Had tires installed on new F150 at local Firestone dealer few weeks back. Picking up the truck we found all 4 rims were damaged, some worse than others, in patterns around the center of the rims and with large chips on the face of 2 rims. Started a claim, got a call stating they were denying me. Asking why I was told my months old truck's rims were oxidizing, had hundreds of chips, and were not to be approved. I was floored! I asked for a copy of what pic (thinking it was the wrong vehicle) they were using as they never asked me to upload mine or for my video of the rims at the store with the employees checking them. He sent me one that an employee took after the damage occurred.

Rims had the normal coating of lubricant and the dings present… They also showed the reflection off the parking lot as they are all gloss black. They think the stones reflecting from the pavement are chips?! I sent back a pic of clean glossy black rims with the same damage markings inside my garage. I’ve heard nothing back. I’ve called Bridgestone again to try to escalate. I even offered an in person inspection, nada. Even the installed stated at the time they damaged them! Now we are looking at a small claims court filing. Will I ever purchase tires from Bridgestone Firestone again?

I have problems with vibrations on Bridgestone tires I bought, in May of 2023, on a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. It started out as a slight vibration and got steadily worse. I took the tire off the care and took it too Firestone at the Firestone Complete Auto Care Lee Summit location, on market Street. I had put the spare tire on the car, a Michelin radial. There are no vibrations with that tire on the car. The Firestone store checked the Bridgestone tire on their balancer with the road force test as well. They told me they could not find any problem with that Bridgestone tire. If the spare time is fine and no variations, then there has to be something wrong with the Bridgestone that was on the right front.

The manager wanted me to put the Bridgestone back on the car and bring it in. That is not going to change the fact something is wrong with that Bridgestone tire. I have worked on cars for over 50 years including at Firestone in the 1970's. I have taken that car, a 2004 Grand Marquis, to Firestone to three different one of their places, for rotation and rebalance several times. Out of all the times the tires were balanced perfect one time! I heard excuses from them trying to blame the vibrations on my car. Well if that is the case, they way were they balanced perfect only one time?

One guy at Firestone's place in Blue Spring, MO. told me that the wheels on my car were not the ones that came on the care. And that they are too wide for the tires. I measured the rim on a spare wheel, it measured 6.5 inches from side to side and that is not too wide. He also said they probably do not sit flush on the hubs, which I know they do. I found out from another shop where I get oil changes done, Midas. The manager has worked at different shops for over 40 years including Firestone. He looked at the Bridgestone tires and pointed out an emblem on the side wall of a mountain. He told me that means they are snow tires and that they hold in heat.

This refers specifically to Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack tires bought at Costco. Not a Costco problem as such except I could not return them. Time frame was too long due to circumstances unforeseen. These tires have been terrible in some regards and okay in others. They are not quiet at all. You can't hear the other person in the front seat. The gas mileage has dropped 10% over the Michelin energy tires. The speedometer is off by 3-4 percent over. That is good for speed zones but even makes my mileage per litre worse. They handle okay and do okay in winter. Not enough to offset the road noise and mileage changes

I purchased 4 Bridgestone weather peak tire at Firestone complete auto care on 1/3/24. The tires had a 70,000 mile warranty with proper maintenance. My car has had regular maintenance and rotated regularly and has always been in alignment. My car failed PA inspection on 3/16/25 for tire tread less than 2/32’s on the middle of the tire. I contacted the warranty department at Bridgestone and they will not cover the tires saying that there is in proper wear on the tire. The tires are faulty and wearing improperly through no fault of my own and the company will not warranty their product. After speaking to multiple places that sell the Bridgestone weather peak tires, I have found this is a common issue and the company will not back their product that has a warranty. The tires have less than 20,000 miles on them and they will not pass a PA state inspection.

I purchased four Bridgestone Dueler Ascent (22") tires on 08/16/2024. In November I became aware of a severe tire defect when we had icy road conditions. The tires are very dangerous on snow and ice. The tires don't grip and wanted to throw the rear-end of the vehicle into a skid. Also, the tires don't have a good "clean-out", which means snow lodges in the tread to make the tires like racing slicks. I contacted the shop where I purchased the tires within the 90-days of the alleged warranty to complain about the slippage. I asked if the tires were recalled or if they had other complaints; the shop clerk advised they had no recalls or other complaints.

After experiencing a near loss-of-control again, I once again contacted the shop and they suggested I check for wheel alignment, so I made an appointment – which was booked-out for more than two-weeks, so the alignment was performed on 11/26/2024. Nothing was noteworthy on the alignment. I also researched the vehicle to see if the anti-slip may have contributed to the sudden loss of traction; no other complaints were lodged and the vehicle was owned by one owner in Canada. I contacted Bridgestone to advise of the hazardous tires, but they really didn't care. Shop wisely, Bridgestone also makes other brands of tires.

I sent a contact message to Bridgestone in September 2024 regarding our 2022 Honda Odyssey, which was purchased at Honda Cars of McKinney. I am frustrated that our vehicle, which had only 26,000 miles on it, was taken in for service at our current dealership, Brandon Honda in Florida, and we were informed that the vehicle required new tires. I rarely drive this vehicle outside of a 20-mile radius of my home, so there is minimal wear and tear on the tires. Your warranty states that the tires should last for 50,000 miles. I am deeply disappointed that I previously wrote an email and no one responded to me via email or phone. I would not purchase these tires - unfortunately they came with the new vehicle.

3 sets of tires worn out in less than 23,000 on my Lexus NX450h+. These tires last barely 4,000 miles and I am now in need of two more. Bridgestone rudely assailed me on the phone that there is no mileage warranty at all on these tires. Curious eh? Until Late winter of 2023, the only source to buy these were the dealer as Bridgestone had none in any warehouse in the US- My local Firestone/Bridgestone dealer and manufacturer confirmed they weren't going to have any in production until December 2023.

At over $ 400.00 a tire- do the math. I also had one tire fail due to flat (nail) and a sidewall bubble (likely a pothole). Had to replace the other front tire at same time due to wear. What a racket. These are harsh tires, handle poorly, have terrible grip and clearly, are poorly designed and executed. Each replacement required me driving 4 hours to nearest Lexus dealership to replace tires (no other tire agency had these available). In the 60 years of driving, I have never tires wear out in 3000 miles. PS. I am a safe driving adult who doesn't tear up tires. Save your money, put anything not Bridgestone on your car and go for regular inflatable tires- non-run flats and carry a can of tire sealant and an inflator.

I purchased a new car with these tires on it. Right away I have noticed an imbalance with the tires. I took the car back 430 miles on the car/tires and had a technician ride with me, he said he felt the same thing I was feeling. Rebalanced the tires, I get the car back seemed ok for a little bit, oh wait, got up to speed, noticed a little bit. Gave it a day and it got worse and worse. Brought the car back right away, 4 days later to have them fix the issue. Still waiting from the dealership, it’s been at the shop almost as long as I’ve owned the vehicle because of these tires.

I’m in a loaner vehicle and it’s got the same issue with the same tires as my new car does. We have another vehicle same year and brand with Falken tires and it does not have the same issues as these Bridgestone’s. My advice is that Bridgestone has an issue with their tires and needs to recall them as defective and take ownership of their problem before it turns into a larger problem for them. Make it right and fix your products!

I purchased 4 BFS Weatherpeak tires from Costco 12 months ago and noticed that the front tires wore out. The car had been aligned after purchase and all 4 tires showed signs that they wore down too quickly. The car went 15K miles in 12 months and the fronts were 3/4 out of 10 and the rears 7 out of 10. Bridgestone and Costco both decided it was a broken car, though not mechanics and told us to buy 4 new tires. The fact they wore out quickly was not the tire per Bridgestone even though they went bad so quickly. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY SINCE THEY MAKE FAULTY PRODUCT AND DO NOT STAND NEXT TO THEIR PRODUCT. I have receipt and photos available but not uploaded.

The place I bought them said they can’t replace it because it no longer sold so they did not let me use the warranty. Wanted me to pay for a up model of 1 tire so I would have different tires. Anytime there is a slight change in weather the tire pressure falls drastically and I’m constantly having to fill them with air (sometimes >15 psi) which is a major inconvenience and I’ve never had this much of issue with other brands. I chose the Bridgestone brand due to a rebate they had on the purchase of 4 new tires. It took over 12 weeks to receive my rebate and then when I received the card in the mail it had an expiration date which didn’t allow me a chance to use it. I called the 1-800-926-3716 customer support line and spoke to a lady that said since my rebate card had expired she couldn’t help me. When I brought them in to be serviced, I was told there was no warranty that covered that and they believed Ii did the the damage to the tires and told me I would need to purchase 2 new tires.

Keep in mind, one tire was front right side, other was back left side... How is it even possible to damage tire walls when the tires had no scratches. I bought four ECOPIA EP422 PLUS tires through Costco in April 2020. My vehicle is an European Market Import with the odometer and dashboard in metric system, registered in Canada. The proposed Warranty: 70k miles, equivalent to 120k kilometres. When the tires were installed, the odometer clocked 432,000 km. The tires were rotated more frequently at the suggestion of Meineke in Missoula after a thorough inspection. So I rotated the tires about every 2k miles or 3k kilometres, instead of the general suggestion of every 6k miles or 10k kilometres. The tires were wearing evenly without any further issues other than the thread clocking already 4/32nds in June 2021 with the odometer clocking 475,000 km, which is about 30k miles or 50k kilometres, literally less than half of the proposed warranty. Costco will not rotate the tires anymore if it reaches 2/32nds.

To add insult to injury, one of the tires blew flat in Nevada on a paved road but the air temperature was around 106 F which means the pavement was very hot. Above 120 F, we believe it blew by going slow over one of those horrible cattle guards that have sometimes sharp edges. I didn't drive the tire flat that long and it had been already damaged on the walls. The warranty is void in said case, but the tire personnel at Costco told me that Bridgestone makes tires with soft walls, in contrast with their competitors who will make the walls much harder to avoid said damage. Tires wear faster by driving at higher speeds, albeit I rarely exceeded my own cruising speed of 55 MPH or 90 km/h. With all the science data exposed above and being myself a scientist, my conclusion is that I have been scammed and I should try to recover some of the costs in court, and I am never purchasing Bridgestone tires again.

I wonder if the consumers were following the preventive maintenance, you MUST rotate and balance your tires at 5,000 to obtain maximum wear & tear. I read some reviews that stated rubber falling out, were these used cars? If so, you do not know what former owners have or not have done as far as maintaining the vehicle, sounds like dry rotted tires to me!

I had such a great experience with my tires that original came with my Toyota, they were the Turanza EL440 and I got maximum wear & tear out of my tires. Due to me having a long work commute daily, it's time for me to purchase NEW tires 60, 000+ miles. I went to Firestone to purchase the Bridgestone Turanza Quiet Track that will give me 80, 000 miles with following the proper maintenance recommendations. You find that most people do not rotate & balance their tires as recommended and that it was causes many issues with tires.
