My experience with Ava’s Flowers was terrible. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day at the end of April to have them delivered the Thursday before Mother’s Day. I was trying to avoid any delays in delivery. I received confirmation that the order had been delivered; however, the flowers were apparently delivered to a wrong address that was nowhere near where they should have been delivered. After numerous attempts at contacting customer service, I finally got ahold of someone. They proceeded to tell me that I had gone and changed the delivery address online right after I had placed my order, which I had not.

After 20 minutes on the phone. They stated that someone would call me back since the florist wasn’t open yet. Someone did call me back about 2 hours later and said that they reprocessed the order and that it might be delivered that day but they couldn’t guarantee that. I received a phone call later that day from my mother telling me that the flowers had been delivered but only after she talked with the delivery driver to give the correct address. The address once again was incorrect, even though I had confirmed earlier on the phone the correct address several times. After this fiasco, I will never order flowers from Ava’s Flowers again!

On May 10, 2023 I ordered by phone conversing with a live person as to how beautiful this bouquet would be, the medium Artisan Lovely Lavender floral arrangement expecting a bouquet of purple and lavender flowers for $87 including delivery. What was delivered was a small bouquet of red, yellow, and orange flowers consisting of two red carnations, orange day lilies and one yellow rose. I understand substitutions but at least use some pastels. Sorely misled by the man who took the order.

I attempted to organize flowers for Mother's day by ordering them on the Thursday prior. I received 10+ emails from Avas over the span of 48 hours; some asking me to verify my credit card, others telling me the bouquet I chose wasn't available, others saying my delivery would be late. Mother's Day is still two days away, but I guess they'll be late! It's impossible to get through to them on the phone and their 'live chat' is just a bot. I ended up sending them a message on Instagram and received a half-hearted response. Horrible customer service experience. Will not use them again.

My order was delivered to the billing address instead of the address of the recipient. I ordered online through what advertised as a local florist. Not true! They refused to help in any way. Had to reorder through another venue. Very disappointing! They send their arrangements through UPS. They also sent a message that the flowers on the website was not available and to choose another item. Choose another florist!

I ordered a $120.00 Sympathy Bouquet and what was sent did not nearly resemble picture on internet. I complained and told them I wanted them to redeliver what was depicted and what I paid for on the internet site. They assured me they would but NEVER did. They are now ignoring all my emails and nobody answers the phone. Do not order from this company! Totally crooked and highway robbery. Despicable organization. Stay away. I wish I had researched them better.

Worse experience we've ever had ordering flowers. We ordered a "Get Well" Teddy bear with 6 balloons early morning for same-day delivery. They used my name for both the patient receiving and the party sending. Rather than call from the hospital, they called that evening asking for patient's name and room number. Which tells me they never made it the hospital for same-day delivery... Then tried to blame it on the hospital's mix-up. After all had been gone over several times on the phone that morning, they added an add'l charge, $28.00 for creative floral arrangement fee... It was a friggin teddy bear with 6 balloons! Save your money and send a gift card from Amazon, Etsy, or local restaurant... We'd have given zero stars if possible.

This company is a fraud! They charged me $89 for some cheap dead flowers that I could have gotten for $10 at for Walmart. It was not the same flowers in the picture they advertised. They also charged extra $20 for same day delivery but didn’t deliver it until the next day. I called the same # on website where I ordered the flowers from to voice my complaint but they kept routing my calls to a voicemail and never returned my calls or emails. Avas Flowers is a fraud and scam!

I ordered flowers to be delivered the next day which was a very important day. When I hadn't heard from the recipient I started calling in the evening. They had never delivered the flowers. They offered to deliver in the next day which was obviously too late. Will never use this company again!

We ordered flowers to be delivered--a dozen white roses. They said they could not fulfill the order so we would need to be satisfied with "designer's choice" for a substitution but it was too late to have them delivered on the day I wanted them delivered. The substitution was not acceptable as it was a vase of cheap, grocery store colored daisies, a couple of unopened lilies and a RED HEART BALLOON. This was supposed to be a sympathy arrangement. AND the person who called me was not associated with any florist on South Padre Island. I will be seeking a full refund.

I ordered a funeral spray for a dear friend's funeral. I ordered it a week before the service. On the day the spray was to be delivered, I received a call saying they couldn’t deliver to the funeral home and could only deliver to an alternate address. UNBELIEVABLE!! They never gave a reasonable explanation. I am absolutely furious. Now we have nothing for the funeral. I will NEVER use this company again and advise anyone looking for a reputable business, look somewhere else.

The website states free same day delivery at the end of checkout and extra fee of 29.99 was applied. I went ahead and paid the difference but the flowers look nothing like the photo. Very disappointed.

Two times I ordered rose flowers to be delivered to my wife as a surprise for her birthday. Order was placed at 7 am to be delivered before 4 pm. By 1130 am they text and emailed requesting to urgently contact them. Called many times, no agent available. By 1230 they call me I answer and said to just make another bouquet with other flowers and to make sure delivered before 4pm. She committed and I thought was good. At 3:30pm they texted and emailed to urgently call them again. Called getting automated response that delivery is on the way. At 3:45 pm they called again this time a male cs apologetics telling me that flowers can not be delivered today but tomorrow!!?? I told him that it is not an option. He put me on hold as I was driving almost arriving at home.

I decided to stop in Walgreens bought a beautiful bouquet of roses and got back in my car, still on hold. Finally he speaks and confirmed to deliver next day and gives me a "deal" offering him to call my wife and apologize??!! Can you believe this business? I told him it costed me 10 minutes to go in Walgreens and got the flowers and the card. Also I strongly urge him to cancel my order and refund right away, which he did. This business will ruin your best days, dates or birthdays without a problem! Strongly not recommended because it happened 2 times with me.

I ordered a floral arrangement for my 89 old year mother in law and they took my order and money for same day delivery; then 5 hours later, at the end of the work day, they texted and said they couldn't deliver for 5 more days. It was a Saturday and too late to find someone else. I was embarrassed and disappointed after I told her to be on the look out for her flowers. I highly recommend NEVER counting on this company for your floral deliveries.

My order was placed through the Denton, Texas store. Large $30 plus added to your charge after you hit “place order”. Supposed service charges. What was totaled as $52 for my order changed to $88 after placing the order. The flowers received were not as pretty as what was displayed on their site. Very deceitful. I rated them 1 star on this site because there was no way to give them a zero.

Do not use this service. $100 worth of flowers was literally a hydrangea blossom, tulip and a carnation in a mason jar. They delivered to place of employment that was closed and was just going to leave it outside. Tried to call to get a refund that was a joke too. Never again!

I ordered on 4/3/2023 flowers to be delivered to my daughter on 4/6/2023. They did not arrive---She was home all day working. I sent several emails (5) on the 7th asking on their website "where is my stuff." They said that the flowers were delivered, which was not true, but they would check. On Saturday 4/8/2023 my daughter received a call from the office that they had received her flowers---wasn't her address they delivered them to. There was a Service Fee of $24.95 tagged on to the charges. No emails, text or phone calls that the flowers were delivered ---Customer service is non-existent. Flowers were fine but you would do just as well purchasing from the grocery store & having them delivered via Uber--They would arrive.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I ordered a large floral arrangement for my mother who is in the hospital. I order Saturday morning and had the lady to check to make sure it would arrive on that day being Sunday was Easter. She put me on hold and guaranteed me it would arrive that day. Well not only did it not arrive Saturday and Sunday, but Monday from Albertsons Grocery store. I could not talk to anybody all weekend. Someone Finally called me Monday gave me a 20.00 discount and delivered the flowers. For over 100,00 dollars the vase was the size of my hand. I am livid!!! I had to order another floral arrangement from a local flower shop in that city. If you try to get your money back or cancel good luck. Just don’t waste your time or money with this business. What an embarrassment you guys are to rip off people that are already stressed. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Paid $85 to have a bouquet sent to a friend who lost a loved one. I was SO embarrassed to see what she received. I would not have even cared if the bouquet did not even have any of the flowers from the arrangement I picked out as long as the arrangement was nice BUT NOT even CLOSE. It was literally a vase with 4 CLOSED rose buds and 3 lily BUDS shoved in the middle of a ton of green filler. Looked like a kid went out and picked them and put them in mom's vase. The driver then left them at the wrong house instead of calling the number provided to verify the location. Luckily the neighbor where they were left on the porch, knew my friend and took them to her. After filing a complaint, I was told if I send them back, they would refund me. Yes let me ask a grieving person to send back the flowers she just received! CRAZY. Do NOT waste your money. Call a florist directly. You are just paying them to be the middle man.

I ordered flowers for My daughter's birthday. I specifically asked if they were located in Murrieta Ca and they LIED and said they were. I was calling for the $39.99 and she upsold me to the “Luxury” Boquet. I asked for a balloon and a card. I asked for it to be delivered before 10am. She said, "Of course. I will put a note for our driver to get it on the first delivery run." LIES. As of 10:50am, they had no idea where the flowers are. When I called this morning asking why they were not yet delivered, she says: "I will have to contact the local florist to see where they are." Local florist? You told me YOU were the local florist. LIES. Took 20 minutes on hold to find out where the flowers were. They’re an hour late but they are on the truck. Now my daughter knows they are coming because I had to call and see if they arrived. They ruined it for me and they DO NOT CARE. This bouquet BETTER be gorgeous!!

Do NOT ORDER FROM THEM. It is a scam!!!! I ordered an arrangement for my sister for her birthday. She has Stage4 cancer as well and it was important that she receive these flowers. They call me at the END of the day to say they could not deliver. All other flower shops are closed at this time! This is a 3rd party vendor with no care in the world whether you get your arrangement or not!!!

Customer service agent lied from the start of the call to the end of the call telling me they could get flowers delivered locally here within an hour and a 1/2. Ruined my daughter's 21st birthday surprise to have flowers delivered to her work. Then when I called for my refund they tried to gaslight me and make it my issue and not refund the money. Luckily I'm trained to work with shysters in business with a collections background so I was able to get them to refund the money immediately however I will be checking with my credit card company and filing A formal complaint on their company. Don't even think of doing business with this company. R - U - N to another Florist if you want to order flowers!

Horrible horrible flower delivery. My father passed away and I made sure that my flowers would be delivered to the funeral home. It never made it. My sister’s order did not arrive either. Customer service put me on hold forever also. I would give this place minus 5 stars.

I purchased a basket that was supposed to have a pineapple, chocolate, wafers, jam, cheese, fruit and other others for over $100 after fees or something similar. What was received was 6 bruised bananas, 10 red/green apples and two small packs of grapes still wrapped as if they picked it up from the grocery store. I was offered a $6 refund and a delivery of crackers and chocolate or a $40 refund with nothing else delivered or corrected.

SPEECHLESS, DISAPPOINTED, DISGUSTED, EMBARRASSED. I recently lost a close college friend who lives out of state, my friends and I wanted to send a arrangement to honor her life. First I searched for a Birmingham AL Florist and was misled by Ava Flowers thinking they were a local florist. I didn't catch that they were not local but went ahead with my order and I should have known at the point it would be a problem. I spoke with a agent everyday until delivery, they didn't deliver before 2:30pm when I paid a extra charge for delivery prior to 2:30pm, as a matter of fact they delivered 30 min before the funeral home closed. After me tracking my order and making several calls to get it delivered before the funeral home closed.

Since we were out of state we asked that a image of the arrangement be sent to confirm what we ordered was delivered. It took them 4 days to get me a picture and I now understand why, they provided a arrangement that someone did in their home, it wasn't the right color, size and the banner I paid 9.99 for to say Beloved Friend the banner was hand written, no REALLY someone took a marker and wrote Beloved Friend and put it on the arrangement. They have offered me a $80 dollar refund lol, so now I am here to join the other disgruntled customer about their experience with this fraudulent company!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM AVAS FLOWERS.

The roses were in full bloom when delivered and did not last. Whenever I have had roses delivered they were always buds that opened 2-3 days later and therefore lasted more than a week. I tried contacting their customer service three times. I requested replacement three times for the flowers according to their guarantee -- and I never heard back. I tried calling twice and tried leaving a voicemail and it was a recorded message saying they were busy without an option to leave a voicemail.

Absolute SCAM. They claim "same day" delivery, charged in excess as well for a "service charge" and literally canceled my order when I inquired about the status. There is no way to speak to a human or customer service rep either. Wow. Shame on you, Avas Flowers. Seems my "refund" will take a while to post as well? Appalling.

I looked at their website and carefully reviewed all the different floral arrangements to choose from, as well as the cost. I finally decided on "She's Got Style She Got Grace". A beautiful arrangement of bright pinks and deep purple pictured in a vase with a deep purple ribbon. I place this ordered for my granddaughter, who had just been honored with a very prestige's award. I wanted to send her something special to show her how proud I am of her. I placed my order on a Friday and was told it would be delivered later that afternoon. Unfortunately, they were not delivered until the following Tuesday. I feel their advertising is bit misleading, I don't understand why the show all the different floral arrangements you get to choice from, and then deliver something totally different, without letting you know. I send a lot of flowers to my grandkids, family and friends for a lot of different occasions.

I have now learned, that it is important to have them send me a picture once it's delivered so that I know it's similar to what I ordered. I know that sometimes certain flowers are not in stock, so it may be a little different. But when I spend that kind of money, I want to confirm that I got my moneys worth. Needless to say, I'm one very disappointed customer!!

I hope they can sleep at night!! The flowers sent were a poor representation of the image provided on their website What a joke... Do NOT trust this company to provide a quality product. Do NOT use their services, PERIOD. It is a mockery to say that their service even met 10% of my expectations. DO NOT get swindled by these con-artists, like I did. And, watch out for their service fee. It is nearly as much as the purchased item.

I ordered what I thought would be a beautiful bouquet of flowers back in 2019 from Avas Flowers and was shocked (and embarrassed) when I saw what was delivered. I swore to never order from them again because their bouquets are sad and their customer service is inexistent. I forgot it was Avas flowers and made that same mistake this weekend. I paid $98.36 and the bouquet that was delivered was pitiful. Not to mention I specifically paid for the “as shown” size to avoid this AND expedited delivery. My bouquet was delivered a day late and it looked like it was work $12.99 AT MOST. It’s almost comedic that the bouquets are so far from what they advertise that it feels like a poor joke. My own fault for purchasing again.
