    If I could give it -100 stars I would. This company is unethical and is just purely evil. They manipulate you, especially Paige **. Avoid at all costs. They don't care about you and just want money to power. I'm thankful I left asap and returned back to my insurance.

    I’ve been with Liberty Mutual for YEARS for both of my cars and my house and renters over the years and they have gone DOWNHILL fast. No support for their loyal clients and close to impossible to get an actual human on the phone these days. Did not help me when I had a windshield replacement done under their policy that was totally mishandled. They left gaps in the windshield so it rains into the car, it rattles, they damaged other parts of the car while installing and they told me I have to pay out of pocket to have it fixed or go back to the guy who did the bad job and have him “fix” it even though he’s had my car for 6 months for a repair that should have been one week and he is not capable of doing this job correctly!

    Prior to that, merged into a lane at the same time as someone else and did not advocate for me and said “they had no skin in the game to fight for me” so I had to pay out of pocket for those repairs too. Now I have to pay over $500 for a new windshield because they won’t have my back. I’m DONE. I cancelled all policies and moved to a different company. What is the point of having insurance that won’t cover a job that is so badly done that it will RAIN INSIDE YOUR CAR???

    Horrible company, they lie to protect their corporate clients like UPS. Stay away and PRAY you never get into an accident with someone who has them. The claims person I spoke with literally admitted what they were saying made no sense.

    I do NOT recommend Liberty Mutual Insurance. Their customer service is the worst. I called for an auto ins quote as my current policy is up for renewal. Not only was their quote $230 more PER month than my renewal (no accidents, no tickets no other drivers, I'm over 40), but when I asked why, they said "If you don't like it, go somewhere else."

    In 60 yrs of life I think this is the worst customer service, 1 step above Comcast. I was hit by a driver who has Liberty and I have had to spend over 10 hours so far trying to get my car fixed. I’m assigned to a claims person that just lies to me saying she’s going to do something and does not. She is so inept at her job that her voicemail says she’s out of the office until Tuesday for the Holiday weekend, Well today it's 4 days later and even that’s too difficult for her. When you can the system there is no way to get to a live person. The only way I could do that was to say I wanted to get a policy with them. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    @LibertyMutual it’s been over a month I filed a claim. Can’t get a call back on status. Adam promised a call back then treated me like I stole my own items asking for bank statement, how much I spent in the house. If my house was in a ** neighborhood I wouldn’t be treated this way. I have provided statements, receipts, pictures LibertyMutual Can Anyone please help me? I have provided police report copy of receipts of items from theft. Now they want bank & credit card statements. I am at a loss. It’s been over a month since I filed this claim. Never filed a claim before & I’m being treated like the criminal.

    This is the worst insurance company. Avoid them, even if they're the cheapest. I used to pay my premium every six months and forget about it. One day I got a letter from the DMV saying I was uninsured and had to pay a fine. Surprisingly, they canceled my policy a month ago due to a computer error, and the notice they send ended up in my junk mail. After a call they said a supervisor could reinstate, but no one called to reinstate my policy. I demanded a refund and an explanation, but only received the refund. Now, I'm paying a higher premium elsewhere. Stay away from them.

    As a small business owner, I am extremely disappointed with Liberty Mutual’s approach to auditing and billing practices. Despite our diligent efforts to maintain accurate records, we were hit with unexpected charges following an audit. The process was not only opaque but also felt intimidating, with constant pressure to accept their findings without question. Their lack of transparency and poor communication has made us question their commitment to supporting small businesses. Instead of partnering with us, it felt like they were more focused on extracting additional fees.     After a head on collision, where I barely escaped a certain death, Liberty Mutual decided in August 2023: We are accepting 20% liability as our insured driver had the last opportunity to avoid the impact and failed to take evasive action. Four months later, in January, 2024, Liberty re-decided: You were found to be 100% at fault. And they refuse, or cannot, explain why. Was it because their insured driver took evasive action after not taking it? Or is it because their driver took the opportunity to avoid the impact, after not doing so at the time of impact? Is this how a respectful company operates? Does it deserve any respect and your money?

    Worst service ever. Claims rep literally just hang up on me. Refusing to give supervisor phone number. Car was stolen and recover on April 12 2024. Adjuster drop the ball. Never retrieve the vehicle. Now the tow pound suing me for the charges!!! And Liberty Mutual just ignores it!!!!

    I was in an accident where we collided on the front left side. The impact caused my tire to turn inwards, bumper damage, and cracked my windshield. They denied the claim to fix the windshield, stating that it was impossible for a break like that to occur unless there was damage to the hood of the vehicle. The adjuster, Anthony, stated that it happened on a different occasion and that I was lying about how my windshield cracked. He was very rude and demeaning! They also do not pay auto shops at their hourly rate which causes the customers to cover the difference. They made an already stressful situation worse. I do not recommend this company. Please do your research. They may be affordable but you get what you pay for.

    My car was stolen from the auto body shop Liberty Mutual recommended. Hit a deer 2 weeks after purchase. Purchase for 19500 libertymutual offered 17,500 I put $1000 cash down. The auto repair shop left the keys in the vehicle and had no surveillance. Now libertymutual wants to short me on something I spent a lot of time looking for. A vehicle I specifically wanted. So now I lose $1000 and the loan isn't fully paid. Why do I pay them for full coverage.. It wasn't stolen from me or by my negligence. The auto repair shop was their recommendation.

    Company is absolute trash. Their insurance options are about the same as any company, and at first, their premiums seemed decent. After the first two years, they increased premiums by 40% (with no accidents, no policy issues whatsoever, no tickets) and auto renewed the policy. When I found out, I spoke to someone and they couldn't find a way to lower coverage, so I cancelled and went with Progressive, for better coverage that was about $100 cheaper per month. A month later, they claim I didn't cancel, and their supervisors on the phone pretend that I agreed to something I didn't. When I told them to listen to the call, she said she would have to escalate it but it wouldn't prove that I wouldn't have to pay unless I proved I had insurance with another company. She basically called me a liar, saying I didn't have insurance, and threatened me with going to collections.

    I emailed a long letter with proof of insurance on the same day I called. They haven't resolved the situation yet but this company is absolutely garbage. Just listen to customers, address their concerns, follow through with what you say you will do, and help customers the best that you can. Stop increasing prices for customers thinking we won't notice or care. You cannot justify increasing a car insurance premium by 40%, increasing total cost for over $1200, when the person had no changes to policy, no tickets, no claims or accidents. Geico, AllState, State Farm, and Progressive are superior in every way. Avoid this company, they are not worth the hassle and will absolutely take advantage of any situation they can.

    I had the worst experience, all misleading information. It is one of those companies just to steal money from people. I called them and I cancelled the policy, I still got bills and so much issues, they create problem for people instead of solving it. Stay away from them.

    I encountered significant difficulties with my home policy's modification process due to the website's poor design and lack of clarity on how to cancel or remove the policy. The "complete" button at the bottom of the page only added to my confusion. When I called for assistance, I was transferred to several agents, and the last agent left me on hold for 46 minutes before abandoning the call. This experience was entirely unacceptable.

    Fortunately, I called again this morning April 3, 2024, and spoke with Amanda, who provided outstanding customer service. In under 20 minutes, she resolved my issue, reassured me that my payment would revert, and sent the document to my email. Amanda's professionalism and dedication to her job are commendable. I am grateful for Amanda's assistance; her efforts are highly appreciated. However, the initial interaction was disappointing, and I hope the company will take appropriate measures to improve its customer service.

    After 40 years with Liberty Mutual I find I was unable to get through to customer service for two days. When I finally reached a person they wanted to sell me insurance from another company. I tried multiple time to reach someone at Liberty Mutual with NO help. Cancelling all of my policies and moving to a local guy now.

    I was the victim of a fender bender in a parking lot. I had a car in mint condition! The person who hit my car has Liberty Mutual Insurance. Although the damage to my car was paid, when I go to sell my car, it will show my car was in an accident and I will lose money. This has happened to me before, so I asked for a diminished value claim for some reimbursement. They denied the claim and the agent was rude.

    Liberty Mutual does not take responsibility when their employees provide incorrect information. I contacted them to inquire about any fees associated with canceling my policy and was advised that there were none, and that I was paid up to date. However, after my policy was canceled, I was charged over $300 because the employee provided incorrect information. Had I known the stipulations, I would have waited until the end of the policy term to make any changes. I reached out again to have the fee waived, as my decision would have been different had I been given the correct information, but the company does not want to take responsibility for the misinformation provided. It is also very disappointing that the communications from the supervisor handling the issue were delivered with an attitude and without the use of spell check, which is very unprofessional.

    All in all just a bad experience. No communication whatsoever which is funny when you spend so much time giving them every detail of your life, and 37 different ways to reach you. This company doesn't care about you, and I just don't want you to make the same mistake I did. Find someone else.

    I decided to cancel with them because I had been with them 6 years and they raised my rates every year and were way overcharging me. I canceled before the next bill cycle was due and they decided to send me a bill for 700 dollars and couldn’t tell me what it was for. When I refused to pay it they turned me over to a collection agency to ruin my credit. I had to pay it and they never did explain what the amount was for.

    Toward the end of 2023 I quoted a policy with Liberty Mutual Insurance for my car. I downloaded their apps and registered an account. I NEVER signed anything, literally just the above. A rep told me I would not pay until I signed off. First rep talked my ear off (30 min.) about the details of her personal life, neighbors church, how she's benefited from the insurance. Liberty bound me to an insurance policy and charged my payment for the first installment, without my signing. After 25 minutes of navigating their phone system, I talked with someone who sounded like they were in their house or somewhere outside the.

    I feel compelled to share my recent experience with Liberty Mutual Insurance in the hopes that it may help other consumers make informed decisions when choosing an insurance company. My interaction with Liberty Mutual has been nothing short of disappointing, particularly when I needed support the most. When my catalytic converter was stolen, I took the necessary steps by filing a claim with Liberty Mutual immediately. My trust in them as my insurance provider led me to believe that they would support me during this difficult time.

    To my dismay, the response from Liberty Mutual was far from what I expected. After spending over $4,000 on the necessary repairs to my vehicle, they sent me a check for a mere $300. This falls significantly short of covering the costs I incurred. As a policyholder, I believe it's reasonable to expect adequate coverage, especially when the incident was beyond my control. It's clear that Liberty Mutual possesses the resources to assist consumers who find themselves in situations like mine. However, they failed to provide the support that I, as their customer, deserved. This lack of support in a time of need is simply unacceptable.

    Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Liberty Mutual as an insurance provider. The essence of insurance is to provide peace of mind and financial protection in the face of unexpected events. Liberty Mutual, in my case, failed to uphold this principle. I urge anyone considering insurance options to think twice before doing business with Liberty Mutual.

    In my journey towards finding a reliable insurance provider, I have learned that there are companies out there who genuinely care for their policyholders and fulfill their promises. Liberty Mutual, in my view, is not one of those companies. Please, take my experience as a cautionary tale and explore other insurance options that may be better suited to your needs and expectations. Your peace of mind and financial security should always be a top priority when choosing an insurance provider. I most recently received my renewal information and noticed an increase of $1,121. THIS IS INSANE AND THEY SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR...

    Liberty charged me $281.09 a month for insurance and when I finally had a flat tire on a Friday night, they said they couldn't find any partners to help me and suggested I sleep in my car until Monday. I spent over 8 hours talking to various representatives over web-chat, text, phone, and email. They finally asked me to call whoever I wanted and they would reimburse me. I found a tow within 15 minutes for $130 and got back home.

    When I tried to get the reimbursement they cited their policy for non-partner reimbursement for a max of $50 and suggested I pay for a better roadside assistance plan with them. There is only one option available when selecting roadside assistance, but apparently you can get a better one after they take advantage of you the first time. I put a stop-payment on my last bill for them and canceled service, then told them I'd bring it to small claims court if it went to collections. I'm writing this now, because I just received the collections letter. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

    Hello, Liberty Mutual overcharged me on the final payment of my policy of $57.50, when in fact it was supposed to be $51.00 as agreed before it was withdrawn by supervisor Eric in Tampa Bay, Florida. Coincidentally $51.00 is the exact monthly amount I've paid Liberty Mutual for 2+ years before they unknowingly increased my monthly rate to $71.00 for no reason, and so this $51.00, unmistakably, is the exact amount that was agreed to be charged for the final payment with no additional fees or pro rated days. I called in 11/3/23 at 10:00 am and spoke with the most aggressive provoking supervisor, Randal whom refused to cooperate at all with me, by not transferring me to a non hostile supervisor, by not reviewing the recordings that was said numerous times by Eric.

    The the final payment was in fact $51.00. He refused to reverse the overcharge or transfer me to another supervisor, or even review phone recording that prove the overcharge, and he was as hostile as it gets saying things like "you don't scare me. I don't have to do anything for you" and "I'm not threatened by you. I'm not going to do anything for you Kevin." No threats were made. Nothing to scare him. He was just passively aggressively trying to provoke me in which case I did not give in and said goodbye and hung up, but Randal's behavior is absolutely unacceptable and the overcharge is in the amount of $6.50.

    Randal is based in Colorado. Randal said he is top of ladder and there's no one he can transfer me to, he then refused to give me his employee ID and transfer me to another supervisor or even the previous supervisor whom said similar things to me. Also I've never driven my BMW M5 V10 when I was insured with LM so I really paid them thousands of dollars for nothing.

    Received a nasty letter stating that I did not qualified for their auto insurance, the problem is I never ask them for auto insurance, I don't like Liberty Mutual, now I have nearly a perfect driving record, and a nearly perfect professional driving record, and had auto insurance from the age of 16 to present age 63 and always paid my auto insurance, call them to tell them and after 2 hours, being hang up on, they told investigate it and get back to me with a apologize, a week later I called with hang up, laugh at, I was told people with poor credit makes bad drivers, more hang up and they told me they are investigating it, then a second letter telling me I did not qualified their insurance, and did another illegal credit check, never ask for insurance with them, I had excellent insurance, been with my insurance company a long time, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY, they illegally check my credit and driving history twice. If they are doing this illegally, what else are they doing illegally.

    On 11 Sept,2023, I was shopping to get auto insurance quotes from different companies. Liberty told me to go online and register to get better discounts. After taking all my info, Liberty stole $8614 from my bank account. It's been 18 days now. They still have not returned my hard earned money. My bill, fees and charges have piled up. I have made dozens of calls to them. I never ever authorized them to take my money. In fact I called them right away and told them to stop. They said that the auto draft was just a test. And it would not go through. But it did. My current insurance wasn't even expiring till midnight 15 Sept. I am still insured with them, not wih Liberty. I was only shopping for quotes.

    Liberty Mutual agents have admitted taking the money through auto draft immediately. Their accounts department admitted that it's Fraud and theft. But they said that the system will hold my money till it's released. Eulanda from presidential office rudely told me on recorded line that "Liberty agents lied to me". She said I'm not getting my money till released by their system.

    Liberty is Fraud. They steal your money by auto draft, suggesting you to take advantage of additional discounts. I was scammed by Liberty Mutual. Everybody out there, don't fall for Liberty's go online, register and get additional 12% off scams. And don't ever give your bank information for auto draft for additional discounts. Liberty Mutual will Steal your money. I wonder how many people have fallen into Liberty's Fraud and have money Stolen from their accounts through Liberty's auto draft scam? There got to be some law to protect consumers from this? Liberty Mutual give me my $8614!!!!

    Buyer beware. If you can’t buy a policy online, don’t bother. I probably called 10 times this week to buy a policy. Even called the local agent with no response. Literally everyone I talked to after I sat on hold for 30min with no one responding put me on hold again. They lie to you that they are transferring you to another department, but I found out from my last call that it’s a broker. Fun knowing God knows who has all my info now.

    You don't truly know if you have a good insurance company until you need them. With Liberty Mutual, we were involved in a minor accident and Liberty rented us a vehicle while ours was being repaired. But when they learned that we were able to drive the vehicle to the body shop (with fender loose and tire rubbing), they cancelled the rental car and charged us for it saying the car was "drivable." All of this transpired via chat -- no agent to talk to. Pretty disappointing.
