    If I could rate a zero, I would. For an upcoming delivery, one should not have to call 7 times for failed deliveries. One should not be lied to stating there were delivery issues when being delivered to a business that was open from 9am- 9pm and could not deliver promptly by 5pm. One should not be called by another name and when corrected, being told that they were holding multiple calls at the same time. One should not be told that they contacted the florist and after being transferred to a Supervisor, being told they couldn't reach the florist.

    The final straw, I called at 1230pm and told that the delivery might happen by 2pm later to find out from the Recipient that they were delivered at 10am. A 1.5 hr conversation could have been avoided if they had systems in place that notified them of updates. Calling Customer Service was a nightmare. For a "family run" operation, one would think honesty would be an important matter to them. I received a photo of what was delivered which is not remotely close to what I ordered. Hiddens fees! It wasn't until after I paid and received a receipt, there was a 25.00 "service charge" on top of a delivery fee. For the amount I paid, i could have purchased a better floral arrangement at Target or Walmart. Horrible experience.

    This company is an absolute scam. They come up as a local florist but aren’t. They offered free shipping but added a $30 shipping fee. AFTER I selected a bouquet, shipping information, and paid, they emailed me stating they couldn’t make the bouquet they offered and had me select a different one. They also advised that due to the busy holiday, they couldn’t guarantee shipping on the Sunday I selected but advised that it would at least come the Friday or Saturday before. They sent a random, garbage bouquet via FedEx that arrived AFTER the holiday. This company is absolute trash. I’ll be submitting FTC and BBB complaints in hopes that it might somehow help others to avoid this absolute scam.

    This was a terrible experience. Be aware!! First of all it's not actual store it's a delivery company. I ordered flowers for mother's day. It's showed price of $96 dollar after all fees and delivery. A lot but I said mother's day let's go crazy. I wanted to look as shown on pics. When my mom sent the pics it look like $20 Publix and I also found out they actually charged me $122 cause of hidden $26 service fee. Terrible. Very upset. Stay away!!! Should've took my mom to a SP.

    Unbelievable!!!. The flowers my wife received were totally ugly from the picture shown online for Mother's Day, and my wife was not too happy about it. Went to a local store and found a beautiful set for $40 less, and very bulky flowers. I placed this order from Ava's because I do not have time to stop by a store, but it was not worth it!... Please don't buy anything from them. The card that came with the flowers it was just a simple paper with a cheap print.... A scan bar code to scan.... So be careful, do not scan because it could be getting information about you from your phones!... I hope they return my money. I do not know how they stay in business with more than 3,000 reviews, but they are ALL BAD!!..

    We contacted Avas Flowers to send flowers to my SIL who just gave birth in Memphis Saturday. They got back to me later Sunday to say they were busy and they wouldn't be there until Monday. Since my SIL had an emergency csection she was being held later so I said ok. They said the flowers would be there before 1pm. That time came and went and no flowers.

    We tried to call them several times during Monday to find out where the flowers were or if we could change the address for delivery. We ended up going around in circles on the phone trying to contact them. It is NOT an easy process at all. We even went back to the hospital and left our name and number with the nurses in case the flowers came later. Nothing had arrived from Avas flowers. You would think a trustworthy company would try and contact us to tell us the flowers were not dropped off and where could they taker them. I heard nothing. But they had no problem taking my money. I have worked my whole life in customer service and Avas fails miserably at this. They take your money but don't deliver the product. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

    I ordered a Spring Tulips Bouquet, which was supposed to feature a variety of colorful tulips arranged in a vibrant vase—perfect for a Mother's Day gift. However, what I received was quite disappointing. Instead of the bright and lively arrangement I expected, I got a very dull alternative. The bouquet consisted of white tulips placed in a clear glass bowl, and it seemed like all the life had been drained from it.

    I attempted to contact customer service and was told electronically that a ticket had been created. However, there was no way to reach a live person for support. Later, I discovered that all the reviews on the website appeared to be fake or filtered to only showcase 5-star ratings on the products page. After leaving a 1-star review, I noticed that it was not posted, and I couldn't find any lower-rated reviews anywhere. After searching online further, I realized that this site has a bad reputation and is considered a scam by many. I would strongly advise staying away from this business.

    My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to Big Bear CA and ended up being delivered to someone in NY. He has called, entered information on the website and no one has returned his call. This cost us $100.00 so I think this place is ripping people off.

    I received nothing close to the Luxury Red, White and you arrangement my significant other ordered. The greenery is even artificial. Horrible experience. Below is a photo of what was ordered vs what was recieved. Definitely not worth $122!!

    I live in Ohio and ordered flowers for my Daughters first Mother’s Day. She moved to Las Vegas 1 month ago. When she sent me a pic of the arrangement I was so upset. Not only did it not even come close to the photo. They were all dead. This arrangement cost 93.00. How embarrassing for a business to even send them out the door. I have spent hours trying to contact customer support. Online and calling several times. I will never again use a business like this. I will find a family operated floral shop. Shame on you Avas Flowers!!!

    What a scam! They sneak in Insane service fees to your order. If you try to contact customer support you get routed to some 3rd world answering service with terrible audio. It sounded like it was the Philippines based on the people's accents. They then lie about who they are. The lady with an obvious and thick ** accent tried to tell me she was **. So I spoke to her in Spanish. She couldn't understand a word of Spanish and then continued lying about her background... which still didn't explain her thick accent. Anyway, take your business some a more truthful and ethical business. This is just a fraudulent service.

    I thought they were a local florist. They have a great website and beautiful pictures of flowers. The order would not complete online, so I called only to find out I was ordering from a non-local company. The phone call quickly felt like a scam, I asked to cancel and the representative became argumentative, rude and proceeded to send me multiple texts about my "order". Beware, find a local florist when ordering.

    Here is the email I sent to their email online, which bounced back. I just tried to order flowers for Mother's Day at your website. I entered all my information and I ensured that only necessary cookies were chosen, but as I hit okay, I saw all cookies were suddenly chosen, so it opted me in after I very deliberately opted out. That is complaint #1.

    Complaint 2. When searching online, I saw that Avas had a Mother's Day sale with free delivery in Boise, ID. I chose a small bouquet that with all costs was going to be $44 and change. It took me to a Link page that automatically used my business credit card. Hmmm. I manually entered another card because this was not a business expense, and it would not let me complete the purchase. I called the 800 number and took a lot of time with the service person re-entering all the info. We got to the payment area, and it was $80. Talk about a bait and switch. I asked the lady if we had accidentally bought two bouquets and she said it was a $40 service fee and there was nothing she could do. I told the service person to cancel the order and she assured me it would be canceled.

    Even with the cancellation, I am not happy. I am a senior, and I had to spend almost an hour of my time entering data, dealing with a service person, only to say I am not completing this purchase. AND you switched my cookie choice from "only necessary" to enabling all cookies. I am now very suspicous of your business practices and I am requesting that all my information be deleted from your system and any cookies be disabled. You are NOT to sell my information nor that of my daughter-in-law. On no screen did it mention this large "service fee," nor do I give you permission to use my information, nor did I opt in to cookies. This is no way to run a legitimate business.

    Don’t trust the photos on this site as what you will be getting delivered. Yes, they include the disclaimer, but how hard is it to put together 12 stems of roses in a small vase? The flowers used were obviously cheap and I definitely paid way too much money (that included a $30 service fee that isn’t pre-disclosed when adding items to the cart) to not get at least 12 roses in the arrangement I paid almost $100 for. Will never use this “service” again.

    There is hidden service fee. My $64.99 floral arrangement ended up being $106.19 because of the hidden fee. I would have ordered from somewhere else had I known & now customer service is hiding.

    AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! Total scam. They agreed to a delivery date, inexplicably missed it and when they finally attempted the delivery five days late my friend had been discharged from the hospital and they couldn't make the delivery. Also - the $111 arrangement was from SAFEWAY. Umm - really? Please take your business elsewhere. These people need to be shut down.

    To sum it up - this company gets away with stealing. Period. I paid them $75 for a bouquet to be delivered to my friend. It was never delivered... When I inquired about who the 3rd party florist was they refused to answer or give help. This company is profiting off of false advertising and lies. All the 1-star reviews are there for a reason. I will be turning in a complaint to the FTC. I suggest anyone else who has been scammed out of money by them, do the same.

    Avas is horrible to order from. Do not spend your money here! Plant dish garden with flowers did not look like the picture. Very small. Yellow Sunshine Basket was supposed to be yellow flowers, were actually purple flowers! Paid for 2 mylar balloons $ 6.99 each that was never received/attached to the plant. Free delivery my ass! $9.99 charged, then credited back. Service fee of $ 29.43 was charged. WTF is the service fee???? They were supposed to let me know of approximate time for delivery so I could notify the recipient getting the gift... No one called. Left message to speak with someone several times. No one returned my call. Now, it is past 24 hours after delivery. Please do not order from Avas!

    Horrid service. I scheduled delivery for 5/3 and by 5/5 they hadn't arrived. When I called they said "oh whoops that address is outside of our delivery area" and then would not give me a refund for fully undelivered flowers. Have to dispute the charge on my credit card and hope I get it back. DO NOT ORDER.

    I ordered a Peace Lily for a sympathy plant. It was delivered the same day and My friend called to thank me for it. I assumed it was what I ordered but at a time like this, I didn’t ask for details. That was 2 weeks ago. I spoke with her this morning and she thanked me again. I told her I wanted her to have a Peace Lily so she could watch it flower and remember her baby by. She told me she didn’t know what it was but it was NOT a Peace lily. She sent me a picturing it and it was a Corn Plant. I contacted customer service and after extended conversation, I was offered a small refund. Better than nothing but nowhere near enough for what was delivered. I definitely do not recommend Ava’s Flowers to anyone. They are not a florist, they are apparently a broker. I thought I was calling a real florist, but being out of state I had no way of knowing. From now on, I will request the recipient text me a picture of the flowers if I can’t be there myself.

    The company's online service took my order for same-day delivery, confirmed it, then an hour plus later sent me a text informing me my order could not be processed same day and changed delivery to tomorrow without consent. When I tried to reach a live person, I was forced to choose phone options that did not address my problem and would not allow me to talk to customer service. I had to wait on a callback that took another 30 minutes on a phone line where I could hardly hear the service person, and by the time I reached the end of that back and forth on hold, it was too late to make another arrangement with a local shop. I missed my opportunity to send flowers for a very important reason, and your company is completely responsible for this failure.

    Then, when I asked to cancel the order because the person will no longer be available to receive it on the date they chose for me, I was told that I had to wait for them to contact the local shop to cancel, and if they can cancel with the local shop, then they’ll give me my money back. Really? They changed my order without my consent and they want me to wait for them to see if they can get their credit with the local shop before they give me my money back. This company is unbelievable, and I will never use them or recommend them to anyone. I will make a complaint with Navy Federal Credit Union to have them give me my money back and collect from this terrible company.

    This is the worst florist I have ever encountered. I ordered a large floral arrangement for my sister birthday. It was to be delivered on her birthday. They notified me on her birthday that they didn't not have all the flowers. They assured they will deliver the next day. I paid 115.00 for this order that was not only late but the poorest quality of flowers were used. The arrangement was a size of a bouquet. This was a serious joke on me. Never again will I use this company. I would advise you do the same. Stay far away from them. This was suppose to have a majority of sunflowers. I only see one. They got one star because you can't go any further without selecting one.

    Although my order arrived when scheduled, it was nowhere near similar to the arrangement pictured on the site. I am not real surprised by that nowadays, but what I was surprised by was the service fee amount that that they quietly tacked on at the end that was over half the amount of the cost of the flowers! I will never use this site again and urge everyone to avoid this company.

    1. They tell you they can deliver the date you choose and they will deliver a substitution to the new date. I chose an $80+ beautiful bouquet to be delivered the next day.
    2. Customer service is horrendous! I expected at least something decent.
    3. I got a very small all-wilted vase, except for 2 decent roses! (See pictures.) I could have gotten a gorgeous, fresh flowers bouquet at almost any grocery store!
    4. I will definitely not recommend this organization to anyone I know.
    5. No person in this industry would send these to anyone!!
    6. This organization does not deserve to be open for business!

    7. The only fault I had was not reading the reviews first and trusting that they would provide good service.

    They advertise as local but they are not. They sent a cheap arrangement. Not even flowers I ordered. The delivery was late. They said they would redeliver same day. They lied that they tried to make the delivery and would be made the following day. As of this writing delivery has not yet been made.

    I had ordered a mylar balloon that did not come with the flowers sent to a friend. I tried for at least three hours to connect with this company, and there was no way to do so. The phone number just sends you to a bot, which puts you in a never ending circular loop. The extra "service fee" of $25.82 that showed up on checkout was totally unexpected. I had a coupon for free delivery, so this was a very negative surprise. I thought they were local to the friend I was sending the flowers to, but they have this way of making it seem like they are, when they are in fact a very large company that has no customer service whatsoever. Save yourself the extreme frustration of trying to connect with this company should anything go wrong with your order. I am persistent, and it is impossible to do so.

    I ordered a spray of flowers to be delivered to the funeral home. All information was taken and the sale finalized, my credit card charged. About an hour later, I received a email stating there was a problem with my order. I called and they said they could not deliver to the funeral home and wanted to deliver a large spray on a stand to their house. I told them, NO! I would never ask a family grieving to have to deliver the flowers to their own family's funeral! Then I had to argue for a refund. They wanted to give store credit. Then after several times being placed on hold for 15 minutes + many many times, they offered 50% discount on my next order if they got to keep my money. Needless to say, I did get a refund but not until I went through a lot of stress having to demand a refund! AVOID this COMPANY if you want peace of mind.

    I've never left a review before, never mind a bad one, but here it goes! I will never use Avas Flowers again, nor will I recommend them. They are not user friendly, and they give you the run around when you're on the phone with them! Once they give you the okay that the flowers will be delivered the next day, they never show up!! It took me over a week to get it straightened out, and They should be delivered today. We'll see!! STAY AWAY FROM AVAS!!

    BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a bouquet, chocolate strawberries, and balloons for my husband's 50th birthday. I immediately received an email that they could not fulfill the order. I called the company and the operator assured me, no, my exact order would be delivered on time. Day before the birthday, I get another such email and call the company again. Sure enough, this time they inform me they cannot fulfill the order, nor can they deliver on the day! All they can send is a bouquet. They did offer a partial refund. I was so disappointed! Moreover, the customer service is TERRIBLE! Don't waste your time or money with Avas Flowers!
