This was my first experience looking to patent and idea and the folks at Invention Home were awesome. They answered all my questions and guided me through the process. They made the experience so easy and someone was there to answer any questions or concerns I had. I would highly suggest them to anyone looking to patent an idea.

I have never formally invented something new and had no idea how to meet a need I saw in the market that was not being fulfilled. After months of creating a solution to the problem, I felt it necessary to make it available to others who would have the same issue. Since I had no production background, I also had no idea where to start with trying to get the word out or market it. I found InventionHome to be the answer and am grateful for all of their help. They made it as simple as possible to submit the necessary paperwork to file the patent application and market my bedding set.

I wanted to believe this place was going to help me get to the next step. Unfortunately they didn’t. Very little communication after I donated my money. The lawyer they used told me he could’ve put anything on the form to get a patent pending status & that he needed more money to make it a permanent patent. I was told my patent pending product would be sent to hundreds of companies & would be presented to one of their biggest shows they represented. I didn’t see any of that. In fact I didn’t see my product get submitted to anyone in 2025. Wish things would’ve turned out differently. I feel like a sucker. I guess most people would when their product wasn’t a success but I’m upset at the actual treatment from InventionHome. Do your research before you spend your money. They didn’t market this as much as I thought they would.

It was an unbelievable performance by a bunch of professional people who take their jobs very seriously. They were there at every step to help in any way possible. I truly believe l couldn’t of got a better team from start to the present. They have been by my side every single step. Excellent work. Can’t wait for production. I’ve had a wonderful experience with Invention Home. From the very start with Shawn getting things rolling and then the amazing graphic design with Chris and then to top it off with Cindy **’s expertise in putting everything together, I only wish that I had come here sooner!

Invention Home has a careful and complete step by step road for navigating the patent process. Every step was clearly laid out and there was valuable, concise information as part of every step. The sales team associate who started me down the path carefully explained what to expect and after it was passed off to the next stage, every box was checked as he described. You need to pay attention, but you don't need to be an expert. Leave that to these guys.

I was on the verge of giving up on Invention Home, but now I believe something great is about to happen for Botail Neckwear.

I was very hesitant to purchase anything at first but after watching a short video online of the company I decided to start on my first purchase of the patent search. This is one of the best features of working with IH they offer different stages of the process, so you don't need all this money upfront which is great for the average person. I haven't ever done anything like this before. So I didn't have any idea of what to do. They were very informative and knew exactly how to go about the process. I am very pleased with everything that was done. I would recommend to anyone doing the same thing.

Once I decided to make a condensate cups, I figured I needed to get a patent. Like most people I went to the internet and searched for a way to do it myself. I saw this company and read about it and filled out the questionnaire and emailed it in for additional information. It was the next day I got a phone call; it was explained to me the steps and procedures, so I agreed to sign up. According to their web site they do what they say, and timelines are very close to what I was told. If I ever I had a question, I would get me answer next day or even same day. I surely would recommend this company to anyone whose thinking about making an invention come true. Now I am in the part where the invention is being marketed. SCAMMERS!! RUN!! They did absolutely nothing except a drawing. I am talking them to Court!!! They think because they have Attorneys working for them they can’t be sued. That’s false! They have been sued and I am suing them as well. What they fail to realize is God sees and hears everything so besides what they will be fined in court they will always receive karma as well! Shame on you for stealing people's hard earned money.

Invention Home is nothing more than a scheme to get thousands of unearned dollars from dreamers with ideas. They are inconsistent with monthly submissions, IF the companies they submit to are even real. Their info is very misleading. Thousands of dollars spent and NOTHING to show for it. NOTHING. SCAMMERS!!! You'll have a better chance doing footwork independently. They were ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Always double talking from one employee to the next.

SCAMM!! Take your product somewhere else. Every single star review is 100% correct. Spent thousands wasted. All the attorneys are in bed together taking your money. The only Phone Call you will get is Attorneys wanting more cash!! Never once did I get a call or email on any updates the entire year.

From start to finish I'd like to say it was nothing but empty promises then taking my money only to ignore my invention. Also telling me to be vague as possible in describing my invention which I now know why.... I feel they stole my I invention and done so on purpose.... I confronted them and they stopped responding. If you give these people your money or your invention info I promise you they will find a way to duplicate and let you down until you call them out then they just stop answering you after that.... They been at this for a very long time and know how to use the system to steal from blue collar people.... It's disgusting and they should be thrown in prison for life!

Be aware that companies like this are out there taking advantage of people. They do nothing as promise while working hard to hide the negative reviews and promote positive. They charged me thousands of dollars and completely missed PPA documentation. They then thread me with their attorneys that if I say something they would take it down. I'm not scared of these scammers! Just take your money and run!!

The team I worked with here at Invention Home is very informative and quick response with answers that I was asking.. Since this is not what I do every day stepping into the unknown and not knowing all of the proper steps on how to go about getting your foot in the door but these guys made me feel comfortable and helped out with anything I had questions on. The customer service was excellent, the product was well executed by their art department and knew actually where I was going with my product.. The marketing department has been excellent on responding and shining light on everything.. I look forward in working more with them as time goes on!! Excellent check mark for me in my book!!

This is a NOT the place to go to if you have an invention. Pleaseeee listen up, if your invention is an idea, be vary wary/leery of Invention Home. I was made very lofty promises to market my idea to top companies. Because, during the height of COVID pandemic my invention of vehicle praise hand sanitizer container... Would be marketed to stores and to pro-teams, leagues etc. Which never happened…. WHY???? But, every year their provisional patent law Firm is asking for additional payment??? WHY??? I was supposed to be covered by their Provisional Patent already! This has been an awful costly experience…

I should inform you that I have spent 5000 dollars for provisional process to get my idea in marketing place unfortunately, they did not found any companies for my production in Covid time and after one year someone stole my idea and they did not help even for my patent right. I should inform you that they have very bad lawyer for patenting application and don’t trust them. 100% you will lose your money. Finding an honest and correct patenting company that deserve your idea.

When I first contacted Invention Home I did not know what to expect. The first person I talked to explained very clearly what I was to expect. Since it was my first experience I had many questions. All question were answered and I was told what to expect. There were several levels of interaction with the company. At ever level the company employee made sure I understood what was going on and were very patient with me. They show me different models until I found the one that was right.

This is a place to go to if you have an invention. We would recommend them to anyone and they're awesome with their artwork and details and the writing we were very pleased with it too. So if you have an invention look no farther than Invention Home. You'll be pleased with what they do for you. Thank you.

I say that this company has the best team, and they are great on what they do to help inventors. I had researched other companies, my best choice is Invention Home, if I have other inventions, invention home will be my choice to help me get where I need to be. Thank you invention home. When working with InventionHome, the experience has been amazing. All the staff that I have worked with and talked to on the phone, have been very professional and extremely prompt!! They have wasted no time working on the project and have guided me through every step. I never have hesitated on calling them for any question that may arise. Would highly recommend this company!

If I could leave less stars I would. When I first signed up for InventionHome, I thought it would be a great partnership to move forward with to have a successful chance for my invention. Little did I know, or expect, for that matter - my experience was AWFUL. The team does not update you (you are just expected to check their submissions on your dashboard they provide). Literally no explanation of what or how they have been pitching your idea. Every month it's the same. I had to go as far as reaching out to the president of the company on LinkedIn to try and get someone to contact me. When they finally did reach out - they also were not able to accomplish anything....but at least they sent me an email saying that.

When I was communicating with Ron about submitting my product idea, I asked about confidentiality. To my surprise, his exact response was "Forgot it." When I questioned what he was referring to, he proceeded to state "It's been a month" since I first made contact with them, therefore I wasn't serious and he was closing my file. I would not trust a company with such sensitive data as a patent when they behave so unprofessional. They appear to be scammers. Please remember this behavior was in direct response to my question/concerns related to confidentiality.

Updated on 12/18/2020: So this is my update that I promised. It has been around year since starting the process with this company and since then there is a very long list of companies they have “submitted” or “suggested” to other companies, close to 200 supposedly. That is all I have seen. I haven’t heard one word from them since the patent pending was completed. I look on their website at least once a month hoping to see something different, or special, or even a note to me. Just to find that they have done almost the exact same thing every month with no exceptions and no word that there has even been a bite. The lawyer who did my patent told me I should’ve went elsewhere, and I just wish I would’ve gotten his advice way earlier. My patent will expire next month and all I got from this company will have been nothing but a temporary patent that I could’ve paid $800 dollars for, but instead somehow paid Invention Home $4200.

If your invention is an idea, be vary wary of Invention Home. Michael ** made very lofty promises to market my idea to top companies. Michael assured me my idea was novel and original and so powerful that he was certain Invention Home would easily market it to one of their many big time business partners. He even asked me if I knew of a company called U.L.? After spending over $4000.00 for patent search, portfolio development and provisional patent, my problems started with them. Cindy, my marketing rep was short and snappy and rude every time I called to inquire about my product. Michael refused to respond to my many calls and emails and texts (by the way some of the communication mysteriously disappeared from my devices). I eventually discovered that my idea was neatly packaged and paraded by a very renowned world company - U.L. All this whilst I was supposed to be covered by their Provisional Patent.

I started with InventionHome for their assistance with doing a background search to see if my product was out there. Everything checked out good. There wasn't anything out there like this product. The next step was putting my idea in an animation format. Then a Patent Attorney contacted me where I filed my Provisional Patent in October 2016. Well the Summer of 2017 I saw my product all over the TV making millions of dollars. I contacted InventionHome and informed them of my concerns. The Manager of Marketing talked to me for 2 hours on the phone stating that I can still make my product because it was different from the one on the Market. She even gave an example how there was different Washing Machines on the market and how each one does something different. I asked My Patent Attorney and he said that I can still make my product. Needless to say that I did receive my Non-Provisional Patent (Utility) in January 2019.

We went to InventionHome to help us on licensing our product. After being there for maybe eight months I find it hard to believe that they never even had one feedback from any of the feelers they put out and they refuse to tell you what companies they reached out to. So yes they made a nice info sheet about our product, I feel that was all they did and I certainly don’t think anyone ever saw it. I asked to change some stuff to make page more appealing and was told no not possible, it wouldn’t make a difference. So I feel it was just a waste of time, dreams and money using them. Would’ve been better off going to a casino and betting on red or black.

A little over a year ago I contacted InventionHome about an idea I had with a detailed description and artwork I had created. They paired me with a patent attorney and had him run a patent inquiry for any and all existing patents that may conflict with my invention. I was contacted when it was complete and informed over the phone that there were a couple of patents that were kind of like mine, but that there was nothing similar enough to conflict with my patent. I was ecstatic and wanted to get the ball rolling, so they sold me on their premium package that they offer. It was a total of $4,000 plus $200 for the patent search.

InventionHome is just like all the rest, they take your money, display your product on their website but most of all give you false hope. Every new inventor has aspirations and dreams about their invention and get caught up in this political game. The only good thing that I received through this company is the recommendation or referral for writing my patent for submission in which I did receive back in 2012. I would highly recommend the consultants that wrote mine.

So far, my experience with InventionHome has been an experience of hurry up and wait. This is not a bad thing as bringing these ideas to consumers under a formula of success takes time. The Good: My account manager, Amy, and art director, James have been very responsive to my needs and desires as a client. The communication and willingness to come to an understanding is very high.

If the company helps me sell the product without me having to pay for the patent then everything you guys said would do would be kept. I would like to sell the rights straight out that's why I don't want to pay for the patent.

I found InventionHome in 2016 and after paying for some amateur drawings and given access to their "portal" I've gotten nothing besides a referral to a law firm who would handle my patent. Fast forward to 2019- InventionHome is still "actively marketing" my product. I understand some will read this and say I'm bitter because I spent money and got nothing but some useless drawings. That's a fair point, however I would counter with the fact that the law firm that THEY referred me to is no longer accepting referrals from InventionHome based on dishonest business practices. While there are laws on the books to prevent this type of shady business practices "Jacob Enterprises" (Parent company) will close up shop and open under a different name to avoid prosecution.

InventionHome is really good and I love them. I went online and I found them. I got all their services except for the portfolio. I did it myself, but I’m finishing it by Friday to send in the 5 images of the portfolio. I’m not very far into it right now, but I’m almost at the tail end of working with them and they’re just waiting for me. My brother-in-law is the designer and I’m the inventor. Everything’s been great so far and I was only worried because of scams. But they seem like a reputable business in the way their people handle their sales. Adam and Cindy helped me a lot so far. They are really nice with me and polite. Hopefully, everything is going as planned is what I would hope. Also, I’m not that far into it to send anybody their way yet because I’m still cautious myself, but I feel comfortable. I don’t have nothing to lose right now but my invention and our family history of what we wanna get somewhere with it. Still, I have no issues right now.

I just noticed InventionHome this year when I came across this company on Yahoo. Their representatives were able to answer my questions. I used their inventor services on patent searching and patent applications. So far, my overall experience with the service has been great. They’re a great group of people to work with.

My interactions with InventionHome have pretty much been all internet, though I did talk to one fella named Adam on the phone and he was helpful and answered any questions I had. They were pretty upfront with the cost but it could be cheaper for the service that I'm getting. Still, it's been a good overall experience so far.

InventionHome had a couple of so-so reviews, but in general, it was pretty good. I already filled out a form online and all the help was good with Kristen and the fellow I first interacted with. They follow up good. I use them for patent searching and they’re gonna go out and promote it once I get my patent. Their service has been excellent. They’ll call back if I fax something. If I emailed it, I got mailed maybe half hour later saying it was received and “thank you for your response” and all. It’s fast response. I get different addresses when they email me. But it doesn’t matter where they are, they had done good.

InventionHome people have been good. They shot my 3D video and did my portfolio. They were enthusiastic about my product and I got good feedback. They all thought it was a good idea and that's why they got on board. But the problem I have now is the waiting. I paid for the patent search and everything was good. We did everything we had to do. But I don't officially have the patent when I thought I will get it right away. They told me that it's still pending. I wanna get it going. It's my first time and I'm anxious to see how this thing is gonna turn out. It is my idea and I own it. I don't want anybody else to get in on it, but it is not official yet. We're in an on-hold mode right now and I don't understand what the holdup is.

I have heard about InventionHome seven years ago, and then I started to see the commercials. I never really took them up an offer, but then as I started to read up more and I did my research, I decided to look into the company. I took their whole package of services and had great interactions with the people at InventionHome, starting with Ernie. I like working with him. And then I have Kristen and Alicia. All of them have been very helpful. They’ve been timely in the request and responding to any questions that I’ve had. They’ve also been open, prompt and thorough. We're still in process, but I had some good experience so far. I was traveling back from a vacation and I ran into a young man in the airport. He was talking about an invention he was working on. I recommended InventionHome to him, and I told him to ask for Ernie.

I've had an excellent experience with InventionHome's service so far. I’m looking for a PPA, and I have no idea what I’m doing. But the people at InventionHome has been so helpful and I’m excited about it. I've had very good interaction with their rep. She is very easy to access and get to. I'm waiting for a call from her right now. I have some questions for her. The reps have always called me right back, and have always been very prompt at everything. Everybody at InventionHome has been kind.

My experience with Invention Home was pretty amazing. I was going through the internet and I saw them. I had some ideas in my mind and called them. Their reps walked me through their process and explained stuff to me. It was very amazing. This is my first time inventing something through them and they helped me through a lot. They are a good company to get into an agreement with. I did two inventions with them. And I’m so happy and excited. Now, they are just waiting for a manufacturer to accept one of my inventions.

My experience with InventionHome has been good. I've used their patenting service and the process for that costs money, but they let me know that upfront. I wouldn't recommend InventionHome unless people have the money to do it. But other than that, I've had great phone interactions with their representatives and they were able to answer the questions I had.

The rep at InventionHome was a very pleasant gentleman to talk with. He walked me through the various levels, and cost structure associated with their service, which is always important. It was right up front. He gave me some pointers and called me back within a week. He told me that in the initial search, he didn't see anything that was similar. Overall, our interactions have been very good. I entered into knowing that I've gotta reach out to somebody else that can guide me through this process, and the people at InventionHome were successful in doing that. I will recommend other people to InventionHome and tell them to sign in on disclosure, and InventionHome is gonna move forward with their idea. Not everything is successful, but at the same time, at least those people would hear that on the front end.

Ernie brought me in, speaking highly of everyone inside InventionHome. Once the patent search returned with positive results, we moved forward. I was never pressured to move ahead faster than I was comfortable. My project was given to Kristin who continually stayed in communication with me, especially answering my questions. I am very pleased with the Marketing Portfolio; great job to all involved. Marcella took her time to ask me questions and answer them as well. The patent attorneys also did a great job. Each department has acted like fulfilling their end of my project proficiently and professionally is important to them. And, that's where I am at this point. InventionHome is marketing my invention. Hopefully we'll receive some interests for licensing. I'm not sure. I do know that they are not rushing to do a half-ass job of it or anything. I expect only great things. And, I can only say good things about my experience dealing with them.

I had an idea that I wanted to bring out to the market and we filed a temporary patent for this. All was well until I found it back in the store in January and call straight away InventionHome with questions. They promised me that there were no competitors for this product, paid of course all the costs and now they are saying they can't help me anymore. Apparently there are competitors. Be careful 'cause peoples are not doing their work like it should be done!!! And now nobody can help me anymore since I asked for a completed refund of my money to them.

Great support from the initial discussion with the InventionHome team right through to the delivery of my Portfolio. Only a few minor edits needed and we were up & running. Great service, support and final portfolio delivery. Fingers crossed the idea takes off and I can work on developing more with the InventionHome team.

After years and years of trying various ways to find a company to get my invention out there, I finally feel hopeful that it's in the right hands. A very helpful team for anyone. They really prove the tagline they follow - "Simplifying Inventing". Though some sites or teams are hard to trust but InventionHome have proved to be very useful for our business idea. Though a little complicated at the beginning, but once you learn more they'll take you to the next level with their end-to-end solutions. It's highly recommended and was one of the wisest decisions made.

I have had a great experience. In The beginning of it all everyone seems so productive helpful on showing me there is a high potential with my invention. Now it seems like the marketing stage is not that informational towards "showing" what they're doing to market my invention to manufacturers. I feel like it's all fake now. Think about asking for a refund soon if I see no activity or progress asap.

Fine job again. Great artwork and Caty always gets right back to me with explanations. I do wonder, upon seeing some of the other related inventions, if my legal verbiage is technical enough. I guess that's my only complaint. I like being able to change things and have the final say. They provide very little continued support and service once the customer has paid their fee to InventionHome. They don't seem to care about the success of their customer's invention. InventionHome seems to just want to profit off their clients.

When starting out I had some doubt in trusting a to me unknown company to handle my plans. However the support and follow-up on all the steps has been on time, as promised and with accurate precision. Now waiting for positive developments with regards to my invention. I had an terrible experience. I was told that I would get a rep to touch base with me. What I found out that the last phase the marketing phase InventionHome simply disappears from view. I asked for names of manufacturers, contact people I got nothing no help. I paid $3,000 for a piece of paper that says I have a utility patent. I got some pictures nothing else of value that I can use to realty license and sell my product. I received no help, no guidance. I’m frustrated and angry I was ripped off. Don’t let it happen to you!

Here's the thing, they do exactly what they say they will do... Think about that. Nothing is for sure. I had an idea, I had no experience with what I was doing, I paid almost $3000. That I absolutely could not afford and absolutely nothing happened. I was told my idea was patentable and found out that that was inaccurate. I got a provisional patent. I was told it was legal to patent something that is already on the market if it has a completely different use. Come to find out that is infringement but yes I paid for a portfolio and they put one together for me and though I thought it wasn't quality I still approved it.

One year ago I signed up with Invention Home. I paid $700. I have gotten maybe two phone calls from them. They of course did not promise any. But you are so excited about your idea that you just think you are going to hear from one of the 70 manufacturers they claim that they sent your information to about your idea. Well, don't expect to hear anything. At this point, my contract is about to expire and they claim that one manufacturer was interested. But they never let you see any information that was sent nor any responses. So you have no verification that any followup was made or if anything other than the deposit of your money was done. If I could do over I would not use them. It seems to me that they just take your money. No real relationship building. Not sure if anything was done to promote my idea. JUST NOT SURE. JUST KNOW I AM OUT OF $700.

First, I am very thankful for the outstanding support and experience acquired in working with InventionHome staff. At the onset of initial consultations with the Product Development Manager, he made me feel very comfortable as I felt my invention was one that might be considered controversial, and not be immediately marketable in mainstream society; but he explained that their processes could conduct protocols that could package the invention, and it would subsequently go to market. He explained all process details and provided me with different financial packet options that would meet my needs to fulfill my request. Additionally, he made himself accessible for additional consultations, but explained that another resource, a Customer Account Manager [CAM], would manage my processes throughout the site's completion for my InventionHome Portfolio.

No communication from them once you are signed up... The art department did a very good job though... I still think the way they go about the inventions are not good. The login for the account is a pain... and does not work most times. I ask about shark tank and they said it was commercial and that is not the truth. I have 3 months to go and it could change. Try it on your own is much better than this I believe.

I'm impressed with the attention one gets. One to one when the topic is specifically on your invention and questions are answered promptly, never a delay or a wait. Like I said, one to one attention. Clear answers to your questions, I'm new at this so this was important. Explanations of the process are reviewed and made clear. Good attention to details so the final work will be ready for review by interested companies, I like that. It's been a good experience.

Absolutely seamless; it is rare but in a short period of time they have shown reliability and are professional in all they do. Trust is not easy to find in a company but in a short period of time I TRUST InventionHome to deliver what they offer.

The workers do not work for the client, and when the client works for the workers, they do not cooperate. A worker submitted work I did not approve, and it was used despite my efforts. Then the workers, previously one until he spoke with his manager who did not speak with me (I waited 3-4 weeks for them to show me the work I thought they were starting over with), "dealt" with by continuing the process rather than starting over. I didn't work with all 3 workers. All 3 workers worked against me.

Their sales agent answered my questions in numerous calls in a polite and satisfactory answers. He told me upfront every expense I should expect, deadlines were met, no hidden fees or wrongful advice, and the job was "well" done. You can trust them!

It got a little confusing as to whom I was dealing with at the time. It seemed each step had a different point person. It would have been nice to have just have one lead person to exchange any information with. Other than that, no complaints.

InventionHome by now assisted me with high diligence and cooperation from their staff. When they made my portfolio of my invention, they considered carefully all my suggestions in the text, along with my photos and the video clip, until I was fully satisfied. Then, eight months since working with them I've been announced about of an interested party and since InventionHome continued to purse it tactfully and in highly cooperative manner, despite of the inconsistency of this party in following its interest in my product. Even if by now I didn't achieve success, I am sure that IH has its constant focus in this direction.

Not only was her response time for emails immediate, but she helped us take note of concerns in our contract with a manufacturer...who we now have a leasing agreement with!!! My experience has been good. The staff has been very nice to me and they had got the ball rolling in a timely fashion. The only thing I can say bad is that a few times I felt I was in the dark. I felt as if I had to always call and ask questions on what was next or what certain things meant. As the process went along the staff would contact me for what they needed next from me without much explanation of what to expect, unless I asked them. Having spent almost $2000 I wish I would of felt like they were pushing for my idea to get out there, not just my money.

I used everything that they offer as far as the graphics and how to put together the wordings and the patent. All I have to do right now is finalize the patent. I've been in contact with about four different people from InventionHome and so far, I've had real good communication with all of them. I get good returns on all my emails and fast turnarounds on calls. I've been very impressed. I basically took advantage of all their services except the animation. Everything has been really good. At this end, however, I'm on the blind to what's going on because I am now in the marketing stage where InventionHome deal with their vendors and where people have their memberships through them. I get an update month-by-month.

The reps at InventionHome have been very good to me. They were helpful, answered every question I had, and were very professional in helping me with my invention. We're on the last stage of the process where they market the invention. I love it.

I wish I would have contacted InventionHome several years ago instead of trying to go it alone. I ended up wasting years off of the life of my patent by getting into a bad partnership with a con artist "manufacturing and sales rep" who was ripping me off on the tooling and other costs. Luckily, I found InventionHome and they quickly found an interested company who ended up licensing my invention! Now I feel confident that my invention is in the right hands to give it a fair shot in the marketplace. Thankfully, InventionHome has regularly scheduled calls with my licensee so I don't have to worry as much about them doing what we agreed to in the contract. I would highly recommend giving InventionHome a try if you're trying to license your invention or are just plain stuck and need a way out to salvage what years you have left on your patent before it's too late!

InventionHome is the only company I can recommend for inventors launching their products and/or patents. They are extremely professional, and very helpful throughout every step in the process. This company is worthless and quite frankly, a scam. They told me when I first signed up that my invention would be viewed via their site by many companies. You make a video and they will post it with a sound-over. However, what they don't tell you is that unless you have a FULL patent, not a patent-pending, nobody on the outside can see it, only those who are "enrolled" with their company. I have no idea who these so-called enrolled companies are because they would never tell me who they are soliciting my idea to. Over a course of a year, I got ZERO feedback from them. You can view your account online and they will post dates that your video was supposedly sent to companies but there is no proof that it was ever sent, there is no proof that anyone ever saw your video.

I had read a couple of good reviews about this company from a couple of inventors. I had already been burned by an invention marketer and was extremely wary of this company. I was patent pending, had artwork and a sell sheet. I produced a video of my product on my own to place on the website they built for me. One of the things that bugged me was I have endorsements from prominent people in my industry who gave me good and usable quotes about my product. They told me not to put them on the site and to wait for inquiries from companies about the product. I thought the endorsements should have been on the site.

So I responded to an ad for this company that goes by the name of Invention Home. I began getting emails and phone calls. During my most recent phone conversation, I gave the representative all of the details for my idea. I kind of got the impression during the conversation that the person was being rude and crass to me and at first I shrugged it off. Towards the end of the conversation the representative actually got rude and stated "are you done yet"? The whole conversation was a spiel about money and how much it was going to cost me to use their services. When I asked the person to email the info to me he actually said "I JUST GAVE IT TO YOU!" I ended the conversation by telling the person that I was not interested because of his attitude and way that he spoke to me. My problem now is that they can now steal my idea since I pretty much gave it to them for free.

Before you decide to work with InventionHome, consider this: recently I was contacted by a salesman from InventionHome, name Dave **. I never knew the company existed, like I said, he contacted me about a product that I have. He said that he was referred to me by another company and he asked if he might be of assistance with helping me with my invention. I sent him the same information I had sent the referring company and, after some minor back and forth emails, we decided that my approach would be to seek a licensing/royalties agreement.

My experience with InventionHome has been wonderful. First, they saved me $2,500 on my invention designs. Before contacting them I had a quote from another company that was over $4,500 just for 3D design work. They were able to give me higher quality designs for the cost of the other company and they also set me up with a web page for my invention at no extra cost.

ANGRY AND BURNED!!! InventionHome totally misrepresents their marketing and patenting services. I paid $1,797.00 to this company for patenting and marketing, and only got a portfolio and the silent treatment after getting my money.

I wanted to speak with an attorney in person that was going to handle my patent search and was told that wouldn't be possible that they would liaison for me. I told him that I didn't trust that and I wasn't convinced that they were going to work in my best interest. I was then told it wasn't their job to convince me. At that point I just hung up.

I submitted an invention to Invention home, they keeping mentioning about a 1 year plan from date of filing. On August 2013 my 1yr plan expired. About May 2013 an attorney Mr. David **, affiliated with invention home contacted me about another plan after the 1 yr expires for $4000+ which was news to me. They never made mention that after 1yr I could lose my invention. ** said in our conversation that 60% of inventions are abandoned after 1 year and companies wait to get inventions for nothing, which of course Invention Home denies. Since August deadline has passed there is nothing I can do after spending almost $2000. Upon looking at other sites and complains this is the norm, inventors are NOT informed about what happens after 1 year of filing. Most inventors now face a $4000+ cost and in most cases have to abandon their ideas. Companies like Invention Home give 1 year contract without informing its clients about the cost in case the invention is not marketed.
