Ordering form them is a mess - just go to Amazon or a department store.

I ordered Tommy John undershirts. Was very pleased. I then reorder the same undershirts and same exact size. The undershirts is clearly 2 sizes too small. Buyer beware. They will not take back. Scam! Keep away. Don’t buy anything from them. I even sent them copy of previous order and sent back and they sent me the exact same undershirts they just sent me the. 2 sizes too small but state XXL. Do not do business with Tommy John.

Quality decline. I’ve been wearing Tommy John underwear for the past six years, my oldest underwear are holding up. My newest purchases have horrible quality. The fabric is pilling after 2 to 3 washes. The elastic is breaking in the waist. They’ve grown dramatically, increased their product line while upset their core customer. Now I have to look for a new underwear brand.

I like the undershirts from a fit standpoint, but 2 of them have ripped when I take them off after just 2-3 wears. The fabric seems prone to tearing - much more so than other brands that I’ve purchased before.

The lounge pajama set started out awesome. The fabric was amazing. After a couple of Washings, the pants stretch to the point that you’re walking and tripping over them. It makes them very hard to get on, even the shirts. I really want to love them, but the stretching is terrible!

I really do love these underwear but for the price I kinda expected them to last way longer than they did. I got 2xl. They are the Cool Cotton Hammock Pouch that are 86% Supima Cotton and 14% Spandex. These are some of the only underwear that don’t make me sweat and don’t ride up, and are still mostly cotton. My body does not agree with the shiny, sheeny natural & synthetic materials that are is supposed to be moisture wicking. But these Cool Cotton are amazing in all areas except for one. They are literally disintegrating in the crotch. They aren’t coming unsown, a hole formed and over the course of a week that hole became so large they may as well be crotchless undies. 5 out of the 6 pairs I own I’ve done this.

The 6th pair are still normal, only because I forgot them in an overnight bag and just found them while gathering them all together for inspection so at least I will have one pair for a few more months. If you try and inspect the hole that forms, it is almost as if by magic it the hole becomes bigger and bigger. The weight of the underwear themselves is enough to make the hole go from about a half dollar size to as large as one of the leg holes. It isn’t coming unraveled or even making a ripping sound rather just falling away making me very sad.

      Customer Service

      Reviewed July 22, 2025

I ordered a handful of the Mid-Length 6" Second skin boxer briefs. I loved the fit and feel of them. I had to get used to the fly being a top open, in lieu of side open. Of my original orders (2) pairs tore, unconventionally. Horizontally across the backside, where my thighs meet my butt. I was not happy about having spent the money and have two pairs tear. I reached out to customer service and couldn't be more please with the exceptional service that I received. I would recommend this brand to others, and have already ordered more.

Initially, I loved Tommy John female boy short underwear but my last order didn't live up to the fit. My underwear became loose and baggy, fitting more like a gym shorts than underwear. So disappointed, I threw them out and ended up being, probably, $250 in the hole. Sad because I really loved the fit and no VPLs.

I like the way they fit and feel, they definitely seem premium. However, they don’t last nearly as long as they should considering how much they cost. I recently had to throw away, almost all of my Tommy John (and I’m a repeat buyer) because they develop holes rather quickly. The cost is way too pricey to justify buying again, since they don’t last very long.

I wrote a review a week ago, and it still has not shown up on their site. I have several pairs of Tommy John underwear, and I had a similar issue with holes in the crotch, like many of you. I reached out to Tommy John, and they sent me a replacement pair. Fast-forward to a week ago, and I have another pair that developed a huge hole by the waistband where it is separating. I reached out again, and this time was told “no”. I’m done with Tommy John. For the money paid, they should last far longer and hold up better than they have. Poor customer service was the last straw for me.
