    If I could give negative stars I would! Their customer service has always really sucked but it has hit an all time low ever since they are no longer going to be in charge of child support payments. I had $148.00 of unauthorized charges. I called in to dispute them. They gave me a partial credit of $129.00. At that point I had withdrew the money (I no longer trusted having money on the card). A few days later they took it back and my account went into the negatives. After days of trying to get someone on the line they said they would look into the situation and escalate the issue. Never heard anything back as the weeks go back. All my payments are being garnished and they actually took $100.00 extra dollars - again, I spend a few days trying to get a hold of a representative.

    After HOURS of being on hold and transferred to different departments I finally get to talk to a supervisor. The first time my call dropped. The second time I asked if they can please call me back in case we are disconnected (which we were) but they never called me back. The third time I carefully went through each transaction with supervisors and even they were confused as to why my account was poorly adjusted and handled but as of TODAY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE! IT'S SICKENING that this company could just steal from people like this!!!! I swear the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

    They answer after 1 hour and then to be told to hold for another hour. Asking for my soc sec number just to put me on hold again. My money was stolen and they don't even answer a call! Very upsetting! Money lost because of them.

    I messed up twice trying to transfer money from my child support account to my bank account to pay my rent. I have had 3 agents hang up on me and they are telling me that the funds were successfully transferred which cannot be since I accidentally put my routing number and wiring number instead of my routing number and account number. I have tried for 2 days now to get help and can't.

    I see that this not only happened to me but an unimaginable amount of people, their card is not secure and our funds get hacked into very easily. Like any other bank you can file a claim and get your money back. But unlike other banks they take the money back and say your review has been denied. They take all the funds back without any explanation. They don’t answer the phone, and if they do they have 0 answers for you because “the case has been closed.” They say they can send you a copy but guess what, it never shows up! Surprise surprise there is nothing you can do about it. The local county office can’t help you either because the state chose that company regardless our complaints because they don’t care!! This card is not safe and the company is an incompetent fraud company itself.

    Updated on 09/20/2021: I detest this company. Someone hacked my EPPICard account and stole my child support check transferring my funds from my card to a Paypal account as well as a Go Fund Me account. I have neither PayPal nor Go Fund me accounts. They told me they'd reimburse me after sending in a 'Questionnaire' they sent me. Instead they stole my money and offered me no refund!!! I've called them 17 times last week, which costs $.25 a call. I was no hold 15 of the times for over 1 hour!!!! Twice I was hung up on/disconnected!!!! BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS!!!! They are FDIC insured yet refuse to refund you what was stolen!!! My guess is an employee steals account info and profits nicely!!!

    Original Review: I am a single mother of 3 who just had my Pennsylvania EPPICard hacked. Someone stole over $350 from my EPPICard, leaving me broke with $13.59 to survive on with my children for the next two weeks. A Paypal account and a GoFundMe account robbed my money in small withdrawals over the course of 4 days. Withdraws of $5.01, $14.01, $5.01, $5.19... They did small transactions until I caught it after trying to use my card. EPPICard will ONLY dispute the last 10 transactions over the phone which totals less than $50. They froze my card and I'll receive a new one in 7-10 days, I could expedite the card for $15 but my account doesn't have $15 in it!!!

    So, I have no money, a dispute totaling less that $50 open and they are sending a print out of the last 90 days for me to look over. I'll have to send that back in 7 day after I receive it and fraud claims take approximately 90 days to complete. I was told if the GoFundMe account and PayPal accounts close there's a chance I won't be able to retrieve my money!!!! EPPICard is a RIP OFF!!!! This is HORRIBLE!!!! How are they allowed to operate like this???? Now what???? I'm so upset!!!!

    I received my monthly statement for June, and found numerous fraudulent charges. I immediately cancelled my card and ordered a new one. I reported each charge that was listed on my statement that didn’t belong to me. Nearly all of the fraudulent charges were done from other countries. Some for a penny, multiple charges from Japan, Pakistan, Gibraltar, China, etc. I filled out a service request and submitted it to Way2go. Today I received my new card, downloaded a mobile app for the card, just to find that there were more charges made to the card that was cancelled. This and also realized that there were more charges that were not listed on my statement sent from way2go.

    These charges were only found from opening the statements from the mobile app. When I logged in without the app, just from the way2go program site, these charges are not listed... They are found only from the mobile app, yet are still charged to my account. After an Hour and a half on hold, a way2go rep answered and let me know that my fraudulent charges were denied and there was nothing more that can be done. I explained that I only purchased food 3 times in my home town, and spent 1.00 to retrieve an address from my life .com. I do not purchase anything internationally. They refused to refund my money. I only feed my son, and I was relying on that money to purchase school clothes and shoes for this coming year. They didn’t care.

    My daughter had an Eppicard in which her child support was placed on that card. For about the last two years I thought my daughter's dad was getting behind on the child support but he had not. I am not good on the computer so my daughter was about to turn 18 years old so she helped me to create an eppicard online account so we could take a look at what was happening with the account and to our surprise a couple of different companies have been fraudulently taking money off of my daughter's child support card.

    Eppicard customer service told me to file a fraud claim and I did that. They said they would investigate the claim but they did not. Eppicard said that the investigation could take up to 45 days or more but it only took less than a week for eppicard to tell me that I had some discrepancies in MY STORY. They wrote me and said they would tell me of their findings if I gave them a call. When I called them they kept hanging up on me, charging me each time I called them and then took my social and verified who I was then transferred me to another department and then told me I was not in their system.

    This eppicard company allows their customers to be frauded. If you have any problems they will make you believe they are going to help you but they won't. I have called them so many times but they only care about making money and not about their customers. The last time I checked it was illegal to steal someone's child support money. Eppicard allowed Whereforeclosures.com and Google Pay to take money out my daughter's child support account. I do not advise anyone to use this company but if you are using eppicard you need to pay close attention to your account because eppicard will cheat you and allow you to be cheated.

    Be careful this card nickels and dimes you to death!! I called the number trying to reach customer service and it kept prompting me to enter my card number and pin, well each time I did this it charged me 50 cents so it cost me $1.50 to speak to an agent. Also I ordered an expedited card and the agent did not tell me that the $15 expediting charge to get the card wouldn't work on weekends, I was supposed to get the card in two days but instead it took 4 and they still charged me and refuse to refund me this fee!! Eppicard is an immoral company that should be closed. They take money from people that barely get any income and don't lose a wink of sleep doing it!! New Mexico should do better to their people than choosing a crooked bank like Wells Fargo to handle these funds. I'm only giving them one star because the website requires one.

    The state of Georgia uses Eppicard as the child support credit care company. I am not able to log in to my account online. I tried to use the online service to obtain my user login, it can't identify me. I tried setting up the card, only for it to tell me I already exist. Then I try to call, and there isn't an option to speak with anyone in customer service. I have activity on my card that I can't check and can't reach anyone to assist. My taxpayer dollars are going to waste on this company.

    This is in regards to my NJ Eppicard for child support. I have had 3 seperate incidents of fraud charges each about a year apart from one another. Most of them occurred in southern states while I was at my home in NJ. There were also a few of what looked to be online gaming charges. Each time I've had to go through the whole ordeal of filling out the paperwork and explaining which charges were fraudulent. The last time this happened I asked them why there's no chip on the card. I told them I have like 10 other credit and debit cards and every single one has a chip and I have never had fraudulent charges on any of my other cards. They said there should be a chip and they would send a new one. Well, the new one didn't have a chip either.

    The last time there were fraudulent charges one of the employees I spoke to was extremely rude. He said maybe it was one my kids using it. I was literally in shock that he was basically accusing my kids of using my card without my permission. I, of course, naturally defended them because I know they would never do that to me. And how did my kids go down south to use my card I asked him? I hung up and called back to speak to a manager and told them what had happened and she said she was so sorry that that employee would be dealt with. I told them I'm never using the card ever again and if I do it will only be at a bank to withdraw the cash directly. I said this is absolutely ridiculous that the card has no chip and this is the only card I ever have problems with.

    Anyways each time I am always reimbursed but one of the last conversations I had with someone in the fraud department when I called to see why my money was taking so long was an eye opener. I told him I had been waiting for a long time for the reimbursement and he said he would look into it. He asked for my username and password. I thought about it for a second and hung up. After getting off the phone with him I didn't give it too much thought until a couple months later. I'm so glad I never gave him my password because now the more I think about the more I think there is something going on internally there. I change my password all the time now but I wonder how many people gave them their password and this is why they're having problems.

    Honestly I don't remember if I did the first 2 times it happened several years ago but it's quite possible they asked me for my password and I may have given it to them. Now I'm older and wiser and I realize that no one should ever ask for my password ever even if they work in the fraud department. I sincerely hope they look into this company and I hope this helps someone else who may be in the same situation.

    I have been having trouble with this card since August of last year. I can't log in into their website. I have called several times and nobody seems to know anything. Money was deposited into the account 4 days ago. Again, I tried to log in to transfer the money and I was not able to. I went to a 7-Eleven to try to withdraw money and it didn't allow me to withdraw any money, I kept on getting this message, "Unable to process this trans at this time." I went to my bank and I couldn't withdraw money either, at my bank ATM I got this other message, "There was a technical problem completing your transaction. Please try again later."

    I try to avoid using my bank ATM because it charges me $3 per transaction. Unfortunately it happens it is a Sunday. I called the EPPICard 1800 customer service number. It tells me the money is there, but I can't withdraw it. After reading all these reviews I am freaking out that I won't be able to withdraw the money. This is so inconvenience. This company is terrible and there should be an easier way for us to get the money so we can use it.

    I have fraudulent activity done with my Wi Child Support card. Over $1600 was taken. I didn't receive a self addressed envelope. Had to mail in 18 pages of transactions. One of the companies (Fingerhut) refunded one charge & apparently because of that they stopped their investigation. I called earlier today was told when someone refunds money that most likely stopped the investigation. I said that makes no sense. They transferred to the fraud unit. Sat on hold over 30 mins. Nobody picked up. I was working. My break was over. Now calling back to have someone explain why they stopped the investigation & how to get my money back. I've been on hold over 45 mins yet still waiting with no answer. This is horrible. Any person who has fraudulent activity should have to go through this horrible process to get their money back. NO HELP WHATSOEVER.

    This is the company the government trusts to handle child support & alimony. For all we know it might be internal as I can see I'm not the only person going through this. To make matters worse the statements they printed and sent to me show my new card # that hasn't even been activated. So the officer I've been working with can't even show proof of the transactions because the statements show a card I haven't activated not the original card that the fraudulent activity was actually done on.

    Eppicard is a 3rd party vendor hired by the state of PA and other states to administer electronic payments on a Master card to individuals receiving child support and social security benefits. On date December 4th, 2020 it came to my attention after attempting to withdraw funds using my Eppicard that there were insufficient funds. I called Eppicard 800 number to review transactions and it was at this time that I found out that my account was compromised. A total of $1600 was stolen. I contacted EPPICARD to report fraud.

    I was forwarded 3 weeks later a form with fraudulent transactions asking me to list which transactions were mine and transactions that were not mine. I thought that this was an open and shut case because clearly you can see on the transaction detail report that it’s a case of obvious fraud. For example, there were 26 transaction at one ATM where the criminals checked balance on card and withdrew small amounts of money each transaction. Most of the transactions happened in the state of Georgia, however, transactions was also made in Gettysburg Pa. Well, I work full time, run a business, and raise 3 children in Philadelphia, PA. Clearly, I could not be in 2 places at one time, it's geographically and physically impossible.

    Initially, I mailed the requested documents and was told they were not received after 5 weeks. At this time, I was given a fax number to forward documents. After 3 weeks, I contacted EPPICARD fraud department for status of the case and was told my case was DENIED due to conflicting information. I was shocked and enraged.

    Reading reviews on Consumer Affairs, I found there are almost identical cases, all around the same time of when my card was compromised. This problem is not isolated to the state of Pennsylvania. I am extremely disappointed in the state of PA that they continue to do business with a company that do not protect hard earned taxpayer money that is for the most vulnerable constituents. EPPICARD is stealing money. These cases are obvious fraud and cases are denied. My ex-husband busted his butt to make payments after being laid off due to COVID-19 and this is the best our local government can do for us. I have contacted a lawyer and my local state representative office. I am waiting for the denial letter from EPPICARD so I can forward to my lawyer. For victims of Eppicard, I am interested in speaking with you. We need to stand together to put pressure on state governments to fire Eppicard. I never felt so violated in my life.

    I was charged over 100 dollars by Google help pay with no information on for what product or anything like that. I called and of course no answer just as I read others reviews. I do not appreciate the chaos this is causing our people who work hard to struggle. I did not purchase over 100 dollars on google. I have a password and pin protection. The charges show up on my eppicard bank statement but not on my google account transaction history. I called google to look into this matter now it's playing the waiting game with companies that scam people for money if they did this to a few people imagine who else is out there going through the same thing. LET US GET TOGETHER AND STAND STRONG TO GET OUR MONEY BACK..

    My Eppicard child support card was recently involved in fraud charges. I did not initially see it and when I finally did I contacted the fraud dept., they then sent me a form to fill out and to list the charges that were not mine. I did that and they credited my child support account the few hundred dollars that were missing. Well, they recently took it back without any explanation and me having to reach out to them once I noticed my account was in the negative. I was not told I needed to file a police report but am now being suggested that if I do not agree with their findings to file one. Why would I be told that and now have to file one? And if I was the one who committed the fraud why would I now have filed my police report with NJ state police. This card is for my children! And once it is finally credited my children's money this card is gone!!!

    It is impossible to speak with an investigator because their letter was very vague. They do not accept calls. SMH. Sad that I have to go through this when the person/s who did the fraudulent charges did not have to prove they were me. You truly are guilty until you prove your own innocence. Very sad and not much hope with companies like toying with your money.

    My PA Eppicard was just scammed for thousands of dollars. Someone used my card at Giant supermarkets in Camp Hill, PA and Harrisburg PA. I live nowhere near there. After a few large purchases, they even withdrew $500! It happened the day after I received a very large deposit... and I saw this happened to others too. Like someone knew! Inside job!??! I called Eppicard and was told to file a police report and send it back with fraud form. After reading these reviews it looks like my complaint may be denied?!!! How is that possible!??

    There is no reason why I should have to wait 5 days for my deposit to post. This company should be shut down. We need to work together to make a huge deal about it because judging from my own experience & the reviews I have read this company is worse than anything I could imagine. It is unrealistically horrible & actually scary that this is being allowed. I say class action lawsuit and company forced to make immediate changes or shut down.

    I have been calling nonstop since December to dispute a overdraft in the amount of $117.28. According to Eppicard Walmart issued a refund to me in that amount on December 3, 2020 and took it back on December 20th which overdrew my account for the first time in 7 years since I got the card. When you call you Have to speak to customer service who can do nothing but transfer you to a supervisor and leave you on hold for 2-3 hours literally. When you finally get through they hang up and blame technical issues when you call back. I’ve asked for a manager multiple times as the supervisors don’t know anything and they have yet to put me on the phone with one.

    They were supposed to mail me a dispute form it is now January 12th and I still haven’t received it. The reviews on this company are correct! I plan to go to the courthouse to ask if I can receive my child support through any other way than this company. I also plan to talk to local Congressman to advise them to look into this company as their practice is fraudulent.

    Not only did they fail to file my disputes when I submitted them they have been extremely rude and volatile towards me. I called back to check them and that's when I had to resubmit them and they denied them. These charges were blatantly fraudulent. Ordering pizzas in other states and using Facebook pay to someone I don't know. I've spent hours upon hours on hold and speaking with incompetent employees that all give me different answers. I've escalated these charges 3 or 4 times without any investigator calling me to make a determination.

    Today I found out they closed my escalations because I have failed to provide any more information regarding these charges. Unbelievable....How can a company exist with such unethical practices. Not only exist but represents our government assistance. I've never been treated so terribly by a company that is supposed to represent me and my interests. I was the one stolen from and now they've turned their backs on me without my voice being heard.

    I have been on hold trying to get a live person to get some answers as to why I can not use my card online, use it in another state, or find an ATM to use it with. This is getting ridiculous. Then they charge for even attempting to use an ATM. Why would a state even use a company like this?

    I have the PA Eppi Card for my child support in Philadelphia. I have been calling them for over a month in regards to 2 withdraws that were done on my account with the card that I still have in my wallet. There was a withdraw on 9/5 right after my child support went in for $243.75 and then on 9/18 in Camp Hill, PA right after my child support went in again for $228.00 in Gettysburg, PA. I have never been in either city and again their saying a mac withdraw but I still have the card. They have left me on hold for 1 1/2 hours and then hung up on me, another time for over an hour and they hung up on me again. I am on hold now again for 42:05 and still have spoke to no one in fraud.

    I receive child support on a New Jersey Eppicard by MasterCard. It is December 6 2020. I have been calling New Jersey Eppicard by MasterCard since November 3 2020. I have called nearly every day between these two dates with an average hold time of 2+ hrs. Each call required me to speak to a customer service representative. Then a supervisor. And finally someone in the fraud department.

    I live in Canada! The card was mailed to Canada. Yet New Jersey Eppicard by MasterCard has NO idea how to make my Child Support available to me. I have never in the past had to deal with this issue. I have always lived in Canada and always had access to my Child Support yet now maybe because we are in Covid. Funds are not accessible. Those calls are recorded yet no one has lost their job for not knowing how to do their job. I have been hung up on and each phone call given different information. No one there knows their job. It is unacceptable to not make a situation like this not a priority.

    Child support is to help with the financial needs of children. How can that happen when someone can’t access their child support for two months' deposits. Very sad! Pathetic customer service. No knowledge of their rolls within the company. MasterCard should drop this company and New Jersey child support should use a different method for international people. New Jersey Eppicard by Master card is PATHETIC!

    On October 9, my card was declined and I KNEW there was money on the card. I checked my balance and it was $2.32. I looked at the transactions and there were FIVE charges for $100 each to Apple. I do not use an Iphone, I use Android. No one in my home has an Apple ID and my card has not left my possession at any time. I called Apple and they told me that they could actually tell me the Apple ID that made the charges and confirm that it was my card, but because of privacy issues they could not tell me who made the charges, but they would tell Eppicard if I opened an investigation with them. So I did. They sent me paperwork, told me to get a police report and send it all back to them, which I did.

    Ten days later they issued a provisional credit to my account for $500. They assured me they would be investigating it and Apple would be contacted to find out who used my card, and that I would be kept informed of the progress of the investigation. Well, this morning I woke up to my account being $300 in the negative because Eppicard posted a $500 provisional debit to my account!! With no warning, no explanation, nothing. I called and was on hold for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Finally got the fraud department and she was explaining to me that Mastercard has now opened an investigation, and she was explaining to me how I could get in touch with them when the CALL DROPPED! I am now on the phone on hold again for 48 minutes. I am contacting someone about a class action lawsuit against these people. I have seen so many instances of fraud on this card with absolutely no help to the person that was frauded in any way.

    I have been lied to you cursed at hung up on and just got put on hold for about 50 hours by EPPICard and still no resolution. I just keep getting the runaround every single day. On November 2nd a provisional credit of $1,000 got approved and it never got posted to my account though. So when I call talk to them about it all they say is quote, "Well that's weird. It was supposed to who got in your account. I don't know why it hasn't so we're going to escalate this and management will call you back within 48 hours or have it posted to your account sorry for your inconvenience." So that was on November 2nd and every day since and I have not received one phone call or anything credited to my account not to mention.

    So Not only was I frauded $1,042 but now as a direct result of EPPICard lying to me I very well may become homeless since my landlord thinks I'm just lying to her my phone has gotten shut off and a few other things late fees stuff like that. All in all because of them I am now at least $600 in more debt and going. Mind you I have never done anything to this company to get treated like this. I don't know how people can do that to other people and just not care or even work for a company that they were letting us happen. I'm exhausted.

    If I don't get this resolved within a day or two I'm just going to give up on it. Call the state attorney, the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Financial people, I think that's the right name and put it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and my local news station. That is if they'll accept the story or not. Maybe after they see all the other bad reviews all over the internet they will, let me tell you there's thousands of them people saying that if your card did this to them also. Actually there's even a class action lawsuit for in Georgia where this plus we took place and the people who filed the claim won the lawsuit with the other three hundred and something people that joined. So you would think after all that they would make sure not to ever do that again but apparently not apparently they make more money screwing people over then the amount that they spend fighting lawsuits so it's still in their eyes justifies doing this.

    I've never been able to understand how people can be so greedy. Just Escapes Me. Obviously those people have never in a real struggle a real struggle or I doubt they would do this to other people.     When attempting to log into my account to check my balance I learned my account was frozen and I couldn't access my account. I called there so called customer service department only to find myself on hold waiting to speak with a live person for four hours twenty six minutes, absolutely ridiculous. Then was told I have to email two forms of ID and wait 24-48 hours for a response from the fraudulent office. How are these idiots allowed to hold our money and tell us we have to wait?? My advice take your money from these people they are crooks. Open an online account ( prepaid) and have your funds direct deposit, anything is better then Eppicard. I cannot believe they are allowed to do this to people. Incompetent crooks.

    If fraud happened on your child support card the EPPICARD SERVICES will not conduct a very good investigation. Someone stole over 1,000 from my account while the card was with me. I'm baffled to yall have video of who used the card. When I called to cancel my phone as I was talking to the person they told me my card was trying to be used that very moment so I can't you guys tell this is fraud?!. My best advice is get everything deposited in your checking account. Eppicard isn't safe.

    As with every review I have read, it seem to be a common problem with our cards being hacked. When I was finally able to log into the site I noticed money missing. Called and spent hours on hold. I still have no card and it has been a month!

    Using Eppicard services was the worst decision California child support ever made! I am elated that their contract has been voided and rightfully so. I received a refund for a purchase made with the card (my first mistake was using this card to make purchases), I was told by Tiffany ID #: ** that they would need to issue my refund by check. Okay, sure no problem! She then proceeded to tell me that it would take 60 days to receive a check since the company was having “disputes with a lot of customers.” I am not sure how that is my problem or should affect my refund, this is not a dispute over money, this is a simple refund of a previous purchase.

    She then proceeded to tell me that they want to “cut all the checks at once.” Once again, I’m not sure why or how other customers' disputes are or should affect my refund. Needless to say her attitude, tone and not to mention the heavy breathing in the phone were just rude! I am so happy that California wised up from using this company. They have been a complete nightmare to deal with. Their employees are ill-informed, rude, and unable to articulate their thoughts in a professional manner.

    I am unable to access my money. Transactions are constantly declined when Several thousand $$$ in the account. Since last week, customer service indicates that there is an issue with the cards getting declined because of a “system” issue. The call center rep cannot give any useful info regarding a resolution. And there isn’t a way to transfer funds to another bank account. I need my money NOW! Is Comerica cash poor and intentionally holding our funds? This is outrageous. That is my money and I want access to it immediately.

    As far as I am concerned, this banking system employed by government agencies is committing theft by deception. My child support payments are being deposited directly to this account and I am unable to access them due to a bogus "fraud" lock and there is no live customer service, email, or point of contact available to rectify this. They are simply stealing people's money through deceptive practices. I have contacted the Pennsylvania Attorney General. This is beyond outrageous!
