On June 29th I was searching the internet for 7 Day vacation to Hawaii and I came across to Bookit.com and I saw the price there. $2,682.68 hotel Hyatt House + airfare for 3 people for 7 days. I was very impress and very happy that I found a very good Fare. After some time I have to leave my house I call Bookit.com to book a vacation so they give me the same price $2,682.68 and assured me that these are the final price there's no hidden charges, so I did give them my credit card. When I got the confirmation in my email they charge me $3,026.30. So I call the same sales agent and asked what happened why they charge me $3,026.30. The Sales agent assured me that he will fix the price. There is something wrong with the computer so he put me on hold for like 30 to 40 minutes to talk to manager.
After 30 to 40 minutes the sales agent came back on phone and he told me that he did talk to his manager to fix the price and he said they will not fix the price. You have to pay $3,026.30 or they can refund me and it will take some time to reflect on your credit card. I ask him to let me talk to manager, he said waiting time is 40 min and sales agent advise me that I should try booking online. They after refusing to match their own advertised price, they refund me and now I have to wait some time to get refund.
After some time I came home and did all the things what I did before and price came up $2,682.68 and there was no mention about extra charges, so I did put the credit card and they charged me $3,026.30 again. I call them back again and the now sales girl came on phone and said that same thing, that there is something wrong with computer and the only thing she can do it is refund this amount, and she can book again and she told me that price will be $2,682.68. I told her I will go home and read the fine print, and now on my credit card bill is already $6,000 pending charges.
And I came back home, went on the internet again, read all the fine print. There was no mention at all about any extra charges, the total charges were showing $2,682.30 total price. So now I called back again and the sales agent told me the price is right $2,682.30. I asked him can you talk to his manager to make sure that this price will be charged on my credit card which is $2,682. He said yes this is the price. The final price. No extra charges no no no.
So again third time I gave him my credit card, sales agent book my flight assuring that he would charge me $2,682.30 and he booked the flight + hotel and charge my card again assuring me I will be charged $2682.30. Again I got the booking confirmation. Again they charge me $3026.30. All sales agents were help but no managers or owner supervisor willing to came forward to explain. You advertise you match that price. They ripping off people and hiding something.

The gentleman I spoke to today was very helpful in getting us what we needed. I didn't think I was going to find something because of the time frame but he kept searching until he found something and for what I felt like was an absolute fair price. I called to get help on making reservations because I could not see the type of room we were looking for on the website. The Lady that helped me was very friendly and very patient. She found what I was looking to book and assisted me in doing so. She also waited for me to make sure the confirmation email was in my email box.

Hotel had a lot to desire. Food was the same every day, with low budget items. Reservation for both restaurants on 1 site were a joke, you can only reserve from 12:00 to 3:00. Waited in line to be told it was full buffet, was low budget and there were lines to get in. Housekeeping would forget towels daily. Missed our flight due to flight being after midnight. 15 min was charge. Large amount for the same day flight. Large pool was dirty. No music or other entertain at night other than theater. We were hour by timeshare people at the airport. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. Timeshare people promise services that we spent much of our time waiting for.
The day of our anniversary we were to have romantic dinner that never came. Cozumel was beautiful, yet we would never stay at this hotel again and I doubt we would book with your agency again. Very disillusion with trip, hotel and organization of our flights. Only double beds were available when we requested a king. Asked about upgrade as we had lost one night due to flight confusion. Manager was rude and not accommodating at all. Low budget food snacks and drinks. Very disappointed with our trip. Not the romantic vacation we had plan.

I was able to navigate easily on your Bookit.com site until I requested a rental car from the supplied (Enterprise) app on your site while booking a vacation. I then placed a call to your office to overcome the issue and was told the rental car would be taken care of once I reach my destination and was given a rental car confirmation number?
If you are offering rental cars with your vacation packages, then you should follow through with the rental car booking and all matters associated with the booking and not leave it to the traveler to have to deal with (the stress) inevitably caused when they reach their destination airport! In this case... Unnecessary (hard sell) added costs for liability etc... that the traveler "WILL" be subject to! I'm quite sure you are familiar with what I refer to here in this message. The associate with your firm (Tamara) was pleasant and helpful to finalize my (vacation package). The rental car on the other hand will be an unneeded and unnecessary added stress.

I was very dissatisfied. I felt forced into a smoking room after booking with BookIt.com. We stayed at circus circus. On arrival I was informed that no non-smoking rooms were available. There should be an option when booking for non-smoking. We stayed in the smoking room for fear of losing money. The smell was terrible and my family and I ended up sick.

It's so bad when you were checking online and said "2 buffet free, no more fees" and when you arrive to check in fees by parking lot, no buffet. Nothing is true - is so bad.

Was overcharged at checkout with credit card. They quoted $900 but charged $1400 on my card. Tried to call customer service numerous times but after being on hold for over 20 mins I've not been able to speak to anyone to resolve. Feel like I've been fraudulently exposed by this company.

I booked just now a trip to Las Vegas but missed typing in the coupon code and choosing the restaurant.com certificate. I have booked with Bookit.com several times before but never had to select for the free restaurant.com certificate. I thought it came with booking. I see now it's not in my reservation. Please correct the reservation. I called in but could not get it resolved. I would also like to get the $10 discount. I would like to cancel the reservation and rebook it at no extra cost for the two items were the incentives.

I will never use your service or recommend your site to any of my colleagues. I made a reservation today and w/in hour to cancel due to hotel is too far. Wanted to charge me a fee, even online you charge a $25 fee. Unacceptable. No stars selected. Terrible service.

I booked my vacation and inadvertently choose the wrong room type. Although it's clear in their policy that "changes" are subject to additional cost... I felt it was quite unfair that for a room type change I had to pay $75 US per person. I will not use BookIt again for my vacation plans.

We booked our daughter's honeymoon 2 months in advance. Three days prior to the arrival date, I received an email stating that the age requirement for check-in was 25. (My daughter and her new husband are 20 and 21.) I called BookIt.com to see what could be done. I was told that the only choice was to change properties within the same company to one that wasn't as nice, but was the only one available. After spending an hour on the phone with BookIt.com, I received the cancellation email from BookIt.com for the original reservation, but had to go online to see the new one. My daughter called ahead to confirm the reservation on the day of check-in only to find out that there was no reservation in her or her husband's name and that there were no more rooms available.
Luckily, the original reservation with the property had never been canceled and by talking to the manager of the property and showing their marriage license they were able to stay. Needless to say, I am very unhappy that we were not told when making the reservation 2 months in advance that there was an age requirement for check-in. And then for the replacement reservation never to be made with the property just confirmed my decision to never use BookIt.com for any future travel plans.

This is my 1st time booking with you. I entered my email address and was given a promo code to save $70 but there was no place to enter the promo code. Also, on Friday, there was a special $5 fee for delayed payments (pay 1/4 now and the other 1/4s later). The screen told me I was not eligible since my vacation wasn't over $199 but my vacation was over $2000! Not happy!

Online seemed simple until we tried booking with airlines. It kept saying "flight(s) not available, try this." Then the new flight was unavailable, etc. Once we called, our booking agent was very helpful and we were able to finish quickly! Only shortcoming might be when our agent forgot to ask if there was any special requests for resort (which I forgot as well) and I had to call back and get a request sent. Hopefully the request was sent and received. Overall great experience with a few minor issues.

We really liked the whole concept of PayDelay for our upcoming trip. However we found that Expedia had the same vacation package for $100 cheaper. Not only did BookIt match Expedia's price, they went even lower and offered to upgrade for less than what was advertised on Expedia. It took about 10 mins to book everything over the phone and all questions we had were answered. We will always check BookIt before using any other travel website!

I'm generally skeptical of doing business with entities I'm unfamiliar with, but BookIt offered lowest price on familiar website for hotel I was interested in. Booking went off without a hitch, as did our check-in at hotel. Waited until entire experience was over to review. Was as happy with the accommodations as I was with the booking.

1st issue - called customer service 6 times with a wait time of over 30 min PER CALL and was hung up on each time! 2nd issue - finally got someone on the phone and had to pay $75 just to MODIFY a booking! 3rd issue - representative rebooked the WRONG room size, hung up on me again and now I'm stuck with the wrong size room or pay ANOTHER $75. Very disappointed. Only positive is the pay later option.

I have put this on social media. Friends have shared it. Y'all are already under investigation from the BBB!!! Beware of BookIt.com! I wanted to extend our family vacation by one night and thought I found a "deal" online. But The 3rd party company BookIt.com scammed me out of $106.00 after already paying $346.00 FOR ONE NIGHT. When I called to confront the company they said they would have a manager call me back. After 5 hours of not hearing from them I called them back. After being on hold for another 30 mins. I finally spoke to a manager. The manager's response was: "In the terms and conditions, it states there would be an extra fee. It is your fault that you did not read it."
Why would the confirmation emailed receipt say FINAL COST when there is a hidden charge??? It's a SCAM. At least Priceline and Expedia they disclose their fees/resort fees and say no "surprises". When we checked into the SanDestin Resort yesterday they were very courteous and had the best customer service. They were accommodating as much as they could be. They said that BOOKIT.com is the WORST 3rd party company because of the hidden fees!!! Just beware when using this service.

This hotel was overall good for the price we paid. The lady at the from desk was nice and super sweet. We got to the room and it actually smelled nice. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was super small and didn't smell too hot. But we managed. It has an elevator that smelled like mildew but it is outside. This is a pet-friendly hotel so of course we were right by pet owners whose dog barked at everything. The hotel is about an 1 hr and 15 mins away from PCB. It has a restaurant next door and a Wal-Mart at the next light. In all it was a decent experience. I'm not hard to please. I just needed somewhere decent to sleep while in Florida and that's what this place is.

The package deals you get from BookIt is outstanding and you don't have to pay for your whole vacation package upfront and that's what I love about BookIt. I was able to plan a nice vacation for my family and make monthly payments on the package deal I got. I did have to pay the flight portion which was an awesome deal.

The reason I am giving BookIt.com a 3/5 instead of 5/5 is because they do not price match vacation packages. I found a package (the same room and flight) on Hotwire.com for 200 dollars cheaper, and they would not honor that price. However the customer service agents were very nice.

I booked a resort with BookIt.com and then later I found a cheaper price for the same resort on Expedia.com and I told BookIt.com about it, because BookIt.com is supposed to guarantee the lower price possible. And when I asked them could they match the price of Expedia they told me they had no way of finding out if Expedia's price was cheaper. Which is odd to me because I assume BookIt.com has computers. But they acted like they didn't want to compare the price to Expedia. Until I said I was going to cancel then they asked me how much cheaper was Expedia. I told them $105. Then they said they would match $100. I guess adding that $5 is way too much. Really?!? Anyway I just thought it was really dumb that I had to say I was going to cancel for them to try to match the price. And I thought was really dumb that they said they didn't have the ability to compare the price. It's not that hard to go on the Internet and look at the price.

I had some issues with my booking so I called instead of trying to do it online. I waited on hold for 42 plus minutes. The total call was an hour. Companies are going away from person to person contact, I prefer it, and going to automated. KEEP YOUR JOB, GIVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DON'T LET A MACHINE TAKE YOUR JOB.

Terrible experience. The price they advertised was not the price I paid. Was forced to pay many extra surcharges upon arrival to the hotel. Reviewing the itinerary they put it in super small font at the very bottom where no one reads. Do not use this website!!! SCAM. UNETHICAL. Wish I had the option to leave ZERO STARS.

I was hit with an extra $140 of fees when I got to the hotel I booked. When I called BookIt.com they said it was "in the fine print". It was really upsetting. I didn't even receive a confirmation email or anything saying this would happen.

We hear you and understand, but all additional resort fees are clearly stated in the terms and conditions which you must agree to prior to booking as well as on your on your Guest Voucher under "Cancellation & Hotel Policies." This website was very helpful when booking our last-minute reservations because our other reservations did not work out and meet our standards. The only problem we had was booking the shuttle because the time that it was scheduled to pick us up we weren't there yet. I found that using this website pretty easy and simple to use. It has great offers and promos but too many restrictions. However, the options for payment are great. After trying to figure out where I want to stay during my short vacation for several hours on this website, now all I need to do is verify that everything is correct since it is not clear what I'll be getting for a rental. The description says one thing and the pictures say a totally different thing!

I was told I would get a 100% refund because it was within the 24 hr. She said there will be no charge on my credit card and she was waiving the cancellation fee. I waited for my credits to show on my card! May 8th 2016 was day charged! I had to call the airlines 6/19/16 to get my air credit! Also was not told I needed to call Travel Guard myself! To get refund from them. When she said there will be 100% refund I assumed it would be done by her, not me having to call these companies! So now I am disputing that charge! And I was charged $50 for cancellation because she told me I was getting 100% refund. I booked with this company again. I will not recommend this company to any of my friends because what I was told was not what this company gave me.

Overall, I was happy with the ease of research, purchase and payment of this site. Moving forward not sure if I would purchase airfare through the site especially Spirit. The airfare was somewhat reasonable through the site until I had to purchase bags, seats and other things through the airline and that added another $300.00 to the trip. My experience with BookIt was excellent. I had been looking on other sites and had almost booked on another, but I was just not satisfied. When I looked on BookIt I found the website to be very user-friendly as well as giving great descriptions of all the hotels where we wanted to go. I was able to change my mind on which hotel to go with because of the descriptions and the reviews that were offered. As far as recommending BookIt to others I would definitely do so. I used BookIt for the first time to go to Costa Rica. I was a little nervous because you never know which 3rd party site is better than another. I have to say I am VERY PLEASED with BookIt. I refer everyone to them mainly because of PayDelay. It's hard for a lot of us to just hand over a few thousand $$$ at once. PayDelay makes it easier and convenient. I have already planned my 2nd trip through BookIt and will be planning more in the future. Also, the one time I called customer service to make an "unscheduled" payment, they were MORE THAN helpful in taking my payment and adjusting the balance and the dates for the next payment.
The one suggestion I have is related to this: Put a link on the account where if we want to make another payment before a regular due date, we should be able to. Even though you divide payments into 3 or 4, when we book out far enough, some of us may want to make more payments. Having a link would be better than having to call and speak to someone. Even though the process worked well, it's still time consuming. Thank you BookIt. I am all in!!!

I booked an all inclusive stay at the Grand Oasis Palm in Cancun for TWO rooms. And paid for everything after a verbal agreement with the lady on the phone. But when I looked at my confirmation email I saw that I was only given one room after I paid for everything. When I called to get it fixed they admitted that their person had made the mistake and that if I wanted to change it to two rooms I would have to pay more money. So that's what I unfortunately had to do is pay to fix their mistake.
