The worst experience ever!!! After paying for insurance coverage for 15 years and never used it once, first I had to pay 100$ deductible then they sent me a broken phone. When I confronted them they did not even apologize and sent me back to tmobile to fix it. In the mean time I was without a phone for almost a week.

Speaking to the staff was irritating. At first I was told the claim was denied, then it was accepted. However the person was not fully aware of what was going on. He needed to "listen" occasionally instead of trying to guess what I was going to say next!! So, the issues could have been taken care of faster had he just shut up and listened for a change.

Sorry don't have order number convenient but I am happy with the service I got. I had a shattered screen and they did replace with a refurbished. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is instead of a 5 star is the deductible was pretty steep considering you also pay a pretty high premium.

They delivered my phone, did not notify me at the time I left the phone on the doorstep at 1 PM, got home from work at 10:30 PM, there was no phone. Made a phone call, they treated me like I was lying. Two weeks later still no phone.

I called in my claim at 1 AM in the morning on September 20. I called back in approximately 1 hour to report we had located the device and to CANCEL any report or replacement. Cancel means stop all actions, and there is no longer any problem. I have to say they were expedient at filing and trying to produce a remedy. Here are the details that made this a horrid experience.
I was told quickly that the new replacement would not ship until the following Monday, (this in itself was disturbing and inefficient to me). After calling to CANCEL the incident, Assurant proceeded to not only ship a replacement ON THE 20th, they were all impressed with themselves that they had done a terrific job. I called 2 times to cancel because I wanted to be very clear that they stop all activity immediately. The employees involved did not and consequently, the device was shipped, (after being canceled twice). Assurant apparently has no control of a situation once it is put into action.
I had to call and get a return label emailed to me which I took to the UPS store and they returned the device that evening (Monday, Sept 23). I was misinformed that refusing the item would have been a better action on my part. I made several other calls asking to expedite the refund, and told of their stupid policy of holding the funds for 10 business days. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY because I called back TWICE within an hour to stop all action. Assurant proceeded to hold the prorated $145 replacement cost for 15 days when it should have been canceled!!! This caused the owner of the bank card immeasurable consequences. I am a tech, and I know that hold or authorization on a credit card can be reversed almost immediately. (You take the money instantly. Put it back immediately.)
I have been a customer of T-Mobile for 16 years, and this is the worst case of inefficiency I have ever seen. I would fire Assurant right now if I knew I could get insurance on my device somewhere that could perform the job in a more efficient manner. I had to choose 1 star but you deserve NO stars. I will drop this contract as soon as it is no longer needed, and I will find a BETTER more efficient company to handle my insurance needs in the future. You have been measured and found wanting.

I have made the call 9/19/19 to file a claim. I received device 9/23/19. Except the small delay waiting for the replacement device I have to say I was completely satisfied. Filing a claim was pretty easy and painless. Not at all what I was expecting. I did have to fill details online after paying for it but I understand that you must have documentation from us. I was very happy you lowered the deductible payment which was too much before. It used to be $150 but now you charged me $99 that seems fair since we had an older model. This was my son’s line.
Also you must been out of stock for his device the galaxy S7; but you sent a better phone, you sent a replacement for the galaxy S8. I appreciate that initiative a lot. He was overall happy. My son is away in college so it took a while to get broken device from him. I still returned the broken device within the 10 day required. So I also appreciate the 10 day flexibility because that also helped us with ample time to get everything squared away. I returned broken device on 10/2/2019. Thanks to all of you for the amazing service you are providing us. I can’t thank you enough. I never been happy to file a claim before but this time you made it all worthwhile. Thank you!!

I find it funny how you have to have exact information pertaining to name and address when filing a claim but the person who helps file the claim can do poorly enter your information. When I missed my delivery (or when UPS said I did because I was home that’s why they didn’t leave a first attempt tag) my product was shipped over 20 miles from my home because the person listed my address as Carmen instead of Campbell and 60644 instead of 60622. In conclusion I had to find time to travel 45 mins from my home.

When my phone was found flattened in the street, I feared I would be out of touch with family, friends, and work for weeks. I called Assurant that evening. Amazingly, I had a new phone shipped the next day and arrived the day after. Communication was superb, with email updates and text messages on every step. I returned my damaged phone in the shipping container that delivered my new phone. How great to be trusted! It certainly sped up the transaction. I'll use Assurant for all my phones.

Very easy to make damage claim online Assurant.com. The claim sheets forms were so easy to fill and response was impressive. I got my new replacement phone within 24 hours. I would like to thanks everyone that works in this company for the great job.

My cell phone LG k10 was old and the charging port was damaged; it was missing a piece and I could no longer plug in to charge. Then Yasmin, the most helpful person at T-mobile informed me I had Assurant. I called Assurant right there and my replacement phone-upgraded Lg k20 plus was sent to me the very next day! And then Yasmin at T-Mobile helped me with SIM card! Thank you Assurant and T-mobile - what great joint cooperation!

When a client calls and tell you they have AppleCare coverage you are not to do a claim and waste days to close it because you opened it by mistake in tmobile claims as oppose to the applecare portal. Horrible experience! You guys opened and closed my case for days instead of realizing that you have several units. It was then fulfilled by just calling a different Assurant number without the history, see Your Claim Number: **.

I do not appreciate you guys sending me a defective device and then making me wait for another as if it is my fault you guys failed to test the device before sending it. I am on week 3 without a device and very discouraged that you guys charged my card $100 with no working device available to me. Service with you guys for the first time is horrible and I will never go through you guys again. I had difficulty setting up my new phone, so I had to go a T mobile store for assistance. (Transferring Data etc.) My intention was to mail the damage phone soon after the reps assisted me with my phone. Unfortunately, I left the prepaid envelope (without the phone) in the store. I am afraid they took it as trash and threw it out. Can you please resend the envelope to my address without me being penalized?

My daughter dropped her phone and screen was shattered. Opened the claim with Assurant and they sent me through Apple care they said I have. On appointment day the authorized repair facility rep told me that I have only a limited warranty and the only way to replace the screen is to pay in full. Called Apple and they said that I have an Apple care, Apple rep set another appointment on the following day for repair. When I arrived to the facility they told me that I have only a limited warranty so no repair can be done unless I paid in full around $180. Frustrated called the Assurant again and explain what is going on that they sending me back and forth. Finally I was able to set the device replacement day through Assurant which was on the following day but after I paid a $100 deductible. To say I am 100% satisfied? Not really but the bottom line is that my daughter’s got a phone replacement.

I received a phone, was so excited to use it but I couldn't get it to work properly. I took it to Tmobile and an hour of set up and updates it still didn't work. I sent this device back and still havent get a new replacement phone or heard back from you.

My replacement phone was clearly defective as soon as I started charging it and powered it on. The 180 day warranty information doesn't even include instructions on how to get support if the device you paid good money for ($100) and were sent is broken. Terrible customer experience.

I was told I would receive my replacement phone next day since I stated I work with my phone and needed it asap. 3 days later with no notice or email, I call to see what's going on. I get told I was put on a hold. No reason was given to me, was told by I should have taken care of my phone better and that I just have to wait. Spoke to supervisor and the service got even worse. I pay for a service, not to be lied to or treated like garbage. I missed out on at least $512 due to the fact that I work with my phone, as I stated when I first made claim. This won't stop here. I sent complaint to consumer report. You should train your employees on the simple concept of... CUSTOMER SERVICE! You guys will never get a penny from me again.

When I filed my claim everyone at Assurant was extremely helpful. I was told my replacement phone would be delivered in 2 to 3 days. I was very pleased when it arrived the very next day. Good customer service all around.

I received a phone that does not function properly (2nd time), I shipped it back and I am still waiting to get the other device it has been more than 2 weeks and I am still waiting... The service is really bad. I certainly don't recommend this company.

I literally had my phone stolen a week after buying it. I was so upset but the claim process is so easy I didn’t have to stress about that part. We were able to watch the video at 7/11 and see who stole my phone and the manager was able to recover my stolen phone. I called Assurant to ask if I could be credited back my deductible if I sent back the phone because it had only been 2 days and they said yes. Lifesaver as I had gone negative to pay the deductible. You guys rock!!!! Easy process and amazing customer service.

I’m waiting on a return label to return this phone. I just received this phone two weeks ago and my screen is green. I called yesterday And since I’m still under the 90 day warranty they advised that they “Josh” was going to get a return label within 24 hours!! I don’t know if it will happen because they gave me really hard time. They even took it personal and kept me hanging on the phone for about 30mins (the second time).

Not happy at all. Phone has been lost during transit and phone has not been received and it as almost been a month. Process for tracking a lost device is way too long. I would rather just buy a new phone than to go through filing an insurance claim with Assurant. I will never do this again.

It's been close to two weeks now without my replacement and no update as to when I'll be getting one as the company they hired (UPS) delivered it to the wrong location. Customer should be more of a priority, should have sent another device and taken it up with UPS instead of making me wait forever and a day, and incessantly sending emails for reviews.

I think the whole deal was very unprofessional. I could not even understand the woman that was talking to me because her accent from another country was so heavy I couldn't understand her. And I don't know why you charge me $50 deductible when the phone is only worth $150, I have paid for this phone 5 times every time I make a $5 donation every month. I will be terminating this insurance today.

Filing my claim was fast and easy. I filed online and I knew within minutes whether or not the claim was approved. My replacement phone was in my hand within 48 hours. My deductible was reasonable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I received my replacement phone; took it (unopened box) to the T-Mobile store. The representative was very nice. As the tried to transfer information from an old phone I used, awaiting for replacement phone, the NEW IPhone froze several times and we could not shut the phone down. When we finally got the phone to operate, the rep called Assurant to inform of the issues with the phone and I was referred to Apple. I was told back in August of 2018 I didn't qualify for my replacement phone. I had to wait. I I ask several agents will I be able to receive my phone back in August 2019 as I was previously told. But when August came I was shot screwed. I'm still paying off on two phones I dont physically have. I'm so over the crap insurance. What do I have it for? It's just nonsense. I highly applaud with T-Mobile and Assurant. Nothing but a bunch of crooks. The consumer doesn't come first. I'm so over all of it. Nobody has the right info and the consumer pays. There has to be a lawsuit there in the cracks. Ripping people off. You should be ashamed.

This have to be the worst company MetroPCS has chosen. Cracked my phone and then they hit me with "we need to verify your information, is going to take five days." Yeah right! Took them two weeks to verify. Once verify they sent me the wrong phone device so nothing was working once activated. Called and was told I had to send the device in order to get my correct phone. Lady said it will only take "24 hours to 48 hours" to confirm the shipping. Called now after 48 hours and they have the nerve to say "sorry we still haven't received it." Going to a month on Friday without my phone because of this company.
I will definitely take my insurance off cause they are truly not worth it. Mind you my phone is paid for. So they took my money but taking them a month to send me my correct phone. I have never written a review in my life till now because they sure need people to see this one. And I hope they post this review for people to see how they truly are.

Had a terrible experience dealing with this company. Wish I knew I was going to be sent a crappy phone when I started paying the insurance. Never again! Customer service was not helpful and made those terrible incident even worse!

I do need write review because I feel frustrated and bcoz people to be aware of the fact that when this company says replacement then IT'S REFURBISHED - which they don't tell when you get the plan. I got my replacement phone about 120 days ago and now when it's not functioning well, I called and they said "Ohh bcoz you are over 90 days we can't do anything." Very bad experience with this. I recommend because you go with this company check you options bcoz you still have to pay $129 for the plan which is not worth it if you get refurbished phone.

My phone was shipped very quickly to me. I was not told they didnt have the same color in stock, so that was a surprise to me when it arrived. I dont mind, but that should be something told to the customer ahead of time. Returning my broken phone was confusing. There was a bag with a shipping label included, plus another shipping label. The instructions included were very vague and did not seem to even be relevant to the shipping materials I provided. I'm still not sure if I packaged it correctly. It did come with a FedEx tracking number, so I did check to make sure it was delivered, and it seems to have been. This is a necessary service as a smartphone user, but the return process needs to be reconfigured to be easier to figure out.

The initial time I called to file the claim, the phone call was really bad. There is a lot of noise behind the employee and we spent maybe 20-30 minutes going over spelling. Such as d as in dog, a as an apple, V as in Victor. We did this for my first name and last name and my email and that took an unreasonable amount of time just to do. I told the employer that I have to call back to take care of something. I called back immediately talk to another person and there was still noise behind the employee but this person was able to get the spelling of my name and email quite quickly and help me finish the rest of the process. After that the experience was good.

For one thing it took about a week to receive a replacement device, that's not the time they advertise in their ad. Once I received it, it was not the same device. If I paid for a blue phone and sent a blue phone in, then why would I not receive a blue phone in return. I specifically chose this phone because I liked the color among other things. It's like buying a black phone and they send you a pink phone in return, who would not be upset and feel cheated. I consider that stealing from me. Even after calling in personally several times, nothing. Now, this current refurbished device they have sent me is now giving me issues and it seems I have to go through this debacle again. I've been with my carrier well over ten yrs and have loved their service. For the first time ever I'm having second thoughts. You would think when you spend over 1200.00 on a phone and pay your bill on time each month, you would get a little empathy and help.
The insurance coverage does not guarantee color match for replacement devices. The process was very easy and the representative was very helpful and friendly. I received the phone quickly. The only "complaint" I had was that a return label was not sent and had to call to request to get one. However, it was not a big deal. Service was great.

While trying to get my phone replaced through your company recently I witnessed and was unfortunately involved with one of the biggest mishandled and unprofessional interactions with a company did I have seen in my almost 50 years on this Earth. From the complete lack of concern on the part of your representatives concerning my replacement phone or the fact that I use it for my business, to the time I had to spend doing all the legwork for your company in which I assumed the $50 payment was to ensure that you guys did your job but instead I ended up doing it all ( i.e. driving back and forth to the local store, obtaining copies of my Bill's, making copies of my driver's license and locating a place vfc to send it all from).
What was supposed to be a simple 24/48 hour evolution, turned into a three week display of exactly how a professional company should never conduct themselves when addressing a customer's concerns. I pose a question; if you pay your car insurance deductible after an accident do you in turn expect your insurance company to then do their job? And if they don't would you feel a bit slighted as you payed for a service that was conducted as poorly as you could imagine, caused you major setbacks due to being without your vehicle and wasted your time doing their leg work for them? I'm assuming you would feel just as I do, if my experience is true of the entire company than I'm sure this was just another waste of time but in the event the individual reading this is a professional then my purpose us served as this issue will be dealt with. I have been with T-Mobile for 8 years and the entire time I have had insurance on my phone may be to have to have replaced my phone twice during this 8 years. This has been the worst experience ever. I have not yet received my phone yet and have no additional information.

My phone was lost in transit! I called UPS and I was told the day after I was suppose to receive my phone, that it was lost. I called your company and spoke with a supervisor and explained to him that my phone was lost and that you all need to contact UPS to start a claim. The supervisor was rude and very sarcastic! I have never experienced such bad customer service! The worst! I spoke with UPS over a week ago and because of this situation I told them to contact you all to start a claim. I still have no phone!

As soon as I apply for replacement of my damaged phone it take three day to get my new phone which is nice and I send back the old one which is broken and I couldn't turn it off in my icloud account but I am pretty sure it will get there safe and they will let me know as soon as they get it. It was hassle-free. The young lady that helped me did all that she could and even checked on a previous matter. The time when I called was late but she still got all of my information to get things going and sent the phone out in times.

I went through a hard time but you guys made sure I was straight. But you guys do need to speak with some of your customer service reps and go through a little more training. Cause doing a claim over the phone will never work cause somebody always get some type of info wrong. So yes it is better to file online.

I filled a claim out from my local T-Mobile store, they were to send me a phone within 24 hours. I received it 6 days later. That phone was broken. I called right away to let them know the phone was very hot while charging, the volume was very poor, and the typing was written on top of each other. I called multiple times and each time was told different things. I still stayed patient until this afternoon the tech was really rude to me. I feel like I was very kind and patient because I understand things happen. I still have a broken replacement phone. I really don’t want to call back because I don’t want to explain myself again and be talked to the way I did today. I have been with T-Mobile for 20 yrs and have never had a problem.

Everyone I spoke with were professional and helpful. They answered all my questions and tried the best to explain the company's policy. Even when the called dropped they called right back although they disconnected another phone trying to activate my phone. The person that helped reconnected her phone was knowledgeable about the system and had it working. Within 10 minutes.

The replacement phone took longer to leave your warehouse, arrive to me than initially promised. The phone was left at the door, without a signature, while I was inside waiting. The replacement phone sent has a problem with low volume and the mapquest navigation. I knew a properly working phone.

I’m SO glad I opted in for the insurance plan with Metro PCS. I lost my phone last week and it was an iPhone 6plus. I called Assurant immediately to blacklist my phone and to get a replacement. My deductible was $200, which I thought was pretty high... UNTIL THEY SENT ME MY REPLACEMENT! Let me add that they sent my phone for free overnight, but I made my claim on a Saturday, so it would’ve been sent out on Monday for Tuesday delivery. Well turns out that there was a delivery exception because of some floods in Texas, still not Assurant's fault. But the whole process was quick, easy and hassle free. I was even impressed by their voice activated services because the robot got my answers correct each and every time! I usually get so frustrated with those voice robots but this one was quite calming to my nerves.
So, I go my replacement and it was a BEAUTIFUL IPHONE 8 PLUS!! Yup, an 8plus!!! I couldn’t believe it. It was a nice rose gold cream color with a glass back, just gorgeous!!! I can tell it was refurbished because it wasn’t in the box, but it was flawless... I just wish it came with the earphones because I don’t have any earphones to fit the audio jack on the 8... with my 6 it was just a normal headphone input. Overall I’m very impressed with the whole experience and customer service. I’m a very satisfied customer.

The team was unable to process my claim in the required SLA. The representative and manager were very rude and unempathetic to my issue. I They did not care that I was losing business with the delay of my replacement device. The manager and representative were concerned about moving getting me off the phone. The charging port is intermittent and has to be positioned a particular way to fast charge. I would like to return it, but it costs me money to shut down and wait for a delivery of a phone. I am a professional driver and never in the same city for long.

I have sent emails. And I am absolutely aggravated with this process. 3 times in a row I waited plus 5 days. Last one I waited 6 days for a result and 9 days to receive the phone. In the last 3 times I ordered a replacement 1 time I had to buy a phone even though I had insurance because of the wait time. 1 time I waited 9 days and 1 time I waited 6. There was a past issue that I personally stopped even though your operator was going to send it to a p.o box over 40 miles away from the billing address. Also what is there to verify if the phone is being sent to the billing address. What is to verify if the phone is being paid from the billing address. What is there to verify if its addressed to the name on the account. Very unacceptable and it caused a headache for me at work as well.

The device was never delivered to my house. I had a very difficult time retrieving the phone from the pick up location. Even though tracking showed the device delivered the store workers were too busy, requesting continuously that I call back they were not be able to locate the device for 3 days. There was no charger and the sim card is the wrong size.

After 12 days without a phone and Apple at Greenhills in Nashville telling us they could not find a phone to replace mine you sent a replacement phone. I payed the $99.00 but when we received the replacement phone it did not work at all. When we called and told you it did not work you said you would not replace it until we sent the nonworking replacement phone back and we could not do that until you sent us a label which would take at least 24 hours. All this took about 12 days and me without a phone. No pleading or explaining would change your company’s policy and you certain not did not care that it was your fault you sent out a nonworking replacement phone or that you sent us all over Nashville to get the paperwork completed and then still could not get a phone.
We finally decided to forget about getting a phone through the insurance we have paid for for over two years and simply pay out of our pocket for the old phone and purchase a new one. Two weeks without a phone when you have insurance is completely unacceptable. Your company totally ripped us off and cost us gas, time and not to mention the anxiety it caused trying to get you to honor your claim. If you were a reputable company that valued your customers, you would reimburse me the amount I paid for this insurance, the amount I paid to get out of my old phone and the $99.00 I sent you as my deductible. Also, being an honorable person, I did send back the nonworking replacement phone.

My experience was really good. I was holding onto the Samsung Tablet to see if I could get it to reboot. I was nervous that I let too many days go by without getting in touch with someone about it, it turned out not to be a problem. The initial rep was helpful, but I requested a supervisor and not only was she helpful she made this process simple and quick. I was initially told that I had to fill out paperwork and send it back. The worst experience ever, which almost made me leave my current carrier. If the customer service will not be parallel to the service I would receive from my provider they just shouldn't take calls or claims. This issue was put into escalation and I am still waiting on a satisfactory result. Horrible experience. I hope to never need to use my protection plan again.

Called to do an insurance claim. Was told I couldn't because it was over 90 days by barely 2 days even though I have been paying the insurance. On the phone 1 of the reason it took so long was because I didn't have the 150. Dollars to pay deductible. Told this to a supervisor but he didn't care. So I guess the moral of story, doesn't matter if you pay your insurance. They just hide behind policy and the only ones who suffer are the consumers.

From the moment I contacted Assurant to the time I receive my replacement phone everything has been perfect. I fell and broke my arm, my phone suffered in the accident too. The initial system was the automated and I found it to be very intuitive and easy to use. I believe I paid too much for a deductible to get a mess up phone for a replacement. I think you need to revisited how you handle claims.

The process of the initial claim process was very easy and quick but I never received my phone because my old phone was returned to me and I called and canceled the claim but just the process to get my reimbursement is taking forever. I had spoke to someone on the 20th of September and they have noticed the warehouse had received the correct device and I was advised that my reimbursement would be back in my account on the 30th. But today I called and now my reimbursement will not be in my account till the 8th. This inconvenient. Now I'm behind in bills.

This was a very horrible experience. I pay for this service faithfully monthly and when it's time for me to use it to get a replacement time was not of the essence with Assurant. I ordered a replacement for my damaged phone at 8am in Thursday morning. I explained I work with ailing seniors and I need my phone for work as it is how I click in and out as well as, for an emergency. They said they would ship it next day. My order didn't process until 2 minutes after 8pm so it was not shipped on Thursday. I tried to track my phone on Friday and it would not track as it again was not shipped. I called over the weekend and agreed to speak to a supervisor or manager to Express my displeasure with the circumstances and was told that the are no supervisors there on weekends.
I agreed if I would be eligible for a discount or a refund of my 99 dollar deductible due to the circumstances and was told they could cancel the order if I'd like. I did not cancel my order as I stated I needed my phone. I did stop in to a tmobile store to see if they had a loaner but was unsuccessful. I am extremely upset by this whole situation. I then asked if they could have a supervisor call me to address the situation and ward told no they couldn't do that either. I'd have to call back. Do you always make things do difficult for your customers? Do you make promises you don't keep. Not happy at all!

Assurant sent us a "blacklisted phone," so we had to wait another two days for her to have her phone and any communication with work, etc. It was terribly inconvenient and very disappointing. Filed a claim 9-12-19 which Assurant says my bank denied. Bank says funds were released on 9-14-19. Waited a week to see if funds were either refunded to me or received by Assurant. Bank says funds were deducted and sent to Assurant. Assurant denies having received my payment FORCING me to use make payment with another financial institution. So currently going through processes to dispute with my bank to give me funds back after sending funds to Assurant.

When I submitted a claim to get a replacement device, even though they tell you your replacement is based off of availability, the agent did a stock check and I was guaranteed the exact phone/color that I needed replaced would be sent. 1) When I opened the replacement, it was the incorrect version/color that I was guaranteed. 2) When I called in to notify them that they sent me the wrong version of the device, the agent said "OK, so?" 3)When I initially called to file the claim, my billing and shipping address didn't match because I use a PO Box, which they "can't" ship to, but that wasn't the problem, my bank actually had my PO Box associated with my payment method. I ended up calling several different departments and spent over an hour on the phone over a couple days with representatives that had no idea how to help..
First off, ALL FORMS OF INSURANCE IN AMERICA IS CORRUPT! Health insurance, Life Insurance, Auto, Home, Boat, Pet, etc...but in this case, cell phone insurance. In thinks it's HIGHLY questionable that we pay for the products, we pay for the insurance policies, and on top of that, WE HAVE DEDUCTIBLES and copays! I also think the actual replacement devices we receive are questionable. SO QUESTION IT!

Well, the screen cracked so I decided to use the benefits and switch the phone. This service has not been easy to deal with. It took more than a week for me to get my phone. The system would not accept my documentation and the system was only displaying the error "server error". When I reported it I was told to send my very private and secured information to an email address. When I followed up they said they never received it and I was given wrong information. I attempted to speak with a manager but they were very unhelpful In addressing my concerns. They told me if I was that upset to send a letter with my complaints. This is unacceptable and if I have an issue I would like things to be escalated and looked into further. I shouldn't need to contact you guys via snail mail.
It's disturbing to me that you and your team aren't trained to keep documentation and private correspondence secured, and that your support team is giving out false information. I spoke with a TMobile rep only to be told the same thing to send a letter. That to me is unacceptable for a company that prides itself in technology. I will be looking into different insurance firms for this service since I have had nothing but issues with the service and its employees.

I spent 3 or More Hours on the phone trying to give my credit card # to the stupid robot. It could not understand me (you need a MUCH Better Voice recognition program). It would then send me back to a human operator (whose English was highly foreign accent, that I could hardly understand) who would ask the same 5?? And hook me back to the robot!!! Never did anyone suggest I could use the #pad to enter the card # & other information for the robot.

I did not receive the phone I was promised. I was told I would receive S8 but received S7. Although very friendly, the person who was helping me neglected to tell me to also process my claim through email. This delayed its arrival. I called when my daughter lost her phone. Bill took my call. When I stated my daughter lost her phone he asked me what her consequences would be. Then he started saying, "This is why the world is on such bad shape." About a three minute lecture. Then he couldn't find my account although I have had this number for 15 years. After three attempts he realized he didn't have the number lock on. Then he directed me to the website to finish up my claim. Everything went smoothly after I did that.

At first I was concerned about my deductible pricing because usually it is only $5 for the phone. I had J7 (I know because I've called before) but this time it was $49, need a phone so I didn't question it. The response time to our claim was better than expected. However, the replacement unit is defective. Charging of the battery takes forever. Rarely would it get fully charged in a little more than an hour, which is normal of my old/replaced phone using its fast charger. And in the car using the same car charger, sometimes the battery discharges faster than it charges with the GPS and music on. Most of the time it gains only 2% - 3% after about an hour on the road.

Worst first experience with this T-mobile insurance provider. I have been paying the phone insurance through Assurant for more than 3 years now. My phone got broken so I decided to use the insurance for the first time. It's being almost two weeks since I order the replacement phone and I haven't receive it. I have call multiple times to the Assurant help center and they are unable to help me. They only say to contact headquarters. Guess how you can contact HQ? You have to write a letter to them! It's 2019 and I have to write a letter to get an answer! That's going to take weeks to hear back!! Don't get this insurance!!!

Terrible experience. The phone that was sent to me was not the same as the one I had. No one told me I'd be getting a different phone. It was long and narrow. Camera (which I use for work) was not as good. I had to call TMobile and they gave me a different phone which cost me over $400. This was a terrible experience, a total waste of the $150 deductible I had to pay. I wish there was a different insurance company I could get.

Speaking with the employee at the call center was the worst experience EVER! You could hear about 12 people in the background and everything that I said was echoed back into the ear piece of the phone. The employee had such a heavy accent that it was hard to understand him. It took probably 15 or more minutes just to verify my address because you cant hear anything. I DO NOT LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME I HAVE TO CONTACT YOUR COMPANY.

Lost my I phone xr that was purchased at Apple store along with damage and loss insurance that was purchased at the same time. I contacted apple and was instructed to put iPhone in lost mode and did as requested then continued to file claim. Since phone was dead when lost it never contacted icloud. A few days later I put into wipe mode just in case in an attempt to protect my data if phone was ever found. Not knowing I shouldn't do this as I had just followed instructions given by apple and Assurant. This attempt to protect my data with the tools provided by apple evidently voided my insurance plan but not the monthly payments for that plan.
This policy by apple and assurant is useless in my case. Would have been helpful if apple or assurant had told me "Do not try to protect your data with the tools we provide or we won't replace your phone."

When I first called into assistant the customer service agent told me she would mail me a label to return my replacement phone that wasn’t working without sending me another replacement. When I complained about being left without a phone for however long it will take to exchange, she hung up on me. I never received the label. I had to call in again and was told I can go into the T-Mobile store since it’s under warranty. I don’t believe that to be true since they sent me a refurbished phone that doesn’t work. I smell a scam to upgrade my phone.

I called to cancel my order within an hour because I found the phone. I was informed that the order was canceled and I would receive my deductible back within 7 days. That didnt happen because the phone was shipped to me anyways. I returned it to a FedEx location 3 weeks ago. I called Assurant to let them know. After 1 week, I still hadnt received my money back so I called again and was assured that this time the refund had been processed. Well it's been 2 weeks and still no refund. New phone has issues. The new phones cameras is blurry. This is a problem for a photographer who takes all types of pictures with her phone when looking at locations for work. The phone drops video calls every 3-5 minutes and switches them to voice and it doesn't make a difference if you are on WIFI or 4G with full rx/tx bars.

I processed a claim through Assurant and had to pay the deductible fee right then in order to get the replacement phone. Two hours later the phone was found. I called back to stop the phone from being sent and was told after a lengthy wait that it was on the way. However, I NEVER received the email confirming the claim until AFTER the customer service agent told us it was too late and we hung up. Suspicious, to say the least. Assurant received the returned phone but tell me that I can't get my money returned to me for 10 AFTER the accounting dept. processes the refund.
Now, Assurant, that is not how you collected the money! You did not wait to get the funds from me but I have to wait more than 10 days at the least to get my money back! People! Let's stand up against these one sided tactics used by these corporations! They have one standard for customers but don't hold to those same standards when it comes to their interests! This has got to stop! Only support companies that have fair practices!! This is not one!!!

My son broke the screen on my phone and the whole face of my phone began to lift up. I called Assurant, and I was given the instructions on what my responsibilities were and their obligations were. After fulfilling my deduction my replacement phone was on my doorstep in no time. I was given a few days to return my broken phone which really worked for me and my busy schedule. The only thing that I have a complaint about is the deductible. If only it work like my car insurance, lowering the deductible after so many years of service without using the services.

Overall my insurance phone replacement was satisfactory. What I did not care for was that I had to go to a store to have my device activated. I tried to just call and was told that they could not do it. Additionally, the store charged me a $15 fee! I broke my phone on Friday and received my replacement Tuesday. I went 5 days without a phone to not even save $25! My phone costs 150 new. I paid a 100 deductible and a 15 fee plus the monthly insurance charge. Next time I will just buy a new phone!

I was not impressed with your service because the phone sent to me has an issue general technical issue. I was told I was getting a Note 8. Then 3 days later no tracking number, I was told none in stock. After talking with a supervisor, I was asked to list 3 phone I would take instead. 40 mins later I get the email with the tracking number for the Note 8. I get the phone the next day. It was only charged 20% and did not come with a charger. I am now on day 5 with no charger and no phone. I really hope your company doesn't expect my old device on 10/4 until I have the charger for this phone. This is completely unacceptable. I pay a monthly fee for insurance and paid my deductible. This is now the 2nd time I have had an issue recouping my device through this company.

Replace a lost-stolen phone. I liked the fast response to the claim. The replacement arrived two days later. I also liked the possibility of dealing with a person and not a prompted machine. I would recommend.

I had to be transferred to many departments all telling me to do something different, and now I'm just now getting it rectified from almost a month ago so this made me more irritated than feeling like a valued customer.

I paid my deductible. They sent me a same phone different color but to find out they put a block on the other line that wasn’t lost or stolen. I had to return the phone for them to redo it correctly. It’s been over a week that I don’t have a phone and over 2 weeks that my other line is blocked. I call every couple a days and they still don’t resolve my problem.. I really am annoyed with this provider.

My phone was sitting on my car and I accidentally left it. It fell off as I was driving and got run over. I came back to retrieve it. I was taken care of at T-Mobile. They were great. I was assisted there and talked to Assurant insurance. Within 24 hours Assurant responded quickly and I received a replacement within days. Easy for an old gal like me. Thank you.

I love Assurant, they are helpful and fast with their service. I always get great service and replacements are quality. I have used them often for my family’s phones and never had any problems and the cost is very reasonable.

I claimed iPhone 5 S from T-Mobile. Paid $99 deductible. After receiving the phone, it was defective. I have to send the defective phone first and then call them to order another one which I receive now and is also defective. Obviously, these phones are not made anymore as per my common sense and they must be refurbished which are not done properly. No one cared to replace with an upgraded model which should be the way to go as per what I think. No one cared to call me back to complete the claim. I am still without that number for months and still paying bills but no one care.

It took 6 days to get my new phone and I asked to make sure it was brand new and not refurbished and I got a refurbished one anyway. I was expecting the phone the next day as advertised on the claim site home page.

I made a claim for my phone that was stolen but then the phone was recovered so I called reps and they had me send back the phone for a refund. They said I would have to wait 10-14 business days to receive my money and I called them after the 10-14 business days because my money never was refunded and when I called they said there was mistake made and that I had to wait an additional 10-14 days making it a total of 1 month to receive money owed to me and when I asked a supervisor they told me they weren’t available.... Terrible customer service, totally dissatisfied and still don’t have my money and actually wanted to give zero stars but it wouldn’t allow me to.

For the first time after purchasing a new phone, I purchased the insurance. I was thankful that I did as I dropped my phone in the lake while on vacation. I worked with a US Cellular store to begin the process of filing a claim. The owner of the store told me that I would most likely get a replacement phone by the next day (Friday) or Monday at the latest since that was her experience. Since I was still on vacation and I use my phone for my business, the time to receive my replacement phone was imperative. The claim was received on Thursday 09/05 and it was approved a week later.
On the 12th, I let Assurant know that I was heading home from vacation on the morning of the 13th and I was assured that I would receive it before then. I then tracked the replacement phone and learned that FedEx could not deliver my phone. I called FedEx; they said that the "sender" had recalled the package. I called Assurant and was told it was FedEx's mistake. Assurant said they would send a new replacement to my home since I was leaving the vacation rental cabin in the morning. On the 13th, I received a message late moring from the cabin owner that my phone had arrived (the original replacement) -- problem was that I was almost home. She was kind enough to open the package and return it for me. I finally received the replacement phone late Friday the 13th. When I opened the package, it was the wrong color. It was pink and I wanted the slate blue so I called Assurant again and was basically told that you get what you get.
Start to finish, I am super unhappy with the process. It was a pain to not have my phone for a week on vacation but if I had been working that whole time instead of on vacation, I would have been irate! So purchasing insurance, paying the $100 deductible, messing around with phone calls, not having my phone for 8 days and getting an ugly pink phone at the end of it all is the reason I am VERY dissatisfied. The only positive in the whole process was your customer service representatives; they were professional, efficient and kind. I hope you treat them better than you respond to your customers.

You guys asking for too many information just to send the phone. It’s used to much easier before. Now much more time and effort. If you are the account holders I don’t think you need this much information just to send the replacement phone.
