The credit card for auto-pay expired. The only way to contact the company to give a new card # was by phone. Repeated calls to the store went to voice mail. I did not want to leave the card number for security reasons. Being overseas, with a time difference, I didn't leave a call back #. When I finally connected, it was just a few days past my payment due date. I was charged a late fee. Getting nowhere with the store staff, I submitted a request for credit to Customer Service on their website. My complaints are: 1. No courtesy notice to inform my card was declined (as many other service providers do); 2. No alternative contact method, such as email; 3. No response from Corporate on my online request for credit of the late fee. I don't feel that my business is valued by this company.

I rented a climate-controlled unit with a security camera. My unit was robbed and I found a new lock at the door. My stuff valued at 5000$ was gone! The local manager said to file police report and give detailed info on stolen items and I might get 2000$ back. Two months later I have not seen anything and then called the company. There is no ticket on the claim.

My experience was great, but the staff was polite and helpful. They were always there to answer any wand concerns. I recommend iStorage In Auburndale/Orange St. I had unit space 80. They always greeted us with cold water.

After 7 years, we cannot take it anymore. Every month/quarter they raise the prices. Right now we are paying $505 for what is advertised as $347 on their website. We can upgrade or downgrade but are not allowed to move out of our 500 unit and claim the advertised 347 unit. The place is not/hardly climate controlled. The A/C did not work for years and we lost a lot of electronics due to the humidity (never filed a claim). Cold as hell in the winter. Finally, the 10x20 unit they advertise is actually 9x18 foot. Bathroom did not work for a couple years either. We will be moving elsewhere. They are awful!

This is the absolute worst experience ever in my life. I am told things by on site management and then it is not held up. I was at this facility for many years before it became IStorage and had no issues and was never late on payments. I actually had 4 units. Since it became IStorage I am down to one unit and plan to move it as soon as possible. I had auto pay for years and when they took over it was no longer in system. Before I knew it I had numerous late fees and they were preparing to sell my stuff at an auction. Never got any notice of anything. When you try to handle things in the office the management seems to be so helpful but never follows through with anything except to bad mouth the company she works for.
I rented from the LaMarque Texas facility and it has now become my biggest headache. I now owe over 130.00 for a 55.00 unit. Was owed money on a unit I cleared out prior and was like pulling teeth to get that. Then they say the credit was already given. Do yourself a favor and save yourself any problems. Do not rent from these people. They are crooked as they come and will do nothing but rip you off. They have security fences with alarms on units yet they have been broken into and did not even know until the following day and the manager lives on the property. How does that happen? Most horrible business I have ever dealt with in my life.

iStorage in LaGrange,Ga is the worst storage to rent. Rented from them for 4 years they go up every 4 to 6 months. The rats are terrible, the bugs are all over. Paid for the insurance and it didn't cover my valuables.

After 30 years, I moved out of iStorage. When the pandemic hit and most of us lost our jobs, I asked the office what they were offering the tenants to help for a couple months. I was told that iStorage would wave the $2.00 fee for using the auto-pay line. How big of them. After all my years of paying them monthly, that is what they offered to help. And still in the pandemic, still unemployed, they raised rent by $10.00 a month. How American.

We are in the middle of a pandemic & most people like me are out of work. I have to deliver food to pay my rent but when I called to see if they could stop adding late fees and auctions processes all they could say was, "We can lessen the price by $40." I'm losing family memories & my 1 and only child's (daughter) baptismal dress because I can't afford 2 month's rent right now. I'm struggling and all these people want is MONEY. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I'd rather had kept my things on my a stranger's door step.

Unclean location. Always raising rates! Had a unit 5 months and had a rate increase during this high pandemic! I mean who does that! A company that just does not care for its customers. IStorage is known for treating its customers poorly. Avoid if possible. They will take advantage.

I want to make this review short and sweet. I have paid to have my furniture stored at the IStorage facility in White House Tennessee, even before it was IStorage. I would see ads to store in that facility for "far less" than what I have been paying for years, however when I questioned this, there is NO consideration given to be a good customer, and long time customer of theirs, one who pays every month like clockwork, no problems with me.
They suck you in for a very attractive price but then after about 2-3 months, you get jacked up, and what are you going to do, you have already rented a van, paid people to move huge furniture, it's not a simple thing to pick up a ton of furniture and move it again, because the storage company has no contract and has the right to make rent increases in short order and I can assure you, they WILL DO THIS TO YOU, a teaser rate to get in, and once you are in you get zapped with rental increases, where it's not even practical to keep your own furniture. If you rent with these people, GET A GUARANTEED RATE FOR 5 YEARS OR GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY WILL GIVE YOU A GUARANTEED RATE.
