I did not have a pleasant interaction with the 1st Lawyer I spoke to and I was ready to stop my service. But the Reps at LegalShield was very understanding and had another Lawyer speak to me who was very polite and met my needs in a very positive manner. They took care of my concerns expeditiously.

The information I was given was very point on. Information told me that I needed to wait to hire a lawyer until the other party made their decisions.... This put me at ease because I knew Legal Shield was concerned with my well being not just a paycheck.

I tried Legal Shield, wasn't for me. There really isn't a lot the firms they use can do, doesn't really matter what it is. A will, maybe, not sure. But if I had to bet, I'd say no, that probably couldn't be handled very well either. The firm they set me up with was Merritt, Webb, Wilson & Caruso, PLLC, which was absolutely worthless. These plans don't help much with anything that I've found. The ID Shield helped. It found a lot of my personal info on the dark web and other places where my ID was stolen. But if you're in any of the states where you will be assigned to Merritt, Webb, Wilson & Caruso, PLLC, then no. You would be better off just handling it yourself or hiring another attorney.

Kyle is very attentive and helpful. He is out of his way to help an elderly who was mistreated by the crooked Travel Agency and Philippine Airlines. We are still pursuing legal action against them. What they did was totally unethical and dishonest. Hope we will find out the result soon.

Attorney's letter lit a fire for the contractor to comply. Within 4 days after the letter went out, contractor took care of the problem.

Updated on 07/23/2026: Was reached out to by member resolution, the kicker is that they won’t help you if you have a cancellation request on file. In order to get assistance you have to agree to stay a member… Never ever be a member of LegalShield
Original Review: LegalShield partners with substandard law firms that don’t return calls, or answer concerns. I was a member 10 years ago and left for this same reason… I figured they can’t still be this horrible, and I was wrong. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to my ex wife and that’s saying something.
