Great Job Moving and Storage Reviews

My mom needed to do new carpet in her apartment, and she had so much furniture. The people who were going to do the carpet told her. "We don't move furniture." It was going to be very difficult for my mom (because she is very old) and for us to move the furniture, so we called Great Job Moving and Storage to move them and keep them in the truck until my mom changes the carpet, and then to bring the furniture back. After we moved the furniture to the truck, the appointment with the people to change the carpet changed to the next day. Great Job told us we can keep the furniture in the truck overnight with them, and we had to pay for that. They took the furniture to the company and brought it back the next day. All in all, our experience was very good.

I would recommend Great Job Moving for a moving job. They were the only company that followed up with me and decided to work with me on my budget. They gave me a discount and that stuck out for me. I spoke to somebody on the phone and told them what I had. They sent me a list via email for me to review and confirm. Then they provided me with the quote. However, I had to call the company twice to confirm my move. When I was speaking to the people that gave me the estimate, they made it sound like they would follow up a week before I would move and the day before I moved to give me the time and the window. But four days prior to my move, I hadn't heard from anybody. I had to call them three days before to make sure. Someone called me back that afternoon and someone also called me the day before. But I felt I had to be the initiator when I shouldn't have had to.

I can't speak highly enough about Great Job Moving and Storage. From the get-go, their customer support team was not only helpful but genuinely invested in making my move smooth. When moving day came around, their crew was right on time, and I was blown away by how efficiently they handled everything. It was clear they knew what they were doing, and they treated my belongings with real care - especially the fragile stuff. Throughout the process, they kept me updated, which really put my mind at ease. When it came to delivery, they didn't just drop things off; they made sure everything was where I wanted it. And their storage facilities? A lifesaver during the chaos of moving. I have used Great Job Moving on my last three moves, yes count 'em 3 and they have been excellent, polite, trustworthy, knowledgeable about how to pack, disassemble and assemble furniture with the utmost care. The move with Great Job Moving was very smooth, and the guys are very pleasant and hardworking. They were very prepared. They had the boxes and the extra material to pack stuff. It was my first big move. It was no stress. The guys were on time. They were very supportive. They were very proficient because they knew what they were doing. They were working as a team, and they never stopped even for some breaks. That was a very nice experience. I would like to recommend this company to someone who really needs professional people. Customer service reps were also very responsive.

This was our second move using Great Job Moving. Their customer service was great because I dealt with the same person at their office, Dustin, whom I had dealt with the first time. He immediately remembered who I was even though our move prior to this one was several months ago. We talked about the parameters of this move, which I thought might be more difficult. He was absolutely reassuring that they would have no problem with it. We discussed manpower issues. They suggested a job this size would just need two people. I said I'd rather have three just because I was having a king-size metal bed frame moved from one site to another, and I wanted to make sure. So we added a third person, and they were right. I didn't need to add a third person.

Great Job was really good. I looked at the reviews online, and also, I spoke to a customer service professional back then, and he was extremely accommodating with our schedule. We had a tight schedule to get the whole thing picked up and delivered in a certain amount of time. He was able to accommodate that, and that was the reason why I chose them first place. One thing I wanted to point out is I work with music around, especially when I do a hard stuff with heavy lifting, and the guys did the same on that day. The community that I lived in back then is extremely sensitive to sound. So, somebody called the cops on us for the two hours. By the time police came in, the truck left.

I was moving to another state and I was having issues with finding the right moving company. I had issues with another moving company that fell through at the last minute and Great Job Moving stepped in really fast. I wish it was cheaper but I understand why it's that price and they were able to help me out in that situation. The rep who helped me was very nice and easygoing and I was pretty impressed when the movers came and took care of everything. They were moving really fast and they were able to wrap everything up safely. I didn't feel like something was about to break during the move. They were able to deliver everything safely over to another state and as soon as I got the keys, they were able to come at night and drop it all off.

We had a very positive experience with Great Job Moving. There was one little hiccup that we had. When they moved our sofas into our new home, it got bumped into our wall and made a small hole in our new home. But, that was the only issue we had. Everything was done in a timely manner with responsible people. They're a customer-centric company and they care about their customers.

I tried to pick three other companies during the week and they all ghosted me last minute, so I called Great Job Moving on a Friday in a panic and said, "I need to move tomorrow." It was very easy to access the information they had available, and the rep asked about what kind of space I was moving out of and what I needed to have done. She was very friendly and easy to talk to, and the company sent me a quote online almost immediately. They shockingly offered me a fantastic price. I needed to be out of the house on Sunday, and I was scheduled within an hour of finding them. They were able to come out and they worked really hard. They asked if they could pack the kitchen as well. I had everything else ready, but they packed up the kitchen as well last minute.

I reached out to Great Job Moving and it was super easy. I went back and forth a couple of times mainly because my apartment required a bunch of verification of insurance and some other documentation about that and they were very helpful and responsive. We packed the stuff, then they moved them and we drove over together to the delivery location. It was as smooth as taking the stuff out, and it was very quick. My experience was great, especially for this area. I've had a couple of bad ones, and Great Job Moving is by far the best. They're on the more expensive side, but if people care about keeping their stuff protected and they want the moving done well, then they should definitely go with them.

The moving coordinator was good but he didn't tell the packers to bring boxes. I told them to bring five boxes and the packers came empty-handed. Also, they came late. He told me that they would come at 7:00, but they came at 11:00. And they went back for the boxes and came back. Then, at first, they told me that my stuff was too much, so they would charge me a little bit extra. But then they said that it could be done in three hours. They charged me only the minimum and then it was really smooth. The only problem was that there were two packers. One packer was sweating so much, so it was a big problem with me. But otherwise, they did a good job.

It wasn't my first move, but it definitely was a none-stress one. We have a large apartments with a lot of stuff. The team helped us with packing, unpacking and assembling all the furniture. The price was quite fair, service was friendly and very helpful. The move was really fast.

Great Job Moving and Storage was very good. They were very efficient, and only asked necessary questions. They got us packed up and ready to go quickly. The only issue was when it came time to try to get delivery, we were rescheduled several times. And we were not able to get in touch with the people who would get our order shipped back from the storage facility that we were using in between. It took a lot of calls and confirmations. When we were able to get somebody, we placed several calls once our stuff had been picked up and it was time to schedule delivery to our new home. That was the only downside of the situation. Great picking up. Very difficult trying to get a delivery date and have a delivery date window that was accurate.

Working with Great Job was fairly easy. We emailed and talked on the phone a couple of times. They moved us out of the house and put our stuff into a storage unit. The pick-up and delivery went fine. The cost is what I expected.

My experience with Great Job was thorough and compassionate. It was well-communicated and detailed. The cost also seems very fair and great. I was moving from one apartment to another, just a couple of blocks away. The team was fantastic in taking care of, wrapping and moving all of our furniture, big and small. It was the middle of summer and it was really hot. And they were great and working hard.

I had a fantastic experience with Great Job Moving. We were moving from Colonial Beach to Hartfield. The companies that covered that weren't a lot to choose from and we chose Great Job. They showed up and were very professional. The supervisor and the crew had really good communication skills with us. They handled everything with care. Their price was fantastic and beat everybody else's. These guys were courteous and conscientious movers. They were timely. We had to drive over an hour from different homes. They drove the truck and they drove as fast as our car. They never dragged their feet. These guys were working the entire time. If we ever move again, we will definitely use them.

I had a great experience with Great Job Moving. Their price was in the middle and they were willing to do door-to-door. The moving coordinator was great. He was friendly and he answered all my questions. The crew was also very nice. They were on time and they worked hard. Everything got delivered and nothing was broken. They took care of my stuff. The truck they picked was spot on. There wasn't too much space. It wasn't too big. It was the perfect size.

I moved twice and used Great Job Moving. I sold my condo and moved into a new condo, but I had to move my stuff out of my first condo into storage then from storage into the condo I'm in now. I like the serious wrapping of my furniture and my television and the way they cared for stuff and took stuff apart and put them together. Both times, it was fantastic. I had different people both times who were extremely professional. From a cost-standpoint, you get a quote, which is great 'cause you know what to expect. It's an estimate based off the time. The first time, it was right around the quote. The second time, it was less than what they quoted me as. It was very helpful. They were very accommodating. I changed my move-out date several times out of the storage unit. Every time I called, there was no problem getting somebody to set up and working with me and my schedule.

Dealing with the rep from Great Job Moving was good and the services were accurate. We had them clean out a storage unit as well as the condo as a special request. The movers were very professional and quick. There was maybe a glass broken but nothing of consequence.

Great Job Moving reps were courteous and polite, which is all you can ask for. The cost came to more than I thought it was gonna be, but we had stuff in our storage unit that I don't think was included. Moving is stressful and the rep was helpful.
