This is Mike and Grace **. We want to give the highest praise we can to our loan officer Michelle ** as we were very scared. We'd seen the ads on tv it sounded too good to be true. A loan which you wouldn't have huge house payments which you could pay if you had the funds to do so. A loan where people really do care about you and your needs. We were so worried that my son wouldn't get his inheritance. After Michelle thoroughly explained in great detail the pros and cons which every loan has. The pros outweighed the cons. Michelle did everything in her power to make this happen for us. Of course there was K aren't the notary who came to our house to sign everything. Michelle's boss who also did a great deal and Abby underwriting. There is no doubt in our minds that Mutual of Omaha stands out among the rest. Thank you.

I was familiar with Reverse Mortgages. I used a reverse mortgage to help take care of my husband for more than 10 years after a family tragedy. When he passed, and I sold our home, I was happy to get the tax deduction and was surprised that I was able to move on financially. At almost 80 years old I investigated the possibility to do it again. I was amazed at how the loans had changed, and had more to offer today than with the loans of 15 years ago.

I would like to personally thank Jim ** and Terry ** for all their work in making this happen. We decided to pursue a reverse mortgage, not out of need, but due to a couple of factors. We own an upscale equestrian property located in the horse capital of the world, Marion county, Florida, and in one of the more prestigious towns, and in a gated equine community Which we bought and paid cash for 10 years ago when we retired and moved from up north. Over the last 10 years, inflation has gone wild and the maintenance on a property like this is becoming more difficult as we have gotten older.

Alex has a great voice for phone work. He was able to explain things that I did not understand about reverse mortgages. He also was able to understand me. He showed considerable empathy which I think is a very important quality to have for this type of work.

Thank you for all your patience and assistance in this process. Although we ran into unexpected delays and problems along the way. We would do it all over again. Travis and Diego went out of their way. They always responded to our phone calls.

Better stay away if your hope is to get something done in less than 6 mo. Also be ready to show your underwear as if you are requiring a mortgage on your own house. You own the asset, not them. They have not figured this out yet. Five fingers down.

I was overjoyed with the entire process from start to finish. Billy ** was my first contact. He explained the process in detail and when I had questions he would answer me in easy to understand terms. He was very friendly and helpful. Billy made the entire process easy. Diego was the second contact and he was also very friendly and helpful. I knew where we were in the process from start to finish. When I had questions, Billy or Diego, sometimes both, were there to answer within an hour usually. The locals they hired for appraisal and closing were also great.
