Wonderful program which has helped me lose weight as long as you follow it. l have 15 lbs so far hopefully more as each week goes by. The point freestyle is very good. I love the meeting each week. That keeps me going.

Fantastic!!! Love Freestyle... gives me freedom! I needed to focus on nutrition and the program has provided me with realistic way of doing so. Really appreciate the mind body connection and attention to mindfulness. It's not about the scale. It's about incorporating lifestyle changes. Just wish I got the milestones with just online program.

I use WW app everyday and track fit points. It has been easy to use. I have referred a friend and that’s how I started to try it by a friend sending me a free month. In 6 weeks I’ve lost 18 lbs. I like that I can ask ques and chat with someone if needed. I have a busy life and this is only thing that’s worked for me. My lifestyle eating choices have become better but I feel I can still eat what I want with smaller portions.

I like using the point app, help me keep myself accountable. I have lost at least 2 lbs each week, except one and that was when me and hubby went away for the weekend... Too many temptations??? But I didn’t gain any??? All in all I find it easy to stay within my points even though I love to cook those good old fashion Southern comfort foods for the family. I really think by sticking to this I will achieve my goal.

You have certainly made this user friendly. The app is exactly what I needed to get going and holds me accountable each day. I love the "credit" earned for exercise. I also typically eat the same meal day over day so having the opportunity to save a meal, has been very helpful and efficient.

Your happiness is so important to us, Terri! Thanks for your positive feedback!

Very happy. I do the digital program and am very pleased. Other than a few bad apples on Connect it has been a wonderful and successful experience thus far. Although, I would recommend not letting pregnant woman post on Connect. I’ve seen at least three woman following the program while pregnant and posting stories about how they have measured all their food. It’s nuts and sends the wrong message to pregnant women.

I started the program approximately two months ago this week. At this point, I have lost 20 lbs following the plan and have used the WW apps on my phone and computer to stick to it. Having a few weekly extra points helps when I have special occasions or just go out with my wife to not feel restricted or guilty about having that Veal Parmesan. I do the cooking in our home and have used the receipt builder extensively to make our favorite meals and know where I need to change ingrediants to reduce the points.

The recipes are very helpful. I have always cooked southern style. Also the aids to help keep my calories and activities are something I need. When I chatted with the coach she answered my question so I could understand. I would like if there was a section to chat with a dietitian as I have just been told I have diabetes 2.

I tend to overeat if I don't count all calories, I need to understand the science. How many calories should it be daily? I understand what is best with lowfat, good proteins and fruits and vegetables, however if I use all points every day, I won't lose weight. I feel like it is working for me. I do like being able to scan foods and restaurant points.

I've found this iteration of Weight Watchers interesting. Not sure about the app, though. Thought it would be a bit more flashy/hip and assumed/hoped there would be a built in step tracker. It seems the zero points foods are leading people to a low carb keto esk plan. Jury is still out for me, but not walking away.

I joined because I need the structure to shed 10 lbs. The program is easy to follow. The one criticism I have is the there aren't enough recipes for "one." I live alone and since most recipes are for "four" I have to divide them by four which sometimes isn't easy to do. Otherwise, I have too many leftovers.

Thank you for your feedback, Paula. We have received feedback regarding the serving size of some of our recipes. Please know that we are working to add more smaller serving recipes to our database. Best of luck on your wellness journey!

This is my third time using WW and I am very pleased with my ongoing results. I find it easy to follow the program because there are many healthy zero point options to eat and truly nothing is off-limits. I just need to own my consumption. I like the fit points for activities too. The app also has an enormous list of restaurants and points for their menu items. Eating out is no problem! After I reach my desired weight I want to continue simply to maintain. I consider WW a lifestyle choice and not just a diet. I highly recommend.

I am not as happy with WW this time around as I was the last time I tried it 4 years ago. I find I'm not losing the weight like I should be. I don't like the APP at all! It's too much back and forth, the scanner doesn't work half the time and the food selections are so slim be it recipes or when looking up an item. The old one was much easier and user friendly. I also think that many of the foods, are not on an equal playing field. It's hard for me to believe that a half a cup of WW's chicken salad is 1 point! I think the imbalance is why I'm not losing more weight per week than I am.
I am very accountable for every single thing I put in my mouth, I don't overeat, I NEVER use up all my points per week (sometimes not even per day) and I don't need a counselor as I've done this before. I'm confident in what I'm doing since last time I lost 30 lbs in 4 months! This time, it's not looking like I'm will make my goal. I wish you all would take another long hard look at your program and your APP and rethink this. I have read many, many, many comments stating people wish you all would go back to the Points Plus system. My things I ate on that system last time has points SO high, if I ate one of them, I couldn't eat for the rest of the day!!

I joined WW and purchased the 'Buy one month get a month free" and if you lose 10 lbs you would get your $38 dollars back. They terminated my account only three weeks into the first month. I had a problem speaking with anyone on the Customer Service Line because they did not speak English and we could not understand each other. WW was trying to get another payment of $38 on my debit card only three weeks into the first month so I had to void out that card. I spend so much time on the phone trying to resolve this matter but I got nowhere. I am now out $38 and never got the one month free or my $38 dollars back for the weight loss. I will never deal with WW again. I have had other problems with them but this one was what made me give up on WW. Good luck if you decide to join.

I joined back in September after seeing an offer for a free month. When I went to the location to sign up I was told you have to join for 6 months to get the free month. I asked how much is it per month and was told $37.45. I was then asked for my credit card which was then immediately charged. I asked when do I get the free month. I was told you will get it at the end of the 6 months, which I thought was a little odd. After 6 months of my credit card being charged I got charged in the 7th month for $45.
When I called to ask about my free month and why it went up to $45/month I was told that the monthly charge is actually $45 and the free month I received was spread out over the 6 months which is why it was $37.45/month. This totally was not what I expected. It definitely was NOT explained to me at the time that I signed up. There was nothing in the offer that explained this, not even in any fine print. Make sure that you get any offers explained to you clearly when signing up!

I was a lifetime WW member back in the 1990's. Life happened, along with injuries, that altered everything. In my 40's, I moved, had serious empty nest syndrome, entered law school, got a divorce, started menopause and weighed my heaviest at almost 200 lbs. Now at 55 yrs old, life has settled down. I am finally in my dream job as a Native American Law attorney, on the other side of menopause and have 5 grandchildren that are my world. It is time to get back to a healthy weight and lifestyle. WW is the perfect program for that. I've been back for 1 month and I feel better than I have in years. I'm dedicated to this long-term journey, - for me and my grandchildren.

Now, I am still on WW online because I like the program and I want to keep the weight off. I pay for it, because I don't have time to attend the meetings. The program is so easy to follow and lose. The more you exercise the more extras points you get! There is so many zero points foods that you can use that will leave you with points for other foods and drinks. It also made me see how many points a lot of foods that I ate accounted for! No wonder I couldn’t lose weight! I have lost almost 10 pounds in a month. I am going to lose it all with this easy to follow program!!

Most food tracking programs get closer to the food you are looking for, the more information you put in. WW's seems to get further away from exactly what is being searched for. Other than that, I like the program and it seems to be working for me. Thanks!

First of all, let me say how much I love the SmartPoint program and the many zero point foods. That is a huge help!! I have been a WW member off and on since the 1980's - mainly with "At Work" programs but almost always an on-line member when no at-work program is available. Over the years I've lost 68 pounds, 56 pounds, and now I've recently lost 43 pounds and with about 15 to go. Whenever I am serious about losing weight, I rejoin WW. But like any program, when you don't follow the program, your old habits slip back in and the weight comes back.
I understand the recent effort to include all people, but I feel like emphasis on losing weight is almost totally lost now. For most of us, that is why we joined. But now there is no celebration of weight loss. It's mainly a "just keep trying, no matter what you did last week it's okay" type of attitude. In our meetings, I have no idea if anyone is losing weight because we rarely even discuss weight loss. It always encouraged me to do better when I would hear others share their successes.
I don't think we need 10-15 minutes of bragging and lots of ribbons like it used to be, but it would be nice to get to celebrate our accomplishments for a few minutes. And in the past year in our at-work meetings, we have repeated a some of the same topics at least 3 times which can get pretty boring for long term members. Maybe there could be separate meetings for those who don't want to lose weight and only want to learn how to eat healthier and another meeting for those who seriously want to lose weight.
Also - can we please rethink the name WW? It is very cumbersome to say (6 syllables vs the old 3 syllables) and WW sounds ridiculous. And I'm tired of everyone being corrected when a wrong terms is used. Not Weight Watchers - it's WW. Not meetings - it's workshops. Not weigh in - it's Check In. Not leader - it's Wellness Coach. Several of us have done this for 30 years and it's hard to change our terms overnight. Again - I absolutely love the program and will ALWAYS be at least an online member. But there are some of the old ways that I miss. Thank you for listening.

My surgery has limited my work outs to walking. I also had a little weight to lose before I had the surgery.
When I first started the program, I didn't think I could make it! However, I was determined to lose the weight. I looked at all the zero point foods I could eat and used the recipes. I am only about 6 weeks into my story, but I am extremely pleased. This is not a quick fix or quick loss for that matter. I am losing on average a pound or maybe a pound and a half each week. Weight Watchers is a logical, sensible approach to losing weight. The people who lead groups and belong are well-intentioned and their heart is the right place. This is my third time on WW. I am now 58. The plusses: The app, which makes it easy to count. The zero-point foods, which allow for free eating of vegetables, fruit and fish. The minuses: Need to make the old write-in points booklet available to those of us who liked that method. Need to make the meetings packed with useful and inspiring information -- a good 45 minutes to an hour of good data and motivation. I feel less motivated now and I am finding it tougher to lose weight. I need the help of the group. It is provided. But I think I need more -- more information, more advice, more inspiration from the live group meetings. For those of us who like to eat -- I'm a man and I don't consider two slice of pizza "filling" -- WW is a big change to make. It is a necessary change, but not an easy one.
If you love food, and the social and family gatherings connected to it, this is not an easy transition. I would like to see more attention about this: How do you change your lifestyle if you love food? I know people who speak positively about WW. I am one of those ambassadors. But many of those ambassadors, including me, have gained all the weight back that we lost. We did not create a sustainable lifestyle. Yes, we've got the zero-point foods. Yes, we can eat whatever we want -- But then we have to move back to vegetables and tricks, like ordering one dessert for four people and asking for four spoons. It makes perfectly logical sense. It needs to be done because we need to lose weight. But it is so radically different from how we have been eating.
There needs to be time spent in meetings, on the handouts and on the app on transitioning to a new lifestyle and maintaining a new lifestyle. I've met a number of people who lost weight on WW. But after making goal, they left WW and gained the weight back. They did not want to keep paying the fees and they found it difficult to stick with the lifestyle. I don't know the answer. But I do know the stories of the people and my story. Thank you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us with your pros and cons of WW, Dave. A member of our Resolution Team would love the opportunity to speak with you. We will reach out to you privately.

I have been successful on Weight Watchers in-person meeting in 1978 while gaining that college 25; again in 2005 online where I took off 20 pounds, and now in 2019 with WW Reimagined online and working to take off about 15 pounds. Using the three different platforms, I can honestly say that I really like the new format: the app is easy to use, the Connect Community is even better than I remember the in-person meetings (for an introvert), and the ZeroPoints foods— WOW! How nice. The Connect community is positive and so encouraging. Having your daily points reset each day gives you a new start each day or each meal if you can think that way.
Having tried other popular weight or health maintenance programs, I seem to always come back to Weight Watchers or WW, as it is now called because it works. The food variety and the ability to celebrate an event without falling off the plan for weeks at a time, is an absolute plus. Living in a rural area, I cannot maintain Lifetime membership with the required weigh ins, but the $240 per year is a small price to pay to avoid heart and diabetic medications. In fact, it is probably much less, and I have a more rewarding lifestyle.

There is also a glitch that if you log an activity you can't log food even though you click on food. The only way I have found around it is to log off and log back on. Also, it would be nice that the app only users should receive the charms that the meeting members receive.

I want something different. I need guidance. So I turned to WW. I have lost 19 lbs in 4.5 weeks. All I do is follow the plan. I've increased my water and am more aware of exercise and food. I have discovered foods that I thought I didn't like and surprise I LOVE them! I thought my food allergy would make it more difficult. It didn't! I made excuses for years I wasted so much time! WW puts me in control and gives me the guidance I need!

I think your marketing is promising too much. The ads say that we can "eat what we want". Not true because what we want needs to be modified greatly to meet the guidelines for daily consumption. I hate cooking, so fooling around with new recipes or knowing how to adapt my favorite foods isn't something I do. Granted there are 200 "free" foods, but that doesn't mean they include most of the food you want. When I count heavily on the free foods, fruits and raw vegetables, I don't get a truly balanced meal. I stay within my count, but not honoring my body's real needs. So, I can't keep it up.

Also, my wife and I both pay the monthly fees to attend sessions. Suggest a discounted rate for couples in attracting a wider audience. $90 is a lot to budget. Back in 2002, on my 50th birthday, I was walking to a birthday lunch, thinking about how much weight I had gained over the past 10 years. From an average of between 115 - 118, I had topped out at 145. Not that people immediately looked at me and said I needed to lose weight, but It was a noticeable change. I went from a size 6 to a size 10. "I'm middle aged," I told myself. "That's what happens." But the minute I had that thought, I stopped in my tracks and rejected it. Vehemently.
That's when I first went to Weight Watchers. I made slow, steady progress, and hit my goal weight, 116, a 6 months later. By then I had started running too - and losing the extra weight really helped my race times. I stayed within 5 pounds of my weight for several years. Then, as I trained harder for races, long simmering digestive problems started to make me miserable. Going off dairy and gluten had a huge impact. For the first time I could get through a half marathon without having to stop. And then the pounds fell off like crazy. At my lowest, I began to look gaunt - down to 106 pounds.
I began to think I could eat anything without gaining weight. But after a couple of years, as I turned 66, I started to see my weight tick up again. Slowly but steadily. When I got to 117, I could feel it in my running. My clothes didn't fit. So I decided not to let things keep going and downloaded the WW app. I started the program again - and within 3 weeks was back down to 113. But most important, I was reminded about the basics: portion control, healthy eating and mindfulness. I still want to get back down to my running weight (between 107 - 109), although that's below what WW considers "healthy." So I'm going to keep at it. I feel great when I'm really thin and my strength to weight ratio is high.

The connect groups have been far more useful and inspirational than I expected. The only big negative so far is not being able to collect the milestone charms. I know that’s part of the draw to go to workshops, but unless we get a meeting in our office park which several of us are trying, there isn’t a convenient place for me. WW is a blessing! It is not perfect, but what program out there works better?! I tried MANY and WW is the ONLY program that has worked for me. I am a Lifetime member and planning to attend the workshops as long as I am able. I have never been as healthy as I am now, and WW IS what has helped! It is AMAZING how making 200 foods worth 0 points actually ENCOURAGES one to eat more of what we SHOULD be eating already.
Now... in actuality, living "well" is a lifetime commitment. Life constantly throws at us "trials and struggles". Of course eating STILL happens THROUGH these challenges... and the workshops provide support with many ideas of how to stay well THROUGH these hardships. I learn something new almost every week! I learn of new recipes that break the boredom syndrome which results from overuse of normal meal plans. Even in Lifetime, EACH workshop brings something motivational, interesting, and encouraging to me. Living well is a lifetime commitment... so WW allows for lifetime accountability and encouragement from others (at no extra cost)... and even continues to reward you. If one does not care for the reward options, then one is welcome to donate their wins to someone in need. THAT is not a worthless reward but one with REAL meaning and more value than ANY of the other options combined!
WW is also a place to "give back" encouragement and help others along to "wellness" as one attends weekly workshops. If one follows the WW plan as taught, and "tracks" and eats as encouraged, plus follows through with other topics discussed in the workshops... like drinking minimally 6 cups of water, getting plenty of sleep, staying positive (which is encouraged in the workshops), exercising several times per week, eating plenty of protein-rich foods, and keeping accurate tracking of points in foods... then one will certainly be on their way to wellness that works! I'm am MORE than thankful for the WW program. It has CERTAINLY worked for me... Follow the program (meaning that you GO to the workshops and actually follow-through with what the coach encourages), and it WILL work for YOU!!!

I tried to quit WW as it wasn’t working for me, I need more structure. Then they emailed me saying I will get two extra free months if I stay on, so I thought ok I’ll try. As the two months were coming to an end I logged in to make sure it was being canceled as I still had no success with it. But online it said it wasn’t a membership still and I didn’t have to do anything. They ended up still charging me for one month of use 44.95 and I didn’t even use it. They said online had no record of it. Just another way to make up for some of the so called “free months”. Very deceptive. And WW really doesn’t need more bad publicity at this point. I’m on Optavia now and having great success. I will never go back to WW and I’m warning everyone I can about this.

I signed up for ONE MONTH to try it out. I opted to pay the higher monthly rate of $19.99 because I didn't want to lock in a membership without trying it first. There was a promo $9.99 per month at the time with a 3-month minimum membership. I was billed for 2 months!!! And when I called to request cancellation they denied it - was on the phone for 20 min as the sales agent kept trying to get me to not cancel! SCAM.

Your app does not always work. I am without it right now because whenever I call for support your people have not been able to help. It is very frustrating to have paid for this app and not be able to use it. I have recovered it once on my own but it stopped working again. When I called and spoke to a young man yesterday he laughed at me when I gave him my date of birth. (9/26/37). I have paid in full and I would like polite and complete service from W.W. I am discouraged and disappointed with what was once a fine organization.

Ok let’s just say I have tried almost every diet out there. My experience with this WW plan is in my opinion the best and easiest plan out there. It also is going to be very easy to maintain my goal weight as I have to give up none of the foods I enjoy. I can enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. I love the encouragement and interaction you get from everyone on the web site.

Overall I've been very happy with my experience, though there have been a few frustrations. Occasionally, I've heard certain coaches say things that don't jive with some of the things I've learned during previous fitness journeys. I don't know that the program really allows for people that carry much more muscle. I even read on Connect that a coach told someone that she exercises too much for working the WW program because even though she had a low body fat percentage, her weight was still higher than her "healthy weight" range.
A lot of people know that BMI charts are not super accurate because it can't take into account individual variables, like build. I still plan on trying to get to the weight I can achieve lifetime status at, but if my boobs disappear, I may just decide to be content at a size 10, use another app that's only $36 a year, that will count points just like freestyle, and go back to an online forum that I had used previously when losing weight.
There's also some serious issues with usability while using Connect. When you comment on someone's post, and they comment back, when you press on the notification, it doesn't jump right to your/their comment, you have to scroll through the entire set of comments to find what they said back to you. That is a waste of my time that I don't appreciate. I've also gone to make a post before and after expressing some very deeply emotional things, having my post mysteriously disappear when I hit the button that's supposed to post it.
I've been on the program for about 9 1/2 weeks now, and am down almost 20 lbs. I'm making good progress and want to see WW stay successful, which I know gets harder as they get more online competition from companies like Noom and people that are making copycat apps. As I've watched certain companies fail over the last 10 years, there seems to have been a visible connection between how responsive their customer service is, and them failing. I've noticed a LOT of people on Connect mention that they felt successful on previous programs. I think it would behoove you to upgrade your app to support not only Freestyle, but the previous plans as well, for how people want to keep track of points, etc.
I get that you're not making money off of people that have reached lifetime status, but even if you had to ask them to pay a little bit (and I don't mean even close to what you're charging for even being just online with the current program) to support giving the app those capabilities, it would be a huge win for them and you. Otherwise, they're going to find much cheaper apps that will track exactly how they want to, and they're going to be bad mouthing you all for making them feel abandoned. I get it might be a mindset thing, but it's a mindset your program instilled in them, and changing may not be better for everyone. Anyway, I do happen to like the Freestyle program for myself, and am generally content with the program. I look forward to continuing to work the program, and hope that my experience will remain mostly positive.

I had the App working well for the first 3 months of the 6 +1 month membership, after which I started having trouble with being logged out, loss of days and data, then having to contact customer service and going through the whole thing again. It became too time consuming as I was making notes which defeated the purpose of digital, problem being that I am unable to manually track what I had eaten and/or call up favourite foods. Contacting the help desk was no help as they kept sending me automated emails for log on details and instructions. Since December I have stopped using the App and continue to be debited for something which I have had no access to. I am losing the weight but only because I manually look things up. Digital was a Waste of money!

The website was a bit difficult, never did figure out how to send an email. Moving from one screen to another was difficult too. The putting in of foods was easy. But anything else was basically impossible. I didn't know how to mark a recipe as a favorite, so that was difficult. I wish there had been someone to communicate with. I could see people writing comments, but it was unclear how I could do that. I have joined Weight Watchers off and on for over 45 years. I first followed the program in 1971 when I was a freshman in college in my dorm. I have never experienced the success or found the plan so easy to follow as this new plan has been. I have loved using all the zero point foods and being freed from so much of the tedious weighing and measuring of nearly every morsel. I have enjoyed trying all the new recipes and have liked all of them. I am eating foods I have never tried and liking foods I did not care for previously. I am not very skilled with technology, but delight in the user-friendly WW app. It makes tracking daily so easy. The create-a-recipe, new recipes and barcode scanner are especially valuable resources.
After going through breast cancer in winter and spring of 2018, I knew I really needed to lose weight. I wanted a healthy and sustainable plan, which I found in WW. I am a little disappointed that I cannot eat the snack bars, due the the soy protein isolate ingredient. When I called they said I selected an option to keep my membership, but not be charged for two months and therefore I am not eligible for a refund of the amount they charged today. If I did what they claim, which I don't believe I did, but if I did, it was in error, yet they refuse to issue a refund even though they just charged me four hours ago. This is super shady. I joined in 7/2017 - I lost a total of 40 pounds, then they changed the program. At that time I would have given 5 star for the program. The change in the program was to help with people who were not wanting to do the work - in keeping track of what they were eating. If you are honest - everyone has to work at losing weight - there is no simple fix or magic pill has much has we wish it to be true.
Weight Watchers set all low fat meat to 0 point along with all fruit and vegetables. Then they lowered the point from 28 (in my weight range to 23). The lower points limited the types of food you could eat. I ended up stalling out and not losing any more weight - no matter how much I worked on it. Many current and old members are saying the same thing - they are simply not losing weight with the "New" points system. Weight Watchers threw out the baby out with the water when they came up with their new program!!! I have found a nonprofit weight loss group that has been around since 1948 - called TOPS.

I also, unfortunately, came down with a treatable form of lymphoma just over a year ago, but gained 40 lbs during treatment (no, not all chemo patients lose weight). Now that I'm in remission and through the bulk of my treatment, my doctor has given me the OK to join WW again, and I'm LOVING it! I'm never hungry with the help of zero point foods and have lost 18.3 lbs in about 2 months. I still have about 55 lbs to go to reach my final goal weight, but I know I can do it. I am enjoying the WW online only experience. I find the tracking software easy to use. I also enjoy Connect, though I do not, as yet, post to it. I appreciate the recent efforts to restore civility and focus to Connect by providing guidelines for political posting. Though everyone says "scroll on by," it is a more pleasant atmosphere when there is not a plethora of angry posts bashing a particular political party, person or value. I do see that there is a limited angry backlash to new guidelines, but I believe many people also appreciate an attempt to keep Connect a positive place.
I would love to see the WW website Connect feature to become as fully functional as the phone app. Not all people live on an iPhone or android phone, and some actually prefer to use a personal computer. It would be nice to have the same "clickability" on the website for features such as looking up a particular Connect member, following and UNfollowing other Connect members, etc. It would simplify the experience.
As far as the WW program itself and the change from SmartPoints to Freestyle, I do see the struggle that has resulted for two groups in particular: Those who struggle with portion control. The zero points foods which are more calorie dense (chicken, fish, eggs, Greek nonfat yogurt, beans, corn, etc) can become problematic for those who struggle with controlling portion size. Free doesn't mean zero calories. I believe, from reading Connect posts, that many people have found their weight loss stalling on Freestyle.
Those who LOVE all the foods which transitioned to zero points on Freestyle. For some people, the new program meant a gentle re-structuring of their food preferences... pushing them to healthier choices. But, if a person already loved and frequently "budgeted" and ate those newly zero foods, I think it might have had the same effect as for those who struggle with portion control. Now a person suddenly has "extra points" simply by virtue of the choices they already regularly made becoming zero point foods... "freeing up" points to spend on things which might now be causing a stall in weight loss. (If that makes sense.)Perhaps a workable process might be to have the healthy, yet calorie dense foods be zero points for a first serving, and have points when more than 1/2 cup, or 3 oz (for example) is consumed. Don't know if that complicates things too much. Those are my thoughts!

I used to think WW was a reputable organization. Not anymore. I joined in November for a six month commitment. The program wasn't working for me. I called WW on December 22nd to cancel. The rep was not cooperative, and repeatedly tried to get me to change my mind. After almost an hour, I finally convinced her to cancel my membership, and I would incur an approximate $65 early termination charge. I thought that was the end of the story. Wrong. WW continued to bill me monthly for January and February. On March 1st, I called WW again. Turns out, the rep with whom I spoke in December, did NOT cancel my membership. Luckily for me, she did write it in the notes on my account, but never cancelled my membership.
This time, the rep continued to try to coerce me to stay with WW. Or instead of cancelling and paying the early termination change, she insisted I would be better off just letting my remaining months play out. GRRR! I asked to be transferred to a manager, who finally agreed to just cancel my membership outright. I also asked to have my name removed from their email list. Yup, still getting those emails. All totaled, I've spent 3+ hours on the phone with these WW reps. What a freakin' nightmare. Stay away!

I would have the suggestion of adding in regular nutritional guidelines for your recipes as my partner counts macros, fats, and calories so I would know what was in each of the recipes I make for both of us instead of just points. I also wish that low fat or sugar free were considered possibly risky due to the chemicals that are used to replace some of the items. I'm not sure low fat cheese is better than smaller portions of regular dairy cheese but I suppose that's the beauty of the points system, you choose.

I see so many Posts on people getting discouraged because they are not losing weight. These are mainly Members who joined WW for first time under the Freestyle Program.
While I hate to see FreeStyle go away --- you may need to make some adjustments to the WW Program. Let's face it -- Portion Control (besides eating more fattening unhealthy foods) was main reason people gain weight. I think Portion Control is an important Life Skill that needs to be learned. Many are stating they are now doing Double Tracking of their Calories as FreeStyle allows them to overeat calories. Some are getting tired of the double tracking & are leaving WW to use FitBit, MyFitnessPal - etc as those Applications are meeting their Weight Loss Goal better than Freestyle.

I long for the days when the company was known as Weight Watchers (because, folks, that is what people who were members did); when the people who conducted meetings were Leaders; when Leaders were permitted to conduct their meetings in a way that met the needs of the specific audience in the room (i.e., not required to stick tightly to a script and deliver a message).
I long for the days (and I NEVER thought I'd say this) of the OLD website and tracker. The website navigation permitted members to explore rich content - the science center among other things. The tracker permitted members to track intake from important categories like fruits, vegetables, water, etc. And there was a feature where a member could enter up to three main ingredients and have recipes suggested that used those ingredients.
The current app and website are all designed for glitz - to overwhelm the visual senses. Everything is graphic and HUGE; on a large enough screen it is almost painful to look at the website - and don't get me started on Connect with the inappropriate photos of people in underwear or completely nude. I seriously doubt that WW is listening to the feedback that is being given. I seriously doubt that WW will turn away from their current path. I seriously doubt that there is anything which will be done that will save the company. I am sad.

Your feedback and concerns are taken very seriously, Mike. We would never want you to lose interest in WW and we appreciate you as a dedicated member. A Resolution Specialist will reach out to you shortly. We look forward to speaking with you further.

It makes sense. I only wish I could make lifetime without going to meetings. Maybe by sending pics of yourself and your scale to a coach? I just don't want to fit one more thing into my life. Otherwise, everything about WW is great. Thank you.

Thank you for your positive feedback and congrats on your success, Leann! We will forward your request to the appropriate teams for review and consideration. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. Best of luck on your continued success!

I was going to a studio, but it was inconvenient with work, so I switched to doing just the app. I reached my Goal weight using the app, but you don't receive any of the WW benefits if you are using only the WW app, you need to go to a studio, which they don't have at time for people who work. Studio hours should be offered super early in the day, before work, and late in the evening, after work. I did like the support in the Studio and the Coach, and I like the tracking in the app. I like the convenience of the app.

First, we want to congratulate you on reaching your goal! This is a great accomplishment and we are so happy for you! We would love the opportunity to provide you with options so you can be a Lifetime member, Crystal. A Resolution Specialist will reach out to you privately. We look forward to speaking with you.

The new Wellness that Works program is great for someone who wants to change eating habits and get better at identifying foods that are good and healthy for you. The food scanner is a "godsend"! The free food list is great to shop with too. Keeping track of everything can be tedious but it helps to see what you are eating and the points involved.

I have tried many different weight loss methods. This is my 3rd time with WW (they say third times a charm!) - this is the 1st time I have lost weight and learning. Losing weight is only 1/2 the battle, learning how to keep it off is the true challenge and I truly feel that for the 1st time I am learning this. I am also learning that I'm human, it's ok to go over points on occasion, but it's important to get right back to the program. I'm done 9 lbs in 5 weeks - it works, I have more to go, but I excited to learn and keep the weight off.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th time back to WW. I love the freestyle program. I have been in the program since January 17th 2019. I have successfully lost 11.8 lbs so far. I still have probably 100 lbs. The free food makes this new program so much easier than past programs. I believe that I could actually live with this one and keep the weight off this time. My eldest sister who has never tried to lose weight before just got her 100lb pin. My younger sister just hit the 40 lb mark and is still going. I do think ww is getting very expensive though. I guess that is why I put off joining this time.

I quit tracking and eventually stopped coming to meetings. I went off the rails and gained weight. I know WW works, so I came back. Since January 14 I have lost 10.2 lbs, tracked my meals, been active at least 4 days a week and have come to meetings. I have lost weight every week. Every week. Sometimes it's a big loss, sometimes as little as 0.4 lbs, but I'm losing. I'm a believer in WW. It is the easiest plan that lets you eat real foods and lets you figure out what you want to weigh. I signed up for the Weight Watchers online program in March 2018. Decided to cancel it so I called in July 2018 to do so. The customer service rep told me it was cancelled but then offered me a “free month” for being a good member. Fast forward to today when I finally realized that all this time they never cancelled it. What they did was give me a free month & basically started a subscription over again.
So now here we are March 2019 & I have been charged $160 for something I wasn’t using because I thought it was canceled! They stated that I was required to call after the free month was over to cancel again! I asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times while on this call & kept being told they were on another call & would basically tell me the same thing. They stated “no refunds” because I never have canceled. It’s very disheartening that they take advantage of good people. I always thought they were a stand up company but they are not. So don’t I repeat DON’T sign up for their services!
What is even more shady is during this time I had some identity theft happen to me so I had to cancel all my credit cards & somehow they accessed my new card! I did not ever give them my new card info because I had no idea I still had a subscription. They have my new card info! Scary how these things happen but they found a way to keep charging me! Disgusting! I work hard for my money to be taken advantage of like that!

Hi WW team! I LOVE your program. It works. WW takes all the guesswork out of the things I tend to overthink most - my weight, and the food and exercise I need for optimum health. I've been vegan for several months, and now that I've added WW as a weight-loss tool to work in conjunction, I've been seeing steady, rapid weight loss - and other kinds of noticeable other health improvements as well. My skin, hair, nails, energy level and sleep habits have all improved.
My only ask is for there to be more vegan recipes and vegan WW-brand foods available. I wanted to buy one of the new WW Peanut Butter Protein Stix or WW Sweet and Salty Nut Bars on Amazon when I saw them on there recently, but I couldn't as they all had dairy ingredients. Please consider giving vegans at least one option, I would definitely buy them. Go Team Vegan+WW! Thanks for listening, Erin.

I knew whatever I chose needed to be maintainable the rest of my life. That meant keto, paleo, vegan, meal replacements and other diet methods were out: I hate having any foods on a "forbidden" list. Bread? Cheese? Dessert? Restaurants? Yes, please. And because there are over 200 0-point options, I never ran out of food before I ran out of day. There's always something you can eat when you're hungry! I've lost about 10 pounds so far, with only 2 more to make it to my goal.

I was extremely disappointed in the rebate offer in the January promotion “lose 10 lbs on us”. I did lose the 10 lbs in the first month. After weighing in, I inquired about the rebate and was given an instruction sheet that directed me to the WW website. Because I am vacationing, I had to find someone with a printer so I could obtain the form. I was required to send a photo of proof of weight loss. I had to take a picture and print it. Again requiring me to go to a facility to get that print out. WW has this info which can be obtained through the WW membership number, so all this inconvenience to the member seems quite unfair and unnecessary. I did finally receive an email from WW which was quite criptic. I could not actually tell that my account had been credited or that this email was actually regarding my bonus rebate. My WW rep was only able to tell me which month my account was paid through.

It’s very easy to adjust my diet so I can eat zero point foods during the week and still enjoy a date night out with my husband. Most of the time I hardly notice that I’m on a diet. I have talked to multiple people (including him) who were on the plan before...all have said the old program was better... there is no such thing as "free"...plus your points, it all needs to be included in the total points. You get dinged in the program if you don't have enough points per day (wellness points for being in a healthy eating zone). What if all your food is free for the day?
I am stuck with the six month subscription and will not be using the app to track. I was hoping to get away from being a calorie counter, but it is the only way to stay on track for the day. Also, what does WW stand for? Why deviate from what was working? The name changed, but there is no clear identity. My guess is was an attempt to have a connection to someone famous whose last name starts with a W (infrey).

I had emotional attachments to food and every excuse in the book on why it “wasn’t for me”. After working on my self esteem and acceptance of me for me, I came back to WW.
