I purchased a house where the previous owner was with Direct Energy, I tried for well over a month to have an account set up with them many, many calls and chats with much frustration. I spoke to a different person every time and they could never get my account to go active. Kept saying it was a glitch in their system! Nearly every time I called I was on hold for 20 minutes up to nearly an hour. No one could ever help me and I had to tell the same story over and over. They never called me to give me an update. Always just told me to "give it 48 hours". I finally gave up and called Reliant and had my account setup with service within 24 hours. Worst customer service I've ever experienced!

Direct Energy coming to my door persistently try talk me into so called saving money and mailing me letters for years! I finally trusted the them and got promised at least $2 saving. He try get me and said no fees. Paid it. Charged. Didn’t make much sense. I trusted him with his lies and been getting billed one year and getting bills doubled than before when I only use very little and had low bills before this. Also he been billing my gas also and I was not informed of this at all. I called to discontinue it when I noticed 45 to 59 electric bill and usually it’s $20. I don’t run anything different, even turn off lights to save on electric. This is crazy. High billing for no different usage than before. They refused to give me the name of the guy they sent to lie and get my signature! I want him fired or I want to press charges for refund as this is manipulation, deception.
I’m poor on low income and have a dog and bills and taxes to pay. I’m single income and he said they’d bill me for few months cycles after I stop service. Well I didn’t have money or time to get an attorney to go over their paperwork first and was never told of them billing both utilities and for what? I don’t save anything and are not using anything more so why is the bills doubled now? They should refund me for a year of charging me with promises of savings instead. I want my money they been deceptively taking without telling me about in first place or I’d never of signed anything with them and I didn’t need to. My bills were low before I got them. Now I may lose my house due to them double billing me.
I barely make it buy at the half charges before my bill jumped up and nothing's running and nothing different. Direct my **. It’s just a way for them to get double billing money on your bill. I told him I don’t know one else from direct energy ever bothering knocks on my door pan handling ever again. I knew I they were gonna do this because it’s all about commission, money and sakes. You get nothing and no savings. All you get is a double billing for nothing and a headache trying to drop the charges. I want my money refunded n the name of their worker that lied to get my signature!!!

The app and website clearly showed that the plan comes with Amazon Prime. Once I signed the contract, it no longer appears. Very misleading and I will be encouraging others to not go with this. Support team wants me to clear my browser cache to view the new rates. Isn't that hilarious?

Terrible billing, so confusing to understand and they make it that way to extort additional money. Reps are rude and constantly giving wrong info. Switched to TXU. Never again will I use their service.

I have been a long term customer with Direct Energy and when they began advertising their latest discounted rates, I called in and asked for the same price that they are now giving to new customers. The sales person was terrible, through arguing with her I told her that if they couldn’t offer me the same deal as other customers that I would go elsewhere. She finally said she would adjust my rate. I thought that was the end. Two days later I receive a CLOSE OUT BILLING from Direct Energy, stating my account has been closed. They charged me $250.00 extra on top of my regular monthly billing to close out the account. I called in immediately, asked to speak to a Manager and asked why my account was closed.
He gave me a 15 minute convoluted story, however I kept explaining to him that I DID NOT ASK FOR THE ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED. He said in order for me to receive the new rate that all other customers are receiving, they had to close the account and terminate the current plan?! Since when? This is unacceptable FRAUD. They are just creating more paperwork and passing on the costs to the customer, for no reason whatsoever. This is how they treat their long term customers. I still have not received any communication or update from Direct Energy as a result of their mistake and POOR service.

I was with Just Energy paying 12.73 ¢/kwh after all the fees and taxes. Then a guy representing Direct Energy explained that they don’t have green fees and taxes added on because they were all calculated in the bill. It sounded good to me and was about 2¢/kwh lower. I had to pay a cancellation fee to Just Energy, but I was promised that Direct Energy would reimburse me for that (I haven’t seen a penny of it yet). I got my first Direct Energy bill and the base kwh were correct, but they tacked on a Centerpoint Energy fee of 4.17 ¢/kwh over and above their base bill. That is 34% extra added on. Now I am stuck in a contract with them and will have to pay thousands of dollars extra over the next 3 years. If you are with Just Energy stay there!

The first couple of years with Direct Energy was great and my bills were very low but after I renew the contract, the bills sky rocket and I was being charge 30+ cents per kwh. I went with another company last month and I understand the termination fees is to be $150. Turns out they also added an Adjustable fee of $493.29 which the customer service team can not give me a breakdown of what that is. It's like they just throw a number on the wall and charge me that fee with no justification. They said they will send me a breakdown of what was charge but they sent me a corrupt file hoping I won't call back. Since Sept 2023 my average kwh usage was less than 800 for the month and my bills are averaging $270. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. BTW, I still don't have the breakdown of my Adjustment fees.

I had Direct Energy for my provider from 2008 to 2018. I was very happy with the overall experience. I moved back to the area in 2022 and immediately called Direct Energy for service since it was so awesome when I used them prior. From 2022 until my contract was up May, 2024 I had HORRIBLE service. First of all the rates were extremely high. When I called to discuss, I had to speak with people I could not understand and NEVER got help or satisfaction. I found out later that Direct Energy sold their company to someone else (apparently to another country) and that is why EVERYTHING was different.
I have fulfilled my contract, paying every high payment on time. I had the service disconnected the day after my contract was fulfilled. They are still wanting to charge me an Early Termination Fee if I don't leave them a forwarding address. (I am traveling out of Texas and DO NOT have an address right now). (I moved out of my apartment a month prior to terminating my electric service to finish the contract and turned off the breaker. I have called and made any final payments.) Horrible company. You can take every word I said to heart. You DO NOT want to use this company.

Just overall terrible. Their customer service department is useless. The kiosk sales people are scammy. Bad leadership qualities overall. Just look at the reviews, it's all bad and that pretty much sums it all.

I tried ordering energy from this provider. Applied online, tried calling to confirm, no one would pick up so I just assumed I wasn't getting service. The following day after I already set up service with another provider they sent a confirmation email stating they started service. After having to fight to get through to someone to cancel the service they are charging me for a cancelation fee. Then they said they cancelled the service, didn't cancel the service and now it is 11:39 pm. Finally got someone who says they cancelled the service but so they can charge me. This is the worst company in the world for energy. Customer service is Trash. I better not be charged because you fail to provide customers the service they should be provided. I highly recommend investing in better support. This company should be shut down. I had no information, no agreement of when the service would be on. Turn off the service and stop ripping people off. It should be illegal for you to even exist as a company.

I would like to give 0 if I can. Here's a cautionary tale about using Direct Energy as your electric provider. Our contract was expiring in February so we called about renewing it. We were told of a plan that was better than our current one and it would save us money. He even told us our highest usage last year during the summer would be a smaller payment under this plan. So, we signed up for a year. A month goes by and we were charged $150 for a minimal???? Calls are made saying why this is the case.
Bottom line - Direct Energy said they reviewed the phone call and they say we were told $150 is the minimum you will pay every month and it will only go higher on usage. This is a LIE - we were never told that. I asked to release the phone conversation record for us and they rejected. Why would we sign up for such a stupid plan. To make matters worse, they give us a new plan - called Direct Solar - we agree, but a few minutes later they call back and say since we don't have solar panels, that was a mistake and they reneged on it. We finally settled for another plan. So, lesson learned - if you use Direct Energy be very careful cause they will LIE to you. If you don't use Direct Energy, good for you and don't use them. The service is terrible!

I do not recommend. Single mother on a budget every month. Was able to pay what I could (300) which left me with a 56 dollar balance. Only 56 and my electricity was cut off 5 days before I got my first of the month check to pay my new bill generated which was 250 and that included the 56 I had left from the previous month. Called spoke to 5 different levels of supervisors and was denied any help. Since it was cut off they couldn’t offer me a payment arrangement but when it was on they still wouldn’t offer me a payment arrangement without paying 30$ right then and there.
I’ve been with other companies and have never seen or heard electricity being cut unless you were and I understand 300, 509 maybe even 800 behind but 56$ that’s ridiculous. Especially if you sent a new bill including that vast due balance that is dated for next month way past the first, due date to be exact is 4/10 and it gets paid on first EVERY MONTH. Yes I’m adult but everyone has their times. I paid 300 so who would have thought the remaining 56 would terminate service.

I signed up with Direct Energy and had the services for 18 months. When I changed to a different provider I received a huge bill to which I called for clarification. Upon receiving clarification I made arrangements with agent and it was accepted. Not 2 weeks later, I was contacted by a rep demanding payment in full to which I responded that arrangements had already been made; he would not acknowledge the arrangements. I followed up with an email outlining from there no phone calls would be received by me and that letters or emails only as I wanted it in writing. This email was acknowledged by 2 representatives. Now I receive a letter that it is going to collections yet I never missed a payment. I have sent Direct Energy a scathing letter in regards to this plus I have contacted the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Do not use this company as they are out and crooks!

Made a payment arrangement and they still disconnected after I fulfilled my end of the bargain and I’ve been with them for years. 1st time making arrangement and then this happens. Not good look for business. Angry I just renewed this month for another year. May be seeking other alternatives.

NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with this company. They are extremely incompetent, unethical and do not have good business practices in place. They are extremely dishonest. You cannot reach any representative who have the comprehension grater than a kindergartener. The company operates like a 3rd world country and is extremely ineffective. Representatives are extremely limited on their knowledge and cannot assist you with your issue and they barely speak English.

Had service set up to be transferred on 1/13. Found out there was going to be a 3 day gap in my service being turned off and the landlords service being turned on. I set up a pay as you go account to turn power back on for 3 days. After approximately a week, I tried to get it shutoff. Now, on 2/7, I have been told 3 completely things and dates of when disconnection will happen. Had to pay $75 to get it restored. Now, after almost a month, the $75 is about used up for a house I don't even live in and had 2 providers serving that house. How damn stupid can you be and how many times do you feel the need to lie to a customer??? Another of these damn comments of, "oh sir, I completely understand" and I'll leave and pay the early termination. Rest assured, more phone calls will be made. Customer service sucks!!

I was already frustrated by phone calls 3 months prior to my contract ended telling me I needed to renew right away because my 1-year contract was "almost up." I needed to update payment info after my last card was canceled due to fraud. The payment couldn't be updated online because any link to add payment logged me out as the user and returned me to the login page. This error was consistent both on my phone and PC, I assume to force customers to call sales reps. I found it was much easier to switch service providers than update my payment so I did. I've received a final bill with a $136 cancelation fee+ various "fees" totaling $176 yet the bill overall inexplicably says I owe $208, a $32 discrepancy not accounted for on the bill whatsoever.

I have been a Direct Energy customer for years until recently because they have inflated prices and they signed me up for a "BLOCK" plan against my knowledge that said I agreed to pay them $200 a month REGARDLESS.. if I use my electricity OR NOT! Now, how does that even make any sense and who would sign up to that agreement! Then they stated I'm also on an "Average" billing plan to keep my bill lower, but yet I still need to pay $200... so refer back to the "BLOCK" plan. After talking to several people in customer service who couldn't do anything about my bill, or the price hikes, I decided I'll just pay the early termination fee of $200 to cancel my account, and at the time of me doing this my bill was $104. They canceled my account and sent me a bill for $576...

I was a witness in a case and had to be relocated for my life at the split of a second and a non profit organization helped me relocate and did a new lights for me and send in my identification and certification waiver letter and I was told my identification was expired, then they didn't contact nobody 1 time and never tried to verify again. These people gave me hell and still not connected. I stop trying after 10 days. This Company could care less about customer care or satisfaction. It's all about a $1. Nothing else.

Switching from Direct Energy. They have overcharged me for the last 3 months. My bill went up 30% and I am in a contract so it didn't lapse. I have renewed with them several times over the past several years. I have been with them since they took over from Bounce Energy so from the beginning. They shouldn't treat their loyal clientele like this. I emailed them and they offered to "explain" the bill. I don't need an explanation, I need a cheaper bill. I will have a cancelation fee but cest la vie, that's life. I'm not paying a company who rips off their loyal customers. I found a much cheaper company at comparepower.com. I am optimistic for my new company but very disappointed in Direct Energy.

I am currently and for the last four years a customer of Direct Energy. I didn't have any problems with them in the first years with them. I was on a month-to-month plan so I kinda watched the bill. I don't remember any patterns to it but every once in a while I would look at the bill and think that seems too high? Then I would check months before and find yes they raised the rate this month and this month to my surprise. After seeing the rate go up, I would call them and call them out on my rates. Then as if they already knew why I was calling, "Oh yes that high, let me see what rate I can get for you." Shortly after I am at a rate that I feel is reasonable but it is just a little higher than where I began. I don't write reviews. This is my first one. I can't really type. I understand rates go up, that makes perfect sense. Everything is costing more.
I continue to be a loyal customer. Calling them out when I see rate go up, but never did I see a message of any kind warning me of the increase, or even informing me. It was like they tried to sneak it by, if I didn't notice, more for them. This back and forth goes on for a while, my rate going up each time but now I am comparing prices just to make sure they are fair market price. This brings us to about 18 months ago when I see Direct Energy offering free power nights and weekends I thought. I talked with sales person and they never corrected me at all. I am interested in the nights and weekend plan I tell them. Oh yes and away they go informing me of all the details but the fact that it is free nights OR weekends.
Every time saying free nights AND weekends when they spoke. Is there any questions about this plan? I remember so clearly. I thought to myself yeah let's go with this one, it sounds good, I can just adjust my usage like they suggested I do and I will save a lot. I then ask, "Did you tell me what is or if there is a cancellation fee?" I can never forget the answer I was told. They said, "There is NO cancellation fee if you move." I was in thought for a moment. I repeated what was told to me in my head. That doesn't answer my question so I just asked it differently. What is the cancellation fee. They replied with the same answer then went on talking about whatever. When I found a opening, I asked, "How much does it cost if I cancel and don't move?" That worked, I was told $200 this time.
It will not matter, this plan is for 18 months and it sounds perfect for me. I agree to the free nights AND weekends plan. They set me up with the free nights AND weekends plan, every everything worked out great. Hahahahaha I got my first bill and quickly figured out there is no nights AND weekends plan, it is one OR the other. Thankfully I was signed up with the free nights. I adjusted my schedule and my habits such as washing/drying laundry, washing dishes, and anything that used a lot of power. It was not easy at first, but I got used to it. It was a good plan.
My home would use, I will directly look at the numbers on my bill. According to my bill from Direct Energy, I used never under 1000kWh and sometimes up to 2400kWh, I don't disagree with these facts at all. I am looking at bill for 03/10/2023 right now, I see 1,164kWh for Nov/Dec bill, and 2,326kWh for Jan/Feb bill. These are facts. I feel like I did very well with this plan. My bill was up to over $600 on some months but I used most of that power on the free hours of the day. I could not get the bill very much below $200. To be clear for 18 months I felt like I was winning this rate struggle with Direct Energy. I had to adjust, but my bill was $200 give or take every month, even with some months being 2,400kWh the free hours were taken off the bill. This brings us about a week ago. I was not sure what day my plan ended but I knew it was soon or just passed?
On August 22, 2023 I call to see how much I owe them, pay them, see if I am early or late to pick a new plan, and pick a new plan. My first question is how much do I owe? I want to pay all of it, start fresh. The woman tells me $274.95. Almost $300 so I think that is a month and two weeks. I asked to pay everything up to this point, she told me this, I paid it. I then went into the plans, hoping to get the same plan again. I could get the same plan again but my rate would go from .221248/kWh with free power from 9pm to 9am to the new rate for that plan for me, the 4 years of loyalty rate of .272159/kWh with free power from 9 to 9. Here I go again giving the benefit of the doubt, things go up.
I agree and everything goes smooth I think till today. It is August 30th now, I started this on the 29th. Before my long day at work I called to speak with Direct Energy about a bill I got that I thought was a welcome letter to my new plan I picked just 7 days before, but no, it was a bill for$399,46? After speaking to them I didn't feel any better about it.
They billed me invoice date of 08/23/2023 for 7/24/2023 to 08/22/2023 at my new rate as they explained to me because that time period was not in contract and would be even higher if they didn't. So basically I got a bill for 7 days for $400. I accept this new information, but I am not happy. I feel like I was lied to and I did so well with the plan they wanted their money back. I tried to see what other plans were open to me in this first call and the ONLY other one was average billing. I am sorry but this is not the end. I call again, explained what was going on and they told me to hold and they would see what was an option for me. 5 or so minutes they return with average billing. I tell them, "No thank you."
"Then ask to be clear, you said the average bill for the last 12 months would be my rate, is that the amount I paid (my bill) like I was told, or do you mean the average amount of power I used in the last 12 months?" You guessed it like I did, it would be based on the average amount of power I used in the last 12 months. This is why I am writing the review. The wording when talking to Direct Energy employees is worded to mislead you. This is a fact. How much was the cancellation fee? There is NO cancellation fee, wrong that is only if you move. Night and weekends, wrong it is night or weekends. These are only the ones I have for you. I am sure they tricked me so many times with the clever wording. I will finish this soon. But I want you to know whoever makes it this far, they don't care, and why would they? It is a company that will mislead you, fact.
They will do all they can to get as much as possible out of you. Back to the end of this. In my second call to them I explain the situation and the guy was very helpful he removed a late fee? I don't have a clue where from of $13.75 well that should fix everything. The first time he put me on hold he had nothing available to me other than what I already knew. We were saying our thank yous and goodbyes when I hear, "We appreciate your 4 years with us." My reply was, "I can't tell by the way you do your billing." Then he says, "Let me see what I can do." "What do you mean? You did that already at the first of the call?" I say. I am put on hold for this time a lot longer, I didn't time it but I would guess 10 to 12 minutes. Then sure enough he found another plan. It was a game, like buying a car at a dealership. I was told I could change my plan to a different one.
This one he offers me, but I will have to pay the $200 fee for canceling my changeable plan just minutes before. The end I called another provider but I am sure they will not be able to use my meter until I pay Direct Energy for what is actually 7 days of service, from the 22nd when I paid off my entire debt to them, to what is now yesterday the 29th, a bill of if I have not been lied to again $399.46 minus $13.75 = $385.71 plus $200 cancel fee. so 7 days = $585.71 If I had to guess that is probably everything I saved over the last 18 months, lol my advice with electric providers is find the best plan every time.
Your loyalty to them will only get deeper in your pocket. Don't stay for 4 years and leave with a almost $600 bill for 7 days. Take the promotion that you like the best, and then take the one you like the best again with no thought as to who the provider is. It does not matter, all of the power comes from Oncor for me. The provider is just a middleman trying to make as much as possible. Good luck. Enjoy the game, and listen clearly.

This company charged more than twice the amount per therm as my local utility company. I finally changed back to my local utility and in the first month after doing do, my bill dropped by more than two thirds. As a senior on a fixed income, I feel completely taken advantage of. Don't use this company!

This is the worst utility company ever. I don't recommend to sign with it as you can tell most of the clients are not happy with this company and when you look at their rates you will see the rate is 5 stars. Somebody obviously is cheating the reviews system within. They will sign you up for 2 or 3 years but they will bail out after 35 months so they can send a sky high bill. Be careful if you switch the company. They send you a cancellation fees bill and make you double pay the last bill amount and send it to collection dept.

I recently found out from a reputable source, that I may have been scammed into paying too much per month. I was told to get legal counsel, someone to check into this, possible lawsuit. Ask anyone else you know who may have them as their supplier to also do the same. Maybe class action.

I own a house. **. I do not live in this house. It is a rental house. They put a switch hold on because a tenant did not pay his bill. For 3 weeks we have been trying to get it removed. I have sent everything they've asked. I even received an email stating switch hold removed. Now I have new tenants trying to move in. They went through their provider to transfer service to the address. Cannot turn power on because Direct Energy put the switch hold back on. These people had to cancel their movers and they're about to be homeless because of direct energy. For 3 weeks I have been sending them everything they needed to remove the switch hold prior to renting out the property. I did not want new tenants to have to go through this. It is not right what they're doing. They've blocked my rental house from being rented, They are causing my new tenants to possibly go homeless, They have been sent everything they have asked for over the last 3 weeks.
My deed, my note, they wanted a copy of the previous tenant's lease. They have received everything they need to remove the switch hold. If this is not illegal it should be. The news needs to know about this. The people need to know about this. This is a company that does not care. I have tenants that have nowhere to go because of direct energy. Again direct energy even emailed me and said switch hold was removed after I sent them a copy of my deed to show I own the house and I'm not the one that owed the money. Now they decide to put the switch all back on. They're totally messing up innocent people. That is not right. Today I even tried to find out what my previous tenant owed. I was just going to pay it. Then take them to court to get my money back. They wouldn't even give me that information because I'm not on the account,. So there is no way I can get my new tenants in my house. Wes **

I think this company is absolutely great. But then again I signed up with Direct Energy through UES. As long as you have some form of broker signing you up, you get a great low price that doesn't move with inflation. My price is fixed and nothing about my bill changed. Can't argue with the results. I usually would never write a positive review about an energy company, but I felt it was necessary to write one since I read all these reviews before signing up with them and I have had nothing but positives to say.

I signed up for the 2-month free Electricity Plan. I was going over my billing to try and find my 2 free months. Because I had a credit with them thru the TRR Program. I could not find 1 month with a $0,00 on it. I called and spoke with a supervisor. The actual power is the only thing free, not the services or the delivery of the power! Nothing but the Jules used, Not the kilowatts. This is the same for the free weekends plan and any other so-called free plans. So, Do Not Assume that they are free the more that you use, the delivery of that power is charged per kilowatt and the rental of the service to provide the power to your home is charged and the tax on the free power is also charged on your bill.
My bills are around 225-250 a month and for the 2 free months, I was given a $102.00 credit for the power! That is for both months, not each month. SO FYI: They are using bait advertising without transparency of actual billing. Nowadays I guess false advertising, Trap Contracts, and Bait and switch deals are ethical and accepted. Less on Customer Care and Service and more on The Buyer Beware. JUST SAYIN'!

Have been a customer with Direct Energy for years. Never had a problem with them and for the most part reasonable in price. However, I caught an overcharge they have been billing me for the past 2 months, and I called them out on it. At first they were going to refund the amount and I paid my original bill amount. Few days later I receive a text that my electricity is going to be turned off because of a balance I owed. It was the balance they overcharged me for, and are making me pay this amount and then will be credited to my account for the next bill cycle. I should of never been charged to begin with. Now I'm having to pay for their error just so they can credit it back to my account. Makes no sense. They charged me this fee for 2 months without me knowing it. I don't appreciate it. And I will be looking for another electric provider.

I have a condo that I decided to rent out and the tenants are responsible for setting up their own account. I received a bill under my name from Direct Energy. I contacted them and disputed the account set up and charges and had my tenants set up their own account. When I contacted their office to dispute the charges and set up I was told I would be called back. How can an account be set up without the consent of a person. That never happened and I received another bill. Then I contacted them again and provided them with the account number for my tenants to have the amount owing transferred to them. That did not happen so then I received another bill, called again to be told that this would be resolved and that I would not be charged and that my account would be closed.
Fast forward another month and I start getting calls from their collection agency which would hear nothing I would have to say and said my dispute was denied. If I did not pay by a set date that it would show up on my credit score. This has been extremely frustrating and I am out of pocket with no support to the matter. A person should not have accounts set up without their knowledge, concerns should be addressed. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Had their service for 2 years and was treated well. I was set up for paperless billing and auto pay. But when I switched to a different provider, they locked out my account so I could not see my final bill. Then they kept charging my account saying I had not paid. My attached Account was charged multiple times with the 3 months' previous amounts and they kept adding fees for 4 more months. If you are going to force folks to do Online business DO NOT lock the Account. I will not use this service or recommend to anyone because of this practice.

I received a rejection letter from Direct Energy 11/3/21. They state my Duke Energy account number was wrong. I called 11/4/2021 the phone number provided on the letter to resolve the issue. I was told at that time it could take up to 2 months to switch. I Checked my Duke invoice and my Electric supplier still had not changed. I have spoken to no fewer than 8 people and they are blaming me for not contacting them when I was notified via mail of an account number problem.
I have every name and date of who I have spoken with. I finally got Employee to admit the employee on 11/4/21 who re-entered my account number did not re-enroll my re-entered account number. As we all know rates are higher today and Direct Energy refuses to honor my Enrollment rate in 2021. Follow through is important with Direct Energy if you choose to use them. When our corporate account expires at work I will be switching to another entity. This has soured me towards Direct Energy.

We purchased a house that had a Direct Energy tankless hot water system lease. We asked the real estate agent to make sure the owners cancelled the lease. During the month we took over the property, we contacted Direct Energy to make sure that the lease would be cancelled, the staff member of Direct Energy stated it could be cancelled. We contacted Direct Energy this past week to confirm cancellation, and they denied the request stating we should have saved the information from the previous agent. We are stuck either paying thousands of dollars to cancel or keep the contract, which we never signed, for four years! We are reaching out to any and all organizations, networks, legal, communities to voice our total disagreement of their policies and practices. We have already reached out to the BBB and their complaints department. There will be more to come.

Good evening everyone. I normally don't write reviews on electric companies but if I can help someone in regards to making a good decision I will. I am currently with Direct Energy and has just received a pink slip regarding my lights, when in fact I was told I would get a deferred agreement plan. I talked to a supervisor and he heard the phone conversation and refused to give me an ext because of their mishap. Come to find out the deferred payment was offered but it was not applied. Needless to say, a big waste of time.
Then the supervisor offered an ext if I can pay a down payment, well that did not happen either and to make the phone call more uncalled for the supervisor goes into how sorry he is that he can't help. I was very disappointed being that we stayed on the phone for a minute just to get negative results. The reason I am writing this review, is to warn others that they can care less about helping but in fact all about their money, which I do get it but to not help at all is beyond me. Please go somewhere else, perhaps you will get treated better.

I can't speak for the US branches, but my family has been using Direct Energy Calgary/Edmonton for our business for a while now-- They recently renewed our service at triple last year's rate without obtaining consent, telling us that we were informed by paper mail, despite us opting in for fully online (paperless) communications since the start of our original contract. We tried to navigate the situation to make both parties happy, offering to pay a discounted rate (but still higher than original) but we received no compromises on their end, only pressures to pay the last few months on the new 3x rate. When we refused, they eventually employed a debt collection team to pester us. Stay away from the Albertan branches! No care for customer satisfaction or cooperation.

Have made many calls about overbilling over estimating on my electricity bill. Received a $260 bill in November when previous bill was $68 and summer bill was highest at $112. A usage of 1,718 Kwh on the monthly bill was reduced the following month to 1,041, a 677 Kwh decrease. Yet customer service was adamant that the 1,718 in usage was actual usage. The daily usage was entered the same amount (59.242) to the third decimal every day except one day was 61.71 (we have smart meters that record usage every 15 minutes). Customer Service just keeps defending bad data or ignoring the issues, and when you finally spend a half hour proving all the information is wrong, they quit the chat, hang up on you, or just flat out say they won't do anything about it. Even a supposed supervisor hangs up.
The energy provider sent them a notice of correction of the bill on the 19th and Direct energy still overcharged my account on the 29th. Usage is shown as the exact same amount to the third decimal point for days and they claim it is actual usage. Recently usage is shown as 59.242 kwh on the weekday and 35.807 on the weekends each week, and they claim nothing can be done to fix that. Meter readings are recorded at over 60,015 one day 58,647 another day and then over 60,100 again the next day. Customer Service says it looks strange, but says they won't do anything about it. Yet the overinflated usage keeps being record.
In July the usage was set to every Sunday was 30.002, every Monday was set at 28.635 and every Tuesday was 33.748 and same pattern for the rest of the days of the week. Somehow the customer is supposed to be confident the data is correct when prior year October and November usage was 597 and 424 Kwh and this year October and November usage are 1041 and 1148.

One star only because there isn't an option for no star. Today I finally got fed up with the constant harassment calls from this company for "Kenneth R" who apparently owes $176.22 as his "final bill". Somehow my personal cell phone number got into his profile. The supervisor (Margarita) and her "manager" Billy refused to remove my number (from his profile so the company bill collectors don't call me anymore) due to "company policy". Really??? I asked both if this was based upon a Federal, State, County or city laws. They both said, "No, company policy".
So the process, according to them is they must have Kenneth R on the line and he HAS TO AGREE to take MY PHONE NUMBER off his account. I have never even heard about this company and have never done business with any power company by the name of Direct Energy or any others who may have been rolled up in mergers and/or acquisitions. You will love this... I usually work my way up the chain of command until I can find someone who can fix things. Well Billy said he was as far as I could go and he could not resolve the possibly fraudulent issue.
When asked who was the CEO of the company (having been a company CEO in my career I always wanted to know things like this) both Margarita and Billy said they couldn't tell me-again company policy. Really??? I get 2-3 calls a week from this company trying to collect Kenneth's bill. Harassment? If Kenneth (and I'm not saying he did) gave them my phone number on purpose to avoid paying his bill their strategy is to email him ("we have his email address") for approval to take my phone number off his delinquent account. One of the two actually suggested I put my number in the Federal Do Not Call Registry. I have done so 5-10 times.
So this company is right up there with Medicare insurance and car warranty companies who could apparently care less about the DNC Registry. I asked, no, I begged Billy to hang up with me and instruct his collections company to never call me again since the name on the number of Kenny's account was not correct. He couldn't do so. Guess why, yep, you guessed right - "company policy". Soooooooo, based upon the extremely unsatisfactory customer service provided to me (my humble but experienced opinion) I would suggest you move on to evaluate another power company.

Direct Energy is sucking right now because they can't even tell me how much I owe. They can't find my account. I'm not happy with them. I was told there was something with their computers being all down and messed up. This was last week and they told me they couldn't talk to me this week. I haven't heard from them. I tried to call them and I can't get through because I don't have really good service out here. The rest of the time, Direct Energy is really great. But communication would be a great area to improve on.

I’ve been with Direct Energy for a minimum of 10 years and they've been good. I typically go with what is the lowest fixed per kilowatt. I stay away from variables to keep the bill from fluctuating. Direct's website is user-friendly and whenever there's an outage, I get email and text notifications. The couple of times that I had to speak with customer service because I needed assistance, they were very helpful.

I talked to one of Direct Energy's representatives and he was really resourceful. He knew his stuff and he described everything from the top to the bottom. He was very open, nice, and had a lot of patience. I decided to go with them because they have free weekends. I have kids and they are home on the weekends. I activated Direct Energy's website yesterday. At first, I couldn't get it but I read through the little thing and it said I had to log in as the new user and create an account. I did the set-up and it looked easy.

I was on low income then, so Direct Energy helped me get a monthly bill with nothing down. Somebody has been stealing my electricity next door to my house, but I've still been having to pay the bill. All the tech did was put a tag on my thing and it's broken again. They need lockboxes. They need to make sure nobody can take the wire piece thing out so nobody could steal the electricity.

There were a lot of outages at weird times when nothing is going on. No rain and the lights would go out, and first thing in the morning when I'm getting the kids ready for school, which is weird. But I usually get a notification within 30 minutes, so that's a plus.

Direct Energy has a good plan. Their rates are competitive. I have renters and my bill is totaled. It takes two or three days before I can view the bill which gives me each individual resident. I do everything online and if they can get it online to where I can view my bill rather than just the total charge, it would be helpful. Also, I'd like to see my bill about the 1st of the month so I can tell the renters how much their electricity is but sometimes it would be on the 4th.

I was with a company and we started with them with a bill for $70. I have a small apartment and after four months, we started paying 175. It was more than a $100 difference. I called and complained about that, and they didn't do anything. I asked my friend, and he said good things about Direct Energy, so I switched over. Direct Energy has done decently since we've been here. We had that huge freeze and most of Texas got knocked out. Our power held on pretty well, so I was pretty happy about that. Then I can go online when my contract’s up, change who I want, and pick what I want. Customer service has always been good. No major issues.

We've been with another provider for the last 10 years but they're fluctuating a little bit too much for my comfort. I went back to Direct Energy because they had a fixed rate electricity plan that was pretty reasonably priced for a per kilowatt hour. Doing it all online made it pretty easy to set up and taken care of. They were great back in the day and so far, they’ve been fine.

I signed up with Direct Energy online and it was easy. I got the free 12 hours plan. They've been great and I haven't had any issues with them up until recently. So now, I would not recommend them. My electricity contract has ended so, they put me on a variable rate plan. All they had done was put a notice on the second sheet of my bill, which I get electronically through logging into my app, that my contract was expiring. And I didn't see that. So, I never re-signed up. The variable rate plan cost me over double what my electricity normally was. Once I got that bill, I called and tried talking to them, trying to figure out what I could do, and they told me that because they sent that form, they wouldn't help me and that they would sign me up for a new contract starting that day, and then my rates would change. So, I was upset.
I reached out to the VP for Customer Affairs and she ended up having somebody from the President's Office reach out to me. The lady told me that they could do that for my bill but she did the math and there was a better plan for me. She put me on a different plan that has now cost me the same amount of money. So, I'm a little frustrated. I plan on calling back the same lady that I talked to from the President's Office to figure out what's going on.

Direct Energy’s customer service was good. The reps were very professional and the person who attended to me seemed knowledgeable. I was trying to get the cheapest deal and the price per kilowatt of the Live Brighter 12 plan seemed like the lowest one.

Signing up with Direct Energy was easy. The rep was able to walk me through everything over the phone. I was at work at the time and I was able to do everything while I was still working. I haven’t had any issues and it's very affordable and convenient. They’re very helpful whenever I call them. I used Reliant the first time I moved into my first apartment and I had the same plan or something similar with a free weekend or free night. However, my bill with Direct Energy so far has been about $20 to $30 cheaper. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing different or not but I am in a bigger apartment, too. So, I was expecting my bill to be a little bit higher.

The experience with Direct Energy has been good so far. They have a free nights plan and I use that a lot. Your electricity is free past 9 PM until 9 AM. If I had any questions, I called the people and their technicians were helpful. I’m not a huge fan of the website though. It’s inconvenient and not very streamlined. You can use it if you want to figure it out but you shouldn't have to try to figure it out.

I was with Bounce Energy and it switched over to Direct Energy and we stayed with them. We've been with this electric company for a long time. Before this, I was with Reliant but it came back to looking who had a good rate and I've always enjoyed the customer service that Bounce/Direct Energy has had. The only thing I miss is that when it was with Bounce, there was an incentive for paying on time and you could turn those points in to get gift cards. But comparing customer service, they're more attentive. Anytime my plan is going to expire, they'll send me new rates to pick from, whereas Reliant wasn't so open about it. So, you'd end up paying that high market price. But Direct Energy is good about making sure that I'm set up on a renewal.
Our power goes out less. With Reliant, it used to go out every summer at least once or twice because of heatwave. But with Direct Energy, we don't have any issues, aside from the freeze back in February but everybody got cut off. When it thunderstorms, there are times where the power goes out but not as much and it doesn't last very long. The storm has to be bad. I'm not sure how that works because I know it goes off of the electrical grid but we hardly have any issues with power going out. People report that they don't have power and we still do. Even with the freeze, it took us a while to lose our energy.
I went through a name change and the reps were quick. They told me the process and got me switched over. I have gone through two name changes since I've been with them and those have always been easy. They got it right the first time. I have my payments set up on auto pay so, everything is managed online and I never have to call in, which is nice. Anytime anybody ever posts about looking for new electric companies, I always share my experience with Direct Energy.

We were supposed to renew our contract with Direct Energy in August and they called us four months ahead. But aside from feeling that they were harassing us way too early, they are generally good. They let you know what your bill is going to be and how much you’re using for electric.

Recently, I lost my job and I was trying to have my payment plan deferred, but I wasn't able to. However, one of the employees helped me with keeping my electricity still connected until the day I got paid. He gave me a few more days to get that paid off. Overall, good customer service.

Setting up for the service was really quick and I didn't have any issues. The guy that signed me up was very knowledgeable. Then somebody called me before I renewed about some new rate and he was very professional. Direct Energy is a really good provider and they give a good rate. I especially like weekends free because my kids are home. They're well-known a well-known energy company. It's not one of those fly-by-night utility companies. You just want to definitely go with them.

Direct Energy is fine and their customer service is all right. But I wish I could find a lower plan. My bill just started being like $200 and that's too high for me because I'm in a small one-bedroom apartment. I asked about a fixed-rate plan and they said they didn't have that available.

Their customer service was very responsive and readily available. The only issue I have is I feel like my credit card information has been compromised, although it could just be something to do with an update of my phone. Other than that, Direct Energy is pretty secure. I like the way that it shows online or through the mail that a bill was due and it was easy for me to access payments and make a payment over the phone. Also, they really helped me out during this pandemic, especially when I was really affected by the shutdown. I live in a medical center and I'm a healthcare professional. They were really understanding of my situation with my always being cut and working remotely from home.

We had POLO Energy and we had to put money on that thing every other day. I told my husband, "You're spending more money this way than you would if you had a monthly bill." That's why we went with Direct Energy. My husband is doing good with it and he likes it. You don't have to worry about monitoring the light or worry about getting an alert or that the balance is low. My husband can just be comfortable. This way is a whole lot better. We're enjoying the service and it is what they told me it would be.

My experience with Direct Energy has been okay. Their reps have been pretty professional and they're always very helpful when I ask questions. But sometimes I'd get an answer that's not true with them trying to be polite and friendly. They would reassure me things that aren't necessarily true or a scenario that's a one-off that they can't guarantee. But as far as electricity service, it's been fine.

The very first time I signed up, I was a little unsure. The rep did a really good job and she explained the best she could but I just didn't fully understand what I was signing. Then I switched to a different contract -- I had free nights and I switched over to free weekends -- the rep, Sebastian, was super sweet. He explained thoroughly. The only time I was a little annoyed was I called this morning before I talked to Sebastian. His phone just cut out and I couldn't hear him when he was trying to assist me and the call dropped. But it wasn't his fault, it was more the phone just wasn't working.

It seemed Direct Energy had the best offer. But I was disappointed that when I re-signed up, I was not offered the same promotions that a new person signing up could get, like how Direct Energy is offering the Amazon gift cards for signing up. I wasn't allowed to get that since I was already previously with them. They didn't offer any assistance or any other options. Also, I didn't like how I was set up. I signed up on a certain date. And then I got a notification saying I still needed to sign up. It was unaware where it was saying that it had not taken effect, but I'm getting emails saying it has. When I spoke to someone, they said that it has. So, it's not on the same page. And I do not know what is going on.

Direct Energy put me in a 12-month contract, and they said that when the 12 months end, then we'd go with variable instead of fixed. I asked them about the senior citizen offer because my husband and I are past 60. They said they didn't have that to offer. I have asked about discounts and specials. The only thing they can give is if someone stays in the contract for 12 months, then they might see a difference in their kilowatts. When I do talk to the people from Direct Energy, they show empathy and sympathy. I have not ran into anyone being rude and not understanding of what we all are going through. The only reason why I did a contract was because I did appreciate the customer service of the lady who persuaded me to do a contract.

Setting up everything with Direct Energy over the phone was pretty quick and there was no deposit. But I was expecting my bill to be a little lower than what it came out to be. They were also supposed to give me $50 for the referral of my neighbor and I didn’t even get that.

Whenever I renewed my contract, the people that assisted me have been a great help in giving me the best rate or explaining all the plans and which one would be best for me. Being with Direct Energy has been great. They worked with me when I needed help during COVID. They continue to work with me if I'm late on a bill. They let me know pretty much everything. My other provider was Green Mountain and they would shut my lights off without even telling me I had a disconnection notice. Also, I wouldn't receive a bill from them for months. I would always have to call them and figure out how much I owed. Direct Energy is a lot better. They just send me an email.

The service with Direct Energy has been pretty good. They helped me out pretty nice. The last time I checked my bill, it was 76. It might be at 87 right now. It’s a lot better because with the other company I had, it was 300 something a month. I'm pretty happy overall.

I was using CenterPoint, and their pricing was way high. I was paying almost 19 cents per kilowatt hour. I like Direct Energy's pricing. The bills stay pretty constant. They honor their contract, and I'm very comfortable with them. We get a call for renewing the contract and I tell them what I want. It's about a two-minute call. Working with Direct Energy cut my bill in half. I have a lot more money to spend. I've got good service and I'll continue using them.

I couldn’t get good information on other companies (it was hard to get through) like I did with Direct Energy. I spoke to someone who explained everything really good. He was very friendly and informative, and I felt comfortable with the fixed plan. It seemed reasonable and affordable. I’m not happy with the rates going up. It was at a reasonable pace from September to December, and it was okay with me before, but now, I see it just keeps rising. I talked to Direct Energy and there was nothing they could do. They told me I could get a flat pay rate of 147 every month, but if my bill is gonna be $100 or $98, I'm still gonna pay the 147. I wanna hold on with it, but it still keeps rising and we don’t have plenty of people living here. It was about 10 of us living here, and six less. It’s just four of us and everybody's working. Nobody is home, so I can’t imagine why it got so high.

The signup process is straightforward. But then it's not very clear to the consumer how the electricity is distributed and what is the actual cost for them. For them to have, “Okay, this is the basic rate, and the charges will be so-and-so if you consume 500 kilowatts, 1000 kilowatts, or 2000 kilowatts,” that does not match with the actual base rate and the delivery charges, so it’s very confusing. Most of the time, they charge more to deliver the electricity than what is consumed by the consumer. Then the customer service is just reading what's on the contract. It doesn't help me understand, as a consumer, what my consumption is. Nonetheless, I would still recommend Direct Energy.

I liked the free nights that Direct Energy offered, so I went with them. I signed over the phone and my experience with their reps was good. I also talked to several representatives at different points of time from Direct Energy and that went pretty well, too. But when the free nights didn't make sense to me anymore, they told me about the different rates they had and I ended up going with that one just because of how their rep put it. Other than that, they have not let me down yet in terms of their service. I also have their thing on my Apple phone and it's pretty easy to use.

I like Direct Energy. From the very beginning, they were the original power company here in the neighborhood and I have not had any issues with them. So, I stayed with them. At the beginning this company seemed ok. Wasn’t that great of a deal on the cost though. Signed up for two years and they stuck me with 3. After making all payments on time at the second to the last payment due they sent me an urgent email to pay my bill on the day it was due. I did so and they took out two payments. That’s ridiculous. I talked to Judy in the “President’s office” and she rudely replied “ I don’t know why you would make two payments”. So at the end of the contract their customer service to a great paying customer declined to poor and couldn’t care less. Would not use them again. Took them over two weeks to get the money back into my account.

The experience with Direct Energy has been good but it’s about to be two months since I’ve had them and I’ve never paid my electricity bill. I keep calling and the reps keep telling me that I’m going to get it tomorrow or next week but I still haven’t gotten anything from them. I have the app too and every time I go and check, it says that I don’t owe anything. There’s no bill.

I had a personal representative come when I signed up and everything was smooth. But they told me that my bill was gonna be in the 90 and right now, it's 135. The rate keeps on fluctuating.

I had a 1-year contract which provided me with a decent fixed rate. After the contract expired, I was billed on a "variable" rate, however, that rate was not actually variable based on availability (as it is supposed to be), but based on a steady price increase of about .05 cents per kwh every month. While the company did send me a notice that my contract was about to expire, they did not tell me that they would consistently increase my fees unless I would extend, to where I am paying now double the amount that I would be paying to my utility provider directly or most other energy suppliers, adding up to an extra $250 more over the last 12 months. Requests for a refund of the overcharge were responded to by stating that their business practice was not in violation of regulatory agency's guidelines, however, I can't stand businesses taking advantage of their customers and I will not do business with them again.

We certainly never want our customers to be surprised at the rate they are paying, nor do we want to transition a fixed-rate account to a variable rate unexpectedly. For these reasons, and as required by law, we send out end-of-term notices to any account that has a fixed-rate contract expiring within the next 30-60 days (the requirements on when the letters must be sent vary by state). The end of terms notice would have included the expiration date of the current contract, instructions on how to renew into another fixed-rate contract (either by phone, chat, or via your online account), and the important disclosure that states if we do not hear from you by the expiration date, the account will automatically move to the month to month, variable rate pricing. Our goal is always to operate as transparently as possible and in the best interests of our customers.

I had service with Direct Energy in the past as well, so I just went back to them when I wanted to restart the service. I liked the simple way they explained how the billing works. The pricing structure was very easy to understand compared to other energy companies. So even if some of the others have lower pricing, they made it so confusing to understand what the final bill will look like compared to Direct Energy, that I decided to just stick with them even if it's a little more. I at least know what I will be paying for. I have a business line with them as well. And with the business connection person I have reached out to and the person who helped me, she's excellent. I'm happy. Get a connection from Direct Energy. Simple and straightforward.

I've been working with Direct Energy people and looking at the energy usage, bills and percentages. I've been very happy with them. We had an agent assigned to the church account. And I would talk to her depending on how often we renewed. I was in the energy business as far as natural gas, and I knew where natural gas prices were going, figured out that electricity follows the natural gas prices in Texas because that is what produces most of the electricity. And I was always happy with the information I got and the price we got from them. I researched them for residential with other providers here in Houston, and their rates were competitive. Doing business with them was easy. I switched. And I've been with them ever since. I recommend them all the time. I've recommended them to both residential and commercial folks because they've been great for me.

Direct Energy should make sure that we've got a grid that's going to hold up 'cause what we went through in February was not good.

The billing is really confusing when the statements are divided, so I have to hunt each statement down by the month. I would get multiple bills right away. They usually combine the bills and I have to separate them. I'm doing extra work to figure out my monthly statement. So I don't like how they structure the payment thing for that. I was late one day for the payment and they said I had everything due within two days of the following month. How they did it was really shady. So I was not too happy about that. The billing has been really wacky. I haven't been happy with it.

I moved houses and what made me stick to Direct Energy was that they moved the service quickly. There were no ifs, ands or buts. I was grateful for that. There was an issue because they have my name wrong and still haven't fixed it. But other than that, they do have really good customer service people. I just renewed a contract with them.

With the Evergreen plan, energy usage at night was free, and it met my expectation. It might be helpful if Direct Energy can make it easier to find out the status of outages, if there are any, whether it's by website or text alert.

Direct Energy had the best deal per kilowatt-hour. The sign-up process was flawless and seamless. I did a month-to-month thing. My first bill with them was cheaper by $2.32 per kilowatt-hour and it was pretty significant.

One of the greatest things that they have is they have different plans and different things for different people. Their specials are nice. My program is the free weekends. But the website is a little glitchy. Logging in could be an issue and sometimes the page kind of freezes. It does what it's supposed to, though. Overall, everything is going on fine.

We tried Direct Energy and never left. At first, we had the free weekends deal and that was what sold me to the company. The times that I called, they were really helpful. I also used the Direct Energy website a couple of times. I usually call or go to the app, which is really convenient. I use it to monitor everything and compare things month to month and what I spent at this time last year.

I called and the rep wasn't very helpful. The biggest deal is when they don't speak English and they're extremely hard to understand. The language barrier needs to be worked on. Also, I was told there's only one plan available.

We had them in our apartment for about 15 years and it was an excellent experience. We were very pleased. I lost my husband a month ago and since I moved from our apartment, I also use Direct Energy now. Their customer service is great. They were right on point. I was going to move into one apartment, but I couldn't stand that smell. So I had to call them and transfer it from that apartment to across the way there. They were so understanding and really helpful.

They offered free nights and weekends. I was really interested in two different plans and they showed me the better price. There were small issues here and there, but the company was able to help me rectify or explain the issues and I never had an issue with them. So far, so good. I'm very content with my experience.

I contacted somebody over the phone and he did a really good job. He was really nice. It was really fast. It was my first apartment and first time getting a light bill in my name, and Direct Energy walked me through everything. It was pretty good. They are the most affordable out of the ones that I've seen. There was a discount if I signed up with autopay. They also added a discount for protection services. If there was a power outage or shortage in electricity, they offered that as well. My bill has been pretty affordable, even with the Texas heat and having to have the air on. It's very good. They emailed me about anything going on with my account. They have a good mobile site that's easy to use.

My mom had Direct Energy and she was comfortable with it. When I moved into my first apartment back in 2012, I just went ahead with them and I haven’t had any problems. I'm loving it. The representatives were very helpful with providing different plans that were beneficial for me. At one point in time, I had the free weekend plan as I have a son who is at home on the weekends. Now, I'm on the 12-month year plan.

The customer service of Direct Energy was good. However, they should update their app. When I transferred, 'cause I just moved to a new home from my apartment, the app took forever to upload the new surveys and it would freeze and not show the right information for a while.

The setup was done online and it was effortless. The website was manageable. Also, they didn't have any hidden charges. Paying bills from the app is not as easy as it is online, though. It kept telling me that autopay is not set up.

Direct made moving pretty easy. I don't think it even cost anything. Also, they're better than the last one I had, which was Gexa.

The overall functionality and reliability of the service are pretty good. We've had outages every now and again, but not extended. I renewed with them online and the website was easy enough to use.

At first, it was pre-paid and Direct Energy had a good rate. And then, I moved to a contract thing. But here lately, my rate has went up, so I have been shopping around, only because it has went up more than it should have. The reps said that as far as my rate, that's the best they could do and that they appreciate me being there a long time. Direct Energy should take into consideration the longer that the customer is there. When you're dedicated to a company, they should show some kind of appreciation to you. I understand we're paying for services. It's like being at a job. They should give you an evaluation, and if you never miss a payment, give you some kind of incentive to stay. Because there are a lot of electric companies that call you, wants you to move to them, and have cheaper rates.
Also, I get on my app, but sometimes it's hard to even get on it. There have been times when I couldn't even pay my bill on the app. And then when I call in, I give them my phone number and it wouldn't pull up my account either. Sometimes when I call, I can't understand them. I try to work with that. But other than that, it has been fine. They say that they do what they can. So, I just go along with it.
