Just received my Casio Edifice Automatic Forged Carbon Watch, it looks great, feels great, and works great. As someone who loves Automatic Watches, I was very happy to see Casio make a mechanical watch for the first time. Hope there's more to come, because Casio always made watches that last.

In June of 2025 I bought Casio EF-106D-2AV which I thought would serve me well. 3 months later the winding pin just started to spin with no action for the watch hands. I contacted Casio and they directed me that based on where I live (CO) to Time Machine who handles their repairs for the western US. (By the way Time Machine has gone out of their way to help me but were stonewalled by Casio and I highly recommend Time Machine out of CA.) Mailed the non working watch to Time Machine and several weeks later I was contacted by them that my watch was not repairable and the model I sent in was no longer available to send a replacement to me. Graciously I was offered several options as a replacement. All the replacements showed a retail value of $120.00, more than I had paid and thought was very generous. Regrettably none of the watch heads fit my wrist.

I eventually found a watch from the same collection that is on sale for $127.50 with a watch face that fits my wrist and the additional criteria I needed. I let Casio know I would be happy to pay the additional $7.50 more for this replacement, but again stone walled. We are now in a stand off and was told that since I did not buy the original watch directly from Casio I could not get a cash refund. Well it appears that Casio does not care about their customer's satisfaction and I am left with a watch that I did not want, with a watch face that does not fit my wrist and no options left. So I say stay away from Casio and don't be caught with a company that doesn't care about their products nor their customers.

Casio F105W-1A. The upper left nub which attaches to the strap disintegrated and simply fell off, rendering the watch useless after only 13 months of light wear. This same problem happened to my last model of this watch, again after light wear. I will definitely NOT replace this one with another Casio.

Purchased my 3rd Waveceptor from Kohl's online in October 2023- having 100% confidence in these watches; lost my 1st (at 20+ years old) in gym; and current one works well at 15+ years old. Wanted to replace my gym watch. Was PROBLEMATIC from the beginning, having had it repaired twice (once by Casio; once locally) as would shut down, and after hours on recharging light went back to day one on it. Last time would not wake up, returned to Casio for replacement, which they would do AT $79.00 price! Sad commentary on CASIO given this action... Done with this brand given the crappy treatment from Casio with a 14 month old watch, having problems at 4 months old (should have known then).

Short version... After almost a decade of being a G-Shock customer I'm switching over to Garmin. The simple reason for this is that the cost of replacement parts have become outrageously expensive. Casio also no longer sells parts directly to the public. Instead you need to send your watch to a repair center to further get financially reamed post purchase. I considered purchasing the G-squad solar, but after considering the cost of parts, specifically the bands and bezel of which the cost cost of parts equates to roughly between 15 and 20% of the purchase price of the watch, I just had enough of being violated without the curtesy of lube. My first g-shock had a new bands and bezel replacement price tag of 40% on the purchase price of the watch. Seriously! I thought I bought in my opinion an exceptional piece of tech, not ridiculously expensive plastic.

It seems casio has embarked on a mission to make the acquisition of parts for either repair or customization so intensely unbearable that long time customers would rather fork out more money and part with watches that there is nothing wrong with than suffer the indignity of begging for parts for the expensive options or simply sell off the old crap and move on to competitors that will sell you parts for a fraction of the original cost with, what seems to be, an endless supply of parts and boundless array of options. Surely casio would be able to sell more watches if whomever is in charge of strategy didn't have head up own sphincter. Sure, Ferrari doesn't sell parts to backyard mechanics, but then again a casio isn't a Rolex...

I bought a Gshock from Casio. When the watch arrived I tried several times to see the numbers but could not because the numbers were a dark white on a all black watch. The light would only stay on for a second. I contacted customer service and they said they would refund me but I had to pay for the return. I informed them I should not have to pay for the return because they of the false advertisement. They do not stand behind their product. DO NOT BUY.

I e-mailed them and told them my story that my son bought the watch a couple years ago and downloaded the instructions, the app, and have the instructions, no matter what you do the time can not be set. Asked about cleaning, reply was soap and water. It feels like they just don't care.

I sent in my Casio Pro Trek WSD-F20BU Smart Watch in for Repairs. I registered it on their site. I received an extended warranty. I mailed it to their New Jersey repair center. They told me I would need the original receipt. Which I lost. That was my fault. Completely understandable. Anyways, I mailed it in the 25th of January. They received it the 27th. They did not even bother to look at my watch till February 28th. They gave me a estimate bill of $287. I paid them. They gladly took my money. I e-mailed them 3 times. I wanted to know when it would be fixed. No reply. Then on the 9th of March. They sent me a e-mail. Saying, "Your watch is being repaired. But the part to repair the watch is on back order from Japan." Unbelievable.

So now I'm assuming the pace and their work ethic. I will not see my watch repaired and mailed back to me till June maybe July. I don't recommend buying a smart watch from them. The Smart watch has a Malfunction. Which they know about. If you factory Reset your Smart Watch. It will never pair with another device ever again. They actually recommend you Factory resetting it for a solution. Do not ever do that. I have pics of their site saying to do this. They might take it down now. I used to to be a big fan of Casio. Now I give them three big Thumbs down. If you know what I mean. I'm never buying another Casio product ever again.

The Casio 5445 GST-S100G watch is a nightmare. I purchased it 12/19. Couldn't/set/it. Sent/in for/repair. Returned/but still unsettable. It is a $300 piece of enigma. Perhaps a MIT degree would help.

Updated on 10/10/2019: I bought two G-Shocks from this company about three months ago at the cost of more than a $1000.00, a few months later one stopped working and the other one I have not heard about since I gave that to someone as a present! So I called last week to see what what I have to with this piece of ** and after getting thrown to various phone numbers, I was told to send it to their repair service in Dover, NJ. 10 days later I had not heard from them even though the item was delivered to them Oct.4th, 2019. So today I called to find out what's happening and I ended up with a women who was in no mood to do anything and kept giving me stories about where the is and who I should call! I found their service personnel ill informed, uninterested and having a "take it or leave it" attitude. I asked to be connected to the person in charge, and was told they don't who it is. This is either a pathetically run company, or how they do things in JAPAN!

Original Review: I bought a G-Shock watch from this company about three months ago, and now it is not working, It looks like the battery is dead! It's pretty pathetic for this company to sell products with weak or dead batteries. Now they tell me to send the item to their repair shop at my expense and WAIT MORE THAN 10 to have it repaired! This is NOT sign of a reliable company or its products! Cannot recommend!
