ION Solar's door-to-door salesman set me up with a representative. Then they came out and we discussed a plan and what I wanted to do. The representative I initially met with was very friendly and easy to talk to. The workers who installed the panels were also very easy to work around. They put up eight panels and they walked me through where they're going to put them and how they were going to do it and if they needed to replace the roof any time soon. The price was broken down into manageable payments, so that was reasonable. So far, my electric bill is almost nonexistent. Also, their app is useful to see how much you're generating, solar-wise.

ION Solar did the presentation over the phone and the techs came out for the installation. It was zip, zip, zip and it was done. It took about a month from the first phone call to when they finished because we had to get the permit first. We got a zero electric bill from public service for ION Solar and a month later, we got a double bill. So I gotta call them. It doesn’t make sense. Still, people should get solar panels from ION.

They were very persistent. We wanted solar, but my husband was totally against it. He kept scaring them away, but they kept coming back and it was always the same person. The person was very nice and knowledgeable. But we got the solar at a bad time in the summer. Last month, we had a $300 bill. It was less than what it was. But to pay for a solar bill and electric bill, we just hope what they say is right. It doesn't work well in the heat and we have to build up the points.

The presentation was very informative and helpful. The installation took a very short time. They did a great job. I'm happy with them.

ION Solar was the right place at the right time for the most part. They showed up at the right time. Brandon was the sales guy that I talked to. He was really knowledgeable and was helping out with all the questions that I had and answered them. It was fairly easy dealing with ION. I had to reschedule a couple of times, which was fine, but reached out to me at a reasonable time to reschedule and the rescheduled time was not hard to deal with at all. It was an overall great process. They have great people to work with and work around.

They had a salesperson going door-to-door and we heard their spiel. They offered a bunch of incentives, helpful tips, and details about solar energy in general. They informed us pretty good so we decided to go with them. It took about a month or two to get the panels on the house for the city approval. That was reasonable because it takes a while for that. Our experience, so far, has been really good. I get on the app every once in a while and it produces over what we use. We get to store some of it and on cloudy days, that's what we use. Last month, our energy bill was 55 cents. I wasn't even able to pay it because it was under a dollar.

ION Solar came to the door and the rep was good. The panels were installed in one day and it’s very impressive. It was in February and we've had no electric bill that came out other than the three summer months. I've been happy with ION.

Everything went smoothly in my experience with ION Solar except for the installation. They didn't have the correct layout that my homeowners association approved. So they had to come back out and remove some panels so that they could comply with the plan. But other than that, I had a good experience.

I like that ION Solar has a good reputation. The installation was so quick. It was unreal. They were done in four hours. Having the system, my electric bill has gone to zero and I have recommended the company to my son-in-law and daughter 'cause they're thinking about putting it on their house.

Russ, the ION Solar consultant, came by my house, then I reach out to him a few months after he came by to switch to them. So far, my CPS bill is $10 for a month with the 30 panels that I got, which is not bad. But recently, I noticed that whenever the sun is out from 7:30 in the morning, my panels are not producing a lot until midday. But when they were first installed, early in the morning, my panels were producing more. It was producing 68, the highest average I have ever seen it go. And now, whenever it's a hot day and the sun is out all day, it's producing 58 kilowatts. Other than that, everybody at ION has has been great and friendly. I also recommended a friend and a family member to them.

My experience with ION Solar was good. It's just I ran into an issue with the power company, and there were some issues with the installation where I had to go back and forth with some people with the power company and the ION installation people. It got delayed about a month because of the issues. Customer service is good. Sometimes, it would take a little bit longer than I would like to get a response.

I liked what ION Solar had to say. It sounded like a great thing to do and I was happy with how they explained everything. It was a very easy installation as well. They had it up in one day and everything was clean. I have an app on my phone to track my progress and I like it. It's very easy to use. My electric bill went from almost $300 down to $15. I was talking to the neighbor who really liked ION Solar and she said her electric bills did the same thing.

ION Solar is a very easy company to work with. They're very upfront about information presented. I was very impressed with the sales rep because not only did he present the general information about the incentives that Dominion Energy has, but he also personally has panels from ION Solar and showed me how that has affected him and his family. That and the incentives from Dominion convinced me.

PG&E caused us to go solar, and I heard of Ion Solar through a family member. Multiple people have said they had great experiences. I signed up and it was a piece of cake. I met with Daniel, our representative through Ion Solar, and we sat down and talked about things. I basically just said that I wanted to go solar, and he took care of everything. He reviewed the documents that they create, showing what they would produce. From then until the time I chose to purchase solar panels, he would answer any question that I had. He was a good contact point, and from the time I said yes and signed the contract, I just had to monitor my email to approve documents. The process took a few months. It was delayed because of my town's mandatory waiting period for permits.

The sales guy, Ruben, came to the house and started talking to me. He came by three times then he brought his supervisor, Mike, over, and we went over the details. Signing up with ION Solar was smooth and fairly easy. Mike was well educated in the process and made us feel like he was talking us through the process instead of trying to sell us solar. Getting the loan was super easy as well. It was one phone call, and we were good to go. For the installation, I got a call before the installers got here and they said that they were gonna interrupt the power for 5, 10 minutes. But it was more like two. They turned it off after they set everything up. I work from home, and I didn't even notice they were here until they knocked on the door and said that they were done.

I was thinking about getting solar panels. An ION Solar rep came to my house and I talked to him for a bit. He was a polite, professional, courteous salesman. ION Solar had somebody else come out and do a presentation. He had a whole presentation of slides and all kinds of other stuff to look at. He went through everything and answered any questions I had. He was very knowledgeable. The guys that came out for the installation were chill. They didn't mess up my roof. So, that was good. The first time, I got 12 panels. But I still used power from the grid. And because I put in a lot of fish tanks and other stuff, it used more power. So, I got 18 more. The interest rate on my loan is a little higher now. But for the power bill, I had to pay the monthly fee that Dominion charges for just having power and that is all I've had to pay so far. I gotta pay for solar panels, too. But eventually, that price will go away whenever I pay them off.

ION Solar's salesperson was good, but end of the day they are trying to sell the panels. They do not try to save the customers in terms of the budget. So, they just want to sell. It was a bad experience. We were told that having the solar panels will bring down the energy bill every month by a significant amount, but I'm still getting $80 to $90 every month even after having the solar panels. I pay $100. And with our solar panels, I've been paying 110 or 120. So, there is no significant difference. I should have been given additional three to four panels. The size was significantly lower compared to my neighbors and looking at my bill. So, since that was my first time, I didn't know how these things worked. But we just went based on what the salesperson said. We just listened to him.

I looked around at different companies and I liked how ION was. Dealing with the reps was great and the communication during the whole process was good. I like that.

Starting the process with ION Solar was easy and they took care of all I needed to take care of. The rep I worked with was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the field and their products.

The ION salesman was super persistent. He was here every week for a year. Eventually, it made sense and I appreciated his persistence. The whole process has been amazing with them. Everything was as told to us. If they said, "The installation will take four hours." It did. If they were like, "It'll take another month for everything to turn on." It did. Everything seemed to be super accurate.

I first heard about solar energy services through my relatives and I was interested because of what my power bills were for my little house. ION Solar’s reps were very thorough in explaining what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I was very happy with the installation and the follow-up. The installation was quick and took only a couple of hours. It was waiting for all of the paperwork that they had to get done before the installation. The salesperson was in contact with me from the time he came and explained it to me until they were done with the installation. ION is a good company. My power bill has been a lot lower since I went solar.

My experience with the ION Solar rep was very positive, helpful, and informative. The hardest thing was deciding to get a new roof and getting that done before we did the solar. But the solar itself, the whole process was very streamlined. We're satisfied. But we're not getting as much benefit as we felt initially. Our last month's bill went up only $5. It's not totally free because we have that amount we have to pay to the electric company. But because of the weather factor that we used more electricity than we produced last month, I'm not sure if we should have had more solar panels done or not. It would have been nice not to have to pay anything at all every month. But what we're paying is minor compared to the possibilities.

The enrollment process was pretty efficient and quick. The system is pretty new, so everything seems to be okay. Our last bill was really high because my air conditioner had leaked some Freon. So our bill was over $200. For our comfort, I'm so glad that we installed this because it's nice to use your air conditioner knowing that you're not gonna have to be paying that much for it. So right now, everything is okay.

I saw ION on my neighbor's house. So I also signed up with them. There was quite a few people in our neighborhood that had to sign up. I've had a pretty good experience so far.

ION Solar did a great job of explaining, laying out everything, showing cost based on me providing current usage bills. They were able to calculate all that. So, it was a good presentation. The installers took half a day to install the system. They over-delivered there, where I thought it would be a full day, and it was done in four hours. The system works as expected to the point that I added more panels. So, I've done two purchases with ION Solar. With the first purchase, I was supposed to be 75% of our energy consumption. There were four months out of the year that I had a bill. The rest were paying the base fee to be on the grid. Since then, I've gone over to be above 100%. So, I haven't been getting a bill.

I was looking for affordable ways to do solar, and a salesperson came to our house and talked about it. It took a couple of weeks from signing up to installation and everything was smooth. They came out quickly and the installation went well. But we had a couple of little hiccups with the data. Some of the panels were reading wrong. I called the people on the phone, they did their thing on the computer and it came out fine.

The sales rep from ION Solar came by and the solar panels were installed in about a month. It’s been six months and I save about $$150 a month.

Ion Solar came to my house and told me about how the power company, Oncor, is planning on paying for the necessary upgrades to the system by pushing all of the cost directly onto the people in the new neighborhood. I also got a $200 heating bill for a week of cold weather that told me, "Yeah, this is something that could be very useful for me." Everything was very smooth when I signed up. There's also an app and I get emails regularly about my progress. Now, I have much lower bills for all the cooling that is necessary in Texas in the summer. That's made life a lot easier, and I know that'll be even more so when I pay off the solar panels, which I'm planning on doing before the end of the term.

ION Solar has been good. Their price was fair and the product is equitable. The sales guy was super informative. The door-to-door sale was effective, but they could do more in terms of marketing and getting their product out to the general public. I did have some technical difficulties right after getting the product installed, but they were quick about sending out a tech to fix it. They did get it fixed easily. Going solar has been good so far. We're producing an excess every month.

The installation was also quick and very non-invasive. They were out there and got it done. They talked to me through it and let me know what they were doing before they did. It was good. I love everything. Everything's been great. I'm so happy.
