I was super surprised at how low the prices are on this site. I just booked 3 nights at the Mandalay Bay for the same price as a lower priced hotel and this is a much nicer hotel. I'm very pleased with this site.

My original reservation were cancelled and I wasn't informed until it was too late. I has to settle for a hotel that I did not want.

Just booked a short flight and hotel with BookIt. It was easy and there were no surprises. The return documentation included locator numbers for both the airline and hotel. After trying many other booking services, this was the best. We will continue to use it in the future.

I read thru several online booking companies and decided to use BookIt. AFTER completing my online reservation they hit you with a note saying your RESORT FEES are NOT included after misleading you into thinking everything is included. Then they charge you $25 to cancel even 5 mins after booking. Several other online give you a free 24hr cancellation fee. I DO NOT recommend using this service. It was cheaper to book direct thru the hotel.

I used Bookit for the first time 2 weeks ago. The hidden fee was not very clear til it was purchased. The price was ok but not as good as Expedia.com. Ok, I still paid but Bookit gives a guarantee. I've sent in the info required of me but no response. So gotta say not impressed so far. However my trip is next week. Maybe they will pull it out and change my attitude, then again maybe not. We will see...

The original price I chose & wanted of course disappeared when I first tried to book & would only let me do so by calling in. That would have voided my ebate & probably not let me use my PayPal to pay. In a matter of moments the price for the same room & time rose $100. The site also kept telling me I didn't have enough information for my search once I initiated my ebate. I had to click all over the screen just to get it to search for the hotel & flight and there wasn't any other info to input.

I accidentally booked the wrong hotel. When I clicked on "Modify" to change, it says to call the 877 number which charges you $25 per person to change. Not cool!

It took a total of 5 and a half hours to book my vacation and I'm still nervous that everything is not right. Booked once online, ran into trouble due to my bank (not your fault) then took about hour for anyone to return my call. Then had to go through whole process of booking again on phone, took forever, then fraud alert on your end not my bank, then had to wait another hour and half to get phone call back after you fixed it. Then had to go through booking again. Booked wrongly for 2 cars not 1 on top of other issues.

I accidentally clicked the wrong resort and didn't notice it until I got my booking email. The phone rep was awesome at having everything switched over to the correct hotel as well as making sure my excursions and transportation was switched as well. I had book a trip on 05/15/16 for a summer vacation for my family. The customer man was very polite. After taking my card info, he had typed in the wrong dates & that is when trouble started. He transferred me a dept., to get it straight. It was a nightmare.

When I went to "Bookit" the price after services fees and taxes and everything was 555.05 and after I check out it jumped up to 572.** which is a little frustrating. Don't list it as 555.05 if it's not. I would have paid the 572 but now I feel like I've been cheated.

I found the best deal for my hotel reservation through Bookit. I would've given it 5 stars but the only bad thing about it is that my daughter is trying to reserve her hotel stay and because she is going with her daughter, she can't use any of the coupon codes because the coupon codes are only used for reservations with 2 adults. Seems unfair if she is paying for 2 guests.

The entire experience was easy. The only thing I did not like was the "kind of" hidden $95 cleaning fee. Had to read everything to find that little gem. The rental was still worth it but, "hiding" the fee was beneath the BOOKIT level and it cheapened the experience. When I read it, I had an AH-HA moment. I hope the rental is as good as it looks.

I received excellent phone service on today. The website didn't allow changes in payment date and/or multiple payments on one day causing a red alert/flag on my banking account. The payments were not collected even though funds were available, which caused my trip to be cancelled. The agent worked hard to re-establish my trip with minimal financial impact. She saved my vacation!

Went to book a hotel room. No information given about resort fees anywhere. When I booked the room, the price increased almost 25% because the hotel has the right to charge resort fees. But of course by then it was too late for me to cancel without incurring any fees. I'll never book here again.

We had been debating what we were going to do for our Honeymoon. We had checked out many Web pages. Tried to find a local travel agent. While looking we stumbled on BookIt.com. It was very easy to sign up. They exampled things in detail. Just remember to read the overlook page for more details. Pictures were very helpful. Being able to run multiple pages so we could review each hotel with room package was very nice. It helped us narrow down to 4 hotels. Then down to the one we wanted. I signed up for the members page. I am sure that we will be using BookIt.com for other vacations as well. The only suggestion I have is to help break down the activities a little better. Maybe will pick up at your hotel and will have to travel to pick up area. That was a little confusing until we figured out how read it. I think that if you were able to configure that into the website it would be even easier.

After booking I found a rate of $119.00 on Booking.com compared to your rate of $149.25 for the identical booking. I've called twice now within the 24 hour window and each time been left holding on the phone for over 20 minutes. The most recent being disconnected. Why publish a rate guarantee if you're not going to honor it and the customer has to call multiple times being left on hold for indefinite periods of time?

I thought this was supposed to be convenient and helpful website. But all I received were non payment notices when they had already took the payment out my account, two $25 charges, and a cancellation notice. If it wasn't for the great customer service I received I would have just asked for my money back. This company's automatic payment needs to be corrected or updated and the customer service hold times could be shorter.

Hello there. Thanks for providing this forum to let you know how my booking went. First of all I will say that everyone was very pleasant to me and no one at BookIt wasn't nasty about this. Of the three people I spoke to - two of them were REALLY trying hard to help me. In short, what happened is this: I searched pricing and found your vacation packages to be well priced. I checked my debit card account to make sure that I had adequate funds there to buy the plane tickets and pay the nominal fee to book the hotel. When we booked the airline tickets the BookIt travel counselor told me the charge wouldn't go through. I asked her to do it again. She said it wouldn't go through. I called Bank of America and made it a three-way call. BOA confirmed that the charge did go through the first time.
This would have been okay. BookIt told me that in the interim the price had gone up by about $300. I complained and said that when I checked the airline price on my computer as flight only it was the exact same price as before. After 1.5 hours on the phone I had to hang up. I asked BookIt to please just book the room portion and I would call back later. I get home - I see a message saying my room booking did not go through. I call them and BookIt says "Sorry ignore that but now the HOTEL is priced $300 more. So my $5,313 vacation was now going to be $5,713 somehow. I complained and said that I LOOKED online and the prices listed WERE NOW LESS than what I booked at for my trip.
Eventually, my trip was booked at the quoted price of 1:00 that afternoon for $5,313. This took another hour on the phone. I spent 2.5 hours plus working this problem. I only got this done properly by being very persistent and very insistent that the price should be honored. I am aware that prices in travel change rapidly but it just seemed wrong that when BookIt was wrong about the money in my account and such that I should have to end up paying $500 more for my vacation due to BookIt error. In the end the price was honored and we are happy to have it taken care of but I will be very upfront if I attempt to book with BookIt again that there can be no sudden price changes once we hit the "send" button on my reservation. Room was fine/clean. Check in was a disaster! A line at check in that would rival TSA at airport on Thanksgiving. Oh, for an extra $40, you can skip the line.

I had a cancellation of the rooms I booked due to expected family members coming in for my daughter's graduation. However, not everyone was able to make it. I originally booked a particular beach hotel very last minute (the day before). Well while was on my way I received a call from a BookIt representative telling me that even though my reservation was confirmed through them, the resort said that they didn't have the availability anymore. I was freaking out a little considering I was already in route. However, the representative was very very accommodating and I actually ended up in a BETTER resort for only $30 more. That would have originally been closer to $100 more. I would use them again because they take all of the work out of it for you. They could have easily just said "oh well, good luck" or stuck me in a cheaper hotel!

First, should I say I paid 20 more on BookIt than it was to book it in person. Two, I waited 20+ to get my keys because the computer was running slow. Three. Once I entered the room there was no light. Had to use the vanity light. Would have told the front desk but the guy looking for more blankets was still there with all the other people who were waiting in line when I was in there a hr and a half ago. Four, our hand towels look used. If I wasn't doing a turnaround coming and going back to Syracuse NY and if had I not prepaid I won't have stayed.

Finally picked my flight and hotel, went to book it, entered all information and received an error. Called, she said the price changed so nothing went thru. I would have to do it again. This happened at least 5 more times. Prices kept changing. Very frustrating and would have went somewhere else but friends had booked theirs.

I booked a hotel and never got a confirmation email. I tried to call customer service and never got connected to an agent. I'm calling my bank to cancel the payment. I'm very disappointed in BookIt.com. I will never try this service again.

Booked & paid for 2 nights... Got here & was told that they only have 1 night after the money was charged to my Visa in a matter of seconds. BookIt informs my wife that it would be 7-10 days to get a refund. Meanwhile I have nowhere to stay tomorrow. Way to fail at your job bookIt!

I highly recommend to stay away from this site. I will take legal action against this company for charging me twice on a ticket and sending emails saying they made a mistake and will refund. Later they call me, "Ooops we did not do anything wrong!" They are the most unprofessional company I have ever seen.

First time to use BookIt. I thought I booked a room with 2 Queens based on the picture but went back, noticed that it was only a king. Modified request & was charged an extra $28.00. Wanted to cancel but that was $25.00. Got Queen beds but will NOT used BookIt again.

Well the initial process was easy. Trying to update/upgrade my room was not. I was on hold 14 minutes just 'waiting' for someone to answer my upgrade request. As a business person we don't have time to stay on hold for long periods of time. This was a disappointment. Leave in 6 days and would have like to upgrade my room. :(

Tried three times on phone to get clarification of what taxes and service fees were included and what I would be charged at check in. Finally had it confirmed that is was a prepaid rate at the hotel and govt and service fees were incl. in the rate. So on that basis we went ahead and booked the vacation package online to Cabo with First Class seats on United and the booking confirmation came through as Economy Fare on United. Spent another hour on the phone trying to get confirmation that we were indeed flying First Class. I was told "oh, that is just an error in the system on the booking confirmation!" Not good experience for the customer.

A friend recommended them, so I booked a cruise through them. They were very friendly during the first call. After that anytime I had a question I would call and leave a message, but I wouldn't get a call back. I'd email, and sometimes get an email back. In the end I would either talk to whoever was in customer service, or I'd keep calling until I reached my rep. Then she'd lecture me about how good a rep she is, and she always returns her calls.
In case you are curious I called once to switch my roommate - 1st one got a new job and couldn't get time off. Twice because there were lower rates for the cruise - this is time sensitive since prices can change quickly. 3 times because there was an overpayment for the insurance, and they were supposed to call me to let me know if I would be reimbursed, plus I wanted a copy of the insurance showing the correct passengers names. I still have not gotten insurance documents. I will call again and talk to whoever answers in customer service, because I definitely do not want another "lecture" from my rep. It has been an all around bad experience, and I paid $25 for the pleasure. I will book directly in the future.

I called twice. The 1st person was an idiot. I called a 2nd time and spoke with Joshua **. He found the problem and tried to help me. By the time we completed the transaction I ended up paying almost $50 more. I emailed the $799.53 total and he agreed to refund $10 and promised that I would see changes to reflect my actual amount. I still don't see it.
