I would like to Start By saying At first I was extremely apprehensive Just because I heard some Negative things about moving companies, and was very nervous. From, The first Phone call when I spoke to My Moving Specialist I was made to feel Comfortable and She said she "Free Educated" at this Company. Not only did she Go over details and was extremely patient with me but she was Also Through and Through Detail Ordinated. (Meadow). Most Moving companies I talk to were Just giving me prices and Being pushy. (Meadow) made sure I was well informed. Secondly, I was provided with Multiple Point of contact numbers. Which I called A lot. They answered every time. Third, I got a bit scared the day before the move but was reassured everything was right on schedule and felt put at ease.
Fourth and last the day of the move, There were a Few hiccups as I added A couple pieces and they said they understood and it was not a hassle at all. I was accommodated quickly and very Humanly. The delivery was fast as I requested an exact date because I needed My stuff in A couple days Going over 2,000 Miles. I will be sending a Christmas Card to this Company as they went Above and Beyond to service my move for my family and I. Thank You Bronze Star!

I wanted to come write a review for my move FL to PA. I hired these guys to come out and load my storage unit in Florida. So because I was already in PA everything had deadlines and timeframes. I flew into Daytona beach airport and the driver even called to make sure my flight was one time. I met the driver at my storage unit and they pulled up 5 mins later. They wrapped all my furniture with blue blankets and takes up my boxed a little better for me. They finished everything in like 2 hours and they left. These guys work hard to make sure my stuff didn’t get scratched up. They packed the tuck so well.
It took them 4 days to get back up to PA. I was surprised at how fast they did make it. When they got to my house in PA they even reassemble my furniture for me. They brought my boxes and bins into the rooms they were labeled for. I wasn’t expecting them to do what they did. Especially because the furniture was already disassembled by me and my dad when we put it in storage from my house in FL but they knew I needed help especially putting Amazon bunk beds together for my kids' room. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you guys for such a good experience Moving!!
Movers arrived on time and expertly prepared the furniture for our move. They handled each piece with care and precision. They did not bump or bang anything and worked with careful but efficient speed. Everything went smoothly. Pricing was fair, estimate was accurate, and there were no surprises!
Thank you for your feedback an we are excited you had a great experience! We pride ourselves on providing high quality, reliable service. Thank you!
I did an estimate online and Bronze Star Moving & Storage Inc. gave me a phone call within a few hours and gave me a good price. So, I scheduled over the phone. It was easy. And they were good with communicating what the next steps in the process were. The crew came in, did their job, left. It was simple. When they picked up my stuff, they did a good job packing it up, making sure that everything was protected and would not be damaged. They wrapped with blankets, which was great. It was quick. I would recommend Bronze Star to anybody who needs a moving company.
They worked with me and understood my needs. The team took their time but worked efficiently to get the job done within the time frame. Wrapped my things for extra protection and loaded and unloaded with care. Very much worth it!
Hello, it was a pleasure working with you! Moving is a highly delicate and stressful process, and we greatly appreciate your feedback. Please tell your wife she was a delight to work with; the movers really appreciated her complimentary lunch. Until next time!
They got to the storage unit that I had my unit in, asked me how much poundage, and I told them, it was 9,500 pounds. When it got there, they said, "No. We do it in cubic feet." They found out it was 1,400 cubic feet and they had only allocated 1,200. They were going to charge me another $1,000 that morning or else they weren't going to move the stuff out of my storage unit. So I left stuff there to get it down to the original bid. I also didn't hear anything from the people that they have subcontracted it until two days before they were going to be there at the house. There was also damage. They took pictures but I still haven't heard anything from them. I've told my friends never to use Bronze.
Hello Mr. Miller,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with our services. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.Upon reviewing your case, we found that the driver who arrived at your storage unit accommodated the additional pieces you had without charging you any extra fees. We have thoroughly examined the provided paperwork, including the estimate and inventory update, and they clearly indicate that you were not charged for any additional items. In fact, you signed an inventory update form acknowledging that you would be responsible for any excess space beyond the allocated 1,275 cubic feet. I can provide you with the signed contract Estimate provided to you by Bronze Star as well for your convenience.
During your updated inventory you signed stating you were fully aware that if you did exceed the 1275 Cubic ft you would be required to pay for the additional space. Your driver decided to move the shipment with your added pieces. Everything stated here in your estimate and all provided paperwork provided shows you were never charged more. Please send me the bill of lading showing you were charged more because I have found no such thing whatsoever.
Regarding the issue with the initial confusion about poundage versus cubic feet, we apologize for any misunderstanding you may have had. Your estimate was always signed off for cubic ft in the top left-hand corner it says's "Price Per CF $4.00 per cubic ft. which may have occurred during the estimation process. While there was a discrepancy in the allocated space, our driver decided to move your shipment with the additional pieces at the same price as agreed upon in the estimate. We have not found any evidence in the bill of lading or other documentation indicating that you were charged an additional $1,000.
We understand your frustration regarding the lack of communication from the subcontracted team. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We kindly request you to provide us with the necessary details and pictures of the damage so that we can investigate the matter further and take appropriate actions to address your concerns. We value your feedback and are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. We still have your second move coming up when you select the dates.
If you may please send the Bill to me showing any increases in pricing.
Thank you for choosing our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
Thanks,Bronze Star Moving and Storage

Extra Stop / NotesI spoke with the CX regarding the cubic feet he reserved. The CX stated that he does not know the size of the storage unit where we are picking up, but he does know that 1275cf is the accurate amount of truck space needed for this move. The CX stated that the movers holding his belongings informed him that he would only need 1275cf of truck space. The client states that he does not need any more truck space.

I hired Bronze star thinking they would be the main company I would be working with for my move. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with them. I had a big move from IL to another state and all they did was quote my overall move and a virtual walkthrough for the whole process. I had put down almost a 2K deposit when in the end they didn't help me at all during my move.
They had to hire another company to move my items and I had to pay them the remaining amount. It would of been best to just hire one company within state and pay them the full amount, I could of saved myself some money and A LOT of stress. The 2 people I had previously spoke with did not return my messages or calls when I had more questions regarding the move, even though customer service did call me regarding my concerns. I thought it wasn't professional not returning my calls of emails from the main people that asked for my money. I wouldn't use them for another move.
Hello Sasha,
Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your move with Bronze Star. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion you experienced during the process. I would like to address your concerns and provide some information regarding our company policies.
Due to PCI (Payment Card Industry) and compliance regulations, once you book with the original sales representative, your file automatically locks to protect your sensitive information. This is done to ensure that your data is secure and not accessible to unauthorized individuals. While this may have limited direct communication with the main people who initially requested your payment, our customer service team is always available to address any questions or concerns you may have had. They have been responsive and provided assistance whenever needed. I apologize if there was any miscommunication or delay in response from the main team.
Regarding your payment, your chosen method of payment is listed on the estimate along with your pickup information and instructions on who to make the payment to. It is important to note that the majority of carriers in the industry require certified funds upon delivery to mitigate the risk of "Friendly Fraud," which has been on the rise in recent years.

Bronze Star Moving and Storage
On 3/11/2023 I was quoted a price of 3247.00 (by Ross) to move stuff from my 2 BR condo in Acton, MA to a storage facility in Englewood, FL. On 3/24/23, Frank called to go over specifics. He then quoted 5,767.00 which seemed reasonable as I had almost finished packing and had a more realistic idea of what I was moving. The movers showed up on 3/29/23. The crew chief took one look at my living room and immediately said I had way more stuff than he was told and I would have to pay more. He then videoed the other rooms and came back with a price of 7268.50. The extra was all in cash, of course.
Then a different truck with a different crew shows up in Englewood and demands another 800 dollars as my storage units were more than 50 feet from the door. Cash again. They claimed this would take them 2-3 hours more than if they could unload directly into the unit. It took them 90 minutes. On top of everything, my stuff was treated like trash. Boxes clearly labeled fragile were dumped upside down. At least one piece of furniture is broken. I emailed all of this to Bronze Star moving and Storage a week ago and have gotten no response.
Dear Katherine,
Thank you for your reply. I understand your concern and would be happy to review the original list of items to compare it with the updated one. It is true that there was an increase in the number of items, and you did sign and pay for the additional reservation to upgrade to a bigger truck. The original estimate of 82 pieces rose significantly to 147 items, which contributed to the adjustment in pricing.
We do allow clients to add boxes and extra small items, but in your case, the increase went beyond the original estimated space of 598 cubic feet to 915 cubic feet after your quality assurance call. Additionally, when the movers arrived, they discovered even more pieces, exceeding the second update provided by Frank. I want to emphasize that we can only provide binding pricing for the services ordered and the total number of items. By comparing both estimates, it becomes evident why there was an increase in cost.
At the time of loading, there was another increase, which further highlights the importance of notifying us about any changes. We encourage all our clients to inform us promptly about any additions during the loading process. If the additional items or services were not included or if nothing was added beyond what was already listed in your Bronze Star Estimate, you could have chosen to keep the original arrangement and pay the same rate.
I want to remind you that you signed a Bill of Lading prior to the arrival of the movers. This document detailed all additional service fees and prices for adding other items or services. After you added the items during the quality assurance call, we updated your estimate, adjusted the list and space, and sent the same copy to your driver, who also signed off on it. By law, your driver was required to revise the estimate again on the day of loading to accommodate the additional items.
I want to assure you that you were not forced to pay more, nor were you obligated to add those items. You had the option to retain the original arrangement and pay the same rate. As a moving company, we are bound by the guidelines of the US Department of Transportation. If you had contacted us when this issue first arose, we could have ensured that the charges were accurate, or you could have chosen to leave out the items that were not included in the updated estimates. By law, we cannot allow your driver to load non-listed items on the truck, as they must provide a description of all items being transported. These rules are set by the US Department of Transportation, and any revisions or edits to these regulations would need to be addressed through the appropriate channels.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We strive to provide transparent and accurate services to our customers. Please rest assured that any charges incurred had to be paid upon delivery. I will send you the rules and regulations below for your reference.
Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,Bronze Star Moving
Bill Of Lading Laws on fmcsahttps://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/sites/fmcsa.dot.gov/files/RightsandResponsibilitiesBooklet_2022Update.pdf
Bill of Lading
Your mover is required by law to prepare a bill of lading for your shipment. The bill of lading is thecontract between you and the mover for the transportation of your shipment. This document is issued
at prior to loading and or the pickup date. The information on the bill of lading is required to include all the
information and charges associated with the transportation of your shipment. The driver who loads your
shipment must give you a copy of the bill of lading before or at the time of loading your shipment. The
Bll of Lading is an important document. Do not lose or misplace your copy. Keep it available until your
shipment is delivered, all charges are paid, and all claims, if any, are settled.
The bill of lading requires the mover to provide the service you requested and requires you to pay the charges for the service. It is your responsibility to understand the bill of lading before you sign it. If you do not agree with something on the bill of lading, do not sign it until you are satisfied it is correct. The bill of lading serves to identify the mover and specifies when the transportation is to be performed. Be sure that the portions of the bill of lading that note the dates when pickup and delivery are to be performed are completed and that you agree with the dates on the bill of lading. It also specifies the terms and conditions for payment of the total charges and the maximum amount required to be paid at the time of delivery for shipments moving under a binding estimate. In the case of shipments moving under non-binding estimates, the bill of lading will not include a final calculation of charges because that cannot be determined until the shipment is weighed. However, the bill of lading must contain all relevant shipment information – except the shipment weight which will be determined after the shipment has been weighed, and any unforeseen charges that occur in transit or at the destination.

Based on our recent experience (Dec 2022 - Jan 2023) with this moving broker, our review is that you DO NOT USE them and that you take time to read all NEGATIVE reviews and you will see why. In my opinion, if you hire these people, you WILL be the next person writing a negative review. The haulers they sent were horrible! We paid a lot of money and we were not treated reasonably, fairly, or respectfully and they did not protect us (their client). Please research. Also use official site reviews such as Better Business Bureau, FMCSA and DOT, and again, read ALL the negative reviews - they are eye-opening.
They made this experience so positive. They showed up as they promised and worked continuously. They were so professional, courteous, and hardworking! I can't thank them enough for being so careful with all my furniture and making the day so less stressful. Excellent service!
