If you have to give stars then I have to take 1. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with moving. Sinatra moving brokered out my move after a binding quote, supposed. These showed on time, loaded the truck, then the price went UP !. They've had my belongings since July 30th. I've called Sinatra moving, Southern Elite Van Lines repeatedly to get a confirmation of when I would get my things. Nobody has any answers, only excuses and double talk. Today I get a call finally from David with Southern Elite Van Lines telling me my check has bounced.. Ok.. The driver was supposedly going to call when the check would be deposited so I could transfer the money over for the move. The call never came and the funds having been sitting there waiting. So now I find out my things are STILL in GA where this whole mess started.

If there were negative stars that would be my rating of choice. I strongly suggest you DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER! They talk a good talk but it is all false. I hired them to move from my house, store furniture, than move furniture out of state. They were careless all the way around and broke several items, mishandling most furniture and pack your items carelessly. To file a claim you are forced you to file thru another company. If your claim is approved, So. Elite never responds. You can try to email and call, but crickets! They ended up massively over charging in the end. Paperwork is poorly handled. They say they use there own trucks and employees which was not the case. They were suppose to deliver, place furniture in correct rooms, reassemble, and remove trash. That did not happen. It was a nightmare all the way around. BEWARE!

Deceptive advertising. They are not on anybody’s Forbes list. Hard selling on the front end. It should’ve been a red flag when they would not accept American Express and they required a cash or postal money order payment at delivery. Difficulty reaching mgt. as in the manager. Has no manager. Defensive. For example, I asked one lady if the company is based stateside or outside of the US to which snarkily responded “do I sound like I’m not from the US?” I was asking because I thought maybe the company headquarters was in a different time zone because it took them a while to get back to me. The actual workers in the field or very professional and careful in the way they moved my items into an out of the truck. I had the same crew of two men both times.

I was double charged when freight was picked up. Called the Company and told the 2 people I had dealt with was no longer there. Spoke to someone else and never heard back. Today, was called and said they were closing the doors and needed to ship my household goods immediately. Very strange having me run around trying to deal with this mess!!!

Please look elsewhere when planning your mover. Initially, back in early April of this year, the sales agent was very friendly and cooperative, until the deposit was submitted. After that, the direct dial number he gave me belonged to someone else, and the backup number and person's information was also belonging to someone else, getting v/mails on both and no return calls.

I repeat- DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I don't want what happened to me to happen to someone else for a long distance move. Short story- their sales team will be super responsive and over promise all these things, and then completely fall off once you make your deposit. This company is a broker and does not actually move your items, they sub contract it out which was not disclosed to me upon booking. They promised me expedited shipping which I paid extra for and was the main reason I moved forward with this company, only for them to break the contract, leaving my family without a place to stay for multiple nights.

From the first time I talked to Somdina on the call, the experience was highly professional. Alan and Ramios appeared on time at 9am and were tremendously fast yet aware with all of our 50 plus boxes and furniture. The location we moved into has multiple flights of stairs and they were able to move through all of that and all while it was down drizzling rain, no less! These movers even had to take our main entrance door off its hinges to get our settee through without one scratch.

Horrible moving company! I regret ever choosing them. They were recommended by Consumer Affairs with a high rating. They did not deliver some of my household goods, some items of great value both sentimental and monetary were removed from a jewelry box within a sealed plastic bin, they broke several items due to their carelessness, and they cost me a day of pay by completely missing their stated timeframe for delivery. The delivery crew were lazy with placing furniture and other items where I instructed them to and failed to reassemble all the furniture which had been taken apart at pickup. Worst moving experience I have had and I have moved a lot over the years. Absolutely do not hire them!

Hired them to move my belongings from NC to FL, the price quoted doubled once everything was loaded. Took them three weeks to finally deliver. They require you to sign the bill of lading before they unload, 98% of everything was damaged beyond use or even missing. The guys unloading blamed the loaders, and wouldn’t as the missing items as a note to the already signed bill of lading. I proceeded to file a claim per the contract terms. They pay per weight not value. What cost me at an excess of $28k to replace, they offered me $276 in compensation. By far the worst experience ever, they will scam you and destroy your valuable!!

Absolutely awful! Beware it’s a total scam. They get you to sign up for a really good deal and then arrive and charge double. If you’re going to use these people, either be a lawyer or yourself or have a really good one on staff. Absolutely terrible experience. We were supposed to get our stuff back to New York and showed up, wasted about three hours and then had to cancel the whole thing. Definitely be careful we sent pictures to Charlie and Chris, we negotiated a price, and then we were surprised by a charge of double the amount. Buyer beware.

They attended, they worked hard, and to a certain extent made one of life most demanding tasks feel totally manageable and, honestly, enjoyable at times. It was worth every penny to buy back some calmness and extra time.

Southern Elite Van Lines delivered a very professional and reliable moving service. From the initial communication to the final delivery, everything was handled smoothly. Their customer service team was responsive and clearly explained the process, which made planning the move much easier. On moving day, the crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. They carefully wrapped the furniture, handled fragile items with care, and maintained a respectful attitude throughout the move. The team was well-organized and made sure all items were placed correctly at the destination.

I hired Southern Elite Van Lines to move my three bedroom house in Wonder Lake, IL to a townhouse house in Boynton Beach, FL. Every communication, by phone, email and text was clear and panoramic. The day I moved it was raining. Nothing was broken. Nothing was soiled. Very thankful.

We had a great experience with movers. I was having a difficult time finding someone to help us move. But Southern Elite Van Lines were available and reasonably priced. We wanted to move a lot of stuff ourselves to help save money. They were flexible and open to what we wanted. The team was friendly and professional. The whole family commented on how great the movers were!

Easy to set up date or time of move via email and call. The day ahead of I obtain an email to authenticate. The moving guys including Kevin, Mason and Shams showed up on time. Very efficient and professional. Round off furniture and tables in protective cloth or plastic wraps.

I heard of Southern Elite Van Lines from a friend that highly recommended I hire them for my next move. I moved into a 3 bedroom apartment last month and so thankful I went with these guys! They are extremely helpful, professional and reliable! The prices are the lowest I could find after doing my research and there was no big surprise cost added on at the end. This truly is a great company and you won't be let down!

I was moving to a new apartment and a friend recommended Southern Elite Van Lines. I called them and they were very friendly and helpful. I have to say that it was the best choice for my moving needs. The move went very smooth and easily. They provided great service and everything was done how I would want it to be. I highly recommend it to anybody moving as a great choice.

Absolutely horrible experience. If you are already involved, document and take a lot of pictures for proof. Otherwise, they overcharge. Communication is horrible. They are off on the weekends so if your move is on the weekend, forget about getting something resolved. A nightmare. The movers did not want to give a receipt for a cash transaction. The customer contact person was rude. It was one bad experience after another. Stay away. Not worth it. Do not believe their quotes.

This was my first experience of using mover's service and I have to admit, the experience was great. They were very approachable and responsive from the time of booking to completion. I was impressed to see the level professionalism and commitment that the team took to make it a hassle free, damage proof and fast move. All in all a great service.

I used Southern Elite Van Lines to help me with a bigger, general move. Very pleased with the service. Good communication, reliable, hard working, and polite. Took very good care of my personal belongings and did not break anything. Showed up on-time and ready to work. No dilly-dallying. Would use them again.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Southern Elite Van Lines. Their staff were very efficient, polite, friendly and worked tremendously hard. The removal and placing items in our new home was exemplary and appropriate questions were asked regularly to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. We feel that their charges were most reasonable considering what was done and we would certainly recommend them whenever we can.

A nightmare start to finish-the price jumped 50% from the original quote and another 50% the day of the move (and they showed up a day late and delivered four days after they originally told us they were arriving)-poor communication and sketchy paperwork. Not a single piece of furniture made it unscathed-scratches and dents on everything. 5-10 boxes disappeared and some of those items cannot be replaced. They never told us they were transferring our belongings to a large van and we assume that is how boxes went missing.

They worked quickly and carefully, it was clear that they knew exactly what they were doing. When we arrived at the house, they placed everything exactly where we wanted it in a very efficient and careful way. We had some laughs and, over all, we had a great time together. Their professionalism went above and beyond.

From the very beginning Southern Elite Van Lines came across as friendly and efficient. We have been extremely pleased with the service we have received and would not hesitate to recommend to others. On the day, they worked very hard to attend to all our needs. They went out of their way to be accommodating and were super efficient. Have finished unpacking and nothing is broken!

If I could give zero, I would. This company is unreliable and unprofessional. Between the broken furniture, poor ethics (driver intentionally took our paperwork from us and drove off), we are disgusted. We are pursing legal measures and have testaments from several employees. This company scams the elderly and is fraudulent. Run!

I was very pleased with Southern Elite Van Lines. I used them for the first time, recently, and would definitely recommend them! They were organized and courteous at every level of the process. They were on time, friendly, and communicative. They took care of everything, and were sure to answer any questions. The entire process went smoothly. They did a very nice job, and kept me informed, along the way, before delivery. It was a very satisfying experience!

David was very attentive to my needs. What impressed me the most was their professionalism throughout the move. They worked diligently to pack my belongings carefully and make sure everything was protected during the move. No any hidden fees, and they stuck to the estimate given upfront.

Movers were equipped with all required materials, and handle every item with attention. Fragile belongings are covered and secured properly, while larger furniture is disassembled and reassembled smoothly. Their packing service is especially remarkable, organized, methodical and designed to minimize damage during transportation.

Called Southern Elite Van lines a few days before my move and they provided a very good rate for my moving needs. Two movers, Jerry and Duane, came ten minutes early on the day of the move date and got right to work. We moved the entire 1 bedroom apartment, including travel to the storage, in exactly same time as quoted!

Their employees are friendly and polite people, and they stick to the schedule. Their customer service is great, and they also follow up well, and provide notifications as needed. They are very careful with the items they ship, and overall, a very professional moving company!

The two movers who helped me were extremely efficient, experienced and handled all my small and large furniture and delicate articles with great care. Despite a slight communication barrier, as the movers were outsiders who did not speak fluent English, they were able to know enough to accommodate my requests and get the job done smoothly and seamlessly.

Highly professional. Very helpful in assisting us with move. All our items arrived in perfect condition and within the timeframe quoted. Our other items also arrived at their perspective locations without any problems. Communication with the company was top notch.

NO - THEY ARE NOT LEGIT!!! I AM ONLY GIVING 1 STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T POST UNLESS I RATE...My former Manager tried to warn me, but it was too late! This company nickel and dimes you for every little thing, including "going over space" which I have never heard of. But if you like watching every single item you own be broken down to pieces and screws, given various delivery dates that they do not meet, or talk to the absolute rudest people on God's green earth, you have the right company!

Absolutely the worst moving experience. Do not chose this company. They will lie to you and charge you extra and not deliver your belongings for over a week. I'm still waiting on my belongings and they charged me double.

The clients service, the movers, and everyone else were highly professional and friendly. The movers managed everything with care and worked quickly and expertly. It was also a great value for all the work they did and as quickly as they did it. I was nervous about our move but after reading so many positive reviews about them, we decided to contact them for a reference. I was in contact with guy to coordinate my move. This guy was my main point of contact and he was very helpful, polite, communicative, and honest. He was assigned as my mover and he was extremely hard working, punctual, and kind. He was professional and clearly knew what he was doing.

I recently moved from NC to WI and these guys did a great job. They helped me pack and loaded everything with care. Within a week I was able to get all of my belongings. Everything was wrapped and well taken care of. Pricing was fair. Will use them again if needed and for sure will refer them out.

We have moved many times and used a different moving company each time but this was by far the most effective move. They arrived on time, ready and wasted no time. We expected for 3pm and they were a few minutes before times so they can see what needed to be winded up, protected and moved. After that 3 more movers joined him and clear the whole place in less than 3 hours. They unpacked everything even quicker. Total process probably took 3hours. We were quoted for 4-5 hours so very pleased with the results.

My recommendation anyone looking at this moving company do not use them. Sales person Sam ** who quoted this to be a direct move from SC to NY made false statement. I made several phone calls. No-one would pick up the phone. They waited to load with 3 moves a move from MB to NY which should have been maybe 14 hrs took 9 days. I advised all items plus had a Zoom call and I believe they scammed me for more money at pick up.

I strongly advise anyone needing to have their household furniture moved, to not use Southern Elite Van Lines. They are the biggest scam artists I have ever come into contact with. After our household furniture was moved from North Carolina to California, we encountered excessive damage to various pieces of furniture and décor. This company has the absolute worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with.
