1st mistake..was on the Web looking for movers. Got a phone call right away wanting the info about my move…where from and where to? What are the items you want moved…the dates for pick-up and delivery, etc. After supplying that info I was given an estimate of what the move would cost, $5000. 2nd mistake…"Sounds good," I said, "But could you knock off $500 and we’ll have a deal." O.K. $4500. He says, "I’ll e-mail you a bill of lading with the details" and then message me with a photo of a personal check for $1581. So I believe that’s going toward the moving van. What a schmuck am I.
