My new site is on second floor and it does not have an elevator, and they had to walk for some good interval from where its station to the stair. I was imagining given it is completely stairs it would take extended to move all stuff up, but guess what, they complete moving and get together my bed within 1 hour. They could effortlessly take longer time and that would still be fair-minded, but they did not do that. No unplanned fees I require to pay on the day, every single item was as transparent and anticipate as when they on condition that the estimate.

I appreciate their excellent service. Their arrival time was 4 to 6. They arrived early and worked non-stop until all of our very carefully wrapped and boxed goods were loaded onto 2 lorry at around 4. Then they made two breaks to unload after a two hour drive, at our rental and our storage places, with everything being completed around 7pm. Throughout, the team remained incredibly expert and friendly. We would highly recommend them.

They are professional criminals. From the 'slick' salesperson who quoted a low estimate, to the 'squeezer' (the night of the move 1am in the morning trying to get more money out of us once they loaded the truck), to the 'crooked' closer who promised one truck direct delivery in 2 days and instead unloaded 2 trucks into their warehouse in Georgia and delivered 8 days later than promised with missing items and damaged furniture! The workers are unprofessional and do not speak English. I had over $10K in stolen/lost items and damages. They do not pick up the phone, voicemail is full, and do not return emails. Still waiting for the insurance to pay pennies on weight (not dollar estimate). I believe there is a class action suit against them. Don't use them!

I was quoted $2,100 for my move, but I ended up paying over $4,000. I even paid for 9 extra boxes, but they only used 5. I provided a detailed written list and a FaceTime walk-through explaining exactly what to take and what to leave. Despite this, they took items that were supposed to stay in my home and left behind important items I needed moved.

I’m filing this complaint regarding a recent move from Atlanta to Boston, for which I paid nearly $3,000. The experience involved dishonesty, contract breaches, and poor service. The sales process was dishonest. We chose this company over a more reputable competitor because they guaranteed features, including full packing and unpacking, that they ultimately did not fulfill. One costly assurance was delivery time frame, which added hundreds to our moving costs when our basic essentials arrived in weeks and not a few days. They even discouraged us from reading the contract closely, saying “everything’s taken care of.” Once they received payment, their behavior changed immediately.

Updated on 11/05/2025: I have not heard anything back from Adam who I was dealing with who said he’d make good on all that transpired with my move. This company has added insult to injury & anyone who uses them beware. It could happen to you as well. You can refer back to my original comment dated August of this year & if there were a negative 0 that’s what you would get. So just know when you do wrong it will come back. So I no longer would accept apologies or anything else. This is how they operate good to some & then not to others. So you are playing Russian roulette. This is to warn others of the shadiness.

Southern Elite Van Lines is a disgrace. They lied about timing, added bogus charges, broke and lost items, and ignored all accountability. CSI, their arbitration company, offered just $240 for thousands in damages. We are now in litigation. This company is dishonest, careless, and predatory. Do not trust them with your move. Atlanta, GA to Dallas, TX. We went from $2,800 original estimate, to $3800 worst case scenario after many video consultations, then wound up paying $6100 after drop off.

We recommend them to pack my whole house, which they did a good job with and generally attention. They quickly responded to our offer for source, with detailed information. However their communication was wonderful. They were right, they all reached safe and sound. The entire team were friendly and helpful. They did a great job in moving out our material from my location. The whole team was efficient, friendly and punctual, they did exactly what I needed. The rate estimate was good with no surprises, customer service has been good at every step, and we were satisfied to have my items put safely into their storage container.

We recently used these movers for our move, and we had a positive experience. Two of the guys were especially considerate, efficient, and professional whole the day, and we really regarded their hard work. Moving is always a complex process and we understand mischance can happen. But the team worked hard to complete our move successfully. They did an excellent job. They were well-behaved, careful, and professional people. Very efficient and very clean during the moving process. They also helped assembled some of our things which was very helpful. If you're looking for reliable and smooth movers we recommend them. Acknowledgement to everyone for making my move so much easy.

Very professional, hardworking, experienced team they managed a very complex pack and move. Very flexible and responsive guys. They have a very reasonable and minimum rates with the reward of excellent customer support. They were very careful, and very efficient in helping us in packing many items and move everything. The guys were so efficient and friendly and helped me with a excellent move out. The prices were very reasonable and they responded very speedy to my messages and calls. We would highly recommend them.

Wonderful movers. We had a little job for them to do and they handled everything excellently. They have good understanding of what to pack very carefully and what to do soon. Everyone was really nice and delightful to work with. The two guys expertly carried our items down and brought all the stuff needed to move as best as possible. They wrapped and packed my things with no damages. Once they reached at my new location they unloaded with hurry, which I really appreciated. Recommended.

Their communication and organizing was excellent. The movers are kind, effectual, and very speedy. We spent the week before they came moving some of our more breakable items ourselves, but it get up, they arranged our things with more care than we did. Pricing was very affordable for the services they provide. We had great experiences with them. Everything was set up perfectly, and the team was great to work with. These guys work really hard. Recommended.

They provided the most complete source, for the whole move and the final cost actually finished being on the lower end of their estimate. Communication was awesome and they showed up on time, the movers were very efficient and professional. We started from 7 to 8 am and were done by around 3am. We were very impressed with how they managed the big truck in my old location. They took great care of all our furniture including our delicate items. We would highly recommended.

They shifted things carefully and efficiently. These guys are the best. They were careful, nice and very hardworking guys. Very professional and attentive throughout move, which included loading the contents of my storage space onto the truck first, and then moving my items in another apartment. They carefully wrapped all container and took great care. Excellent customer service. They were nice and helpful people. This was the only company that gave us a detailed information. Our movers arrived on time, super fast and packed gracefully. They were very friendly and did not leave any scratch. Brilliant guys. Definitely we would highly recommend them.

There were no scratch on walls, floors and hallways in the new and old locations. These movers did really well work. They were able to schedule my move on rapidly. In setting up the move, they thought exactly what we would need in terms of the number of movers and equipment. These movers were nice, professional, efficient, polite and careful with all. They were great. We had a great experience with them. Very professional and efficient guys. They worked quickly and efficiently to pack up and unpack all our items. They were also helpful and give good help, about going up a few pair of stairs on both ends of the move. We would recommend them.

Their quotes are not accurate. They started out getting me a 3100 quote. 2 days before they did a video walkthrough with me and the price now went up to what she told me was the worst case scenario $4800.. I believe they do subcontract out. They told me they were taking the truck to their facility in Augusta Georgia and transferring it to another truck.

If you are considering this company for your move just don’t. They do not respect their customers time, show up hours late, have poor communication and will pressure you into paying more than agreed by claiming you're exceeded the cubic feet on the estimate. Despite measurements to the contrary. Do not believe the salesmen or the statement on the estimate that if it’s on the inventory then even if it’s outside the cubic feet they won’t charge extra, they absolutely do whether it’s actually outside the cubic feet or if they just claim that. They didn’t put anything they took apart back together and I’m missing pieces to my bed because it wasn’t put back together so I didn’t realize it until they left. Then they claimed the truck was empty but my Father saw the missing pieces on the truck when they first arrived to unload.

Although there were tremendous difficulties initially, the company did respond to my inquiry and have resolved the situation, professionally, financially and fully. I want to thank them for their time and attention to the matter immediately.

When initially contacted with three different verification of all that would be shipped. Day of moved two truckers notified that they were in town. While inside the needed to wrap furniture in plastic wrap, which when unloaded plastic didn't protect and charged extra for wrapping. I had to pay extra monthly fees for storage because of houses shortages in Rochester. I received a call from one trucker movers that I had to take my belongings or be sold at auction. I had to rent another storage and different movers to a house I finally bought.

So active and responsible people, these guys were awesome. They were so amazing. Also, they were just such respectable guys. This was a wonderful experience we had working with them on our latest home move. This was quick to respond to all my problems in advance of the move. We would highly recommend them.

Honest company. Each time has gone very smoothly with kind and suitable team. They were extremely good and responded quickly to emails and messages. They have good rates, arrived on time and nice guys. Since they were very organized with packs and rooms labeled, they finished sooner than the time given so they reduced the rates. Highly recommended.

There are no surprise costs on day of the move, upon arrival to my new place, they put all the things together where I wanted it, and took all the excess wrapping litter out with them. Hey just wanted to say very professional team was here. I have been using moving companies the last 10 years for my job. It was horrible but Southern elite change that. They were very professional. Very good customer service and same day delivery. I will use them again for sure. Thank you guys.

Used this Company and am thousands of dollars out as well as personal items that they loaded up and removed without authorization. Only one person spoke passable English, the one person broke his hand moving a table within 10 minutes of arriving and sat in the truck for the next 6 hours without anyone from the Company arranging transport to an emergency room. Two of the other workers wouldn't put down their phones while working. My moving dolly was taken from my garage and used to load my furniture (not an issue) but was then taken when they left. Large screen TV arrived cracked and is no longer working.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience with Southern Elite Van Lines, I felt it was well deserved. From the very beginning, the service was top-notch. Sam, my sales representative, was amazing to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Moving can be overwhelming, but Sam made it feel simple and stress-free.

Extremely professional and friendly. I generally don’t leave reviews, but these guys went above and beyond in every way possible. Really great group of guys. I would recommend Southern Elite Van lines to anyone looking for a fantastic move. Clark was really great through the whole move, and really answered all my questions throughout, and I had a lot LOL. I can say enough about these guys, and they saved me money on pickup too, which was really great.

Lack of communication. Will not answer my texts or return my phone calls. Pick-up date was scheduled for: 4/11/25 -4/12/25 without any time windows. I have called and texted numerous times with no response to neither. I feel that have been ghosted and need answers. Deposit have been made but no service have been provided. Very poor customer service and lack of communication. Absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior (besides death, which I would understand) otherwise, it is extremely unprofessional.

Liars!! They quote you one thing but add more when supervisor calls. They say they don’t subcontract their work and that workers in Southern Elite Van Lines uniforms and trucks. Not true!!! Some men in a Ryder truck showed up 6 hours late arriving at 10:30 pm speaking Arabic NOT wearing Southern Elite Van Libes uniforms. Then subcontracted the delivery making me pay an additional 350 cash!!! And then I have boxes missing in my Christmas tree missing! The delivery driver did not return any of my phone calls or text messages when I realized I still missing stuff. Do not use them for moving unless you’re planning on spinning an additional $2000.

Our recommendation is DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We experienced unfair and deceptive selling practices from Southern Elite Van Lines, LLC, primarily from the salesperson named Sam ** and one named Charles, the "dispatcher." After a detailed inventory video call to establish a more accurate estimate, the dispatcher, Charlie, charged us approximately $500 over the original estimate. I was told the total resulting cubic foot reflected the maximum cost.

Move from Ga. to Fla. Poor communication after accepting their contract. Didn't arrive when scheduled nor any communication of the delay. Quoted a price based on video and pictures of storage. When picking up had to pay extra $900.00. Spoke to several people and still no explanation of returned call. Was afraid of this happening so was very careful of providing all I could for accurate quote. End result was, "Oh well not our problem." I had even asked for extra cushion on pricing just in case and was told I would be good with the quote. Sent final video of storage before move date again to be sure of pricing. I can say that the movers that delivered my things were very nice and tried to fix the things that were damaged when they unloaded.

Great company to use, excellent customer service and affordable prices. I moved from South Carolina to Florida. They charge me $2900.00 to move a three bedroom apt. All my belongings were very well wrapped and got here in a mint condition. The movers were very professional. Cordial and helpful. I definitely recommend their service.

Really great experience working with Chris at Southern Elite. We moved my grandmother from Raleigh NC to Orlando to have her be closer to us. This was a huge stress because we don't live in NC. We needed her 3 bedroom home moved partially to our house and partially into storage. Everything was handled with care, Highly recommend, will use them again.
