Bought 6 pairs for my husband. He loved they way they felt (at first). They were rated #5 in Men’s Health and really expensive but I thought it would be worth it. Surprise 2 weeks in his scrotum hung out the crouch, poor guys. Not to make a joke but literally the worst underwear he ever wore. I can’t believe Dr. Laura promotes this type of horrible product.
The underwear was not what it claimed to be. When I asked about a refund was told only items with tags on were returnable. They claimed to have a perfect fit. Mine rolled down like the cheapest underwear I have ever owned. These guys are robbing people blind.
They make it very hard to buy when you can only return one pair. I also found other products started to stretch and no way to return. Never again would I buy from them! I wish I would have read reviews before making a purchase.
Ordered 3 pair cotton and second skin briefs. Large, same size I always wear. Received quickly. They were baggy with no support. Contacted Tommy John. They asked a few questions which I answered and never heard from them again. E-mailed Manny several times, nothing. Got burned for $90. Do not believe the fake reviews. All the other brands fit perfect. Buy and you will be sorry.
The quality of the expensive men's underwear I purchased is below standards and NO guarantee provided by the company. I had a large hole appear in the seat of my underwear within one year of purchase! I am 68 years old and rotate my underwear at least every two weeks. They offered me a store credit of $15.00. That told me something about the company! Will not be going back here anymore!!! Going to go back to my old faithful's, Jockey. Never had an issue!!!

I placed an order on 2/6/19. Got an email it was shipped. When I followed the tracking ID it stopped. Called customer service on 2/14/19. Said my order was lost and could refund my money. No Valentine’s gift for my man???
Falsely advertised. You did not get what was promised. Boxer shorts do not stay up. Very difficult to urinate without yanking up the pant leg. Very disappointing, am going back to wearing Jockey underwear.
So I'm one of the people that believe in you get what you pay for. With that said I have purchased 8 pairs thinking that the first three I bought were just not the right type. These all have ripped in the crotch due to the pulling down from all the wedgies. Not as advertised unfortunately. Please let me know when you actually fix the wedgie issue. Thank you.
I placed an order for Valentine's Day on 2/2/19. I received an email on the 7th that it was shipping. I received another email on the 11th that it was shipping. I then received an email on the evening of the 11th that I received a partial refund because they couldn't fill my order. I ORDERED THE SET! They still charged me for half of the set and the gift box. Uh... Don't do me any favors... Either 1) Don't ship any of the order or 2) HOW ABOUT DO NOT SEND ME 2 EMAILS SAYING THE ORDER HAD SHIPPED. Customer service thought they did me a favor by shipping half of the set??? How about refund me and still put in a replacement item and then apologize. I will never order online again. The store is hands-down a different experience.
I purchased 3 pair of Women's Air Briefs and have been very unsatisfied with their claim that they do not move or need to be adjusted. They roll down your backside and need constant adjusting. I cannot wear them at all due to the frustration of them not staying in place! They were expensive and did not perform as advertised.
I wanted to buy my wife some Tommy John panties for Valentine's Day. I paid for a magnetic gift box because it would have made a great presentation for my gift to my wife. When the package arrived it contained no gift box. I emailed the customer service team and apparently they are unable to send gift boxes alone. I refunded the whole order. I won't shop at Tommy John again.
The waistband has broken down after two washing and the construction and materials are poor. The advertising is misleading and false... beware Sears and JCPenney has a far superior product at one fourth the cost. I hate being lied to. Check warranty before ordering and or wearing. Order at your own risk. I am finished.
Tommy John's boxer briefs and customer service is horrendous. Let me also say that they blocked me from Twitter for expressing my concerns about the product and quality. The boxer briefs they sell will literally fall apart in 6 wears. Now let me say this is not all of their products but all the boxers briefs made originally and their best selling boxers. I contacted them shortly after all 3 pairs I purchased developed small holes and rips almost immediately. They did however, after my tweet about my disappointment in the quality, send me 2 new pairs. To my surprise the same thing happened in less than 3 weeks. I again took to Twitter and expressed my disappointment. They blocked me. That's all I really need to say. Stay away from these cheaply made products. They fall apart almost instantly.
I heard the advertising for Tommy John underwear 100s of times and thought I need to try them. I ordered 6 pairs of the men's briefs before a 2-week long vacation. I tried on a pair before I left and it seemed to fit nicely so I packed all 6 pairs along with another brand to fill in the remainder of the days I was going away. The underwear had a horizontal slot in the front to let your goods go through when peeing. It is a very poor design as the material barely overlaps. They seem fine when you put them on but when you sit down then stand up the material rids and your good go through the slot and you have to keep putting your hand down your pants to adjust everything.
This is exactly what they advertised their underwear solves. I wore all 6 pairs on the trip using a piece of toilet paper in front to keep my goods from sticking out. When I got home from my trip I asked to get a replacement for all 6 pairs as they are defective or if not just a very poor design. The customer service person gave me an attitude and said they would only refund or replace 1. I spent over $100 on these and I can't even wear them. What a waste of money. I would have been glad to give them another shot and even purchased more if they would have given me a replacement without a horizontal slot. Do not buy these. There are many other brands that don't have this problem like Jockey who I have been buying for over 10 years and never had an issue like this. You have been warned.
Bought 3 pair to try them. Total rip-off. Very expensive and uncomfortable. Return was a hassle also. Had to complain to get them to take back worn pair. Initially customer service person said they would not take back anything without tags or worn. How would someone know how uncomfortable these things are without wearing them? Jockey!!
I bought into their advertising and ordered 1 of each men's underwear to try it out. The briefs were not large enough to hold the package, the boys just fell out, so I did not even wear them. The boxer briefs were better but both paid needed to be pulled out of the butt crack constantly, exactly what they said would not happen. Nice material, but the fit sucked big time. Then when I wanted to return them... forget it. You can only return what has not been worn and the tags are attached. Their customer service was adamant and they gave me credit for one pair. I will bet they do a sniff test when returned to make sure they were not put on... Stick with Jockey... At least fair value for the buck and the company stands behind the product.
I didn't mind spending the $ on the promised underwear. BUT WHO WEARS underwear without first washing it? I did. It does NOT perform as promised. The boxer brief fit nicely when standing. But if you sit, as most of us do, it does INDEED ride up the thighs forever requiring "adjustments". When I politely mentioned that they certainly didn't live up to what was promised I was told "too bad". "You should have left the tags on, not washed them", and the list of conditions to the "guarantee" went on. All in writing btw so the correspondence is easy to prove up (which I have posted everywhere I can). This company does not deserve whatever business it is generating for the sheer fact of its miserable customer service and lack of any meaningful backup to is "guarantee".
Bought six pairs of this company's expensive boxer briefs. Pair had a run in the leg seem when arrived. It has continued to get worse. Contacted company and they said they would email me about the issue. I received an email that had more questions than a loan application. One wanted to know my waist size in case the problem is I am too fat and ordered the wrong size. Another wanted to know if I wash with cold or hot water and etc. Basically, it was an interrogation to find out how the problem is my fault, and not theirs. An example of not getting what you pay for. Sometimes less (i.e. money) is more (i.e. quality).
Over the past 2 years or so I have purchased 10 pairs of underwear, 4 pairs of socks, a tee shirt and a pair of pants. For the price, I expect great comfort, great service, and exceptional quality. I love the socks, tee shirt and pants. But the underwear, while extremely comfortable, the quality does not match the price. If you can afford to replace each pair of underwear after about a year (wear once per week), this is the product for you. If you expect a product that will last, or at least a company that will stand behind their products, find another brand.
I’m extremely disappointed in the waste of money as after about a year they all have holes in them. I kept wearing them even with the holes (I am a man after all) but when I finally had enough and reached out, they said my experience was not typical. After searching other reviews, I’m finding that my experience is typical. Too bad they don’t have enough confidence to stand by their product for more than a year. I’m not expecting a lifetime warranty, but I do expect them to last longer than they did. Especially for the price tag.
Complete junk! I purchase two pair of these and after wearing twice they are already showing significant signs of wear and fraying. Their "QA" department claims the wear is not significant enough to warrant replacement. Save your money and buy another brand!
I purchased 4 pair of Tommy John due to the great advertising. I thought they sounded great. I got 4 different styles to try out. The cool cotton brief started unraveling at the seam after the initial wash. I called the company and they replaced them promptly. Unfortunately, the replacement pair did the exact same thing. So mad at myself for spending $22 on one pair of underwear that I couldn't even enjoy a single wear from. Terrible quality. I would post a picture if it was possible.
I started purchasing Tommy John underwear in June 2018 and then Jul 2018. I really liked the fit and the feel of the underwear. I was using the underwear for walking to get some light exercise because I am 70 years old. Well, right away one pair of the Second Skin Underwear wore out after using one time in the crotch area. I thought it was just a fluke and Tommy John replaced the underwear. When the second pair failed I decided that the quality and the material was the cause. The second failure was with Second Skin Titanium. You would think Titanium would imply that it is more durable, but actually, it is a lot less durable.
So I contacted Tommy John again and they told me the Second Skin is not for gym usage and that walking is strenuous exercise. The Chat Guy John got mad when I disagreed that walking was strenuous exercise and asked him if it was only for entitled millennials or executives that sat on their butt all day. Oh well. They lost me as a customer and good luck finding anything on their haphazard web page that has virtually no navigation.
Tommy John advertises their waistband does not roll and the legs will not creep up... Well, that is completely false. After spending over $200 on underwear and T-shirts, I contacted the Tommy John headquarters and voiced my dissatisfaction with their product and they refused to allow me to return the product stating "We cannot accept the product after you've worn the product because we cannot resell." I wouldn't expect them to resell the product. Why can't they just honor their guarantees. Additionally, after just a few wearings, holes began to appear. This is an over advertised, overstated and overpriced and underperforming product. I will never purchase a Tommy John product again.
Great store to shop at. Nice colors and the price was right. Salesperson was extremely nice and very helpful. She tried to sell me other items but I informed her I needed to wait. I did not know they had such a good variety. I definitely will visit them again and purchase a lot more items. I needed to bring my husband, brother, and son back in here so that I am sure that I get the correct sizes.
Tommy John is the best quality brand that is currently in circulation. The style is amazing and it's something that I truly love from the bottom of my tremendous heart. It's very nice and I love the overall look for a man like myself. It is the best overall look for all the men in the world. Their underwear is comfortable at all times.
I like the colors, style, cut and size. I like the design of underwear briefs or boxers, cotton blend, silk, wide or thin elastic. Also, new colors and a wide range of designs. But there was not a wide range of colors to choose from and there were only a few styles to choose from. And I don’t like the brand of material used and texture and I would add more colors, designs, and style.
Tommy John offers a variety of styles that appeal to my husband. They have a unique selection of colors and styles of men's underwear to suit everyone's needs. However, I feel that Tommy John is somewhat overpriced. Even though they carry unique styles I don't think that underwear should cost as much as they charge especially when the quality is no better than most brands of men's underwear. Tommy Johns are comfortable and my husband loves them and he would have a heart attack if I were to buy a different brand so to keep him happy I'll keep buying him his Tommy Johns.
Tommy John was a very productive comfortable and easy to use while providing lots of air and flow through the private parts. A bit overpriced for underwear but quality makes up for it. Product excellent for people who like good quality underwear.
I like the material that the Tommy John underwear is made from. It is flexible so that I can be active in them, when I am at the gym for example. I can run, lift and do any other exercise in them without any riding up or friction burn. Compared to other brands that I have used, this underwear seems to allow me the most freedom in motion while still providing a soft material and comfortable fit when I am not being active in them. The waistband on the underwear could be improved to be a little wider and sturdier. I never like it when the waistband on my underwear get folded or twisted up and I have to adjust them. This has happened to me a couple of times with the Tommy John underwear and it is annoying to have to adjust them. Still, my overall experience with the Tommy John underwear that I have purchased has been largely positive. They are easily ordered from their online store and are a good value.
My overall experience with their product was very impressive. I liked their underwear a lot more than any other brands. I loved to wear them. I love their so many features such as flexibility, reliability, durability and resistance.
