False advertising. My mom sent me flowers through this company because I got married. They claimed same day delivery, she picked a bouquet and upsized it. They called back after saying, "Oh sorry can't do same day delivery." Ok they'll be in water she thought, not the end of the world. They show up, NOT what she ordered, I could have bought nicer flowers from Walmart! And they weren't even in water, they were crunchy and half dead! They were extremely hard to get in contact with after the fact. They did give a 50% refund but it should have been a full refund. They delivered dried out flowers that were half the size of what was ordered and not even close to the photo of the flowers that were chosen. False advertising at its finest. Buy at own risk.

Very disappointed in my experience for ordering flowers with this company. They did not post any of their service fees ahead of time and the service fee was a good $25 on top of whatever I was going to spend anyway. I tried to contact them and let them know that I did not want to proceed with the order because of this reason. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get anybody to answer the phone. Do not use this florist because he will be surprised with a huge so-called service fee.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Sales rep promised they’d deliver the arrangement for my mother’s 70th birthday. They charged me and never delivered anything. I called 3 times asking for my refund and they just put you on hold until you hang up. How hasn’t this business been shut down for scamming!?

Local florists should be up in arms about this company! They are one of the reasons I will never order flowers for anyone EVER! My son ordered a bouquet for my birthday. In addition to them being poorly arranged and skimpy, the flowers barely lasted 3 days. I called immediately and the young lady apologized and said she would put in a ticket (in barely understandable English). I kept asking who the local florist was who filled the order, but she kept changing the subject. I expected to hear from the florist with the idea that the flowers would be replaced. Nothing happened.

The service was absolutely horrible! They completely screwed up the order delivery address. Their prices are outrageous, and they sent eight tulips instead of more than 15 as pictured in the photo that I paid $95.27 for. I wish I could give them less than one star. Terrible looking arrangement, total lack of communication from customer service, do not do not throw away your money on these scammers!

Absolutely terrible experience with Avas Flowers. Delivered the wrong day as specified, arrived damaged and just left on the front porch. I paid 100 dollars for the flowers and received what looked like 19.00-dollar flowers. I called them and they never replaced it like promised. Their customer service is horrible as well. It is all LIES!!!!

Worst service ever and it was a nice company but service has go down. Place order to get delivered 3/27, they delivered 3/28. When visitations were already over for this person and then when I tried to call them, I got hung up / disconnected 7 times. Almost 3 hrs later state will refund. Someone will call from billing. Never received a call.

Was horrible! Ordered flowers for my Uncle's funeral. They never showed up! They asked if they could send the arrangement to my aunt's house! It was $200.00 arrangement! I will never use them again. They lied on the phone and said they were local to TN.

Ordered flowers and was told they could deliver same day. A few minutes later I got an email that said to pick another day. So I tried numerous ways and numerous times to get someone to call me back and I have yet to get it resolved. I do not want to pick another day. It was to a bday and I paid extra for that convenience. Customer service is non existent and yes my card has already been charged unfortunately. Still waiting for a call back. I have a feeling it isn’t gonna happen. Be aware!

$100.19 Arrangement did not arrive. Avas Flowers said flowers were signed for but cannot provide by who, what delivery service was used or the florist where flowers came from. The recipient is my 98 yo mother in full time care. The receptionist logbook shows no deliveries over three days associated to the delivery of these flowers. SCAM!

Do not use AVAS. They charge a $10 delivery fee AND a $25 Service Fee. But their service is unreliable. They accepted my order for delivery the following day, but 2 days later emailed me to say the roses and carnations mix was unavailable. In my opinion AVAS is a scam. I’ll never deal with them again for delivery anywhere in the US…

These people don’t deserve ANY stars! I wish I could put them out of business. They are NOT florists. They’re a call center that calls in your order to their provider. I chose a bouquet from their photos and then upgraded it to the next size larger. I ended up with a bouquet less than 1/10th the size of the smaller one I didn’t pick! When I complained (I literally cried when I saw it) they said they would deliver a better one. The recipient waited all day and they never came. I would love to see a class action lawsuit so big it would put these shysters out of business! First pic is the smaller version of what I chose, I paid more to upgrade from this. The second pic is what they delivered.

Rating:0. I should have read the reviews before ordering with them. Tried to give a local company/small business a shot a flower delivery and they failed tremendously. Families don’t need their poor customer service during grieving times. Still waiting on refund of $150. I understand why some people choose larger delivery companies like Amazon and FTD. Apparently, this company cannot follow directions or utilize a gps for delivery! Regretting not going with Amazon or FTD!

This scamming company deserves ZERO STARS!!! It was like pulling teeth trying to get my money back!! I paid $86.15 on 3/11/26 to be delivered to my wife at 11:30 the same day. She didn't bring them home that evening because they were never received!! It was supposed to be a surprise for her, so I said nothing to her that evening. I received an email saying the flowers were delivered, so I was expecting a call from her, being excited, which I didn't get, so I called her. From there, I knew I was SCAMMED!! The money finally went back to my account a week later!! LESSON LEARNED. 🤬

After being assured they could deliver flowers on my daughter's birthday, the next morning I receive a message that there is a problem with delivery and it will be delayed at least a day. So if you want to ensure delivery on a special date/occasion, my lesson is to use a local flower shop.

If I could give a one star I would. I am in Washington state and ordering for a friend in California, I selected rush order (before 2pm) Monday the 16th. I randomly checked my email and saw that they said they attempted to call me and couldn’t deliver the flowers (they never called me). I went to the website to call customer service and none of the 3 numbers I found were in service and there’s no chat to talk to a live person. I got another email while I was at work around 3:09am saying the same thing (that they tried to contact me). Not true! I am calling my bank and disputing because they said someone would call me soon for the cancellation. I don’t believe it. I went off of the reviews off of their website, I should have seen the real reviews first. Sad.

I needed flowers fast. I ordered at 2pm and was promised a delivery by 5pm. This never happened. I continued calling and calling and was told each time flowers in route. ALL LIES!!!! Also, when it was totaled $30 dollars was added to delivery of flowers for nothing. So...my daughter's anniversary was spend crying over flowers never received.

Would not ever buy from them again. They messed up virtually everything on my order due to the apparent language barrier between my English and the Hispanic on the other end of the line. After repeatedly informing her of the wrong info she was repeating to me she still used it. I then went on line and corrected it but the flowers for my mom never arrived. 6 hours later I finally beat the system and was able to get ahold of a human only to be disconnected, then lied to and finally a partial refund and late flowers. Had I known this was not a real flower shop but only a middle man I would not have ever used in the first place. So if speedy and efficient is what you're looking for stay away. And oh yea they tack 35 dollars on to every order as a service charge so it make zero sense to use them.

I made the order today and I am waiting to see if it shows up, after the reviews, I'm skeptical. The reason I rated my experience before I know if it delivers, is because my $40 arrangement cost me $71. Of the $31 of extra charges, five dollars was tax and $26 was a "service fee" that was never mentioned in the check out. It was added on out the door, which at that point it appears, is too late. To me, this is a greasy way of doing business. If the flowers show up, I'll be surprised, if they show up and look like the image, I'll be shocked. But I do know they will charge you hidden fees. Stay away from Avas Flowers.

The arrangement was completely different from what was advertised, and the quality was very poor. For the price I paid, this was unacceptable. I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Avas Flowers. Based on my experience, it felt like a complete rip-off.

I ordered a yellow sympathy spray for a celebration of life that I was not going to be to attend, the cost of that was $124.99 for a small spray. The picture of what I thought I was ordering was beautiful. It had roses, mums, greenery and some other flowers in it and was very full. What I received however was a vase with 24 daisies and 12 roses. I was absolutely horrified that I spent $163 total for something I wouldn’t have spent $50 on!! Avas flowers did a full refund on the order and will be picking it up on Monday, but this kind of business management is completely ridiculous. I am absolutely disgusted and will never use or refer someone to Ava‘s flowers ever ever again.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a florist. I ordered birthday flowers well in advance, and not only were they never delivered, but I couldn’t reach a single real person for help. For almost a week I’ve been trying to get answers, and all I received was an automated text telling me to “check my email” — except there was no email at all. This company completely failed on communication, reliability, and basic customer service. Do not trust them with important occasions. They will leave you disappointed and without the flowers you paid for.

I placed an order for a $300 arrangement for a funeral with 2 days advanced notice. I spoke to a live agent to place the order as it needed to arrive by 9:30AM. The agent added a delivery note with special instructions as AvasFlowers std delivery is typically by noon. At 11AM it was not yet delivered because the special instructions were ignored. When I called for a refund they offered be $20 discount and wanted to deliver the flowers. I had to insist for a full refund as it was too late for the service. I would not have used AvasFlowers had I read their reviews in advance. They are accurate. Do not recommend.

I ordered a large fireside funeral basket and received a small table-top basket that a tv remote control was actually longer than the entire width of the arrangement. One star is not fair, as it shows in your website, it’s despicable. The flowers arrived around 3 pm. I arrived around 6:30 to the wake. The website says to call within 24 hours of delivery if there’s an issue. After the wake, I called and it was closed. The next morning, I called and it was still closed. I couldn’t call later in the morning as the funeral was at 9. At the lunch gathering after the funeral, I had to wait about 40 minutes to talk to someone who could help, as I needed to get this resolved before 3. They kept saying they were sorry and offered to redeliver the item I chose. This, even after I explained that the wake and funeral were now over.
They then wanted to send the flowers to the house… I’ll pause there so you can get the feeling of how difficult they make it to get your money back from an embarrassing delivery. After about 25 more minutes talking with the manager who kept adding me for the same information over and over in order for her to be able to process the refund, I lost it, and told her I could no longer waste time away from my family to give her all the details for the 5th time, and that I was expecting a full refund and I could call them the next day. Within an hour, she issued the full refund, without me needing to repeat the details again. The system they use is beneath anything I’ve ever come across. Unfortunately, on this site, I cannot post a picture side by side for you to see the difference between what I ordered and what was sent. But I will post that on a different site if you care to look. I would absolutely never recommend this business to anyone.

I wish I had seen these reviews before placing my order. I ordered the luxury lovely lavender bouquet for $126. It was supposed to be extra large in size and in blue, purple and white flowers with a coordinating ribbon and card. Not one blue or purple flower in the bouquet. Nor was it luxury or have a ribbon. Looks like a bouquet bought from a corner street vendor. I contacted the company and they said their customer service would contact me. It’s been over a day and no contact. Don’t use Avas Flowers!!

Buyer Beware: Avas Flowers is not a local company in Louisiana. I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers because it said on the website same day delivery. After my order was placed and processed, I received an email (immediately after) saying my order could not be delivered today. That was the only reason I chose them. I received numerous text, voicemails and emails asking me to return their call. It took 10 minutes to be connected with a person. Then the representative continued to offer me discounts on my next order. I requested a refund and it took 6 more minutes to "process" my request. They did agree to a refund but I have to wait 3-5 business days to get my money back AND had to find another company to deliver the flowers today.

We ordered 2 dozen pink flowers, a nice vase, 4 Mylar balloons, 4 latex balloons, and a teddy bear. Our family member received 1 dozen flowers, 1 balloon, and a teddy bear. What the heck happened to the rest of the order?? We paid over $250 for this order. We are more than upset at the service and the arrangement. When I told them how upset I was, I was told to calm down. I am one to read the reviews however we thought Ava’s flowers was a local florist in Ashland, MA. They are NOT! The flowers actually came from Viva’s Flower Shop in Framingham MA. We will never ever use Ava’s Flowers again!! Never!! What a scam!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to this time. Absolutely the WORST experience with a floral delivery I've ever had! I tried to order a floral arrangement for a funeral. Confirmed same day delivery. Paid. 1 digit was off in the zip code, so I tried to contact customer service. There is literally no way to contact them! Only a call center in the Philippines that can only place orders but nothing else. If you reach them, they transfer you back to the line that says it's connecting you, then hangs up every time. Then they send a bunch of automated emails saying "urgent, call us immediately about your order" and also "we have tried unsuccessfully to reach you." Nobody called. Can't get them on the phone. Options on website don't work. Nothing works. Flowers were never delivered. Charge cleared and was taken out of my account. No refund. DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS.

I had ordered my daughter flowers for Valentine's Day as she lives in AZ and I live in WI. Well, I was charged 83.00 for flowers that you could purchase at Walmart for $12. Not even in a vase. Flowers were $44 plus they added a service charge of $27.

Easy to buy of course, but once I got the flowers I did not pay for a day later than the date I asked for it was impossible to get in touch with a real person for any customer service support. I did not get my money back and I would not recommend this service to anyone.

NEVER order through this company! I always check reviews first and I didn't on this company which seemed to be almost all negative. They emailed me that they weren't able to send the arrangement that I wanted and gave me a choice of three others which I did not like so. I canceled my arrangement three times and they still sent it! Calling MasterCard for my credit!

Well if I rate this as a -1star I would. It started with a search for a local forest. Avas was the first one stating they served my town. I placed an order for $54. 30 minutes later I get an email stating the flowers were not available but I could order from a list for the same price. So I did an was charged $113 for a dozen roses and 12 Chocolate covered Strawberries. They shipped on Thursday for delivery on Saturday Valentine's day. Valentine's day I get a notice the delivery is postponed to Monday. 5 days with Strawberries out of the refrigerator and spoiled flowers. Old and wilted. So I refused the delivery and requested a refund. No response from Avas to date.

I am sad to say, that I should have read the reviews before purchasing. I ordered from Avas, it appeared to be "in the area" that the recipient lived. I specifically noted absolutely no lilies; I ordered an arrangement with no lilies. The following morning was told that the arrangement was unavailable and they asked which one id like. I selected sunflowers. The order was delivered, however, it was not sunflowers and had lilies all throughout the arrangement. I am lucky the recipient sent a picture to me. They have a cat and lilies are extremely toxic to cats. I would have proceeded to think it was sunflowers they received. I am insanely disappointed in the service.

The wrong date was requested for a funeral and I called to ask for a refund since the service was over and no flowers came. They kept saying no, I could have a coupon or credit or send them to the home. I told them I had no way of knowing their address or phone but no luck. After an extremely sad funeral I was brought to tears and was shaking sobbing on the phone to just get a refund. Such an emotional anxiety time after a funeral that was already sad since it was for a child of my dear friends. Cried on the phone for over 18 minutes before they finally gave me a refund. So uncaring, will never use them again. Terrible company.

In 2026 a family emergency meant I couldn’t be with my wife, so I arranged to have two dozen roses delivered to her business by Ava’s Flowers. The flowers were never delivered. $200 down the drain. I contacted Ava’s Flowers to track the delivery and was unable to reach a human being, but chat bots and automated phone-tree voices confidently assured me that my order had been delivered within the acceptable time frame. My wife’s office was open and staffed during that time, and I indicated on my order that it was a business and the order needed to be completed during normal business hours.
I lodged complaints, I asked for evidence of delivery. These were answered with automated emails that simply said that my order was delivered. I was finally able to speak to a human being by calling the number for placing new orders - that person was lovely, and said I’d be contacted in the next hour by someone in the correct department. That phone call never came. Ava’s Flowers robbed me. Either through faulty internal controls, flawed customer service protocols, or intentional fraud. DO NOT use Ava’s Flowers. I’m $200 poorer, but you don’t have to be.

Avas Flowers failed to deliver flowers as promised at time of order. Customer Support line is inoperable (855-607-7710). I placed daily calls with their order number (877-638-3303) in an attempt to resolve the failed delivery. The staff is friendly but incapable of correcting issues. After a week of daily phone calls to the company on their only operable phone line, I only received automated replies via voice mail and emails... No response from a real person. I was left with the only option of disputing the charge directly with my credit card company.

Hands down the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. In short, The delivery date got changed without my consent (made for the day after in which the business that they were being sent to was not open), literally 3 hrs. total on the phone with their customer support, the wrong flowers were sent (which were sub-par at best and I could've gotten the same thing but better quality at my local grocery store for half the price!). And to top off everything, the flowers were literally THREE days late from the delivery date! I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this company and will NEVER be doing business with Avas Flowers again.

I wish I saw all the bad mentions before I ordered! I would give 0 stars if I could. The boast about being local and they are not. I pay a stupid amount and get texts and emails saying there's an issue about my order.... multiple phone bouncing around to find out the "address does not exist" YES it did, it's a doctors office. She then continues to then tell me it's out of their delivery area... after claiming that they service all of Nashua NH. Told her I don't want to do this, and the monetary amount has changed twice for "service fees" and wanted my money back.
Well, let me tell you she tried giving me options (like within 5 days of having mail delivered flowers) instead of what I wanted. Or I could choose a different address?! After I gave her my options very loudly, she finally caved and refunded me my money. They don't like when you threaten to call the bank and report it as fraud. I am just so frustrated.

As I sit in my condo in a very windy and cold Alberta, I realize I was scammed the first time in my life. I ordered flowers for my daughter in Watford City, ND the 17th at about 11:45 am. Took the young woman at least 20-25 min. to take order. I spent about $100.00 US (about $140.00 Canadian) a lot for a senior but it was never delivered. I called 3 times, “noting our computer, never ordered" blah blah.
Phoned this morning. First time I got the woman. Same old story “you never call here" but, I did, I checked my phone log and I knew then that I had been HAD. Shame on you people. I selected the site because it said family owned and operated. Yes, I do believe you are a family operated scam. I know these people would not do this if they had any compassion. Two of my kids work there. You sure gave their mother a disgusting experience. Anyone in Watford City want to report this to your police? I will get my money back, if my card was used, I say hello to the 94% of persons in ND that would never do this.

I ordered flowers for my mother, and she never received them. When I went on their website, they confirm delivery without proof. I was overcharged a service fee that was not visible at check-out and came in an e-mail later. I tried to cancel my order immediately due to the high service fee, was never able to get anyone on the phone, sent multiple emails and no one has returned my call or emails. I'm not sure how anyone could be giving them a positive review???

Would give them a zero star if an option. Do not waste your time with this place. Flowers were ordered for the 13th and it is now the 17th and still no resolution after multiple attempts. No flowers, no refund as of yet. Very disappointing. If you make a negative comment on their site they delete it. Very dishonest and not trustworthy. Shop elsewhere and save yourself a big mess!

I would leave zero stars if possible. I ordered the Starbright Bouquet the day before Valentine’s Day for my elderly, widowed mother who has just entered hospice care. The price paid? $126. (See pics.) What was delivered bore little resemblance to what was advertised. The flowers appeared closed, unhealthy, and dull. The vase was a plain glass cylinder rather than the deep red, curved vase shown online. The substitutions were not similar at all, nor were they comparable in quality or value.
For Valentine’s Day, instead of the Valentine balloons (one mylar, two latex) I ordered, my mother received two identical mylar balloons that read: “Congratulations! Awesome. Wow. Way to go.” What an entirely inappropriate message for a dying, grieving widow on Valentine’s Day! Customer service is virtually nonexistent. I was routed only to chat bots, automated recordings, and unanswered emails. I disputed the charge with my bank and will be filing a BBB complaint. *I strongly caution others against using this company, especially for meaningful or sensitive occasions. I should have dug deeper prior to ordering. Their reviews are abysmal and the entire experience, a debacle.

Purchase flowers to be delivered on Valentine’s Day 14th Feb and they got delivered on 16th Feb. The roses were of poor quality and not worth the premium money I paid. Will never use this company again.

I will never do business with or recommend Avas Flowers to anyone. I ordered a all red Luxury flower arrangement for Valentine's Day. What I received was an arrangement that has 3 roses, 3 carnations, 2 red astromeria, 3 purple daisy stems, and 2 stems of little lime green button mums. Lots of leather fern, and other green fillers. This was nothing more than a grocery store kiosk bouquet. For this I paid $80 plus service and delivery and tax. Not as advertised! Very unhappy, very dissatisfied. I called, complained, and was offered some compensation. Money refunded and flowers never were picked up.

I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. Shame on me for not reading these reviews prior. I was in a hurry to order flowers for my best friend's mother's funeral service and this business came up. I called to confirm they could handle the simple plant I ordered and discussed the delivery date and time. I got a call the morning of asking again the delivery time (which was previously discussed). Then an hour later another text/email asking me to call as they needed an alternate address for church. Then it was said that could not fulfill the simple peace lily I ordered. I did not have time to find another florist with 3.5 hrs until service. Save your time and money. Never again.

Please read before ordering from Avas — I wish I had. I rarely leave reviews, but after this experience, I feel a responsibility to share what happened so others can make an informed decision. I live in Pennsylvania and placed an order with Avas a full week in advance to send my daughter a special Valentine’s Day arrangement. I selected an early delivery date (the Friday before Valentine’s Day) specifically to avoid any last-minute issues and to make sure she received something meaningful from her father. They emailed me the next day saying there was an issue with my phone number, which is why they couldn't deliver (not sure why that would affect their delivery) obviously forgetting that I have to enter my phone number to get delivery updates or request the refund, which there was nothing wrong with it at those times.

Avas Flowers is the most dishonest people I have ever had to deal with. In fact, they are thieves! I placed an order with concise instructions for delivery and when they failed to deliver to the correct address they promptly tried to cover their mistake with fabricated arguments. They are not to be trusted, use someone else and save yourself the heartache of no delivery on Valentine's Day and a very sorrowful and disappointed spouse. If I could give a minus review they are certainly deserving. I hope this review will stop others from using these charlatans. Their only recourse was to ague with no attempt to compensate.

I am a 100% service‑connected combat veteran, classified as a partial paraplegic. My career includes eight years as an Army Sapper; more than twelve years as a police officer and/or sheriff’s deputy, serving as an accident reconstructionist; and four years as a DoD Master Instructor. Academically, I hold an AOS and a BOA in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia, as well as an MOA in Business and Organizational Security Management…essentially emergency and risk management…from Webster. I am also a private pilot.
I retired in 2013, though the medical issues that led to that retirement began in 2009. For a long time, I felt isolated and adrift. Last year, however, I reconnected with…and married…a close friend of 25 years. She is currently in Gulf Breeze, Florida, finalizing her affairs before joining me. This Valentine’s Day was especially meaningful because it was our first as a married couple. On February 7th, 2026, at approximately 1635 hours, I placed an order with Avas Flowers for a Valentine’s Day delivery.
Earlier today, the tracking information showed the order as “out for delivery.” It now reports that delivery has been rescheduled for February 17th, 2026. The initial confirmation email clearly stated an expected delivery date of February 12th, 2026, which raises a fundamental question: how could such a date be provided if the company did not have the necessary flowers available? At no point did either Pam or I receive any communication indicating that the delivery could not be completed or that any issue had arisen.
Later this evening, after I submitted a questionnaire regarding the order, I was abruptly notified that the delivery date had been changed to February 17th, 2026. I placed the order on February 7th, 2026…more than sufficient time for the company to restock, unless they sold me flowers they did not actually have or had already allocated to other customers (like overbooking an airline flight to ensure a full flight). Yet earlier in the day, the order was reported as “out for delivery.”
Taken together, these facts reflect a pattern consistent with intentional misrepresentation. Under both Florida and federal standards, fraud involves knowingly providing false information to induce payment, reliance by the victim, and resulting financial harm. Because I am in Arizona and she is in Gulf Breeze, Florida, it appears they assumed these discrepancies would go unnoticed. I have taken every reasonable step on my end, yet they accepted my payment and failed to provide the service.
Had I known on February 7th, 2026, that they could not deliver the flowers until February 17th, 2026 I would have ordered from another company. Their own updates now show that they accepted my payment for a Valentine’s Day delivery while knowing they did not have the flowers in stock and could not deliver them until February 17th, 2026. They withheld that information at the time of purchase to secure the sale. That conduct meets the basic elements of fraud. The fact that they never contacted either of us, initially reported the order as “out for delivery,” and then changed their story only after I questioned the status further supports a pattern of intentional deception.
I am formally requesting a full criminal investigation into this matter. Please request any records or documentation you believe are necessary; I will provide them promptly. This has to be the worst place in the history of purchasing flowers! I ordered flowers, candy,and a bear for Valentine's Day… Received flowers that I didn't purchase, never got the Candy nor did i get the bear. I've been trying to speak to someone about this, That's like pulling teeth without **. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. All dialogue is done by this chat bot which is worthless, a phone number that leads to nowhere, not one single live person, worst experience EVER! I can go on and on about this matter but it useless. To anyone looking to buy flowers for any occasion, do not use Avas Flowers. They have all these extra cost for one and for 2 they claimed the flowers I ordered were delivered and they were not. I then asked to tell me where the order was, since they are the company to send them out and they tell you customer support has to call you. So I asked for my money back since I ordered this through their company, then they proceeded to tell me the same, I have to wait for someone else to call me. I ordered these flowers on the morning of February 13 to be delivered on February 14th, and no dice.

I could understand an order missing its delivery date the day prior to Valentine’s (13th), but when it arrived a day late it was completely different, and low quality, product. The product that was delivered appeared like it had been purchased at the local Walmart’s reject bin and passed off as their own. Their customer service "support”, both online and phone are designed to frustrate the customer and not ever assist them.

I ordered an arrangement over the phone from Canada to their Spring Hill, Tennessee store. I was assured the arrangement I wanted was available. The price was $52.99 and I was led to believe that it included delivery. THEN, I was told my price would be $116 after all taxes charged. A few hours later, I got an email saying I would have to choose a different arrangement. I was assured that it would be delivered on February 13th, or worse case scenario, February 14th. NOW I'm told that it won't be delivered until February 16th. Their post-sales website is confusing to the max. Customer service is virtually non-existent. This is easily THE WORST FLORIST COMPANY I've ever dealt with. I may try having my money refunded through my credit card.

My fault for clicking on the first Sponsored ad for online delivery. Then sucked in by "free" delivery but then a $25 service charge for delivery supposedly arriving on the 13th of February at partner's work place (order made in the 13th at 1030 am)... And today? No news when I checked where the delivery was... It never arrived. Fortunately, I was able to cancel for an immediate refund. In short, go with local florist and avoid Avas.

What they delivered was absolutely embarrassing and nothing like what I ordered. I told them that wasn't necessary it just needed to be delivered by 5 on Friday because it was being delivered to my wife at her place of business. I go check it says on the email delivery date 2/13/26 but at 5:45 which is still 45 min too late it has still not even been attempted to be delivered. Order # ** - On January 16, 2026, I ordered the "Get Well Balloon Bunch" (6 Mylar balloons, $39.99), and added two additional latex balloons for an additional cost. This was delivered to a family friend in the hospital, and our friends sent us a photo of the balloons, and thanked us. This should have been a total of 8 balloons, only 5 balloons were delivered. It took 3 phone calls over 3 weeks before I was offered a small refund, which I refused. I explained that after having to deal with this for 3 weeks I wanted a 50% refund - which they agreed to. Everyone was polite, but what was advertised was only 60-65% of what I had paid for.

Made an order on February 9th to be delivered the same day. It is now the 12th and hasn't been delivered. It even says delivered on the website and clearly was not. I called the place it was supposed to go and the customer service number many times. They run you in circles and make a million excuses. Tried to return after the whole debacle and won't do returns after 24 hours of making the purchase, even if you don't get what you paid for???? Do not buy from this business, it is clearly a scam and I should have looked up more before doing so.

Very terrible experience with ordering a peace lily plant for my uncle's funeral from Avas Flowers out of Milton, WV. I called the day before funeral visitation/service and had a very difficult time understanding the person taking my order. I had to repeat answers to questions numerous times and was told info was being updated after each entry, which took a long time, and then she'd have to re-enter the information again several times. I was on the phone for 45 minutes to place an order for ONE SINGLE ITEM. After I paid for my order and received a confirmation number from the shop, I received an e-mail shortly afterwards that the item I ordered was not available and that another item would be sent in its place.
I called to cancel the order and was told I could not cancel due to their cancellation policy, even though the plant arrangement had not even been processed yet. After complaining to the order taker, she places me on hold, returns to tell me the original item ordered would be delivered and I was advised the e-mail they sent about the non-availability of my item was sent in error. I thought all was taken care of as I was assured the item I ordered would be delivered to the funeral home the next morning before 11:00 am as that is when visitation service began. My mistake was taking this business at their word.
My mom called the funeral home the morning of her brother's funeral to verify the sympathy plant had arrived and she told by an employee with the funeral home it had not been delivered, and this was after 11:00 am. I contacted Avas Flowers through a chat message and was advised the order had been cancelled and a refund issued and that an e-mail had been sent to me in this regard. I checked my email and I had received a message the day prior shortly AFTER I had spoken with the order taker and had been reassured the correct item would be delivered on time. I don't know yet if the refund has been issued as the credit card company indicated it may take several days for the refund to appear for this transaction.
I have needed to order from various other floral shops for funerals recently in WV as we've had three deaths in our family over the past several months, and there were never any issues or problems during the ordering process or in the delivery. We rely on relatives who are able to attend the funerals to let us know how our orders looked and if they arrived, as we live out of state and are unable to attend the funeral services. This is the only time an order has not arrived for a funeral service. So disappointing.
I did not see all the negative reviews until after I had my own issues with this shop. I have now seen that I am not alone in the service received by Avas Flowers, such as non-delivery, poor and terrible flower arrangements that look nothing like the photos posted on their website, etc. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

I tried to place an order online and then it said I hadn't entered some info --said it was "in red'--but nothing there. I tried again, and then it was saying I was ordering TWO arrangements. I couldn't back out of it--nowhere to edit the order. When I called the customer support number it said to call during business hours. Ok, that was fine, but when I did the next day, all I got was a robot who wanted to know the order number. There was no order number because it hadn't really been placed, I guess. NO ONE TO TALK TO--for a "family owned business" it's not a good way to do business.

Awful. I ordered a dish garden with flowers for a friend that just suffered through a still born birth 7 days before the expected delivery date. Just an Absolutely traumatizing ordeal. Not only did Ava’s Flowers send the totally wrong item (a gangly orchid), it was two days late. Additionally, when I asked them if they were local to the area the rep said yes. It wasn’t until after I got the summary of charges that I noticed a $30 service fee. When I questioned the service fee and again their location the rep then told they weren’t local to the area but that they “work” with local florist. Very very shady.

If I could give a 0 I would! Placed an order online with a delivery date 3 days out. Received a text message stating my delivery date needed to be changed to an earlier date. Not a problem, I moved it up. They I received a phone call saying that date would not work either. I delayed it one day. It would still arrive before the necessary date. Then received a third call telling me what I ordered was no longer available and they would be more than happy to send something else. I explained that there was a reason I was ordering what I did, that if I wanted something else I would have ordered that. I told the rep I wanted to cancel my order. It took 45 minutes on the phone talking over the squawking chickens that were so loud I could no longer hear the rep. This was the first and only time I will order from them. Spend the time to find a local florist by your recipients' residence. Going big or go home isn't the right thing to do in this case!!!

Apparently the onsite florist rejected the order due to out of delivery zip code. No notice of this until I called a day after delivery date wondering where it was. So, next day delivery did not occur, no status update on order rejection or delay of delivery. Circular response with online chat, not resolving the issue. Circular options on the phone not getting to a representative to confirm when delivery will occur. Don't fall for the free shipping code as you'll find a Service Fee of $25.00 at point of check out.

I ordered flowers for my sister for her birthday which was January 26. I ordered on January 23. They were delivered to the wrong place. I gave them the correct address. This was my worst customer service experience ever. Maramme was my salesperson, and it was painful. She constantly ignored my budget, and tried to manipulate me into paying absorbent prices. She was hard to understand and inconsiderate. She tried to use my care for my significant other against me to pay high prices. She kept me on the phone for an hour and a half while repeatedly offering expensive options over my budget. I told her my budget over and over again and she kept ignoring it and then saying I should pay that money so my significant other will love me more and feel special. She also repeatedly called me and my other by the wrong name somehow. She disrespected me over and over. This resulted in me hanging up out of pure annoyance. I cannot express how much of an inconvenience Maramme was to me and my purchase. If there was something lower than a one star than I would give that rating.

Ordering the flowers was extremely easy. However trying to contact customer service in regards to the flowers not being delivered was a different story. I ordered a $300 arrangement for a funeral and they showed up 5 hours late. The wake was over and now the flowers are not needed. The only way to have any contact in regards to an order is through emails. They accepted the order I placed over the phone with a live person said it would be no problem to have delivered before 10:00 am the following day. The flowers never arrived. I called and the only dept I could get through to was the sales dept. Customer Service does not exist over the phone only emails. I made a request with the sales dept to cancel the order and they said they will put it through and I would receive a call back from an executive. Which never happened.
The arrangement did not get canceled and they showed up 5 hours late. I received an email that the flowers were delivered. They then ask the question were the flowers delivered on time of course I said no and it issued a $10 credit. Like that compensated the fact that they were no longer needed. On top of all that the flowers were sent without a card. If you look at their star rating they feel 1 star is fair... Sadly to say 1 star is poor service which is what they are offering. If I could choose 0 stars that is what it would be. Do not use this florist if you have a time line to meet and have high expectations for their service to be all that they claim.

The delivery was a hideous bunch grocery store yellow and white carnations with a yellow bow and a box of 12 ferrero rocher candy in a brown paper bag obviously from the same grocery store. When I spoke with my daughter about the incident she exclaimed that was the same florist she used last year and the same happened to her. Grocery store flowers, no candy, no balloons. I tried reaching out the vendor and was put on a 30 minute hold. I am filing a complaint with the BBB (of which they have numerous complaints already filed), and on every other platform I can leave a review. This is a shady business working out of a personal space (all online) taking orders and money and then purchasing garbage from nearby grocery store. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! THEY ARE CROOKS.

So disappointed. I chose a bouquet and same day delivery. Got an email that my chosen flowers were unavailable and the only substitute were a few variations of a dozen roses. I chose multicolor in a vase (because I had to pick something... better than nothing on short notice). However, what arrived were 10 pink and white roses in a vase way too small. No filler greens, no multicolor roses, not even 12 roses! Also, they were not delivered until the next day. $80 for 10 roses, a dollar store grade vase and late delivery? No thanks. Zero stars.

I purchased flowers through Avas Flowers in Philadelphia. They delivered it to the wrong address. I had to go myself seven blocks to pick it up from the original address. They also wrote the name wrong on the card. I contacted customer service I requested for a manager or supervisor of the local store to contact me for an apology and to give me a discount they never follow through. I don’t recommend doing business with this company at all.

I am very disappointed in the flowers sent, we had an elderly employee fall and was hospitalized, and we wanted to send her grand flowers. I picked a bouquet in her favorite colors and I even Paid extra to get a huge one - when I went to go visit and saw the flowers not only were they not the color scheme and flowers I picked out but they were wilted. It was such a sad bouquet that was supposed to show how much we cared for an employee that worked for us for 31 years and it showed up looking like we didn't care at all. I had to stop at Albertsons and create a whole new bouquet to make up for it.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from this company. I paid nearly $100 for the arrangement shown on the website—a full, vibrant bouquet with numerous yellow roses, white lilies, rich purple filler flowers, and a substantial blue glass vase. What was delivered looked nothing like what was advertised. First delivery was made to Tennessee not Philadelphia, then they lied to my best friend in the hospital and said it was sitting at the front day for 2 days when I put the room number on it. Same day delivery took 3 days. Next, the arrangement was awful. It looked like to many stems stuffed into a small container. Customer service hung up on me several times, even upon calling me back. This took about 4 extra hours even with the chat system they claim does such a good job, not true. Finally, when speaking to cs she claimed I ordered a flower that was flower designer's choice. I ordered a specific arrangement. Horrible experience.

I wanted to order flowers for a friend who was arriving home after being gone for a week to be with family after her farther died suddenly right before Christmas. I picked a same day arrangement, put in my payment information and thought I was done, though not happy with the high fees. Then I got a notification that there was a problem with delivering to that zipcode and it gave me some choices that I didn’t want. I spent almost 2 hours getting the run around being put on hold, being disconnected, being told certain departments were no longer valid! It was absolutely infuriating. It was by far the worse customer service I have ever encountered in all of my life and I used to work in retail. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!

Based on my experience, I will never use this florist again and would strongly discourage anyone else from doing so. I ordered flowers for a funeral and was contacted via email that they had questions about my order. I tried calling back multiple times and was told by their bot that I was scheduled for a call back. The first time they called me was 2 days after the funeral. Apparently what they needed to tell me was that they couldn't make the arrangement because they didn't have the resources necessary. Why couldn't they tell me that in the first message so I could have done something different? I only gave one star because it wouldn't let me go lower.

I ordered a bouquet for my mom for Christmas. As soon as I paid I got an email stating that my choice was no longer available, but they would substitute with a beautiful Christmas bouquet. Pulled up an internet search for local florist, and this place came up. It was noon on the west coast where I live and the website said will be delivered today if ordered before 2 pm. Ordered thinking it was a local florist, then received an email saying your order was after 2 pm. It's after 2 pm in Delaware where this company is located, so the order will have to be delivered on Monday, this was Sat. So I called, all I got was an automated phone tree with no option to speak to a human to cancel my order. It also took several tries to get my delivery info and purchase info through their bad website, and as I am closing out there was a $28 dollar service charge added.
Finally I had to wait for for a call back, when they called and I said I wanted to cancell, and I was put on a 5 minute hold, When the rep came back on I asked if it was cancelled, they said, no, we need more information to get the order through, I said, I do not want the order, I want to cancel the order, will you please just cancel it. Let me put you on a brief hold, 5 minutes later this guy says let me see what I can do, and put me on hold, another 5 minutes.
When he came back on I asked is it cancelled? He said why would you want to cancel after all work we have done. I started flipping out, dropping F bombs on why their website is deceptive and filled with lies, he said, "Let me put you on hold to get my manager on the line." She came on and I said it has been over 30 minutes of my life wasted on this crappy company to just order flowers, delivery in 2 days in unacceptable, just cancel it, with an F bomb or two included.
She said, "OK I will cancel the order, just hang on the line for 5 minutes while I process the cancellation," I said, "No way am I waiting any longer for you incompetence, is it going to be cancelled?" She said, "Yes and you will get an email stating that it is cancelled," I said good, I am not waiting, just cancel and send me that email, and I hung up.. Never purchase from this company, my wife said I was getting charged a service fee for them to call a local florist to order what I could do on my own, the service fee was almost as much as the flowers. Friday I spoke with someone to complete my order as online button to purchase didn’t work. While still on phone I corrected the delivery address the rep entered. I called Monday to ensure correct delivery address. The wrong address was still on record. The rep corrected it again and sent a new confirmation with correct address, ensuring me there was plenty of time for delivery to the church that evening for funeral the following morning. Monday afternoon Avas texted and emailed they needed to speak with me to complete delivery. Each of the nine or ten times I called, the automated system disconnected me before I could speak with someone.
After about three hours of answering their call backs and being disconnected, a rep told me the delivery would not be made in time. She asked for a home address to “deliver a beautiful nice arrangement at a later time”. I told I want to cancel the order, not re-do it. She went into infuriating robot mode and repeatedly said the same thing about another arrangement at a later time. After I lost my temper she told me there was good news that Avas just received delivery confirmation from the florist. She sent me a generic email on Avas letterhead stating the delivery was made. The email had no photo/proof of delivery and no confirmation number. AWFUL. I told her that was not proof of delivery and I’d be canceling the order.
The morning of the funeral I checked the delivery status on Avas website and it showed no delivery confirmation. I called Avas and the rep tried the same routine and I hung up immediately, which I should have done the prior evening. Shortly after hanging up I received an email from Avas notifying me that the charges were being reversed. The anxiety of bereavement is enough without Avas piling on with unnecessary stress and aggravation and especially their deception. Avas should send my family “a beautiful nice arrangement” to apologize for their deception and undo aggravation caused at such a delicate time. DO NOT use this company. Find a local florist and order direct.

They refuse to cancel an order and their customer service is s joke. And the kicker is their internal customer review system. Submit a review on their website and they reserve the right to not publish or CHANGE THE WORDING of the review. I am giving one star only because there is no option to give less. I ordered flowers for a friend’s father's funeral and paid for Sunday delivery during the wake. I received a notification stating the flowers were delivered, but when I checked with the funeral home office, nothing had arrived. I tried to contact the company, but they used Christmas as an excuse to be unreachable, and the 'callback' I was promised never came. Later, I received an update saying the order was 'on trace'—but this was after the service was over and the deceased had already been cremated. This is unacceptable. I paid for flowers that were never delivered, and I was left embarrassed in front of a grieving family. Total lack of respect and zero customer support.

Zero stars. This is a scam. I ordered $90 of flowers for delivery 12/18. I was at the delivery address from 12/16 through 12/21. No flowers were delivered. When I called to request info on when the delivery would be made, the chatbot requested my new delivery date. I told chatbot "next day". That scene continued for 3 days. No delivery, although I DID get an email confirming that delivery had been made. I was at the address and spent many visits to the front door. Nothing. Now I am trying to cancel order, and they show no history of my order. I have only the charge on my debit card. They have no record of the order at all!!!

My first and only order with AVAS Flowers was last night for a seriously injured friend. My order was well over $100. This afternoon, I got online and saw an emergent email. They could not deliver the flowers. They were out of that arrangement. A professional response to this is to offer customers a nicer, more expensive arrangement with an apology. Instead, I was offered an arrangement that was paltry at best worth $44. Perhaps this is how this company makes money. It's a whole bait and switch deal. They had my phone number from the original order yet no call was made to me. Today is Sunday and I'm not normally on my email. I called the number they provided and no-one answered. I called again and tried doing the online contact and was repeatedly disconnected.
If you do not live directly in Compton where you can show up at their door, do not order from this place. Bait and switch South Carolinians. What a novelty .... Who's surprised to learn this?? Shame on you people. I will be contacting whoever gave you a permit to have a florist shop in Compton South Carolina. I am about to post this and it seems they sent a refund. I will check if I got the amount in full. Previously they said it was too late in spite of giving me until 6p (it is now 3:23p) to straighten out the mess they created. I did try to call .... I called Avas Flowers at 9:47 a.m. on December 11 and ordered a dozen roses to be delivered to my granddaughter at her university. I specifically stated that the order was conditional on delivery before 4:00 p.m. At 4:00 p.m., no flowers had arrived, so I called Avas Flowers to cancel the order. I was told that the flowers were en route. My granddaughter checked the receiving area multiple times, but the flowers never arrived.
Later, I received an email from Avas Flowers stating that the flowers had been delivered. This was not true. Avas Flowers subsequently called me and admitted that they did not know why the flowers were marked as delivered, but confirmed that they were not delivered. They offered to send the flowers the next day. I declined and requested a refund, as my granddaughter was leaving school to return home. The flowers were never delivered, and to date, I have not received a refund.

I wish I had read all the comments before I ordered from this place. THIS IS FRAUD!!! When you purchase an item (flowers for a funeral) and they are never delivered and you paid $295 to have delivered and it never happens and customer service is none I believe it is scamming consumers. The company promises they will deliver the flowers and don't and there is no customer support!!! When I would check the status of the order it was showing in processing. My brothers memorial came and went with no flowers as ordered. Sad that a company would take anyone's money and not deliver is a shame. They say they only keep the orders for 90 days and I think they should have to keep records for tax purposes.
I was able to email them with no response until the 90 days were past and now they say that I have no order even though I provide the order numbers. The only way to speak with customer support is with an order number then they say the lines are busy and will call you back. HA that was a joke. I keep trying but I am past their 90 days and they say there is no order number now. They only keep them for 90 days??? Not good business. I have cried to think my flowers for my beloved brother were not provided as ordered. I just want a refund of my money and I guess I will have to file a dispute with the bank to get it back.
I just want my money refunded. This was something that my mother who is 93 wanted to do for her lost son after watching him for weeks deteriorate in front of us. The loss was an emotional and difficult one because of the pain he had to endure. Watching it weigh heavy on his wife and we just wanted to do something nice for the memorial and it was never delivered. How can anyone feel good about this? Why is it only possible to speak to a person if you are calling in an order. There is no customer support for anyone. It is all automated like I need another business impossible to reach because AI is used to not have to deal with the issues that may arise. At this point the only other option is to file a dispute with the bank.

I wanted to surprise my friend with a peace Lilly plant on November 21,2025 before I came to visit her. I ordered it on November 19 because they said they could do same day delivery. They make it seem like they are a local florist. Then they sent me an email saying they couldn’t deliver until December 26, 2025! I called them yesterday and finally reached a person. They called the local florist and it was delivered that day, December 8, 2025 - 17 days after I wanted it delivered. They charge a $25 service fee for horrible service. I told the person I would never order through them again and would be very careful I’m. To scammed again. The plant was small and certainly not worth over $75.

I ordered a small flower arrangement to be delivered to a hospital for a sick friend. I was promised that day delivery. I should premise this by saying the order process was the most difficult that I have ever experienced but I persevered thru it all. The arrangement was not delivered that day or the next and I kept getting requests to give the an alternate delivery location. Finally after 4 days I requested a cancellation and all I got was a continued sales pitch which was not interested in and finally had to tell the person to just shut up and give me my money back. Needless to say I never would ever order from them again.

I ordered a bouquet for my daughter's birthday. First of all, it was a roughly $50 bouquet of flowers with a $5 bow, $5 card, $10 delivery fee, and absolutely obscene, ridiculous, and unheard of $30 "service fee". When I looked into this fee, the explanation was vague, and basically stated to "ensure proper handling". Whatever. I wanted my kid to have a gorgeous bouquet for her big day. So I paid. No biggie. The woman on the phone totally assured me the flowers would be delivered the following day, for my daughter's Sweet 16, in the morning. Morning implies before noon, right? Well, I waited and waited for a confirmation text or email. Nothing came. I received an email about a survey, which I ignored.
Night came, and I had heard nothing about the delivery from either Ava's or my kid. Eventually I reached out to my daughter who told me nothing arrived. By the time I heard from her Ava's was closed. So I used their chatbot to inquire. Lo and behold there was a delivery issue and not only could I not simply reschedule, I had to call. So I called. After pressing many buttons the machine assured me the flowers would be delivered "at the next earliest possible delivery date", giving no indication when that would be. As I have since done some homework, and found their reputation is absolutely deplorable, I will 100% be canceling my order at both the store's end and with my credit card, since it seems some people have difficulty getting their money back or do not receive a product worth what they have paid. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for your floral needs.

Spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone with customer service because the website wasn't working. The $50 flowers came to $80 even with free delivery, so I said no, I want to cancel. They put me on hold - came back with a lower price, $64. But when I looked at the order online it was a different arrangement. After much back and forth I told them to cancel the order. They told me to hold, and when they came back they said I had missed the cancelation window! An hour later, after several transfers and call-backs, a supervisor got on the call and actually cancelled it for a full refund. A waste of time with a terrible company.

The Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had – Avoid Avas Flowers. I have to say, my experience with Eva Flowers has been nothing short of infuriating. I rarely write reviews, but this situation pushed me past my limit. From the moment I placed my order, things went downhill fast. My items were never delivered—not late, not delayed, not rescheduled—just never showed up. And the complete lack of basic customer service made the entire situation even worse.
There is absolutely no real support. No phone number to call, no human being to talk to, no actual customer service representative who can look into the issue. Every attempt to get help just led me to the same useless online “support” system that loops you in circles with automated messages and canned responses. It feels like they purposely make it impossible to get assistance or even a real explanation. It’s unbelievably frustrating to spend money and get absolutely nothing in return—not even a simple apology or a clear update.
What made it even more aggravating is how they advertise themselves as a trustworthy service, yet my experience was the complete opposite. I kept getting redirected from one online form to another, none of which solved anything. Days passed, then weeks, and still no delivery, no follow-up, and no meaningful response. Worst experience in my life. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THEM. They took my order, I received a confirmation and then shortly there after I received a text and email that there was an issue with my order. I attempted over 4 days to connect with them unsuccessfully. The automated customer services line did not recognize my order number and would tell me to define the correct number and call back. Then it would hang up on me.
I called the sales line, communicated my issues and they set up a call back from CS. CS would call back from a number that would be blocked on my phone and I would then get a voicemail. Call from Europe, etc. Finally was able to speak with someone and they asked for an alternate delivery address in case they could not find the church for a memorial service. After other questions such as a number to call my sister in law - flowers were for a memorial service. Needed them delivered by 11am and they said a window of 10am to 5pm. When I placed the order 5 days prior I made it clear that it needed to be there on Saturday by 11am. Run and never use this business.

Horrible! Advertises as a local Florist in the towns everywhere with delivery available today! Once I ordered under the false advertising of it being a local florist, I receive a message saying the arrangement requested is unavailable for for me to select from a selection they provide as a substitute! Tried calling immediately to cancel the order only to talk to an AI System with no way to talk to a human! Next I get a message stating order modified for a day late delivery! Messaged them and got a phone call hours later! When I requested they cancel my order as I now realize they are a scam online Florists and lot a local florist as they state, they tell me it's too late and I am stuck with whatever they sent. The sales representative I first SPOKE WITH, Sophia, entered the WRONG city and state address for the recipient. When I tried to contact Ava Flowers, Hershey, PA, I could not get through to tell them of their error. I made this order 12/1 to be delivered 12/4. On Dec. 3, I FINIALLY, spoke with a person who corrected the error made by the first rep who took my order. It was upsetting and frustrating because I had completed their online form and had it in front of me when I was talking with Sophia. They added a $25.00 service fee onto my order. That was deceptive advertising/marketing! I warn anyone from ordering from this florist. It is not a consumer-friendly business and their website is difficult to navigate to leave a review.

I ordered a holiday flower arrangement and paid for that. I was notified a day later that that arrangement was not available. I selected a different arrangement, which was scheduled to arrive by the same date. A different order arrived 5 days later, after the holiday! I will never use this company again. Expensive and unreliable.

Please never use this company to order flowers. They will 100% disappoint you. Firstly, I couldn't complete my order on their website as it kept giving me an error message saying I needed to correct the section in 'red' but there was no such section. I had to call in to complete the order. Then they charged a "Service Fee" on top of a delivery fee. Order was placed on Saturday for a next day Sunday birthday delivery. It wasn't delivered till Monday, ruining the surprise. I ordered and paid for two balloons that said "Happy Birthday". It came with one balloon that said "Let's Celebrate". I should have checked the reviews before using this company. It's obvious why they have a "One Star" rating. I am extremely annoyed and will never use them again.

Sent order through website at 9am 11/30 for same day delivery. Got an order # but NO email confirmation. Checked online tool last night for status and it was still showing as processing. Placed trouble ticket and very rude CSR called me saying it was due to my using the wrong city and zip. I know I put the correct info as the system would not have taken it and if there WAS any question why didn’t they call me before today???

RUN DO NOT TRUST...Ava Flowers site says same day delivery. The item I picked was marked as same day delivery. I paid delivery fees & a $23.00 service charge. I ordered at 9:30 am, at 4:00 pm I contacted the company, told they deliver till 7:00 pm. Now 8:00 pm and checked unable to verify delivery. I went to call said high volume of calls at this time. I used the link to find my item, given a reply of checking and will get back to you. So I can't call due to high call volume, no way to check and the birthday flowers were never delivered as promised. Very frustrating and feel awful the flowers never got to the 79 year old family member. Why did I pay all that money and if delivered tomorrow what's the point the birthday was today. Does not hold up promise of same day delivery and I can't reach anyone. Updated: Refunded & no gift for a sweet little old lady. Do not purchase from this site...

Just had the worst experience with this company. Ordered flowers for my uncle’s funeral online to be delivered to the funeral home. Paid extra for special delivery, time only, before 10 am delivery. I never received a receipt in my email. The next day I received a text message from the company stating they need to speak to me in reference to my order. Action required. I called the company immediately, which was automated, and they had to schedule a call back. When they called back, they indicated the arrangement had to be adjusted because the yellow flowers I chose were out of season.
After discussing this with them, I agreed with the flower change. I advised this support person that I still never received an email receipt from them. She verified my email and stated she would send it to me. I never received an email still. The next day I again received a text message from this company stating they needed to reach me. Again, I called back immediately and again they had to schedule a callback.
When I finally spoke to someone, I could barely understand her with the screaming child in the background. This time she stated that they could not deliver to the funeral home because of the flower arrangement which I did not understand. She could not tell me anything further on the reason but stated they could deliver to my family's residence. I asked to cancel my order, and she stated she would give me a 10% discount if they could just deliver to my family's residence. I again asked for a full refund if they could not deliver to the funeral home. She again, insisted that they would deliver the arrangement to the resident. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and she put me on hold.
After about 15 minutes on hold, she came back stating that she was able to provide me with a full refund. Still no supervisor. When asked to talk to a supervisor she indicated they were all busy and she would schedule a call back. I never received a call back from this company. I had to call another florist and pay extra for rush delivery. After explaining my situation this new florist waived the rush delivery. What a deference in customer service. I would never recommend Avas Flowers to anyone!

Avas Flowers would not apply the delivery discount to my order, nor allow me to cancel, even though I tried to do so immediately. This led me to the terrible reviews of this company where flowers often arrive very different and in worse shape than the flowers advertised. I do not want to do business anymore and attempted to rescind my purchase right away. You cannot speak to a real person due to the automated call back system. Avas Flowers settled a lawsuit with the New Jersey Attorney General in April 2021 over allegations of consumer fraud, including failing to deliver fresh flowers, sending orders that did not match their online images, and misrepresenting their location. They have a DE address listed on their site. They are still abusing customers.

Contacted Avas Flowers because of their 1 day delivery and 'special' no extra delivery costs. My friend had a stroke and needed delivery that day to the hospital. Flowers WERE NOT DELIVERED as stated. When I contacted them, 'Where is my delivery' I was directed to a 'Chatbot'. I asked to speak with a manager immediately.. No response even though I gave my phone number and said, "Urgent". When I tried to cancel the order, I couldn't because their policy said 'same day deliveries' can't be cancelled. The # given to contact them is 'Can't be connected as dialed'.
CAUTION: DO NOT ORDER from this company. Flowers delivered 2 days late and were not anything like what I ordered. I was told 16" high and 12" wide...delivered without a vase and 10 by 10 inches. Also, PRICE LISTED ON WEBSITE IS NOT WHAT YOU PAY. There is a $29 'processing fee'. This trying to reach somebody from the company added incredible stress on top of my grief.

After being assured the flowers would be delivered, they were not until well after my friend had checked out of the hospital. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WEBSITE.....they won't ever pick up the phone, the order number you submit will not be found....and when they call you, they make sure it goes straight to voicemail. They mask the number they are calling from so there is no way to help the person trying to deliver the flowers; they call from an 800 number or some other random out of state number. It is the worst experience in 50 years I have ever had with a florist.

They wanted me to choose and different arrangement and a different date. I tried to cancel and no path they offers leads to being able to speak to anyone or cancel the order. Absolutely awful. I wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering. My issue is the service charge - over $25 on a $55 bouquet. This was hidden up front and tacked on at the end and I missed it. This company should be ashamed of themselves. RIPOFF. I tried to cancel the order but their policy is you cannot cancel on orders for same day or next day delivery. Mine was scheduled to be the next day. In essence their policy may as well say "you can't cancel your order." Finally, the reviews on their website are lies - they must be as outside reviews are almost all negative. All I have to say is the flowers better be nice because they are going to my "second Dad" who is very sick and due for open heart surgery tomorrow. Awful company - people who are employed there should quit - if they have any morals at all.

If I could give them a zero, I would. The name was wrong in the beginning even after spelling it 3x. They were to be delivered to my granddaughter in high school and I specifically told the guy MANY times they needed to arrive by 3 pm because school lets out at 3:25. They never arrived... I called and arranged for delivery the day AFTER her birthday and had to wait forever trying to get through. They arrived right when she was getting out of school. I had ordered the bouquet wrapped in floral paper to make it easier for her to carry at school and told the guy several times... They arrived in a vase. I was unable to do an online order so was forced to call and order. To add it, they charged me an additional $31 for nothing I can explain even though there was supposed to be free delivery!!! ⭐️ 1-Star Review – Very Disappointing Experience. I placed an early-morning flower order with Avis Flowers Online for a same-day delivery in Houston, Texas. Their website clearly states that orders placed online will be delivered the same day. That did not happen. First, they contacted me saying the address was incorrect. I corrected it immediately, and they confirmed the flowers would still be delivered that same day. Later that evening—after business hours—I received a text saying they couldn’t deliver my order because they “had too many customers.” Completely unprofessional.
The next morning, I called again and spoke with a representative who promised the flowers would be delivered before noon (Houston time). Noon came and went with no delivery, and the person I was sending the flowers to had already left for work. At that point, I requested a full refund. They refunded me, but the entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. The first time I called, they offered me $20 back to “fix it,” but by the second call, I didn’t want anything except my money returned. Bottom line: Their website claims same-day delivery, but that’s simply not true. They couldn’t meet their own guarantee, didn’t follow through on promises, and didn’t take real steps to resolve the issue. Poor communication, poor service, and completely unreliable. I will not be ordering from them again.

I ordered flowers for my aunt’s funeral, and they failed to arrive on time. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with the company to resolve the issue. Despite spending $180, none of my family members ever saw the flowers, and the company offered only $20 in compensation. This experience leads me to believe the company is operating deceptively. I specifically asked if I was working with a local florist, the man on the phone said "YES", an assurance that was clearly false. I’m not even certain the person I spoke with was in the same country as the delivery. Extremely disappointing and untrustworthy.

Awful experience with Avas Flowers. Flowers were delivered a day late & the $5 card was missing. I ordered the flowers on the 5th to be delivered on the 6th. They were delivered on the 7th at 3:30 in the afternoon. Customer Service consists of useless chatbots and a ridiculous menu of website or phone options that go in circles, leading to zero assistance. I received a voicemail saying my fruit basket had been delivered on the 6th. I ordered flowers, not a fruit basket and no delivery of anything occurred on the 6th. It took 2 days before a human finally replied. The final product was not worth the time, money, or frustration.

If I could give them a lower review, I would. I received flowers as a birthday gift from my parents. It was supposed to be a bouquet of tulips with a card and a balloon wishing me happy birthday. The bouquet cost $110 and what I received was a below averaged three dollar bouquet of drugstore flowers With a printed paper folded up as a card, no balloon. They advertised as a local flower place when searching my town but are a national brand that contracts out to other flower shops. I’m not even sure this was a flower shop that made this bouquet.
Then website customer service chat bot kicks you off when trying to contact them. The customer service line disconnects you. The only way my mother got through was to contact via the ordering phone number. Then they were like let’s talk about expectations… & tried to convince her that they were in the right, if a certain bouquet is purchased then that is what should be delivered. Not a $3 cheapest of the cheap filler flowers. They tried to not refund the order, they tried to only partially refund, they didn’t want to fulfill the order. Only after threatening with filing a dispute with the credit card company did they agree to the refund but the flower bouquet would have to be placed back outside for the “company” to pick back up.

I ordered online 10/24 for flowers to be delivered 10/25 for my mother-in-law birthday. I tried to find out about the delivery around 5 pm on 10/25 concerned that the delivery wouldn't happen. I was not able to reach a live person and just trusted all would be well. I received a message say in because they didn't have the inventory to fulfill my order they wouldn't be delivered until 10/27. I left a comment on Ava’s FB post about my experience and they messaged me and asked for my order details to look into it. They came back and said that that location is not open on Sat and Sun so the order will be delivered on Monday. A. They shouldn't have given the option for the order and take my money if they are not open on Sat. B. That's not what the company indicated why the order was delayed. “Regrettably, due to the current availability of the requested arrangement, we are unable to fulfill your order on the initially requested day.”

Same story as everyone else. They notified us that there was a problem with the order, and to wait for a call from them to rectify the situation. No call came. Twice tried to cancel order, and both times cancellation was denied. Called customer service for two days, no one answered. These flowers we supposed to be for my mother-in-law's funeral. Two hours before the service, the flowers still had not been delivered, and we still had not received any text, phone call, or email from Avas, so we were forced to buy flowers somewhere else. This morning I saw that Avas charged us $151 for flowers that were never delivered.
Since calling their Customer Service number does not result in speaking to an actual human, or receiving a call back, I called Sales instead - and what a surprise, a human actually answered the phone. I explained the situation, and was told that a manager would call me back. And of course, no one called me. I have spoken with my bank, and now have to go through the process of a fraud claim to get my money back.

When the order did not come prior to 2pm I contacted them in attempt to cancel or move the order- the customer service path on the phone routes you in a circle over and over- when I finally connected with someone (after I submitted change requests online that were denied) they told me there was nothing nothing they can do for me - though in their cancellation policy it states they will refund the expedited shipping cost- when I followed the “help” path on the text message thread of updates on them denying my requests they sent me a 800 number for a phone sex line. I ordered a sympathy arrangement to be delivered on 10/525. I received a confirmation email stating delivery would be 10/5/25 OR 10/6/25. On the morning of 10/7/25 I received an email stating it would be delivered on 10/7 but if I had an issue call before 6:00pm!!! They charged an additional $24.95 for "fees". At the attempt to deliver the person calls and said I gave a wrong address. I confirmed the address and he tried to argue with me. I confirmed it was the correct address but a new residential development. He finally delivered the arrangement 2 days later. NEVER AGAIN! Customer service was useless.

Call, they say they can't tell me when but it's 'on the truck'. Then I send an email and they reply at 8pm saying it will still be delivered!? Then Tuesday I get an email saying they are "out of stock" and "I will get my money back". DO NOT USE THEM! CALL A LOCAL FLORAL SHOP! I did and he got my flowers within 2 hours! I have had nothing but issues. First the bouquet I had picked wasn't available. And then it couldn't be delivered on the day I needed it to. So, I called multiple times only to get an automated system that never got me helped. I emailed multiple times to finally just cancel the order. This all was last week. Then today I get a message that my flowers were delivered! After I had tried multiple times to cancel, AND had already made other arrangements and PAID for other flowers. So now I have 2 bouquets of flowers, and the one from Avas was 3X more expensive!

The ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! Customer service has no ability to think for themselves. They don't honor the customer first. They honor their vendor first if there's anything that goes wrong. Can't call and get someone on the line, have to request a call back, then once they do then you're on hold for 5 minutes before someone even answers the line. Call dropped on me 3 times. They read from a script and can't think for themselves and have no ability to do anything. There is no management to speak to. The vendors have loopholes they use to get out of deliveries so they don't lose money and if there's a request to cancel they have to get it approved by the vendor and not just process it themselves.
I ordered flowers to be delivered for my wife for a special event at 849am my local time to be delivered by 5pm as it's to a business. It didn't happen, had 3 different phone calls, they couldn't do ANYTHING, vendor said they attempted delivery but "all roads were closed" which can't be true since it's an office building with 100+ employees and 4 different businesses and my wife was there. There are alternate routes but there was no record of the florist driver ever attempting to even reach out to find an alternate route. This is what allows them to not "cancel or refund" the order.
I gave them another opportunity after not wanting to deal with it any longer and asked it to be delivered the next morning between 8a - 9a my local time... still not delivered. I requested refund and the same song and dance all over again, no logical thought processing, just reading off a script and no ability to do anything. Do not ever take a chance ordering with Avas Flowers if it's of anything important or if your money and or time is valuable to you. Awful!

Delivery was running very late, so I called and got ZERO customer service with no confidence it would even be delivered. Ordered a LARGE arrangement, received a small, UGLY arrangement that did not at all look like the one I ordered, at the very end of their delivery window. Their website does not work for submitting complaints (hangs forever and some critical buttons are greyed out), only for submitting orders at outrageous prices (sky high service fees, even after getting a deal for free delivery).
Had to call Customer Service to lodge a complaint about the size of the arrangement. I was first offered a refund of 1/3 my cost. Then, when I "refused" (their words) that offer, they gave me a final offer of 1/2 my cost. I had to take that because their promise of customer satisfaction is a lie and a scam. Don't believe anything they tell you on the website and don't bother with customer service either via their website chat function or by calling them directly.

The first bouquet was delivered, no problem. The second one, which for some reason, was not sent out with the first one, gets returned with a note stating that it was not allowed to be delivered. To the same place.... From here - NIGHTMARE. You absolutely can NOT call and talk with someone. I don't care what option you choose. You also can not get to a live person on the "live chat." There is a call back option, but the number they called back from came through the phone as "high risk" spam, so it went to VM nearly every single time. The few times that it did actually come through and I finally got to speak with someone, I was assured that it would be taken care of. I of course explained that the first set got delivered and they said "yes, we will make sure this one does too."
At one point they finally managed to get through to the recipient and got another address to send it to (a family member that lived close by). Nothing happened. The final time that I talked to them, they told me that it had been dropped off at a nurses station....somewhere. Couldn't tell me which one. Then they asked ME for the other address that the family already gave them, so they could send there! How in the world would I know that? And according to the family, they were supposed to have already done that! I kept telling them that I just wanted a refund at this point, and they did NOT want to do that!
I ended up having to raise my voice because I kept getting interrupted and they would not listen. I was extremely mortified, as raising my voice is something that I don't generally do, and I was also out with my family - in a public place (one that I could not step away for privacy) trying to argue with these people! They did finally refund my money, but this ordeal took a whole week to rectify! Most unprofessional!

I ordered the Enchanted Kiss (Large) bouquet from Avas Flowers for delivery on August 23rd, our 45th wedding anniversary. When I was later told the arrangement was unavailable, I asked to cancel. Instead, they offered me a $20 refund and promised to send 24 red roses in a vase. The flowers arrived two days late — and every single rose was dead. Not wilted, but clearly old and unusable. What I paid for was never delivered, and the replacement was unacceptable. This company has a long track record of poor reviews, and now I understand why. If your order is for a special occasion, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I do not recommend Avas Flowers. I ordered a floral arrangement for a very special relative's funeral, and it fell far short of what was advertised. The arrangement looked nothing like the photo; I even paid extra for a customized ribbon, which was completely omitted. Instead of the elegant white basket shown, I received a cheap-looking brown one, and the arrangement was much smaller than the photo. The flowers were visibly old and not fresh at all, contrary to their claims. To make matters worse, the arrangement was delivered on the wrong date.
When I was finally able to speak with a Customer Service Representative for assistance, I was put on hold with the assurance that they would review my order shortly. However, after ten minutes of waiting, I received a text stating that the Customer Service Representative had lost connection, yet I hadn’t lost my connection at all. Avas Flowers demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability, and my experience was thoroughly disappointing. I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this company. They're a joke!

Worst experience I've ever had trying to buy anything, and they should owe me a lot of money for wasting so much of my time. Dealing with this company truly made me feel like I wanted to walk out of my house and physically harm someone.

I ordered flowers last Thursday (August 21st), the "My Sun, Moon and Stars" floral arrangement - to be delivered the next day as a birthday gift, which was promised for delivery. I paid $60 plus $25 Service Fee. They were NOT delivered until 2 days later, and they were NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE ARRANGEMENT THAT I ORDERED! I could not get anyone to call me back, although I was promised (again an empty promise) that I would not lose my place in the queue. I (supposedly - haven't seen it yet) received a 50% discount/refund of $30, but NO REFUND for the "service" - which was terrible. This critical report will be shared with as many people as I can. I am so disappointed! -**

I would rate this service a zero if I could. I ordered Avas Flowers for a special friend’s 70th birthday, but the flowers were of poor quality. I am deeply embarrassed that these are the flowers my friends received for her special day. I called AvasFlower as they indicated satisfactory guarantee, but all they would do was either redeliver the flowers, which she already received terrible flowers, or refund $30 for my $100 purchase. I strongly advise against using AvasFlowers.

Another awful arrangement from this company. Sadly, my relative ordered it before I could warn them about Avas. This time, it was sunflowers in a box with plastic sleeves on the stems, nothing like the arrangement in a vase that we ordered and paid a LOT for. Our recipient had to use a vase that was too small because it is all she had.
