    These people consistently and blatantly OVERCHARGED us by adding "upgrades" not requested for basic dog grooming package! When we reviewed invoice and questioned it, we were told they would "credit it back for a future grooming". Which was never done! They would never enter it on or account. This happened multiple times! I made a poor review online which they got VERY ugly about and was told pur dog was "bad" during grooming and that's why they charged us extras! Even though he was groomed there 5 or 6 times and groomer said he was "a love". He is my service dog (I'm an amputee) and very well behaved! NEVER had an issues at ANY groomer and even likes the vet! Lol. They make excuses for ripping off clients and are VERY dishonest.

    They also bait and switch prices from ads, coming up with excuses why a sale price isn't be honored in store! They were abusive over phone to me and said due to my HONEST review of their store, my dog was blacklisted. Which is fine with me, I like to support local business but these people are dishonest and ugly and we are GLADLY taking ALL of our business (food, treats and toys we spent on, too) elsewhere. This place has really deteriorated over the past year or so. The staff are rude and not helpful any longer and all the great groomers have left anyways. Sad...but the way things always seem to go.

    I just wanted to give April a shout-out from Pet Supplies Plus. She greets me frequently when I visit the store. I actually engaged in a conversation with her my last visit and she shared a lot of knowledge about raising my 2 puppies. She suggested multiple indestructible toys for them and other toys to reduce boredom. After that, April used her super strength to help me carry my purchases to the car. I never received this level of customer care from other pet store chains. April, thank you, you're AMAZING!!!

    Don't ever order online with Pet Supplies Plus Brunswick Ohio.. They are the worst. I called to make sure that the online order was in stock and the staff told me that it was but when I placed the order online, they called me back and said that they don't have it in stock. The customer representative was not very helpful at all and gave me the wrong information. And this is not the first time that this had happened.

    We purchased 2 ferrets end of March. They both ended up getting very ill with the coronavirus and 2 other viruses. By the time I got the results for this it was too late for one of them. I was told when I first got one of them, “he has runny poop so we’re giving him Pedialyte.” Ok… well he was never taken to the vet for any of this. Then it started progressing and they got lethargic and wouldn’t eat. So they went to the vet, got meds and waited for the fecal test. Next day, the one wasn’t getting up and I had to syringe feed him. Ended up taking him to the ER where he stayed overnight. There was still no improvement so we had to let him go.

    I’ve been in contact with the store. They fought for me, put a ticket in for me- Marshall’s won’t do anything since it’s not genetic and then after 2 weeks corporate said no as well to the store. So I reached out to instagram and they put a request in and I got a call that day from corporate. I told her the situation and she said she’d get back to me a few days later.

    It’s now going on almost 3 weeks and still no phone call. My number is blocked from calling corporate. It goes straight to a voicemail box that is full and when I put in *67 to block my number, I get the prompts to talk to someone. But yet while you’re on hold for 5 mins. They send you to voicemail and promise to call you back. I haven’t got that call yet either. Then when I was on Instagram I noticed I’m not following them anymore. They took me off their following list too. I’ve never had a company attempt this much shadiness. This is really sad. They don’t care about people’s heartache and the care of these animals they sell.

    We have been customers of Pet Supplies Plus for year... Two large dogs eat a lot of food. I enjoyed their rewards program where you could accumulate points and redeem for various dollar amounts. I always let my points build up so I could have a fairly large dollar amount to redeem. I always watch for sales and use my rewards then. They have now decided to automatically issue dollar amount reward certificates on their timeline, not yours. And you have 30 days to redeem. I guess they think their schedule is more important than yours. They just issued a $5 reward to me, good through the end of the month. And at this time, I do not need to purchase anything. Their customer service does not seem to care that it is not convenient for their customer. Plenty of feed stores and pet food stores in the area with rewards programs that are better suited to my needs. You've lost a customer.

    I am very unhappy with Pet Supplies Plus. I have been a loyal customer for years. Always redeemed my credit points as I could use them. Now they started sending me emails saying my points have been redeemed and giving me a limited time to use them or they will expire. I’m very unhappy and plan to do my shopping elsewhere since they can’t leave me credit account alone.

    I went to PSP yesterday to buy items to donate to the dog pound, and I spent about $248. I had a 15% off coupon on my phone and made sure the cashier saw it at the beginning. She looked at it but didn't bother to apply it. When I pointed that out at the end, she didn't know how to fix it and 2 other people were consulted while I waited. The 2nd person attempted to put a 15% credit in. I was told at the end to "expect a credit (I guess on my VISA) for $37, and if you don't see it in a few days come back." That wasn't satisfactory to me but I wanted to get my supplies out to the dog pound in Elyria ASAP.

    I'll never shop here again. I thought the prices might be more reasonable than Pet Smart, and there WAS a good selection, but the annoyance wasn't worth it. And I think PSP sent ME the coupon on my phone. Great way to lose a customer. No apology, and the original clerk glared at me when I thanked her sarcastically. I didn't need to do that, but this should have gone better.

    We love this place!! What a hidden gem..excellent customer service, clean, friendly, everything you need in a pet store... the groomers are amazing.. Ava was so professional she did both our dogs a couple times with great results.. I would highly recommend this store in Morrisville Cary.... You can really tell that these employees enjoy their jobs and truly care about the pets....

    Went in to get Science Diet 35 lb for my 10 yr old golden. None, zero on shelf. After about 10 min a woman shows up, I tell her, she looks in the back, none there she said. While she's in the back, I see bags of it on the very top shelf. She gives me the ladder and says "if you want to climb up and look you can, I have lots of customers". I had to climb the ladder at my own risk. Move 4 bags over my head out of the way to get my hands on a 35 lb bag over my head and pull it down. It's not safe for customers. It's poorly run and the employees are less than any good representation of your brand. We won't go there again. Someone needs to look into this. This was Feb 21,2025 at 4:15. It's really disturbing.

    I've been visiting this store for about three months now, bringing my dog in for weekly baths. Unfortunately, my overall experience has been disappointing due to inconsistent service from untrained staff & RUDE management. A major issue arose when I purchased a Kong Tugger Toy on January 29th, planning to give it to my Scottish Terrier on Valentine's Day. On the very first tug, the toy nearly fell apart. I immediately took it back to the store, expecting a reasonable exchange. Initially, an employee told me to pick out a replacement, but moments later, they informed me that the manager refused to take it back—without even speaking to me directly.

    This kind of dismissive attitude, along with a lack of a clear return policy for defective items, is unacceptable. Major retailers like Amazon and Walmart stand behind their products—this store should do the same. Customers shouldn’t have to jump through hoops with the manufacturer when the store is the one selling faulty merchandise.

    Between this and the inconsistency in service (I wasn't even told about their rewards program for months), I won't be returning. One star. Date of experience: February 16, 2025. I also phoned the corporate office and got the run around as they said they would reach back out to the same day I called 2/17 but that call never came, surprise!!

    They push their brands too much on the customer. All about profit. Not what's best for your pets. I was told I would save a bunch of money there. My bill was $150 and when asked how much I saved they said less than $3 bucks. But I got points. Oh yeah...Points.

    Pet Supplies Plus, Beckley, WV. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU ARE DISABLED. I was training my service dog on January 29th at 3pm. We were sitting by the register and my girl was on her placement blanket. She only got up 2-3 times which I corrected her and she settled again. The employees were sooo nice and even came to say hi to her, it wasn’t an issue. Then all the sudden the manager, Bev, approached me 30-45 minutes after arriving and said if I can't keep my dog on a leash, I would have to leave that’s their policy. Other people with service dogs were sticking up for me and were disappointed in her behavior. She can legally asked for me to put her on a leash.

    This is precisely what happens if I pass out; I may trap her and she cannot do what she needs to do to keep my safe. She’s usually always on a leash and I always have it in my hand but due to just exposure training I couldn’t reach it. It doesn't matter what your policy is, even if it's a private business; if you serve the public, you have to abide by the ADA. IT IS FEDERAL LAW. your policy isn’t over the federal law. The ADA states the dog has to be on a leash, with the exception of a leash getting in the way of the dog doing tasks for your disability.

    When I got to the car, I just sobbed and began to have a panic attack. I called the legal line and they were disgusted by what happened. I had to call them at least 10 different times and persist until they called me back. The district manager stated that it’s their policy that a dog has to be on a leash. However, that applies to any other animal, but this is a service animal. If I pass out, she cannot do her job if a leash is trapped beneath me. Remind you she’s always on a leash but if I feel weird I drop it. In this instance she was on the ground on her placement mat and I didn’t have the leash in my hand as I couldn’t reach it. SHE WAS STILL ON A LEASH I just didn’t have it in my hand.🤦‍♀️

    I understand not wanting dogs off leash in a store with people as people can get bit but she is a service animal. She is a working dog for multiple disabilities. While I was in there there was a very kind blind woman with a blind stick, if I had a leash and she walked between us, she could’ve fallen and gotten hurt. Another reason why short leads are so much easier and the dog is still leashed.

    Clearly, they don't care about the possible lawsuit or the business they may lose. This is utterly disgusting behavior. In addition to this, the store is extremely dirty and is constantly stained with dog urine on the floor. It smells intensely like parvo diarrhea every single time I'm there. There are dogs lunging and barking every single time. The manager, Bev, never says anything to them, but when my service dog is in there quietly sitting, it's an issue. Never, ever, ever come here if you’re disabled.

    This is for the CORPORATE Office-and 'Joe' whose voicemail is reached (not even identifying that it's Pet Supplies Plus' in any way, shape or form!). In fact, this guy 'mumbles' his last name so it's hard to even make out (I think it begins with an 'H'.. In short?). I have come to realize that many Pet Supplies Plus stores aren't even associated with the LOGO Company Corporate Office, and from what I hear? With good reason!

    Amy at Pet Supplies Plus (location Blvd and Evan’s store). Was so amazing and very professional with my baby’s grooming today. I was extremely impressed on how she listen to my concerns and how she explain how and why she groomed her a special way. I will definitely be having her groom my baby from now on. I feel her love of our babies.

    I had my 1 yr maltipoo groomed at Jones Rd Houston and he was shaved naked. What fur was left on his head was uneven and a mess! He has a brow ridge over his eyes! Worst grooming experience ever! Noisy, talking (shouting) over the heads of other customers while actively grooming another dog when picked up. Baby is a rescue with don’t touch my head issues and they reach right out at him and get nipped! Calm, quiet, soothing and talk to the owner FIRST before engaging with the dog!!!! Never going back! Also they never have sale items listed. Waste of my time. If it’s a sale you better be stocked up to fill it.

    I went to get my order & it wasn't ready. Normally not a big deal. They let me pull it & then verify it all the other times it wasn't ready. I was told I had to cancel my order & buy it again. Which invalidated my 30% coupon that can only be used once. I live 30 mins away so now I have to make another trip. As I have to be somewhere & I have to do it on New Year's Day. Feeders their competition goes out of their way to help the customer m. PSP use to. Not anymore. And the employee was just standing at the register doing nothing. So why couldn't she have pulled it. Not a hard thing to do. I can't upload a receipt as I haven't gotten my order. Here's the order # **.

    I would have given them a 5 star review except for their rewards program. I have never been able to redeem my reward points ever. There is always something wrong. There is no bar code or it’s expired. The employees don’t even know anything about the rewards program either. Corporate seems to love sending emails says don’t forget you have rewards but they’re always expired. Other than that I love Pet Supplies Plus. Great store in Jersey Village. Super nice staff. Store is always clean and well stocked. This would have been a 5 star review except for the wonky rewards program.

    The store on Pennsylvania Ave Lansing Mi has rude employees. I have put up with it for about a year. Today finally had enough. Snide comments, and inconsiderate. Waited 15 minutes to check out. Clerk turned off light and left saying nothing and expected me to move to other full line. I will spend my $400 a month somewhere else now.

    One star is being very generous. Online ordering is horrible, rain checks not given for items advertised but not available. I am totally done with this store. Fish bought there die within days. Employees are very young and not managed appropriately.

    I placed an order for autoship on the website and clicked a box for 35% off that stated "sign up for autoship at checkout and save up to 35% today". Nothing mentioned about having to be a new customer. I emailed corporate and included a screenshot of the "box" for the autoship option and was told I was a previous autoship customer in 2021 (!!) and wasn't eligible for this; NOWHERE on this page does it state needing to be a new subscriber. I'll happily choose another store to purchase my dog food. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? This is so misleading!

    Cancelled my dog's grooming appointment upon walking in. They did not contact me. Drove 35 minutes, will never return, they lost a good customer and a great tipper. Felt like I got slapped in the face and they didn't seem to care at all not even the manager.

    For Black Friday they advertise "Bogo on thousands of products" except literally everything I needed for my cat and rabbit, it was full price. The treats I bought for my rabbit I knew felt a little hard and crunch but thought maybe my rabbit will still eat it. She didn't. So I brought them back to ask for an exchange. Going the the product I needed they were all hard and crunchy again. I don't believe their products are fresh. They are not like that from Petland. I grabbed a bag of a different treat but same brand to show the texture difference.

    I asked if I can exchange or get a refund due to 30 days not satisfied. They told me no because I didn't have the receipt from Black Friday. Today is December 16th. I said, "I have an account with you. Can you look it up?" And they said "the policy just changed where you need the receipt or we can't accept it". Like what??? I would understand if I didn't have an account but there's literal proof I bought this from your store under 30 days ago. Waste of my money, time, and gas.

    Every time I visit the store they never have anything I need, I come every two weeks for crickets and I always call beforehand, I always ask if the store has small crickets in stock, I get told yes then when I get there they don't have any. Tonight I called and asked the person answered and said, "Yeah I'm pretty sure we do," I said, "Thanks" and came about 30 minutes after calling and they have a sign “Sorry we are out.” The same person that had told me they were in stock was just standing there on their phone, it's really inconvenient for me to make multiple trips a week because they can't just go and check when I call.

    I went in to purchase an item that was shown to be in stock on their website but unfortunately was not in stock. The manager offered me a more expensive item at the lower cost AND honored the coupon that I had as well. I really appreciated their willingness to work with me!

    I was scheduled for a 9:30AM appointment for my dog when I got there, The attitude of the three girls were absolutely horrible. They looked and acted very unprofessionally. This groomer actually was giving me a very hard time about shot records when I definitely gave them shot records so they resolved that issue by blaming the other groomer by name which who I know and was a very good groomer. Perhaps she should have addressed the records BEFORE my appt. And I felt she was being very unprofessional. All I wanted was my dog groomed and got nothing but a hard time. She then proceeded to put my dog in a crate, and I told her my dog cannot go in a crate. He gets high anxiety and she said, "He’s fine." "Really you know my dog better than I do!" "Well then I can’t groom your dog just like that."

    I would never recommend going there because they look and act highly unprofessional. They all look like they just rolled out of bed, and if you love your dog, as much as I love mine, you’ll find a competent groomer and it’s sure not pet supplies plus in Austintown. It scares me to think I almost left my dog there! Lauren was amazing and I miss her terribly. She was a very professional groomer, unlike what they’re saying about her. The manager didn’t seem to care that I was not coming back. I have been a pet supply plus customer for many years. I see good help really is hard to find!

    I have been trying for more than 1 hour to complete a purchase online and the system has been extremely slow, when I finally was able to hit check out took additional 10 minutes to get a “checkout system failure”. This is not the first time this is happening to me. Online service is the worst.

    They are not very good about price matching. Price match is about matching a competitors ADVERTISED price. They will not accept sale price even though it is advertised. I felt like I was being interviewed when asking for price match, had to spend quite a bit of time standing at register for the manager to accept any. No luck. I will not be going back there. Amazon it is.

    Refuse to meet Petsmart prove on the Zupreem bird food and refused to meet price of Kaytee unless I could show price on only four years websites to watch. Wtf. I was informed had to bring my tablet to the store. Wtf.

    I’m only giving you this information regarding my health because it ties into my experience. I was diagnosed with a rare disease back in early 2017 called Relapsing Polychondritis and it deteriorates cartilage and leads to my numerous autoimmune disorders. And had been bedridden for over 5 years!!! This was my first experience out of the house due to some kind of miracle in my experience providing motor skills & mental awareness. Anyway, the way I look and inability to communicate made me terrified to be seen. Well, this was the best experience I could have ever dreamed of for my first time out: The knowledge the whole staff had was a perfect 10 (I’m a former retail manager so I know what it takes to deal with difficult customers while remaining genuinely happy and still be helpful). So, to say I had an amazing experience is an understatement. This was a team I dreamed of back in the day!

    Jake and Jamie are the two names I remember the most. Especially Jake in this visit. He made me laugh which actually help me forget about my appearance. Then, he even grabbed the cans of cat food so I wouldn’t have to. I honestly wanted to hug them all! (No worries I didn’t lol.) But that alone speaks volumes! To top it off, the food he recommended was spot on one of my cats who wouldn’t eat. Do you know how that made me feel??!

    It was outstanding service and just a very welcoming environment. You could feel the love they have for animals which made even more blown away. I could write a book about how this specific store (East Hanover) not only got my sweet little kitty to eat again but gave me the confidence I needed desperately by simply being nice and not judging me by the way I look. Like so may others. And the genuine vibe gave me some hope that there are still good people out there. Years of being treated like a freak by doctors because this disease is so rare and starts of like an invisible disease. It was horrific. Jake & Jamie could teach them how “being a good human“ is done.

    I tried to exchange a dog harness, I did not have the receipt and they were not able to find the harness on the computer. So she decided to charge me for the correct size, keep the one I had already paid for (incorrect size) and not say anything. I checked my receipt and I questioned her, she said she had to charge me. I asked for my money back and I would keep the one that was the incorrect size. We have done a lot of business with Pet Supplies in the past, but I will not step foot into another store. You need to hire people that know what they are doing.
