Do not rent at this storage facility. I have been renting here for 7 months now and for the past 3 months it has not been secured. The gate is wide open 24/7 and the facility door is open 24/7. For the past 3 months I have got messages that they will going to do repairs but it never said that it wasn't going to be secured. Anybody can go in here and steal your valuables. This is not a very good area and at night there's many drug dealers and homeless people that can actually walk into the facility and be there when anybody goes in. I have called several times reporting this and they always say, "We're going to email the higher up" but nothing ever comes of it. Your stuff is not secure here. Do not rent.

NSA Storage increased my rate by 32% after just two months. They are clearly using bait and switch tactics to lure you in. Called them and they said the rate is based on market conditions and that I could move out if the new rate isn't acceptable.

When NSA purchased the iStorage facility in Palmetto FL they immediately started increasing rents. I finally had to leave when my 5x10 was $119 a month!! That is a ridiculous amount, when other storage facilities in the area are advertising $30 a month for the same size. Also they do not prorate charges or give partial rebates even under extraordinary circumstances ( my wife and I both being hospitalized). A very greedy corporation.

The rent continues to go up. I’m sorry I don’t understand the purpose of raising rent on cement blocks that store items. Items just sit there. Requires No electricity, no heat. Nothing. I’m sure someone walks around to verify locked units are locked but what other “care” do they provide? When I’m on site I never see anyone in the office. With everything else on the rise (food, gas, utility bills. Rent, etc) it’s pitiful and people can’t afford to store items in an affordable place. It just makes no sense. The owners sit back and raise the rent and collect a lot of money monthly and then don’t have to do much of anything Unlike a landlord with a home to care for but yet they raise rent every few months. For what? Whatever happened to good business owners who aren’t out here to price gouge people?

Horrible customer service!!! Threatened to call the police on us for having the delivery truck pull up to the door for easier unload straight into our storage unit. After explaining we would be less than 5 minutes and this storage units is ALWAYS empty and nobody is ever there, INCLUDING STAFF, why would it be a big deal. She still threatened to call the police on us for blocking the sidewalk and trying to be in and out faster!!! Instead, the driver had to drop 4 pallets on the sidewalk for us to unload all 32 boxes at 75 pounds per box and hand carry each one into our storage unit. Which ironically, had us blocking the sidewalk for over a half hour instead of 5 minutes of unloading and leaving. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I normally don’t post things like this, but what happened to me at NSA Storage / SecurCare Self Storage in Conyers needs to be public. People deserve to know how this company treats customers — especially customers going through the worst moments of their lives. I was storing my late sister’s belongings there. She unexpectedly passed away on the evening of March 5, and I’ve been trying to handle everything while grieving. The last thing I needed was a storage company making things harder. I went into the office IN PERSON to change my billing date from the 26th to the 1st. They told me the prorated charge would be $0.97, which I approved right then and there.
Later, they claimed they “didn’t have authorization,” even though I gave it, and they NEVER told me the billing date wasn’t changed. I told the manager, Michael, on March 27 that I was moving out the next day and would have everything out by March 30. He knew exactly what I was dealing with. He knew these were my sister’s things. He knew I was trying to close out her affairs. And he STILL didn’t tell me the billing date change wasn’t processed. Instead, they charged me the full $23.05 instead of the $0.97 I had already approved. So I called corporate, thinking surely someone would fix this obvious mistake. I spoke with Arthur and Alexander, both “escalation supervisors.” Not only did they refuse to correct the charge, but Arthur actually said to me: “Sorry, mistakes happen.” Yes — the company admitted THEY made the mistake… and then refused to fix it.
Who treats grieving customers like this? Who acknowledges an error and then refuses to correct it? What kind of company operates this way? I’m filing complaints with the BBB, ConsumerAffairs, and every review platform I can find. And I’m posting this publicly so no one else has to go through this kind of treatment — especially during a time of loss. If you’ve had issues with this company, speak up. Companies only get away with this when people stay quiet.

Horrible experience, Kelly has been a nightmare, district manager is no help at all! Rat droppings everywhere, they have eaten through most of my boxes! Ceilings is fallen, making a mess, I've had to throw away most everything! It takes a while to empty units because I don't want to put all the dirt, rat droppings, and sand in my car, and they don't offer dumpsters, even though they charge over 150+ for units! Lesson learned, never again!

December 11th, a little before I had to leave for Washington, I had pre-paid for, and bought a larger unit to transfer my stuff to, right before I had to leave for Washington and couldn't be back till January 5th, so I would need till at least the 10th to transfer all the things out of two other units myself and my son were paying for and occupying for over 10 years. Even though I didn't have time before we left to do much then, I had an agreement that I could have 10 days into January, because I wouldn't be back till Jan 5th, which was previously agreed upon with Dior, the mgr, at the time, that I wasn't gonna have to pay in full for the month of January, for the other 2 units and had worked out a deal with previous manager Dior, to have open access up to the 10th of Jan, to move things out.
But when I came back in December before I left, after I bought the larger unit, just to do a little bit of transferring before I left, to the new unit I bought December 11th, I found that Dior was no longer working there, and saw that my other units were completely infested, and my property had been drastically damaged by ?rat infestation, droppings, shredded papers, new boxes, etc., realizing that this being a major biohazard for me to do any transferring then, so when I tried to plead for the expected and previously agreed upon time, and cleaning supplies, for when I come back, I was screamed at by Cyanna? Assistant mgr? Stating Dior no longer works here, so that's that, and it's my problem, nothing she will do, and she didn't want to be bothered claiming that I was taking 45min of her time already (15min was all, video).
She wouldn't deal with any of it, and that I would have to pay in full for the next month if it all was not cleaned out throughly, by me before January 1st, even though I had already tried to re-explain, that I couldn't be back to do anything until after January 5th, at which point, later she connected me to the other unit and blocked my gate codes to not allow me back in or out, till I paid all of the storages in full again for January and now, even though everything is fully paid, including the new larger one that I was trying to transfer to, she is still screaming and cussing at me, any time I try to ask for anything, causing drastic gross negligence and conversion.
I reported her to another person that she doesn't listen to anything and just screams, while the hallways had the same trash and filth in them from before, I left in December to when I came back in January, even?dog poop,(not cleaned for 3 days, pictured and documented) were up and down the hallways to my unit. Have already spoken to others. I have been here for over 10 years, and didn't have any problems with any of the staff till Cyanna. Nobody like that, should be working in customer service or mgr?? ( I have witnesses too.)

Bait-and-switch pricing. We agreed to $165/month with the first month free for winter boat storage. After the very first paid month, they immediately raised the price to $215 — nearly a 30% increase. That is not a “market adjustment”; it’s bait-and-switch. What makes this worse is that there are multiple empty units of the same size in the same row, and 15+ competing storage facilities within 10 miles. Raising prices under those conditions makes no sense unless the goal is to squeeze existing customers. The unit itself is fine, and the location is decent for us but the security fence is in visibly poor condition, which is unacceptable for a facility advertising secure storage. Between the misleading pricing practices and lack of basic upkeep of the fence, I would not recommend this company.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We rented 2 of their largest units (10 x 20) in October for $335 per month. We moved in. The place is clean and accessible. No complaints. And then the day before the third month rent is due --they send a notice that the rate is increasing by 21% to $404. According to someone I spoke with at the corporate office, where I called to find out what was going on, this is what they do to all renters after 2 months.
The rates are not any less than anyplace else, we chose the unit for convenience. This company clearly anticipates that after the two month mark - once everything is moved in - the cost of moving out and re-doing all of that labor will be too much hassle and people will pay. SUCH A SCAM. And what an absolute bummer to have to deal with right before the holidays.

Rent has increased 41% in just 2 years, and increases have occurred twice per year. This is the most poorly managed company I've had the misfortune of dealing with. I've gone twice with a Uhaul to the facility, and been unable to access my unit. There wasn't a locksmith or anyone on site to assist after paying $500.10 for a 10x10 unit. I moved to a senior apartment 2 weeks ago. And am still sleeping on the floor. Being a senior, I was entitled to a 5% discount, which I've never gotten. Their area manager was no better. They add a 20$ late fee plus a 75$ lien fee plus an auction block fee 40$ plus other hidden fees that they can’t give you specific dates on when you will be charged. We filed a Police Report and we've been going through our stuff. We've been making a List of items we have missing. So far $600.00 worth of Scrapbooking stuff, $450.00 worth of Cosmetics, $200.00 worth of Jewelry so far. We asked Management if there was anything on the Cameras, she played dumb and said they don't work half the time. We have had our Unit since 2022 and this is the first time it's been broken into. Then they are wanting me to pay my balance of when I wanted to get my stuff out that day but investigators told me do not touch the unit until they get finished investigating. One of the representative called me saying that I owe an outstanding balance in my stuff was going to put on auction.
They took very valuables and the insurance will not pay out saying that they need receipts and the worker stole the box of receipts that was in the front of the storage shed, stole all my DJ equipment, all of my DJ lights, TVs, empty propane tanks that were $100 a piece and still yet to pay me my insurance that their employee damaged tuck speakers that was valued over a $1,000 and he was taking the insurance money and drop my policy down to $2,000.
Now I have to suffer from the stuff that I lost mentally, physically and they took my dad's son and my dead mother and my dead father's stuff and will not give me my stuff by what they said I have to pay first. I lost over $40,000 in my first storage, had the money to pay for my storage on the day of storage, the same employee who broke into my storage did not tell me that someone had bought my storage and I was not given the opportunity to buy my storage before all of my late deceased mother stuff was sold at auction

I purchased the insurance for three units I received $1500 from the insurance company. I complained to the managers of the facilities, which were very nice. They could not believe what they saw. So I spoke with the district manager of that area, and I sent him all my pictures of items that were covered in mold and made a list of items.
The total that I came up with was around $13,000 worth of damage. He sent them all up to corporate and now they will not reimburse me for the damage that they’re building had done. They had a leak in the roof never informed us they did fix it.
