I am extremely disappointed in my experience with BookIt.com!!! I booked a trip (flight and all-inclusive hotel) 9 1/2 months in advance; only to have BookIt.com change the resort and DOWNGRADE our room one week prior to travel! We had booked a suite and were downgraded to a studio room at an entirely different resort than originally booked.

This is the second time I have booked a trip with BookIt. Their package rates are the best!!! So easy and fast to book online. I am very pleased with their services and will continue to book all of my travel with them!!

Hands down. The rep at BookIt was extremely rude. She purposely charged my account for the full amount of my purchase after telling her various time I wanted the pay delay... The rep never cancelled the first reservation as she said she would. Place me on numerous holds. Pretended to get her supervisor. Lied to me, wasted my time, is the result of my account going negative, and all BookIt as a corporation is say sorry and they will train rep "Chantel". I advise anyone to rethink calling in for assistance as you might get an incompetent rep.

No problem with the booking, but I resent the fact that after I paid, the "resort charge" popped up and it's almost half the price of the room!

I was happy when I just happened to look at bookit.com and see that they were cheaper than the other websites I was looking at. While it may have only been by a little, still that is a little more I can used while on vacation!

Booking was nice and easy. But it would been nice if you would have shown the nearly $300 in fees we have to pay at check in, that wasn't mention in your total cost.

I did not see the hotel had resort fees until I booked. Called immediately to cancel. BookIt charged me 25 dollars to cancel. That is terrible. Will not use BookIt again.

I am excited to take this trip and I still booked it but, the fine print has me doing way more with deposits and in site payments. I feel played by this. The price should be shown as everything you will have to pay for. I do not know if I will recommend this to anyone. Unless things change and I get a message back telling me you will give me a nice discount due to the fine print.

Beware: if you make an online mistake and call to correct it within minutes of discovering it, you won't get help from BookIt.com. I wanted to booked the air with my package, however didn't do it correctly. I wanted to add the air to my package to get the "package deal", but I was told I was not able. I will never use this site again.

When I first made my reservation I booked the wrong rooms. I called to make a change when I realized and the gentleman I spoke to was helpful. However a $25 change fee was ridiculous.

I used BookIt.com in the past to book a trip to Costa Rica and had a wonderful experience as well. And I just booked a trip with my friends to Punta Cana and received a wonderful vacation package deal. Bookit.com always has the best prices and the greatest customer service.

The gentleman who helped us (name has slipped my mind) was amazing in his interaction with me on the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and understood what we were looking for and nailed the place on the head. I will be coming back again and again as this was one of the easiest bookings I've ever done!

I am highly upset with the service I received and will NEVER book with this company again!! You cancelled my appointment after deducting the final payment from my account. I spent 2 hours on the phone with a rep and yet my reservations were not updated!! Your rep stated she would call me back in 15-20 with the resolutions and NOTHING was done! Highly unsatisfied customer.

We planned a once in life long dream trip to Puerto Rico, purchased the recommended full insurance plan then when Zico became more serious we cancelled and tried to re-book a trip. It has been a nightmare. 5 calls later at an hour each and no assistance using the flight credit with our payment method. I contacted customer service with no response. I now have no vacation and am out thousands of dollars. Do not use this site.

I booked the reservation on February 5th, 2016 to travel to Dominican Republic for our family of 4, myself, my wife, and our two children ages 6 and 10 on the dates of April 2 through April 9, 2016. Three weeks after booking, my wife and I were advised by both her primary care physician and our OB-GYN to not travel to Dominican Republic due the recent developments with the Zika Virus. At this time, there was a chance of my wife being pregnant as we are in process of planning to expand our family.

Easy and secure... what else can I say?

Accidentally booked on wrong date and BookIt said it was our problem and Hampton Inn said it was our problem. Out $150. Had no place to stay and paid 150 as a no show. Will never use Hampton or BookIt in the future. Careful with their website and the dates. Yes people make mistakes and BookIt was one of them.

We booked same day at 8am. I called to verify reservations. We got to the hotel at 2pm and nothing was there. I was on the phone an hour just to get my information emailed and faxed over. NEVER AGAIN will I go through BookIt.com.

After searching for a few weeks, BookIt provided the most reasonable price for a trip that I have been trying to plan for about a month but waiting due to certain circumstances... Like that different flight options were available. Only reduced to four stars because the price went up about 50$ for no reason an hour after I had basically locked into a trip. I don't blame them but it is somewhat suspicious that it was a steady price for over two weeks that I was checking and when I went to book, the site refreshed and raised the price.

My card was charged when I made the reservation, then charged again by the hotel clerk.

I've booked reservations with BookIt before and usually been very satisfied with my accommodations. This one though, OMG!!! THUG LIFE doesn't even begin to describe this place! The one elevator didn't work, so we had to take the stairs to our seventh floor room! We were greeted there by the smell of pot smoke all the way up the stairwell, and Hey! Guess what? The owner of the illegal substance was standing right by our room! Just enjoying his joint! The room had coffee drippings down the side of the microwave and dirt still on the floor. We did not feel at all safe at this motel.

Sandcastle isn't anything fancy but if you are looking for a "beachy" feel hotel this is it. They are mini studio type rooms, nice ocean view and they are pretty clean. Will be back again.

This hotel says it has been renovated but the rooms' lights would not turn on, room was dirty, room and door keys would not work. Changed me to another room. I took pictures of the dirty room and the front desk clerk if she would stay there. Gabriella said she would never stay there. I book with BookIt all of the time. It has never been this bad. I have complained and the hotel said they can't help me because the reservation was made through BookIt. I would like at least part of my money back. This was a terrible experience.

Booked a three night stay at the Aria in Vegas and when I booked it showed a total of what I would have to pay. That number was incorrect. In the fine print it said I would have to pay additional fees at the hotel. All the other sites I have used were upfront with the total out of pocket expense but I felt like BookIt was not. Will not be using this site ever again.

I have to pay a $25 fee to upgrade a room in which I have to pay more for... this makes no sense to me! Love everything else, but $25 to make changes. Not a cancellation, but an upgrade... I'm already willing to pay more money, so I feel there is no need to add a fee! I don't money just to give away... VERY NOT PLEASED!!!

Great prices but the website is so slow and takes forever. I almost gave up and went through another party but I kept waiting and eventually it loaded. Perfect besides website issues. I made sure it wasn't mine because I went on hotels.com and it loaded right up. But great otherwise.

The agent I spoke with (I believe his name was Anthony) was very helpful and extremely friendly. I spoke to him 2 days in a row. The first day he helped find the best flights and hotel for our trip. The second day we finalized the booking. He made the process very easy.

BookIt.com is an excellent website for vacation packages or just a hotel. I've used BookIt several times in the past and never had any problems and they are accurate with hotel information. Just be careful with the last submit button when they tell you there is an additional tax fee or resort fee that will be charged at the hotel when you get there. That should be mentioned upfront because you're trying to compare prices with other websites.

"We made a mistake and there is nothing we can do about it" When we asked to speak to a manager, this is what we were told. Long story short, we booked a honeymoon vacation, a rental car, and airline flights through this website. Over the course of the past five months we learned that there had been a mistake in booking all of these. We had to pay out of pocket to fix the airline mistakes. The company refused to refund the mistake made in booking the rental car. And then honeymoon vacation was a bust.

I tried to book my trip online. It went great until I tried to pay. There was a hotel booking error and I had to call in. The agent that I had was very pleasant and helpful. It was just annoying to have to go through the whole process again on the phone. Also I am not sure if this is Bookit.com or the airlines but I couldn't pick individual departure and return flights. It was a package deal. This was also mildly annoying.

I booked a trip earlier today and I was so pleased with the agent (Daniel) that helped me. He was courteous, friendly, and helped me in a timely manner. He also helped me save money.

We've used BookIt to make reservation to Cancun and Orlando a couple of times. We did enjoy the resorts selection for Cancun but not much for Orlando. The resort we stayed in Orlando, Caribe Cove, was really nice. There's some nice hotels selections but there aren't many to choice from. Wish there was more selections and wish the locations were closer to the attractions. Overall the experience in booking at BookIt is amazing. Thank you.

On Saturday April 30, 2016 I booked a trip for two to Jamaica. The representative Willie was amazing. He did a wonderful job. He sent me my confirmation that noted $1414.00 will be deducted for our flight, $216.92 for insurance and $5.00 for room with 3 payments of $645.91 to take place June, August, and September. Instead $1694.92 was taken for the flight $216.92 for insurance and $5.00 for room. Which was $280.92 more than I anticipated being deducted from my account.

This was my first use of the BookIt.com site but will not be my last. I found the site very easy to navigate and very understandable even at my advanced age. I just hope that the booked vacation goes as smoothly as the online booking went. I would recommend the site to family members and friends.

I had some issues with the site when initially paid. It prompted me with a message that said error ID, with no actual number to associate it with. When I called help desk, they were only able to tell me that the transaction had been authorized, but my vacation had not been booked. Although the error message told me that my flights had been booked but there was a problem with my hotel. I am satisfied with the deal I received, but it was a major headache to check out. The help desk agent instructed me to rebook it and after doing this, the site prompted me to tell me that my trip had already been booked. I ended up not rebooking and the first initial payment finally posted to my bank account. I was able to view my reservation thereafter but this whole process was sketchy and made me hesitant to ever use this site again.

My boyfriend and I booked a trip through BookIt.com to Puerto Rico for May. We used the payment plan option which was on my boyfriend's card. We realized he could not make it so they were very nice to switch the person coming with me. However, the LAST 200 we owed of 1400 bounced on my boyfriend's card because his bank changed. I contacted BookIt to pay the remaining amount and they informed me the account was closed. When I asked to reactivate the account, the customer care Karen ** was very unfriendly and had no sympathy that they were totally screwing my 2 weeks away from my vacation. She informed me the $500 toward hotel was not going to be refunded but that I still had my flights. So I had a flight to Puerto Rico within 2 weeks and nowhere to go! I was also out money and expected to fork over more money so I had a place to stay!!!

Despite booking a ocean view SUITE and my confirming the accommodations directly with the hotel by phone and having BookIt.com do the same we were denied the SUITE. We were told it was unavailable and were stuck in an ocean view room for our stay. The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is not a trustworthy partner and we will not return and will NEVER recommend them. Has this happened before with BookIt.com customers?

BookIt had a computer glitch that did not allow my reservation to go through. After an hour on the phone and 2 different people we finally were booked. Staff was very good and concerned with fixing the problem.

Best way to book an expensive hotel: $5 down and then monthly payments preceding the visit using a VISA debit card from the checking account. Like layaway if you don't want to drop it all at once. Fantastic! Love it! Will always come back now!

I'm displeased with all the extra charges due to an error in your system. When I booked it was originally for May 7th, I got a confirmation for May 15th. Due to an error in your computer system I ended up being charged an extra $25 to change the date of my reservation to be the date I always wanted. The lady I spoke to on the phone the first time didn't disclose the amounts being charged to my card. And then she didn't put in the address properly so my card got declined & I was charged another $25 fee. The second lady I talked to was much more helpful & patient even though I was still very angry. I appreciate her help & patience but I know that I won't be using BookIt in the future.

I was double charged twice, double charged. I hope it doesn't take long for the second charge to get credited back. Although, the customer service rep was nice!
