I used to always buy from them in the past. I placed an order and they lost it, are refusing to refund my money and reshipped the item and charged me again. Customer service is not helpful at all. I even used Paypal to keep from unauthorized charges and they still charged me. Now have my bank involved in getting my money back. I would strong advise staying away from them.

Used to be a good place to get products "cheap". Not anymore. They now add on a "handling charge" with each order which negates any savings you may think you are getting.... Do Not waste your time here.

They received my order in Wisconsin. I'm in MO. The company is in Illinois. Why is my order sent to Wisconsin to begin with? They tell me well I gotta wait 7 to 10 days. Don't nothing take that long. Never again. I will be filing a complaint.

Every time you order they say no delivery fee or 99 cents. They charge a fee and they tell you that it is a service fee etc. Terrible company and service. Always a problem with this company. Don't buy from them.

Original Review: I measured my calf as asked by seller 16'" however you cannot get the sock on or over your foot. I went to return them and Collections want to deduct $10.99 postage from my return. This is W.R.O.N.G. The sellers are Proviso, Melrose pk. ILL. 6163..yes that is the info she gave me. I would be a fool to send them there, please can you help me to just get ALL of my $? I should not have to pay return postage on such A POORLY ADVERTISED PRODUCT. THANK YOU..S **

I ordered online from Collections, Etc. on Dec. 2. When tracking my order, it showed nothing had yet been shipped by Dec. 16 even though their site states it will be shipped within 7-10 business days. Called them and talked to someone who was very difficult to understand and was told the order was "printed" (whatever that means) on Dec. 8 and I should, again, get it within 7-10 days. She couldn't tell me whether it's actually been shipped yet or not although there is still no tracking number, but said I should call back after that number of days if I still don't have it. She said I couldn't cancel the order as it had already been printed even though it hadn't been shipped. So I have no order and have no idea when it will be shipped but I can't cancel it. Do not order from this company ever! I've had trouble with them before and should have known better so I'm warning you.

Do not buy from this website!!! I ordered a Christmas Tree Nov 13th. E-mailed to check status on Dec 5th. The reply I got said it had been shipped. Checked tracking status Dec 16th, said it was delivered Dec 11th. Never received this item. No phone # listed to call.

I placed an order on Nov 16, 2021 for 3 in stock items. It's now Dec 2. My order has not shipped. Emailed & called customer service. They claim UPS or whoever hasn't picked up the order, but Collections isn't doing anything about it.

Placed an order by phone and got denied because I was using a foreign debit card, but my foreign bank sent me a text message right away saying the company has charged the amount of that unsuccessful purchase. I called back Collections Etc and they told me if there is no order number and there won't be any charges. Big lies! They charged my foreign debit card again in 30 days without any notice or giving out any order number. I feel I have been cheated and robbed. Horrible customer service. Untrustworthy company.

My mom loved The set. It was very pretty when she got it. She put it away till she got her new bed. It was bought in May. She put it on her bed in Oct. Washed it yesterday and the seams came apart. We called and was told, "Sorry we can't help you. It's been over 120 days since you got it." She has done business with them over 20 yrs and she paid 50.00 for a piece of junk and all she wanted was to send it back and get it replaced. I told them, "You just lost a good customer." She was just fixing to start ordering Christmas from them. When we hung up she went to her room and threw away all her catalog. They were very rude. They do not stand behind their product

I ordered a product and was sent wrong item. Offered to send it back. Told to keep it. I would be sent correct product. That never happened and money never refunded even after multiple calls and emails. The supervisor said there was nothing she could do for me and was very unkind. I am on disability. 50 dollars is a great deal of money for me. After 3 months I have given up. I ordered a solar umbrella tree and was sent a wireless doorbell.

I was on a waiting list for an item from this website and I received a notice that it was back in stock. It was $15 and they said "free shipping" on $40 or more so I spent a few hours shopping. THERE IS A HANDLING FEE!!! But I proceeded to make my purchase and then it refused my credit card twice. So I called the 1-800# immediately and was told my "in stock" item would not be available for 6 more weeks. I proceeded anyway and then they told me another item was out of stock. (There was one left before I made this call.) I was so frustrated that they wasted several hours of my time that I said to cancel the whole order.

I wish I had found this site before dealing with Collections Etc. I agree with all the other 1 star reviews and wish I could give a zero-star rating. In past years this company was good but that is no longer true. Half of my ordered products were defective and I convinced them to send a pre-paid return label. My refund was to be to my credit card. Instead, they put only half of my refund on the credit card and sent a merchandise certificate for the other half. This certificate expired in 7 days and could not be applied towards the processing fee, or shipping and handling, or taxes. Upon calling, I had to ask for a manager who finally said he would return the missing refund to my credit card and it would take 7-10 business days. Of course the refund never was sent so another long phone call was needed.
The next manager contradicted the first and said he could not reverse the merchandise certificate and would not provide a reason for splitting the refund. Of course their process is obvious in that they want you to have to continue purchasing from them. As for me, I will never purchase from them again, both for the poor quality of the products and for their keeping of my money. I guess they feel they have won.

I ordered a bra size 46D. It didn't fit. My Playtex bras measure 44" around the band. Collection's bra measured 24". I called because I wanted a return label sent do I could return it and get a refund. I was told my cust. serv. rep that they would send it at a cost to me of $9.99! The bra only cost $14.99. I spoke to a supervisor and asked him to waive the fee. He said he couldn't. I have been dealing with this company for well over 30 years. I order from many catalogs and this is the only company that charges a processing fee when you order and charges for a return label. I will NEVER order from them again and I suggest no one else should either.

I placed an order with this company in Nov 2020. As part of that order, I supposedly signed up for some kind of membership according to them. I was then billed approx $97 or so in Jan which I didn't question because of all the online Christmas shopping I had been doing. Then I began to notice checking deductions of $14.95 every couple of months. I call to find our what was going on and was told I had joined a "premiere membership club". I asked what for, and they responded for savings... What a rip off and runaround. Hopefully it will stop.

I tried to purchase through their website but it kept kicking it back saying I needed to provide a shipping address. There was only space for the billing address, not the shipping address. I called the number and all my information was taken. Then I was told that my credit card was not accepted. I do not know what is going on but I had a really bad feeling about this whole thing. I just hope I don't see a charge by them when I check my statement.

I bought two housecoats that were "on sale" for $7.99 each. Ordered XL to make sure they would go over clothing and be comfortable. My arms would not even go into the sleeves and it lacked a foot or more of snapping closed. Material was so thin you could read through it. Sewing strings had not even been clipped off. I requested the full amount charged be refunded because of the extremely poor quality of the product. Total bill was $31.52 with the shipping charges. It cost me another $5.50 to return the items.
My charge card has finally shown a credit of $17.42 being credited back to my card. So, they ripped me off $8.60 on the shipping charges. I lost a total of $19.60 on two pieces of junk. They are not in the USA, nor USA made. I will NEVER order anything from the company again. I guess the loss of almost $20 is an easy lesson to learn, but it really leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and gives true meaning to false advertising. Run people, run from this company.

Unfortunately, Collections Etc. is no longer a good company to buy from, or deal with. I placed an order on their website around 4 AM EST and tried to cancel it within 15-minutes without luck for four items costing $54.96, so I called them around 8 AM to do it. (They open at 6 AM CST). I decided to cancel my order after receiving an email from PayPal that Collections Etc. was charging me $9.99 for shipping even though their website had free shipping on orders of $40.00 or more. Another place had free shipping when you order three or more items.
I even gave them their free shipping code: BUY3MY from their website. Besides the shipping fee, they also added a fee of $4.95 to process the order. Besides these two fees, they were also billing me for another $7.00, a “Promotional Code” fee, without explaining what it is. What they’re trying to do is sucker you into paying a monthly fee to receive free shipping on all of your orders. Cheaper to pay for shipping. After a long conversation with the first lady, I spoke to, and not getting anywhere, and barely understood, I asked her to speak to a supervisor so she supposedly transferred my call. About seven minutes later I was disconnected so I called again and also spoke to someone I also barely understood.
The second lady I spoke to also claimed that since my order had been processed already, it cannot be canceled. I said if it hasn’t been boxed or shipped, why can’t it be canceled. She said because it has been processed. I asked if I’ll get three different packages or just one. Just one. Who do you ship with? FedEx, UPS and the Post Office. So, in other words, even though it hasn’t been boxed, shipped or know who will deliver it, you can’t cancel the order. That’s right because your order has been processed. As mentioned above, I tried to cancel with 15-minutes of placing the order. I’ll admit the ladies were very polite and did the best they could answering all of my questions. I also asked the second lady to speak to a supervisor, she said, "We don’t have one." On the various pages the totals for my order were $54.96 (for merchandise only), before any fees or taxes were added.
Order Summary Merchandise $54.96, Shipping Free, handling $4.95, Sales tax $5.24, Total $65.15 You Saved: $9.99. Another page had Merchandise Subtotal: $61.96, Promotional Code: $7.00, Processing: $4.95, Taxes: $6.12, Total: $83.02, charged to Payment Method: $76.02, You Saved: $7.00. After a very long conversation with the second lady and giving her the free shipping code again, BUY3MY, it reduced my bill to $62.02. My order status right now is: Items not yet shipped. Hum, and they can’t cancel the order. Over the years I’ve ordered a number of items from Collections Etc., but will never order from them again. Maybe they have new owners?

This is the worst online experience I have e.v.e.r had! I placed an order for a magazine table that cost $36.36 ($21.99 table+$7.99,+$4.95+$1.43). I decided I did not want it. Within 24 hours I twice e-mailed and called to cancel my order. Was told by a CSR that they were unable to do so because the order was in the process of being shipped. Called 2 days and then a week later to once again try to cancel, as I had not received a shipping notice, and was again told could not cancel as the item was still in process. I pointed out that the item had not left the warehouse so could they contact the warehouse and tell them to cancel the order. Was also told there was no way to contact the warehouse to cancel the order.
Item was eventually sent out. Within 24 hours, I printed out a return label and placed the item in the mail. Eventually I received a refund for $15.17. That is less than what I paid for the item! I was advised via an email and on the return label that $7.99 would be deducted for shipping but there was no notice about any other deductions. This has been a month long pain in the butt. I would not recommend them to a.n.y.o.n.e!

One star because you cannot understand any customer service reps because they are not in America. My package came in a beaten up torn box that was taped together and open on the top. There was no invoice, billing or packing slips. I believe I ordered six items and because there was no billing info I could not verify it. I ordered from this company many many years ago and never had an issue. I will never order from them again and I would definitely not recommend them, especially to my friends.

I have ordered from this company before with no problem. I ordered curtains, 2 valances and 2 sets of panels description said set of 2. I received 2 valances and 2 individual panels. I called them 1/4/21 explained the problem after lengthy discussion I was assured they would send right away. Still no confirmation by 1/14/21 called again, another lengthy discussion, reassured me they would get it right out, after me telling them I have 1 window with curtains and 1 without.
On 1/18/21 I get email to call, my bank did not authorize the payment. So I called back and was told they have to issue a refund to my account and then recharge my account and this could take till the end of the month, so I tell him (now with supervisor) my bank should have nothing to do with this. They just need to send me the 2 panels they shorted me. He says will send 1 set, well tried explaining that I ordered 2 sets and got 1, SO now I'm pretty sure if I get them at all I will end up getting 1 panel and not a pair. Will be calling my bank also. I am sad to say I will not be ordering from them again, too bad really nice quality curtains. But their customers service is terrible.

This used to be a great company but I think they sold it to a foreign company now. It is not cheap anymore due to a processing fee. What is a processing fee? We pay for them to put the items in a box? By the time you pay that and shipping and taxes you can find the products cheaper in another catalog, like The Lakeside Collection catalog which delivered all my products before Christmas. I have stopped buying from Collections Etc now but I used to buy from them for years. It's sad that they don't care about customers anymore.

First time ordering from this company. Prices were good and a lot of neat things. I ordered items on December 7 with a guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. Now they tell me December 30. I ask them what about guaranteed she knew nothing of and repeated when it would be delivered. Ask to speak with her supervisor. After long wait same time frame was repeated. I ask seeing you couldn't honor your guarantee is the merchandise free. She said there was no such thing. Needless to say last order they will get from me.

Called to discuss 2 Paypal deductions from my account that total more than the order cost. The young lady I spoke with kept telling me it was 1 charge in the amount of $73ish. I explained the 2 deductions of $53.97 and $39.60 totaling $93.57. I could not get her to understand and she started telling me "let me explain it to you again" that I was only charged once, over and over again. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told there was none there, after the 4th request she put me on hold only to return and said "let me explain it again". I told her I wanted to cancel the order and was told I could not cancel as it was packed and ready for shipment. I will work with our bank but I will not be ordering from this company again and will give negative reviews based on the unprofessional and rude conversation I had today.

I ordered an ornament from the Collections Etc. mail order catalog on Nov. 7, 2020. They never sent me a confirmation email but I learned from the auto-phone order status that they shipped out my order on Nov. 20 and it was in transit. I still had not received the item by Dec. 1, so I called again and the auto service gave me a FedEX tracking number. That tracking number says the item was delivered Dec. 2 in Sacramento. I do not live in Sacramento! So I called and talked to customer service to ask why my order was sent to some other locations and how to get it to me. It seems that their customer service is in a foreign country and the man was no help. He would not do anything for me at all. I now feel scammed by Collections Etc. I had ordered from them for years and never had been treated so badly. They seem to be taking our money now and not sending us anything. How do I proceed?

Wish I could give "Zero stars!" Tried to submit order in October to beat Christmas rush; website down for almost a week; finally able to order; few days later received email that my credit card didn't take (nothing wrong w/ my credit card); had to call & CSR resubmitted & confirmed it accepted; almost 3 weeks later, $ never drafted from my account & I had no notification of products being mailed; called on 11/4 - CSR said order was being put together & shipped w/ in 2 days; called on 11/16 as I still had no money drafted from account nor notification of shipping & it says order was cancelled - they lost a $300 order, but most importantly, a return customer.

Tried online order. Didn't work. Had to order by phone. Told to sign up for trial promo for discount but I was charged full price. Called. Told trial promo give coupons. No discounts like stated. Talk to supervisor. Said wouldn't honor discount. Called me a liar. Said could give them a screenshot. Called. Talk to second sup. Did not see order cancellation, she said can't do anything about previous offered 20% off. Still $15 more than previous discount. Reps gave misleading information, ordered 4 before. Problems with each one, previously they tried to help. This time they were rude, disrespectful and untruthful.

I ordered 3 different items to ship to friends and family on 3 different days. They NEVER shipped 15 days later yet charged me. Customer service says they canceled all 3 items yet it does not show canceled and I still have charges. BEWARE BUYERS!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OF NO HELP AT ALL AND COMPANY IS A THIEF.

I placed a order and have been trying to get a hold of someone to assist with the tracking information, as the tracking number they gave me was 22 digits long and both UPS and Fed Ex said the tracking number was wrong. I then tried calling their 800 number and was kept on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes and I finally chose the option to have them call me. I am still waiting for a call. This is the last order I place with them.

I placed an order a week ago and received an email stating items had shipped; I can provide a copy of the email. I went to FedEx and entered the tracking number to setup shipping notifications. As of today, FedEx indicates that they never received a package from Collections Etc. A label was generated but nothing has ever shipped. I called Collections Etc. about the order, and they tried to tell me it did ship, but when I had them track the shipment, it showed that the package was not shipped. I ordered in October to get ahead of the holiday rush, but there is no guarantee I will get the shipment now at all. Their customer service department avoids answering direct questions. Buyer beware.

My wife placed an order with Collections Etc and charged it to her debit account. She called back on Friday to check on items that were on back order to make sure that she was charged and they would be shipped when available. My wife then went to deposit money in her debit account and was told there was only $9 and odd change left in the account. My wife called Collections Etc and had the order cancelled. I have paperwork from the Bank that clearly shows that Collections Etc made two transactions and took all the money in her debit account. I waited over an hour on the customer service number of 1-800-582-5700 to finally get to someone and then requested a supervisor. Who then told me that I would have to fax this information to (620)584-8015. I have faxed this information to them at this number. The customer service representatives are not cooperative, are elusive, and very condescending. I would not deal with these people ever!

I placed an order Sunday morning (yesterday) and paid an additional $15.00 for expedited shipping. Upon confirmation of order, I received an email telling me to expect shipping delays. Being that this was a time-sensitive order, I immediately picked up the phone and called customer service. They said I could not cancel as order had already processed. Seriously??? I explained that without a guaranteed delivery date, I had to make other arrangements. I was then told that I could call on Monday and someone would help me cancel the order due to no "authorized" cancellation staff working on Sunday. Nope... I've called twice today and still no luck. Funny, they've already been able to send my return shipping label, but nobody can cancel the stupid order. Don't waste your time ordering from this company.

I noticed a charge of $78.68 today through my checking account. So I get all the information and I call the company. I ask the lady, "Why is there a charge for this amount when I did not order nothing from your company?" She tells me, "It’s not a charge. It’s a hold and it will drop off on the 20th of this month." Mind you they put it on the 14th. I asked her why did she put a hold on my account when again I never placed a order? She kept saying it’s just a hold and I insisted why. Of course she couldn’t answer my question.
I did place a order with this company 4 months ago and learned from that order that the stuff they sell is pure junk and have not been back to their site . The Better Business Bureau needs to investigate this company. I’m lucky I check my account daily but what about the people who don’t? How many other people did they do this to. I will be keeping up on this until my money is in my account and if they do it again they will hear from a lawyer.

I placed an order with Collections Etc. My items were sale priced at $30.93. When they totaled it, they used $40.97. Don't know where that came from. It also was supposed to be free shipping if I ordered 3 items, which I did. So they used the $40.97, deducted $10.04(?) then added processing fee of $3.95 which was never mentioned during purchase plus $1.86 tax. I don't understand their pricing and will not be ordering additional merchandise from them.

Collections, Etc. billed my credit card the day after my order and sent a notice that the package had been shipped. When the package did not come by the estimated arrival date, I checked the FedEx tracking number and discovered that they had not received the package for shipment. It took five emails and a request for an eBay intervention to finally get a refund. The seller never explained why they falsely claimed that the package had been shipped.

I purchased dozens of products, they all come from China, cheaply made, not fit for the purpose intended, garbage. Unfortunately, I hadn't received any of the items, as I kept ordering more, and more. When they began to arrive, I realized these were all, crappy, Chinese made garbage, and to add insult to injury, they said I would be charged $7.99 to return each item, so they always profit, because none of it was worth 2 bucks. I ordered size 9 flip flops, and received 7s. Curtains with seams coming out as I opened the box, bedding with all irregular seams. All I received was garbage!

Collections Etc order of June 5th was shipped via FedEx and FE shows package delivered Monday, June 15. I never received this package and I have called FedEx and Collections Etc. Neither got back to me about this order or where it was delivered. The order was paid in full $62.07 credit card on June 5th. I did speak to a rep from Collections 06/16/20. He told me a manager will call me later that day. No call as of yet. Then on the 18th I called Collections Etc again and spoke to Al who checked too see if the 3 items that are lost were in stock and they were.
Al told me he was authorizing the items to be shipped 06/19/20 and I can expect delivery 7 to 10 business days. He was supposed to email the confirmation number to me but never did. No record of order being reshipped as promised. Nothing yet as of today (21) as to where they delivered that lost package or any other reply from neither. Thank you! Theresa ** Lake Ariel PA

Updated on 06/27/2020: I spoke again, with these folks and was told that they won't cancel the order, because they must give FedEx 10 days to get it to me..that 10 days will be up tomorrow..I was told it was FedExs fault because they hadn't come to pick it up., ,So I called FedEx and after a long time while the lady, "Evelyn" checked the situation out. She said FedEx can't pick it up there and when I relayed that Message to the Customer Service they pretty much said, FedEx was lying. I'm so frustrated with this company. I'm at my wits end. So now I'll contact my bank and say it was canceled and maybe they will refund my money. I usually go through PayPal, but I must have took a different route... Grrrr...
Updated on 06/25/2020: The order I complained about on the 14th, because they wouldn't cancel it as it was already in processing, still hasn't shipped. They created a FedEx label on the 6/18/20 and marked the Order Shipped! But here it is, a week later, and it still has not shipped, even though a label has been created. This business is a disgrace to real businesses out there and as I said before, I'll NEVER, order from them again. Neither will my friends, Children, or Grandchildren for that matter.
Original review: When I purchased a nightgown from Collections, Etc it was priced at $14.99. I expected a shipping charge, but didn't expect a Handling Charge. So my $14.99 night gown cost me $25.93 here is how it was broken down:
Merchandise Total: $14.99Shipping: $6.99
Processing: $3.95
Order Total: $25.93
I live in Oregon so there is no sales Tax. I called them between 2-3 hours and decided I wanted to cancel the order. The said they couldn't cancel it, it was already in processing. I argued that someone, somewhere, could stop the order, but was met with a brick wall. They just plain refused. I think this is a deceptive business practice. I'll not buy from them again. Kind of like a bait and switch situation, I feel.

If you’re not careful when you order you will be enrolled in the “premier group”. Your credit card will be charged a monthly fee; mine was $16. They won’t refund - you will only cancel your membership!

I've been ordering from them for years - never had issues. The last couple of years their processing and delivery is as slow as molasses. I am now waiting on a delivery I ordered May 5 and here it is May 26 and it has not been processed yet - but my credit card sure was. I am willing to give them a chance - due to perhaps slower delivery due to COVID 19 but this is ridiculous. No updates to let you know when it will be shipped. I like their stuff - but be prepared for over a month before you get it. This day, that is unheard of. You order at the latest from other places takes maybe 5 days. Collections ETC, takes over 1 month. Just be WARNED.

On Saturday 5/2/2020 a package was delivered to my house. When asked by my husband about what I ordered, I told him nothing. We opened the package and discovered it was from: Collections Etc. and it had three items costing over 60.00, but I did not order anything. On Monday 5/3, I called the company and was told they could only tell me my name, address and my husband's name. They did tell me that the order was paid for with a credit card, but could not tell me which one or any information about it. They told me to use their website to contact them and gave me a different number to call the next day. Customer Service was closed and when I went to their site, there was NO way to contact them. On the website they gave a number to call which was the one I already used.
The next day, 5/4, I called the new number and tried to explain the situation. I wanted to know which credit card was used to pay for the order and the name of the person that put the order in. The ONLY information I was given was that I did not have an account with the company. They didn't listen to what I was trying to say, cut me off and told me they were a different department and they did not have access to the information I needed. They gave me the web address and the phone number I had called first.
There were two different phone numbers on the order form and both of them put me in touch with the same recording. I picked the option to speak with someone other than the options they listed. I had to leave my phone number for them to call me back. I never got a call from them. I did not want to return the order until I find out who paid for it. My husband checked all of our credit cards and none of them had a charge for the order. What am I to do now? The only options I see, are to keep the order until I can get the information I want. This company is horrible if I can't speak with a person, so I can get information on the one who made ordered, to contact them about it or be able to return the order so they can get their money back.

I've been shopping with Collections for 10 years. Most of my experience with them has been good. I've had a few things come and they were broke and I call customer service. Usually don't have any trouble with them and they send me another one and I don't have to hassle with sending the broken one back. The only big problem I have is no one speaks good English and I get very frustrated and so do they. Either get people that speak English or do like every other company and go through a computer....

I ordered 3 items from Collections Etc. Order number **. One of which was a to be a gift. A t-shirt saying “This is what a really cool Grandma looks like”. They sent me one that says “GrandPa”. Useless to me for my gift. I have tried to email them twice, I have called several times over 3 days and always get the message (after selection of several options on the phone) their customer service is closed today!! I have no way to return or exchange the t-shirt! This is terrible customer service to say the least.

I ordered 3 citronella plants to keep mosquitos away from my porch. Not only did the picture look completely different from what they sent me but it arrived late and in a box. All three plants were dead, broken and looked like someone had played football with the box. Dirt was all over the place. Plants were broken and out of their pots. When I called I was told that was normal and I had to wait 30 days before they could do anything. I will never order here again.

I called to get a refund, they said it was MY fault. Telling me that I have to pay $7.99 to ship back their garbage. So I won’t even get the full amount that I paid for. I asked them to waive the fee and they refuse. I explained that the invoice said I could print the return label and when I look for it, I can’t find it. They just kept telling me it was MY fault. What a shambles! Collections Etc has outsourced its customer service to "another country" and will not even have the decency to admit it. An order that I placed on Jan 15th was never delivered so I called and first spoke with Marie. When I explained to her what the Fedex tracking said online, she said they work with some group within Fedex that uses USPS to deliver. Normally when USPS does not deliver (usually when they do not have a signature) they leave a card with instructions to collect the package in person. No such thing in my case.
I was not about Marie asking me to contact USPS with no information whatsoever from USPS. I asked Marie whether she was based in the Philippines and they was a pause, after which she said no, "I am in Illinois". I then asked to speak with a supervisor; after a long pause "Faith" came on and my first question to her was her location. Again a pause, after which she said, "Our headquarters are based in IL". I persisted and she then admitted that both she and Marie were indeed in the Philippines. She also told me that the items that I ordered were out of stock and so she would process a refund which would hit in 7-10 business days. I asked for a confirmation email about the refund - she put me on hold and said we do not send emails out.
I was so frustrated so I asked to be transferred to someone in the USA and was ultimately connected to someone called "Natalie" who claimed to be at the call center in Kansas. Natalie was equally deceptive, telling me again that she had processed my refund, but she would not send an email and if my refund did not appear in 3-5 business days (remember previously it was 7-10 business days per Faith), I would have to call back!! I then questioned her about the why customer service reps based in the Philippines were not telling the truth, Natalie's reply was, "Well there are people from the Philippines who are based here in Kansas City".
When I reminded her that Faith admitted as such, she said, "Have a good day, Sir!" and hung up. This is very disingenuous. I am concerned that this company may have never really shipped anything. I subsequently checked the tracking number on USPS and it said that they were awaiting the package! I just do not whom to believe at this juncture and guess that I should thank my lucky stars if I get the refund! Never again!

Today is 1/31/2020, I called to see what was going on with my $228.00 order and was informed it had not shipped out because I didn't supply the last 4 digits after my zip code!?! I googled it and gave it to customer service rep since I had her on the phone and she said it will take 24-48 for it to ship and I "should" receive in 7-10 business days. Accidently placed an order on items that I thought I had just saved, and thought I would go back and look at later. 2 hrs later when I went back on to my computer I realized what I had done. I immediately called customer service to cancel my order. The representative said that it was already packaged, and he could not cancel the order. But yet I probably won't receive. I probably receive it until Feb 5th, today is January 24th. So now I'm going to have to pay about $8.00 to ship it back when it arrives. They must be one of the fastest packing companies, but the slowest company to ship it out. Not happy, and I will never order from COLLECTIONS ETC. again.

I ordered some items for Christmas and paid with Paypal. I did not get the items so went to their site and tracked them. They had not even been shipped yet. I called customer service and asked why they had not been shipped yet. They asked for my credit card information. I told them NO. I used Paypal so I did not have to give out my credit card information. They said they could not release the order without a credit card. I had paid with Paypal so they did not need a credit card. After reading other reviews I can see it is some sort of scam. They need a credit card to sign you up for a account you didn't ask for.

I placed an order for Christmas items in late 2018 to Collections Etc. The quality of these items, based on price, wasn't fantastic, but you get what you pay for is my opinion. However, I continued to get catalogs and emails about specials from this company since then but I never placed another order. This is my COMPLAINT... They have been charging me $15 dollars monthly on my credit card for a membership I never signed up for. We only have one charge card so this amount was just getting lost every month in the statement.
Yesterday, Christmas Day 2019, I noticed a charge from Collections Etc came through and I called them. I had to end up talking to someone in another location and I told them I wanted it cancelled right now and I never wanted to hear from their company again. That is when I looked back at all the previous month's charges from them and I wrote them an email last night saying I wanted all of these charges refunded. I haven't heard back from them, but I intend to report them to the Better Business Bureau, and put this on FB, Twitter and Instagram. I may even go to our local TV Channel Consumer Complaint Department to report this deceptive practice.... It is a true scam!!!!

I found a catalog from Collections Etc. And found a sofa cover I wanted, ordered the cover. It was 28 dollars and some change total. The cover was cheap quality but I didn't expect much, what really got me is they have been charging me 16 dollars monthly on my debit card for a membership I didn't sign up for. I have called to cancel it. But they hang up. I have had to change my bank card. What a scam... Warning. Don't use this company.

I ordered $200 worth of runner rug from this company. I have used them for years for small various items especially runners. First call to check order when late was told my Credit card denied which I also received a verification from the card that this was a legitimate charge, I ok'd the charge. No call, no email from them regarding this. Waited another week, called again. Told this time card did not go through again, explained I cleared it the Credit card company wanted to verify legitimacy of charge which I did, gave my card # again. Was told it went through fine this 2nd call. Waiting again another week, checked account items still not shipped, was told from Jen that they are ready to ship.
Jen could not tell me when they would ship or a tracking number but the 2nd call with the card # went through. I checked my CC account and see not charge from Collections Etc. Really fed up with the service this year from this company. Asked to speak with supervisor but was told no one was available. Doubtful I will ever use Collections etc. again and really NOT sure if I will get this order. Disgrace and unprofessional service Collections Etc.

I placed an order with Collections Etc. in early November so it reasonably could be expected to be delivered by Christmas. I was notified it would arrive in 2 deliveries. The first arrived in about 2 weeks. The second part, something to help my husband use the toilet as he has several serious medical issues. A delivery arrived--a puzzle keeper form, not what I had ordered to help use the toilet!! I called customer service and they emailed a return label. I told customer service the item I had ordered was for a person with disabilities and would they please send out the item I had ordered in time for Christmas. I was told that they wouldn't send the correct order until my returned item had been received by them and "checked in".
And, oh by the way, the postage for returning the wrong item they sent would be deducted from my already paid for order so I would have to send them more money to pay for the original item that I'd ordered even though it was their mistake!!! I send the wrong item back immediately, taking it directly to the post office myself and I had gotten a tracking # so I'd know when they had gotten it back and the correct item sent out. I SHOULDN'T have bothered!!
The item I sent back was in their hands within 3 days after I sent it, but there's no sign of the correct item they said they would send out after receiving my returned item. I called trying to find out any information com get. They said I should re-order the $49.99 correct item and maybe, possibly, it could be delivered by Christmas. When I might get the refund for the original item, minus the postage to return it, was something the "customer service" employee couldn't possibly make a guess at, nor could the supervisor comment on!! (told to me the rudest sort of language).

I placed an order and sent a check. Received a letter saying there was a balance that I owed in addition to the check they had already CASHED. Because there were Christmas gifts on the order I called and gave them my Debit card #. (HUGE MISTAKE) They charged $71.36 to my debit and the balance was ONLY $9.81 CENTS. Called cs and the woman couldn't speak English and eventually hung up on me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Now I have to change my debit card at bank because I fear that they will keep charging it and I know they will not reimburse me for the 71.36.

Ordered once or twice from this Company and then realized their items were overpriced and junk a good majority of the time. They have satisfaction guarantee however the postage is paid by the buyer and consumers don’t get the huge shipping discounts that big companies get so it is not worth shipping back the majority of items!
My major complaint is I noticed a $16.19 transaction on my credit card from them and upon researching they had charged me (2) precious months also. I called the company and they stated I had joined this “premier membership” on my past (and last order) 4 months ago! What a lie! They supposedly are going to reverse the 3 months of charges and cancel the membership I never signed up for but we will see! I found this business while purchasing on Walmart.com. I bought 3 tops online on 10/19/2019 and when I received my order, the tops were too big so I paid to return them on my own with deliver confirmation. I purchased smaller sizes separately. I didn’t ask for an even exchange. They received the tops I returned on 11/8/2019 but I am still waiting for a refund. I have called and spoken to the customer service reps on 5 different occasions. On the first 3 occasions, they asked me to wait awhile because refunds take time to credit back on my debit card. The fourth time I called, I was told to contact Walmart since I purchased via their website. They insisted that they had already issued me a refund.
I contacted Walmart who did not see a refund and contacted them via 3-way call. The rep they reached told me to contact my bank because the refund was already issued. To date (12/4/2019), I still have not received the refund they claimed to have issued on 11/8/2019. Do not do business with this company. I definitely will not! My first was my last!

Starting with the order, 3 items I ordered were missing and replaced by 3 items I did not order. Tried to get them shipped but then realized they were junk based on the matching item I ordered. 1st customer service rep was not great. When I told her I could not understand her, she hung up on me. Second customer service rep said he ordered the items but the email he sent was the delivery confirmation of the 1st order.
I called a 3rd time and stopped the replacement items (just in case they were actually going to ship) and just wanted a refund. The 3rd customer service rep named Aby was great. She understood immediately what happened and what needed to be done. She gave me a refund for the undelivered items and cancelled the replacements knowing I would just have to pay to return them. Some people are competent and others are not. Some companies are too big and start to lose their luster, like Collections Etc. I gave one star because of customer service rep Aby.

I ordered four rugs at the beginning of June 2019 for $73.85 total including shipping and handling. The rugs were $17.99 apiece. I received two songbird pattern rugs around 6/13/2019 with a packing slip stating the two rose border rugs, item #47287, which I initially paid for, were back-ordered. When the back-ordered rugs finally arrived on October 10, 2019, I was re-charged $35.98 for the same two rose border rugs which I already paid for in the beginning of June. I sent them my two bank statements showing their initial charge occurring on 6/13/2019 and the later charge of $35.98 occurring on 10/10/2019 for the back-ordered rugs. I have now been charged $109.83 over a five-month period for four little rugs that I had already paid for on 6/10/2019. This is the thanks I get for being a customer for over 9 years. This is highway robbery and sloppy bookkeeping. I would suggest that anyone not order from this company.

Ordered three simple items on 10/15/19, small package. Delivery was est. to be 10/22/19 to our home in NW Montana. Free shipping apparently means expect problems! This package has been all over the Northern part of the US. It appears to have begun in Chicago, then to Nebraska, then 4 stops in Colorado, then another stop in CO, (updated delivery date now 10/25), then on to Montana, where it inexplicably was sent back and forth between Billings and Kalispell MT, departing and arriving in each city at least three times. When it was in Kalispell it was within 90 miles of our home! Then, and God only knows why, it was sent back to Billings MT, so now it's 426 miles from our home. Another arrival update, now it's 11/01/19.
At this point, I figure they have to be figuring things out and we will get out package soon. Not so! Now the package is in Henderson CO, 1,100 miles away! Who knows when it will be delivered now. I don't know who is responsible for this almost laughable series of obvious mistakes, but someone is really not very good at their job. Past experience with Collections has been good, you have to be careful of what you buy but you can pick up some decent stuff at a reasonable price. However, I have never had an issue with shipping. My wife and I actually have a bet about what direction it will be sent on Monday, either further away or back in our general direction. If you buy enough stuff from this company to get "free delivery" be prepared for this type of experience. Amazon they are not....

I just ordered a couple items from Collections, etc. I put all the information in, in regard to ordering these items, "including" the extra fee. I then get a letter back, stating that I did NOT send enough money. Well it turns out that they CHARGE just to send these 2 small items, almost $8.00, as well as a state tax fee too. In other words these two additional charges were almost $10.00. Personally, I think this is a rip-off, and will not be ordering anything else from them, just because of these two other additional charges. I order from two other companies, and they DO NOT charge those two additional charges.

Told him over and over the simple 4 line address and he couldn't get it right after 15 minutes! Transfered me to someone else who didn't get it right either!!! So frustrated, cancelled order. Tried to log out but there was no way on the site to do so. Called to talked a supervisor-got an assistant instead. Took 26 minutes after explaining to her and trying different things-still no way to log out. Found out if you saved your info when you created an acct, you were in the system and you couldn't log out or couldn't delete your account like I also wanted to do. She thinks taking me off the mailing list might delete my account??? Terrible, how could you treat customers this way with employees who can't figure simple things out and lack knowledge with helping people with their accounts????

I have dealt with Collections Etc. for many years and have never had the experience I have had with them ever until the past month. I ordered Lavender in Wooden Tray a total of 3 times. First time I paid with PayPal and the rep said it did not go through. Did not know why. They advertise PayPal as a way of paying. The second time I ordered thinking it was an error, it was still not submitted. A customer service rep asked me to reorder and use another pay option. I did and used a credit card. At this time I was worried I would not get the gift in time for a birthday gift so they advised me to have it shipped within 3 days and pay extra. As I have not had any dispute with Collections in the past, I said ok and waited for the three days. That was 8 days ago and no communication with Collections.
I called today and they said it would be mailed out asap. Not sent as yet. I went off and stated the dates and the wait. No apology or anything like a sorry for anything. Just a mention that it would be sent now since I did not get it. WTH!!! How could they even send something back that was to be shipped 3 days of July 6 and that was the third time I had to order it. AND, guess what else. The web page says it does accept PayPal AND, I only had a balance of $200 to be paid in a monthly fashion as normal. I'm not believing what just happened with a company I bragged about, to all of my friends AND family. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM COLLECTIONS, ETC. AGAIN. I'm not understanding and upset with the company as I just idolized them. As of now, I will never shop there again.

I was shipped sage green pillow shams to go with my yellow bedspread. The invoice was right but shams were wrong. I called and the first girl as much as accused me of lying, but said she would ship the right ones. Two weeks later I called back and they had not been shipped.. Another girl apologies for the problem, and promised to send the right ones. I waited again for 8 days. I called again, a man answers. He was VERY rude because I didn't wait 10 days. It wouldn't have made a difference, They still had not been shipped. I was actually a good customer, and pleased enough until this happened. I absolutely will NOT be buying from this company again, unless I receive my yellow pillow shams.. THEN, I will think about it.

If you do a lot of shopping online, as I do, the first thing you'll notice is that almost all of this company's items are not of high quality. In fact, I ended up finding most of the exact same things cheaper on bidding sites, and with free shipping in most cases. Anyway, I wanted to order eight lightweight necklaces as gifts for my social group. However, since Collections Etc bases their shipping chart on the total DOLLAR amount of your order, shipping would have been almost $15.00. I know for a fact that my order could have been mailed First Class Mail, with tracking, for less than six dollars. So even with the 15% discount they were offering, the shipping still would have been crazy high for such small, little items.
As I moved farther down the checking out process, I discovered I would also have to pay a separate 'handling' fee, on top of the shipping fee. So even if you were able to get free shipping during a promotion, you would still have to pay that handling fee. So shipping is never ever really free. As an experiment, I decided to put only one of the necklaces in my cart and go to checkout. The handling fee was still there and it was only one dollar less than the shipping cost. I entered the 15% discount code and clicked on the PayPal key. But, right before I hit the Submit key, which I had no intention of doing, I noticed my discount had not been applied. This meant my one little necklace would have cost seven dollars to ship and I would have been hoodwinked out of my discount.
It's almost like this company is caught in a time warp and doesn't know that reputable companies don't charge handling fees anymore, and that most of them offer free shipping or discounted shipping. And most of them have website admins that know how checkout is supposed to work. I called them to voice my frustration, and they acted like I was speaking a foreign language and were no help at all. They offered to take my order over the phone or I could mail it in. They also will not stop sending me emails even though I have unsubscribed several times now. Bottom line: If you want quality merchandise at a great price, with great customer service, stay away from Collections Etc.

I received an email from Collections Etc. on 5/21/19, stating I had 15 percent off my purchase. It said the discount would be deducted at the end of my purchase. I proceeded to make my selections, went to check out, used my PayPal to pay and when I was directed back they never deducted the 15 percent. That was at 4:32 p.m. I immediately called them at 4:34 p.m. when I received the email and explained that they didn't deduct my coupon at the end of my purchase, they told me that their policy was the coupon was not good for 48 hours. I said it did not say that on my email, actually it said, "Click here to start shopping." I was told, "Well that is the policy." I said "ok please cancel my order," she said "ok hold on please."
She put me on hold and then came back and said, "Ok the order is cancelled, here is your cancellation number," I said "Ok I'm ready," she said, "I'm sorry. Hold on one more minute." She got back on the phone and said, "We cannot cancel your order because it already went to shipping." I said, "Excuse me, that is impossible, I placed that order 2 minutes before calling you." She said, "It went to shipping, there is nothing I can do." I asked to speak to a manager, who told me exactly what she did, that I had to wait 48 hours before using a coupon even though it doesn't say it anywhere on the email.
I asked him to cancel my order, that is false advertisement, he told me my order already went to shipping. I said, "Seriously come on now, you haven't even gotten paid from PayPal yet. I placed the order 5 minutes ago, why would you want to lose a customer over this." He didnt care, he refused to cancel my order and now I have to go through a hassle to get my money back from them. This was a lowlife grimey move on their part and I would recommend nobody buy from this company because they do no honor satisfaction guaranteed.

I made a purchase of $74.01 with my debit card, I check my bank account the next day to make sure i5 was taken out, WELL, they charged me TWICE for the same order. I call them and told them about the situation, and was told i5 would drop off in 3 to 5 business days. They said it was a HOLD on the account. The product did not work as promoted, wire mesh on one cylinder too small for sunflower seed, wire mesh on second cylinder too large for any bird seed, perch and outlet on the third cylinder did not attract any birds. Company at first authorized return but did not provide a prepaid return label, than they hid behind their 30 day policy and said it was too long and no return would be accepted. So I appealed to Amazon A to Z Return/Refund policy and even they denied my request. So DON'T TRUST ANY AMAZON POLICIES SINCE THEY ARE MEANINGLESS! As a Amazon Prime customer I expected them to honor their policies. This is my first negative experience but it has taught me a lesson. DON'T TRUST AMAZON TO BACK THEIR CUSTOMER!

On 4/16/19, I started a Collections web order. I went to check out via Paypal, but when I was automatically returned to the Collections Etc website, I got a pop-up that 1 item that was in my order was unavailable. There was no indication that Collections took the liberty of placing the order for me anyway without my permission. I did not get an online confirmation. I did not get an email confirmation. I edited the items in my cart and placed a new order. This time it went through, and I got both an online and email confirmation for that order.
Imagine my dismay, when a day later, I got another confirmation for another order--the earlier one that I did NOT place or authorize. I immediately tried to contact Collections about this. Bearing in mind that I was at work and could not engage in a lengthy phone wait and ensuing personal conversation, I tried to contact Collections via three (3) different avenues: By sending an email to them. By messaging them on Facebook. By contacting them via their webform. I did not get a response from any of these attempts.
When I got home, I called the customer service number. I then proceeded to engage in a VERY frustrating conversation with someone who had both a language barrier and an attitude problem. I tried to explain that the order was placed without my authorization, her response was "you placed an internet order, that's YOUR responsibility", followed by "Well, you should have called". At this point I frankly blew my stack, explaining once AGAIN that I did NOT place the order, it was placed without my authorization, and that I tried 3 different ways to contact Customer Service. She said she would send me a return label, I asked if 7.99 would be deducted from my return, she replied YES. Not acceptable.
Today I see that the 67.46 for the unauthorized order was deducted from my Paypal account. I am absolutely livid. They also charged me a shipping fee, since the "unavailable" item put me under the free shipping threshold. As to the person above who said contact them through Facebook...yeah, did that. Yesterday. She finally responded today but wasn't helpful either ("can't cancel shipment").
If you look at their BBB page, it is full of complaints like this. They will try to scam you any way they can, including placing fraudulent orders. If they insist on being cheapskates by using offshore CS, at least offer a 'chat' option because for the love of god I could barely understand the person I spoke with. Never again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I ordered 3 quilts from them and paid with my debit card 68.67. They took two amounts of 68.67 putting my debit card in the negative! I have been calling them and every time I do so they say something different.. Today they said that the 2nd amount fell off meaning that it would be back on my card within 3-5 days.. I can't stand a liar and a thief. I want my 70 dollars back asap.

Just by reading other reviews, when there are problems with an order, customers seem to either call or email Collections Etc. Don’t waste your time and aggravation with that. Try contacting the company through FB Messaging instead. I can’t guarantee that they will help, but they have been very kind and helpful to me in the past, willing to look into issues and finding a resolution, that is to my satisfaction. It’s just something to try anyway. Personally, I love their merchandise, and do a lot ordering mostly during the Fall and Winter Seasons.

I bought 3 orders (3 pair per order) of Navy Stylish Compression Knee Highs & 3 orders (3 pair per order) of Nude Stylish Compression Knee Highs & 1 order (3 pair per order) of Black Stylish Compression Knee Highs. And directions were wash in cold water by hand. Everything that leaked from these knee highs were ORANGE! It stained my towel, almost stained my sink & tub except I scrubbed with bleach right away. The company only gives me money back for 1 order (3 pair). I can not return for store credit either. The woman kept me on the phone overtalking me and arguing. They would do nothing for 20 minutes then hung up when I said I would never buy another thing from this company! A disgrace! Something should be done. DO NOT BUY FROM COLLECTIONS ETC!

I placed an order for 3 items on March 1st 2019. I ordered multiple sets of an item, my total was wrong so I called. I was told the item was backordered, but only for 7 days. So I said I still want them. I then receive a message saying my order was not authorized by PayPal. I called PayPal they said they were waiting on Merchant, so I call Collections back. They say they'll resubmit the order and wait two days for confirmation. Still nothing, I call again, resubmit again... See the stupidity here. I ask to speak to a supervisor. Apparently you get two kinds of help, incompetence or rudeness. Both supervisors could CARE LESS if a customer is unhappy. I was also told the matter would be escalated to another supervisor who just happened to be in a meeting. Needless to say I never got called back.
I called back to try one more time with the second "I could care less if your unhappy" supervisor. Again, it's PayPal's fault. Well it's odd my husband placed an order using PayPal with no problem!!! So my solution CANCEL THE ORDER on March 21, 2019, 20 days waiting for nothing!!! A bit of advice to Collections Etc. HIRE COMPETENT PEOPLE!!!

ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK! We ordered twin size sheets that arrived damaged. Upon calling the company, they told us to keep the damaged item, and they would issue a credit certificate by SNAIL MAIL. After waiting 6 weeks for this, I called again and was told it would be in the mail and arrive in 7-10 days. 13 business days later, I called again. This time she gave me a credit certificate number over the phone (Are you also asking, why didn't they do this in the first place?). I went online to reorder the item and it took the certificate number, but charged $7.99 Shipping and $2.95 processing. I called AGAIN (this is the 4th time) and was told she could take the order over the phone, offering free shipping, but the company policy was to always charge the processing fee. We finally agreed to pay it, but let it be known that we would never order from them again.

I have to agree with the other negative comments... And this is after I have given this company several opportunities to fix their mistakes. Terrible company that I would suggest avoiding. Does not stand by their policies and promotions. Customer service is a waste of time that will only say you (the customer) are wrong, only providing an explanation that doesn't explain or address the issue. I have never dealt with a company before with such poor customer service as this one.

I sent the return and it was received on January 17th 2019. I was not sent a replacement and my credit card was not credited. I called them 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks after return was sent back and no credit or replacement. Customer service would not give me their name or put a supervisor on the phone. I have proof of delivery back to them from UPS dated January 17th 2019 and they refuse to give me my money back or a replacement.

I tried several times to get a return order credited back by email. Received 18 TIMES that "UNable TO FIND ORDER." WRONG! AFTER 1 1/2 MONTHS, GOT the exchange done! They certainly don't know how to do customer service! Be very careful ordering from this company! Must be poor management or something. I placed an order last November, they were mainly Christmas Gifts. They overcharged my PayPal acct. Received in Jan '18, with 1/2 the items being out of stock when original confirmation receipt said everything was in stock. I promised myself I wouldn't order anytime soon. So, today Nov 14 2018 I ordered again. They overcharged my PayPal account AGAIN!! After talking to 2 of their reps (in the Philippines and their limited English), I was hung up on twice, the third time asked for a supervisor. She still could not account for the PayPal overcharge, this all took about 1 1/2 hours!! Now, I NEVER order from Collections Etc. UNLESS I develop a liking for frustration, disappointment and paying more than what is in WRITING!! Yes, I was refunded the money last year, but I had NO gifts!! Terrible customer service.

April of 2016 I ordered a step ladder w/ rails and a fruit holder, never received the items so after many contacts with the company I received a refund check in the wrong amount. The check bounced so I held on to it for awhile then tried to re-deposit it hoping it would go through this time. They owe me $67.93 but the refund check was for $55.76, don't know why the difference. How can a company cheat so many people and get away with it? There should be a law. The copy of their check bounced again when I re-deposited it. Owner of Taylor Gifts should be put in jail.

In March, I called Taylor Gifts order line and spoke with a customer service representative named "Steven." I ordered a Mobil Desk and Craft Center for $199.98, plus shipping. My confirmation number was **. Steven said that the order would be ready for delivery in 2-4 weeks. The payment was charged to my credit card in August of 2016. Today is November 2, and I still have NOT RECEIVED my ORDER! I tried calling all the phone numbers listed for Taylor Gifts online and none are working phone numbers.
A couple of months ago, I wrote Taylor Gifts a letter of inquiry at the address listed, and to date, I have NOT RECEIVED the COURTESY of a RESPONSE, nor was the letter returned to me, so I know that someone received it. It is now 8 months later, I have paid for an item that I never received. I am hopeful that Taylor Gifts will still make good and send me my missing desk and craft center. After so many months and an inability to reach Taylor Gifts, I am starting to lose hope and am beginning to think that maybe I have been cheated. Help!

On April 9, 2016, I sent an order to Taylor Gifts enclosing a check for $88.84. On April 20th I received an email that the items had been back ordered. Finally after no response on June 27, 2016, I called to discover their phone was disconnected and the second just rang and rang. My check had been cashed. I am a senior citizen and ordering online or through catalogs was convenient but now I have no faith I will receive my order and will no longer order online or from catalogs. I noticed on other reviews some said Walmart/Taylor Gifts, is this the parent company? Could Walmart be someone to contact? I appreciate the info from the other reviews, hope we all get our money back.

Order was sent to Taylor Gifts on March 21, 2016, confirmation of shipment on March 23, backorder of part of order email received March 29. My check was cashed. When shipped part of order was received on April 10, I returned 3 items that I had over-ordered for refund or credit. No response of any kind from company. Since then I've called each number several times and neither works. I've sent 3 emails over time and no response. Found out today that company filed for Chapter 7 on April 22. As I am on a fixed income, I cannot afford to part with that amount of money without something in return, and I really can't imagine how someone can be so cruel. I intend to file whatever form I have to for compensation. But now I have to navigate a confusing process to do that. I would like to know if Taylor Gifts was part of another company that is still in business as many catalog companies are.

My 98 year old mother ordered an adjustable blanket support from Better Senior Living. She received 2 replies that the item was on back order and would be shipped on 03/23/16 and 04/15/16. To date this item has not been received. The check was cashed. I've tried to contact them by phone. The phone rings 2/3x and then a busy signal is heard. Tried computer to no avail page says "error". The other 2 items were received. The account number is **. She is due a refund of $20.51 (17.98 for item, H/P 1.54 and insurance .99).

Consider me one more person to have Taylor Gifts steal my money. I bought a $30 talking watch for my 94 year old mother - it didn't work. I sent it back for a full refund only to have the watch returned with a notice that said they had "moved with no forwarding address." I will continue to pursue this company and will make sure they are reported.

Spoke with Ember who said it was backordered and would be delivered May 5th, 2016. Almost a month later and item is still not here. We ordered a chin strap for my husband's CPAP machine. It did not fit correctly. Returned on 03/16/16 for a refund. Have not heard anything and it is 06/01/16. Tried to go to website on return slip www.taylorgifts.com. Not found. Called customer service number 1-610-725-1100 and got a recorded message that said "Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please call again later." Next complaint will go to Walmart.

The first of the year I ordered this item. After several months of being told they were backordered I called and demanded my money back. I finally got the $45.00 check. I had always had good luck with Taylor Gifts. I deposited the check into my account at the bank, later to be told it came back but I was also charged $10.00 because of it. It has soured me from ordering from ANY catalog I get in the mail. If an address is emailed me I'll send copies of what I have.

This company failed to send me items I ordered. Upon complaint, they sent me two refund checks. Both checks bounced and I had to pay the penalty of $11.00 to my bank. I am 91 years old and this is outrageous! I want my $80.90 plus $11.00 paid back.

On April 21, 2016 I mail an order, with my check in the full payment amount to Taylor Gifts. I placed an order for Static Cling Privacy Film, to cover bathroom window in my home. The item number is 40031 Frosted, on sale for $17.98 each X 4 = $ 77.86. I have not received the items ordered, or the return of my check, a refund of the $ 77.86 sent to them. The toll-free number listed on the catalog I placed the order from does not work. I have repeatedly tried to contact Taylor Gifts, and cannot get any response from them. I don't have an order number since I mailed my order to them and haven't been able to contact them.

I ordered lighted switch plates and pot lid racks from Taylor Gifts 3-17-16. After more than enough time for delivery I called (5-10-16) the number listed on the front of the catalog which someone finally did answer. The CSR told me the switch plates were out of stock and the monies would be returned to me via check which I have yet to receive, however, the pot lid racks would be mailed soon. Neither have I received. My wife got online to search for contact info to the company. My wife could not find anything so she called the Pottstown Bureau of Information... The CSR told her Taylor Gifts has filed for bankruptcy and we needed to contact the lawyer handling the case. I will be calling the lawyer to see how to go about getting my monies returned as Taylor Gifts has already cashed my check.

I ordered two bathroom rails on April 4th for $27.90. Taylor Gifts deposited my check on April 7th at Bryn Mawr Trust Co. Later I received a refund check from Taylor Gifts for $20.45 with an explanation that the items were not available. The refund was short by $ 7.45. I sent a note to their customer service, but never received an answer back. Since then, I received a notification from my bank that Taylor Gifts' $20.45 check had bounced because of insufficient funds. Also my bank charged me $12.00 for the paperwork to deal with the bounced check. Taylor Gifts has cost me $39.90, and I have received nothing from these crooks.

I received a refund check for $9.54 and cashed it at my bank last week. A few days later, I checked my bank account only to learn that the $9.54 was debited to my account as NSF! Not only did the Taylor Gifts check bounce for my refund, but, an additional $12.00 bank charge was applied to my account! The bank waived the $12, but I am out the refund dollars... The bank debit cancelled my cashed check! Taylor Gifts is a fraudulent business and should be put out of business. I will never do business again with it!!

I purchased and was charged on my Paypal account March 20, 2016 for 2 ladders. They didn't show. I got a reply to my email inquiry and said that they would ship it again. Nothing arrived. I have 4 different numbers for the company and only a recorded response that customer service is closed or the mailbox is not taking messages. I luckily ordered through Paypal and filed a complaint through them. Hopefully I will get a response.

I placed a order with Taylor Gifts 4/19/16. They took the payment out of my account. I have not received my product yet. I go on site to check with my order and says order cannot be found. I've been calling them since 4/20/16 and no one answers the phones. I've tried emailing them and no responses. Mind you, I spoke to Taylor gifts 4/18/16 but since then, no one will even answer the phones. So now I'm contacting BBB ON MY BEHALF TO SEE IF THEY CAN CHECK INTO THE COMPANY.

Purchased seat covers. Such horrible quality. Damaged... Called for return. They will only provide a label for the damaged products. So in order to return the rest of my order I had to provide my own label! But the icing on the cake is that they need 60 days to process your return!!! 2 billing cycles! So if you used a credit card you will be charged interest for 2 months for a returned product! Company is a complete JOKE! BE WARNED. STAY FAR AWAY. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I ordered a hair dryer stand from this company. I have had shoulder surgery and thought that this was a great idea. My husband put the package when it arrived in the garage. It was recently found (outside the 45-day return). There were no screws inside the package. Looking at the holes the screws are tiny- about the size of straight pins. Customer service was less than cordial and will not send screws. I will not deal with this company again.

My mom had blood clots in her legs that broke and went into her lungs. It's a miracle she's alive. We found leg pumps from Taylor gifts that are supposed to help her. We spent close to $90 on them. We received them and they sent us the wrong sized holes. Couldn't fit to pump. We called for a return label. They "sent" two which we never received. My mom just got off the phone with them. She spoke to "Stacy" a manager who made her cry. She was very rude to her which I do not appreciate it.
My mother is sick. She's lucky she's alive. We tried to get these to help her and this company treated her like scum. This is uncalled for. We have yet to receive the return labels and I'm not sure if I trust them sending us a new one. I think they might actually keep them and keep the money like I've read they have done to some other customers. Don't get involved with these scam artists. You wait an hour and a half to get a customer service rep only for them to make you feel like garbage.

On this date, Thursday, September 10, 2015, I placed an order at approximately 1:00 p.m. for a Fanny Pack, Item Number 41270 on page 11 of the September 2015 booklet. Upon inquiring as to how the Fanny Pack stayed hooked, the salesgirl immediately forwarded my phone call to an unlisted number which rang and rang and rang. Not once beforehand, did the salesgirl in question stated that this was what she intended to do. After having waited to begin with for a salesgirl, and then to have the salesgirl so very disrespectfully transfer my call to a number she knew would not respond, I thought it was not only a very "Low-Class," thing to do, but in addition, was totally ignorant. I then had to pick up the phone, dial, wait, and speak to another person named, "Alan," who took my Order which came to a total of $25.92.

On July 20 sent check of $39.98 for the purchase of a Kabooti cushion. My check cleared the bank on July 24th. I waited almost a month and contacted Taylor Gifts and they said there was no pending order for me and had no record. I called my bank and had them send me a copy of the check, front and back as requested, and faxed it to Taylor Gifts on August 14, 2015. I talked with customer service (Kathleen) and they received all copies. Then they proceeded to tell me the item was on backorder. As of today, August 27th. I have called the customer service and cannot get anyone to answer. I stayed on the line 30 minutes and hang up. I just want them to return my money so I can place my order elsewhere. Will never use this business again. They go by several names, Better Senior Living as well as Taylor Gifts.

This company claims to have a Customer Service Dept but they are never available or accessible. You can call many times and will get the same - transfer to a voicemail that tells where to send returns and then click! - hangs up on you. Try to talk to a salesperson about this hoping they can somehow help you and find out they couldn't care less. Will do the same. Stay away from this company. There are too many others to deal with that have real customer service departments that will respond to you like a real business should.

4/24/2015 three items ordered. 4/28/2015 check cashed. One item shipped 5/20/2015, the rest back ordered. Canceled order 6/22/2015, no answer. Called customer service 5 times, was disconnected or put on hold for 45 minutes so I hung up. On 8/17/2015 I got through and was told check will be sent. Now they are not sending check. They are waiting for back order. This company seems to use other people's money to stay open. Seems they won't refund and put you on back order forever. How many thousands are they holding and using back order as an excuse to use your money.

Wow... there are a ton of reviews that I have experienced... I placed order - Jubilee Wax, pack of 12 but I received only pack of 1 and Walmart.com just tried to transferred me to them. They never responded to me. I just found Taylorgifts.com (their web site) and called them at a different customer service phone number (of course, 3 people different responding were really RUDE), but they brought me to a dummy line with avoiding any direct answer to me like other reviewers below.
The dummy line will never respond to me. I guess their business is really dirty to make money. They look like dancing dirty intentionally and wait until their customer's exhausted and throw away the towel. If you are lucky to go without any trouble, that would be ok. BUT once you are finished, you will waste your time & energy to make it correct or give up your money! I can never how their business has been still going since 1950. That is an excellent ability that they make money on this business way and just impressed.

Months and months ago I ordered a product, it was on backorder. Finally months later my account was hit $11.06. I called the 800 listed on my bank statement; they said the backorder product was recently shipped. I never received it. I called back, left on hold too long, hung up. Emailed, no reply. Called again & got someone. Said they had no record of me ordering ANYthing from them & to call my bank if I wanted to dispute the charge. I said "I wanted my product, transfer me to your supervisor." He transferred me to a dummy line that rang forever then disconnected! Called back to have my name removed from mailing list... lo & behold she had no problem finding me in their system. Really, all for $11.06? It's the principle at this point.

I received a broken sprinkler hose in the mail. I work over 60 hours a week and it's impossible with a 40 minute lunch (which is the only time I have time to return it) to drive downtown to wait in 1/2 an hour mail line to return the merchandise. This is one of the few companies who I have dealt with that send broken items and expect you to go through a major hassle to receive a replacement item. If I would have known this, I wouldn't have ordered from them. I finally had the time to return it (I could prove it has never been used and told them that) and they said that I had surpassed the 45-day return policy. I requested to speak to a manager but was told they were very busy and would call me back later. I asked who would be calling me and when so I could make sure I was home. They said they didn't know. I didn't receive the call and two days had passed.
I also was frustrated because I ordered an organizer and got a call a month ago saying it was coming, yet it didn't arrive. When asked when it was coming (with my recent call), they said they didn't know. I ordered it over 2 months ago. After waiting to hear from a supervisor for two days, I called and requested a refund check. You would think that after being a loyal customer for several years, they would let the sprinkler system (which is unused) to be sent back. I don't return items frequently so you would think they would care about my business, but clearly, their policies are more important than a loyal customer. Well, they have lost $1,000 and more dollars of future business over a $30.00 defective item. I hope it was worth it to them!

Tried contacting multiple times. Held on every time for more than 2 hours with no answer. They took my money, $64.95 and never sent product. It's now 2 months later. I can't afford to spend hard earned money and get ripped off. That's what they did rip me off. They need to be closed. On 30 May 2015, we received a catalog from your company. We wanted to order an item, the hands-free, lighted magnification stand priced at $59.98 (page 29, catalog AEL760), so we went to your website. The item was not priced at what was advertised in the catalog with free shipping for any purchase over $35.00. So, we called your customer service and spoke with a representative, and he stated that the catalog we were trying to order from was old. We asked him how much the item was, and he stated that it was $10.00 more than the catalog, and added the shipping and handling fees on top of that.
To me, this is bad business, and this issue needs to be fixed. Another thing, your catalogs do not have any dates on them, which would let your customers know when the catalogs are in effect.

I ordered an item at the beginning of March. The item said backordered when I received the email confirmation that the order was placed but gave no date for the backordered item. I called the company and they said it would be in by the end of the month. When I didn't receive it, I called back in April and they said it was backordered until the end of April and I would receive it in early May. I called back in May and they said it was backordered again until the end of May and also informed me that since it was backordered so many times, they cancelled my order, which I never received any notification about. She said that she could place the order for me again, even though it was still backordered but I told her to forget it. I will never order from this company again.

Charged my credit card twice for a membership that I didn't agree to. Had to call my bank to find out where the charges came from and then call another number to cancel the membership then called Taylor Gifts and asked why they did that. Their answer was "I don't know!!!" Very unprofessional! Now I cancelled their catalog!

I ordered pillows three months ago. I did receive them within a short time. I had decided after hearing how awful these pillows were not to open the package and just return them unopened. I took them to the post office asking them to return to sender. I paid for the return. After not hearing from them for a few weeks I called them. The lady answering the phone told me they had received them and there would be a credit on my credit card within two billing periods. Never happened, so I called again and was told they hadn't received them back. It is now almost three months and still no word from them. Please do not order from this company. I think it's time to close them down. I plan to notify the BBB and might I ask all that have complaints to do the same.

I received a cracked DVD and called about the situation. Afterward, a representative said I would receive a new one in place of the default one. I waited a little long and so I called in January. I made another inquiry about the item a month later and I yet have not received it. I was told that the item was on back order twice but I hadn't to this day received the item. So I decided to ask for a refund and was told I would not get it until mid-April.

I placed an order on November 14 for two items. They charged my credit card on December, but they did not send them because they did not have them available. After much prodding I got a check for one of the items on February, and I refused to receive the other one because I needed no more, and up to now the refund is pending.

Waited 4 weeks for the shoe rack I had ordered. They said it was because of east coast storms. When it was received, it was poorly made, flimsy and unstable. When I tried to call customer (10 times a day for more than one day) there was never an answer.

I've been trying to contact them about returning a Christmas gift. No one answers the customer service line so if you want to try to talk to anybody you have to select the order new product option on their voicemail. Then you get a super rude person who transfers you to the customer service line that no one answers. If you want to do business with these people, be prepared to be ripped off.

On November the 6th I mailed a check for 2 cushions for $45.90. They cashed the check on November 10th and I have never received the cushions. I sent an e-mail on Dec. 10 and asked the status of our order. They requested the order number or our name and address. I answered that on the same date telling them they never sent me an order number and I sent our name and address. That’s the last I heard.

Ordered product on Nov 29 and here on Christmas Eve I still do not have my present. Never said when I ordered online that it was back ordered. Never said that they take it to their local post office and dump in a shipping container with millions of packages to be sent to local post offices where it will sit for another 14 days before it gets sent to my local post office for delivery. So when you buy from Taylor Gifts and get free shipping it means you need to give them a couple of months before you look for their package to arrive. First and last time I will ever use them. During one of the last phone calls I made to Taylor I was asked if I wanted my money back which they took out of my account within five min of my order on Nov 29th knowing that if I did I could still not get one here in time for Christmas. I am glad Christmas is not all about the gifts because I would have had a bad one.

I placed online order and expected delivery in less than 2 weeks based on website and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. After 2 weeks came and gone I reviewed tracking and all that FedEx shown was 'label created' but had not left facility. Taylorgifts order inquiry shown 'shipped' but status was far from correct. I proceeded to reach out to Taylorgifts customer service rep. via online chat and rep stated order "LOST" and would I like to re-order or cancel. I really would like to have the item ordered, and he assured me they would have my order filled and in the mail within the week. So he talked me into cancelling existing order # and place new. I then requested confirmation of new order and asked that he verify account, ensuring I would not be charged double for product. Because at the time, I had a deduction for product on my PayPal account plus a Pending transaction??
Now another week+ has gone by and order shows backorder. I have again contacted customer service rep, 12/14, using their 800# and rep on phone claims items will be in stock and my order is to be filled Thursday of this week and mailed and also stated I would have before Christmas, after allowing 5-7 days for shipping. We will see.... I will NEVER order from TaylorGifts again and should have reviewed other customer complaints before doing this to begin with. Previous complaints are of the same nature. I just pray the product is NOT damaged as some have stated as well.

I bought a Verseo eGlide from Taylor Gifts for $89. They left out important instructions in the use of the product. When I attempted to get my money back, the rude 'customer service rep' actually yelled and sneered at me. I would not give this place a nickel of my business. I went back and forth between Taylor and Verseo, trying to get one of them to stand behind these products. I got nothing but grief. Verseo told me I had to 'use it longer.'.I used it and used it and used it. It did not work. By the time I turned it into the Consumer Affairs, they told me it 'was too late.' Buyer Beware!

On 9/25/14 I ordered 5 items from Better Senior Living (Taylor Gifts). Item 1 had a 10/30 ship date, item 2 was in stock, items 3 & 4 had 09/18/14 ship dates (yes, the date was before my order date), and item 5 had a 10/08/14 ship date. This should have been my clue to quit while I was ahead but since I didn't need until December, I ordered. 10/2/14 I received item 5 via US mail that had a receipt that had the same ship dates noted for items 1, 3, & 4 and stated item 2 was separately packaged. On 10/30/14 I checked the order status online. Items 1 & 2 were back-ordered, item 3 said a shipping label had been created 10/20/14 (my charge card has been charged for this item), and item 4 was in transit for 11/4/14 delivery. 11/3/14 I did an online chat since I had sent 2 e-mails and did not receive responses (even though the web site states they would be answered within 24 hours). I asked for a return of my money for item 3 until it was actually shipped - was told they could reship or refund but not both so requested a refund. I also requested a formal complaint be filed about the non-handling of my order.
11/5/14 I received item 4 by US mail. 12/1/14 I call customer service (not a toll free number). I was told items 1 & 2 were canceled by the system since they had been in there so long but I received no notification. Customer Service seemed to think that was OK since my charge card hadn't been billed. I asked about item 3 that still shows a label was created instead of being canceled for a refund. I was told the refund was still being processed - I asked why it was taking over a month to handle. I was told the refund hadn't been turned in until 2 weeks ago. I was also told they had some problems with their refund processing since it has high volumes (shouldn't this be a clue to them that something is really wrong with their processing). I asked if my complaint had been filed but no record of it. This person was to enter another complaint, put a rush on refund, and cancel my name from any catalog they send.

If I had not looked I would have lost $30.00. Very sneaky. There was no misunderstanding. I never say OK to these "up sell offers".

In May 2013, my wife Judy made a telephone order from Taylor Gifts. In May 2014, I noticed 2 15.95 charges on my visa account. I called the phone number associated with the visa transaction. After many questions, I found out the charges were made for a Travel club, $15.95 and a Buyers club $15.95. The person I spoke with finally relented and said she would reimburse my account. Later, I checked further back into my visa account and found that these two charges had occurred 24 times in the last year. I called again and finally spoke to a supervisor. After much conversation, the lady said she could only reimburse me for 10 payments. Finally I had to accept because she wasn't budging. I told her I was scammed by the telephone salesperson, and that I felt violated. Bottom line, I feel like I was scammed out of 190 + hard earned dollars. BTW, we are retired on fixed incomes. Shame on Taylor Gifts for NOT taking full responsibility for what appears to be a wayward sales representative who may have been padding their sales commission without the consent of the customer.

On March 2nd. I placed an order and was told it would arrive in 5-7 days. Today is 3-12-14, and no package. I have tried to call and no luck on getting to talk to anyone. I tried e-mail and that was a failed attempt. I either want the product shipped immediately or I want a refund to my credit card immediately. This is a very poor way to run a business and I will not be ordering or shall I say attempting to order from Taylor gifts anymore.

I ordered various quantities of 10 items on Dec 9, 2013 from Get Organized (aka Taylor Gifts). I was notified that one item was on back order. On December 24th, I realized that I had not received anything from them. I checked online and there was a tracking number. FedEx claimed that it was an invalid tracking number and they had no record of an order. On December 27th I called Get Organized. The Customer Service Rep was rude and had no apology for the late order. He claimed they notified me of a back order. I explained the only communication with me was for one item on back order. When I asked him his name, he hung up on me.
I called back and asked for a Supervisor. She half-heartedly apologized for the person hanging up on me. When I asked her for his name, she said there was no record of it. Whoever it was didn't put notes in the system. All she could tell me is that I was notified on December 17th of the order. I explained to her that that email was for only one item of the order. She finally agreed and said the only explanation she could give is that they had to locate the other items. And that it would take another 7 to 10 working day to arrive. So, if you plan to order from Taylor Gifts or Get Organized, be prepared for 6 weeks or more to get anything. And if you call Customer Service, be prepared for rudeness. Appears there is an overall culture of "we don't care."

I placed an order in late March for two table mates. The order was confirmed on March 27 and my credit card was charged for the $59.96. A few days later, I was informed by Taylor Gifts (I had ordered through Get Organized) that the items were on back order and they would be received by them no later than April 10 and then shipped to me. I asked them if I would receive them by April 25 and I received a message from Jennifer ** that she could not guarantee them by that date. I tried to email Jennifer, but was informed that my message had been blocked by the spam mail. I tried calling her at Taylor Gifts at the extension she gave me. When I called the customer service number, I was put on hold and then the phone just rang and rang - no one picked up. I am very disappointed and angry that their service is so terrible. I would like my charge card credited for the amount of the table mates immediately. I will never order from this company again.

I’ve been back and forth with the Taylor Gifts, also known as Get Organized. I am at the point where I need a third party intervention. I placed an online order late January of 2013 for a 50-pair rolling shoe rack, the item # being 33048 (It’s funny that I don’t have a purchase confirmation order in my email (**) detailing the purchase, but I do have a “thank you for your purchase offer of 15%” on my next order on 1/28/13.
It turned out that for some reason, the shoe rack and cedar roll that I bought were duplicated not on my part, but the merchants. To compound this, Discover card, the card I used to make the purchase, without my knowledge, would not honor the purchase. I wasn’t aware of this until I tried to use it at a few places, and the charge wouldn’t go through. I then decided to call Discover, and they told me that they wanted to be sure that the purchase at Taylor Gifts was authentic.
On 2/13/13, I got an email from Taylor Gifts stating that my credit card was declined, and it was only then that they told me that the order was duplicated and that the duplicated one was a ghost order. I was very dissatisfied, but nevertheless wanted my initial order to go through since I needed the shoe rack, and mistakes happen. During the course of resolving the matter, there was a manager by the name of ** who was very obnoxious. I told her that her subordinate, Katie **, did a better job than her. It was also because of Katie that I didn’t cancel the order. She was so pleasant, despite my frustrations. I was told that I’d get the cedar rolls and that the shoe rack is on backorder.
When I finally got the cedar rolls, the packaging slip stated that the shoe rack on back order was cancelled. I called Taylor gifts on 3/7/13, and was told that that was indeed so. By this time, I was ready to file a complaint; especially since the representative, Chris, told me that his manager was too busy to talk to me. Anyhow, I settled for another rack (#12007 C), with a $5 discount, even though my heart was still on the first one I ordered. Today, I find out that that item is on back order, and I should receive it by 3/25/13.
I’m furious not only because neither Chris nor Taylor Gifts promptly told me about this issue, but because in February, in my discussion, I mentioned to one of the representatives that I may be away on vacation soon. I didn’t give the exact date, as you don’t know who is who, and you don’t want to give out too much detail. I called today and told the representatives that I’ll be on vacation during the time that item is to be delivered. She said that there’s nothing she can do and that they’re at the mercy of the vendors. I told her that I don’t mean to be rude, but that’s not my problem. I should have been told of the issue upon placing the order. I’m very dissatisfied and frustrated.

I ordered 2 pairs of compression socks and a gag gift from this company online and paid by credit card - the total charge was $15.49. I received one pair of socks and a note that the gag gift was backordered. After three weeks, I requested update on the second pair of socks and the status of the backorder. I received the second pair of socks. Now I see that my credit card is being charged $24.21 on a monthly basis. When you call the 1-800 829-1133 customer service number, they refer you to a 610-725-1100 number that you pay for, and wait on-line for no one to pick up. Beware! The recurring charge scam is real with this outfit.

Apparently, one was for discount savings on future purchases and the other was for travel savings. My contact with TGI was purchased on the internet. Beware and check your credit cards thoroughly.

Around the first of April 2012, I ordered two crossbody purses: one black, and one brown, at the cost of approximately $65.00. About May 18th, 2012, I received a postcard in the mail informing me that I would be receiving the products at or about May 24th. As of yet, I have not received anything. I paid by check, and it has been cashed, according to my statement. I am very angry that it took so long for me to hear anything in the first place. But to add insult to injury, even when they did contact me, it was all a lie.

I ordered from this company, through PayPal in June. I did not receive my product. They hedged and hedged until the time ran out with PayPal. I asked for my money to be returned and they said it would come by mail. Literally, weeks went by and I received nothing. I called them and they said they would transfer it to my bank account. Weeks went by again and I did not get my refund. Finally, I called them and told them that I felt they were trying to steal my money from me. The customer service person was incredibly rude and hung up on me. Within minutes, they had transferred my refund into my bank account. How many people lose money to these people? This is not right.

I purchased a refurbished air cooler which did not work at all. I called customer service and they told me they would send a RMA so that I could return it. They told me that I would get it in one week. After one week, I called again, I was told that it was sent. They had it in my record. I asked would they send again because I had not received it. Another week went by and I called again. They said it was sent. Again, I did not receive it. I asked them, "Could I just send it through the mail?" They told me they would not refund the mailing cost. Again, they said they would send the RMA; again, I did not receive it.
Since I paid for the item through Paypal credit, I contacted Paypal. I was immediately told there was nothing they could do because they don't resolve complaints against non eBay transactions. While I was packing the cooler up to send back, I noticed a note in the box where another person had returned the item and said it didn't work. I then mailed the box US parcel post, insured mail, return receipt, because the Taylor website said the item must be returned in 45 days and I was getting close.
I then contacted the Paypal credit to see if they could get my money back. They said they would investigate. I have heard nothing from Taylor gifts or Paypal credit. I don't understand why these companies can just take your money, give you shoddy goods, lie to you on the phone, and the consumer has no recourse. I want my money back, and I should not have to go through all these headaches in order to get it. I am 68 years old, and this is very nerve-racking. I am on a fixed income and I cannot afford a lawyer to sue for what may seem like a little money to them, but it means a lot to me.

I received no response, not even after five attempts to reach their customer service department. They guarantee 100 percent customer satisfaction. What a load of baloney.

They doubled charged my order. Their reps must be on commission so the more, they "fake sell" (selling of items you didn't place order of), the more money they make! They sent me wrong items. They refused to pay for shipping for the wrong items they sent and until they receive the wrong items back, they are not going to credit me.
The photos online looked nice, but the actual merchandise sucks! It takes up to 3 weeks to receive your order and not to mention when you finally received it, it's the wrong item! The customer service (how dare they called themselves customer service) is not good customer service. Their customer service have tried very hard to insult their customer!

On January 30, 2010, I placed an order with Taylor Gifts for a "Storage Bench and Wicker Baskets" set (Item #D28336A). The item description at the time read "and wicker baskets" in the title and once in the description. In mid-February, I checked my order status to find that the item title was changed to read "Storage Bench" only and the description at the bottom now stated that the baskets were sold separately.
I called Taylor Gifts and was told that I would not receive the baskets, even though the title and description stated "and wicker baskets." I then asked for a $30 partial refund so that I could purchase the baskets. I was told that I would receive the partial refund in 7-10 business days. I never received that partial refund, so I called on February 22, 2010 and was told that it wasn't Taylor Gifts' problem that I did not read the full description. Therefore, I would not receive any partial refund. Then I received the bench and the backboard had a foot-long crack in the top. So I called Taylor Gifts again on February 25, 2010 and I was told that someone would contact me about the backboard.
By March 1, 2010, I hadn't received a phone call, so I called Taylor Gifts again. I pressed 4 for customer service, then I pressed 5 for customer service, then I pressed 1 for the credit department, two rings, and click, I was disconnected. So I called again and was disconnected. So I called again and I was finally connected with a human. While I was telling him my problem, he transferred me. I heard two rings and click, I was disconnected. You get the picture.
After being disconnected eight time, yes, eight times, I finally spoke with another human. She told me that the last person I talked to advised me to call back with the part number that I needed. But that was a lie. No one ever told me anything. I wasn't connected long enough for that to happen. When I told her everything that had happened, she stated that I needed to call Winsome to get my replacement backboard. When I asked about my $30 partial refund, I was told that I wasn't going to receive any refund.
At this point, I would like a complete refund for my aggravation and time. Not only am I doing their job by calling Winsome to get my replacement backboard, I still don't have the wicker baskets that were part of the title and description or a $30 partial refund.

Online catalog offered oven, which had never been in stock and was never going to be in stock, with free shipping. Visa was debited. All future e-mails were ignored. Finally, I called on landline to find out that "shipped order" was a complete lie. At that point, they issued credit to Visa, but no apology or explanation. Interest free loan to Taylor Gifts is for no apparent reason other than total fraud. Had I not kept good records, it would have resulted in total theft.

I ordered something from Taylor Gifts about a month ago. Taylor Gifts has given my banking information to other people without my permission. Yesterday, when I called my bank to check on my balances, $14.99 had been taken out. I then spoke to a live teller at my bank and she told me the money was taken out by UMG and gave me their number, 1-800-635-6433. Before I called the number, I looked up UMG on the internet and found it was some kind of scam, taking money out of people's checking accounts everywhere. I finally got a hold of UMG and told them to stop taking money out of my bank account. I asked them how they got this information. They told me they got it from Taylor Gifts for me joining some kind of club. I never requested joining any club. I think this is awful how people can pass your banking information around like this and lie. Isn't this against the law for Taylor Gifts and UMG to do this? Do I complain to the attorney general about something like this?

I ordered a Flavorware Air Oven on 6-4-07.ORDERED A FLAVORWAVE AIR OVEN ON 6-4-07. After about 4 month's the bowl cracked. So they said to send it back, which I paid for. They sent me a Flavorware, but it was defective, the fan in the top that circulates the air was hitting something. I was afraid of metal flakes in my food. They said keep that one they were sending another one, well they sent a Nu-wave which is different. I didn't want it cause it was not what I ordered in the first place. They sent me a shipping label and I sent it back.
Now I still have the defective one, with the bowl's all cracked up and falling apart. They said they sent me a shipping label in Jan of 08, but I never got it. In a few month's it will be a year fighting with them to get this resolved. I cook everything in the air oven. It is healthier too for a person. I sent an e-mail. I don't know if it went thru. So I am sending another one just in case. I hope you can help me.

I placed an online order with Taylor Gifts on Monday, May 6th. When I received the e-mail receipt it showed a charge of $250 more than it was supposed to be. I immediately called the customer service number and was assured by Paul the error had been corrected. Later that morning, while doing some other banking (and checking my account online) I noticed that the charge had been corrected but that it had also been duplicated - they had charged me $518.47 TWICE.
I called the customer service line again at and was told by Marie that the matter would be sent to the credit department and corrected by noon EST the following day (5/7/08). I asked for some kind of a confirmation number and Marie? laughed and said, Theres no confirmation number! I waited until the end of business yesterday and saw no activity on my account to correct the error. When I called the customer service line at that time, they were closed for the day.
At that point I sent an e-mail requesting a direct dial number for a customer service manager or swift and satisfactory resolution of the erroneous charge. I received no response to my e-mail and another check of my account on 5/8/08 showed the duplicate charge had still not been corrected. I called customer service again. This time, I asked to speak to a manager right away. After giving all my order info and holding/waiting for for an extended period of time, I asked the rep again that I be transferred to a manager. The customer service rep, Tatiana, response was HOLD ON! I waited a little longer and then she asked So what do you want me to do? I again asked to speak to a manager. Tatianas reply was Ill just cancel your order.
Again, I asked to speak to a manager because I not only wanted the order cancelled but I wanted a guarantee that BOTH charges would be removed from my account. I was then told I would receive a call back because she was on the phone. When I asked for a direct dial number I was given 118 and then I was hung up on. I called back again and got an operator on the line. I again asked for a Customer Service Manager, the operator apologized and said that she could only transfer me to a voice-mail, which she did. I left a message for Kimber Irvin, who is supposedly the Customer Service Supervisor. I have yet to receive a call back.
I immediately reported the duplicate charge situation to my bank and asked them to recover the funds. They are currently investigating the matter.

We ordered several items through Taylor Gifts during the 2006 Christmas season. We received the gift items, but Taylor Gifts fraudulently and without our knowledge or authorization used our credit card information to initiate an account with Fortune Builder of Maryland. Fortune Builder had been billing our credit card account $14.95 every month from January 2007 to July 2007. Because of a miscommunication with my husband--who handles our financial paperwork--the theft went unnoticed for several months. When we discovered the unauthorized charges, we telephoned Fortune Builder. Sarah of Fortune Builder informed us that employees of Taylor Gifts, Paoli, PA, had provided our credit card information and had initiated the account with Fortune Builder. During this time, we had received no products, services, letters, invoices, account statements, or telephone calls from Fortune Builder.
Sarah agreed to credit our account for four of the $14.95 payments. We called Taylor Gifts twice and asked them who had given them permission to open this account; each time the Taylor Gifts manager hung up on us. We then referred the complaint to the Illinois Attorney General in Chicago. After filling out a Consumer Fraud Complaint Form, the Consumer Fraud Bureau took the complaint to Taylor Gifts. Of course, employees of Taylor Gifts denied any wrongdoing, saying that we had somehow misunderstood our purchase of the Fortune Builder account. I never agreed to any Fortune Builder account, so there was no misunderstanding. The employees of Taylor gifts ripped us off; they denied they initiated the account without our knowledge. Over $100 was fraudulently charged to our credit card. The Taylor Gifts employees that we dealt with over the phone were rude and very unhelpful. And the products are junk!
With the help of the Illinois Attorney General's Consumer Advocate, we were able to get a full refund. We strongly urge anyone who has similar problems with Taylor Gifts to notify the Attorney General in their state. It is interesting to note that Taylor Gifts, Paoli, PA (under a different business name) had lost a class action suit in Pennsylvania because they refused to refund customers' money when customers returned items.

I received horrible horrible service and had a pretty unsettling experience with Get Organized/Taylor Gifts today. In attempting to find a senior officer, such as Pres or Chrm of Board of call/write, they don't seem to be anywhere. Due to your previous successful experience with them, would you be able to provide that info or to find a place (Beyond the horrible supervisory level) to which I may place my complaint? They stink!

I purchased 5 seagrass file boxes (item # 24591) from Get Organized on July 6, 2006. My order number is W0690596 for $118.13 and charged on my Discover Card. On Friday July 21, 2006 my order was delivered. Only it contained a table-top ironing board. There was no packing slip enclosed, so I assumed that it was the free gift (item # 13414) that my order confirmation stated that I was to receive. I thought that my file boxes would shortly follow in a day or 2.
Several weeks went by and I realized that I never received my file boxes that I had ordered. I called Get Organized and they said that my order WAS delivered. After trying to get this straightened out I cancelled my order for the file boxes out of frustration and asked them to credit my account. Get Organized told me that they would not credit my account until I returned the ironing board that was sent to me. After waiting to get the Merchandise Return Label from Get Organized, I mailed back the ironing board on August 12, 2006. Some time around the 1st week in September, 2006, I called Get Organized to check on the status of my refund. I was told that it would take some time to be processed.
Assuming that all things would go well, I put the problem on the backburner. I called Get Organized again on September 21, 2006 to check on the status of my refund. Thomas told me that it was to be processed that very day. I received notification from Discover that the credit had been applied..BUT THEY CREDITED ME FOR ONLY $19.98 (assuming this was the cost of the ironing board), not the $118.13 that they charged me. Again, I called Get Organized on September 22, 2006 to get the problem resolved..again they gave me the same excuse, that it would take some time. I asked to speak to any managers or the credit department.they would not transfer me or give me any kind of access. These people are driving me nuts!
Today, September 22,2006, I tried contacting their Customer Service online with my problem through their own website form and by email. Each time I tried to submit either form or email it was kicked back saying that there was permanent failure to delivery or some other kind of jibberish that that I can't quite comprehend. Upon this happening,I tried to find some other links where someone higher up could be contacted. !st thing under Google was the article Taylor Gifts settles PA suit.......WELL, GUESS WHAT FOLKS?!?!?!? 2 YEARS LATER...THE SAGA CONTINUES.

On February 21, 2006 I placed and order for an Oak Corner Bar at www.taylorgifts.com. During the check-out process, the total came up incorrect and I had to email their customer service for an adjustment. This was handled promptly and I was satisfied with the results. Due to the adjustment, I was told that my order would be shipped out on February 27, 2006 and that I should receive it in 7-10 business days.
By March 24, 2006 my order still had not arrived, therefore I contacted their customer service department again. I spoke with a representative by the name of Jalema Richardson, she told me that if I don't receive it by Monday, March 27, 2006 to call back and that they could FedEx another to me at no charge. On Tuesday, March 28, I contacted customer service again, and informed them that my order still had not arrived. A replacement order was placed, order # 61755140, and I was told that I should receive it within 7 business days. I was told that a tracking # would be mailed to me, but it never was.
Today, Thursday, April 6, 2006, I contacted the customer service department to check the status of my package and was told that it was just shipped on today. I am extremely upset. It has been almost 2 months since my initial order, and yet neither orders, the original or replacement has arrived. I would like to file a complaint against this company for incompetence and deceit. I feel as if I have been continuously lied to and intentionally misled. This is not fair treatment to a customer that has paid for a order and had expectations or receiving a product. I really hate for anyone to ever be treated such as this. Also, I can honestly say that I will not order anything else from this company or any of their affiliates. I will also discourage anyone that I know from doing the same.

1. I ordered 3 day shipping, but only one item came three day, the other two items came in a separate box and were shipped ground and took well over a week to get to me.
2. I contaceted customer service to inquire how and why this happened and was treated very rudely and without answering my question. They tried to tell me it was by fault of UPS. (I called UPS and they informed me the box was shipped Ground by the company, and that UPS does not decide how to ship their customers packages, the customer does.)
3. I contaced Get Organized by email and again they were so rude I could not believe it. A sample of the answer I got: "Your was sent im seperate boxes however we were not informed by UPS tracking as to why they were seperated. The tracking numbers for the deliveries are as follows.
please contact UPS for further information" This answer is barely coherent, let alone good customer service. They had the audacity to shrug it off to UPS.
4. To top it all off, I did not receive the "free gift" they offered for spending $50 or more, which I requested as is necessary to get it. I did not report this becuae I did not feel like getting abused by this company any further.
And last but not least, the products are very sub-standard, not worth the money at all. I will never do business with Get Organized or any Taylor Gifts organization ever again.

I ordered a CD cassette player from Taylors Gifts deferred catalogs and the catalog clearly stated no payments until July 2nd 2005. On May 2nd 2005 Taylor Gifts debit edmy card for 169.00 I called Taylor Gifts and ask them why did they debit my card on may 2nd and that they catalog had no payments until july 2nd 2005 and two week later the CD player stopped working.
I sent the CD player back. Requesting my money back. it has been over twenty days and they have not refunded my money of 169.00. When I called I talked to some lady name Ronnie in the creditdDept. and she was very rude and real smart talking. I ask to speak to mangment. and she told me the manger was busy. I want my money back. I sent them their merchandise back. But they will not give me my money back.
I don't understand why they won't give my 169.00 back. I work very hard for my money. and it's not fair for Taylor Gifts to take it. I have contacted BBB in PA, and no word from them.

In May I made a purchase from Taylor Gifts using my American Express card. On my AmEx June invoice there were two charges made by EMI Reg Easy Saver Club that I had not authorized. When I called EMI (1-800-262-6199) I was told that my credit card information had been provided to them by Taylor Gifts. EMI did tell me that they would issue an immediate credit to my card. However, since I did not authorize Taylor Gifts to give this information to anyone else I felt a complaint to you was appropriate.

Have placed a catalog order with company and had the hardest time trying t get them to ship the order. Was continuously hung up on and told incorrect information. My Credit Card was charged without me receiving my order.
