We purchased a complete off-grid solar kit. Rich Solar 2,400w inverter with 5 200w panels. All was great. We hooked up in July. This was to run the barn, so not very heavy load. It ran lights and a large fan all the rest of the summer. Then it got cold and down it went. Something went wrong with the inverter during the cold. We could charge it up with the generator (the charger that came with it did not work for this system) but it always went back down again.

I recently purchased a home in Warsaw, Virginia. As an electrician, I’ve never seen a $464 electric bill. So, we weren’t going with that for long. I watched some YouTube videos and the EG4 was highly recommended so I ordered that.

I checked a link about ShopSolar from the How To with Doc YouTube, called to inquire and a really nice guy named Matt helped me out. I got a solar generator bundle with panels for residential and RV use. Those things are too expensive, but they put together that bundle and I compared it to other things.

They were very helpful and everything was good. I did a little bit of research on the equipment ShopSolar was selling, which I picked out, and so far, I've been happy with it. I purchased a 12,000-watt inverter and a battery and I’m very impressed with it.

I was into solar for a long time, probably since the ‘80s. I moved from New Jersey to Tennessee, and I’m on a 2,000-foot mountain in the woods. We got quite a few blackouts up here with the wind. Storms are really bad, so the power goes out a lot. When the power isn’t out, you don’t think about it, but I’ve been thinking. I have solar panels already and a lot of backup stuff, but it’s all small. I needed something a lot bigger up here where I am now. I’m gonna use the solar panels just for backup. Me and my girl wanted to do solar for backup instead of running a generator. I wanted off-grid, so I researched the crap out of it. There was ShopSolar and the Jackery. I like ShopSolar’s system. It's more for a house, and the expansion is nice. Also, the battery is really impressive. I'm a DIY guy. I followed this YouTuber that I nicknamed Sheldon, and he demos equipment. I was impressed with his knowledge, and ShopSolar’s guys answered me pretty well, so I went with them.

I've had very good experience with ShopSolar. It would be great if they could have a better break down of the different products ‘cause a lot of it is in kit form and I found it a bit difficult to navigate around. But their technology seems to be a step ahead of everybody else. I got a plug-and-play 3,600 Delta Pro with the panels, I wish it had better instructions, like an owner's manual, more in-depth, but I worked my way through it, so it’s fine. I've used the unit to power my freezer 24/7 for five days to get used to the system, take care of different appliances in case the power goes down, and it's worked really well.

We have an off-grid cabin. I told ShopSolar everything that we had in the cabin, and they ran a chart on it. They said, “This is the one you need,” and we ordered it. I'm not a savvy person, but it was easy for me to navigate their website. I paid a little bit more than what I really wanted though. I bought a Delta 3, and then I ordered the extra battery with it later on. I put it all together myself. I did not understand some of the semantics for hooking stuff up. But I called, and they called me right back.

ShopSolar provides good service. I have called in the past to ask advice about some things, and everybody seems very knowledgeable. I went on the website, found the product I wanted, and got it. My Anker Solix F3800, a power bank with solar panels, works fine. If I bought it earlier, I could have gotten a better deal. But it was a good enough deal, and the quality seems great.

I recently purchased a solar generator from Shop Solar after finding them online. I'm quite pleased with the generator, though I haven't used it to its full potential yet. It performs as I expected. Shopsolar carries a big variety of products on their website and they did a free shipping special on everything. That was nice. I had one issue with my order, but it's fixed. I resolved it myself and it was no big deal. I contacted the manufacturer.

They were great. One solar panel arrived shattered and the new one's on its way right now. However, it took longer to get the new panel for the broken one but it was coming straight from the manufacturer.

I compared their site with several other sites, and they had kits that already had everything in it that you needed. So, that helped. I got two EcoFlow Pro portable units and 10 200-watt solar panels, a dual voltage hub, some line, and several of small items. I've tried the products out. They're working fine. I've added to the system since I originally bought it. Overall, I had a good experience.

A couple of years ago I got a BLUETTI AC200P from ShopSolar and was pleased with that. I liked the service I got from ShopSolar because they were always there after the sale. In the last couple of months, I've added another solar generator and a 400 watts solar panel. It's a portable one. The first time around, I got a Hex kit on the BLUETTI. I added the Anker solar generator, and added the expansion battery to the generator, and added the 400 watts solar panel. So, I got four things from ShopSolar.

I liked the packaging they had the first time that I bought from them and I liked the quality of the unit. I went back a second time and I bought an extra battery pack a couple of months ago. I’m lowering my bill by $20 to $30 a month, even with running the air.

ShopSolar does good on the sales end of it. They did a nice service and put together a nice package but follow-up has been a little on the weak side. The installation was difficult and I took some time. Though doable, I've had a lot of trouble getting the system up and running. I'm not sure they're capable of troubleshooting the system. They’ve got too many products and don't seem to know all of those products so I ultimately had to get to the manufacturer. But they had figured out what's wrong and hopefully, I'll be able to get this thing up and running here soon.

I bought a 2,000 watt system from ShopSolar for $2,300. I built a cabin off the grid and the system is made more for off-the-grid cabins that aren't gonna have a lot of need. I went with propane everywhere I could and added some extra solar panels to give me a little more because I wanna upgrade with the second battery eventually. With the system, I can watch TV all day, use the refrigerator and run some power tools. As long as the sun's out, the battery will stay on the charge position all day. When I run into trouble, it's at night or if it's cloudy for a couple of days. I went down one day and had no power. But it was two days and I used it. If I deal with a second battery, it'll give me more storage. I have to be careful at night but I have a generator to supplement. If I get down, I wanna watch a ball game at night. I could crank the generator on for half an hour to supplement so I have power in the morning.

You call ShopSolar and say you got a problem, and there's somebody there to help you through. The technical support is a big plus. I've dealt with them three times so far and every time, the people that are on the other side of the phone are very knowledgeable in what they do. One of the first things I needed was parts for my EcoFlow solar generators and ShopSolar was the one who had them in stock and have the stock because EcoFlow deals with them a lot. When stuff comes off the assembly line, ShopSolar is one of the first companies to get the stuff. I don't wanna be sitting here with a piece of machinery that I can't get parts for and with ShopSolar, I'm able to do that. When I called them, it rang two times and I had somebody. It's not AI and they're American.

Our $ 25,000 purchase is now a $ 25,000 professionally installed boat anchor due to dead batteries. Communication from ShopSolar following our purchase was haphazard. Even though we informed them the batteries were to be in storage for several months, we weren't informed they required periodic charging. Now they expect us to crate up two 300 lb batteries (hazardous materials...) & ship them across the county for repair? Unknown costs involved.

ShopSolar was a little higher than if I went straight to EcoFlow. But when I went back to them and told them they were $800 higher, they lowered the price. The delivery was great. The panels came from RICH SOLAR, which is an excellent company. The EcoFlow is extremely good. The system works well. I'm not running the bill up. I had to do an update on the software to get it to do what it needed to do and keep charging right. But that was easy once I hooked it to the Wi-Fi. They had full instructions.

Very good service. They were on time and everything went smoothly from beginning to completion of installation. We would recommend them to friends and family. We were very pleased. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I'm not happy with ShopSolar. We've ordered a lot of stuff from them and have spent 20 grand. This last time, we got a battery. Then another battery came. I called the company and tried to explain to them that we only had one battery. They couldn't figure out how we wound up with two batteries. I was trying to explain to them that it's 175 miles round trip for that battery. I said, “I don't want the guy coming out here because it's a long trip out here. We live up in the mountains in Colorado.” I was trying to handle it professionally but they made a mess out of it.

They have good customer service and the serviceman that came to do the work were friendly and the work was real nice. The serviceman was friendly and knew his job well. We were glad to see him again...

Maddie S with ShopSolar was instrumental in pushing a resolution through as quickly as possible. The process was started on 2/6/24 and resolved with a replacement battery on 4/1/24. It took some energy on my part, and a bit of time, but in the end my system is up and running. NOTE: Save all shipping materials to re-package components for warranty inspection.

ShopSolar had good prices and they had a customer service line that was manned by people. We bought two BigBattery from them in the past. My first BigBattery works perfectly. We are absolutely ecstatic about it, but we had issues getting it. It took a little while to get, but when it got here, it was wonderful. With the second one, we didn't have issues getting it, but they upgraded it. Unfortunately, no one seems to have the new upgraded manual. So, we have been having a little bit of a struggle with that. ShopSolar has every manual that they can find online, and they're willing to give us as much help as they can. But unfortunately, BigBattery doesn't have their information online.

It's been a good experience with ShopSolar. I got what they call a solar generator. It's solar panels, a battery, and an inverter converter wiring -- a complete kit, and their rep gave me a discount, which was very nice. The product works well and I can use it in various locations if I wish. That's what I planned on doing with it.

I bought the products and ShopSolar's tech support is excellent. They were willing to answer any of my questions any time, and they didn't just have any stupid answers. I talked to four different reps, and they knew what they're talking about and helped me know how to understand my unit. The system I have is portable, and they were very good about helping me understand how to hook it up.

I really like the package that ShopSolar sent me. The products, the battery, the solar, and the inverter were all matched. It went together well. I was really happy with it. It was super easy to set up, but it takes some knowledge. I don't know that an average person can or can't do it. It did not come with a whole lot of instructions. There was some with the final terminations. It was good that way.

I bought a few things from ShopSolar and they're working fine. They had what I wanted at a reasonable price.

I like the Delta Pro Kit that Shop Solar has. They have quite a few informative videos on it and they seem to have the best prices I could find too. They have instructions and available tech services if I need them. But the specific units I ordered, I got them because I could just plug the solar panel chargers into the back and plug my 110 into the front and away I go.

I like ShopSolarKits' products. I bought two small ones at first then I decided to buy their 2,000 kilowatt product. The two were doing good, but they don't last as long as the big one does. I had one that broke and they replaced it right away. I sent the other one back to them and there was no problem exchanging it. I call up and ask them questions because there's a way to hook up one or two together on the small ones, but I didn't know how to do it. They told me how to and sent me an email showing me how to do it. They're very helpful when you call. They've answered every question I've had. They told me how to do what I gotta do. I did it and it works. All you do is plug it into the wall and it would charge when the sun don't charge. They give you cables to go from that getting into the generator so it charges the generator from outside into the house. They're so small. I just move them myself and unplug/plug them.

ShopSolar's cost seemed in line with what I could find in other places. The kit is two panels that are portable. It has the battery, and there are a couple cables hooked to the panels you put in your yard. They seem well put together. There should be some features added or changed to make them a bit easier to use. If the sun went across the sky, you need to rotate your solar panels so it they would get the maximum sun on them. So, you have to move them individually. But they're cabled together so it makes it awkward. If the cables were longer, it would have made it better. So, you have more room to move one panel and move the other one.

The installation of our kit from Shop Solar was easy. I did it all myself. I got it for a small shop that I have up in the mountains and I expect it to run my hand tools and an 80-gallon compressor, and a small welder, and I expect it to last for years.

I got a kit from ShopSolar. They were very comprehensive. They have payment setups too. They were reasonably priced for the time frame. The website was easy to understand. They had information there. You could click "more information", and it would pull down information. When you go to Amazon, they say, “Most people bought this and this together.” ShopSolar has something similar to that where it’s, “If you get this, we recommend this also.” The website is also very user-friendly, which you don't find a whole lot nowadays, unless it's a bigger site like Walmart or Amazon. It was nice to know that we could go to something that was a little more niche like solar panels and find a website that was easy to navigate. If we had needed help, there was the ability to get help as well.

I bought some larger panels in a different order almost a year ago now. That was a big order. They were crated as opposed to being shipped in boxes. The crating was bad. I was concerned that the panels were broken. But fortunately, none of them were. The equipment that you buy comes sometimes from different places and it shows up in multiple shipments. It was not that big of a deal but I never got any tracking numbers. It's very common nowadays, when you buy something, when the vendor is able to fulfill the order and they ship, you get an email that says the order is on its way. I never got any of that. I've placed three orders now with ShopSolar. I have yet to get an email. I had to guess on when the stuff was gonna show up. The postal service comes to my house, but nobody else does. I have to coordinate picking up goods and packages that can't come through the regular mail. It was very awkward for me to not to be able to tell these people when stuff was showing up. They just drop it on the driveway.

I was looking for something off-grid with a complete system, with the battery and the panels. I talked to somebody by text and they asked me how big my house was and how much power I required. They gave me the small off-grid systems and I bought one of those, and it was great. I didn't know they have big batteries like that that can give so much power. I will always work with ShopSolar.

ShopSolar appeared to have a lot of choices. A lot of information. I liked their site. I got an EcoFlow kit. It came with a battery backup and solar panels. So, I did it mostly for batteries that I wanted to be able to be self-sufficient. The stuff was packaged well. It came quickly. Came out, started working. The questions that I contacted about, they got back to me. So, I've been very happy with them. I've had the kit for a year and it works good. I'm able to use the solar every day, and use my batteries every day.

I bought some batteries off of ShopSolar. The batteries have been good so far. They don't charge on cloudy days, though. I gotta get some more panels. Soon as I get a little bit of money and I’m gonna get six more panels so I can charge both batteries at the same time.

ShopSolar has been super helpful when I emailed, texted, or called. They've done their role. The original kit that I purchased was for a battery backup. I use the solar panels from that with a charge controller, an inverter, and a battery set. But it's not working as planned. I haven't exactly used it as I purchased it. I added to it and made my own system. All in all, solar is really expensive for what it powers. It costs too much to have a big enough system to do what I need it to do, which is to heat a chicken coop and a greenhouse.

Navigating their webpage was easy. It answered all my questions. So far, my experience with them has been good. All in all, I'm happy with them and the product.

ShopSolar Kits offers a variety of solar generators. They have a complete array of products from batteries to solar panels. I wound up buying a switch from them too for use in switching between electric power and solar power. The installation was straightforward. I had a technical question and they answered it. We had a blackout the other day, and my solar generator was able to provide power to my house. It's been very helpful. I have an electric car so I charge my car every day with my solar rig.

I wanted something that I could run the shed on and not have to worry about grid power. The prices I saw with ShopSolar were good. The system works great. My only issue is I still feel something's not quite right with the battery. It's a 48-volt battery. It has the read out on it which at full charge, it should be 29.2. On a nice, clear day, it'll get to 29.2. But any draw and it immediately drops below 27. I mailed support and sent them information about it. They are saying that's a bubble charge. As soon as something starts drawing, that is expected. But I've never heard or seen of that anywhere.

The nice thing was I could pick what I needed and ShopSolar sent me everything all in one package. It's a 2,400-watt inverter, 800 watts of solar, and I have it out on my garage. I'm just using it to power stuff up there. I have a small air compressor, LED lights, chargers, soldering irons. During the winter, we don't get as much sunlight. So, I would watch my battery slowly keep going down. Thankfully, I have it set up correctly so that it would turn off before the battery would tell it to turn off. And it would wait until it gets sunlight again and build back up. So, it's not terrible. But if I had done more research, I would have got a bigger capacity and figured out a way to insulate around that battery. Other than that, I've already recommended ShopSolar to a couple of co-workers here.

ShopSolar had more of the batteries and they dealt more with SOLARC, which was what I was specifically looking for. They asked what I wanted and they listened and understood and I got everything in a timely manner. I'm very mechanically inclined and the installation was very straightforward and easy. Plus customer service will walk you through it if you have any questions. We've been running the system for a year and a half and I love it. It's 18 panels and two big batteries. The total is 30 kilowatt hours. We're 100% off the grid and my monthly bill is zero. It was an excellent experience and I'd recommend them.

My experience with ShopSolarKits was good. Their price is fair. They delivered what they said they would when they would and it was at a market price.

I liked their ratings and the fact that they sold the EcoFlow. They seemed to specialize in that one amongst the other ones and people complimented their shipping and everything else. I went with them and I like the fact that they do what they say. The shipping was timely and the limited updates that I needed were timely. That makes me comfortable recommending to other people who are thinking about getting solar generators. The only hiccup, which I won't even say is a hiccup, is I know they're busy with customer service, so it took a little bit to ask and answer a question. Outside of that, my experience was excellent. I would buy from them again.

Shop Solar is good. I live on a little island and there's no power where my house is, and I've done six systems so far. It was all done online but I had some questions and I called and talked to tech support. I got my questions answered right away. My experience with going solar has been perfect and I've had no issues whatsoever.

The stuff I bought from ShopSolar was very good quality and they've been flawless. It's been great with those guys. They've been responsive. I've had questions and they've answered them. The kit is American-made so they're expensive but I have a lot more confidence in in it. We haven't had any blackouts nor power outages yet, which is what I bought it for. It was easy to set up and the company that does, an Idaho company that builds, are good men. ShopSolar's website is good though I had trouble finding something that should be easy to find. But they're upgrading it a lot and I'm not that great of an internet surfer.

I got a solar kit from Shop Solar from the internet and it was a little rough getting around because you had to go from site to site to site. It was hard to get straight-out answers. I installed the solar system myself. It was a large one so I had my son put it on the roof shooting north. We read about the angles and it was easy enough. It didn't run the whole house. It was a portable one so that it would keep the refrigerator and the oxygen going for my father. The instructions showed where to hook up and how it charged. I found on the internet how much power it would take to run what I needed to run and studied about it for about two months. It was a satisfactory experience with Shop Solar. The cost was a bit high but it will go down over the years. It'll not pay for itself but it is there in case of emergency. I'm not using it to run anything right now because we don't have a power outage. But I won't have to worry about my mother who's 93.

I like all the products I got from Shop Solar except for some batteries I ordered. They never worked so I returned them to give it a fix. I finally just gave them away. So I flushed about four grand down the toilet. But that was not the rep’s fault. I'm at a standpoint with building my solar system. But the staff member has been very helpful and nice. Shop Solar delivered in a timely manner.

I had a good experience enrolling with ShopSolar. The reps were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I got a hybrid system. It can charge either off solar or off of power line. It’s DIY. It's easy to install. They provided good instructions.

I had a great experience with the sales reps. Everything worked out just fine. I was pleased in every way. If I needed more of something, I would start with ShopSolar because everything was very satisfactory. They were cheaper than anywhere else I could get what I wanted.

I bought solar racks and panels from them but it was a puzzle to put together. They didn't give clear instructions for that. The initial delivery, they sent everything except for the hardware to put it together. So, it took another week and a half or two to get the hardware from them. But besides that, I'm happy with everything.

I bought a Jakiper 48V server rack battery from ShopSolar and everything went well. I liked the price. The battery is more for backup if the power goes out. ShopSolar is fine.

Originally, they sent the wrong battery and it was during the pandemic and I couldn't get an installer. So, it was about a year later and I found out it was wrong. The good thing was there was no problem with the return and the correct batteries were sent.

With the original kit that I bought, ShopSolar walked me through and answered my questions. I got it up and had it up and running for over a year. I recently got some panels from someone else and ran into some problems. ShopSolar emailed me back and forth fairly quickly to help me get the right parts that I needed to make sure that my system, even though I didn't buy those panels from them, up and running. I was a newbie at it and they helped me get everything done. I will continue to use them as I upgrade my system.

My experience with ShopSolar was good. I got a portable solar generator. They are solar panels, but it's temporary. It's more like camping-type use. The quality is good.

I was building a shed in my backyard for me to work out of. ShopSolarKits worked out great. They sent me how-to instructions and they had videos to watch. I have experience with it so it was easy to figure out their system. The AC unit is the biggest system it runs. Its peak hours are when the sun's up. It'll run super cold during those hours. When the sun goes down, it'll kick down a little higher like 75 or 77.

I liked the products that ShopSolar was selling and everything was very easy when I enrolled with them. The rep was willing to help.

I bought seven BigBattery 48V 15 kilowatts Powerball from ShopSolar. The stuff they have is high-end. I've been super impressed with them. The process was straightforward. I spoke to someone over the phone and they helped me out. I was looking at a different kind of charge controller and they said, "This is the charge controller you need for the numbers that you're trying to run."

I have the EcoFlow Delta 1800 and I'm using it to have available backup power. I've used the solar panels to make sure that the battery backup is fully charged and it's worked out fine.

We got on the internet and we felt that ShopSolar was probably the most powerful and the best that they had at the time. Ordering the kit went well. It came in two different shipments. The panels came from one, and then the generator came through another shipper. I had to figure out how to use it, but it worked fine. I'd recommend ShopSolar. It's worked for me. All of the electric tools that I was intending to use with it work fine. The only thing is it seems to lose its charge fairly quickly when it's sitting and you're not using it, and that's something that we did not find when we did the research.

The process with ShopSolar was fine other than they wanted me to sign the FedEx paperwork. When FedEx brought it, nobody was home so they shipped it back to ShopSolar. I had a call and somebody at ShopSolar looked into it, got it turned around and reshipped back. On the first day, the panels were putting out 300-something watts but it seems like they lost about 100 watts through time. I don't know if it's the sun or they got a little dirt on them. Also, they could be a little more descriptive of hooking the panels in series or parallel. I figured if we hooked them in series, I was doubling 12-volt panels. I was only putting in 24.

The enrollment process with Shop Solar Kits was very easy and customer service was good. We purchased our kit and it came in a timely fashion. There were plenty of instructions on how to set it up. There were a lot of detailed videos that came along with the set-ups. Our item is a light kit and 600 watts. We're just using it in our little shed out back and it's great. Overall, we had a pretty straightforward experience.

ShopSolar was great all the way through it. I'm well-satisfied with the product I bought and their service. I did everything online. I got a solar battery pack which happened to be a Bluetti. It seemed to be cheaper to start with. They sold it as a kit. It had two solar panels on it. I was able to hook it up together. I can hook up as many as six 100 watts. So, I ordered two extra for it.

Enrolling with ShopSolarKits was positive all the way. I set up an account with an email address and a password, then I was part of their solar advisory group. I can go there to speak with other people that are in the group if I'm having problems. I don't always get immediate support, but ShopSolarKits has a chat function wherein if there's a representative available, the support is immediate. They also offer email and telephone support. They've been very helpful and supportive, and they've done everything they said they were gonna do. I bought a second backup battery for my system, then the following week, they put it on sale. They were very happy to give me the sale price even though I purchased it a week prior.

They delivered what I purchased and they have good follow-up. Everything worked and has performed as advertised. They had very good videos online that I utilized. My big issue right now is finding a small enough load to consistently load and unload with the sun load and keeping the battery in a conditioned space at the same time. The system is very expensive but in comparison to competitors, theirs is really well-priced. Working with them was a good experience. If I need anything in addition to what I already have, I would start with them.

They had to do some price matching because I could get some of the same stuff elsewhere cheaper. I had to do some dinkydonking to get that. But the installation was a piece of cake.

I liked them over a lot of other solar people, just because most solar companies try to get you on monthly payments and upsell you. But the ShopSolar people just sold me the stuff. Their website is straightforward. Customer service was also very responsive. Everything was shipped out. Everything was done fine. And the DIY kit was easy. I use it every day, and it works great. I'm super happy with my purchase.

ShopSolarKits rocks. Communication is a big factor for me and they answered the phone. They answered all my questions as I went forward. I'm very happy. I called back two other times, and someone answered the phone again. I was blown away by was how fast everything went. They told me two weeks, but within a week, things started showing up at my house and I'm out in the middle of nowhere in Nevada.

I had a good experience with ShopSolar Kits. They had what I needed at a good price. I had a back order on the power supply station, but there were updates about it. I don't have any other needs at the moment, but they certainly would be the first place I'd deal with.

I purchased four panels from ShopSolar. The customer service reps filled my order and got it to me in a timely fashion. I got a fairly portable unit. It's been tested and I'm very pleased with it. ShopSolar sent me an email and thanked me for my business.

I wanted one of the kits, but it was a little overkill. So, I called them to see if there was any way I could downsize a particular item in the kit. They had another kit that I didn't see on their website that they referred me to that was exactly what I needed. The only thing that is tough is getting good instructions. They have videos to teach you about solar, but they don't really have videos on teaching you what you should do.

I found ShopSolar on Wayfair, but they did not offer a second or third battery. So I had to shop around for a second battery. Then with that, I bought an additional solar panel. I tried filling out the warranty and getting a discount because their thing said if I scanned the QV code, I would get a discount on my second battery. But I never got that discount. I got the extended warranty, which is great because I hear these systems have problems. They are costly, too and now, you can no longer get them on Wayfair. So if you're going to sell the main power supply to other businesses, those businesses should carry other supplies. Other than that, I turned on my system last week and it turned on fine. It's going to power my whole house. I have been recommending ShopSolar as well.

The reps were very respectful and good. They were able to address my concern pretty quickly. It was pretty easy to put in the order, but it took a while to get the items delivered. When I ordered a battery and inverter, it took two weeks to get the battery and about two months to get the inverter. But then when I shopped for other items that were in stock, shipping was pretty quick. I got the items within a few days. We started to get frequent outages in the last three years, and the battery has been really helpful in helping us to weather that. But ShopSolarKits just increased the price of some of their cables by about 40%. Previously, it was very cheap so I bought a few. It was $15. But when I went back to buy it, it was $40. I understand that prices have increased but the amount of increase was too much.

I live out in the country and we have been impacted by a lot of snow and power outages this last winter. I'm in central California, so we also got a wildfire risk. I wanted to have something besides having a portable gas generator available. I enrolling with ShopSolar, and the key thing is very good. The kit was missing one little cable, but they shipped that out to me right away. One of the solar panels had a hole in it from the shipper, and they rectified that right away. I had no problem setting it up once I got on YouTube and looked up how to hook up the solar panels correctly and safely.

I purchased a complete Off-Grid Solar Kit from ShopSolarKits around 10/2023, as advertised and recommended by their staff. The system was intended for Off-Grid use to power an entire newly constructed house. I am not a solar tech but, after the items arrived I got it installed with the assistance of a friend who is a handyman, system powered up and began charging the battery, I monitored the system for a good 2 months running a small load (water well pump, 6000BTU window A/C, 1 LED ceiling light) with no serious issues except for the battery which, showed few glitches here and there but, when I had a concern, ShopSolar staff was a phone call away however, when I introduced a bigger load from my RV, the system could not handle it for more than 4 or 5 hours, especially the Kong Elite 19Kwh BigBattery, it is nowhere near its name!!

Getting started with them was easy. I installed the product myself and it was simple. Customer service reps were great. I could get a hold of them and ask a question anytime. Plus, they have videos on Youtube.

I bought a 6 kW solar system. Buying the product was very easy to do. But the diagram they submitted was lacking. I'm a licensed electrician by trade. There were things I saw that I do not think were right. I corrected them myself and brought some things up to code. As far as the setup went, I had to figure out myself how I wanted to mount it. They sold a rack mount system that was thousands of dollars. It was too much money, so I had designed my own rack mount system. Then they turned around and offered a bracket fork that the UL would not pass for that application. I got the system to run. But ShopSolarKits was not prepared to be able to support the product they sold. The product is reliable, but it doesn't perform as advertised.

ShopSolar had a sale going on, and I said, “Oh, okay. I'll give them a call.” I talked with a fellow there, and he was extremely congenial. He answered all my questions about shipping and return issues that I might have, and I felt good doing business with them, so I did. I thought, “Okay. I'll pick up one of these batteries and try it out.” And it was a very good thing. I still have the battery. ShopSolar did everything they said, and they were available when I called with follow-up questions or where I had a concern about something I was reading on it, and they explained, “Oh, don't worry about that. Here's what you wanna do.” They took plenty of time to talk to me, too. I didn't feel like they made their sale and they didn't care. That was nice.

The purchase with ShopSolar was really good. I called and spoke to a man named Alex and we talked over what my needs were. I got the EcoFlow Delta Max and the installation was very easy. I really like the fact that it would charge quickly with solar. We used it after Hurricane Ian to power our refrigerator and we didn't lose what we had in it.

ShopSolar got the product to us fast. The only thing I had to complain about was the generator that we got. The battery was kind of dead already when we got it. Other than that, everything we received from them was great. We did the DIY and it wasn't too terribly hard after we did some research on it. But we've been struggling with it still. We still aren't real sure how to regulate some stuff, but any time I've called them and asked them questions, they're pretty good to let us know what's going on. As far as expense, it was pretty decent. I'd do it again and probably will and I've recommended them to several of my friends who asked me about them.

EcoFlow Delta Max offered solar panels that I was familiar with the name of good quality. It also fit our budget. It was big enough to run our refrigerator when the solar panels are out almost continuously. But I had trouble following the delivery process ‘cause things were scattered all over the country. They came at different timelines. I also got a lot of emails from ShopSolar, which I liked. Every step of the way, they were showing me where something was. Usually those notices said, especially on the EcoFlow device, that a signature was required. But it got delivered, and we didn't even know it did. Nobody rang the doorbell or tried to get our attention. They just set it down and left. That is an issue that ShopSolar needs to address with their transportation people.

ShopSolar's reps were easily accessible and ready to talk. I got a solar generator with solar panels and I have an off-grid cabin that I use it in. Based on the information sheet that came with it, I'm expecting to use it longer than 10 years. So, it was attractive to me because I don't want to be purchasing new products every few years. It was a great purchase. I'd also suggest ShopSolar above other companies. I've done a lot of research, looked at a lot of companies, and was very pleased with what I found.

I called them for questions and I sent a couple of emails to them. They got back to me within a day or two and everything was answered. We got both solar panels and a generator. You need solar panels to charge a generator. So far, so good. ShopSolarKits is a good place to go.

Finding what I needed was easy. I use my Titan Solar Generator every day. I have it in an RV and I run the air conditioner for six to eight hours. Also, customer support was great. We had trouble with the chargers and we've had two that went bad. They covered them all. Also, one of the charges that were in the cigarette lighter went bad. They covered that as well. They were very attentive to that.

We have a sun facing house. Whenever we have storms, it's nice to have a backup. I wanted to have something that was sized to be able to run my refrigerator. If we ever did have a power outage, that's 500 bucks worth of food. I just hate to waste all that. It took a little bit longer to get the unit than I had expected. The shipping in a lot of areas was screwed up. When the unit finally got here, there was a little hiccup. The solar panels were great but there was a part that looked like it would flash on and try to power then the little screen would go out and you would just get nothing.

The guy from ShopSolar was pleasurable to work with, and I got a good discount when I bought one of the generators. The delivery came well packaged and with foam and it wasn't damaged. It was a good experience. I bought the generator a couple of years ago and I still have it. I'm a truck driver and I put it in my truck. I use it all the time. I charge things, but I mainly use it for my coffee maker. I got a Keurig in my truck and I make coffee with it every day. The generator is great to have. The power in the house went out and we used it to power up the electric grill and coffee and we had breakfast. I bought another generator, and I have it as backup. The battery starts declining once it's used, but my backup generator is still in the box and it's brand-new. Also, I bought a property, so I'm gonna need it sooner or later if I ever get up there to the property.

The customer service was outstanding. Going with them can save you some time and it's one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. They have a very complete and thorough website. I was a total neophyte on solar equipment and they were the most professional company I encountered. The installation went well. I had a couple of issues because of my lack of knowledge on how to connect solar panels and every time I called, the phone was answered promptly and my questions were answered. I'm happy with the products I got from them. I've recommended them to several of my friends.

I use the system for backup and ShopSolarKits was really good to work with. I'm using it for backup but I lost two batteries. One kicked out, but I was able to get it to kick back on, and we had to send the other one in.

I love the EcoFlow. I had it test driven. Even before I got to use it for the business, power went out in Austin for a couple of weeks. The system ran my coffee pot and my refrigerator. I had the solar panel outside so it would last a little longer. Having the system has been fantastic. I can go out and get a closing done within an hour. I close and send it from my vehicle because I have that system in my car. If I had to drive all the way home, it would never happen.

They were very helpful. We forgot about our credit card but that was straightened out. A couple of times, I had technical questions and the person I talked to didn't sound like they knew what was going on. But most of the time, I talked to someone who was very helpful. We're saving a dollar or two per day.

Important statement for DIY solar planners. ---- If doing a permitted install, never purchase any components before first completing your designs to ensure they align with your AHJ's specs and requirements. ---- A month back, I reached out to Shop Solar Kits for a DIY, permitted solar plan. Sad thing about it: I had already purchased and installed most of my equipment. So, when I signed up with ShopSolar.com for a $1400 plan-set, I had no idea that all my labors and spending would collide with the AHJ for my project. Thus I ended up holding non-certified DIY solar components.

The installation was easy because the guy told us exactly what we needed, made sure we had all the parts, and told us how to do it. ShopSolarKits even has videos on YouTube you can watch if talking isn't your way of learning. My husband did what the guy told him, and it worked perfectly. The solar panels were set up to be a backup for the freezer, for the refrigerator, and for some lights. Every single day, I made my coffee, use my appliance, any accessory appliances on it, etc to save a little money here and there. We loved it. We're gonna do it again probably.

I got a Bluetti and I sized it to make sure that my refrigerator would run till the end of time if the power went off. The quality is rock solid. It met all the specs and the price was fair. It can run my refrigerator if needed 24 hours a day. Also, I hooked it up to a gas pump and the panels will refill that gas tank to the top during the six hours of sun. I will recommend ShopSolarKits.

The sales reps that I talked to, Ron and Max, were both super cool, knowledgeable, and patient. I knew pretty much what I wanted but they spent the time and confirmed with me what I wanted and needed. Also, ShopSolarKits makes it where you're not at the mercy of people who make 25k off of four days' worth of labor and end up netting $18,000 off of you. ShopSolarKits offers the ability to do it by yourself.

I would recommend ShopSolar as a place for people to look as a part of the process. After doing my online research, I found a local vendor that I was interested in using and I worked with them to determine what was the best make-up for the system. I have a solar array on the roof and it directly feeds through my electric panel in my basement, and any unused solar production pushes back through the meter to the grid. The vendor has an application called Enlighten and that's tied directly to my system. and it shows me my usage. I live in the city of Longmont, Colorado, and my design was based on five years of actual usage, and they're designed to meet that usage. And my annual consumption the two years or almost two years I've had it has been right at that design level. I have not paid for any additional power usage from the city other than what I produce.

The setup was easy. It only took a few hours to hook up. I need more batteries but they're expensive. I can run off of the charge usually all night but sometimes, my system would shut off before morning. I bought the original 1,300 watt EcoFlow generator and used it with the fifth wheel trailer. It has worked out beautifully. I then went with the EcoFlow Max which has twice the capacity. When I got it and looked at all the information, it was not the same thing. It had less power than the Max that I wanted. So I called ShopSolarKits again, and the guy that does all the videos, Max, I talked to him and he said he didn't know what EcoFlows do when they're just flooding the market, putting less cells in. It got really confusing. When I got the unit, it wouldn't take a solar charge. So we ended up sending it back. ShopSolarKits did everything for me. They got the authorization to send it back and everything went smoothly.

Everything was pretty straightforward. I bought them and everything arrived sooner than they thought it was going to. I had some problems when I was setting it up and they worked me through it. Today, I was on the phone with them because I had some questions and they were pretty helpful. I have two EMG batteries. I've got a 20-gallon water tank with a water pump and I run the water pump off of that and also, a couple of USB charging ports throughout the van that I installed.

ShopSolarKits had the one solar generator that had a plug that I could plug my motor home right into. I logged on to their website and ordered it, and got it delivered. Supposedly, it will run my motor home for four hours on a charge, depending on how much juice I'm sucking out of it.

ShopSolarKits had the best price and the guy who owned the place was very easy to deal with. I paid them and they sent their product, and we did the installation ourselves. It’s simple but requires some learning. There was a number we called to get some information, which was reasonably good, though it’s not like having somebody next door that you can call and ask to come to tell you what you’re doing wrong.

We went with ShopSolarKits based on affordability. They were the lowest cost that we could find and it was a good deal. When I first reached out to them, they were really nice, helpful, and friendly. But after we got the system, things changed a little. We had some issues getting the unit set up and running and getting it to provide the power that we needed for the time periods that we needed. We fully expected it to be able to power our RV and these little appliances in it into the night but it wouldn't even do that.

I had to put the project on hold until I got confirmation on how we need to wire this up and not blow anything up, because that's always bad. The reps were helpful. I hate it ShopSolarKits. It doesn't work in the snow and there are eight months of snow up here. It doesn't run my electric heater for eight hours, but it is charged up. It's a waste of my money. I'm very disappointed. I'm gonna sell it, and I'm never doing solar again.

I could load it up in the back of the car and take it with me. I keep them charged. They said every three months, run them down to 30% then recharge them. The only question I had was whether to hook the panels up in parallel or serial, and I have a video that shows how to do both. I was doing parallel and thinking about getting two more panels. I asked if I went to six, was it parallel or serial. The rep said, "No. The training video was showing you how to do parallel, but for your setup, just do them serial." It's just go out there and plug the things together. Everything's so easy. I was looking at their site two weeks ago, and I noticed that they had an open box for another $200 off. They already have discount codes for a lot of stuff, and this was even more discounted.

Enrolling with ShopSolarKits was straightforward. They were quick at answering. They sent me the estimate or the price of what I wanted with the panels and that was super easy. I started with one of their kits that they had, but I wanted extra panels. I emailed them. They emailed me back an invoice with the extra panels I wanted. They sent me the instructions to wire transfer the money. We did that and they sent the kit and everything worked out great. One of the panels showed up broken. They had me send them pictures of it because they don't do one panel shipments. They have to do at least four. But they refunded me for that one panel with just some pictures and it was super easy. They were willing to work with me to get the refund. They also refunded the money immediately. There was no long wait. The whole experience was great.

This company is not only helpful but they actually care about their customers. I had a situation that they could have easily Just wrote me off and instead worked side by side with me to fix the issue. I have spent over $11k with this company and I will be spending more in the future.

The installation went very well. The kit came with sufficient instructions and I didn't have any problem at all. I used the helpline a couple of times for questions I had and they were very quick to answer and very thorough. The system is lovely and I save a little money with it. The convenience of having backup power is sort of self-fulfilling. I would highly recommend ShopSolarKits. They're very good at what they do.

I did the installation of the equipment I got from ShopSolarKits myself because there were no electricians in the area that felt they wanted to mess with it. There's also a problem with the smart home panel that I've had from the beginning, and I have yet to get that resolved. It is showing a fault code and I'm not able to produce 240 volts because of that. ShopSolar doesn't make them but I contacted their tech department on this and they briefly followed up. So their follow up when there are problems could be improved. Now, I have worked primarily with ECOFLOW Direct on it and they had promised me last week they'd be sending me a new relay. But I have not gotten it yet and we don't even know if that's going to solve the issue. Other than that, when it works right, it's a great system and it does what it's supposed to do.

But they just sent me a new handle for it and I had to do a little surgery on it myself.

You just hook it into your house after you installed a transfer panel and switch. My house runs 24/7. My panels can charge the batteries, and the batteries will last about three days without any sunlight. But if it's cloudy and rainy, it can go for about five days before needing help.

I give ShopSolarKits thumbs up on their service. The quality of the merchandise is right up there. You're paying for a service for them to handle putting things together and purchasing product for you. They buy from a manufacturer that manufactures that solar panel then they put it into a kit, and ship it to the purchaser. They know how to teach how to do installs for the basic homeowners that don't know how to deal with the product if they wanna do it themselves. They have tutorials, videos and publications on how to properly put these systems together.

We called ShopSolarKits and spoke directly with the gentleman. He got us set up with everything. We got the EcoFlow Delta 1800. We got two of the lithium batteries and four 100-watt solar panels. We recently hooked up our solar panels and it was easy enough to do. We've got them going. Whenever we have any concerns, we've always been able to contact someone and get help. The batteries needed charging so we had people come out and look over them. But it was easy enough for them to be able to do that without it being too confusing to someone that had never used it before. We use it solely for the refrigerator. When it's warmer, it takes more to keep the refrigerator cool so it lasts between 15 to the 17 hours. But in the winter, it didn't seem to drain it as quickly. If we use it to charge phones or plug in some lights, the battery can last 24 hours.

Purchasing my package was an awesome experience. I bragged about it and recommended it to a lot of people and said, "Hey, if you're interested in a system, go look because you can see the package prices compared to what I paid on my previous experience having a contractor install my solar." It went so smoothly. The installation was fun. The only issue I had was with the big batteries that were sent with the system. They called and said, "Hey, the batteries are back-ordered. Would you like an alternative?" I said, "No, I'll wait it out." Within a week, the batteries arrived. That was nice. Also, customer service has been awesome.

ShopSolarKits was awesome. They got the product to me quickly. It all came complete and everything was all right. I have a couple of issues with the inverter. When the power went down, the battery went dead and I didn't have a charger. That was kind of an issue, but it's a nice inverter. The only thing is that they need to work on helping through the permitting process. That was a little extreme with the county and with Pacific Gas & Electric. I had to deal with five different engineers with PG&E by myself.

A year ago, I purchased from ShopSolarKits online, and the process was generally easy for somebody who knows what they're looking for. They shipped out my order, then I put it together myself. It's portable, and it's here waiting for backup energy. I've used it once for that purpose too.

I clicked create new account and typed my email. I was done within two minutes. It was very easy. I got a huge discount. The price went down by a lot because ShopSolarKits had a special. The only customer service I needed was whenever you buy something from them, they make packs from different companies. That's how they keep their costs down. When I received one FedEx tracking number, the lettering on the email was gray. My background on my email is also gray so I couldn't see any of the others. So, when I received that tracking information, I said, “Hey, I'm missing half of my packages.” And they responded within 15 minutes, saying, “This is the other tracking numbers right here. For some reason, you didn't get them.” But I did. They were the same color as my background. They answered immediately and solved my issue. They were very easy to work with and very responsive, which is not common anymore.

We wanted to get something to start out to get us comfortable with it. And this system is perfect. We got all of our parts. My boyfriend ordered for me. He put my email in wrong. And I didn't get all the information I was supposed to at first. He contacted the company and got everything that we needed and got the email address straightened out. And once we got all that figured out, we ended up having a bad battery. So, we sent it back. It took a month to get the new one back after testing, which is fine. I was disappointed because I wanted to use it right away, but it was okay. We hooked it up when we got it. And we had it hooked up to a different battery to keep it running. Everything works great. I am very satisfied. We plan on getting more stuff to be able to make our system run our entire camper instead of just part of it. If we were to get more, we would get stuff through ShopSolarKits. I appreciate the service that I got from them.

ShopSolarKits was great. We discussed what I needed and told them what I was looking at. I asked what their opinion was, told them what I'm planning, and this is what I'm looking to do, and asked if it will work. They were excellent. As far as the installation, I had questions on how to connect the panels. You can connect them in different ways. I bought more than what the kit said. The kit only called for four, but I bought six because of our weather. So, I wanted to know how to hook the six up and I told them how I was doing it and they said, "No, don't do it that way, do it this way."

ShopSolarKits is a good company to deal with. The products work well. I was a little frustrated with not being able to call them on the phone, but they were fairly responsive on emails. The reps seemed knowledgeable on what they were talking about. However, I'm a little disappointed that I can't do what I thought I could do as far as providing enough power. It seems I can generate about 10,800 per unit and I have two units. But I wanted to generate 25,000 watts out of one setup.

Things went smoothly with ShopSolar. I analyzed how much power all the pieces of electrical equipment in my house used, then found a kit that matched battery-wise. I ordered the kit and did a home install. If I needed help, it was always just a phone call away. I've used them a couple of times for troubleshooting and I've always gotten a quick response from the engineering team, whether by email or just call. That's been really easy. They sent me as many different diagrams as I needed to alter my system as well.

The big solar kit I got has been doing good. I was trying to get my lines all the way from the solar panels to the inside of my control and charging my batteries instead of getting them in sections. But I had a problem with the MC4 connectors underground. They could have sweated but I went back and pulled it all out. I ended up having to sweat those connections together in order for it to hold up for a long time. I had to tighten up the fuse links several times. But besides all that, everything was great. I have a lot of shade around my house and the solar kit still works really well. I lose a bit of power but I don't lose that much. I'm pleased with it.

We had a few solar panels, a 12-volt system. With ShopSolarKits, I upgraded to 48-volt system with lithium batteries. The installation was easy. They were upfront from the sales team, matching us with our energy needs. But with the follow-up advice, they were hard to get ahold of. So if you need help understanding something on the inverter, they wouldn't get back to you.
