Brent, Belvidere Center, VT: ShopSolar had good prices and they had a customer service line that was manned by people. We bought two BigBattery from them in the past. My first BigBattery works perfectly. We are absolutely ecstatic about it, but we had issues getting it. It took a little while to get, but when it got here, it was wonderful. With the second one, we didn't have issues getting it, but they upgraded it. Unfortunately, no one seems to have the new upgraded manual. So, we have been having a little bit of a struggle with that. ShopSolar has every manual that they can find online, and they're willing to give us as much help as they can. But unfortunately, BigBattery doesn't have their information online.

For Christmas, we ordered another BigBattery. It came and then we put it in two weeks ago. It works. But the digital read-out on the front of it is different than the original one. They changed a couple of things on the new one and there is no manual to tell you what it's for. It acts funny. Sometimes it'll act like it's low charge, but the volts will be right. So I called out in California and talked to the guy last Tuesday and he said, “No. Don't worry about it. Just worry about the volts. It's gonna be within a volt of your other battery ‘cause you hook them together, hook them in parallel. And don't worry.” If you read their fine print on their warranty, they'll pay for shipping back up to 30 days. After that, they won't. So, I gotta be on it because it still is acting a little weird on that output. There's still no explanation on a couple of other things that it says on the front of it. That's my concern right now.
