Tires had cupping and tread down to 5/32 at 29,000 miles, with balancing done every year and alignment every other year. Tire dealer said I needed to apply for my warranty to Cooper directly. I’m in the process but there is no simple way to apply for warranty online. I will let you know what happens when I’m able to get through to them.

Marketing of $75 rebate is misleading as it is NOT made clear that the rebate is ONLY if you use a specific credit card, however you have to go into and research the requirements rather than it being explained up front. * Goodyear Credit Card offers are subject to credit approval. Get up to $75 back by online or mail-in rebate on a qualifying purchase of a set of 4 select Cooper® tires when the purchase is made on the Goodyear Credit Card from 12/1/2025 through 12/31/2025. Completed rebate form must be postmarked or submitted online no later than 1/31/2026.

DO NOT waste your time and money on Cooper Tires. After 3 years of gentle use on a luxury automobile, with 5 to 6/32" tread left, Cooper totally ignored my request for any kind of warranty, even though their website stated I should be AT LEAST entitled to new tires at 45% off of MSRP. All they did was direct me to some scamming company, Warranty Valet, who wanted money from ME to process their "Hassle Free" warranty claim. Cooper Tire, what a joke!

I purchased a set of Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek LT 275/65R20 for my 3500 GMC Denali. At about 20,000 miles I had the sidewall completely and instantaneously blow out at 65 mph. It ruined my rim, damaged my fenderwell and in the process of replacing the tire I had to buy 2. The tire had actually shown some fuzzing near the rim the day before but I thought nothing of it. I filed a property damage claim with Cooper/Goodyear. The tire was sent back for them to inspect.

I got a letter back saying the tire damage, and other damage was due to me driving on it when it was flat and there was no factory defect. The side wall had clearly come apart and I had stopped as quickly as possible. My Onstar report showed no problems with tire pressure until it went instantly to zero. I am extremely disappointed in the response and will now be involving lawyers, my insurance company, and the NHTSA. They were supposed to be top shelf tires but the customer service says different.

In 2022 I purchased 4 Cooper Discoverer AT3 S4 Light truck tires for my RAM 1500. I faithfully followed the 6000 mile rotation policy. These tires were supposed to last for 65,000 miles. That was the selling point that I was attracted to when I purchased them. They were worn out at just over 35,000 miles of light road use, to the point that the seller would not rotate them for safety reasons. That means they only lasted for 54% of the 65,000 mile sales pitch. The Seller said that was about average on Light Trucks. I liked the fact that the tires were quiet on the road and they seemed to perform well but they didn't last.

I bought a set of four Cooper tires from Pep Boys in Philadelphia PA in January 2025 for my 2007 Toyota Tundra, yesterday 9 May 2025, I washing my truck and saw that the front left tire looked liked the entire tread was falling off almost like it had been cut. Today I took it into Discount Tires (Cooper Dealer) since there is not a Pep Boys in St. George Utah. Three different Discount Tire folks looked at my tire, they had never seen anything like it. In addition to the tire falling apart, the letters along the sidewall all looked like they had been double stamped which led all of us to believe this was a manufacturing defect.

We called Cooper, they gave me 50% of the value of the tire back under the warranty which in my opinion was ridiculous since this was definitely a manufacturing quality control issue. I will never buy a Cooper Tire again, they should have reimbursed me for the entire tire. I ended up paying $145 today. Highly recommend you never use them. The Discount Tire Team was good, it wasn't their fault but as a Cooper Tire dealer, they should have been able to get me a full refund.

Bought a set of Cooper all season radios in fall of 2024, for my 2017 Silverado. Was told Cooper redid the AT3. The new style ride like rocks. Feels like a Fred Flintstones car. Been buying Cooper tires for 30 years, we'll be my last set.

Like many others complaining about Cooper Tires not honoring their rebate. I too have not received mine even though I have been approved. According to the 3rd party handling the rebate, Cooper Tires has not authorized them to load the Visa cards for rebates. When I contact customer service at Cooper Tires, they act like they have no idea as to why the delay is occurring. They make assurances they will look into it and get back with me. Obviously, if they had resolved this, I wouldn't be making this complaint. I wish I had never purchased the tires because if they won't honor their rebate in accordance with the terms of the promotion, I have little confidence they would honor their warranty.

Going on with my third set of Cooper 275/55r20 Adventures HT tires for my RAM 1500. On this truck this is my second set going on. The warranty is for 65,000 miles. I got 30,000 miles and could probably drive another 10,000 with the tread left. I was given 46% towards new tires prorated by the tread wear. I am very happy with that. I have never had an OEM Goodyear last more than 20,000 miles. I love the ride of these tires. Feels like you are on rails. They are smooth and quiet. Great for highway driving. Very impressive in rain. I would buy again, especially since they honor the tread warranty.

I purchased 4 Cooper Discoverer A/T Road and Trail 245/75/r16 from Walmart online. This was October 2024. I submitted the $100 rebate application and was notified via email that I was approved for the $100 rebate. Today is January 30, 2025 and I have still not received my $100 rebate. That was the sole reason I bought them. I've called the rebate center at least 5 times since December 2024 and every time they told me 2 weeks. That 2 weeks turned into 8 weeks and still no rebate. So far, no issues with the tires. But this whole experience, especially the rudeness when calling, has made Cooper Tires a tire I will never purchase again.
