    Ms. ** at LAX. She provided phenomenal customer service. I had a problem with my reservations and another agent told me I would have to cancel my reservations and start over. Which I tried to do and was unsuccessful. I made several phone calls and no one could help. So out of frustration I went to another agent at the Hertz counter and for my good fortune Ms ** saved the day. She fixed my reservation for me and sent me on my way in less than 5 mins. I didn’t have to cancel anything. She handled it and provided fantastic customer service. And I am forever grateful and will be signing Hertz and Ms T kudos for a long, long time!!

    I must have picked the right ones to deal with because the Hertz car company I dealt with was above and beyond my expectations, with great cars and great customer service. I had some minor complications on my end in the Hertz car company I dealt with help me all the way down the line 100%.

      Review. Hertz Rental Car Review – 10th Street Location. I would like to recognize the excellent service provided at the Hertz Rental Car office located on 10th Street. This office has many repeat clients who return specifically because of the professional courtesy and service provided by Caleb. Caleb is patient, knowledgeable, and consistently professional in the way he assists customers. I have personally witnessed him go the extra mile to help clients. For example, when a customer requests a specific vehicle, Caleb will call other Hertz locations to see if they can accommodate the request so the client receives the car they want. Marcos, who previously worked at this location, was also part of a great team. He has since moved on to another job and is missed. It is clear that this office values customer service and professionalism, and that is why many customers continue to return.

      If I could give negative stars I would. I rented a car from the Troy Mi location through Priceline. I did the prepay to ensure I would be all set. This was for work travel so when my schedule changed I called the location to see if I could pick the car up an hour earlier. I was told by the RUDE manager that they did not have a car in the category I reserved. I reserved a compact SUV. I told her then I had already paid. She told me to call back after 4pm to see IF they would have a car for me for my reservation the next morning.

      I called her back at 4:30pm and she said she would have a car for me. They open at 8am. NO ONE called me. I showed up at 9:15 am, my reservation was for 9:30am. She told me she did not have a car for me... I asked her what she was going to to do to accommodate me. They had MULTIPLE cars in the lot. She told me it would cost me an extra $20 per day... I said NO this is on Hertz as both their website and Priceline would take reservations at that moment for the same category car. She told e there was NOTHING she could do. I said cancel it and I left. She did not cancel it. I had to call the customer service line. It tool 10 minutes to get through the automated system since I had prepaid m automated system could not cancel and refund me. The guy that took my call said he would refund me the money. HE RECHARGED ME!!! Horrible service!!

      When I picked up my scheduled rental, the rental agent processed some paperwork and handed me the keys and said she did not need to check the car with me, and I was free to find the car in the parking lot and start driving. I did so, and about 8 miles later I first noticed that the fuel gauge showed half-empty. I pulled over to fill the tank. I also confirmed they had set "Fuel out" at 100% on the paperwork, so I emailed a request for a refund of the missing fuel, and included documentation, and Hertz denied the refund. Of course I still had to return the car with full tank of gas, so they ripped me off $30.

      Don’t book with Hertz. If anything goes wrong with your reservation, they will always point to the local rental partner—if they respond at all. Complaint handling is essentially nonexistent, and they are notoriously hard to reach. These days, I rent through Sunny Cars, and I can always rely on them when something isn’t 100% right. If a rental partner tries to push extra insurance, you’re also covered with Sunny Cars. With Hertz, on the other hand, they’ll often double down on the situation if you refuse the upsell from the local partner.

      I returned my rental car to the Denver Airport location and three days later started to receive texts that I needed to return my car. I texted back that I did return it. The next day I called and took 30 minutes to get transferred around. The customer service agent finally told me that it was handled and not to worry anymore. I got another text today that I needed to return the car. I keep trying to call the DIA location and no one picks up the phone. I have been on a chat bot now for about an hour trying to confirm that the rental was found on their site. This is hell.

      Hertz is the worst. They are scammer. I rented a car for Uber, and when they give it to me, it was dirty, high mileage. I had to paid 393.00 weekly, like in a month, they didn't want to take my payment cause the car need to go to service. I took it to Pep Boys, they left me for 6 days with no car, not able to work. After I got it back after 6 days when I got home, they locked the car.

      I call them, they told me I need to put a one time 531.00 dollars after I paid them. They told me the car would be unlocked between 15 to 20 min after the time pass when to turn the car on and couldn't not turn it on. It was still locked. I call them back and they said I need to pay another 531.00 dollars after they left me 6 days not able to work. I called them and I told them I had to paid 1062.00 dollars if it was not my fault, the car was for 6 days in service. They didn't want to help me out, knowing it was not my fault, the car was in service for 6 days. No one want it to help me out, they are scammers, and I hope they go out of business for being a bad company and playing people. They are located in Weston st in Hartford, CT.

      Rented a car through Uber and when I got the car it was dirty with stains in the back seat. I took it only because it was the only gas powered car they had. I was then charged $1,232.40 after I returned the car. Keep in mind this was for a car I was already paying $392.00 a week for! In addition to that I was also charged a $37 late fee for returning the car on the day I was supposed to returned it. This is outrageous and I will never rent from Hertz again. I contacted their support but my messages and emails go into a black hole. I contacted my bank to reverse the charges but they said they couldn't. This is ridiculous that a rental company can screw over their customers and get away with it. Hertz Uber/Lyft Express Drive in Nashville 15001 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN, 37211.

      Sitting at the Myrtle Beach airport at 1:45. Reservation was made weeks ago for a 1 o’clock pick up. It may be still 30 minutes before my car is here. Drew, who’s handling my reservation thought it would be humorous to quote a Seinfeld episode of people waiting on their car… As a member, I will be and I will truly never use Hertz again.
