EmPower Solar Reviews

My panels were put in eight years ago. EmPower came to the house and explained everything before I signed up with them. The whole front of the roof is covered as well as part of the back roof. But I recently got a very large electric bill, so EmPower is coming today to look at my solar equipment. Each day, I can see how much is being produced in the bar chart on the equipment outside. There's also an app one can use to check but there's an issue with the connection to my Wi-Fi so that's another thing they're gonna check today. Their customer support is excellent and I've recommended them to other people.

Signing up with EmPower was super easy and they were very fast with the installation part. The panels got delivered and four days later, they were on the roof. The inverters were in place. The longest wait was for the town to come and do the inspection. It took three months. The panels were on the roof but we weren't seeing any benefit from it. Other than that, I love going solar. The equipment is very good. The power company where we are gives us a check yearly for the extra that we produce. It took a year to see any "cost savings" because the bill that we usually pay went to paying off the loan.

Two gentlemen did the presentation and they took a look at the roof. One of the guys was an engineer and he figured out how many panels they could put on the roof and how much they could generate. The big ticket item on the system was getting a battery array as a backup in the house. So if the power goes down, I have 24 hours of power for back up and that was the biggest expense that we had. The installers were here in a workman-like manner. They were here every day. If they weren't going to come, they would tell me, "We're waiting for this guy and this guy is gonna come on Thursday." They were totally upfront with me with every portion.

Signing up with EmPower Solar was easy. I contacted them directly. Everyone that works there is very helpful. They have always answered the phone and my questions. They were very helpful and they walked me through the whole process. They sent out a representative. He sat down with me, went over all the details, sent through email with PDFs the whole layout of what they recommend, the size of the whole solar array, and what it would save me. They gave me the full breakdown of what my cost would be, how it would impact my utility bill moving forward, and they offered me the financing options. They offered me the option of getting a NYSERDA loan. They handled everything from getting the permits, setting up appointments with the town for inspections, and it was straightforward and quick. They were held back by the town and the town inspectors were based on their scheduling. But it was seamless.

I was interested in solar and a friend of mine and his daughter both had it and I got good reports from them. I had two other companies come here but I didn't care for the program, the buyback and the leasing and by the time I got to EmPower, I’ve decided to buy and how to buy my panels. I have had a great experience with them and I hadn't had a problem until this repair. I have two underperforming panels that I reported in early June and I had an appointment for five weeks later but they said something happened to the technician. It sounds like they've only got one. And now I'm not getting service till sometime in August. The length of time it's taken to repair two underperforming panels is a little disheartening. It has taken me three months of waiting for a technician to fix it.

I spoke with EmPower Solar and I was happy with what they had to say and the signup was pretty easy. I've had to contact them for issues a couple of times but it was issues with squirrels getting under my panels. They had to come in and do some repairs. There was one issue with inverters where they came and they had to replace them and they did it, no issues. Also, I'm pretty happy with the cost. I figured it would pay back in six years and it certainly did.

I wanted solar power for my house and I couldn't find a good service. EmPower was the first company that came out seem to know their business. I met four solar guys who had no idea what they were doing and the EmPower guy came out and sat down with me and showed me his numbers. He understood them enough to answer questions and to change variables in the numbers that I asked him to change. He understood what he was doing and what I was doing so his math felt very honest to me. After I signed with EmPower, they sent some people out to do the town meetings and handle that, which they did well and quickly. Then, they sent a crew out. In two days, they installed the system, which was professional and neat. They did a better job than a lot of electricians that I know in the way they had to get wires through the house. I was impressed with them from the beginning up to the end.

Empower Solar is the best company with the most efficient panels and cost-effective price. The salespeople were honest and upfront. They didn't sugar coat or try to upsell. They didn't try to hide anything, where a lot of the guys who were trying to lease the panels were all shady. Empower wanted to do the best for me, not the best for them. When they first started, they were just selling the system itself. They weren't leasing to get money to kick back.

The EmPower Solar salesperson I worked with was great. He came to our house and did what he had to do. And the whoever got on the roof tested everything. They gave us all the information we needed, whether it was cost-effective, etcetera. When we had our solar installed, they didn't have backup batteries. Now they have the Tesla backup battery. But I haven't heard much about that. I would have been more interested in the backup battery. Other than that, customer service has been great. I had a couple of the things throughout the years but they always responded well, kept in touch, and did what they had to do.

EmPower came over, estimated the site, and they got all the paperwork done themselves. Everything was perfect. It took eight months to get all the paper support and all the permits done, and then the installation was done within two weeks.

The signup process was good and easy and working with EmPower Solar was excellent. The product worked as discussed with them and I was very happy with the results. The price is always too high but it was fine. There were no surprises. It was as discussed and advertised.

The reps were all good and it was a positive experience with EmPower. It's a big solar panel system so, it was a large installation. It had its issues and quirks but we were able to work everything out, and it's been fine. I'm getting all the power that I should be getting and it's all on my phone app. It's exactly what they had represented. I have recommended EmPower to other people in the past.

It was terrible with Empower Solar. They lied. I asked them what happens if my roof needs to be changed? They said, "We inspected your roof and your roof is great." Two years later, my roof had to be changed. They told me it would cost $500 to take the solar panels off the roof and put them back on. Then they tried to charge me $2,500. We ended up reaching a different price but it was still twice as much as what they originally quoted me. I would never recommend them again. They should be ashamed for what they did.

I had EmPower when I lived in New York. Their rep, Corey, sat down with me and we went through it probably five or six times because I was skeptical. He gave me education on going solar and I learned more about it. It wasn't one of those sales-y type pitches. He was more of the guy that said, "Hey, you have any questions, you call me back, and I'll let you know. I will get you the information that you're looking for." Also, I recall him saying that there were two different types of panels that I could use. One was much more expensive and one was more affordable. And as a salesperson, you'd push the most expensive on the client but Corey was completely the opposite. He gave me what I needed and he was the most honest salesperson I've ever met in my life.

EmPower Solar is good. Their rep came over with all the documentation and went over everything. Everything was thorough and the installation took a day and a half. I'm satisfied with going solar and I noticed differences in my bills right away.

Everything is very positive in my experience with EmPower Solar. The workmen were very neat and cordial. They accommodated all my needs. I had asked for some special things, and they gave it to me. It was great. I'm very satisfied. I’d recommend them highly.

Or else you will be paying $650.00 monthly loan payments + con Edison bill for next 20 years if you're not eligible for tax credits. Get into details what they are doing. Multiple sales representatives to deal with who will never clearly explain what is happening. At the end of installation they were refusing to install the feeders to monitor panels production. And they were asking for more money. We have suffered a lot instead of a joyful journey.

Too much Gouging. You estimate how much I will save then try to get 80% + right off the top, then system wears out, or needs replacement, and roof a 8k roof has to be redone. 400w solar panels high cost are $500 a panel, you charge 2.5 to 3x as much. Where's the savings.?

Everything I've done with EmPower has been excellent. They made me very comfortable with the purchase and everybody I had dealt with were very cordial and seemed knowledgeable. Everything's been holding up and doing well. If you're looking for solar, EmPower is reliable and makes the experience comfortable.

The rep followed up and when things got delayed in getting the permits for the solar, EmPower sent us some gift cards to make up for the inconvenience and the loss of the summer months. So, it was nice. It's been a while since my first installation with EmPower Solar but it was fairly easy and well communicated so I knew when people were coming and how long they were gonna be there for. The installation team was friendly, prompt and courteous. EmPower has a way of tracking what I’m producing electronically but I unhooked it and I haven't re-hooked it. So, I just track it on the power statements that come from my power company. EmPower has been great. Any time I've had an issue or needed something corrected, they've been quick to fix it. I just saved money so I don't have any complaints. I would recommend them.

The sign-up process with EmPower was very straightforward. They give you the buying and leasing options, and if you'll be paying every month for energy, and if not, how many kilowatts each panel produces. If you put this many panels, you're gonna produce this much. If you put this many, this much. It's very thorough. If you thought you needed two more panels, you can add two more. If you thought it was too much, you could take off. In both my houses, it was the perfect number of panels. They have an app and it tells you what it produces every day, the month, the year, and if there are any shortcomings you gotta check back. They did the installation in a day and when one of the inverters in the house broke, they came and installed it and I paid nothing. Two of my family members installed panels and they're happy.

Empower Solar is a great company. My utility costs are lower.

The reps were very helpful when I needed them. The installation took a day. A few of my neighbors asked us about it. I told them about the bill being cheaper and how much better it is, and three of them got it.

I love EmPower Solar. The company is fantastic. I had issues during COVID and everything was replaced. It wasn't the easiest thing to do and it took a little bit longer than usual. But responded back and it was very reasonable under the conditions that we were living. If I email them about anything, I get a response back. Once you email and you are in communication with someone, you can call them and it's not an issue. But if they don't know what it is, they're not going to call you right back because there are emails to let them know there is an issue and a person gets assigned. I also had Wi-Fi issues and they worked with me on that.

Empower Solar has been easy to deal with so far. I experienced one problem wherein one of my panels wasn't responding. The company sent out a technician, and they diagnosed it, found the problem and fixed it for me free of charge. When I took over the house from the previous owner, I got a small electric bill for the first two years. Once this problem was corrected, I didn't receive any. I received credits. I have recommended Empower Solar to two friends when they were interested in looking into solar panels.

EmPower's sign up process was very professional, they do follow-ups, and everything was on time. I had a person who was in charge of all the paperwork and the permits. He used to call me all the time. He came to the house. He was very clear. He was great. The system cost $46,000, but my rebates altogether were $26,000. So, I only paid $20,000. They give me a great interest rate of 3%. I haven't had any electrical bills since they installed my system. So, I'm very happy with it. EmPower is the place to go. When we had a problem with the unit the following year, they came right away. One of the panels was out so they replaced it. I can also monitor the system with the app. With any issue that I'll have, I can call them right away and they will come.

EmPower Solar’s CEO and sales manager came out to my home, did an inspection and walked around with me. I was impressed with their CEO and their solution, the prices, and the product that they were selling. The installation was fine. It was a process to get it started and it took several months. I started in the spring and it did not get installed until right before Thanksgiving. The installers installed the panels and hooked up the inverter. By a day and a half, it was producing electricity. I then needed to get the net meter installed to start to see the benefits. But I was already experiencing the benefits of it once it was hooked up. In the last week, I've been dealing with EmPower’s support team on an issue and it was not a positive experience trying to get in touch with their support. It has been positive up until about a week ago.

An EmPower Solar consultant came by the house. We discussed the possibilities of different solar systems along with the pros and cons. They developed a blueprint. They gave me information, like a packet with the recovery cost, upfront cost, pay back and rate of return. They installed the solar panels on top of the roof. Now I currently monitor the solar panels. I reached out to them a couple of times and they were very receptive and I highly recommend them. I've seen considerable amount of savings since being with them. Took about seven years to break even and now I make $1,500 a year.

My Dad is 88 and had just came out of a hospital stay when Brandyn Bailey from Empower Solar came knocking at our door. I told him we hadn't the roof to sustain panels. No problem he said as they can sub-contract out and bill us the price of a 18,000 or so roof. I was also told the panels would be free because there is a 20K Government Tax credit we would get after installing their panels and with the power credits we would most likely receive, even the roof payment would be much lower if at all. Now that’s a great deal! I was on board! My Dad was ok with it but very weak. He came long enough for Brandyn to show him some screenshots of data but my dad is very hard of hearing and still not feeling well so I was left me with Brandyn.

EmPower was on top of everything from the very beginning, reminding us about documents or information that we needed to get them, all the way through to the turning on of the system. They worked well on permits. They updated us about delays with the powerwalls that we had installed. They followed up when they didn't need to. I was impressed with the installation team. I went out there to ask them questions and they spent 10 minutes explaining things to me. I ended up going to get them lunch because they were so friendly and professional.

I would recommend EmPower Solar to anybody else. They are all around excellent. I liked their customer service and price. Also, the representative was always available. She would always call me back, give me all sorts of options that we could do. She made it very easy. The installers had tremendous respect for the property.

EmPower Solar has the best price and value. I spoke with a salesperson, who was very informative and straightforward with me, and then he presented a PowerPoint presentation, several of them with different options. They sent me a contract, DocuSign, which I did. I wired money and solar was installed. There were benchmarks. So, on certain benchmarks, I paid. I've had a completely positive experience with the installation. The installation went very smoothly. They did it on time as promised and we've had no subsequent issues. They had subsequent issues, I contacted them and they got back to me right away with decent responses. I had a completely positive experience with EmPower Solar.

EmPower Solar’s signing-up process was very easy. They review it through a video chat and then, they send papers. You go over them and sign them. You just do a monthly payment, they approve you, and everything is good. During the installation, one of the Wi-Fi things that gives you the energy consumption was defective and they had to come back the next day. So, it would have been a day, but it took them a day and a half. They also installed a new roof for me.

The whole process with EmPower was smooth. The reps were very informative on what was going on and what the steps were in the process. Everything was explained and it ended up being done earlier than the expected timeline. The installers seemed very organized and friendly. Each individual in the team knew what they were doing and what they had to do. The application on my phone is a nice little check to see if things are working and also to see how much you're saving, how much you're drawing from the grid, and how much you're using. I was happy that everything worked out smoothly and what was promised was delivered.

EmPower Solar has some really good reviews about their setup and the way they finance, and to me, that was attractive. Signing up was easy. They did have different managers from different departments. So, then I went up the ladder until I had the final review. The installation was fairly easy because I had inspection people come by to see if it was even possible. They sent people on the roof to make sure that everything was sound. The installation process took a day and a half.

I was looking for a solar system and I was being refused by most of the companies because I was living very close to the water. I couldn't understand why that was a problem. When this gentleman called me from EmPower, I told him that and thought that they were gonna tell me the same thing, that because I live next to the water, they won't do it. The gentleman said, "No. Why shouldn't we?" He was very helpful, giving me all kinds of information. I had a very good experience with EmPower. I was very happy with everything they did and they held on their promises. They were on time. Now, my electrical bill is significantly less than before.

EmPower Solar is an amazing company. I've been recommending them to all my other friends. I had an excellent experience. The signup process was very easy. They follow through. Any time I have a problem, their team gives me a call back. The installation was very easy and seamless. There is an app they give you and on that app, you can track your progress.

The signing-up process with EmPower was excellent. Everything was done on the computer. The reps said what was going to happen and it happened at that time when they said it would. The paperwork for them to do it and getting it approved and linking it to my electric company, were done very smoothly. My electric rate doubled since the year before but my bill stayed the same because of the solar.

I hear a lot of stories about other companies doing a lousy job and not turning the people's power on, and that didn't happen with EmPower. The price could be a little less, but installation was quick, easy and clean and they did a fantastic job. I have the app, and it's great because it tells me what I'm using and how much the panels are making. I have seen another app that does not do that. It just tells the user what the panels are making.

I looked at their proposals, what they offer, and the customer service who gave me online consultation because they did a video conference call where they explained how it works. And I realized that this is a serious company and they probably will do a good job. My installation experience was very positive. I'm happy with them. It's a good thing. They gave us an application where I could see how much energy is produced and how much energy is consumed and I could see exactly that I'm saving a lot of money and this is exactly what they wanted. I would recommend them. They're a good company.

Signing up with EmPower was all done virtually and one person came to the house. The way it was run was convenient. The experience since going solar has been great and I'm glad we did it. We're saving money and everything's A-OK. People should go for it.

My experience with them was very pleasant. We did it over the phone and then we met live. The installation went very smoothly. We love the experience of going solar. Right now, we're in the positive for New York. We're accumulating credits with PSEN&G.

Signing up with EmPower Solar was very easy. They were very receptive if I had any questions and would respond within the day or so. They were prompt. For the installation, the crew prepped the wiring before and then the panels took a day to do it. It was working right after they left. Everything's working as it should and I'm satisfied. We've been saving a lot and our electric bill is lower. We pretty much just paying for PSE&G service and the loan for the panels. I wouldn't mind recommending EmPower if somebody asks me.

The salesperson, Scott, was amazing. He quickly gave me a rundown of the plan. The installation was set to be about four months out but they did it within three months, which made me very happy. In terms of breadth of knowledge, the fact that they have somebody dedicated to each step of the process made it much better. I had somebody who was the installation contact. I also had somebody post-installation when I had an issue with trying to figure out the readings on the panels. All of them were amazing.

So far, EmPower did what they said they're gonna do. They eliminated the bill, and everything is working fine. Monitoring is fine. So, they held up their end of the bargain. Upon sign-up, they were very helpful and transparent about everything through the whole process. They answered all my questions. I did have another company, and the specs that EmPower gave me, even though they cost a little bit more than the competitor, the warranty, and the fact that everything is through them and not third parties, and the amount of the kilowatts they were putting into the home with the panels, and the technology of the panels far surpassed the competition. The app they provide is very simple and easy to read. As far as the bill, I never pay more than $24 a month to the electric company anymore. I'd highly recommend EmPower.

The installation was a quick process. They were very neat and they did everything. They had the system charged up and running and signed off on by the town with no problem. The system generated a lot of electricity. It's only been installed for just about a year now and we have a credit of 5,000 kilowatts, which is great. But one of the things that they didn't divulge to us is how often it has to be cleaned. We still don't know. The panels get dirty especially on the roof. Also, we were supposed to get a certain amount of money when I filed my taxes but they didn't say that in order for us to get that money back, we have to have owed so I didn't get the full amount. They didn't say that the tax credit does not come automatically. It's based on how much you make. Also, I don't have the dependents to get back that kind of money.

I was going with a different solar company but they were putting me under a lot of pressure. I found EmPower and the salesman, Caleb, was so great. He was very knowledgeable and he answered all the questions. He was even sending me Google reviews and things like that. He never gave me any pressure and their solar panels are way better. I'm super happy with how everything turned out and the time. Caleb told me that it was gonna be a four to six months turnaround but it ended up being a three-month install. Since going solar, my utility bill has really gone down. Now, the season is over and I'm overproducing energy. I'm gonna get credit because my utility bill last time was like $32.

Signing up with EmPower was done over the phone and the internet and it was easy. Everything worked out with the installation. It took about a day and a half but everything was fine. Going solar has been good so far. We’ve been saving money.

The representative was fabulous and very informative. He was a local guy and I felt very comfortable. We had a couple of meetings, presentations, explanations and emails. The installation team was perfect, wonderful, hardworking and quality people. And they’re happy people to be working for EmPower. Empower is treating their people good and fairly.

After speaking with several different companies, we opted to work with EmPower Solar for our solar panels. Their customer service was great and responsive, and we were very happy with our solar energy. A couple of years later we had EmPower Solay install our Tesla Powerwall for battery backup power. Again, they were easy to work with, and when I have questions, Tara gets back to me ASAP. Cannot ask for more.

We did everything through Zoom calls and online and the reps were great and knowledgeable. I had done a lot of research myself so I was an educated consumer and I had a lot of questions. They gave me the right answers so we took EmPower on board. I spent 43 years in New York City construction. So, I went through the whole proposal analysis that I would have done in construction. The only thing that I didn't like was I never met any of the salespeople face-to-face. But everything was excellent. Once we got everything signed off with the utilities, the process was seamless. EmPower beat their schedule for the installation and the installers did the panels in one day and a half. The whole process was very quick and was done within two months.

The rep that came to my home was excellent. He laid out everything that I needed to know and was very professional. I had called for service in the first couple of months and they sent techs to my home immediately and rectified the issue. Since I have been receiving updates daily and monthly and they send monthly emails to inform me of additional ways to keep my system running well. Very pleased with this company's Customer care personnel and engineering division as they go the extra mile to keep me satisfied!

Great Service. Empower Solar team is very responsive and always available to answer questions. Installation process was smooth and I was regularly kept updated throughout the process. 4 years after the installation my monitoring system stopped providing updates and data and their support team came and replaced the components and everything was covered. I did not had to pay anything.

My experience with the kind people at Empower has been nothing but positive. Their professionalism, courteousness, and amazing Customer service have proven to me over the past few years of what a company should be. They are always there when I have a question and their staff has been truly amazing. I am thrilled with my solar, and I hope if you are considering solar, you only consider Empower. They are definitely the best Company around.

EmPower Solar is a very well-organized firm. They have excellent communication and take responsibility for everything. There was a problem with the town approving what they did. It had to do something with the generator. It wasn't an EmPower Solar thing but still, they fixed it. But they didn't fix it according to the town three times so there was a miscommunication between EmPower and the town inspector. That was irritating. Other than that, they're a good company. I have recommended them to two other people.

I always wanted to have solar. Enrolling with EmPower Solar was okay.

I've used EmPower Solar on another solar project a few years prior and they did everything they needed to do in the time frame they promised. When I looked to do a new project, they were the better priced option, so I had no hesitation going back with them. The reps were always responsive and there was never a time when they didn't respond if I wrote an email or anything. They did the installation in one day and the system works properly. I have an app for the monitoring. I can check how much the system is producing at any time or over the day, week, or month. It's a good app.

EmPower was the most expensive option I had. However, I appreciated that they had the best warranty on their product. We have little kids, and I'm gonna be in this house for at least another 30 years, so the warranty was important. EmPower had a lot of positive reviews on the internet too. That was a big plus for me, and a friend of ours recommended them as well. I priced out with SUNation, NY Solar, and then another company, but to save $2,000 upfront and not have a warranty in 25 years made no sense. Also, EmPower was the only one that if my roof needed replacing, they will remove and re-install the solar panels as part of the warranty.

EmPower Solar came out, looked over everything, and told me what would cost me to do it. They underestimated the condition of the roof, but they took care of that. They're very straight up and honest. The installation was flawless. I got 32 panels and it took a day and a half. One of my recommendations was I didn't wanna see pipes around and they were able to go inside the house and do it that way. EmPower was great. I've told my friends and neighbors to sign up with them.

The gentleman was amazing. He really educated me phenomenally. And then what I did was, I went online and looked for the best solar companies in the area. And SunPower was the company that manufactures the equipment. They have EmPower that comes and puts the installation in. But their guarantee was the best on the market. Their product was one of the newest technology as far as the panels were.

EmPower's sign-up process was good and too easy. We spent a lot of time on it more than we should have, probably spent an hour or less. It was a couple of months from when we signed up to when we got things finalized. It was all very smooth and good. Our problem was with the red tape in the town. Whenever there was a problem and we contacted EmPower, they were pretty responsive and helpful.

The installation was efficient and fast. They were done within exactly a day. The system has been running for three months now. Just from this month, my bill has changed dramatic. Through the summer, it changed but it wasn't that much because of the AC running all day.

It was a great and seamless experience. The installation was better than the average solar company. I had a little bit of input on the aesthetics of it, and they listened, and it was all good. I use the web app and it shows me what I'm producing per day and gives me a historical view, and it also shows from what panels and how each individual panel is producing. So I could tell if there's something in the way of them or if there's some obstruction. I'm saving a significant amount of money per month, and what money I am spending is going towards a loan that will never increase.

My rep was very professional and so was the installation. I called them and they told me the analysis. But I want somebody who can teach me how to use the app. Also, EmPower is very expensive.

The reps from EmPower Solar were thorough and explained from A to Z. If there was something that we needed to redo or revisit, we had four days of Zoom calls with 45 minutes each, just because my wife and I had a lot of questions, and they were very open and weren't putting any pressure on our decision-making. The installation was good. It was explained to us what we should be expecting and the time frames. The installers weren't overpromising and underdelivering. So they were very helpful.

I would happily recommend EmPower Solar to anybody. I had interacted with them a bit professionally. So, I had a positive impression of them already and a trust level there. Their team was professional and efficient. They held my hand through the whole process. They moved it fast. They did what they said they would do, they kept to their timeline, and got it done. It was all very easy. I enjoy following how much energy comes in and out at any time. And I like to be able to see that I'm saving money in real time.

Signing up with EmPower Solar went painless as possible and from start to finish, it was very easy to work with them. They did some initial fact-finding about my house, then they came up with a proposed layout and a proposed cost. Then we worked through that and the process was very simple and straightforward. During the installation, they brought all the equipment and they were very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them. The system's aren't cheap but you get what you pay for.

From start to finish my solar experience with EmPower Solar was one of the most professional, courteous, and on time projects I ever took on. It was a great feeling opening up my first bill from PSEG and seeing that even with a five day heat wave I still sent power to the grid and had an electric bill lower than ever expected. I shopped around pretty carefully for solar installers - I'm glad I went with Empower. I don't know that they were the cheapest but ultimately, they were the most honest, the most helpful and the most attentive in the sales process, and that showed right through installation. I'm very happy with my choice.

I called Empower regarding a small leakage on my ceiling. They promptly schedule a visit to review and assess the issue. Upon their arrival, the team assess and went right to work to fix the issue. These guys are the best. They have done my home and many of my friends homes. Very professional, knowledgeable and clean work. Never heard a complaint about anything or anything having to do with Empower Solar. Not sure what else to say about Empower but all the staff have also been super responsive and easy to work with. The owner is also very accessible.

Everything about the process was well-executed, starting with a diligent, knowledgeable salesperson who thoroughly understood the product and matched to my home needs. Timely, efficient project planning, site review and coordination with town and power utility company. Excellent, problem-free installation by SunPower during a few of the coldest days of the year. On-going enhancements like panel monitoring has provided even greater comfort with my system.

Empower did a great job with the installation of two Powerwall batteries and Span smart panel at my home. The batteries connect to the Span panel, can power the home and can also feed the grid with clean energy as part of a VPP. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend- in fact I already have.

I am a new (since last month) Sunpower customer. One of my panels stopped working after system was installed (within two weeks). I am still going through the very long troubleshooting process, but it is now 3+ weeks and after numerous phone calls and emails, the system is still not working as expected. Panel is down and not producing power. Issue was escalated to the local director, but it seems something is very broken how sunpower is troubleshooting their panels.
