own and the police’s time” when it came to filing a report, when that was the protocol which was given to us by Starwood Corporate themselves when we called them.
As I was on the phone with the local police station, he asked us “oh, are you going back to India soon” even though we have VERY distinct Aussie accents. This sly RACIST comment was very PATRONIZING and just downright unnecessary and UNPROFESSIONAL regarding the situation. Also, throughout the entire time he kept saying “do you need some complimentary water so you can calm down.” We kept turning it down and he continued to shove this ‘complimentary water’ down our throats as if that was going to solve his TERRIBLE behaviour and situation. And, he kept reflecting that the manager in the morning will deal with this. Overall, this has been the RUDEST and MOST UGLY experience we have had throughout the entirety of our travels around the world.

I was booked at the airport Sheridan in Milan, Italy because I had a flight out early the next morning. When I got there the staff at the front desk told me that the reservation had been cancelled. This was a lie. I was forced to make other much less desirable emergency arrangements. I think that Sheraton Hotels has taken a page from the playbook of the airlines and is overbooking their hotels. They give the available rooms on a first-come first-served basis to the earliest-arriving customers and lie to the later arrivals and tell them that someone ("possibly your travel agent") has cancelled their reservation. I will never stay at a Sheraton again.

I paid to use 2nd top room type for 4 days. I have at hotel previous. First stay 12 months previous, all good. 2nd stay, a phone call was put thru to customer at 11.45 pm. Person claimed he was a Sheraton employee, woke up customer, threatened her with bodily harm if she didn't get out to the group tour at 8 am in the morning. Group tour was booked and paid for by me, on booking sheet it has pickup time between 8.30 am and 9 am. I have the booking form as proof of booking time.
Anonymous phone call was put thru at 11.45 pm, they went thru hotel switchboard, who got told it was an "emergency". I personally have 2 mobile phones on me at all times. One work, one personal. I run a multi-million dollar company. Staff member gave out personal details to outside person. Sheraton MOE rules state no phone calls after 9 pm. So why did they put this call thru? Break their own rules. Anonymous person claims it was an emergency. I live in suburbia Melbourne Australia, staying in Sheraton hotel in Dubai. If it was an emergency related to my family or work, don't you think they would have rang on either of the 2 mobiles I had on me? Manager of hotel has done anything possible to discredit the customer.
The Sheraton Hotel Emirates mall cannot apologise for putting a call thru on the room landline at 11.45 pm. They claim, as a paying customer, I should not have answered the phone. The person who put the call thru, broke rules, and the customer is blamed. The person who spoke to the paying guest, threatened to do bodily harm to her if she didn't leave the room by 8 am. Hotel response... I should do as the threatening person says. Customer did not get to use the bed in the room the rest of the night, due to fears of being beaten up by anonymous caller. Customers fault according to hotel, she should not have been asleep when call came thru.
Hotel will blame the customer. But guess what, maybe the Sheraton Emirates mall should take responsibility for their staff ups on this occasion, APOLOGISE to the customer, for all the mistakes their staff did, and refund 1 nights accommodation back to the customer. She paid for 4, only used the bed for 3 due to the staff mistakes. As a result, the customer will never step foot ever again in UAE, nor Dubai.
I am a wealthy woman, can you continually upset wealthy people? There is more points to this story, all of which show the management of Sheraton MOE to be very unprofessional. My life was threatened over the phone by someone, and they will again try and blame the sleeping customer for just picking up the phone. I value my safety, but the Sheraton Emirates mall, took my privacy, and let an unknown person threaten me. So why would I ever go back to see if the anonymous person will follow thru with his threat of beating me to a pulp if I didn't leave the hotel by 8 am. Common sense tells me not put my life in jeopardy. There is more to the story, and I guarantee, the Sheraton will blame me somehow for their mistakes.
