    I would have given them a 5 star review except for their rewards program. I have never been able to redeem my reward points ever. There is always something wrong. There is no bar code or it’s expired. The employees don’t even know anything about the rewards program either. Corporate seems to love sending emails says don’t forget you have rewards but they’re always expired. Other than that I love Pet Supplies Plus. Great store in Jersey Village. Super nice staff. Store is always clean and well stocked. This would have been a 5 star review except for the wonky rewards program.

    The store on Pennsylvania Ave Lansing Mi has rude employees. I have put up with it for about a year. Today finally had enough. Snide comments, and inconsiderate. Waited 15 minutes to check out. Clerk turned off light and left saying nothing and expected me to move to other full line. I will spend my $400 a month somewhere else now.

    One star is being very generous. Online ordering is horrible, rain checks not given for items advertised but not available. I am totally done with this store. Fish bought there die within days. Employees are very young and not managed appropriately.

    I placed an order for autoship on the website and clicked a box for 35% off that stated "sign up for autoship at checkout and save up to 35% today". Nothing mentioned about having to be a new customer. I emailed corporate and included a screenshot of the "box" for the autoship option and was told I was a previous autoship customer in 2021 (!!) and wasn't eligible for this; NOWHERE on this page does it state needing to be a new subscriber. I'll happily choose another store to purchase my dog food. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? This is so misleading!

    Cancelled my dog's grooming appointment upon walking in. They did not contact me. Drove 35 minutes, will never return, they lost a good customer and a great tipper. Felt like I got slapped in the face and they didn't seem to care at all not even the manager.

    For Black Friday they advertise "Bogo on thousands of products" except literally everything I needed for my cat and rabbit, it was full price. The treats I bought for my rabbit I knew felt a little hard and crunch but thought maybe my rabbit will still eat it. She didn't. So I brought them back to ask for an exchange. Going the the product I needed they were all hard and crunchy again. I don't believe their products are fresh. They are not like that from Petland. I grabbed a bag of a different treat but same brand to show the texture difference.

    I asked if I can exchange or get a refund due to 30 days not satisfied. They told me no because I didn't have the receipt from Black Friday. Today is December 16th. I said, "I have an account with you. Can you look it up?" And they said "the policy just changed where you need the receipt or we can't accept it". Like what??? I would understand if I didn't have an account but there's literal proof I bought this from your store under 30 days ago. Waste of my money, time, and gas.

    Every time I visit the store they never have anything I need, I come every two weeks for crickets and I always call beforehand, I always ask if the store has small crickets in stock, I get told yes then when I get there they don't have any. Tonight I called and asked the person answered and said, "Yeah I'm pretty sure we do," I said, "Thanks" and came about 30 minutes after calling and they have a sign “Sorry we are out.” The same person that had told me they were in stock was just standing there on their phone, it's really inconvenient for me to make multiple trips a week because they can't just go and check when I call.

    I went in to purchase an item that was shown to be in stock on their website but unfortunately was not in stock. The manager offered me a more expensive item at the lower cost AND honored the coupon that I had as well. I really appreciated their willingness to work with me!

    I was scheduled for a 9:30AM appointment for my dog when I got there, The attitude of the three girls were absolutely horrible. They looked and acted very unprofessionally. This groomer actually was giving me a very hard time about shot records when I definitely gave them shot records so they resolved that issue by blaming the other groomer by name which who I know and was a very good groomer. Perhaps she should have addressed the records BEFORE my appt. And I felt she was being very unprofessional. All I wanted was my dog groomed and got nothing but a hard time. She then proceeded to put my dog in a crate, and I told her my dog cannot go in a crate. He gets high anxiety and she said, "He’s fine." "Really you know my dog better than I do!" "Well then I can’t groom your dog just like that."

    I would never recommend going there because they look and act highly unprofessional. They all look like they just rolled out of bed, and if you love your dog, as much as I love mine, you’ll find a competent groomer and it’s sure not pet supplies plus in Austintown. It scares me to think I almost left my dog there! Lauren was amazing and I miss her terribly. She was a very professional groomer, unlike what they’re saying about her. The manager didn’t seem to care that I was not coming back. I have been a pet supply plus customer for many years. I see good help really is hard to find!

    I have been trying for more than 1 hour to complete a purchase online and the system has been extremely slow, when I finally was able to hit check out took additional 10 minutes to get a “checkout system failure”. This is not the first time this is happening to me. Online service is the worst.

    They are not very good about price matching. Price match is about matching a competitors ADVERTISED price. They will not accept sale price even though it is advertised. I felt like I was being interviewed when asking for price match, had to spend quite a bit of time standing at register for the manager to accept any. No luck. I will not be going back there. Amazon it is.

    Refuse to meet Petsmart prove on the Zupreem bird food and refused to meet price of Kaytee unless I could show price on only four years websites to watch. Wtf. I was informed had to bring my tablet to the store. Wtf.

    I’m only giving you this information regarding my health because it ties into my experience. I was diagnosed with a rare disease back in early 2017 called Relapsing Polychondritis and it deteriorates cartilage and leads to my numerous autoimmune disorders. And had been bedridden for over 5 years!!! This was my first experience out of the house due to some kind of miracle in my experience providing motor skills & mental awareness. Anyway, the way I look and inability to communicate made me terrified to be seen. Well, this was the best experience I could have ever dreamed of for my first time out: The knowledge the whole staff had was a perfect 10 (I’m a former retail manager so I know what it takes to deal with difficult customers while remaining genuinely happy and still be helpful). So, to say I had an amazing experience is an understatement. This was a team I dreamed of back in the day!

    Jake and Jamie are the two names I remember the most. Especially Jake in this visit. He made me laugh which actually help me forget about my appearance. Then, he even grabbed the cans of cat food so I wouldn’t have to. I honestly wanted to hug them all! (No worries I didn’t lol.) But that alone speaks volumes! To top it off, the food he recommended was spot on one of my cats who wouldn’t eat. Do you know how that made me feel??!

    It was outstanding service and just a very welcoming environment. You could feel the love they have for animals which made even more blown away. I could write a book about how this specific store (East Hanover) not only got my sweet little kitty to eat again but gave me the confidence I needed desperately by simply being nice and not judging me by the way I look. Like so may others. And the genuine vibe gave me some hope that there are still good people out there. Years of being treated like a freak by doctors because this disease is so rare and starts of like an invisible disease. It was horrific. Jake & Jamie could teach them how “being a good human“ is done.

    I tried to exchange a dog harness, I did not have the receipt and they were not able to find the harness on the computer. So she decided to charge me for the correct size, keep the one I had already paid for (incorrect size) and not say anything. I checked my receipt and I questioned her, she said she had to charge me. I asked for my money back and I would keep the one that was the incorrect size. We have done a lot of business with Pet Supplies in the past, but I will not step foot into another store. You need to hire people that know what they are doing.

    I have a gift card for Pet Supplies Plus that was for a return after my son's dog died (amount $25.98). The card was still attached to the holder and had not been used. It was issued before Pet Supplies Plus was sold/purchased in 2021 but they should still have to honor the gift card. I tried using the card recently and they said the number on the card wasn't valid. I tried checking the balance and was also told the number on the card was not valid. Clearly the number on the card should be a valid number since the card has never been used. I guess if you have gift cards issued before the 2021 purchase of Pet Supplies Plus they are no longer valid.

    I recently took my adorable 10-pound, one-year-old Malshi puppy to the Sheboygan store for grooming. He's known for his incredibly friendly and lovable nature, a quality that everyone who meets him acknowledges. However, to my dismay, I received a call stating that they were unable to complete the grooming because the groomer found it unsafe. The only explanation I can come up with is that they didn't use the regular restraint normally used by groomers, and it appears my playful puppy was not given the patience he needed during the session. Despite sensing the groomer's bad mood, I decided to proceed with the appointment due to the difficulty in finding available grooming slots.

    Regrettably, my puppy returned traumatized from the experience, and even after two months, I still can't brush or comb him due to the emotional distress caused during the grooming session. What adds to my disappointment is that the store has not taken any responsibility for their employee's actions, leaving me disheartened. I feel a responsibility to share this experience, as I wouldn't want any other precious puppy to endure such treatment. The lack of accountability and response from the store's ownership only compounds my disappointment. To potential buyers, please be cautious and consider this as a warning before making any decisions.

    We wanted to take our dog for its first professional grooming and wanted a local non corporate experience. Wag and Wash is owned by Pet Supplies Plus the largest chain of pet supply stores in the nation with less than stellar reviews. We called and made an appointment and asked what was included, we were told one of the things they do is clean the dogs ears. This was important to us.

    When we arrived to the store we did not even get inside when the owner opens the door and says we are backed up about 20 minutes we can put you on a waitlist. No greeting or asking what brings you in. We then said well we have an appointment and responds oh let me check, it took 5 to 6 minutes and someone came to get our dog. They put her in a cage which was the first time for her so we hung around approx. 10 minutes to see how she would respond. After 10 minutes with them working on other dogs, we went next door to shop.

    Her appointment was at noon and at 12:39 we get a call your dog will be ready in 15 minutes. we got there in 5 the groomer saw us and brought our dog out. When we got home she was laying on her side and i could see her ears were not cleaned. I got a cotton tab wet and wiped her ears, see the attached picture. Called the groomer and she says we won't put q-tips in her ears so we can't get what's deep down. I did not use a q-tip and only cleaned with my pointer finger took all of 2 minutes that's just one ear.

    I called the owner Mike who was apologetic, seemed concerned and wanted to look into it. My wife got a message they called so I returned the call. Mathew said Mike is gone be he is aware of the situation and can help. I asked him what his role is and he said he is the general manager. He explained they reviewed the video and the groomer could have done a better job. He also stated we were there for 55 minutes. When we called and Mike both said a grooming should take an hour. I said we were there 55 minutes or the grooming was 55 minutes. He said he did not know because he did not look at the video.

    I said we dropped her at noon and she was in a cage waiting 15 minutes later and we picked her up at 12:45 so maybe 20 or 30 minutes and her ear is filthy. Mathew continued to talk over me to inform me other places charge extra for nail clipping and ear cleaning. I explained I did not take her to another place I took her to you and was told it was included. I said I paid $60 dollars my dog to get groomed, she is short haired so it did not even need to be trimmed. He then told me again where he worked before they charged extra. He kept going cutting me off. And I kept saying Mathew can I talk to which he responds well you don't want to hear what I have to say so we are done and hangs up.

    I hope this review helps you make an informed decision on to what you might expect. I always say a business really defines itself on how they respond to an issue, I know that things happen which I understand. To sum it up very unprofessional. The employees were great, very friendly. I don't like writing reviews like this and would have preferred to settle this without going to this extent.

    DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!! THE MANAGER IS NEGLECTING ANIMALS! I stopped in for cat food this evening and went back to look at the fish like I always do. I seen a stand-alone tank with a fish that looked partially alive. The MANAGER (Reagan) told me that they were a breeding pair of cichlids and that he was happy it was happening to them because a pair of breeders are supposedly hard on the tanks. I asked what was wrong with them and he said the heaters were not working. (It's a pet store. This is a very very poor excuse and animal neglect. They should have heaters.)

    My boyfriend and I had been in a couple weeks prior and looked at these fish. We remarked at how sweet they were. The manager asked me if I wanted the fish. I went up to take a closer look and the one in the front of the tank was dead from what looks like Ich. It was COVERED IN IT!!! THIS WAS GOING ON FOR QUITE SOME TIME! I called my boyfriend to see if he would take them. I went looking for the other fish. The other fish was hiding in a rock and also covered in Ich. Once we realized that the one was dead and the other was hiding because its mate was dead in front of it. I was horrified.

    I was on the phone with my boyfriend and turned around and said "I have to leave" this is horrible. I turned and walked upfront with my cat food completely horrified at how they take care of their fish and the manager came up and said he had the right to refuse service and if I didn't leave he would call the cops. I left. I won't be back. I have been a customer of theirs for many years.

    There is NO reason for a pet shop to be letting fish die in their store that's open for business. This is animal neglect. They should have been treated for ich and quarantined into a different tank with a sign that said they were not for sale. Most likely they got the Ich from unclean tanks and straight-up neglect. And to not have a warmer in the tank? It's a pet store. They sell tank heaters. Everyone knows cichlids need warmer water than goldfish.

    This review is related to the rewards program that is offered for all members of Pet Supplies Plus. I'm a member since 2018 and the rewards program has not been honored. I supposed to receive a free bag of dog's food for each 10 bags purchased but so far I have received 0 bags. If I consider all the 20lbs food bags that I purchased so far, I should had received 2 or 3 bags already. I can only assume this "rewards" program is a SCAM and the corporate office needs to do something about this.

    Greedy Corporate Interest - Buy From The Local Mom/Pop Who Appreciate You. Now on its third owner in three years, their interest is to squeeze every dollar they can with complete disregard for the customer. They are the worst and do not care. So here is my experience from their Black Friday offering. I placed an order for two bags of dog food which I made payment and received confirmation. When I received notice to pick up the order I had gone to the store to do so and noticed there was only one bag. I inquired where the other bag was and the employee indicated that is all they had in stock. He said the other bag would come off of my credit card that was charged. I mention that I prefer to pick up the other bag when it comes in at the Black Friday price. He said sure and made a note to leave with the manager.

    The following day I received an email indicating that the bag I picked up was charged at full retail price. I called the store and the manager, April, said there's nothing she can do for coupons or digital orders. I then called corporate who said she will SEE if she could have the store provide the Black Friday price on the bag I picked up, however there's nothing they can do about the second bag. So I have been charged the original Black Friday price for two bags plus the bag I picked up for some reason is now charged at the full retail price. It is a shady operation and have no care for the customer and nor to right a wrong. Will never do business with them again.

    I went to the Pet Supplies Plus location in Waukesha, Wisconsin to give my dog a bath. The bath area looked as though it had not been cleaned in days. The baths were filled with hair from previous baths and the floor was filthy. Also the dryer hose was broken and there was no hot water for the pets. Talked to one employee and she said it was not her job to clean it. The manager never showed his/her face. Also the water container for dogs to take a drink was filthy and full of dirt. Very sorry to see this.

    I took my Teacup Yorkie to Pet Supplies Plus for a full grooming & gland cleaning. I told the groomer how I wanted my baby hair around face low cut but not too low, don't cut her bangs or ponytail...I go back to pick her up bangs cut, ponytail cut. The groomer Sommer said she didn't cut it when you could clearly see it was freshly cut. The body didn't look as if it was cut at all. Maybe a little taking off the body but still had lots of hair around butt area and legs. I talked to the groomer. She says, "Oh I'm sorry. I'm new." If she didn't know what she was doing she shouldn't have never touched her or been left alone to cut. I am pissed off to the max and the fact that she lied about the cut now my baby hair is messed up cause no one was there to fix it and I don't want them to touch her cause I don't trust them now. A bad experience. How can this be fixed..Mad customer.

    $25 per card got me 5 washes and I ALWAYS purchased something while I was there. They DOUBLED the cost to $50 per card which is outrageous and no longer makes sense financially. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

    Purchased a guinea pig back in April. He was sick within couple days. The store helped me. Purchased another one from the same store because he was lonely and we figured we give him a friend. Within 3 weeks the second guinea pig - developed RINGWORM where my daughter who is 5 got it so did I. He also developed a lump on his neck. I took him to the vet. Doctor suggested I return him and/or seek help for him from the store. He need a surgery. And I already spent so much money at vet. Went back to the store the same day and it looks like they cannot help me. Emailed corporate and still no answer. The worst experience ever. I hope corporate sees this message here! THEY SELL SiCK ANIMALS.

    I purchased two Angel fish for my established aquarium from Pet Supplies Plus in Champaign, Il store #0185. The next day I discovered one of the Angel fish was dead, so I called the store to determine if I needed to bring the dead fish in as proof to get a replacement. I was then told by the manager that no returns or exchanges are allowed. I have a picture of the dated receipt alongside the dead fish which should be proof enough. She insisted that they were unable and unwilling to make good on the fish nor issue a refund of the purchase price. I will not be spending my money at this store again. We have two other options in this area and I have never had a bad experience with either of them.

    The first time they delivered some items were wrong but they were on time. This second time I ordered yesterday, and here it is late the next day, no delivery. I called, but just got flimsy excuses. Cancelled order, but the girl was snotty about it. Will never buy anything from them ever again.

    THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Maybe because it is a franchise, and they really don't care about customers. The San Antonio location on Nacogdoches Rd. doesn't even deserve one star! Used to like the place because it was the NEIGHBORHOOD pet store but noticed that they always have different people working there. They obviously can't hold on to good people and only have the least experienced 20 somethings with total lack of customer service running the place!

    Had the most AWFUL experience with Mgr of Pet Grooming who has a total LACK of CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shared the experiece with the very young store Manager, who practicallly rolled his eyes as I was telling the story and thought that defending the his friend/Pet groomer was more important. TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PETS ELSEWHERE!

    It's a good store, just not enough products for my size dog. I have a St. Bernard and they never have leases or harnesses that fit him. The treats are never big enough either. I just want something that will make my dog happy.

    The store is very clean, well stocked, helpful staff, also has the pet clinic which I use and find hlepful, but not sure that it is as much less than the vet's office. It used to be more inexpensive. The dog foods are reasonably priced but the treats are quite pricey and I do not purchase treats there unless they are on clearance.

    Highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus in Cranston. Their shelves are always stocked and prices are good but sales are even better. Most notable is the customer service. Staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about merchandise. No question goes unanswered and assistance is always provided. All employees clearly appear to be animal lovers. Always a pleasure to stop in for my dog supplies!!

    The store is set up well and easy to navigate. The employees are always helpful and considerate. The choice of pet food brands is incredible and they also carry a locally made dog food that is excellent. There is a large selection of cat food too. The rabbits and ferrets and other pets have lots of choices too. When I come to buy dog food an employee always offers to take it to my car. That is fabulous. Last time I was there, about 3 days ago, I noticed that they don’t have groomers, but they have a nice dog wash. I like the fact that you can buy a package of washes. Neat!

    Where I live there are numerous pet stores. I shop prices and quality of service, and I have found Pet Supplies Plus to not only offer the most competitive prices, but their employees are the most professional and helpful.

    I love Pet Supplies Plus. I started taking my 8 week old puppy in the store and getting all the supplies I needed with the help of a employee. I then decided to get my flea and tick treatment there also and I was walked through all my different opinions. My puppy turned into a very picky eater and I've always gotten help at the store on what else I can try. Not only have they been helpful they always carry anything heavy I may have to my car for me. I only wish they had a scale to keep up with my puppy's weight.

    I don't like seeing idle employees. They should at least look busy and be quick to assist customers instead of waiting for me to ask. I appreciated carrying my bag to the car. Good supply of stock and their prices are good.

    Every time we go there. Always a friendly hello to me and my Lobo. We go around the store and get food for her and she gets petted a lot. She is friendly just like the staff. They are better located than the other chain store that are in my area. Plus more staff and somewhat better pricing and a little better selection.

    I recently bought a Betta fish and left very impressed! For just a simple little fish they sent home a pack of information and had me sign paperwork! A big difference from the first pet store I visited (pet supermarket). The staff was very friendly, efficient, and informative. The other animals on display seemed very well cared for and were active and alert! They have a great selection of dog food, too, including many lesser known and holistic brands. 10/10 recommend!

    I appreciate the fact that we can take our dog into the store. Her nose rules our food and snack purchases. We buy her collar, leashes, jackets and beds here. You can wash your dog here at the location. We have never used that benefit yet.

    A very friendly staff. They always happy, friendly and willing to help with any questions. The new addition of a do it yourself washing station that includes the shampoo, conditioner, dryer and towels. If you buy a $25 wash card you get 5 washes.

    The customer service is very good. There is always someone available to help with heavy items into cart and into car. Unless you have money off coupons the prices are about average. You can find specific cat food that no other stores Carry. Overall a good experience. I recommend.

    I very much enjoy shopping at Pet Supplies Plus, mainly because it’s cheaper than the larger retailers such as PetSmart, PetCo, etc. Their customer service is always amazing from greeting me as I enter the store to helping me find products. One thing I would like Pet Supplies Plus to improve on is their selection of natural dog treats. They have a solid selection for the size of their stores but would like to see more opposed to having frequent sales on products that are not all natural. However I am always satisfied with Pet Supplies Plus overall and they are my go-to for anything my pet needs!

    I have shopped numerous pet stores for a variety of things from dog supplies to reptiles and supplies. I have never had or seen such consistence that I do with Pet Supplies Plus.     I have been getting my dog supplies from Pet Supplies Plus for years. All of the employees are so friendly and helpful. Every time I go there I am greeted as soon as I enter the store. And I am asked if I will be needing any help. They help put the large bag of food into my cart and always put it into my suv for me. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.

    Every time I buy dog food the workers offer to carry it out to my car for me, even though I'm young and capable. The brand of dog food I buy comes with a free dog wash. Anytime I need an odd item the store workers are very informative and give suggestions.

    The store is very clean with a good selection of food and accessories. The price for my dry dog food is cheaper than Chewy and with 20% off coupon I receive by email, it is even a better deal. They will also carry your purchase out to the car if you need!

    The prices are good, usually lower than other stores. The selection is great, I don't think I have ever needed something they didn't have. Finally, the customer service is great. Everyone says hello when you walk in, they are always eager to help, and they always offer our dog a treat and comment on how pretty she is. It has all the luxuries of a chain store (products, prices, etc.) but with the feel of a small town pet store.

    I am very pleased with the selection of food products, leashes, treats and especially the bathing area where I can wash my dog. There are rubber aprons and towels provided as well as shampoo and dryers! The cost for baths is so reasonable at just 5 baths for $25.00! I used to shop at a boutique pet store with high prices and less selections. The best thing for me is that there’s a Pet Supplies Plus store within 2 miles from my home in MA and my home in FL. Awesome!

    PSP has higher prices than some pet stores but their sale prices are outstanding. I saved 50 cents per can on my case of Nutro dog food because they matched Chewy's online prices. The staff were very knowledgeable about the products they carry and they were so nice. I will be a permanent customer as long as they are matching prices.

    Pet Supplies Plus has only recently started having more competitive pricing. Now that it is no longer cheaper to use local mega food and merchandise stores in the same vicinity as Pet Supplies Plus. Their overall selection and store atmosphere of friendly and knowledgeable staff are also an asset. But unfortunately many of their items such as Cat Litter Brands are still over priced. And I buy most of my cats needs from other local stores for the sane thing at a lower cost.

    I do enjoy being able to buy the pet food products there at once a month trip for supplies. Because they have enough quantity and selection variety that meets my cats finicky palate. The convenience of not having to go from store to store looking for what my cat will eat is a great blessing to me. Since I buy in bulk once a month for her nutritional needs. I like shopping there also for specials and sale items and frequent offers they provide. The store is clean and pet and customer friendly. And they offer an easy membership club to join that provides many discounts and offers.

    I have a finicky Dachshund. Very diva'ish with her food and treats. She got really sick about 3 months ago.. After feeding her boiled chicken and rice for about a week or more.. I Pet Supplies Plus.. The person who answered the phone listened and have me type to help her recovery and also informed me of their site brand of food which I was unaware of. She talked with Mr for a good twenty minutes. I bought the recommended for. Josie puppy loved the recommended food and recovered well. Is so appreciated her patience care and concern. Also told me that it after so many days she didn't like it I could bring it back. They are the absolute best!!!!

    I went to the store and the employees were extremely warm and friendly. They offered to explain their bath discount card which I definitely bought because I have a young puppy who now digs in the mud. Everything in the store was clean, in order, and stocked with easy to find products. The staff knew their products. I bought the bath discount which was a blessing to me, NO home and towel clean up after. I bought my puppy food at a much cheaper price. I LOVE this store.

    The store generally has a good selection but I feel like they could be better. I buy my dog food from them as they have a really good selection. Would like to see more options for harnesses and clothing. My dogs are hard to fit so being able to actually test them on my dogs would be very helpful.

    I have been a Pet Supplies member for 20 years and the stores are always clean and well stocked. Pet friendly, pet accidents are worry free. Staff is immediately there for clean up or any assistance needed. This store welcomes price comparisons, coupons, discounts and always have product sales. They have a huge variety of products that are well monitored for expiration dates. I have cats, dogs a rabbit, salt water fish, a turtle and staff is very knowledgeable of the needs and care for all of your pets. Customer service is never a problem and always open to your concerns.

    I frequent the Lancaster store where all the associates know my dog. I like the fact that they all come up to her and pet her. I like the idea of washing my dog at the store. My girl sheds and I don't have to worry about cleaning my bathroom.

    I usually like how their stores are set up. They always have the right treats and chew bones. Once I accidentally teeny weeny treats instead of big dog size and I brought them in to donate and buy the right size and they gave me a full credit I was not expecting. Nice.

    This store always is friendly and helpful about their products. I prefer getting quality food that is not big brands. They carry local brands that have never been recalled which is a preference for me. My dog and two kitties are healthy at 10 to 11 years old. So I feel because of the best quality food I feel I get for them is available here.

    It's a good store with friendly staff and very nice bathing facilities for my dog, I have a Newfoundland which is very big and has dense, long hair. They supply towels and hair driers for a very small cost, afterwards the dog goes down the treat aisle and picks out her own.

    I tried to exchange a product that I bought yesterday and this company refused to do it even it does not specify in the recipe. What it said in their recipe is that I have 14 days to do it.... The managers are very rude and don't know how to treat customers with dignity and respect. This happened at the Upland, California location store # 4073.

    I love that this chain offers low-cost medical clinics. They offer pets for sale and adoption clinics. They do not sell puppies and I respect that they do not profit from puppy mills. They offer photos during the holidays. I love when they have events because there are vendors there with samples. I also love that they do not offer grooming. I believe pet store employees are not qualified to groom animal.

    Pet Supplies Plus is the type of pet store that others should aspire to be. The workers and staff are exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They will often ask if you need help carrying anything or finding anything and the selection of items for all pets from dogs to cats to fish to gerbils to hamsters to reptiles is astounding.     It's conveniently located to my home, so I shop there in a pinch. Their prices run a bit high. Another place I prefer to shop when I have more time is "Mutts & Butts" in Merrick, NY. Their prices are great and good variety.

    The staff is friendly and helpful. They always offer coupons for discounts and have a wide variety of top rated holistic dog foods. They also offer grooming services and health clinics though I don't use either of those services. They sell birds and fish as well and sometimes have pet adoptions.

    The staff is always helpful, friendly, and courteous. Some are more knowledgeable than others. The selection is good. Sometimes they have live animals for adoption. They have fish, dry and wet cat and dog food... a lot of different brands. Treats for all. Birds, birdseed, toys for all. Mealworms and reptile supplies. Every Tuesday is senior day with a 10% discount. If you have their card... you can save even more with sales. The store I go to has a self bathing area. They offer grooming services. There is a small vet area for simple things like vaccinations and non-emergent problems.

    This store has a nice range of brands of cat foods, including some hard to find elsewhere. Also, I found a great refrigerated cat food that my cat loves. The prices are not as good as Petsmart, but the selection is a little different. The prices are better than Petco, for sure. They have different sales each month and the prices then are very good. Also, it's the friendliest staff anywhere.

    I love everything about Pet Supplies Plus, except their prices. Everything there can be found at Walmart for up to 50% cheaper. Then why do I shop there? Location, Location, Location. I shop there because they are open early and on weekends. When I need something in a rush they will always have it.

    Very helpful when not sure which product to buy. They give you their honest opinion. Someone there to carry your items upfront and out to your car. They also offer Vet services like chipping for your dogs and cats, shots they may need etc. Their prices are lower than Petco and PetSmart. Have gone here for the past 15 years during the precious lives of our pets.
